20 Best Ipad Case For Drawing (2023 Updated)

I’m a 100% Sure that if my iPad falls it won’t break. That’s what a Mous case does for you. Now, I wish the case design would’ve been nicer. I always have to watch and be careful to where I open my screen cover, because the fabric that faces the screen when it’s closed, is the same fabric that’s facing the table where you place it in landscape mode.

And if it’s dirty, all of that is going to your screen. I attached a picture of my iPad 6th Gen case which addresses this issue. I believe the same design could be applied to the next version of this Mous case.

See last pic…Instead of flipping from above as a separate leg to hold the iPad…use the same mechanism to open from below, and at the same time holding the tablet. It’s basically what you have right now, but reversed.

Se the pic with the other iPad. I’ll accept a free case, if you indeed do this. If not, at least I got it off my chest. 🙂.

This case is excellent. Holds the device extremely securely. it’s actually challenging to remove. The multiple angle recesses on the case flap work just fine. They can slip if you push too hard on the tablet, but for just viewing and light typing or stylus use it’s very functional.

You can lock the lowest angle setting very securely by folding the magnetic end of the flap over the back edge of the lower angle mounting recess. I really like how the apple pencil is securely held to the ipad with the flap.

It’s not going anywhere with this, whereas out of a case or with my magic keyboard, the pencil has come off in the back pack or fallen on the ground before. Overall great case.

Got what I expected as always. Really good quality product. Doesn’t add bulk to my iPad Pro. Love how the case rises above the screen to add protection ( I still suggest a screen protector) You just can not go wrong with this product.

The buttons are nice and easy to press. The price is acceptable with what you get. All of my devices are protected by Mous. Once you get a case through them. You’ll never need another. I’ve only had to buy one per device.

Unless you’re throwing your phone down consecutively every single day. You will not see any wear or tear. But let’s keep in mind. Majority of the time if something falls on concrete it’s gonna get a ding.

But honestly speaking this product is indestructible. BUY IT NOW!!!.

, The magnet at the back which helps to keep it in an upright position is not very good and it collapses all the time when you are trying to read on it. For the high price it should be much better. I have had others for half the price that were a lot better.

I’ve bought several STM Dux cases over time for different iPads for myself or family members. They look good, work very well either flat or as a stand, and give excellent protection to the iPad.

Elegant appearance. Very precise fit. Slender. Very strong protection. Easy to use. All features present as described and work 100%. Auto sleep wake magnets are nice to have; I wouldn’t even consider a cover without this feature.

iPad is held very securely, the flip side of this is to be very careful when bending things to remove it. The adjustable stand feature only works for landscape but it still is very valuable to have. It would be cool if Speck could make it work in portrait also, but I am very happy to have this cover just the way it is.

The little spot that accomodates the charging adaptor is a loose fit and you can lose the adaptor without knowing it. It’s nothing really, but everything else is so securely held in place that one might overlook this and not realize it when the adaptor falls out.

The ink well stand can alternatively be used to hold the second tip Apple provides for their pencil. I was sweating bullets with my iPad being naked and am very happy to have it protected now in the Speck.

I spent hours reviewing different cases – I purchased three other brands in addition to the Speck case. Speck by far is the best of them all. The only thing that it didn’t have that I was looking for is a small pocket.

However the pencil protection was far more important. This Speck case is the only one I could find that protected the pencil as well. Other cases had a place to put the pencil but they were fashioned in a way that i could see the pencil falling out easily and either breaking or getting lost.

This case secures both the pad and pencil in just that right fashion. I read some reviews that said the speakers were blocked so I was a bit hesitant about that; I’m glad I went ahead and made the purchase.

Actually I putchase two cases one for me and one for my husband. After putting one ipad pro in it’s case I left the other ipad pro out of its case and compared the sound quality between the two. There is no distortion, nor reduced volume or quality.

The speaker scoops nicely direct the sound towards me, as I used to have to do with my older ipads.

I’ve used SPEC cases previously and have been very satisfied so when I upgraded to a new iPad Pro 9. 7 I immediately went an ordered this case. I had trouble with online ordering I called and placed my order.

