20 Best Iron On Clothing Labels (2023 Updated)

I wish I would’ve been able to find these when my kids were younger!nThese are really convenient for keeping up with kids clothes, if they have sports equipment, jackets, or uniforms these are a great way to identify their stuff.

Also, when they grow out of said item, you can remove the labels & consign/sell/give to sibling or friend, upcycle, or donate without that personalization being forever inscribed on the material. Our daughter went thru clothes regularly bc she had alot of growth spurts as a kid, versus one or two.

I was tasked with the need to consign alot of her clothes that were barely worn but had her intitals on the material so I couldnt simply return them. Writing her initials on the clothes made value decrease alot! These would’ve been the best option for us and saved me alot of hassle! They would’ve been extremely helpful & would’ve allowed us to even return clothes that never fit to begin with, or fit when we bought them but by the time she got around to wearing them, no longer fit.

I can think of several other ways these could be used, if you have multiple kids around the same age, these would be helpful or if you are a foster parent, these could help you keep up with kids clothes.

These are easy to apply. Only need a few minutes and an iron, you could even stitch them on if you wanted, even though they say iron on labels, i see no reason why these wouldnt stay attached if you stiched them on.

These could also be great for personalizing blankets or items made by hand that you want personalized. Small business owners could use these for lots of things, could even sew them on with your logo if you have a few garments you wanted to sell in your shop.

These are very reasonably priced & not itchy or scratchy on the skin. They do last in the washing machine, I haven’t ironed over them after the first time I iron them on but I have used medium to low heat when I dried them and the labels don’t come off.

The only time I could see them not staying on is if you use a steam iron or dry clean clothes. I also haven’t used these on beach towels, so I don’t know how they’d hold up to salt water or pool water, but I imagine there wouldn’t be any more bleeding of letters than normal*.

*I would recommend using Sharpie pens, they don’t wash off nor do they bleed as much as Sharpie markers or other brands pens. These were gifted so I don’t know how easy these are to find at the store, but I imagine you could order them online thru Avery or a link majority of home/office supply stores.

These are great! I had shopped online for pre-printed labels but just couldn’t justify their price. Plus what if our little one no longer LOVED the character printed on the label, it would be the end of the world as we know it! These are perfect! I used a permanent marker (sharpie) to write the name, allowed the marker to sit so I didn’t smear it when adhering it to the clothing and viola! In the summer daycare does swim days so I labeled the swimsuit and towel and at the end of the swim season they were returned home and still look great! I also put on inside the school backpack! Obviously the backpack will not me washed like clothing however these hold up well to washing.

Just be sure to wait 24 hours as the instructions advise before washing. I would highly recommend!.

My 3 year old started Preschool at the beginning of the year and was just starting potty training, so I had to send several sets of clothes with him each day. These labels have worked so well to make sure all of his clothing is labeled with his name.

You have to use a permanent marker (I used a fine tip Sharpie marker), and give it a sufficient amount of time to dry or it will smear. I placed the labels on the tags of most of his clothing, and they have withstood several washes now without issues.

This is such a quick, easy way to label items and they can be used for numerous things besides clothes. What a brilliant product!.

These are perfect. Super fast shipping too. I purchased these to iron in the back of my brother-in-law’s clothes that he has with him at assisted living facility. They are perfect. No more trying to write his name with a Sharpe.

The name on the label is perfect and easy to read. I will purchase more. I suggest these to anyone who has a loved one in a care facility, short or long term. This will stay on clothing, and his items will return to him after going through the laundry.

Sorry for a bad review,but its not Galloollc’s fault, they have no control over the USPS. It didn’t come in yet. It was suppose to have reached here on Feb 24, and today Feb 27, it still shows its in Florida.

Had to make shift name labels, to label my moms clothes. She just got admitted into a nursing home. I’ve seen such good reviews on these labels, hope when it arrives, and have a chance to use them, I have as good results as everyone else.

I’m using them with cotton items and well amd jeans and they stick and look sooo well! I like to do the ironing motion (side to side) to make them look even nicer rather than pressing them but not too much cuz they can get too hot and move side to side enough to leave a tiny glue mark so take it easy on the movement lol (this is for us beginners only using a regular iron.

I know there’s great tools out there for applying but I don’t have one). \n\n I just went thru my first 100 and I just re-ordered 300 more. She was also able to do a different font for me so even if you don’t see the font you want, just ask and Marlena might be able to still make it happen for you :).

