20 Best Interview Outfits For Women (2023 Updated)

I now have this top in two colors and would wear it every day if I could. It’s great to travel in…roomy, no wrinkles, and the cuffs and hood come in handy in case of a windy day. It’s a bit big on me, but I like it that way.

I often find myself running errands in my workout gear, so it makes the perfect cover-up over tights and a tee-shirt. The fit if generous, so keep that in mind when ordering. I’d definitely buy a couple more.

comfy and good style. good for season before the summer. It feels a bit heavy. but it is of good materials and really comfortable. The style looks good on me. There are so many cropped tops. but this shirt is the regular length.

This shirt is a great weight, a little thicker and heavier than expected which is an added bonus. The length was also a bit longer than I expected which hit my legs nicely in the front and a bit longer in the back.

Fit was as expected a relaxed fit with lots of room but not bulky. It pairs nicely with any leggings or joggers for a casual outfit.

I bought two pairs a few years ago and told everyone I knew how fabulous they were – like having my legs wrapped in blankets but I wore them out and needed new ones. This new version is not that. For one thing they are not tight as they they should be.

Because the ankles are not tight I feel like I have to keep tugging them down. I also don’t like the pockets, they add too much bulk. I ordered two colors right off the bat and the fit is different. It seems like the black pair and the blue pair are not made in the same factory, even the labels inside the garment are slightly different.

I tried to pinpoint what it is and I think the elastic waist band in the black pair is not very good. It’s not got near the give that the blue pair has. I kept them as I really wanted corduroy leggings but am really loving the Jean leggings as they fit way better, and the fleece lined serious sweats leggings are all now my favorites as compared to these.

Lands End has reliable quality, good pricing, and fit. I go there first to find pants. I bought several colors in the corduroy, which has a narrow wale but feels wonderfully thick & warm. The waistband is comfortable and sits firmly on the waist, never slipping.

They hug the body and are a bit looser at the ankle, which is good for my thick winter socks. Even though I’m 5 ft 3 in. , I buy the regular because I wanted them to fit down to my feet. so they’re perfect in many respects! My only complaint is that the pockets have such a wide opening that they flare out, ruining the smooth look.

To compensate, I wear long, fitted tops to hold the pockets close to the body. These are thankfully warm and great for this very cold winter in New England. P. S. I also bought several pairs of Land End smooth leggings for more normal temperatures.

In 40 or more years, I’ve rarely, if ever, had to return something from Land’s End. I ordered these in several colors (while on sale) to replace some other leggings that have seen better days. I only gave a 2-star rating because overall they are comfortable.

I sent the moss green pair back for a refund as the left leg was a good 1. 5 inches shorter than the right. The other colors also have a shorter left leg, although more like a 1/2 inch. I didn’t bother sending those back as I’ll just wear them with boots to hide the difference.

The other thing I don’t care for are the pockets. They tend to not lay flat and, because of the corduroy, they are just too bulky. I’ll be sewing the opening closed and cut off the pocket. Why anyone puts pockets in a legging that is meant to be worn with a tunic top is beyond me anyway.

All in all, I was rather disappointed in these. Something I’ve hardly ever said with a Land’s End product!.

If this is the replacement pair for the one I ordered earlier. I love them! Was not aware that the first pair did not have an elastic back so the waist was too big. Had to return it. I replaced the returned pair with two others that did have the elastic back waist.

I already own an elastic back pair of black stretch jeans from Blair and LOVE them! Ordered another 2 pairs, (white and washed denim). Very happy with Blair apparel in general. Too bad Blair no longer offers the coordinated matching embroidered knit top and matching sweat pant sets any longer.

Some of the long sleeve embroidered matching sets were zip front (like a sweat jacket) others were simply pull over heavy duty (sweat) knit tops with matching sweat pants for comfortable winter wear.

Some sweat pant sets had hemmed bottoms, other the standard elastic bottoms on the pants. Also, Blair knit pants are generous in length. Other heavy duty knit pants shrink in wash/dryer and become too short over time.

