Best Internet Radio For Home (2025 Updated)

After years of listening to radio stations through apps on iPads and phones and juggling multiple radio apps like Tunein, Simple Radio and individual apps when stations only stream on their own apps, I opted to purchase the CC Wi-Fi 3 after reading the stellar reviews.

It was simple and flawless to set-up. I entered my IP per the manual and it logged on, updated itself and connected with Skytune. I simply followed the manual and within a short period of time I had most of my favorite streaming terrestrial stations and internet stations loaded onto my presets on a single radio! Not a bunch of apps.

I got iHeart and Audacy (CBS) stations. The small handful that Skytune did not have I’m going to enter manually – but that is for another night. The sound is good and there are equalizer presets or you can individualize your sound with equalizer tools.

The radio is mono but there is a stereo headphone plug and a stereo line out. I had zero issues with my Wi-Fi connection and the radio has been playing for several hours without a blip. All of this is so simple.

For the price this radio does a lot of things with a lot of features. The remote control makes things so easy. The display is fine and it’s easy to adjust brightness. I never thought I would own an internet radio.

But I am beyond happy with the CC Wi-Fi 3. I own many radios including ten C Crane radios and I won’t stop listening to those. The quality is right up there with the other CC radios I’ve had the pleasure of using.

I was looking for a small device with a small speaker that would allow me to listen to streaming music while I work, without having to subscribe to a service and pay a monthly fee. Well, this is it! The Skytune service works well, but I find myself mostly just keying my favorite stations in manually.

The instructions are fairly straightforward and not too difficult if you are at all technically inclined. I have a browser plug-in called Video Download Helper that allows me to see what the actual streaming URL is for anything I’m connected to on my computer, and I just key that into the CC WIFI-3’s web page to add the station to the radio.

The line out is great for listening on a larger system. In my case I have kind of an elaborate setup involving a small mixing board, a computer, and an external set of powered speakers, but it should work great with whatever system you have, you can easily get whatever cables you need for your setup from Amazon.

The line out volume is independent of the unit’s volume, so you can turn the unit down and just use the line out if you want a big sound. It has 10 presets that you can access directly from the numbers on the remote, but that’s not the limit.

You can keep adding stations. I’m not sure if there is a limit, but right now mine’s up to 18 and counting. I found it pretty difficult to search for and add stations from the unit itself, but much easier to do when you connect to it using a browser on your computer.

All in all this is a great unit, highly recommended!.

I’ve had the radio for 60 days. I use it with headphones to lull me to sleep at night with old time radio mystery shows. The CC2 radio I had no longer could add stations and all but three stations no longer functioned, so I bought the CC3.

The CC3 takes up less space on my night stand. An annoying problem with the CC2 radio was it would periodically (probably on half the nights) lose the router signal and I would have to reboot it by pulling out the power cord.

The CC3 radio only lost the internet signal when I first started it up. Maybe it learned how to hold the signal, because it hasn’t happened again. The radio is on my nightstand, about 25 ft. and past three internal walls from my router.

I was able to quickly add 9 stations I wanted by searching the Skytune website by category and then by station description. Then I added 2 more using the router web interface and the station URL. It was a bit difficult to figure out by using the manual and trial and error, but I finally did figure out how to do it.

So if Skytune goes belly up I can still add new stations. There’s only two things I would change if I were improving this radio. 1. I’d put the headphone jack on the front. It’s awkward to plug and unplug a headphone from the jack in the rear, as I’d have to lift up the radio and turn it around to do so.

This has prevented me from using the speaker, as it’s too much trouble to do so. 2. I’d use a two digit channel number (eg 01, 02,. 99) to assign stations, so I could use the remote to access all 99 channels.

If I want to access any channel higher than the first 10 (0 to 9) I have to do so by pressing the button on the front of the radio, then turning the dial to the channel I want. Since I use the radio from my bed in the dark, this would require me to sit up in bed to do it.

I bought this to replace a previous version of a grace digital that ceased working. I rather like this little radio. It is easy to set up and has a fantastic sound. Stations come up almost immediately.

