This is the the best seasoning i ever tried for Italian beef. We make Italian beef in a crock pot add some cloves of garlic and some peppers, and use chicken broth, in place of water. Makes excellent beef for sandwiches or even on mashed potatoes.

When the beef has been eaten, the leftover broth is used to make bell pepper soup. They are both great.

Very good! I’ve used this on beef and now pork chops. Great on both. I put pork chops in a baking dish with this on top and added some chicken broth in the bottom. Then I covered with foil and slow cooked turning once.

Turned out amazing.

I tend to be a “homemade†seasoning type of guy but I decided to venture out and try some Meat Church rubs. This honey hog had a great flavor and it will definitely be apart of my Arsenal for here on out.

The subtle sweetness from the honey powders really complemented the coarse pepper within. Highly recommend.

Just made a delicious prime rib in the smoker with this rub and I have to say that it is so delicious! The large pepper flakes in the blend allow for better smoke adhesion. And the flavor is by far better than other rubs I have tried.

Next up. I’m going to make a texas style brisket with this!.

OMG this rub. It’s incredible – it is officially my favorite rub. The flavor profile is incredible; a little sweet, a little spicy and just has made everything I’ve put it on taste sooooo much better.

A must for pellet grill cooking! Love it!.

Somehow, all of my family likes this one. A picky husband, a finicky daughter, and a VERY finicky son – we all like this one. I’m kind of blown away there is any hiking food we all like – we can’t even get that to happen at home in our kitchen! It is not the most flavorful meal, perhaps that’s why my kids like it – but it also has no offensive textures or flavors as happens with some hiking meals.

I also did not feel like I was ingesting enough sodium to kill me before I got home, although, like pretty much every option on the trail, there is in fact a lot of sodium – but at least it doesn’t taste like it! Will definitely buy again and it will be a meal we bring always to ensure there is something for everyone.

If you’re backpacking, especially if you’re backpacking with a bear canister, you can’t beat this meal’s calories to volume ratio (it re-packed smaller than some 600 cal meals!), and it tastes great to boot.

It’s worth the price. Like other reviewers said, give it a few stirs prior to eating — with only a cup of water in there you need to move all the pasta around to give it time to rehydrate. Besides that, it rehydrated/reheated well, tasted great, and was so much easier to finish than many other high-cal meal options.

When repackaging this for my bear canister I added a shake of garlic powder for good measure–in hindsight the flavor was excellent so I probably didn’t need extra garlic, but it didn’t hurt!.

Cricket and Tigger, sisters on the AT, really enjoy this meal. It took surprisingly little water to make. As others have written be sure to stir well when water is first added. A second stir would have eliminated the few slightly over al dente noodles near the top we experienced.

We split this 2 serving package and also made a package of ramen noodles to split while we waited for the Peak to cook. We came off the trail wicked hungry. Eight ounces of soup each and splitting the Peak main course were perfect.

I enjoyed feeding my dog Nutro SO SIMPLE Adult Chicken & Rice Recipe Natural Dry Dog Food. She liked it a lot. The size and shape of the food was perfect for her small mouth. I absolutely love that it is made with non-gmo ingredients, no artificial preservatives and no chicken by-product meal.

It makes me feel like my dog is getting real ingredients not a bunch of junk fillers. Comparing the guaranteed analysis on this bag compared to the brand we usually buy our dogs this is lacking in everything.

Significantly lower vitamin E for example. Due to how much is lacking there compared to the food we usually buy that is why I rated this a 4 instead of a 5. The bag was also not easy to understand how to open.

My dog Piper (12 year old chihuahua and corgi mix) has been eating prescription dog food for two and a half years. On a weekend trip, I forgot to bring her food and bought this since it was most similar to her current food.

She has become a different dog in just two days. She will not stop begging me for this food and she eats it dry (I usually have to add a little bit of water to her prescription food and she still won’t eat it).

She loves this so much and it has made her more energetic (and also hilarious). Her prescription food is bigger and stinks like cabbage. She is never interested in eating it unless I turn it into a game (and I don’t always have time for that!) I will be calling my vet about making a permanent switch to this food.

Great pepperoni especially since it doesn’t contain chicken which I’m allergic to. It’s the only pepperoni I can eat. Glad they make this available because I love pepperoni! The only brand I buy.

Really tasty pepperoni. I love that this is the cheaper brand but tastes the same as the more pricey brands. These are great to eat out of the package and they are a great addition to homemade pizza.

We enjoy the value of these Pepperonis and they are good enough to eat by themselves. Best to also place them on a microwave plate and microwave for 1 minute and eat as hard pepporni chips. Great for Keto!.

If you read any of my reviews, you will see they all point to my daughter’s taste. This is no exception. I don’t know where she first had beef jerky, but she shocked me when she asked me to buy it for her.

