Best Iptv For Indian Channels (2025 Updated)

I have had this Mi Box S for well over a year now and have owned a few other budget and decent streaming boxes, but can personally say this is the best budget streaming box available for the price. It’s renained my favorite over the years.

My only con is the small amount of memory it comes with compaired to other boxes. However, what those boxes don’t have is a certified Android TV OS, especially for the price, and in this sector, that is a huge plus.

So, that means the Android app store works without the need to install other programs or go to some shady website. It also means apps like Nexflix will run at their full possible resolution with no need to make download fixes or workarounds either.

This is a huuuuge plus if youre a set it and forget it kind of person, or setting this up for someone who’s not super technical. Basically, youre not stuck troubleshooting every time you turn it on like other budget boxes.

Other apks, like Kodi, Mobdro, Pluto TV, etc work well on here too, but you are limited to how much you can install due to memory size. If you dont plan on watching Netflix or other apps that require a certified Android OS to run, then you probably have better options out there like the X95, skystreams, and others.

However, for all you get from this box for the price you pay, it’s a real good deal, very powerful, well built, and pretty simple. I later found out Xiaomi is kind of a copy cat company over in China who copy a well know company over here with a fruit logo.

Though, turns out, their copies are actually pretty well built. After this Android box impressed me so much, I bought a Xiaomi A2 lite (cell phone) and it, again, was a surprisingly excellent device for the price.

How they’re able to put out what they do at the price point they put it out at is astonishing to me. So, anyway, in the end, nearing 2 years of ownership it still gets 5 stars from me. Pros: -Certified Stock Android OS (the real deal) -Works well with Google Home/Nest -Bluetooth Controller (not IR) with volume control -Personal pick for best all around no-nonsense budget streamer -True Netflix, Disney , other apps that need cert.

-Simple, no trouble ownership -Good quality build Cons: -Needs more memory -Wish it had a wired RJ45 port for internet.

I currently have a Nvidia Shield which is the Cream of the Crop as far as streming devices go, However I didn’t want to drop $150 for my sons room, after much research I went with this device, There are numerous other “android boxes” on the market but here is what makes this one the best.

* Google Certified, This device is actually approved by google * Updates, because it’s certified it updates when needed the knock off ones typically won’t update. *Specs are great for price point * Uses Android TV Platform (other devices might use the android operating system which is more difficult to use as it’s computer based) This device was easy to set up as long as you are somewhat tech savvy, operation is smooth and responsive.

I do recommend hardwiring this device which you can purchase an adapter for $12 for which will allow you to hook it up to a wired internet connection. A previous reviewer mention lagging with YouTubeTV most live services require a more reliable and stable connection which you will get when it’s tied directly to your router.

I use YoutubeTV on this without any issues Google Assistant works great, best part as it’s not tied to Amazon or Apple so it doesn’t push their own content to you 1st. It’s a truly unbiased system. Also because it’s android based you can download a ton off “off brand apps” that Roku has banished from there systems to get a full streaming experience.

Overall, you can’t really go wrong with this device for the price point you are getting a powerful little streamer that will update when needed and strong enough to not be upgraded every year.

In terms of speed and processing, there is no comparison to the NVIDIA Shield. However, this is the best bang for your buck. I have the NVIDIA shield on my own TV, and this box is very similar. Don’t expect any high level gaming or anything like that, but for a streaming now, with 4K HDR, and built in Chromecast Ultra, you cannot go wrong.

With android 8 installed out the box, there is nothing not to love. Its fast, responsive, and of course, you can side load any android app that you would like. The one thing it is missing is an Ethernet port (for wired internet connection).

It does have built-in WiFi. However, there is a USB port which I will use a USB to Ethernet adapter for wired internet connection. I highly suggest getting a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, as that is what I am using and it makes the experience that much more enjoyable.

Overall, compared with the top of the line NVIDIA box: Cons of the MiBox are that it is a little slower that the Shield TV, it is missing an ethernet port, and you cannot expect too much gaming performance out of the MiBox.

The biggest pro is the cost. The MiBox costs less than a Google Chromecast Ultra, and the fact that it has a built in Chromecast Ultra, along with an actual strong operating system and a dedicated remote, you have absolutely no reason to purchase a Chromecast when you can get this cheaper.

