I have been using my Juicepack air for about two weeks and so far, so good. It is on an I-phone 8. It seems to protect the phone well. I haven’t yet need to use it as a charger, so I can not speak to how well that works, but based upon my experience with a Juicepack Helium on an I-phone 5, I expect it to work well.

I like the fact that the connecting seem between the two halves is now on the top end, not the bottom, where the electronics are. That was something of an Achilles heel on my earlier model and what ultimately spelled the death of the thing.

My one complaint is that this model does not have a mechanical switch to activate the charge function, instead using a two-function button to both activate the charger and check the status of the juicepack battery.

I assume this was incorporated for durability reasons, but the flaw of this design is that the charger is too easily accidentally activated. I have had my phone battery at 90%+ charge, put the phone I my pocket or even my car consol and had the charger turn on.

This needs a re-design. Also, the charging plug doesn’t quite fully insert into the slot, which could ultimately prove to be a point of failure. Maybe this is just a quirk of my sample.

I have had every generation iPhone since the 3GS and have had Mophie cases for each one since they started coming out. I think despite the fact that this came out 3 months after the iPhone 7 launch, they still rushed it to production without proper design or making a second model with larger capacity.

PROS: Wireless charging is great for the car mount, you can turn the charging function on/off (unlike the Apple counterpart), the size of the case is not that cumbersome or bulky, and Mophie customer service is the best in the industry and their cases are strong and worth the money.

CONS: This is the first Mophie that does not have a physical on/off switch. You have to hold the power button to toggle it on/off. Personally, with me putting my phone in my back pants pocket, I’m constantly finding that I accidentally turn it on every day and don’t realize it until I’ve drained half the battery pack.

For me this is a major design flaw. They should have stuck with the physical on/off switch. Overall: Mophie is still my go-to trusted brand, however if I had known that the capacity would be smaller and that the on/off switch was removed, I would’ve waited for the next model.

But for right now, since I already bought it, this will do since it’s better than nothing.

I can’t amagine “not” having one of these on my phone. Well I did and I hated it. It took about a week for our Mophies to show up. You start out the day with enough battery for the whole day. When I drop my phone the mophie protects the phone from damage.

The phone battery stays charged for most of the day, which means the phone battery itself will last years longer. I don’t have “1” bad thing to say about this product and if the phone companies were smart, they would put these on their phones “before” trying to sell them.

I have heard other people say that these make their phone too heavy, but that is the price you pay for being able to go all day without having to charge your phone. I personally can’t imagine going through my day constantly wondering, “Where am I gonna plug my phone in?” Why would anyone want to do that to themselves? I’ve got other things to worry about than that.

My family just got 4 new phones. Once we knew what everyone was going to be using, we immediately bought 4 Mophies to go with them. We’ve been using this product for 5 years and will continue using them for years to come.

The phone does it’s job. I am a retired senior and did not grow up in the tech age. I had an SE for years. I liked it; was small and easily fit into my pocket. It’s features were fine by me. Now, I have a larger phone with so many options I have trouble, at times, navagating all the options, where to find things, etc.

I thought I was getting the same small SE. Was totally up to me to check out dimensions, but it is the same phone. Oh well; will just enjoy as is.

Pretty sturdy case. I have had the case for about a year now and it’s completely protected the backside of my phone. Even the bumpers on the front have protected my phone well. The corners of the phone are the most vulnerable spot for cracks.

Nice looking but expensive item. Ihe on/off screen button is difficult to use. I have to use my fingernail to get it to work. I would return this case but destroyed the packaging trying to get it out of the box.

The case is fine but lacking in my opinion. In the world of cases including the price, there should be high strength screen protectors included. This goes for all case providers. There are phone protection cases, but nothing for the screens.

This is cases from $10 – $90. This is crazy in my mind. Otter Box hits the high end but no screen protection. Don’t tell me that a phone never gets hit on its screen. Why should s person have to pay out more to get screen protection when they are paying $20 – $90 for a case.