I signed up for Sirius XM and it works fine on this radio. The remote is intuitive and light. My main complaint is that it seems designed to exclude college stations. The Muhlenberg University station five miles from my home is nowhere to be found, nor can it entered manually.

“Local Stations” clearly means, “the big broadcasters we will ALLOW you to listen to. ” As far as I know, there is no way to add stations to their list. That is frustrating. In fact, this radio seems designed to exclude low power and marginal stations, very corporate! Still, I can’t complain too much as it has no problem accessing most of the stations I want to listen to.

A star comes off because of it’s smaller pool of radio stations. Aside frime that, this is a fine little radio.

Bought this radio as an upgrade after owning several CCrane Internet wifi radios in part because the Mondo Elite offers access to SiriusXM for people who subscribe to that service. While other features of the radio were easy to set up and worked well, audio feeds from SiriusXM were all intermittent enough to be unlistenable, at least to me.

I called CCrane which knew nothing of this problem and suggested that I contact the manufacturer, which I did. A customer service rep there indicated that there was a known issue with SiriusXM listening on this model radio, that a software update was in the works that (hopefully) would resolve the issue, but that there was no timetable for the release of such an update.

In the end, I could rate this radio anywhere from one to five stars depending on whether and when users are ultimately able to listen to SiriusXM signals without interruption. In fairness, a previous reviewer complains about the brightness of the radio’s display which almost prevented me from purchasing this unit.

I found that the radio’s setting options made it possible to dim the screen sufficiently so as not to be objectionable.

I really enjoy my Mondo Elite radio! All my favorite internet radio stations are there. Have found others I never knew existed. With 100 memory presets, I have all my favorite stations saved. You can even save your Pandora stations and XM stations in the memory presets.

Pandora works great on this radio as well as iHeart and XM streaming service. Sound quality is great through it’s built in speakers and it’s nice to have bluetooth to listen through my wireless headphones.

It has an earphone jack so I can use my C. Crane Pillow Speaker too. The color display is nice and you can set it to dim or go off at night. I am very satisfied with this radio!.

just got the radio yesterday and it is pretty good. there are many stuff, so i will break them downSound quality-Good for one speaker. distorts with lots of bass at high volume, i recommend putting loudness to on outside, off inside.

INTERNET-Sensitivity to wi-fi is good and has a reliable signal for internet stations, lots of stations, i cant believe so many of my local FM stations are on the web portal (frontier sillicon)Battery life- seems average.

FM-Just ok. i own FIVE (5) Sangeans and out of all my sangeans, this radios FM reception is the 2nd worst. i also own some radios from other brands, and this one did better than each radio except my sony xdr-s10hdip and four others sangeans, almost, just short by a hair, was equal to my CL-100 from sangean.

so, screw DX’ing here. Aux-Wow. no bluetooth. with all my other sangeans, it seems like theyre intentionally AVOIDING bluetooth. only one (BB-100) has it, but i have a aux to bluetooth adapter, so no biggie.

Spotify integration- idk, im on Team apple. USB- reads FAT32 drives (IMPORTANT, ONLY FAT32) but it tells you the duration of file, reads music up to 320KBS, and if the mp3 supports it you could see artist and album, but it show the name too.

it is easy to use once it is set up. it was difficult to find some of my favorite local stations. another problem (more with the radio station) is that they raise the volume a lot on commercials. my hearing is not the greatest.

so the level is a bit high. when the commercials kick in it can be painful. it would be nice if they put some kind of volume leveler in it. i am glad i got it. i have a lot of trouble getting static free am inside my house.

the sound quality with this is stellar.

(I did not buy mine from NewEgg) Introduction: The Sangean is a big portable. It makes a good table radio; and though it has a ridge in the back that acts as a grip to pick it up, it would benefit from some sort of handle on the top.

You know it isn’t small if it takes four D size batteries. I intended to use AA size rechargeables with D size adapters to power this radio, but that didn’t work out; the battery compartment is too tight, and I could not stuff my batteries with adaptors into this space.