Just before giving my credit card info I happened to see the couple of negative reviews. I questioned the rep on the phone about the fit of the case for the new iPad and was assured that the case was specifically designed for the new iPad Pro.

I took his word and completed the order. It came quickly and immediately opened. Surprisingly the listing on the packaging states iPad Air II first and then the iPad Pro. Once unwrapped I fitted the case to the new iPad only to find that the case couldn’t have been designed for this new iPad Pro.

There were the standard cutouts for the two speakers found on the older iPads and not the four found on the Pro. The camera cutout was the same. Would fit the older model but didn’t come close to the new camera configuration.

I again feel SPECK makes a quality case but disappointed with this particular case. To give SPECK the Benifit of doubt, I called to make sure I was sent the correct case and assured again the case was the right one.

SPECK understood my disappointment and had me send the case back using the prepaid return label. SPECK uses the US Postal Service which meant just handing the rewrapped package to the mailman. I would highly recommend SPECK for their line of products but just not this one.

This case fits the 6th gen Ipad very well. I feel like it has great protection on the front and back. The front cover is a gorgeous teal green. The backside is clear acrylic and it doesn’t completely cover the back but it covers it enough to protect it well.

Just as good as any Apple smart cover but better because it protects the backside as well!.

This case is great for family use, as it provides a lot of protection when your iPad is used by the kids too. It feels nice to hold and the magnetic clip feels secure when closed.

The case doesn’t fully cover the iPad. Not worth the price.

When I got my iPad I was disappointed with the price and options Apple had for cases, so I came to eBay. Ive used Poetic cases before, and they are lovely. This one with the wake/sleep cover is super convenient, and the slot for the pen makes it even better! The material is slightly flexible so I dont have to worry about it cracking at the corners, like hard cases do, and its clear so I can see the back of my iPad, which I love.

All in all, this case is everything I wanted in a case, and at an excellent price. I only wish it came in purple! But black is good too :).

Love the slim profile of the case and cover. Everything is about quality. Love the unique pencil holder as it is holding the Apple Pencil well in place. However, after applying a layer of slickwrap decal to the Pencil, the holder becomes too tight.

It is not the fault of the manufacturer but just a caution to those who is using decal to protect the Pencil. Still love the case and highly recommending this to the ipad 2018 owners.

The clear part is rubber and not hard plastic so it makes getting the Apple Pencil our easy if you have it. You have to bend the plastic to remove the pen and snap the iPad back into the case but since its a soft plastic you dont have to worry about it scratching the edge of the iPad.

The Smart Cover however is pretty delicate Ive had it for one day and it already has a slight indentation from being stored in my backpack and being pressed against something. Its a pretty decent case for the price, I would recommend if you dont mind the Smart Cover being extremely delicate.

Very lovely case, that keeps the iPad slim and works exactly as you expect and. The picture doesnt do the colour justice as it makes it look more grey but, in person it actually has a really nice metallic silver sheen to it.

Love that the back is clear to show of the exterior of the actual device itself.

Product was sold as new but the cover had stains and was used.

Fits the iPad really great, and the blue colour is stunning.

I have three children and two are in highschool. One named Kyle and the other Kassidy. I bought two cases for them to use on their iPads for online learning. My children are VERY careful about how they treat things, and tend to be very possessive of their belongings and over-protective.

They cleaned the cases daily and cared for it. Two days into use, a key popped out. Kyle easily popped it back in, but we were extremely concerned about the quality of this product now. I personally have a flat keyboard such as this and I have had it for 10 years, no issues.

And, for bonus points, I didn’t take very good care of it either. Kass also had two keys pop out at the same time just a day after Kyle’s keycaps fell off, which really scared her because she thought she may have broken something.

The parts inside of the keys popped out and flung across their study room, and in further inspection, the parts are just cheap plastic. Kass loves to study about modern technology such as laptops, iPads, phones, and keyboards.

She absolutely loves pulling apart broken keyboards and seeing what’s wrong with them. However, when she tried to put the contents of the keys back in, they didn’t fit together anymore. They didn’t stay in place, they were extremely loose.

For more drastic measures, we decided to carefully pull a keycap off (she didn’t mind) and we touched the contents of the keys. Low and behold, they stuck to my finger like melted glue. Tried putting it back together, didn’t stick.