Alone I would rate this as a 4 star product, but comparing it to all the other android boxes on the market, you cannot go wrong at this price point, making this a 5 star.

I’ll completely admit that I’m a beginner at soldering and the instructions are very simple to follow. I bought most of my kit through PiHut including the “Third Arm” holder which I found invaluable when assembling it.

Gives you confidence to move on to larger soldering projects. As for the finished product itself, it is quite fun to use. I’ve used it a variety of EU TVs (Sony, Panasonic, LG etc) and they’ve all turned off within a second.

I doubt I’m allowed back in that store though, not for a moment that I’m suggesting you do this, but this was the acid test for me. Good value for money and the experience it gives you if you’re new to soldering is invaluable.

It’s an awesome product. Received it in a less than week, support team helped with all of the questions and I got all of the parts, as described. Assembly and soldering job didn’t take too much, approximately 20 minutes.

And well, it works properly and is something, you will have a lot of fun with, thank you! I recommend it to others, especially to those, who are starting with soldering, just make sure you have a good soldering iron.

Brilliant little kit – just needs its own enclosure that includes batteries and the board. Bit of a giveaway when you’re turning the telly off in pubs and you’ve got circuitry visible…

While this product is completely functional it turned out to be total inappropriate for my purposes. It plays all the usual online streaming sources very well, just like any smart TV powered by Android would, it even allows you to issue voice commands rather than slow typing with a virtual keyboard on screen.

However, I also wanted to attach a standalone HDD and play my content from there. What a nightmare to setup. The MI Box couldn’t initially read my drive, turns out it only reads FAT or exFAT (my disk was formatted on a MAC).

And even after I sorted that there is no default player app with the MI to view and play my HDD content, unbelievable! Turns out I have to download additional, rather average, 3rd party apps to view my HDD content and play, which was an awful experience.

They all struggled to give me the experience I wanted and in the end I gave up and just turned my desktop PC into a Plex media server and streamed to my Sony smart TV. So it pays to check the specs before hand, and just because it can read a HDD it doesn’t mean to say it supports all the formats, or provides a decent media playing app.

I am really happy with my decision to go with the Xiaomi TV Box and have had for around 3 weeks now. I wasn’t sure how I was going to enjoy this and tested out it’s capabilities until I got it, but was happy to take the risk.

I purchased this as a replacement to the Vodafone TV box I had. Whilst I am missing the ability to go back and watch pretty much any programme on demand up to 72 hours prior via the Vodafone TV box, I am happy with everything else.

Prime, Netflix, Neon, TVNZ+ and Three Now are easily downloadable and all play perfectly along with You Tube. I cast Prime to the box from my phone via the Sky Go App on my phone. The Sky Go APK does not work on this box.

You could therefore cast any other SKY Go content from your phone/tablet with ease too. I have also managed to load the BBC IPlayer; Channel 4 UK; Channel 5 UK and ITV Hub APKs and they all work fine on the box (and clearly) with the use of a VPN.

All very easy to load on there and use, with the use of a File Manager. Other than the functionality previously mentioned that I am missing by not having a Vodafone TV box any longer, I am further ahead than I was with the Vodafone TV box by now having the ability to download any compatible app from the Google Play store and add APKs for those apps not on Google Play.

Which are easily found through an internet search. Something I could not have done with Vodafone TV.

In approx November 2021 tvnz ondemand canceled their service to old tvs (cube and flat with no smart features). I was previously using a Freeview box that now still does allow live TV, but the ondemand shows are limited to just tv3 & Maori TV content.

This mi box allows an old TV to get many many apps like tvnz ondemand, Spotify, YouTube. The downside is that there’s no on light to register its on. The remote is very simple however has dedicated Netflix & prime tv buttons I don’t need.

Sadly can’t reprogram them to be a direct link to something I do use. I chose this mi box over the less expensive because it had the ability to also cast a cellphone. I haven’t tried this feature yet.

It took a short time to set up with instructions on screen including entering your wifi password (wifi is needed) and a Google account. After a month plugged in but not a huge amount of use as I don’t frequent TV much the device is working smoothly.