I was even more surprised when she asked me to pack it for her for snack for school and was skeptical that she would actually eat it. Well, joke is on me! This is heavily in the snack rotation. Love jack links original Jerky for weekends at the camper, snack on the road, or maybe for work. Increases my protein intake. Keep an eye on your daily sodium intake with any jerky. Jack links is tasty.

It is cooked so that it is a bit drier which I love. I don’t think Jerky should be soft or juicy, not what jerky is about and I find that gross. Once you’ve opened the value packs though, I find it can’t be left all that long without tasting different.

This is the best jerky ever. I buy this by multiple bags especially around Christmas. My two boys live it and expect it amongst their Christmas gifts. It is a great quick gift, just in case you forget someone, throw this at them.

I always give my landlord a bag at x-mas and he is 80 yrs old and loves it. Buy more than one bag, the person you forgot the gift for will thank you and ask to be forgotten next time just to get a bag.

Excellent blend of flavors. Chewy without being tough. I’m not a jerky fan, but this product has become a favorite. Although more expensive per ounce than the larger size, this is the one to store for your emergency food reserve, as you’d need refrigeration after three days to preserve the larger size.

Use-by date is about 13 months, so be sure to rotate your packets out yearly if using these as part of your emergency food reserve.

The first bag of this product I bought over Thanksgiving in the Springfield store was hands down awesome. So with that in mind, I bought several bags on the internet to give to family members basically as stocking stuffers for Christmas, which of course I bought several bags for myself as well.

However, I have noticed the strips are wet inside the bag with a sweet marinade like substance, which I don’t particularly care for. My preference is a dry jerky type piece of meat not wet inside the bag.

In closing, what I thought was going to be the best steak strips on the market turned out to be fair (OK) at best.

I really like the taste and quality of this meat. I use to buy the store brand. But as of lately, it just has not been up to my standards. I chose this brand because I looked up the company’s website to see how well there farm was.

I am very satisfied with the texture and taste.

Not oily, very light. It tastes very good and I like how I can cook it and there’s not a lot of oil to drain. I actually didn’t drain because there wasn’t any! Small package perfect for just me. when I say it’s light it truly is fresh and easy to cook.

Lacks the smell that others said. I love using it for my chili and tacos.

We have had really good experience with this, and have not got a bad package yet. Some people report gristle and a bad smell. I have not had that once out of 15 packages of the past year. We are a bit particular too.

Maybe it depends on your store location, their source, and how it is handled (kept very cold)? I’d say try it.

Good flavor and easy to eat. As long as you remember what you’re buying, you won’t be disappointed. The flavor is good, but kind of has that ‘shelf-bread’ taste, and they’re definitely better heated, but not bad cold.

The wrap is actually more like a tortilla than a pita because of handling, but for something that I can throw in my truck and eat a couple of months or a couple of years later (yes, I’ve done that), it’s unbelievably good.

I repurchase this, and most of the other Bridgford RTE Sandwiches whenever I get low so I don’t run out.

These were much better than expected. Obviously not a gourmet meal, but ideal for hunting lunch. Surprisingly filling for their size, but not bulky or particularly dense or heavy either. Good flavor considering what they have to do to them to make them last.

Great snack for hiking! Tastes pretty good and easy to just open and enjoy. Does have a lot of bread around the filling, but that probably helps it to last 3 years unopened. Its all good calories unless your on a salt restricted diet.

I like lydia’s recipes, but there are not enough photos of the finished product. Everybody I showed the book too, said the same thing I said, aww not enough pictures. I watch Lydia’s TV show because she is very particular with how she does things, but then she puts out a cookbook with no pictures.

I received this gift box for Christmas but it was not in a birthday box. I usually don’t go out of my way to look a product up to review it but in this case I made an exception because of the quality.

I was planning on giving it two stars until I seen the price. All the cheese is processed and tastes nasty will also not even melt in oven just turns to soft plastic. The summer sausage had so much extra fat and grease it made a mess when trying to cut.

I was able to rinse the sausage off with hot water and use it as dog treats. The cheese I just trashed. Surprisingly the mustards were the best part, hot mustard was good but the pineapple mustard I would purchase on its own.

I have had several different sets like these over the years some even cheap off brand ones but found them to be at least mostly edible. If I had spent $50 and bought this myself I would have felt conned and been very upset.

I probably would NOT recommend this product to a friend. I’m located in South Orange County in California and purchased this Charcuterie because I always wanted to try one. They look so fun. I basically purchased this as a Christmas gift to myself.

I purchased it online and everything went as planned. I’ve ALWAYS loved Hickory Farms but it is pricey. Typically I go to The Mall where they have a booth during the holiday season and right near the end everything goes on a wonderful sale.

I found the other low ratings and descriptions of the product to be in line with my own experience. I’d like to add that I taste zero seasoning in these “seasoned” “ground beef” discs. I tried cooking these pucks at least three different ways and they tasted no bueno time after time.

I even tried putting my own seasonings and sauces onto these coasters, yet they always seemed to REPEL anything I added! What the heck? Also, why do these become oblong shaped after cooking? Not a big deal compared to the lack of taste, but still weird.

