20 Best Ipad Stand For Zoom (2023 Updated)

Feeling very comfortable to use it in any way , I bought this unique stand for my daughter. Now I am also thinking to buy this for my ipad. I am already using many products of Modern Quests , completely satisfied with all products, suits my needs& provides unique designs which everyone can use.

The tripod is very useful when working with my iPad, I would definitely recommend it without a doubt. Also the product’s design is very nice and clean looking.

This iPad easel is great!! I like how there are 3 levels of slanting the iPad. Got so I could read recipes easier. Works great!

I bought this for my husband and it is exactly what I wanted. I prefer to. put my ipad against my knees while sitting on the couch but he likes it to be upright and used at a table. It has an adjustable back angle and works with the pad vertical or horizontal.

It is lightweight yet sturdy. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love this stand! I can take it with me everywhere I take my table. Great in the kitchen to follow recipes. It looks rich also without paying a arm and leg. LOL Great for a Christmas gift also! (just a thought).

Seems to be an excellent iPad cart with lots of features, but they make a cheaper one with less features that will probably work for most people. Assembly is easy with overall excellent instructions.

I really like this cart. The best three features are the goose neck flexibility, height adjustment, and the ability to rotate in my opinion. These provide excellent ability to secure the iPad in exactly the right location, angle, position for whatever you are using it for.

(I like to watch movies from a message chair). It has wheels so very easy to move and then wheels can be locked in place when desired if fixed location needed. It has a little pocket storage unit that is very small, probably mostly only useful for battery to keep the tablet going if you keep it locked in place at all times.

Speaking of the lock, there is a lock that secures the tablet in place. If not using it commercially, I really do not see the point in this and it adds extra expense. (Even if used commercially not sure that this really helps with security since the cart is so light and mobile anyway).

This thing really does hold my iPad 12. 9 firmly and securely! Overall, I am happy with my purchase, but it is really overkill and I should have bought the cheaper version on Amazon that does not lock but seems to do everything else.

It didn’t look good right out of the box but I patiently read through the detailed instructions and eventually got it right. The two pieces of plate steel that make up the base must cross each other in ONLY ONE WAY.

There is no in indication on the pieces as to which one goes on top. I found out when I put the wheels on and bolted it together that I had done it wrong. I knew that there was something wrong because the base did not sit flat on the floor.

You will need to watch out for that. You may see something in the instructions about that but I did not. That error really slowed me down and was discouraging. The flexible gooseneck was quite stiff.

The complete unit is quite heavy but that’s good because you will want it to stay in place after you adjust it. All four wheels are the locking type. The attachment on top grabs your ipad firmly. There is no way for it to slip out and fall on the floor like others will do.

It grabs it on opposite corners which is very unique. I use mine to shoot over my shoulder when I am shooting cooking videos for U Tube. It would work great for any type of video like that. I don’t use mine everyday but there will be many occasions when it will be great.

Shooting videos with an Ipad is challenging anyway without some way to hold your Ipad steady. It’s bad enough because the screen is impossible to see in the bright sunshine. Other than that deficiency, the Ipad is now my go-to device for shooting almost everything.

I remember when the ipad first came out, one commentator wondered out loud what the thing would be good for. I still laugh about that one.

It’s a little rough and ready but it does what it is supposed to. Assembly was complicated by the hole in the nut cover that slides down over the black portion of the stand being too small. A little filng with a round file got it fitted.

Also, the bolt for the set screw on the flexible portion of the stand came with a wing instead of an allen key head. I didn’t install the battery holder as it interfered with turning the collar that loosens and tightens the chromed, movable portion of the stand.

If you’re handy it’s good for the price.

The IPad stand is really handy. The height is at a comfortable eye level. Excellent for scanning average sized documents and photos.

I used it for ipad demo for court presentations. Doubles as document camera stand/elmo using the ipad. Two minor issues 1. Isn’t high enough to display an entire 8. 5×11 document. 2. The base is thick so paper doesn’t lay flat.