Beim SuperMicro ist nach einigen Sekunden schluss mit dem Stream, IBM startet mit NMI immer wieder neu. Tests stehen noch an beim HPE Servern, aber bin jetzt schon bereits start enttäuscht. Im Internet findet man einen Workaround mit “debug=7”, aber dieser füllt die Logs (innert einigen Minuten 500MB an Logs).

Ergo muss man die Logs filtern und artet somit in unnötige Zusatzaufwände. Für diejeingen die mit “Es ist für das Desktop konzipiert. “: Für Desktop braucht man kaum 4x Tuner, oder?.

IšverstiShow in original languageWhen I first set this up it was pixelating all of the time so I contacted Haupage and was given some instructions to follow carefully but first I noticed that my aerial had moved in its bracket so I corrected it and it seemed to ne ok though I didn’t watch it for long.

A few days later I set it to record a movie and when I came to watch it a few days later it was unwatchable with pixelation throughout. This aerial gives 100% perfect picture with no error on my tv’s.

Anyway I started again following haupages instructions to the letter and I jave now tried this at least 4 times with the same result every time. Unwatchable tv from an aerial that delivers perfect picture to my tv’s.

Really, absolute rubbish and I waited 6 months for delivery.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis quad ATSC-QAM tuner card works perfect. I bought it to replace a dual-tuner card in my desktop PC that I use as a media center PC (running Windows Media Center under Win7).

After plugging the card into a free PCI-e slot and powering up the PC, Windows 7 did not recognize the card by itself. But installing the drivers downloaded from the Hauppauge website fixed that problem.

After that, everything installed smoothly; the Hauppauge drivers were accepted by Win7 without protest, and WMC detected and installed the quad-card just fine. (after installing the card and drivers, you just run TV setup again from within WMC; it will find all four tuners) The signal sensitivity of the quad card is very good, even slightly better than my HD Homerun tuners.

I also tested this quad tuner card under windows 10 (I have a dual-boot Win7/Win10 installation on my PC) using Hauppauge’s WinTV 8. 5 application, downloadable from their site (the installation key comes included with the card).

THAT turned out to be a huge disappointment though. WinTV has a terrible user interface, and channel changes move at a snail’s pace (where under WMC it changes really fast so that is not a hardware issue but a WinTV app issue).

But what was worst, the WinTV app crashed on several occasions. It seems Hauppauge is a good hardware design company but software is not their thing. Still I give the card a 5-star review though, because I bought it to work with Windows7 WMC which it does perfect.

I don’t care about Hauppauge’s WinTV ap, so that part is irrelevant to me. So if you buy this card, use it with Windows 7 running Windows Media Center. To my opinion, WMC is still the best OTA TV/DVR app that is out there, even after almost 10 years.

The digital (ATSC) part of the card is perfect, so I have no complaints, since that was my primary purpose for the card. However, the analog part leaves a lot to be desired. This is not a problem with the seller.

His description is exactly correct, and describes the card perfectly. However, if the buyer doesn’t understand this card’s limitations, they may be disappointed. Please note that this is a hybrid card, which means that you can either record a digital (ATSC) signal, or an analog (NTSC) signal, but not both at the same time.

If you thought this would allow tuning of both simultaneously, you will be disappointed. In addition (and this is the part I missed), the analog (NTSC) has NO hardware encoding. It requires software encoding.

And since the card is sold without any software, that means you need to have the correct codecs on your computer, or you will not be able to record analog signals. And if you want to get these codecs from Hauppauge, you will need to pay for them, since they come with WinTV 7, which is not available for free.

Also, keep in mind that even when you have the correct codecs for analog encoding, this is a very CPU intensive process. If you are trying to put this in an older, single core system, you are going to be very disappointed in the performance.

With all that said, if all you want is a good TV tuner that captures modern, digital over the air (ATSC) television signals, then this card is PERFECT for you. enjoy.

WORKS BEST WITH WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER. IT COMES WITH IT’S OWN PROGRAM BUT IS LIMITED ON HAVING A CHANNEL GUIDE. IT COMES WITH TITAN TV LINK FOR A CHANNEL GUIDE, WHICH HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD. BUT WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER SHOWS IT BEING TIED TO IT BETTER.