I have always bought these jeans with great outcome. The size 12 has always been my go to. But after reading other reviews I wanted to pay attention to where the items were made compared to fit. First I decided to buy up one size following previous reviews.

The pkg arrived with two pair being made in Sri Lanka and one marked Indonesia. They all fit, however, quite snug for a 14. so glad I didn’t order a 12. The Sri Lanka pairs were longer and more snug than the Indonesia pair.

It was a little fuller cut, not so much in the waist, but thighs. then it is about an inch shorter. All this being said I’ve never been hung up on size, I buy what fits my body. These are still a good fit as most other “average” length jeans will be 29″ at best and tend to be short on me.

I am 5’5″ and 165lbs. Long legs and short body. 😠sometimes frustrating when looking for jeans. Some better monitoring of size consistency would be nice with these favorites. And thank you for not making them high waisted!.

I am very picky when it comes to the pants I wear, especially jeans. So I was curious to see if this Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Classic Jeans would work for me. I choose a size up so that they would be loose in the thighs even though this would probably make then really big in the waist depending on where they sat.

I am on the tall end of the petite scale which is frustrating so I decided to try the average length instead as well. These jeans are supposed to have a tapered leg but thankfully they were not too tapered as they were nice and loose all throughout my legs.

These jeans are supposed to have a classic rise and I thought they landed nicely on my waist as I prefer a higher rise waist line. These jeans are supposed to have supreme stretch and I feel that they do since they are made from 71% cotton, 27% polyester, and 2% spandex even though I prefer jeans made from 100% cotton.

I really enjoy wearing these Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Classic Jeans and they will be one of my go-to pairs when I want to wear a pair of jeans.

I have been begging Torrid for years to come out with a collection that is more refined than the typical tight bodycon dresses and off-shoulder skin-tight tops, and then this Studio collection launched and wow, I am impressed.

I ordered this blazer in my normal size and a size up. I agree with another reviewer that this blazer runs a little small, but for people who like their clothes tight and/or fitted, the one in your regular size will fit.

But if you want that more modern, slightly oversized fit, go a size up if you can. Because the blazer has a little shape built in and a slight flare below the waist, you still get that perfect hang when it’s unbuttoned — it’s not just a shapeless box.

My favorite thing, though, is the sleeves. I have a LOT of Torrid blazers and, aside from the periwinkle one this summer (with the matching shorts and pants) this is the first one that had fitted sleeves instead of sleeves that were enormously wide from shoulder to wrist so you couldn’t ‘push’ them up, they had to be rolled.

On this blazer I can. As a person who is addicted to blazers and has whined extensively about how, outside of Eloquii, plus size blazers never have the modern relaxed and oversized cut found in every straight-sized store, Torrid really got this one RIGHT.

The lining is a satin in the matching color, and the fabric is a medium-heavy weight that is perfect for fall. After trying on both sizes in green and keeping the larger one, I immediately came back and ordered the black and tan (and the matching pants, because why not?).

I’ve been shopping at Torrid since the brand launched 20 years ago, and this is the first time I feel like they have actually considered that their old customers from the grunge and “pink” days might have updated their style beyond combat boots and bodycon everything.

Even the styling on the models show some of that original Torrid edge and youthfulness without being full-on Eloquii or LB. I hope they keep it up and this isn’t a one-time deal. Overall, fantastic blazer, 10/10.

Have you ever tried something on that felt like it was made just for you? I hadn’t until I slipped this blazer on. It is the Cinderella’s glass slipper of jackets. The best part? You don’t have to wait for a boring prince or fairy godmother, you can just visit Torrid.

To start, the ponte is high quality – not at all the type that will snag or lose shape. The body is lined with a nice, soft, high quality material that feels incredible. The sleeves are unlined which is awesome as you don’t have to worry about bunching.

The closure is a substantial hook and eye which impressed me – no popping open. It was an awesome surprise that the sleeves were long enough (5’8″). You could roll them up for a more casual look which adds versatility.

