20 Best Iphone Xr Wallet Cases (2023 Updated)

This is a replacement for my son’s case that he had for a couple of years and finally started peeling and breaking. It’s basically the same case and he really likes it. It is protective, carries his ID and a $20 bill, and folds to sit up so he can watch something.

The only issue is that it can be a bit thick for certain connectors like a dual headphone jack he just got doesn’t fit securely in it. Overall, it’s a really great case.

Really pleased with this purchase (have it a few months already). The stand works well enough and the card holder holds about 3 cards. The phone is protected, but not too huge. Overall, a great purchase.

The only slightly difficult part of the case is the difficulty taking in off to change a SIM card, but it just takes about 10 seconds longer than I would have liked.

This case protects my phone. It has a slot on the case that holds my license and 3 credit cards. It was just what I was looking for. Easy magnetic closure so my cards don’t slip out. It does add a little weight to my phone but it is well made.

It’s not as heavy as my purse. lol When shopping I can just take my phone and leave my heavy purse behind. Best Buy was very helpful in meeting my needs with this purchase. It wasn’t in stock but Best Buy shipped it to my home free of charge after I purchased it.

I purchased the MagSafe wallet on a whim because I wanted to take advantage of the MagSafe capability of my newly purchased iPhone 13 Pro Max. I had briefly read reviews about the updated wallet and the ability for it to be tracked in Find My, and figured it was worth a shot to try out.

I am absolutely in love! Normally I carry my phone and a small Coach card wallet separately. The card wallet is large enough to carry my ID, insurance card, a bank card, and two or three other cards or some cash depending on the occasion.

But most often, I simply need access to my ID and bank card, since everything else can be easily stored in Apple Wallet. This MagSafe wallet allows me to carry my ID, bank card, and one credit card easily with me during my day to day without having to give anything a second thought.

I love that the wallet stays attached to the phone and can easily slip into one pocket of my pants without issue or added bulk. It also gives me the peace of mind that I won’t leave my wallet behind, because not only would my phone tell me it has been detached, but the feel of holding the phone without the MagSafe wallet is very obviously different.

The quality of the leather and the craftsmanship of the stitching is fantastic. It actually gives a bit of a grip to the back of the phone and makes holding the Pro Max much easier than without it. I have it attached to the MagSafe compatible Gear4 clear case by Zagg.

The Midnight color is the perfect contrast against the Sierra Blue phone. The magnetic hold is strong, but not annoyingly do. The wallet is easy to detach when you need to, and can be carried separately if desired.

Best accessory I have ever purchased for an iPhone, hands down.

Find my feature is great for peace of mind I’m glad this was added in for this model. This is not a conventional wallet, but simply for a minimalist who uses ApplePay for most if not almost all purchases.

This is a great wallet for people who have keycards to access their apartment or condo buildings as it was a number 1 factor for me to purchase. It’s easier than grabbing my traditional wallet each time I leave the house to run errands or take my dog outside.

This is also great for domestic air travel. No need to pull out traditional wallet for ID at TSA. Still not 100% a replacement for a wallet (insurance cards, cash, multiple credit cards) but it’s a good minimalist alternative that can be used for most day to day situations.

I usually carry one credit/bank card for places that don’t accept ApplePay, my ID, and my building card. 3 cards fit comfortably in the wallet. The magnet is pretty strong and Find My feature pings my phone and watch when it is immediately detached from my phone.

If you bought the Apple Wallet when the iPhone 12 came out, it would be hard to justify upgrading to this wallet…but if you’re drinking the Apple Koolaid, then you already know what you’re going to do.

I ended up grabbing one of the upgraded wallets when I got my iPhone 13 Pro. Really, all the did was added a function with the Find My app, so if you took the wallet off the back of your phone, it would notify you that your wallet is off your phone and last seen at a previous location.

There’s more to this, but I recommend using the Google machine, should you choose to want to learn more about the technical aspects of all of this. Build quality is typical premium Apple. Also unfortunately, so is the price.

With that said, it’s always a deal whenever you’re able to get one of these on sale, which is what I’d recommend doing. For me personally, the switch from going to a fat wallet in my back pocket, to a slim wallet that sticks to the back of my phone…while it seems trivial, has been kind of a life changer.

But that’s just me. Do what you will with that information.