There are four of these little metal prickles that each keycap has under it, and that’s what holds the other parts in place. These ‘prickles’ didn’t hold a single dust particle. They were so short and stubby as if someone had already broken it off.

Well, sorry for this extremely long rant, but I just needed to document what happened because I’m not suggesting this to the person who even killed my dog. Sorry. 🙂 -Reneé S.

this is literally a monstrosity of a product =D all i have to do is rest my hand on the keys for 15-20 minutes, and they’ll be stickin’ to meh arm. no joke, i have already popped out 3 keys just by doing this.

the case is suuuuupa flimsy by default, it really is not suitable to place on ur lap for any period of time, cause it just wobbles CONSTANTLYYY!! its sooo annoying cuz i’ll be tryin to do online school and then my case will fall back wards from resting on my lap, causing my ipad to literally SWING OUT OF THE CASE LMFAOOO i have had to get my screen replaced once because it just flopped face-first onto my tiles -_- but emmmm yeah i really do not recommend this product, like, give it to the person who ran ur cat over or smth lol oh and also the apple pencil sleeve dont even keep the pen INNNNNN IT JUST FALLS OUTTTTT i literally just put my pen on my nightstand n then lose it n cant find it cuz i DO NOT trust it in my case at least the spiders will take better care of my pencil -w-.

I purchased this for my son. In just a few months, some of the keys started to pop off. Even though JB were great and replaced the cover, the staff member insinuated that the keys coming off was very uncommon, so my son must have done something to cause it.

I wish that I had read these reviews prior. The same thing has happened again, along with the magnetic strip at the top of the case. Very disappointing as there are not many alternatives for a keyboard case out there.

The first case the tab fell off. Had to glue it back on only fall off again. I love the color and signature Kate Spade flowers. Took the first one back after having it for a week. Hopefully. this one will last longer.

Apple pen does not stay in the holder, even with a silicone cover on it. It just falls out. You also cannot lay your iPad down flat, it stays tilted to one side. Gave three stars only because its cute.

The functionality just isn’t there with this one.

Such a beautiful case but when the cover folds back it does not lay flat and is awkward and floppy. Uncomfortable to hold. Didn’t stay standing well. Pencil slides right out of the holder. Returned.

Given as a gift this past Christmas (along with the new iPad to go in it, of course – I’m not a monster). The recipient was coming from ~5 years worth of OtterBox Defenders, so I wasn’t sure how it would be received.

Fortunately, they seemed pretty pleased with it, and were particularly charmed by how the cover folds out of the way of the camera (nice touch design team!). It feels at least as sturdy as the OB cases, but beats them out in the aesthetics department by a long shot.

As I learned from the googling that lead me here, it’s surprisingly hard to find iPad cases that are both nice to look at and protective enough for those of us who are, er, slightly more accident prone.

Haven’t seen how it fairs under heavy use, but at the moment this would top my list for cases if I needed to get a new one for myself.

I’ve had Mous phone cases for years and absolutely love them. They are minimalistic, super durable and stylish. I bought an iPad for the first time and wanted a case. I tried several generic ones from target, Best Buy, etc but they all just felt and performed cheaply.

I had hoped Mous made one and sure enough they do! It fits the iPad Air perfectly and doesn’t make it feel like a high school text book all bulky and huge. Only negative is the stand feature. It needs work as it collapses to easily.

Other that that this is a quality case I’ve come to expect from this great company. Keep up the good work!.

I really enjoy using this case during a school year its light and you can hardly feel it. One thing is though is that a bit of plastic has snapped off (as it’s been getting taken in and out of bags) and the leather has snapped.

As it’s a studio case and would stay on a desk it’s a complete yes!.

Purchased this for my Ipad air first glance looks sturdy put it on and tried it the back in hard plastic I can see it scratching the back. The front would move exposing the screen. It wouldn’t stand would have to hold.

Wasn’t happy with it returned. Bought a Targus I had one before Will keep this one. Stick with what you know.

Really like this case, colour is just like the picture and exactly what I wanted. Fits my Ipad 10. 2 no problems. Only issue was I realised after purchase that it had no apple pencil holding space and also covers up the magnetic edge on the Ipad so no way to keep the apple pencil with the Ipad.