I purchased it with the intent to wear it similar to the model (tshirt and jeans) but this would be particularily beautiful with a pencil skirt. I was worried the length would be too short and that it wouldn’t flatter my inverted triangle build.

Other blazers and jackets make me look like a lineback or a toddler who outgrew their suit. This fell beautifully, balancing my shoulders and creating a really great silhouette. The length was not an issue.

There is a nice stretch to this jacket, it is substantial without being suffocating or heavy. Typically my chest (DDD) will pull tops/jackets up, throwing off the seams and closures but this worked well (I sized up one size) There is extra room in the stomach but the material drapes so well, it doesn’t look big or ill fitting.

It gave my waist more definition. I highly recommend but suggest sizing up if you have broad shoulders or a large chest.

Size purchased: 00. Size typically in Torrid’s clothing: 00, sometimes a 0. I am torn about this blazer. It is so cute and so flattering! The peplum is adorable, the shape is nice. It’s good for casual or business casual attire.

However, despite the fabric having a lot (and I mean a lot) of spandex in it, the sleeves were too tight. Yet, the rest of the blazer fit fine (and I even had several inches to spare). Had I gone up a size, the arms (might) have fit but the garment itself would have been massive and you don’t want a blazer like this to be massive.

This has been a frequent problem with Torrid’s clothing (especially with garments that are chiffon, or have polyester/satin lining because the fabric has no stretch). That being said, I’m probably going to return it.

It looks silly to lift your arms and the entire garment lifts up to your chest because the arms are too small.

JUST PERFECT. IT’S VERY FIGURE FLATTERING ALSO. THE PRICE AS WELL AS THE LOW SHIPPING WAS MORE THAN A VALUE. IT’S WHITE WHITE AND BECAUSE IT’S 100 POLY LINING AND MATERIAL – I’M GOING TO WASH AND HANG TO DRY I BELIEVE I CAN GET AWAY WITH IT AND AVOID CLEANING COST.

LE SUIT IS ALWAYS MADE GOOD AND THEY USE VERY GOOD CLOTH. THEY TEND TO HOLD UP BETTER THAN MY KASPER SUITS. THIS SUIT IS BEAUTIFUL. I HAVE A SHELL WITH LACE THE SAME COLOR AND SHOES TO MATCH. I AM VERY PLEASED.

This is a beautiful top. But if you don’t have an elongated neck like the model wearing it, it’s not going to look right. I tried to fold it down, but due to the zipper on the back it gets in the way.

I’m a size small in tops and a size 4. I tried to make it work, ended up returning it.

This is edgy and classy. The neck being all the way up feels a little constricting, so I fold it down ponce and it works great! I’m 6 foot tall (150 lbs) I bought a medium.

The Nola collection of t-shirts and tank tops are made with surprisingly strong, high quality fabrication and stitching. No loose threads and no seams have failed ,even after many washes over the past 4-5 years.

The fabric stays soft with every wash! I own several dozen Nola tops; long sleeves, short sleeves and tank tops. The fabrication has not failed. For being a lightweight fabric, it really lasts! It never feels tight, no binding, or scratchy seams at all.

You put it on, and it feels like a cloud! I wear Nolas all the time for tennis, so built-in UV protection is bonus. Perfect ace every time! I buy new colors every year, and I keep buying the basic colors to freshen up my supply of whites, greys, navy, and black.

Tasc is the best brand of bamboo-based clothing (I’ve tested a few other brands). Tasc never disappoints me! :-).

I have been hoping to buy more colors of the NOLA long sleeve shirt for several years, in my size. I finally timed it right and was able to purchase one in Navy, Periwinkle and Grey Heather. The colors are just as beautiful in person as on the website.

They feel amazing under my the short sleeved shirts I need to wear for my volunteer position. They layer very nicely, adding warmth, but not bulk. It was nice to get free shipping based on my larger purchase and I appreciate being able to recycle the packaging.