I am still limping along with my old phone, but will be getting another cover from you the moment I get around to an update. I ordered it a moment after she confirmed her order (in case she changed her mind on model prior to that) and both arrived the following morning, so it was protected the moment it came out of its delivery box.

My only sadness is that you do not make a cover for the iPad, as I would order one immediately. If you fancy creating a cover for a standard 9. 5” iPad Pro, I’ll buy the “Guinea Pig”. Also sad you are based in Dorking, rather than NE London / Essex, as I would apply for any job with a company that shows such pride in its product and goes for such quality.

Purchased this for my wife as a Christmas gift. She loves it. Well made good quality lovely finish having her initials embossed on to the case. I would highly recommend this phone case you will not be disappointed.

What a nice case! Not cheap, but well worth the money. I got Teal, which is a lovely subtle blue. Service spot on too. I’m planning to get one for my husband if he’s a good boy 🙃

I am on my second Pela phone case (wanted a darker color), and I purchased this black iPhone XR case for my dad as a part of their “buy one get one. ” deal. Both him and I are particularly clumsy when it comes to dropping our phones, but our Pela cases have truly been there to save the day! And did I mention how comfortable and light they are to hold?? I recommend their phone cases to anyone who prioritizes form and function in a product, and will continue shopping with them so long as I have a need!.

I’ve had the case for about a month now and love it. It has a nice slim profile so it doesn’t feel bulky in my pocket, but is definitely sturdy enough to within an occasional drop. It’s a great, 5-star case with one exception.

The card holder in the back is very small and can only really hold one card at a time. Even then it’s a tight fit and takes a little bit of work to get a card in or out.

I love Pela, but the wallet pocket broke less than an hour into use and the rip (pocket separated from case) gres over the course of the week so that cards were sticking out. I had only tried to have 3 cards in the pocket.

I’ll just use a normal case and a separate wallet.

I finally got my little paws on my Citrine Crystal Quad, free to review, and I’m so happy! This quad says summer fire to me. The glow is unreal from the shimmers and the matte Mid Summer color is a perfect base.

I also used the Mid Summer color on my cheeks to tie my looks together, and Citrine doubles as a gorgeous highlighter. The shades were so easy to apply, build and blend. I love this type of product for travel because it’s so versatile.

It also wears beautifully. My looks were as fresh in the evening as when I first applied them. I’m also a huge fan of this brand’s sustainability measures, and that they’re cruelty free which is important to me.

I would highly recommend this eye quad, and the brand in general.

I love this little palette! I took this with me for a weekend out of town, which included a bridal shower, and got quite a few compliments! It made a great travel palette. The shades are warm, mostly neutral tones, while the matte color is a peachy orange.

The neutral shimmers are perfect for my style of subtle, natural looks with a bit of shine. This palette stays true to the creamy smooth shadows expected from Athr Beauty. Great quality, and versatile, easy to toss in a purse or your travel bag and use for a variety of looks.

I’m so in love with this eyeshadow quad! It’s my new go-to for summer. It contains 3 shimmer shadows- all gorgeous and one matte shade- equally as gorgeous. I really love golden shades so this quad is perfect for me.

It’s easy to do either a daytime or nighttime look with these shades and I love putting the lightest shade in my inner eye or under my eye brows for a nice highlight. It’s small enough to throw in your purse or makeup bag.

I’m going to be taking this one everywhere with me this summer! Highly recommend!.

Just received this on Feb 27th! It fits my S20 FE perfectly. I thought it was going to have a really hard plastic feel to it, but it’s a sturdy rubbery plastic that will definitely help with shock absorption if it’s dropped.

It also has a smooth finish to it (I didn’t realize the lines were flush with the design). The front screen cover fits perfectly. I use my fingerprint on this case and it’s on point! So far have i had no issues using the touchscreen with this case on.

Overall, I love it! Great purchase! :).

The phone case I received in the mail looks nothing like the advertised one above. I was very disappointed. I bought this phone case as a Christmas present for my sister and now I will most likely be returning because I am afraid she will not like it.

There is almost no blue tones it’s a very light blue colour (almost white) with a bunch of gold lines through the middle. She loves blue and when I saw this it looked perfect for her, in person it is terrible, not even shimmery, just has those gold lines.