THE REMOTE IS GOOD EXCEPT IT DOESN’T HAVE THE “. ” FOR INPUTTING CHANNELS DIRECTLY,SINCE EVERYTHING IS DIGITAL NOW, BUT NOT A BIG DEAL. THE REMOTE ALSO WORKS THE VOLUME CONTROL ON MY USB HEADPHONES SO THAT I DON’T HAVE TO USE MY MANUAL ONE.

GREAT FM CHANNELS TOO. AGAIN THE FM DISPLAYS BETTER IN WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER, AND YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE THE CHANNEL INFO THERE, ALSO. IT’S GREAT TO HAVE A DVR FUNCTION AGAIN WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY MONTHLY FEES AS WITH SATELLITE OR TIVO, ETC.

real nice product and easy to install. i am no stranger Hauppauge and they,re products. i owned one of they,re tv cards before for windows xp. the one for xp was not compatable with windows 7 and i have a better computer with a 1080p computer monitor so i bought this one and walmart’s price was around 10 dollars less than everybody else so i bought it.

real easy to install just make sure you buy a signal splitter from our electronics dept before install. alright no digital box needed this card actually decodes your digital signal right from your cable.

intergrates well with windows media center almost want to throw away my tv set. this card does what more expensive stuff does. deffently a great value. plus it records tv set this up as your dvr. i would match this up with a good gpu like a gtx 560 or 560 ti and up.

I purchased this device for my father to replace a Video Recorder which after 20 years wasn’t functioning. As a member of the older Generation he wasn’t Streaming his TV as most nowadays would do. Not to mention the fact, that his wireless didn’t have the capacity to stream much of anything.

The Initial Connection was simple. It works with both Digital and Analoge TVs. The owners Manual was easy to follow. One drawback, the System does not allow for the antenna Signal to pass through if not in use.

Which means whenever my father watches TV the tuner must be on. What I really like about the System is the electronic TV Guide to choose which Shows to record. Unfortunately my father is quite overwelmed by all the “additional” Information.

(Channel number, Name, date, etc. ) All it all, I would recommend it as such. Nowadays one is quite limited to which System can work.

Operation is logical and straightforward, initialization is slick, picture quality substantially improves, record feature (DVR) and playback work fine, high quality. The remote is small, difficult to get around on.

The remote’s signal is weak, often requires repeat entry, has to be held near the receiver. I switched batteries (AAA) so that is not the problem. I bought an external hard drive to store programs, but the unit would of course be more desirable if it had its own storage at presumably a higher price, maybe $20 more.

Have 2 old Magnavox DVD recorders that I use to record Over the air programs. Every now and then there are 3 shows on at the same time that I want to record; so this Terk HD recorder comes in very handy.

For the price I paid I figured it was a disposable device. I have been pleasantly surprised to find that all the recordings have been excellent (better quality than the other recorders}. I currently use a 32 gig 3.

0 thumb drive but I am looking for a 2-4 terabyte hard drive. The included Trinity amplified HDTV antenna was great bonus. Have never been disappointed with any of my purchases from Beach Camera. They are one of the few e-mail adds I look forward to.

– I have had a TV card before and was disappointed with them. This one is working well. I removed a wireless card form my Dell 7010 system with 16 GB ram and an i-7 running at about 3 GHz. I plugged in the TV Card and rebooted the system.

Windows 10 64 bit crashed upon boot and then recovered automatically and left the card without drivers. I probably should have installed them FIRST. I obtained the software which required a licence key that was, as I found out in the shipping container.

The software installed without issues and the TV functionality was working. – I used it with a $30 HDTV Over The Air (O. T. A) antenna without amplification and it works most of the time. There is a piece of software that came with it that allows you to see the R.

S. S. I of the TV station you are watching and can adjust your antenna for best reception. I use it in my office so antenna options are limited. – The audio comes through the computer as you may have already assumed and use a Logitech H-800 to listen and roam around the office.

If I am alone I use my Bose Solo to my pleasure. – I mostly us a 1/4 on one of my two 27 inch Displays and cam move it anywhere I need to. I have my two emails up, OneNote, and the TV on the second screen and work on the first one.