I love this shirt. The Sedona color is beautiful and the fit is perfect. I am 5’10’ with long arms and a slender build. It can be difficult to find a well-fitted long sleeve shirt where the arm length is appropriate.

The size small is perfect for me. The fabric is soft with just enough stretch. The crewneck is just right. This is the third shirt in this style that I have purchased and I plan to add more to my wardrobe.

I have combo skin, as the day goes on oily in the T zone and the rest of my face is normal to dry. I hated this foundation because it was drying and heavy makeup-y looking on the skin until I found a different way to use it (mix it).

First of, I’ve been on a foundation hunt ever since EL double wear light hydra foundation was discontinued (it was my ride or die) and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to find something that made me feel good in my skin and the task had been hard, and finally I looked over at the original EL double wear collecting dust and how everyone loves it I was like what do I have to lose, I gave it another chance in a different way.

Most important thing to do first is to prep and hydrate the skin. I use the Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer and Mario Badescu Facial Spray my fav is the Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea.

Let that sink in a little into the skin. And here the my magic key mixture that gave me beautiful with the EL double wear. MIX the foundation with a drop of the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum (I use a makeup palette and spatula , on pump of foundation and a drop of serum and mix very well! Add less serum to see how you like it because you can always add more , Vs take away ).

With the mix, The foundation becomes hydrated and so smooth to apply and looks just like skin ! Also, I love the EL shade range they blend beautifully with the skin so foundation looks seamless. This was a game changer.

My skin isn’t drying in this anymore and it has a healthy natural finish. The longevity is completely kept intact with the serum just like EL double wear is famous for and it’s just perfect combination.

Please try this if Double Wear has not worked before for you. Shade: 1N1 but I will be ordering 1N2 as this one is just a hint too light. The serum I had as a sample. This is why it’s so small. I will be ordering a bottle of it.

This is my BY FAR FAVORITE foundation. I’ve come back to review this for the 2nd time now, last time was in November after using for a month to see how I liked it and wanted to see if it would break me out before reviewing, etc.

but I’ve just been unable to find another foundation like this one! To start off, I have really dry, eczema skin. but if you use a moisturizer and some setting spray on your face before putting this on, you will be fine if your skin is like mine.

So, I had run out of this foundation at the beginning of the year, I should’ve ordered when I was getting low but I was unaware that they don’t carry this one in the ulta stores, so I finished off the remainder of this too faced foundation I had (not the same but works good) and that started getting low so I went into my local ulta to see if I could maybe find something similar to it.

Nothing similar but a worker recommended a Smashbox matte foundation for me since I have dry skin. and I returned in within 2 days because I just couldn’t. it enlarged my pores and had barely any coverage at all.

So I was out of town and went and visited another ulta, hoping I could return that one and find this foundation, they didn’t have it either! So I settled with too face again but got a shade too dark.

So now I have to return yet again (ulta is about to be sick of me lol) but I’m almost thinking about returning this, and going foundationless for a while until I can order this and have it come in the mail.

Too faced is great, don’t get me wrong it’s definitely my 2nd choice, but nothing seems to compare to this foundation and will always be my favorite. It can withstand heat, humidity and sweat, all while making your face look flawless (not exaggerating).

My forever favorite. I would never come back and review something for a 2nd time. but now that I’m without it and have had to the other foundations again, I am seeing that I need to not go without this foundation again!.

This blouse is perfection! I ordered the watercolor buds(blue) blouse which is a gorgeous color. The fit is like it was made for me, size 0X. I did size up from my QVC size by following bust size on chart.

Very flattering and fluid. Great length not too long, very unique details that look so classy and rich. So impressed with the material and quality. Purchased 2 more in different colors! At this price I feel so fortunate.

I love this top. It is comfortable and cool. I have it in most colors. I wish they would get them back in stock. I can’t wear the new color, which is sad. I am short and round. This top smooths it my appearance.

I purchased on sale in the 2X based on the garment chart. I bought the black and the ditsy floral. The blouse is cut really well. Not too low cut. Not too long in length. I plan to wear to church and with my business work clothes.