I bought these for moms 78th Birthday party. There was a lot of no shows, so I had at least half the box left over and thawed. When I got home I decided to fry it up then freeze it cooked. I kinda crumbled it up and let me tell you I’ve never ever seen hamburger like this.

I was literally so grossed out I end up throwing it all away and vowed to never buy them again. I’d prefer to pay the extra for a better quality. I love most products I get from Sam’s club but this is not one of them.

I highly recommend this product for those looking for low sodium quick meals. I have had other versions 9f Italian beef that were way too salty. I was pleasantly surprised by this meal.

One of my new favorite things to make when I’m short on time. I’ve noticed the price go up to like 9 and change in my area. I love this with fresh pasta and Raos Alfredo sauce. Its so good and it goes great with potatos and i love the sauce, its very savory and so versatile.

I know some days are going to be long, I’m going to be tired, and I’m not going to feel like fixing dinner at the end of it. For a delicious meal, I toss in a bag of Cooked Perfect frozen meatballs, spaghetti noodles, jar of pasta sauce, and cup of water into my crockpot on low for 9-ish hours.

When I arrive home, my main dinner portion is complete! We have a hot, delicious, stick-to-your-ribs meal. I add a bagged salad and rolls, and it looks like I spent the afternoon in the kitchen.

Awful, I am asking for a refund. These are spongy, soft tasteless and have a smooth gummy texture that in no way resembles real meat. Even with a good tomato sauce it is hard to get down. There should be minus stars.

I follow a “mom4real” recipe using these meatballs to make Swedish meatballs. They’re perfect appetizer for parties, and over egg noodles are perfect for dinner. Super easy to make too. I highly recommend this brand specifically.

We have been purchasing Members Mark beef meatballs to feed our growing family for several years – they were always delicious! However, the new recipe, while gluten free, makes several other compromises that diminish the product.

The meatballs are smaller now than they used to be and their flavor relies more on the seasonings – resulting in a garlic flavor that overpowers the taste of the beef. Additionally, they are greasier and when we make marinara sauce with them there is a layer of grease at the top – this never happened with the old meatball recipe.

Agreed with other reviewers that the texture is more gritty with occasional very small bone/cartilage pieces. Unfortunately, the means the previous tender and juicy consistency is gone. We will miss the old experience and will use another local grocery store brand in the future.

Cooked these two ways between last night and today. Made a pot of red sauce and added meatballs in the crock pot for a couple of hours. Meatballs absorbed the flavor of the sauce and are very tender and tasty.

Today, I did a batch in the air fryer. They crisped up nicely and were still tender the inside. Flavor was a bit bland on their own with no sauce so I sprinkled with some Tony Chachere’s and they were very good.

They do produce a fair amount of fat but that’s to be expected with all beef product. I drained the air fryer ones on a paper towel so no big deal there. I used sliced bread to absorb the fat off the top of crock pot sauce with meatballs.

Overall, they are better than what I used to buy a few years back.

I thought these were great. I was a little hesitant buying these with some recent reviews stating they had cartilage and/or bone fragments in them. Well, I test drove six meatballs in a hoagie, and they were really good.

There was no issue with foreign objects whatsoever. The rest of the meatballs will be turned into cranberry-bbq-coctail meatballs in a crockpot for Xmas Eve. Also, I did not find them overly spicy as some others lamented.

I have used these meatballs in several ways. First, I added them to my favorite pasta sauce with some garlic powder and allowed them to slow cook for about an hour. The sauce and the meatballs blended well and were quite tasty.

Another time, I used my favorite pasta sauce and added the meatballs, cut up sweet potatoes, frozen peas, corn niblets, chopped onions, mixed vegetables, a teaspoon of chili powder and one tablespoon of sugar.

I slow cooked this mixture for about one hour until everything blended well. This soup/stew was delicious, and the meatballs were really good. I think slow cooking in a favorite sauce enhances the flavor and texture of these meatballs, so I don’t cook them in a microwave, on a stovetop or in an oven to eat “as is.

I’ve been a fan of this meatballs since the first time I tried them. They are a fixed in my Target shopping list and I always have a bag or two in my fridge. Here’s my recipe: In a pan, I add 2 spoons of olive oil.

Then season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and some red pepper flakes. Then I put in the meatballs (as many as I want and after being de frozen in the microwave). I sauté them for a while and then add a jar of (Again, that depends of how much sauce do you want to prepare).

Cook it for a while and then pour it over my favorite pasta. I love rotini, but spaghetti is fine. Everybody loves this recipe at home, even at work. But let’s not stop at pasta. You can used the meatballs in a million recipes, or eat them alone.

I frequently purchase GoodGather products and until this item have always been happy. Compared to Target’s other meatball product these are very small. But the taste makes them a no-go. I literally spit out my one and only bite.

They are not edible. Cannot remember when I’ve tasted anything so horrible.