Sturdy — press button on left for four different angles. Tablet does not slide as it is well supported. Stylus is not junk and saves the screen from smeared fingerprints. Highly recommend

I purchased this to use with an iPad Air 2 in the kitchen for recipes and such. It holds the iPad in both horizontal and vertical positions, and is sturdy enough to handle the weight of the tablet with no problem.

The viewing angle is easily adjusted (after pushing the little button in on the hinge, you simply adjust the stand to the desired position) and includes a stylus that fits in the hinge when not using.

When I am not using it, if folds flat and fits in a drawer. This was exactly what I was looking for, and I could not be happier!.

This is advertised as a “prep” tablet holder, but I use it to hold my new, larger NOOK reader steady on my table so I can enjoy a good story while having lunch. It’s small and compact, the handy stylus is tucked away but easy to grab if you need it.

Works well enough. It is secure. We screwed it down. The steel security cable is of nice quality. But it has a few issues. The clamping mechanism took some time to configure, using the foam pads to create the right fit for our 12.

9î iPad Pro. We had to remove the iPad from it normal protective case to mount it. The case is a thin one. My thought is that it should fit with it. The rotation feature is nice, but it doesnít hold well.

I have to align it past the position I want and it will settle back a bit. Takes a few tries to get it to line up landscape properly. When it is rotated to landscape, it isnít center side-to-side over the base.

The bigger the iPad, the worse the offset.

This is the right price for me. I bought two for a tradeshow and they seem secure. Major pro- they are well balanced and tight. A bunch of people typing on them and they stand firm and easy to use. Major con- for the kindle fire hd8 you have to choose whether you want it to press the volume button or block the charging port.

If you loosen it then it wont press the button but it also wont hold the kindle firmly. Ive messed with it endlessly and cant get it to not interfere with something.

What they don’t show in the images is the stand is intended to hold the screen in a Portrait style. We were hoping to use these in conference settings, and now when we turn the screen Landscape style, the screen is uneven from the base, making it unsteady for larger screens.

It CAN sit by itself that way, but if it’s an interactive screen (as we use ours) I don’t trust someone touching it and not accidentally knocking it over. It’s not impossible to deal with, I just think we need a clamp of some sort to secure it to any table.

If you have a smaller screen this likely won’t be an issue.

The description of the mount states it will not hold my Tablet S4 or S6. I looked through several website to see if this holder could hold the tablets and I come up with no results. The only way to find out was purchasing to try it out.

Luckily, this does fit both of my tablets with a bulky case. The only downside is that the case is bulky so it does not fit perfectly in the holder. The rubberized grip helps with holding the tablet in place.

Some people may not like that is does not fit into the slot, if that is the case you can remove it from the case or look for a different holder.

It’s functional. Not very impressed though. Needed something to attach to my tripod and CS rep at best buy shower me the product and as if he was guessing he basically said that was what they had. Was in a time crunch and needed it so I bought.

After one use I went to Amazon and ordered a much better one at a better price. This product is now my back up.

This mount has a swiveling base that allows you to easily shift your tablet from landscape to portrait mode. This would be a useful feature except that to make this adjustment, you have to loosen the main clamp screw; thus you loosen the hold that the mount has on your tablet, making it susceptible to shifting or falling out.

The concept would work if the design had separate screws for the clamp and the pivot; combining those two functions on just one screw is a huge design flaw. Also, the arms are not deep enough to securely hold an average tablet once it’s housed in an average case.

I recommend that you look for a spring-clamping mount with deeper arms instead.

This is a remarkably good and stable iPad stand. The rubber grip on the stand and the hinges both offer sturdy support. The weighted non-slip base is also a really nice touch that keeps your tablet in place.

Of course, you probably knew this from the other reviews. I am an expat who travels a fair amount (even in current times) and I like how easily this stand folds and fits into luggage. It’s about half the size of an iPad folded down and can just safely go inside a few shirts.

It doesn’t have any sharp edges and won’t damage your suitcase or anything inside. I’m looking forward to taking this on shorter trips in the future as I ween off of the laptop. The only change I’d suggest (and it’s not a difficult one) is making the logo a darker gray so it matches the aluminum color better.

The build quality of the item is of very high quality. It articulates smoothly, enough weight to item that it will not shift on stand when using. It raises the item to a more comfortable height on desk for eyesight.