It does have the protective screen cover, but that is the only plus of this order.

The description for the product I viewed was for a Marble coloured Samsung S20 FE phone case with a screen protector that was promised to work with the fingerprint ID reader. This phone case refuses to allow my fingerprints to work, even after trying to add new ones in with the screen protector.

My phone won’t recognize that I’m using my finger correctly. This isn’t an issue normally. It’s also clear, not marble as described. I will not be ordering from this marketplace seller again, this phone case has disappointed all around.

I purchased this case for my wife’s birthday. She absolutely loves it! The entire procurement process, soup to nuts, was mellifluous and expedient. So, great product, excellent customer service and shipping was efficient.

My leather wallet case is perfect, and holds my phone and credit cards and looks sleek. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the 5 star rating was auto checked in advance for me. Literally the only flaw I found.

Not sure what I was expecting, but it’s no different than the one I have except this one is leather. Not even more card holders which is what I was needing. Plus this was far pricier than the one I have.

Love this case. I’ve had this case for about 4 months and it’s still like new. It’s plastic, rubbery surround for the housing of your phone doesn’t stretch out of shape, crack, etc like other cases I’ve had in the past.

It holds 3 cards in the slots and you can store more or cash in the folded slot. Get this case you will not be disappointed. I cut the latch part of with a utility blade for the men’s wallet look.

I really love this item. I do not like leaving my phone exposed when I am at work. This case is perfect for my needs and it is comfortable to carry. It also offers some protection if dropped. I actually bought this particular item and another one just like it in brown & navy blue.

Would buy again when this one wears out but so far still in good shape.

I’ve always preferred wallet cases and of all the ones I’ve owned this one is very well made and yet is the cheapest one I’ve ever purchased. The small magnet in both the clasp and the cover means that they both fold out of the way and stay where they are put.

The magnets are strong enough to hold but haven’t affected my credit cards. All cases eventually wear out and if this one lasts a decent time I’m buying 5 more.

The case has just arrived and first impressions are good. I already had a Samsung Clearview case but had a couple of concerns about the case not protection the phone 100% all the way around, the lack of magnetic or other closure of the front flap and I felt it looks a bit bling for my liking.

The tech21 case is about as thick as the Samsung Clearview case when in bumper only mode. With the front flap it gets a bit thicker still depending what you put in the card/cash slots – there is one more slot than I expected in this section which makes it more useful.

They section flaps open to reveal a card slot and a smaller slot for a some notes folded up. They have added magnetic closure for this flap which is a neat solution. The overall height and width is obviously increased a bit as there is a decent bumper that goes all the way around the phone, top and bottom which again adds more protection.

I actually dropped my phone on the driveway yesterday and was a millimetre away from damaging the bottom edge near the ports of the phone which are fairly unprotected in the Samsung case but this case would have taken it no problems at all.

I don’t know how much I will use it without the front flap on as I have broken screens in the past by using rear-only bumper cases which don’t cover thescreen. I daresay the flap will stay on most of the time as it all bends and folds easily enough to use the phone with it on.

It is also a very secure clasp that actually physically clips in place and is not magnetic as I had expected. I daresay the physical clipping of a clasp in place is more secure than magnets but it does mean you have to remember to close the clasp before you drop it or it could still flap open.

The only disappointment for me was the lack of smart opening/unlocking the phone as you open the case. This means you have to press the power button to wake the device which does take a very firm press – the thick bumper means there is a connecting button within the case which is stiff and doesn’t seem very easy to press in the right place to get it to work at the moment but it may improve with use.

The other buttons are stiff too. The mechanism for taking off the flap and fitting the fill in section is a wee bit fiddly at first and may not be the most robust. It’s a shame it’s not a magnetic system or something so it could be a bit quicker and easier but again the flap and case feel secure in either mode so it is doing it’s job.

I definitely feel like I could drop the phone in this case (with the front secured properly) and it wouldn’t get damaged. The thick bumpers and solid (if ever so slightly thick) front would protect the phone from all angles and I really feel it is a good safe case.

It’s just a shame the front isn’t magnetic – a combination of the clasp and magnetic closure would be best in my view – fairly safe if you forget the clasp and super safe if you remember the clasp. It does look a wee bit utilitarian as well but I actually like the styling – it’s quite a subtle and stealthy kind of look like tactical hardware type stuff but with an air of smarter business wear too.

