20 Best Iwb Holster For Xds (2023 Updated)

I received my order in record amount of time, that’s fantastic. I have 2 other Tulster holsters, both are Profiles, love them. They’re comfortable. I can slide them into my waistband in my truck. I can move them around when they get uncomfortable, and they look really good.

I purchased 2 Oaths for my HK and my Ruger. Liked the look of these holsters but I can’t get them to work. They’re uncomfortable, the guns either to low in my jeans, to where it’s awful when I’m sitting down, ( the barrel jabs into my legs) in the wrong place, so that with that metal clip I can’t, one: easily slide it into my waistband, two, slide it around to adjust it, three, the wing catches when you try to slide it into your waist so you have to undo your jeans to affix it anywhere, (neither of these guns have enough of a grip that they stick out really negating the reason to even have the wing in the first place), then you need to know exactly where you want that holster to be because between the clip and the wing- it’s not moving.

The clip makes it hard to remove the holster because like my German Shepherds, once it has a grip on something it’s not letting go, and prying it open sometimes is kinda difficult. And finally, for some reason my shirt wants to slide down in-between the gun and holster when you reholster, I know, you have to make sure that doesn’t happen, I Know.

But I’ve been carrying quite awhile now and I don’t have that problem with the Profiles. I don’t know if it’s the cut for the red dots or what but I was spooked the first time that happened. So I’m extra aware, as you should always be, where everything is when I’m wearing these.

Tulster has always treated me well, fast ship, periodic discounts, they came packaged in a bag which I liked because I get enough cardboard since COVID nowadays, they are a great company, so I don’t like sending a unhappy story.

I have taken the wings off, I made a couple of small bushings to replace the wing, I used the 2 shims on both holsters to set my retention which I really like. I like how small they are and I really like the black multicam.

I’m not done with them and I’ll continue to work with them, it just hasn’t been love at first sight for me. ( Been doing this long enough that I know what holster works for one might not work for everyone, we’re all built different) thanks for your time.

This is my second Tulster OATH IWB holster. The first was for my Springfield Amory Hellcat, and this new one is for my Shadow Systems CR920 WARPOET PISTOL. The holster’s fit and finish is superb, while the spring-steel belt clip secures the weapon well to your carry belt; however, I will say that it would be nice if there were two opposing clips (on either side) for a more secure attachment.

This second point of attachment would facilitate a more accurate / repeatable draw stroke. The negative of having one clip. the weapon’s cant changes with body movements. A much wider clip (at the top), along the belt’s top edge could possibly solve this issue if continuing with the solo-clip design.

The kydex is molded precisely for your specific weapon which helps with retention; however, it would be advantageous having an adjustable retention system that would allow for an even stronger hold in the event of a fall or (God forbid), a struggle for the weapon during an altercation.

I give the OATH IWB 4. 5 STARS! P. S. I find this particular holster to be VERY concealable (more than most) under just a t-shirt! I highly recommend the Tulster OATH IWB holster for your EDC setup. Regards, Mr.

I love the OATH IWB Holster! While the metal clip took some getting used to, it is a sure hold on my belt. The option to add a different ModWing is great, but the smaller one works for me, driving the grip to my body and making my weapon virtually undetectable.

The pressure on the frame is perfect to hold the weapon in place, and reasonable for the “pull”. Optics ready was a big plus! Another item that I ordered at the same time didn’t really meet my needs.

The quality was excellent, it just wasn’t the right fit for me. I had a problem working the return over my phone (my error), and it caused confusion all around. Richard called me directly and carefully inquired about my desire to return, even offering different use case scenario and alternate solutions.

He was in no hurry, he just wanted to make sure all of my questions were answered, supporting my search for the perfect setup. He even took additional time to tell me more about himself, Tulster and its growth, the industry and his outlook for the future.