The only thing I can say as a negative, it appears there are different shades of color of product. I was expective a more silver stand, but it appears to be space grey. I was not given an option for color when ordering, so I assumed it would be a standard color.

I’m honestly not sure though.

This is a top-notch product: its balance; weight; function (and good looks) are perfect for setting and keeping my iPad at a safe and comfortable viewing angle. It also comes at a fair price, shipped cross-border quickly and problem-free (I’m up in Canada).

Bought this to use in the kitchen to make viewing online recipes easier when cooking. It certainly does the job taking up minimal space and looking stylish too. It’s good quality and seems to be well made.

One small gripe is that the tablet stands at quite a steep angle which is fine when just viewing the screen but making it a little difficult when you want to use the touchscreen keyboard. Not a deal breaker as it’s easy enough to pick up the tablet to do so.

I would buy again.

The table stand is perfectly designed to safely hold my tablet in the right position for easy use and stability. It looks good without being over designed and fits into my desk space no problem. I can easily reach out and use my tablet single handed with no fear of it shifting or toppling over.

Great as a sturdy stand for tablet, phone or clipboard, eg if copy typing or mirroring content to computer screen. It holds a book or notepad too. Stylish and strong, could use to stream videos, in bedroom, living room, kitchen or office.

Easy clean. Better than I expected. (Price was a little cheaper when I got mine though).

I have tried so many for this tablet, I also use it on my kindle while taking a bath. It is perfect, and stable. Whomever came up with this idea is a genius.

my husband was disappointed that his iPad pro will not balance on this stand but it works great for phones. My only suggestion would be to make the cutouts a bit larger to accommodate phone cases

I waded through pictures of wall mounts for days for one that looked sturdy. the same cheap low quality ones showed up repeatedly but eventually I caught a glimpse of this waaay down the pecking orderSublime really.

More rigid than even Id hoped for as solid aluminium with rubberizised joints clamp and actually it will fit ANY one tablet I say one because you can actually put TWO of the same tablet side by side.

and lock the frame with the Allen key they will hold however they would be locked in lengthways so size restriction with that configuration. I use an iPad Pro 11 but again testament its sturdiness it will not budge full rotationany which way and theres even a sticky plastic part supplied for attaching to tablets and locking into place for extra hold but its tight enough the springloaded clamp mechanism is really strong.

Really well thought out craftsmanship and execution using quality materials and theres even two keys for the hinges provided. Should you need to loosen them up.

A great wall mount. You need the key that comes with to unscrew the device from the mount. These keys are universal so one key fits all.Great item but a little on the pricey side I think personally.

Excellent quality of all connections, metal legs and ball mounts. But its an absolutely disgusting plastic connection between the last leg and the tablet holder. This connection has a huge backlash, the plate of the tablet shakes on the leg when driving.

I bought it as logbook holder for my semi truck. It will be broken in few months. Yes, it is convenient to unfasten the tablet holder from the leg. But the connection is made ugly. A good example of how a superbly made product can be completely spoiled by one small detail.

I do not recommend it, guys.

The mount looks strong but the I pad holder bracket is plastic and its very week it broke off in no time from a bit a vibrating in my truck , and they dont warranty any dont buy BAD quality

Mounted it in the kitchen to hold my tablet that I use as my cooking guide / book / instructional help. Compact enough to fit under cabinet and can be “swung” up and out of the way if need be.

Too expensive for what you get. Feels nice and looks nice but that’s where it ends. It was hard to latch close and it didn’t want to stay in the grooves that was made for it to stay upright. They were thin and narrow and even though the other side had a piece to go in it just not enough there to be sturdy.

We bought for my Dad that was in hospital at time as iPadPro 12. 9 was better than tv in hospital to watch and every time we touch the thing it wanted to fall over. Just not sturdy. The latch was very difficult to use.

It was also narrow and flimsy and you had to connect it just right to get it to smash together and lock. Very hard to do.

Arguably the best iPad case I’ve ever owned. It’s literally perfect, or very close. I’ve owned every iPad from the mini to the latest 12. 9 Pro, so I’ve owned a lot of cases…overall, the Speck is at the top.