It wouldn’t look out of place anywhere basically. It also works fine with full front and rear Screenknight screen protectors (which are the best protectors for curved screens imo) and doesn’t catch any edges so you can still be protected that way as well.

It even comes in a nicely presented box (with nice magnetic closure I might add!) With good clear instructions using pictures so they can be understood by anyone. I was tempted by one of the other cases which clips around the phone 360 degrees but was put off by the difficulty in removing the device and the need to remove the screenknight protectors to get it to fit.

I like to swap cases for different occasions so this works well as 2 in 1. Well worth the price for a bit of peace of mind when out and about with an expensive and fragile phone.

Iphones tend to be thin in nature, which is why I needed something to protect my new iPhone 11. Though black is not my favorite color, this case does its job by protecting my iphone from scratches and accidental drops.

Like my previous iphone 6S case, it did its job protecting my old phone. All this new case does is hugs my new phone tight. I did not want something that pulls apart and puts together like putting a puzzle together.

It’s simple, yet does its job. Excellent!.

Second torro case I’ve bought as impressed first time, needed a new one for my upgrade

I know what you’re thinking. The best phone case money can buy? Seems bold. But it’s 100 percent true – and now the internet says it so it’s definitely real. I’ve had this phone case through multiple years and different phones.

I’d recommend it time and time again. But this morning, this is where I solidified my life’s trust in Otterbox and the cases they make. To say I’ve lived everyone’s nightmare is an undersell. My phone was in this highly magnetic case when it slipped through the crack of my building’s elevator.

But, since the magnets are so powerful, they latched on to the side of the elevator and prevented the phone from falling into the pits of our shaft. My phone clung to the side of the elevator and was still within reaching distance for a crow bar like tool to safely scoop it up.

I don’t know what type of sorcery is behind the magnets in these phone cases but trust me that it will save you from your phone’s worst nightmares coming true. I will continue to be a loyal customer to Otterbox forever and ever – might even get a tattoo to become a brand ambassador because Otterbox just means that much to me now.

I love the hard shell otterboxes I’ve gotten in the past. Been buying them nearly as long as they’ve been available. This time I decided to get the leather folio because it looks sharp and I liked the idea of being able to close something over the screen.

But. 100% regret this decision. The case itself is beautiful and feels great to hold. It could be slightly easier to open. I’ve seen reviews asking why a tab in previous models was removed and despite having never used that, I still agree it would be very much appreciated.

The biggest problem is the volume down button gets pressed constantly by the case. If I touch the phone, the volume goes down. If I press the side button to turn the screen off, half the time it takes a screen shot.

This alone makes the cases basically unusable. Just picking up the phone can cause the volume to get turned all the way down and you’ll never realize it. I’ve already missed calls and text and only been using it for like two days.

I would not recommend getting this case unless you really really don’t care about the volume controls. Get a different Otterbox though because they do make good stuff apart from this.

This case is amazing. I am baffled by the negativity people leave in these reviews, for what is a premium case. 1. They improved this significantly over the iPhone 11 Pro version, which the cover didn’t close flush and the case allowed debris to get in between it and the phone.

They fixed both of those problems with this case. it’s super tight around the phone to the point no debris gets in at all, and the front cover from the very beginning closed flush like it should. 2. As for the tab being removed, there is now a small notch in the perimeter of the case that serves the same purpose that the tab did.

I actually prefer this for a few reasons, one of which is that it results in a sleeker look to the case without having a big tab sticking out. I also believe that it is why the cover fits so securely now as opposed to previous generations of the case.

Overall I suggest you try it for yourself, and ignore the negative reviews. I’ve owned three of these now, and the iPhone 13 pro max version is the best one yet. with the iPhone 11 Pro version being the worst, in my opinion.

Would recommend to family / friends / anyone.

Works great with the 13 pro max using the clear Apple MagSafe case. It’s stays out perfectly. No issues in and out of my pockets so far in the first couple of weeks. I could not use other brand cases.

I tried two other MagSafe compatible cases and the wallet would slip off easily. If I dropped the phone on the couch it would fall off. This does not happen with the Apple brand case. I even tried the rhino bumper guards out there and it feels weird not having back protection.

