We use this tablet holder in a ford transit 350 to hold and iPad Air 2 in a folio case and it fits nicely. We do a lot of maps/directions and this allowed us to adjust the iPad to the perfect viewing angle that keeps our eyes on the road more.

I will say that the depth of an iPad it can hold is a bit minimal. It can definitely hold an iPad without a case, but once you put it in a case, it starts to get tighter. The folio fits nicely and a tough case (like an otter box) can be held, but barely.

If your case has a hand strap on the back, it will probably not fit. Overall though, it does as advertised and is a sturdy metal arm. The cup part seems like it will fit most cup holders, as it is expandable.

I wanted to use my tablets in car for GPS and maps, but I could not find anything that would not fall down or slide on the dash. I had a cup holder for tablets before, so I was hesitant to try another.

However I am extremely pleased with this one. The price might be more than you want to pay, but this is well worth the price. It is very sturdy metal framing that securely locks in place. There are two extension pieces that allow it to become longer.

Since it has two points of motion in the frame you can contort it anyway that allows you to comfortably view or use your tablet. An iPad Pro 9. 7 and a Fire HD 10 and 8 fit perfect. Easy to remove and insert.

The metal clips that hold the tablets also have 3M soft pads so they don’t scratch the ends. I have my iPad in Otterbox and it still works perfect. I am very pleased and give it a full 5 stars.

Was a nice set up for our 8 hour car ride. And has become a weekly use item now. Good distance away from 2. 5 year old in froward facing car seat. Can bounce a little over rough roads but the weight of the tablet helps calm this.

Could limit this more if I clamped it down tighter against seatback but did not want to cause an indent in leather. Fit my previous generation 10. x” iPad and current gen 9. x” iPad Pro with no issues including covers on both with simple, quick adjustments.

A real life saver on a cross country drive. We have a two and a half year old who otherwise would have gone nuts (or driven us nuts) on a drive from Minnesota to the East coast. It’s easily adjusted for various sizes devices, but won’t get small enough to really hold a phone unless you rotate it.

The mount was easy to attach. It opens fairly wide and will fit around larger tablets than it advertises, however if the tablet is too large it will slip and face down from the weight. Its only adjustments are up and down, no tilting or aiming it to a different seat.

This phone holder is very nice. It is well made. It is a good buy. If I was thinking of buying one. Take a good look at where your CD is located. This holder works great.

I had high Hope’s. It broke soon as I put it in the cd slot. A weak point in it is where it attached to the tablet clip. If you tighten up the bracket for the cd slot the two screws that attach the bracket for the clip break.

Very easy to install and there are videos online that show you how to do it. I say near-perfect because there are a couple of things I think could be improved. First, the two adjustable sliding lower brackets, upon which the tablet rests, rattle while you are driving when your tablet is not in the holder.

I discovered that you must close the two sliding brackets together and, for extra secureness, place a rubber band around them. Second, the cup holders in my 2016 Honda Accord are set back such that when I tried to use the cupmount base, no amount of adjustment allowed me to position the tablet in a comfortable position; therefore, I had to use the dashmount base instead.

All said though, I am very pleased with this product and I have not experienced the problem reported by some users stating that their tablet falls out of the holder because, they believe, the holder is too flimsy.

I have had this mount in my semi truck for a few weeks now. It holds my iPhone 13 PM or my iPad 12. 9 for easy viewing. The suction cup has failed once due to negligence on my part (I forgot to clean the dash) I used a small bungee cord to help hold it in place and to cut down on vibration.

So I was looking for a car mount to hold a phone and big enough for a tablet. So I settled for this universal cd slot mount. Now, this is all plastic but I have never had any issues with satechi products.

I purchased 2 of these headrest mounts for dvd tv’s. The mounts hold the weight and have never fell off. Occasionally, I have to reposition, which is expected. The only issue I’ve had (my fault) was I put the clear plastic film on the tv, instead of putting the metal plate directly on the TV.

The clear plastic allows the metal mounting plate to be removed easier. Very satisfied with the product, highly recommended.

I received this product free as a part of the Spark Review Program. This product is great. The magnet is very strong so you don’t need to worry about it falling off. A phone or a newer light tablet will have no trouble staying on.

The mount can be angled quite a bit to deal with a seat that is reclined to a comfortable upright seating position. The mounting hardware, though plastic, is seemingly durable. I would take care tightening the knobs as they might strip out.

I spend a lot of time in the mountains and back country of the southwest. I use a tablet for navigation and tracking my travels. The large screen makes it much easier to see fine details on maps and Google Earth images.

I installed this mount on a 2020 F-250. I used the optional bracket as the seat-mount bracket is not what to use with the plastic covers Ford puts on their new trucks. If this was going into a 1980 Chevy, one could use the seat bolt just fine (and many more applications).

I use this with the first generation iPad (yes, it’s ancient now), and it’s probably one of the heaviest tablets you can put into this contraption. It does hold it well though. You can also flip it over to hold smaller items like your phone.

The straps are attached to the long sides of the rectangle, and they come together with sturdy Velcro. Therefore, the straps will go around your headrest vertically if you want the long side of your tablet to be horizontal like you are viewing a TV.