I bought this holster to use with the Smith & Wesson M&P 2. 0 flat face trigger, optics ready pistol in 9mm. I have attached pictures showing that the curved trigger M&Ps have a slide stop/release which is nearly flush with the sides of the pistol.

In the case of the flat-faced optics ready pistols they have extended the surface area by changing the geometry of the slide stop / release to no longer be flush with the pistol. This may create mechanical advantage for manipulation of the pistol though it leads to the problem shown in the last two photos where the slide stop/release gouges into the holster and in turn the holster scrapes finish off the metal.

To resolve this the design needs a mini tunnel for the slide release. The Holosun 507c X2 also scrapes against the 2 sweatshield wings a small amount. This could be alleviated with widening the gap by 1-2mm.

This would prevent rubbing against the rubber gasket for the battery compartment since the edge of the wing is right at the same level. The trigger is completely enclosed and has great retention. I am not worried about the pistol coming out unless I draw it.

The concealability is top of the line and rides very close to the body when paired with an appropriately rigid gun belt. It would be great if they made this in a dedicated 4-in version that was nicely finished off rather than having to buy a 4.

24 inch version then cut it down ourselves so that we don’t have unnecessary muzzle length.

So first things first I love the total eclipse 2. 0. Truly. easily my favorite holster ive ever had Its comfortable. when used IWB at the 5 o clock position the weapon is invisible even in relatively form fitting shirts.

the mod lok is inspired. I run the belt clips exclusively but the ability to flip the clips around and switch from OWB to IWB in seconds is brilliant. The only real gripe I have after about a month of use is that the mod lok system is creaky.

When I move you can hear audible creaking noises from the belt clips flexing in the mod lok groves, but at the end of the day this doesn’t impede the holster at all and it doesn’t really bother me but ill still probably try to figure out how to make it not do that.

There is a real issue with the Sig 228/229 version of the total eclipse though. The RMR cut on the Sig 228/229 model isn’t deep enough to actually accept a sight bearing Sig 229. I own a Sig M11-A1 (basically the government model of the P229) and I also own a P229 Legion RXP which has a Romeo1Pro on it from factory.

Unfortunately even though the holster has an RMR cut, it still forces the slide out of battery when the legion is holstered because the cut isn’t deep enough down the holster to not hit the sight. Now this isn’t really the end of the world since it is back in battery once drawn but it is a bit annoying that the weapon doesn’t have positive retention since its fighting the slide spring when holstered.

My M11, however, fits perfectly and doesn’t have these issues and since the M11 is what I’m carry on a daily basis that’s what I really cared about when buying this but its worth mentioning for anyone who does carry with a sight.

The new design of the belt clips is disappointing because you can’t customize the cant as much as you could the older style. Even if you pay more for the FBI cant, the new style doesn’t allow you to put the holster on while already wearing a belt.

You have to remove your belt with almost all of the new belt clips in order to put the holster on or take it off, with the exception of only one set of the clips. However, that one set doesn’t allow you to modify how the holster is canted.

So either you get the cant you [might] want or you remove your belt every time you need to remove the holster. I constantly have to remove mine to go into places that don’t allow weapons and I don’t want to have to get undressed in the parking lot to do so.

This new design is a step back in my opinion and I wish I had the option of getting the older clips that came with my Sig P320 holster I bought a couple of years ago. I now have a couple of belt clips that I paid more for in order to be able to customize how the holster is canted that I will never use because I can’t easily take the holster off or put it on while I’m dressed.

I really only bought them because the pictures on the site were very limited on how the holster attached to the belt. Had I known that this was going to be like this, I would have purchased something different.

Honestly, they messed up a perfectly good holster with the new “tool-less” design. Aside from the actual part that clips to the belt and the loss of cant customization, the kydex holster itself is still a very good holster.

Maybe I can remove the belt clip assembly altogether, throw some velcro on it and velcro it somewhere.

This has been the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever used. It Has great retention and it doesn’t dig into your skin. It is completely adjustable and customizable.