I am going to try the leather MagSafe Apple case next. I love this setup though. I recommend getting an anker MagSafe car charger and mount. It works great with this combo. Apple did it right with this combo.

I purchased the Apple wallet leather about two months ago. I have been very pleased with it. In fact, until today I had no qualms at all. But today I lost it…. Like not dropped it for a second…. Lost it.

It shows it’s at my house… even shows me what time it disconnected and that’s great because I know exactly where I was 7 minutes later because of a phone call…. but still no wallet. I guess I feel like Apple has dropped the ball.

You pay $50 for a wallet that you can track and I guess I was expecting a little more of the AirTag experience…. Get within a few feet and your phone walks you right to it… even puts off a sound if you want it to.

Apple, you do so many great things…. you need to go further in this one. I still like my wallet but for the first time I’m considering getting a wallet that’s I’ll hold and AirTag….

The iPhone XR case is a great fit, leather is soft and it looks great. At first it’s tight to close with three cards in the front flap but that’s softening as I use it. I have two issues. The super picky one is that there are little thread bumps, almost like a plastic ridge on the threads and my fingers find these all the time.

I love all of the SaveSleeve products that I own. my favourite is the laptop lap desk. The second issue is disappointing and it makes selling into Canada a challenge, not only did I have to pay foreign exchange but based on the category the product was shipped under the duty rates were just about as high as they can go.

Normally I would coordinate a purchase like this with a trip to Washington state but with Covid, that’s not wise or allowed so duty + GST we pay.

I just sent my second attempt to exchange my safe sleeve as I ordered the wrong one. No one returned my first email! So, customer service is definitely a frustration. While I love the convenience of the safe sleeve, they last one, maybe 2 years and then have to be replaced.

I wish they lasted longer. I do love the sleek look and the carrying strap as well as the safety they bring.

I bought both the laptop case and the iphone cover. The anti-radiation and RFID blocking features are most important to me. However the laptop case is a bit of the disappointment for the price. The side of the case are made of what looks like insubstantial elastic which might not hold up well over time.

I expected better for the $100 price. Wish I had ordered the lap desk instead.

This is my second purchase of the Ted Baker Mirror iPhone case. I bought the first one after being envious of a fellow conference delegate and recognising the iconic Ted Baker Pattern. Really protective if you drop your phone and folds over the screen with a handy mirror on the inside.

The outer pattern is just gorgeous – my last one lasted 3 years before it faded slightly so I bought this new one – nothing wrong with the old one this just looks fresher as they obviously get a lot of use.

Would highly recommend.

Very happy with my order. I changed my choice of color after hitting the order button and the proper case was sent. It would have been great if casebus had a case that is more like my iPad folio. It is more like a book cover and protects the screen when not in use.

I prefer that over having to add on a glass protector as those things chip off at the edges and those tiny bits of glass are a tragedy waiting to happen. The wallet styles are impressive but in my thoughts would be too bulky and problematic.

Feels perfect Looks perfect Functions perfectly Even better than I’d hoped it would be. As Apple are not doing their own leather case for the XR – I bought and, for past 6 weeks, have been using 2 other non- leather cases.

Hated both. Just received my Mujjo What a relief to have a leather case, once again (as Ive had on my old iPhone) And frankly – Mujjo’s leather is superior to that used by Apple. Their workmanship and attention to detail is stellar.

HOMERUN! Edit: Having given a 5 star rating I feel obliged to point out what many might deem a drawback if theyre unlucky enough to receive a case which has this fault : Theres a persistent, creaking noise whenever pressure is applied to sides of case when using the phone.

I now see its a known issue; many Amazon Mujjo reviews mention it, as does a Google search. UPDATE: Mujjo have been GREAT. Responded immediately and sent replacement which doesn’t have creaking issue.

I really liked the case when I got it. Its more pricey than others, but it fit my criteria of being minimal and card carrying. I also like how the inside of the case is a felt material. This works for me because I keep a magnet between the case and my phone to hook onto another magnet in my car.

I found the felt keeps the magnet from sliding around. Unfortunately, the case is not a perfect fit and for some reason, the top volume button does not work as well as the bottom volume button. There are some times where I’ll press the on/off button and my phone will take a screenshot since it thinks I am holding the top volume button as well.