I was looking for labels to use in my convention I needed something flexible durable and easy to write on with a sharpie because of Covid we had backed up badges from shows that were canceled so I needed to put a label over an old name but I didn’t want it to the paper it had to be durable.

Oh so I can see the impact of printing these labels and then iron them onto shirts to customize or into the labels of uniforms so that no one takes anybody else’s. It’s a product I’ve never seen before I am inspired by it and the friendly sales person at my local Office Depot pointed out to me and I wouldn’t of seen it otherwise.

These labels are ok – but only if what you are sticking them to are not going into a washing machine! Followed the instructions. Items worn and washed at the end of the week on a 30 wash, all labels have fallen off during the wash! Had issues with the iron on ones originally – some sticking for part or none of the time, and some staying put.

So I thought I would give these a go! Sadly 5. 50 wasted. I will not be purchasing again.

Well I purchased these for the dredded school uniform big labelling. I was pleasantly surprised that I could not pull the label apart even before it went on the clothes and I have washed items several times and still are as clear as first placed.

I opted out of a picture and went for just Bold plain black in a spaced out way where fornames were first Lina and surname was on second the labels were exactly as wanted and all central. I would highly recommend and will for my child’s next 7 years to come.

Lovely stickers. Perfect size for labelling clothing and have so far happily survived several washes and tumbles. Have also used them for labelling water bottles and Tupperware which have been through dishwasher and labels still attached.

They are cute small labels for little projects. I think they would look lost on a throw or larger project.

I absolutely adore these little gems. They are small woven clothing labels that can easily put on either by ironing them onto you clothing of choice or by sewing them on. I have to say that sewing would be a more permanent way to adhere the labels but I usually iron them on & that seems to work out just fine resulting in minimal work time to adhere these adorable labels to your clothing.

I’ve been learning to sew ever since I had my daughter. She is 7 months old now. I had a lot of hand made clothes growing up & now realize how much love went into those. I want her to have these one of a kind dresses, rompers, etc also so I use the made with love by mom labels.

I think they are a perfect touch to the outfit. She will always know that momma made those for her.

I’ve used Lovelabels for many years, and love them! They look neat, and since the words are woven in, there’s no problem with messy, bleeding ink–which is a major problem with the “write-on” labels that are similar to these.

The older ones are sew-ons, not iron-ons, but otherwise, they’re the same. I put them on pajamas, quilts, and anything else I make for my grandsons, and they like having “Grandma” on the label. I make lots of baby quilts and give them as gifts, and I put the labels that say “Made especially for you by ____” with my first name embroidered into the label.

I haven’t found any of those anywhere since I-can’t-remember-when. Thank goodness I bought several packages the last time I found them in a store.

Have had 3 to come off in washer after second washing. Kind of disappointed, hope no more come off. Like the design, went on good and looked neat. So we’ll see if any more come off.

They are really small and the type is very small. Also, they can crumble and start to come off in the wash.

Lots of design choices and really easily to personalise. Easy to apply to clothing care labels and they survive the washing machine and tumble dryer very well.

Actually, the order was partially incorrect. Supposed to get 9 patches that said “Made with love by Nana”. 3 of the 9 said “Made with love by Gramma”

These are the perfect labels for my father’s assisted living clothes. They go on in seconds and stay looking good after repeated washes. Very pleased!

The labels were very Legible. The lettering was bright and clear. They are easy to iron on clothing a d adhere very well.

I really like these! They work great especially because we have 5 kids with lots of uniforms and shoes. We get all the same stickers for the family and they really help for PE, play dates and camps where often most kids are all wearing the similar clothes or have a high tendency to lose something.

The labels are good quality and adhere well. I haven’t had any problem with them coming out. However, because my child’s first name is fairly common, I needed to have both first and last names on the labels.

The shoe labels came out great. However, the clothing labels were very small and with a long name (first name seven letters, last name ten letters), it’s difficult to read. I saw the preview, but it looked clearer there than it was when they came.

I would say that they should either increase the size of the clothing labels or limit the size of the name to something shorter.

Stickers stay on even when wet and yet they’re easy to remove without shredding. I’ve used these since my son was in kindergarten, now he’s in 8th grade. Would love a few more designs for older kids – because they still lose stuff! But they don’t want little kid stickers.