I can now see why people who purchase this radio also order the rather costly D size rechargeable batteries. The AC adapter for this is an odd 7. 5 Volt 1. 6 Amp device that will be hard to find a replacement for if the original is lost or broken.

The paper manual included is really pretty easy to read (unlike some other Chinese manuals), but is not as useful as it should be. This radio is shiny black, solidly built, all points of contact feel snug and secure, all the buttons snap sharply and smoothly, there are four nice grippy feet on the bottom, nothing cheap here.

The unit takes some time (about 30 seconds) to start up (I have mine set to disconnect from my WiFi when in Standby until I sort out my battery situation. Leaving it connected to your WiFi should shorten the startup time.

). Connecting to my WiFi went well, run the Wizard, select your network, choose the characters for your WiFi password, and boom, you’re in. The steps in the manual do not exactly match the steps required on the radio, if you’ve done one like this before you will be fine, if not you may find it confusing.

The tuning/selecting encoder suffers from the same problem most of these do; it doesn’t always keep up with the user, depending on what the unit’s processor is doing, it may be several seconds before the encoder recognizes that you are attempting to make a selection, and then it may jump ahead several steps.

The operation is a bit of a learning curve, but if you have operated a WiFi radio before, this is pretty straightforward and intuitive. The display is bright, colorful, beautiful, and informative. The display stays lit when the radio is on the ac power supply, and fades down after a few seconds of any input when on battery.

The sound is really good for a radio this size. This radio has sound contour presets to help you find a sound you like and includes a custom setting so you can set your own sound profile. This has a separate line output (in addition to a headphone output) that easily powers externally amplified speakers, and it sounds good doing it.

When listening to internet radio the “INFO” button will step the display through several sets of data. This radio is immensely easy, and pleasant to use. The batteries charge while the power supply is connected to the radio.

In the weeks I’ve had this radio, it has only lost a stream, twice. This is one of the nicest built, and most useful radios that I own.

I was an early adopter of satellite radio. Back then when I bought a car and asked for the Sirius installation, the dealer has no idea what I was talking about and I had to get it put in at an after-market radio shop.

Eventually I got rid of the car, and stopped listening to satellite radio. Which is a shame because I really liked it. Then my tabletop HD radio broke and when I tried to replace it I couldn’t find any HD radios for sale anywhere.

So I decided to go back to satellite. I ended up with this. It’s not a true satellite radio because it doesn’t get its signal from a satellite, but via the internet instead. That’s OK with me because my friends always have the challenge of running a long satellite antenna wire out to the nearest window to catch a signal.

That’s not an option where I live — in a skyscraper with very limited views of the sky. But what I do have is excellent internet, so this seemed like a no-brainer. I won’t go into all the virtues of satellite radio, so let’s just say I’m glad to be back.

Paying Sirius $15/month for real radio, run like professional radio, curated by human beings and not some computer algorithm is wonderful. Much better than Pandora or even iTunes Radio, which is what I used to use.

If you know the difference between radio and an iPod on shuffle, then you’ll be able to tell the difference between satellite radio and Pandora. The radio is quite good. I was expecting some very cheap plasticy piece of junk, but it’s quite substantial.

The base is weighted so it doesn’t slide around when you use the controls. The buttons feel good and are nice and responsive. The two knobs are very high quality. The audio out on the back is a line-out, not a headphone jack (though there is also a headphone jack).

This means you can push audio out the back of the radio into something else (an AV unit or a stereo, or in my case an FM transmitter) without losing the ability to listen to the radio, itself. And because it’s line-out, you can change the volume on the radio without changing the volume of the audio being shoved out the back port.

The clock and alarm and display were very well thought out. You can set it to wake to a different station than you went to sleep with, and choose a specific volume to wake up to. No more being shouted awake when you can set it to gently nudge you out of sleep by starting on the Spa channel at a low volume.

The display isn’t too bright or too dim, and adjusts itself automatically. The Sony HD radio that this unit replaced was always either too bright (keeping me up) or too dim (useless in the day). This one always looks good no matter the ambient light in the rest of the room.