– I will use it to record local news when I am not available to watch it. The pause button allows you to jump on a call and watch what you otherwise would miss. -.

I was really after another brand, as I’ve had relatively poor longevity from the two previous Haupppauge HVR-22** cards, I found no real viable alternatives, for a PCI-E card, available locally. I decided to purchase.

After some days of usage, I have found the DVB-T2 recording of freeview to be far better than the previous cards: no/very little buffering -even {slightly} better than the USB Solo DualHD dongle. I live under the Waitakere Transmitter; so no line-of-site, with trees somewhat attenuating the signal.

Just am hoping it has a better lifespan than its predecessors. PBtech did an excellent job of supply & delivery, in these difficult times. Thanks to all involved, it is greatly appreciated.

After all these years, the engineers still have not gotten the audio correct. There’s a distortion in the audio that sounds kinda like the added distortion effect to the alien Visitors’ voices in the original two TV miniseries V, from the mid-1980’s.

Changing the (player) source’s audio output format from AC-3 to PCM doesn’t really help. Changing this MiniMod’s audio format from the broadcast standard of AC-3 to MPEG-audio instead, helps slightly.

Strange. At least they finally made it compatible with AC-3 / Dolby Digital sources. I tried this model a few years ago and, despite their claims, it was not. Changing the latency setting to short or long causes it to not work properly; only medium is OK.

The video is definitely NOT perfect as advertised. This device changes the look of the video motion. This product is way overpriced considering its audio distortion problem. It’s barely worth 2-stars considering it costs about five hundred dollars instead of three hundred.

I love this thing. The low latency setting is great. It is very low latency and very high quality, so don’t worry about any lag for live show preview displays. It even has enough output to push an antenna over-the-air a tiny bit.

Pricey but this has a permanent install in my house on my video server so it’s well worth it.

I upgraded from a smaller F30 model to this new 70inch and its noticeably faster/more responsive which is great. Overall for the price (on sale $450) it can’t be beat. The picture looks great and most people in my experience can hardly if even notice any difference when compared to my more expensive model TV’s with technically better color/picture quality especially when just watching cable/streaming content.

This is a great option for a no fuss solid tv. The ONLY negative thing I can say about this TV is the sound quality is abysmal and unless you just watching talks shows, you’re going to want a sound bar at least.

Got this TV because insignia is a trusted brand and because it was on sale for a price I can’t beat. Very clear picture. Sound is impeccable. Hopefully it lasts a very long time but I trust that it will.

Plus it’s a smart tv which is always great.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The tv is well built and mounted easily to the wall bracket. The tv has a good picture and sound quality. It has three HDMI ports which made it easy to hook up the Roku bar and speakers.

This set-up made it easy to bypass the built-in Fire Tv.

There are cases where it is necessary to use a TV tuner on a computer instead of finding a floating TV elsewhere. The small omnidirectional antenna and coaxial connection can be finicky and are not suited for usage with a window with wind.

Having said that, it works perfectly perched on the other side of the window, and the included software and code have DVR-like capabilities. The short USB cable extension is also useful when necessary.

It would be cool if the group could make a Mac-friendly version of the software, but everything is working as advertised.

Works surprising well with a Raspberry Pi 4. The only thing that didn’t work was the included IR remote — it requires a Windows 10 USB driver for it to work. But you can easily control the tuner with a wireless mouse instead.

I should note the official Raspberry Pi TV tuner does not do ATSC TV channels which is what TV stations in the USA broadcast. This USB tuner does do ATSC. No special software downloads. All you need is in the Raspberry Pi repositories.

Jump to the command line an execute: sudo apt install kaffeine And that is it for software installation. Then go to the Pi Sound.

IšverstiShow in original languageSo far it works great! No problems with audio auto of sync or anything. I recorded about 6 hours on an 8 gig flash drive! I am not sure how much space that used, but was a lot more than some reviewers were claiming.

I have to think they were just making uneducated guesses. I bought a much larger drive though, in case I want to record a lot! The tuner actually pulls in better than my top of the line TV that starts with an L and ends with a G.