I’ve even owned other Speck iPad cases, they were not comparable to this one. From the material, to the latch, to the inside frame, to the pencil holder, this case is a 9. 5 or 10. Personally, I would’ve preferred a darker color (navy or black) but the color it comes in, sorta grey, is very attractive and it also seems like it will be durable.

I like Speck products, and for the most part, you get what you get with this. It protects your iPad. My issues with it are that it’s a bit bulky, and the extra bulk makes the iPad Pro seem a bit unwieldy when you reading in bed or watching a movie on the couch.

Yes, it’s nice to have the options to stand it up and the protection is definitely good. Just too bulky for me, so I went and bought the Apple version. Yeah, it’s overpriced, but the streamlined nature of that makes it work better for me.

I have never written a review before. This is a marvelous piece of engineering. The stand holds the iPad well and can be moved to almost any position. The tablet is held in place by elastic bands which can be adjusted to conform with almost any tablet size.

It takes about 15 seconds to mount or dismount the tablet from the stand. You do not have to remove the tablet from its case. It moves around quite nicely on most rugs although it might be difficult with a shag rug.

I enjoy reading while laying on my back or in the recliner Chair. In this position my arms would get tired and if I became drowsy the iPad would slip out of my hands. With the Levo, you can just take a little nap and everything will be fine.

I bought this as a gift for my Mom. She loves to play games on her iPad. She was recently diagnosed with herniated discs in her neck that prevented her from using her iPad much. Now that she has this stand, she can position herself comfortably and bring the stand towards her.

It’s very sturdy and easy to use.

I have vision problems and use the iPad everyday for reading. I read books in the evening and I found my iPad was always sliding out of the bed or rolled on if I fell asleep. This stand holds the iPad securely and safely.

It has indefinite height adjustments which allow me to get very close to the iPad for playing music. My only critique would be that the base is so heavy I am unable to carry the stand up and down the stairs.

Guess I will have to buy another one!!!.

I ordered what I thought was a good portable solution for my iPad Pro. The tripad stand did not fit my iPad Pro, there was no available attachment I could buy for it, and the only other option was a non collapsible stand.

No choice but to return the product. I had to pay shipping both ways PLUS a 20% restocking fee! I ended up paying practically the cost of the stand, but I still don’t have a stand. If I engineered this product, I would have created one attachment for small tablets, and another that fits larger iPads like mine.

Needed this for a DIY wedding photo booth. It arrived in perfect condition, was easy enough to figure out without instructions (but it comes with instructions anyway), and held really nicely outside on a moderately windy day.

I’ve used Aluratek products before & they don’t disappoint. I’ve had a similar product but that was stolen by TSA. Anyway, it’s well made steel triangular flat folding tripod with flip out tabs (see their product photos).

The angulation height is adjustable. I use it for a UMPC laptop to raise/increase air circulation below/behind. I also position a small iPad/large Android tablet as well. Purchased a few. They’re also great for holding onto those digital photo frames rather than mounting them on the walls.

They’re well made, lightweight & fold to the thickness of thick chopstick cases. RECOMMEND: buy a few, I did.

I frequently take my tablet with me to a local pub to catch up on some shows. I have a folio with a BT keyboard, but it takes up a lot of space on table. This thing is perfect for those times when I want to use my tablet sans keyboard, without having to hold it.

Nice picture stand holder. I am using it to hold My video picture frame. The frame needs to be set well balanced otherwise it slides close. Once you set it right it stays if nothing throws it out of balance.

If you did your homework looking for iPad stands as I did, you know there are a lot out there, some vastly more expensive. I am flabbergasted at the good construction of this equipment for under $40.

It is all metal construction except for the tightening collar on the telescope stem and the head that holds the tablet. Those are made of sturdy plastic, perhaps ABS. The head keeps a sturdy grip on the tablet and (maybe due to earlier complaints) 2 round pads are supplied to account for different tablet thicknesses.

All mounting hardware is included, complete with anchors and bolts if you want to fix it to the floor. Each foot is drilled for those bolts (or for castors, not supplied, if you want it to roll). I probably will put adhesive cork pads on each foot to prevent scratching wood floors.