My only complaint is when the HC is holstered. If you slightly wiggle the gun it turns the safety off. I honestly didn’t know this when ordering. I was looking at another brand that actually mentuon in big red letters not for manual safety models.

When I went to check this on my new holster is when I discovered this. At this point I’m not sure if this is really an issue. But was the only negitive issue I have. Everything else is pretty awesome.

I have three others for other firearms we own.

Very nice holster at its price point. It is comfortable, but better against a shirt. Edges are clean. Retention secure. Clip is a polymer and easy to put on and off, but durability is unknown. This is not a tuckahoe holster.

So far this is a good, quality made holster. All of the edges are smooth and retention is good with a solid “click” when holstered. Really like the 0*-30* cant which allows for me to wear it at any position.

Haven’t been a big fan of kydex holsters in the past but the Amberide is changing my mindset on that. Will be back to purchase mag holster next!.

Excellent holster, fit my P365 very well, fit comfortably with one exception that I took care of. The upper inside part that is next to the top of the slide was flared out a little and chafed my skin when worn.

I used a heat gun and folded the little flared portion and blended it to match the contour of the holster, no more chafing. The holster rides well, retention is good and the kydex makes re holstering a breeze.

I bought it for a Glock Model 45, 9 mm and it didn’t fit. The Model 45 is basically a model 19 slide on a model 17 frame. I tightened the adjustment screw all the way but the firearm would fall out. I returned it and Relentless Tactical quickly refunded my money.

They are a great company. I only wish the holster would fit my Glock Model 45, 9 mm.

I have a S&W MP Shield, 9mm, EZ Performance Center. I don’t know if that makes a difference, but I can’t get my weapon out of the holster. I’ve loosened the Rentention Adjustment and used gun oil inside.

It snaps in place, but I can’t get it out again. My husband has trouble with it also. It takes him about 10 minutes, when he got it out,and put it back in, there was another struggle. There is no way I can get my weapon out no matter how long I struggle.

It feels to tight. Do you think a leather or suede would fit better? I have a belly band, want a inside waistband holster also. Please help.

I have been wearing this holster everyday for the last couple days and it is a really well made holster for the money. The only complaint I have is the retention clips are made out of metal, and dig into my hand every time I go for something in my pocket.

I wear it on my right hip as that is where I am most comfortable drawing from. Other then that I love it. I just wish the clips were made out of a less aggressive material.

I have 4 holsters for my Taurus PT111 G2. This is hands down my favorite of all of them. So much so that I will order one for my Canik TP9SA. The fit is perfect, it’s comfortable to wear and the craftsmanship is excellent.

On top of that they also made it to fit the Armalaser I have installed on the lower rail. Thank You for making “Made In America” continue to stand for quality!!!!.

I have purchased A IWB Wethepeople holster for everyone of my pistols except for two that are to large and I bought OWB We The People holsters for them. I collect firearms and have a lot of pistols and love the holsters!! I recommend them to all of my friends and they have purchased them and also are extremely happy with them!! I bought 2 holsters from here one was perfect the other was not. And the customer service through a person named Ashley was horrible. One thing they don’t tell you on the site and until there’s already a problem is the type of gun you have changes how the print on a holster will look and for the printed holsters they only model it in 1 gun so if your gun is not the one they’re modeling then beware your holster will show up differently, a different gun will make the print appear differently.

For example I bought the Trump make America great again holster where the MAGA box appears on the bottom and fully viewable. But for my Springfield XDS 3. 3 the MAGA Box comes in the very middle of the holster completely covered by the belt clip.

When I explained to customer service that they need to put an information box on their site stating these things or make images available of every model of gun in every printed holster and that it is false advertising and I don’t believe I should have to pay for shipping and handling because of there false advertising and failure to explain on the website that different guns completely change the prints on the holster, I was met with attitude and hung up on by the customer service lady.