😉 If it lasts 6 months I will buy another at this price! I have no reason to think it won’t last a few years though. It apears to be made pretty solid. It is up to par with any other item you buy now days.

It isn’t flimsy like other things I have bought cheap. Picture is better using HDMI of course, but I used the loop-through and can chose to bypass the unit and watch my antenna TV on TV input as before.

I switch to HDMI input to use the box and watch my recordings. I don’t see how you can go wrong at this price. Considering the name brand DVR’s start around 4 to 6 times higher, then some charge you for the EPG guide, (This one doesn’t), I would have to go through a LOT of these units for it to not be a much better value! You have to factor in cost along with quality.

So far this seems to be pretty good quality on top of the super low price!.

IšverstiShow in original languageWe are cutting the cord on cable and sat TV. After putting up a HD antenna, I found one of our older flat screens was analog and couldn’t get the signal. I bought one of these and it works perfect.

I realized that with an added usb flash or hard drive, I could record over the air programs just like a DVR. I bought 3 more and use them as dedicated DVR’s for the networks. With a cheap online provider we now get all the channels and shows we like at 1/4 the cost and no equipment rental.

How much you can record at once is dependent on the size of the hard drive. It uses about 6 Gb per hour of recording. The box comes with multiple output connections and the usb port is conveniently positioned on the front of the box.

The built in guide makes planning which shows to record so easy. The only problem I’ve found is if you try to scan through the guide to quickly, it will lock up and then needs to be rebooted. Also, when setting up to record, instead of going to the guide, finding your show, and hitting the record button, you have to input the start and stop time using the number pad on the remote.

The setup is super easy and it was able to pull in every channel available in our area. The picture is great and I am very happy with my setup.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is a cool little DVR for broadcast TV in your area. The tuner is pretty sensitive and picked up stations from my own town and one about 50 miles away. This is driven mostly by the antenna but the one I’m using is the size of a book and indoors so it works pretty well.

All the stuff I read about these said add a flash drive so that you have something to record to. — I suspected a usb hard drive world work and it does. I hooked up a WD 1TB hard drive and it works just fine.

I chose this drive because it was cheap. With 1TB of space I could have many many hours of recorded video stored. — The command structure of this system takes a little getting used to as there are a ton of buttons on the remote and not all commands are straight forward.

With a little work the on screen prompts will get you there but you might make some wrong turns on the journey. — To record a show just scroll thru the guide Digital broadcast TV provides and select the show(s) you want recorded.

Remember this has one tuner so you can only record 1 show at a time. You can pick the shows, times and any of your channels as long as they don’t conflict. Set them up and when you come back they will be there waiting to be watched.

— Playback is easy. Press the USB button and scroll thru a list ofdates of the programs. You can rename them but they are stored only by date. — Video recorded plays back in a very clear format. In some cases it seemed better than the original broadcast but at the very least you don’t lose anything in the translation.

— If you need a small DVR for off air broadcast in your area you won’t go wrong with this unit. It works as advertised and the seller got it delivered to me in a very fast way.

I am pleased that I received, receiver earlier than expected. It was delivered the correct way. By sliding gate open, and placing package at front door. Then upon departure, closing my gate. Reason for that, I have had HORRIBLE deliveries.

Packages thrown over the gate. Merchandise damaged, etc. Anyhoo the reason for the 4 star. Wayyyy too much instructions. I’m a straight to the point kinda gal. I was so happy it came. But then when I opened the box.

Saw all these instructions 🙁 REALLY!!! I was so burnt out. Couldn’t do it, didn’t do it for three days. I tried watching TV with Locast. What a scam! It’s free, OH! But we need your help, by donating $5.

Anyhoo! After the the three days, I hooked up my device. I did not bother to read instructions. And I hooked it up with no problem. So in all I am satisfied with my purchase.

If you are looking for a simple tuner to watch over the air programming this is an inexpensive option. But if you are looking for a DVR you should look elsewhere. This STB is very glitchy and at times does not respond to the remote and sometimes reboots itself.

I would not trust this DVR to record anything of importance. The user manual is incomplete and inaccurate in many regards.