What is it with shoulder pads? I never liked them. these pads arent bulky at least. I still couldn’t stand it so I took them out. Really easy to pop out, by the way (not hidden in a liner like some jackets are made) This blazer is close to the LB Blazer, not quite as amazing as theirs to be honest, but it is still very well made! I had in my online shopping cart then didnt buy it since I already have an amazing black blazer.

but then I saw it in store, and I was like ohhhhhhh! Silly me. I just couldn’t dis this one LOL. It has a slight peplum which is flattering. Can be worn autumn, winter, spring. And, summer, if you live in the arctic like I do! LOL And goes with just about anything.

Can dress it up or down. So comfy sometimes I forget I have it on!.

Um, come through, Torrid! I ordered this blazer thinking I would return it, bc Torrid’s blazer sleeves are always too big and short, but wow do I love it. It’s unlike typical Torrid blazers which, while cute, tend to have overly-wide sleeves and a boxy fit without enough room in the bust, so they’re always sliding open unless the button is closed.

I think the ponte is why this is so much better than usual — the spandex in the fabric means it can have a tailored shape and slimmer arms that will stretch to fit many body types. The ponte feels premium, like it wont pill or fade.

And the COLOR! It’s a beautiful, saturated, midnight black that actually looks expensive. Again, I’m excited to see Torrid offering basic PREMIUM pieces that look and feel expensive, and can be worn with or without the typical skulls/glitter/floral/bodycon Torrid aesthetic.

I’m going to keep coming back to see if they offer this in an ivory or cream (please, not stark white). 9/10 would absolutely recommend.

I bought blazers off of Amazon, two of them to be honest, they did not fit my shoulders or my arms. This blazer, I was able to size up and make it oversize. It fit my arms my shoulders and it was long enough to slightly cover my bottom.

The material is slightly heavy so this is more of a fall winter item, but it is soft and looks to be very durable. It has pockets, although they are slightly stitched and I cut the stitches and they are now full functioning pockets.

I see myself wearing this quite often.

This shirt is just a little strange. It is too frumpy (like pajamas) and the shoulders fit wide. Most ladies in my office did not like it. I also purchased some Port Authority 3/4 sleeve shirts that were similar and they preferred those.

The quality of the t-shirts is great. The packaging, delivery time and presentation great too.

I am obsessed with blazers. With blazers more fitted at the bust, I size up to a 2 because of a sports injury with my shoulder. (42B). I read the reviews for this blazer, sized down to a 1. If I didn’t have the sports injury, based on how loose this blazer is, a 0 would have worked well.

It’s loose to where I feel comfortable. This blazer seems like it’s sized to be oversized for your typical size, so if you prefer it to be more fitted, you would want to consider sizing down. I like the oversized for my personal needs, and am overall very happy with the blazer even though the sizing is larger than other blazers I’ve purchased at Torrid.

This is a great special occasion dress. It is classy, chic and so versatile. The pearl embellishment around the collar make it simple to accessorize with a pearl bracelet and earrings and you are ready for the party.

For cooler days/nights, add a cashmere wrap which looks great with it. This pink version of the Portia seems to be running larger than past versions of the dress. I sized down one size from my other Portia dresses and it fits perfectly.

When I want to make a statement, this is my “go to” dress. Love it and highly recommend it.

Very classy shift. The material is rich and feels high quality. I see myself accessorizing with classic single pearl earrings or bring out the gold thread with yellow gold earring. I think it’s a chic classic.

I rented this for my gender reveal! Super cute and flowy. The bust/cups were on the smaller size so maybe not ideal for a larger chest. Runs TTS every else. But I loved the look!

5 foot 6 inches, 174 lbs-Bust 42 Waist 31 Hips 39. Bra size 36 DD Purchased in a large, normal FN Size Medium or Large. I ordered multiple sets in this style. Without having the option to select individual sizes for the top and bottom, this was hands down the overall winner.