This was bought for a new work phone so I didn’t care. My personal $1K plus phone, I got the complete case and screen protection package online with great protection and pricing. I just wish to make a point, nothing Best Buy sells provides 100% phone protection and way too expensive at that.

So I do like this case and am glad I found it. It’s so cute and has a fairly slim profile that doesn’t make your phone much heavier. Provides great protection as I’ve already dropped my phone a few times.

The main concern I have with this case is that the magnets for MagSafe charging are pretty weak and at times haven’t connected my phone so my phone remained uncharged all night. So I’ve just switched to a cord charger and remove the case when I need to mount my phone.

Also the little decorative black slats on the corners sometimes irritate my hands when I’m holding my phone a certain way and they don’t appear to have any functional use so they’re better off removed IMO.

But given how cute the case is I’m willing to deal with those things.

I usually prefer a plain black case on my phones. I was browsing the Speck website one day and came across the limited edition, presidio case designed by Alex and Mike. I found the design to be pretty sweet and unique, so I bought it.

I loved it the second I put it on my phone! Some will say the texture is slick. To some extent, that’s true, but with normal usage, you’ll notice a better grip as time goes on. I vote that this case become a staple so that we can purchase this design for phones down the road!! I also reached out to the designers on Instagram to thank them for the design, and they were very appreciative.

I absolutely LOVE this case. It even looks better in person, it feels super sturdy but not too bulky and AFFORDABLE. I’ve seen cases like this from other companies that charge 80-90. I got the MagSafe charger to match and they’re so perfect together! The processing & shipping was super fast as well! 12/10 all around, had an issue with the iPhone 14pro case I ordered that they resolved so quickly.

This company is amazing and I would order cases from here any time and recommend everyone else to do so as well.

I thought it was a great investment! It looks good with all of my phone cases I have. I think it’s very useful in times I can’t have a charger. The only thing that was weird is the attached metal circle that has the sticky residue on it.

It was difficult to get off and you don’t need it with every phone case. I had to peel back part of the sticky stuff, place in part of my case, then take the ring off that way. Other than that I love the functionality and accessory that it brings!.

I love that it’s a MagSafe charger it even connected magnetically to my iPhone 11 that I have for work even without magsafe. It makes charger your phone convenient without needing to be connected to a cable while still using your phone.

The only reason I gave it 4 starts is Because I wish the power pod lasted a little longer before needing to be charged itself. For the price though it is great and cute with the different prints, I want to get one more.

I recently bought this power pod for my self and it has been so fun to use. I got the matching case for my XR and the pattern is very cool. I have even received complements on the pod and case pattern from friends.

I love the compact design of the power pod but I wish it wouldn’t overheat a bit and could charge my phone faster. The shipping was amazing and the package got to my PO Box all in one piece. I also liked that it came with an adhesive magnetic ring as the XR does not have MagSafe built into it.

The power pods definitely need some fixes but overall they are very nice and are worth the money. :).

Just okay. My phone is older (pixel 3) so I didn’t expect it to work perfectly but that’s what these types of chargers are for, older phones that constantly need a boost. Charger works decently on my phone when I take the case off but I don’t want to have to do that whenever I need to charge.

Even with the added magnet the charger slowly slides off my phone with the case on. I have to lay my phone flat which works ok but if the charger isn’t perfectly placed the charger just turns off. The only way I can get it to work better is to put the magnet on the outside of that case but that ruins the aesthetic of the case.

I will only purchase it again if they start making pixel cases.

I thought this would be able to charge while I am away from a regular plug. It merely maintains the current charge you have. I have to start recharging when I’m at 60%. If I wait until it is lower, then that I start losing the charge-especially if I need to use my phone while charging it.

When using the charger, it took two hours to get 8% charged on my phone. It is nice and compact but not at all impressive. And I can no longer use my magnetic car mount because the MagSafe doesn’t stick to it.

Disappointed. Would not recommend.