Because the tablet grips are on diagonal corners, there is no interference with charging cable or camera (at least on iPad). The telescope height adjusts from a low that is good for direct face height for seated virtual meetings to a standing lectern height for presenting material from the tablet.

The telescope has a “stop” that prevents it from hyperextending or coming apart. The head has a diagonal range of 8″ to 16″. One end is adjustable with a quick release and the other end is fixed but sprung to grip your device snugly.

My original iPad Air in its case fits fine. The invitation to review products comes almost immediately after the purchase without much chance to try it out. Such is the case for me and my opinion may change with time and usage, but for now, this is a well made product beyond what I expected for the price.

The item that arrived was a different version of this product and had only a fixed bracket for a particular sized device. The description and photos for this stand clearly indicate the ability to mount different device sizes, and that is what we expected.

We’ve returned and have been promised the correct item as replacement. Waiting to see if Bed Bath and Beyond can rectify this major fail.

I just purchased this stand and it’s outstanding. Incredibly portable and lightweight, brilliantly designed for both form and function, and aesthetically minimalist and unobtrusive. While I’ve only had the stand for a few days, the stand, along with the companion pouch/mouse pad that comes with it, appears to be of very high quality.

The stand can easily be used for travel, but I have it set up at home to convert my laptop to an ergonomic workstation in my small apartment. I am using the stand with theLogitech Wireless Combo MK270 with Keyboard and Mouse , which I highly recommend, and a 13″” 3+ pound laptop.

I plan to only take out the stand when I’m using my laptop at home – it takes just a minute or two to properly set up and put away. The stand is easy to adjust and raises my laptop higher than most stands that are this compact and well-made.

You basically adjust the height and angle from the back, as you would a beach or lounge chair. There is plenty of space behind the set-up to tuck away wires. I also plan to use the stand for my Kindle – the width is easily adjustable by sliding the panel-shaped sides horizontally in/out.

I have one major quibble and several smaller ones. The biggest issue is that while the stand provides a good 8-9″” lift to my laptop screen, it falls short of the optimal height, which is at eye level.

This is with a standard laptop that opens fully to 180 degrees – with laptops that can’t open all the way, the maximum height is even less. I’m on the petite side, so this will be even more problematic for taller people.

It’s a shame, because the stand is otherwise so perfectly designed – and it doesn’t seem so tough to tweak the design to provide the additional height. While I plan to keep this stand, I now feel the need to purchase theRoost Laptop Stand – Portable & Adjustable (For Apple MacBook and PC) Eye-Level Ergonomic for Productivity, Lightweight folding for travel, Universal Fit, Compact & Strong as well, as it appears to provide the optimal additional inches.

I do prefer the Goldtouch for its design, aesthetics, and simplicity, and unlike the Roost, it can be used for smaller devices in addition to laptops. But ultimately the Roost will likely be more functional (and better for one’s back).

Re: more minor quibbles: The aluminum is on the thin side (no doubt to keep the unit as lightweight as possible), and is a tad rough around some edges. As such, the metal can feel a tad sharp – no doubt, you could cut yourself if you happen to handle the stand the wrong way.

Also, the two front ‘legs’ are composed of a hard, slippery plastic, so while there is a rubbery mount on the back stand to minimize slippage, the stand can slide around. The stand is still stable – it doesn’t wobble with the laptop on it, and should work perfectly fine on a standard sized desk or table at home.

I’d just worry about using it on a small table, at a coffeeshop, etc. , where someone might acidentally brush against it. I’d love to see the metal a touch more finished and heavyweight, and perhaps the addition of silicone or other rubbery material on the front legs.

I looked at many other laptop stands before settling on this one, and believe that along with the Roost, this is far and away the best, and worth the heftier price (at least as of the time of this review in April 2016).

In general, I think this style of stand works better than those that have the laptop sitting horizontally on a shelf-type contraption. In addiiton to being more adjustable, this type of stand, where the laptop is held ‘upright’, gets the laptop screen closer to you without the keyboard depth getting in the way.