Obviously this is pretty annoying, but I’ve found a way around it where I’m okay with keeping the case and not dealing with returns. It could be that this is just the case I received. Still, this is a ding against a case that costs $50.

The leather is incredibly thin. Ive had it less than a week and its already losing the dye, and tearing. I have never dropped it, and I treat my phone very well, but the leather is already tearing and wearing off just from normal pocket use.

I bought it because I wanted something that will have a nice leather patina after a while. The leather is a dark grey underneath the orange dye, so rather than wearing like normal leather it scuffs and scratches on the corners and is black underneath.

I expected it to age like any other leather product, but instead it has a black coloration in the worn areas which makes it look cheap and old. Very disappointed for the amount of money I spent on this.

This is a great case. In the process of looking for a nice leather case for the iphone 13 mini, I came across Andar leather cases. In looking for a leather case there was one particular thing that I wanted: for the leather case to minimize or flatten out the camera bump so that the phone can rest flat on its backside when left on a flat surface.

I bought the Fitz leather case for the iphone 13 mini and I’m glad I did. It was a bit of a difficult decision due to somethings that I wondered about. Based on the picture, I wasn’t sure how the case was going to grip the iphone 13 mini but now having received the leather case, it curves over the iphone 13 mini all around the edge of the phone (except for the portion at the bottom of the phone).

Once you place the case on, it fits snug and secure. Also from the pictures, I was trying to determine how pronounced the leather was around the camera opening on the leather case. It was difficult to determine how much based on the picture.

I didn’t prefer how the Aspen case was with the bit of metal sticking out around the camera opening. The Marshal case looks good especially around the camera opening and so was the Fitz case. I decided on the Fitz case because I thought that since it had a slit for card it would help flatten out the back profile of the iphone 13 mini and help with making the phone lay flat when placed on flat surfaces.

The pictures for the Fitz case for iphone 13 mini are good and very useful in helping towards taking the plunge and purchasing the case. Overall, the Fitz leather case for iphone 13 mini has met my expectations and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a classy and simple leather case for their iphone. Some side thoughts: When I was looking for a leather case I thought of getting a protective covering for the iphone 13 mini camera but I’m guessing with the case it won’t really be able to fit it.

It seems like it’s either the camera protection or the leather case. I haven’t tested it out so that’s the conclusion I’ve reached. But it’s a suggestion if Andar plans to update the phone cases that maybe this would be something to consider.

Not really something that seems necessary as I think the leather case (particularly the one I purchase) is great and doesn’t really need anymore things to complicate its simple design.

The Fitz Apple case looks great. The leather looks and feels nice. And I love the idea of leaving my wallet behind and just carrying a driver’s license and credit card along with my phone. However, the case has two shortcomings.

The most critical is that with two cards in the slot, the sides of the case barely wrap around the sides of the phone and result in the phone’s top glass protruding beyond the edge of the case (I may be overstating it; the photos show the lip on a standard Apple case compared to the Fitz).

If I were to drop the phone face down, the glass would hit the floor before the case. This only occurs on the end of phone near the home button, where the two cards are stretching the case. Also the cards are in there so tight that’s it’s extremely difficult to slide them out.

In fact it’s so hard to slide them out that I usually End up having to pull the phone out of the case at the cashier in order relieve the pressure enough to be able to slide the cards out. And of course having to remove the phone like that increases the odds that I’ll drop it, further diminishing the protective value of the case.

All in, I do like the look and convenience of the case, but for my next one I’ll probably try one that has a slot at the bottom so you can push the cards up and out of the holder.

I love the overall quality and sleek design of this case. I would recommend that Andar design a case with a finger slide slot to assist pushing the card up and out the slot. The only difficulty I have had is it is nearly impossible to get a metal credit card out the card slot.

Now, that’s also because the metal cards don’t have enough “flex” to get your finger under it to pull it out. it will take a few extremely hard attempts to get a metal card out. One trick I tried is to try inserting metal cards only half way into the slot.

That trick doesn’t work well enough to not be an annoyance. Plastic cards n the other hand, work a little better because plastic, bends a little so there’s enough flex to get your finger tip between the card and case to pull the card out the slot.

I recommend this case but I would not use a metal card too often because it’s a lot harder to get them out but plastic cards work well. Thank you, Andar!!!.