I use this battery case for more then a month. Is doing what it supose to do: protect the phone and charge the phone when is needed. It have 3300 mAh, is not enough for me because I use the phone for at least 8 h for delivery and that is meaning 4G comunication, bluetooth and the screen is all this period on, plus some messengers, photo cam, LED lantern and other app used temporarly.

short: big amount of energy consumption. The baterry facing arround 3 hours, the phone as same. It was some accidenally dropping, the case is still ok and the phone was really protected. A bad point: the charging when the phone is asambled into case become much slower than is without the case, at least 1.

5 extra hour for complete charge, if the case is already charged. If the case and the phone are both discharged, will need 5-6 hours for complete (both) charged. But overall: not bad guys!.

In retrospect, You have a phone with 2 batteries. for Extended Use between charging. I have been fairly good with keeping my phone in my shirt pocket, easily reachable to use at a moments notice. But, there were sometimes, I was clumsy or miss handed the phone and it fell to the floor.

My phone sustained no damage and my Mophie was undamaged and perfectly intact. So in conclusion. A Protective Stylist case, An Extended Battery. All in one. The Mophie, in My Opinion, Is a Smart Way to Protect Your Phone For Years of Enjoyment.

Get the “Mophie “.

Fits nicely and with a lot less bulk than other battery cases. I had one for my Galaxy S6 Edge which I loved and figured I’d give this one a shot. One thing I noticed right away is that the USB-C port is a really tight fit.

It is physically smaller than the USB-C port of my phone and all of the cables I tried were a really tight fit and some would not go in all the way. I have to be very careful how I insert the cable, doing it very slowly so as to not damage the port.

I actually returned my first sample thinking it was a defect with the unit but it seems they’re all this way. I have real doubts about the longevity of this case due to this – the port will likely fail long before the battery does.

The other issue I’ve found is with the button to turn on/off charging. The juice pack I had for my S6 had a nice slider switch to turn it on, showing red and making it easy to tell the unit was on at a glance.

With this S8 model you have to press a small button for 3 seconds to turn it on or off. This big issue I have with this is that its VERY easy to accidentally turn it on or off when the phone is in your pocket due to the button being so easy to press, especially when sitting.

Many times I have taken my phone out to discover the unit was on when I didn’t want it to be (I prefer to wait till my phone’s battery is down to 50% before using the Mophie since it does generate some heat while its on), and sometimes it turns off when I do want it charging my phone! Mophie needs to bring back the slider switch – it worked much better! Other than that it does add some bulk to the phone but that is to be expected.

It’s Lightweight yet durable. your phone can smack the concrete and even tumble down the Subway stairs! This phone case has the strength to protect and is resilient enough for some peace of mind in our chaotic metropolis.

It’s got a good grip. Even with my butter fingers, this case does it’s best at keeping my phone from flying out of my hands. So far it’s been a good addition to my phones lifespan.

Seems pretty Sturdy. Grips phone tight but also hard to get in initially.

On a whim I ordered this power bank from a Facebook ad. (Thanks targeted marketing, you got me) I usually do loads of research before buying random items but I had been getting so frustrated with my iPhone 12 Pro dying by nighttime that this looked like an attractive, portable solution.

With the sale they were running I thought it was a pretty good deal. Upon using it for a couple days, I loved it enough to buy two more, so they’re always on hand! Pros: charges my phone while keeping me untethered buy cords, and also not having to juggle a phone and a power bank that are connected.

Feels very smooth and seamless with my phone and I am unencumbered by it. It also has the capability to charge other electronics though I haven’t tried to. It is small, and lightweight, easy to drop in my bag and doesn’t weigh me down.

Also fits in bigger pockets which is amazing! Price point when on sale was great. Designs are attractive, magnet is one of the strongest I’ve used, it will not just fall off your phone! Cons: Not very powerful – slow to charge and if it does have one full charge of my phone in it I’ve never left it on long enough to find out.

This doesn’t deter me because of how I use it. I just want it to keep my phone from dying before I get to a cord and that, it does. It gets very hot, which is why I tend to disconnect it as soon as I don’t need to be portable.

Retail price is high in my opinion but I bought three on sale so maybe they are worth it.

I was really excited for this purchase. I needed something to keep my phone charged. Unfortunately when I put this battery pack on the phone and heats up very fast. And it doesn’t stay magnetized very well.