Also, the shelf style stands tend to be less compact (and not foldable). On the downside, this design is less stable, and doesn’t allow for a neat contained space underneath the laptop. where some folks like to tuck away their keyboard and other accessories when unused.

In general, I’d only recommend the shelf-type stand for those who want to keep the stand permanently out, and even then, I prefer the style of this Goldtouch. I was close to getting a full-sized monitor and keyboard set to use with my laptop, and am so happy I discovered this solution and the Roost instead.

I wish I had known of these types of stands much earlier! It would have saved me from lots of backache. I’ll try to update this review if I learn anything more as I continue to use the stand.

Love having the option of using my laptop in a raised position so I donít have to keep my head down at an awkward angle that causes my neck to ache. It is lightweight and versatile with adjustable extenders on the side so I can use it with my 13 inch laptop and my 17 inch laptop.

It folds flat, comes with a storage pouch, and fits easily in a laptop bag. I just wish it raised an inch or so more. Otherwise this is a great product!.

This has been a great work from home improvement getting my laptop’s screen up to my head is not looking down! I removed a star due to the sharpness of the front stand. I have a wooden table and it’s scratched the surface.

Placing masking tape over the sharp metal has resolved this. I hope Goldtouch can improve this in a future version.

I bought this rotating tablet system for my daughter while remote learning and it’s worked like a charm. It holds her iPad in place and it looks great on her desk. Good purchase.

I like the iPad holder but I wish it went up to make it higher or lower. It tilts, and goes right to left I just wish it went higher and lower.

Worked perfectly for our business ipad

I was very excited to try this because I lie in my bed a lot with my tablet propped up against a plain bed pillow. Very recently I had an oops moment when I was doing just that and turned my head to the left and reached my arm out to grab something and the tablet fell and cracked me right on the forehead really hard.

It was funny, but painful. I couldn’t wait to try this out, lol! After using it for a while now, I can only say that it’s just “okay”. Not awful, but probably not the best one out there, and here’s why I say that: First of all, it’s not “hard” to open, but you do need to use a little oomph.

I opened it for the first time with the hinges facing and up against my chest area and started to pry it open and the hinges gave my chest a very painful pinch. Ouch. Watch out for that. Second, I am not a flat bellied human being.

I have a round, jiggly, doughy belly. My tablet is an S6 and it’s in a protective case. It’s got a little bit of weight to it. When I lie on my back with this on my stomach and my tablet on this pillow, it falls over unless I have it positioned to where it’s almost lying flat.

I can’t see the screen that way though. So I place it on the ledge on the pillow and position it so that I can see the screen, and I have to hold it in place with 1 hand the whole time or it will fall over.

I probably wouldn’t have that problem if I were less doughy, but it is what it is. It does work fine when I am sitting up in my bed, sort of leaning back against the pillows and this pillow is in my lap.

I just don’t often use my tablet that way due to back issues, so I had hoped I could use this lying down. Third, it doesn’t always stay closed. It usually pops right back open every time I close it. If it’s closed when I set it down, the next time I reach for it it will have popped open again.

Lastly, the storage space inside is kind of pointless. Anything that is thin enough to fit in there when it’s closed will likely also be thin enough to slide right out of the sides. I tried keeping Amiibo cards and receipts in there and they just slid right out of one of the sides pretty quickly.

It’s also worth nothing that it’s kind of cheap looking and feeling. The black fabric cover on mine is very thin and loose and saggy. It feels like it might be easily torn. The plastic feels kind of low quality.

All that being said, I AM using it and it IS preferable to my setup that I had before, when the tablet fell and slapped me in the head. It is helpful and if I spent more time sitting up with my tablet I’d probably like it a little more.

I use this to hold my tablet when I’m watching a video or scrolling through social media pages. It keeps my hands free to do other things too so I can watch my favorite music video while doing the dishes or folding laundry.

My girlfriend took it and used it to help her follow a makeup tutorial. It sat right in front of her and she had both hands free to apply her makeup and follow along in real time. She loves it as well now.

It’s great that you can use it at a variety of different angles which helps if you want to recline and watch something or of you’re laying down in bed. I have also used it to hold my smart phone too.
