While these tablets are an excellent Iodine supplement, and were recommended by one of my Doctor as a short course to help me with weight management in particular slow metabolism, this is an extremely high dose of Iodine usually only taken to protect the Thyroid from exposure to radioactive Iodine.

This is where the old saying applies; It is better to not need something and have it than need something and not have it. Hopefully we will never need these but I am glad we have them. These are packaged well.

Each pill/dose is in its own foil blister. With a standard bottle, you open it up and all the pills are exposed to whatever. Moisture, dirt, contaminates, etc. With these packs this each pill is self contained t help prevent this.

Have been learning a lot about iodine recently – it’s traditionally used for thyroid function but it also benefits a gazillion other things. It’s thought that up to 95% of people are iodine deficient, and it carries a huge number of potential health problems, including cancer of the breasts, prostate, thyroid, uterine and testicular.

Am wary of making any claims that are too fanciful, but iodine is legit. If you’re interested in it, look up Dr David Brownstein – a GP in the US who is probably the leading expert on iodine. So anyway.

Aye, these are iodine capsules, so if you can’t bear to put a drop or two of Lugol’s into your water, these are a great option. They don’t contain a high dose so one a day won’t make a huge difference, but you need to adjust to iodine, so they’re a good entry point.

The capsules themselves are tiny, and the bottle will last you 6 months if you have one a day. Very highly recommended.

I remembered that iodine was important for me but wasn’t taking anything that contained iodine. I also wasn’t using iodinated salt. I recently started taking his high dose of iodine and haven’t really noticed any difference in how I feel, but did previously have great results with the T3 conversion supplement! My major issue has always been fatigue.