Upon receiving the case, my daughter immediately claimed it for her ipad. She looks the look and feel of it. Appreciates the openings for iPad buttons. Loves that the handle doubles as a stand and how sturdy the case is.

My son is insisting we buy him one when he gets an iPad for Christmas. Where was this case when my kids were toddlers??? They still drop devices but this would have been ideal when they were much younger.

My son is 7 and we got this for his iPad. He loved what a fun looking design it was. I am happy with how well it protects his iPad. Our favorite part is that we can make stand up so he can watch his virtual classes.

We had previously propped his iPad up on books, which took so much space on his desk. Our only thing we would change, is sometimes we can’t get it to stand the best. I need to come help him with it. Over a fun and super functional design!.

Great quality, sturdy and sophisticated design which is thoughtfully executed. I am using this cover for a month now and am totally in love with this, it has magnet closures, auto sleep function, pencil holder, holes to attach keyboard and access buttons, is all leather and I can watch videos while working with dirty hands in the kitchen which is a big plus and highly desirable feature which I was looking for, not to mention I love cherry blossoms as well :).

The cover is well made and the color is great. It fits pretty well. And it’s made perfectly to access buttons. Very protective and beautiful too. It is strong enough and the strap that can be used to hold it upwards is great.

Heavy duty, looks great and very speedy delivery. Well worth the money. You should definitely buy one.

This case worked great for my new ipad(10). I love the flora design. The pocket Is great to put a few Things(credit card or ID) in it. If I just want to take it to a coffee house. The pictures of the product is accurate.

When I first purchased my Apple Ipad, I quickly bought a Smart Cover for it to protect the Ipad’s screen. I really enjoy the cover to protect the screen, and highly sturdy. I wished the cover also covered the back of the Ipad.

I love variety of colors including any with prints or designs. It will be cool for Apple to come out with Smart Covers in the future with colors to match the Ipad itself (e. g. a gold Ipad and a gold Smart Cover in same texture/finish for a monochromatic look).

Textured covers such as metallics, sparkle/glitters, transparent/sheer, sherpa, etc. Fun and funky!!! I do enjoy the equipped technology to put the Ipad to sleep to prevent losing battery usage.

I’ve had the carbon fiber version of this for a few years and even though it’s starting to fray, I’m hesitant to replace it. The flap rolls up to provide a single standing angle, and though at times I wish it had more adjustment, it is incredibly sturdy with a very low profile.

The magnetic flap panels ensure it does not collapse when set in standing position. For the cost of these covers, they do a great job whether at home, or work, or traveling. Mine has seen many countries, and I suspect I will be replacing my iPad before the case.

I bought this cover when I got my husband his IPad many years ago. As you will see from the photo, it is well loved/worn. The cover has done it’s job extremely well in protecting his iPad. My hubby is not a “delicate” man lol.

I highly recommend this cover for the iPad. Great price point for long lasting protection!.

My only issues with this case is where the thunderbolt port is on the 12. 9 inch if you have thunderbolt 3 devices the cables are a bit to think to fit through the case hole you have to remove the case to plug in a thunderbolt cable.

But the usb charging cables for regular usb c device is fine and thin enough. The Apple Pencil also doesn’t charge or auto connect with the case on you have to take the case off to do this. So be aware of this.

The one thing I am happy about is the pencil holder though keeps the pencil save. Lastly you can’t adjust the case to type on the screen on the offical Apple one. Other than that its a really good case, and will do for now till I decide on getting an offical apple keyboard case or not.

I got an iPad for christmas in 2018 and i got this case as well as the iPad. I’ve now had this case for 3 years and it has had no problems at all! I also got an apple pencil to share with my siblings in 2019/2020 and the apple pencil holder has been very useful! I love this case, its simple and good quality.

Its also protected my iPad very well! Great case.

Very good quality! Bought one for myself for my iPad 12. 9” in 2020 and it’s still going strong considering how much I don’t look after it. This one was purchased along size my present for my mum and she loves it and finds it very convenient.

Doesn’t bend and stabilises itself quite well on uneven surfaces, is very sturdy and easy to clean. Would recommend to anyone who wants a good quality case! :).
