I had only been taking this product for a few days when I realized it was making me quite gassy and in the worst way possible. It was quite odiferous and very unpleasant gas. After a few days I started becoming constipated.

I really had high hopes for this product as it’s a twice-a-day dosage instead of once a day like some others, but I guess I need something even easier on my stomach. As for the packaging, yes, each tablet is individually wrapped.

I’m not sure how necessary it is, but it’s possible that the pills might start to break down if exposed to air and friction from rubbing against the other pills or being touched with the oils from your hand.

So I’d rather the individual wrapping if the pills would start getting all sticky if piled together in one bottle. Health food manufacturers don’t often have their products in excessive packaging for no reason as extra packaging costs everyone more.

From a practical standpoint, they are a little annoying to open each time, especially since you’re supposed to take them twice a day, but it is easier for portability as you can just tear off however many pills you need for the day or week or however long if you know you won’t be home for an extended period of time to take them.

Doc’s orders, I started taking these and started feeling so much better in just a couple of days. I was dragging around and tired all the time. When I tried to get them again they were out of stock so I got the Nature Made brand which had the next best reviews.

They are NOT the same. The Nature Made did NOTHING for me. I went back to tired and sluggish. I found the Spring Valley in stock again and grabbed a bottle. I can tell a difference after just one day.

This iron supplement tastes disgusting but it has really helped with my anemia (I get lab work every 3 months, my hemoglobin has gone up since I started taking this 3 months ago). All you taste is pure gross metal.

I prefer taking sublingual iron because iron that you swallow hurts my stomach/gives me cramps and gas. I let it disslove, drink a few sips of water, rinse my mouth out and brush my teeth to get rid of the awful taste.

Was looking for a gentle iron pill (as suggested by my midwife) and wanted to try these. No where in the website product description does it say “not to be taken while pregnant”, however when it opened the box right on the label it says you can’t take these pills of pregnant.

So it sort of was a waste of money. Luckily I was able to give them to my sister who is taking them and says they have helped bring up her hemoglobin counts.

Good product and effective. D3 levels are testing good. Quality control could be checked better, regarding the uniformity and size of tablets received recently, that were either broken or seemed to have melted somewhat.

I personally just love these vitamins, I always recommend them. They might not be the easiest to swallow, but you can’t really taste them! These are the only vitamins you need. The Rainbow Light Ones are one a day so you only need one, one and done, and you see what you’re getting, its a green tablet, they’re vegetarian.

I had other issues at the beginning of my pregnancy with prenatal, I basically had to buy a bottle and toss it or return it(if possible) after a day or two. others would enhance morning sickness, or just make me feel yucky, issues, constipation, you name it.

These iron supplements were wonderful when I was pregnant with my twins. Twin pregnancy requires additional vitamins and minerals than a singleton pregnancy, so I had to supplement iron beyond what my prenatal vitamin provided.

I tried other types of iron, including ferrous fumarite, but they caused horrible constipation. Prior to taking these supplements I had to take stool softener every day. These supplements are made with iron bisglycinate, which my body tolerated much better.

My maternal fetal medicine doctor was always impressed by my red blood cell count because many people who are pregnant with twins have low RBC and/or anemia. If you were experiencing constipation with other types of iron supplements I’d recommend trying these.

I have already purchased this product twice! I discovered that my iron was low in July and bought some cheap iron at the supermarket just to get something. I switched to Pink Stork when my sister told me about it and I researched that the formula they use is more easily absorbed.

This iron is gentle enough for me to take with my lunch. Then I take my prenatal with dinner. I had been low iron and noticed that my levels went up a whole lot faster taking the Pink Stork product than the cheap stuff I bought with tons of fillers and who knows what! This is highly absorbable.

I love that it have vitamin C with it. I take even more just for added effect and immune support. I am so thankful to finally not be iron deficient! I still take the lunch time iron to make sure my levels stay stable.

I will add that for me, I cannot take the extra iron with the prenatal, it is gentle, but it is still iron! Though, my friend can take double at once and is fine.