Even with a casely case with the magnet. I do not love it. Thinking of returning it and just plugging it up. it almost seems like a better solution.

First know that these exact cases sell for $59 everywhere else so the $29 is a steal. I love this case. My phone stays charged all day. I am on 3 days now without plugging in the case or phone to a wall charger.

I use to charge every night – I would be at 10% by bedtime if I was lucky. Sometimes it would have to be charged before bedtime. I was considering the the charging case available at the AT&T store but it was $80 so I thought I would try this.

I just ordered 3 more. Giving as gifts. The best purchase I have made in a long time. Excited to use on our trip to Disney World. We always had to recharge midday but now, no problem!.

This is my second round with trying such a product, the first one I bought was an over priced, super fancy, name brand. It was only a matter of time, less than 6 mos, before it was broken. The power plugin on the device is a design flaw for the consumer.

Needless to say, I love the ability of having the external battery, for just in case situations. This product is a great value and I like it much better than the over priced version.

I have a graphite iPhone 13 Pro and switched from the black version of this case to the clear. Perhaps I’m losing my mind, but I swear the clear version is a bit lighter, which is nice. I will agree with other reviewers that it was incredibly hard to get on, and now that it is on I’ve noticed some smears or something on the sides and top of the phone that I think are from the case being so tight.

I’m not sure, but I’m going to see if they go away with time otherwise I will try to take it off and put it back on. Time will tell as far as how the case holds up and quite frankly regardless of any advertising I expect any cleare case to turn yellow at some point.

Overall, though I liked the raised rubber grips of previous generations as many other people did, I really do like the way the grips have now been incorporated into the same material on the new version of these cases.

Originally the “redo” of the Presidio Grip was was terrible, but when they revised it again for the iPhone 13 lineup it seems they listened to previous reviews and made some good changes. I always think the Presidio Grip has the best feel in the hand of any similar type case; the textured areas just seem to be in the right place for holding the phone securely.

Without a doubt, the clear version of this case is probably very slippery and likely not for me as I am prone to dropping my phone and also like to take it on hikes and adventures. I just agree with other reviewers who have said the buttons are difficult to press.

That is not my experience at all, unless this has been fixed since those reviews. I have always liked Speck and although I have bought other cases here and there I somehow always go back to Speck. Yes, the cases have been damaged when I have dropped my phone but my phone has always been protected.

And isn’t that the whole point? So far I’m really happy with my purchase.

I found this case to be a big disappointment. I only was looking for a temporary case to protect my phone while I wait for my one to arrive in the mail and while this case fits snug and is clear with minimal logos plastered across it, that’s where the good points ends.

The problem starts with the outside. It’s really smooth and rather slippery which isn’t ideal given that the pro max is a large phone. Even with dry hands you have to grip your phone carefully as it’s inclined to slip out.

Just a bit of moisture and it’s easily going to go out of your hands if you pick the phone up. This could have easily been fixed with a small bit of texture on the edge. The gap for the mute toggle is off centre and barely usable.

This is because the volume buttons are so over sized and chunky that if they centred the gap it wouldn’t work. It’s just a bad design choice. Speaking of the button covers. Not only are they oversized but require too much force to use.

Finally, I don’t think this case is going to protect your phone in the case of a drop. While there is a raised ledge to protect the screen and camera, which is good, the case is so rigid that all impact is going to transfer straight into the phone and not be dissipated across the case.

In conclusion. Don’t buy this case. Even as a budget offering with a very clear view of your phone there are too many issues that would result in your cool bit of tech getting broken with this case.

After using it for 3 weeks: Function: 5 stars Style: 2 stars My previous phone case was black rubber/plastic so I’m still getting used to the cons of a clear plastic one. The Ombré look is nice but I kind of wish I got the clear one instead bc it sort of looks like the bottom of the case is just “worn out from handling” as opposed to a purposeful discoloring.

The case also seems susceptible to scratches and dings more than I’d like. I dropped my phone (short drop on wood floor) a few days after I put it on and my phone was perfectly fine but I got a giant scratch at the bottom of the case.