After getting the manager involved I was able to get a full refund with them paying for shipping and handling. All that being said the quality of the holsters was decent and the thin blue line holster that did appear as advertised I was very happy with and would give 5 stars.

I was disappointed though that the Trump holster did not work out and the way the customer service lady handled it with both of those reasons deserving 1 star so I will even it out at 3 stars.

The kydex is made in China not USA. Quality is poor as needed to do several exchanges as their molds have been used so much they have shrunk and will Mar you fire arm. Bought another set of Holsters ran into the same problem iwanted to exchange but they told me could not as I never returned the previous.

I supplied evidence the items were returned however they cannot fix their records don’t buy from this company as they will just mis handle and lose your orders assuming you actually receive it.

The holster that I received is very well made. My pistol fits perfectly. Once adjusted to my preference, the resistance to removal is sufficient to hold my pistol in place while walking and running, and light enough not to impede my draw.

There are two features that I had to alter in order to use this holster for EDC duty. 1. There was a portion of the inside panel that was too tall. It interfered with my draw. I used a Dremel tool to cut the offending portion away and now I can draw unimpeded.

2. the belt loops are positioned too far down on the holster so that they are well below the center of gravity. The effect is that the pistol grip tilted away from my side excessively. I fabricated new loops and the problem is corrected.

I have two more holsters on order with new loops and a Dremel at the ready.

I much prefer the design of the LightDraw to a paddle holster. The ride height and shape of the LightDraw makes for an extremely comfortable carry option that keeps everything tight to your body with minimal bulk.

To be an OWB holster, the LightDraw is extremely concealable. Although the retention is adjustable, I found that it was perfect for my Sig P226 Legion right out of the box. I will be purchasing several more for my various Glocks and Springfield XDm pistols.

I hope that Vedder makes some options for Polymer 80 and Grey Ghost Precision type frames in the LightDraw platform in the near future. If they do, I will be buying a few of those as well. I would recommend the LightDraw to anyone looking for a quality OWB holster that is comfortable, concealable, and with excellent retention.

I’ve used many different holsters for concealment with varying results. This is the first Crossbreed that I’ve tried, and so far I have been very happy. The first thing I noticed it is fits my handgun pretty close to perfectly.

it holsters and unholsters easily, yet retains well enough where I can turn the holster upside down and it still holds the gun perfectly (yes I tried unloaded over a cushion) I also find this to be the most comfortable IWB holster that I’ve tried.

no metal touches my skin, and having the dual belt clips helps spread the load out making it easy to forget that I’m wearing it. Granted this is still a fairly new holster, but initial impressions are great.

Comfortable, fits and holds well at a reasonable price.

I purchased this holster for my Glock 43. Retention is great, no need to adjust. I would definitely recommend this IWB holster to anyone looking for a great, well built holster. Also to note, the leather backing allows for easy re-holstering.

I have tried other brands of IWB holsters that have a soft backing, and it is near impossible to re-holster the firearm due to the backing collapsing towards the kydex.

After having and trying numerous holsters, this is very comfortable. By far the most comfortable holster I have tested. In fact, I don’t even know it’s on and reach back and sure enough, the pistol is there.

Be careful you don’t forget it’s there and walk-in somewhere you shouldn’t. So glad I found this.

I have two Crossbreed holsters, one for each of my P365 and P365XL. The quality and fit is excellent and very comfortable. The main reason I give them a 4 instead of 5-star rating is because I am a big person and the leather backing forms nicely to my body, but because I am big, as the leather has broken in, it has a tendency to “collapse” the holster and makes it almost impossible, if not potentially dangerous, to re-holster after I’ve drawn it.

I think if they went a little more hybrid running a full kydex holster for retention of shape and function, attached to the premium leather backing for comfort. This would only add around an eight of and inch or less to the overall width of the holster.

I do love the Crossbreed holsters, just that one fix and they would be perfect. :).