Pants could have def been way tighter but this sweater in a large was the most flattering on my boobs and sat the best on my rib cage. I’m 35 so while I wanted the cropped look, I didn’t want it super short and tight.

It has a band underneath so it lays nicer on your stomach and doesn’t ride up as easily as the other cropped sweaters that came with my other sets. Classy but still sexy and fun. The quality is great, material is thick and soft.

I haven’t worn and washed yet but with mindful laundering. I think I can keep this set perfect. My suggestion, put each piece in a garment bag: use hand wash cycle or delicate cycle on machine, wash alone to avoid lint and wash in cold water only.

No fabric softener for this. and then line dry. I liked this set so much, that im ordering in pink, grey, blue and white. I already have it in black. Pants will likely be a little see through in certain lighting, I will wear tights underneath which will also add some compression that these sort of sweater pants just do not offer.

I love this set, the fit is really nice and it’s a great casual outfit that can go from day to night. But the pants are fitted like leggings and so you can see through the sweater material. The sweater is roomy so it doesn’t have that issue.

Maybe I should of sized up, but I actually like the way it fits. I’m going to try putting some black biker shorts underneath.

This set is very comfortable to wear inside or going out. The leggings really accentuate my curves and I love how it fits. It is definitely true to size and I’m so happy that the top is actually cropped short enough.

The only thing I can say negatively is that if you are bigger on the bottom the material will show your skin since it is sweater material. If you’re concerned wear nude underwear or nothing and you’ll be fine.

If you’re a curvy girl, these are perfect!! I’m a true pear shape. Small waist but curvy through my hips & thighs. Im 5’4 w/ a 28 waist but 41 hips. I got a size 8 and they fit perfect!! My size in the regular wunder trains is also an 8 & those fit fine, but they’re a little tight in the thighs and butt, however if I were to size up in those, then the waist would be too big.

The contour style fit me perfectly!!! The waist stays up doesn’t roll & I feel like I have plenty of room in my hips & thighs. I mainly strength train in these & they’re perfect! Hands down my favorite style of lulu leggings.

I love love love these pants!!! If you have a small waist but curvier hips and thighs these won’t disappoint you!!.

Lululemon align pants are my favourite out of all the other high end yoga activewear brands. I have the spiced chai and the classic black in 24” and 26” respectively. Really love that I can choose longer length with LuLuLemon (other brands don’t offer this and mostly cater to 7/8 lengths).

Personally prefer longer lengths for everyday wear and for any sort of activity. Classics black has a more Matte finish to the material as compared to the slicker lighter coloured align pants. However, lighter colour pants are very sheer even if you size up (no squats without risking exposure).

That being said, Lululemon is still my most favourite (I’ll stick to darker shades for coverage and longer 26” lengths). Best for hot & humid weather like Singapore and Malaysia. Also, there isn’t any (luxury) brand of yoga pants that doesn’t run down when I bend (mum belly problems, first world problems, I know).

Will definitely buy again and again. Costs vary around about S$1-S$2 difference if you buy online vs in stores in SG (depending on exchange rates).

I am an absolute lululemon fanatic and the fast and free is my favorite right-I seriously own 30 pairs and recommend these to all of my friends and clients. These are terrible- the colors are must have so I bought 3 since I own several brushed fast and frees from last year so I know my size is always a 4.

Wrong. I read they stretched out so after buying the 4s I returned for size 2 which were a bit too tight when first trying on. They stretched to a great size after one wear. After two wears the 2s have stretched bigger than my 4s from previous years.

They bag in the knees and now the once too tight waist is now baggy and being held up with the drawstring. This is unacceptable especially since I spent over $300 on these 3 leggings. As much as I love fast and frees I’m scared to continue investing in them!! Please lulu make these like they were last year!! None of my older ones have stretched out like this.

I’m so disappointed because the colors are gorgeous and the fabric feels great until it stretches out significantly. I don’t know if sizing down two sizes would work or not. I hate to leave negative reviews but I defintely want this issue resolved in the future so that I can continue buying and adoring my brushed fast and frees!!.