If you’re wondering how it feels: It’s like a matte rubber surface as opposed to a shiny hard plastic so you actually get a nice comfortable grip. And the holes and buttons all aligned perfectly (and the hole for the charging port is large enough for larger sized plugs).

It’s also not heavy if you’re looking for something lightweight. Maybe I’m just being picky, but I’m glad I bought this on sale. It has good protection value but maybe not worth full price because I can see that I’ll probably have to change it in the future from getting banged up too much.

I bought this case after the batteries finally went bad on my Mophie Space case which I had for several years. Mophie no longer makes cases for the iPhone SE so I was fortunate to find this case on eBay.

I like the silver color which goes well with my space gray iPhone SE. The case is well made, the phone fits snuggly inside. It charges quickly with the phone and charges my phone up to 100% when the phone battery is low but not completely dead.

I am very happy with this purchase and do recommend it.

I purchased 4 of these battery charger cases. It easily doubles the native battery capacity of my iPhone 5s. I have dropped 3 of these from approximately 5 ft many times before I had to replace them.

The plastic does crack and absorb damage so your phone doesn’t. The USB connectors do wear out which is why I had to replace my last one. Charge/recharge cycles do not wear out the pack nearly as fast as the native battery in iPhones.

I have owned two of these before and wanted one for my new iPhone SE (2022). I have dropped phones and this case really does provide excellent edge protection. It also keeps the screen from contacting the ground.

The first time I dropped phone, I couldn’t find a mark on the Tech 21 Evo Check anywhere. I guess the easiest way to sum it up is I won’t buy a different case.

I like the concept but I don’t feel that it’s worth the price. It charges very slow but also heats the back of your phone really hot. The other thing I don’t like is you have this metal ring on the back of your phone so I’m not really into that either.

I thought it would go inside your case and then attach like that but it’s not strong enough. Not really happy with this purchase. However, I love their phone cases. They are worth it.

The item itself was cute, sleek, and portable. I did not want a case that was bulky all the time, which is why I went with this selection. I obviously like the pattern I selected. I was disappointed in the charging speed and the battery life of the pod.

If the pod is fully charge it take the entire battery of the pod to charge my phone. So you only get one use out of it.

Pretty good phone case for the price. My last one broke after a year so I decided to try this one and it’s not bad. A little light weight but seems to take falls well enough. After a fall you gotta make sure it’s still clicked together because sometimes it comes apart on 1 side.

I’d give this phone a 7/10. Not the best phone case but far from the worst. You get what you paid for but I’m happy with it overall.

It’s expensive, but it’s a good case. I’ve had it since September of 2015. I bought and placed it on my iphone 6s the day it was purchased. Never showed a single mark on the body through drops. The red you see on the back of the case is actually a thin layer of color placed on top of a body made of a black material.

After 3 years of use, it eventually came off on mine, which now shows a black canvas. It’s very vulnerable to scraping from scratches, but it doesn’t feel like plastic. The bumpers are really strong and have held really well, protecting my phone from many a fall.

The inside of the case that hugs the phone is made of a premium-like material. It was made for iphone 6s and plus so it has hole for the headphone jack, as opposed to speakers on cases for later models.

It also has a thick lip, protecting your phone from front facing drops even without a glass case, though I would still advise putting a screen protector on. The bumper and buttons are made of plastic.

The buttons on the case might fall off after heavy use.

Even though the case is refurbished with some scratches, it looks great on the phone. Leather back, TPU inner material and aluminum sides seems like a really good design decisions. Fits snugly, adds comfort for grip and hold without beeing too bulky.

The buttons have to be pushed a bit harder and you have to reach for mute button with your nail. Raised TPU edges around the front of the screen adds protection if phone falls flat on the front. In general a really stylish and functional case.

Classy looking case for your iphone 6 plus. Gives the rich look and is very sleek. Friends and family were impressed to see how slim and well it blended with the phone. Even comes with plastic to protect the back.

Will protect against normal wear and tear and drops on the back of phone. Offers no protection if the phone falls face down.