I think the Kydex Hybrid was made well, and it would serve the purpose but I just didn’t like the feeling of the back of the holster. Maybe it’s me not being used to a full kydex holster? I can’t say anything really negative about the holster but it just wasn’t for me.

Great fit, good quality. Fit, form and function

I really like the design of the holster itself but not so much the belt retaining clip. It will probably work fine with a wide and thick belt but does not catch on a thin dress belt causing the holster to come out along with the gun when drawn.

This makes the holster unusable on thin narrow belts. Redesigning the retention clip to go between the pants and belt similar to the Galco Tuk-n-Go would surely correct this issue and make the holster useable with a wide variety of belts.

I implemented a workaround by reversing the belt retaining clip so the retaining lip faces outward and sliding the clip between the pants and belt so the belt pressure would keep the lip from jumping over the belt when drawing the weapon.

Not the best solution with the current clip design since this puts additional stress on the clip mounting point at the holster. It does work and allows the weapon to be successfully drawn without bring the holster along with it.

I would expect a slight redesign of the retaining clip so it could be used either way is possible and would greatly enhance holster use with a variety of belt types. Hopefully this was helpful and makes sense to your holster designer/makers.

I really love blade tech products, however this one I unfortunately didn’t. I felt that the holster sat too high up on the belt as to lean outward making the 365 a lot more noticeable under the shirt.

I wish it had some sort of retention claw that pushed it into the body a little more. I am on the heavier side, so that may be that this is for fit people only. I also understand it being higher to allow for a better, easier grip if having to pull out; however with how much more noticeable it was I’d much rather go back to my Glock19 as it sat more comfortably & imprinted less.

Don’t let this discourage you from their products, the return was SUPER easy & I absolutely LOVE all of their other holsters & mag carriers so far that I’ve purchased. Perhaps their cheaper 365 holster would be better at that price point, but this one is definitely not for how expensive it is.

Why hasn’t someone designed this holster long before now? I work black ops and many times I really struggle to conceal carry my Sig Sauer P365 XP. Sincerely I forget I am armed hot unless I just happen to readjust my pants.

The Nano holster do not have a point edge on the holster any where. Easily worn for this 12-18 hour shifts. I love it. I own 15-18 IWB of mixed manufactured, no others come close. I have honestly sold more than a dozen Ninos and 7 Blade Tec 2.

2 stars because it is comfortable and well made. However, it fails at conceal ability. The padding on this holster makes my 43x print more than my 27 with a 23 mag. This was purchased with the intent to wear concealed with light clothing.

I have OWB holsters that conceal better than this holster. Thus, for me, this holster was a waste of $ for its intended purpose.

This holster is crafted with quality materials and it is comfortable to wear. However it tends to roll forward creating an obvious ”print” in the front of my shirt(s). I’m not sure if the holster is out of balance for my G26 or is it my expanding waistline?.

Quality made item. Holster is stiff and will not soften up. So if you want something not as hard then choose a different model. Otherwise no complaints. Very well made.

The holster fits and looks great. I stayed with just plain black since I wanted it IWB carry, with the claw system. I actually took it to the range today and tested it out, and as I expected, it worked just fine.

However, as a matter of personal preference, I’m going to try fitting a metal belt clip versus the plastic one it came with. The plastic clips are just way too thick for me. Admittedly, all of the kydex holsters I’ve bought (and this is the second one from Concealment Express – first one for my Canik TP9FSX), come with this thick, bulky and ugly belt clip.

Yes, I’ve replaced them all with metal clips. A thin, unobtrusive metal clip would have made this holster perfect – for me anyway.

My XD-M elite fit perfectly in this. I added the claw to help with printing, but obviously a gun this big is hard to hide without some bulky clothing. The holster does it’s job, locks the gun in place well, and seems very durable.

Seamless process. Beautiful fit and function. Extremely satisfied! Will return.