Hubby got everything set up so it was super easy for me (haha). We suspect the tuner is going out on our TV, but didn’t want to spend that much money right now to replace it. It works beautifully! The channels we were having so much trouble seeing are crystal clear now! Not thrilled with having yet ANOTHER remote to use, but it sure beats spending $$$$$$$$ on a whole new TV!.

I purchased TiVo Minis for my bedroom and my sons room so we could attach to my TiVo Roamio and TiVo Premiere. I figured this would be a better solution for us both. I soon realized the shortcomings of the TiVo Mini though: No wireless connection, only ethernet or MoCA (ethernet over coaxial cable), losses of recordings in the pause buffer, lack of input changes, etc.

That is when I decided to try my used TiVo Premiere instead of using the TiVo Mini. It gave me the features of the Mini without losing some other desired features. Besides, used Premieres are selling for as much, or less, than the TiVo Mini itself.

I replaced my Mini’s with lifetime Premieres. Using a less expensive TiVo Premiere is better than using a TiVo Mini. Having more features than a TiVo Mini and also the capability to use Over The Air antenna signals ALONG WITH cable signals, the TiVo Premiere maintains its viability in the lower priced field now.

Buyer beware that although TiVo says it can connect to WiFi, no current Tivo model can connect to Hotspot WiFi. It’s no wonder that Tivo lost 30,000 subscriptions last year. More and more people are simply using their cell phones for their home WiFi but Tivo refuses to get with the program.

Even their latest Roamio model cannot connect to modern Hotspot WiFi. Tivo is quickly becoming a dinosaur because it refuses to keep pace with current technology. The only reason I gave a 4 star review is because a neighbor kindly gave me their WiFi password so that I am able to use my Tivo model.

I use the Tivo box to record shows when I am not able to watch them. And it is great to be able to schedule recordings remotely from a computer but have yet to find a Tivo mobile app. The most disappointing thing about having your own Tivo box is that Comcast and other providers do not allow one to access On Demand channels.

Prohibiting this access tremendously reduces the amount of programming that can be recorded. This is something that no one openly tells you about. Not the retailer nor the cable service. However, you can access On Demand channels but with the rental of a cable companies’ Tivo box.

I see this as double charging, rental box fee and programming charges. Another dislike is that without an HD TV or a TV without HDMI the picture quality of stored photos is very poor. This is probably not a Tivo shortcoming but if you are using an older TV don’t expect even good picture quality.

Lastly, some of the programming offered by Tivo is awful example being Framechannel. Its free but it stinks. Oh, one more thing. Tivo suggests and records channels but it does not seem to learn what your preferences are and ends up filling the Tivo box with a lot of programming that you’ll never watch nor want to.

Turn this feature off otherwise you’ll need to delete them individually. No, there is no batch delete function. Tivo needs to add that function!.

I bought this Tivax STB-T8 to replace my older one which seems to have stopped working after about ten years due to overheating. As a result, the change -out of connections was very quick. Both products have worked reliably for me.

Works fine.Same as original I broke. Searched all over for one and got it on e bay immediately. Very Happy. Well Packaged with return address etc.

PRODUCT DOES THE JOB WITHOUT DIFFICULTY. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, USE A RELIABE ANTENNA ( LOCATE IN AN OPTIMAL PLACE). ENJOY.

I like this brand and this is a second time when I was trying to find a replacement for one that stopped working. I was very happy to find the product that I like with a good quality and good price!

The converter box is working fine. I tho’t it was a little too expensive since it could quit working at any time like my original did. So if it lasts a long time, then I would say it was well worth it at $30 and it should be 5 stars.

I was glad to find one available with a remote control. Thank you for sending it so fast.

The digital signals come in clearer with this product. I have used a different digital converter product and they were fuzzy. For some reason the “first generation type” of Insignia digital converter boxes work better.

Dieses Gerät fuktionier einwandfrei. Was Conrad unternommen hat, dass diese Panne nicht mehr passiert weiß ich leider nicht. Waldi.

Ausser den kathreineigenen Geräten ist der Megasat HD 350 tatsächlich das erste Gerät aus dem unterem Preissegment (<50 Euro), welches hier funktioniert, ohne die Satanlage lahmzulegen.

Die Installation der Antenne verlief einfach und problemlos. Bis jetzt totale Zufriedenheit.