It’s not LCD or LED, it’s that yellow vacuum fluorescent display that was used on the earliest laptop computers (GRiD Compass). The only complaint I have is that I’m something of a channel surfer, so you’d think that turning the tuning knob would flip from station to station.

It doesn’t. It brings up a menu where you can then choose a station. Very counter-intuitive. I also wish this radio had more than 10 presets (my HD had 20), but then that’s probably my problem because I’m a channel surfer.

The remote is very small, and looks cheap, but it feels good and works well. But the little plastic dome buttons don’t seem like they’ll last forever. I may replace this with a universal remote if it starts getting wonky.

The radio also has a aux-in port, which I use with a Bluetooth dongle to steam local radio stations from my iPhone, when I want local news. Setup was surprisingly easy, and to date (about a month now) I have only once had problems streaming stations, and that was fixed by simply unplugging the radio for a few seconds.

The sound is excellent. Nice and quiet for falling asleep to, and then during the day it produces really full, robust room-filling sound when you need it. Even competing against a dishwasher and a dryer in the same room is no problem for this little box.

I’m not an audiophile, just a regular person but I’m really impressed. I’m glad to be back on satellite radio, and for me this radio was the perfect way to get there. I wish there were more choices of desktop satellite radios, but even though this is the only option, it’s still a really really good option.

i bought my first sirius xm table top radio summer 2011. i lived in a heavily wooded area in oregon and couldnt catch the regular sirius xm signal-so they suggested it to me. (uses wifi) i love it so much that this specific radio is my fourth one! the ONLY problem with these devices is that after awhile the lights on display slowly go out.

radio still works, but you can’t see what song or channel youre on. SO! i was ecstatic when i received THIS one and ALL the lights still work.

When this unit works, it is great. Some issues include the difficulty with parental code for 40’s on channel 78. No matter how many times I put in the parental code, it switches to a request each time? Also, radio cuts out regularly indicating that it is being logged on elsewhere? Sure wish you could fix these problems.

I am so in love with this radio purchase. I found Radio Paradise under “Favorites” and I haven’t looked back. I did find other stations to program to My Favorites including KEXP in Seattle which I listened to daily when I worked at Fred Hutch in the ’90’s and early 2000’s.

I found a blues station in Mexico, and other stations that fit my taste in eclectic music.

It’s mostly a good product but is lacking several features I wanted. There’s no way to adjust the base vs treble frequencies. My hearing requires more treble for a natural sound. I found set-up not to be an easy matter.

It connects with the internet WiFi at my workplace but I can’t get it to connect at home. Both locations are served by the same local carrier company. With regular batteries installed it’s pretty heavy for its size.

I will probably install more expensive but lighter weight rechargeable lithium batteries. Also, there’s no way to positively grip the radio because it has no folding handle or undercut grip slot. On a scale of ten I’d probably give it about a 7 or 8.

Pros: Very good DAB+BlueTooth+Internet radio+USB. Appears to be much more reliable than my previous DAB radio (Pure). Sound is good, although can be a little boomy if the radio is placed in a slightly enclosed space.

I like the gentle volume increase at startup. Nice looking device. The USB input doesn’t pick random tracks – which is was the sole reason I didn’t buy the Ruark. Cons: It would be nice if there was a standard coax to allow connection of a good DAB aerial.

I needed one so I could receive DAB+ at reasonable quality and I had to make the connection inside the unit with the socket inside (this means that I can return to the attached aerial if I need to). It would also be useful to have station favourites to avoid needing to wade through dozens of pop music channels to switch between channels of interest.

Pros: Great reception, sound quality, easy to use. It’s a classic design and is beautiful Roberts Radio quality. Cons: It would be nice if the Bluetooth was 2-way. I’d love to be able to use my wireless earbuds with it but without the hassle of using a dongle it’s not possible.

In a 2020 radio that’s something that really needs addressing. It would be nice if the remote was slightly larger too. I’m okay with it but older people might struggle with the tiny buttons. To get the best out of it you need to go into a submenu to adjust the equaliser otherwise the sound can be a bit bland.

But this is not obvious and it’s fiddly so again older, non-tech savvy people might overlook the opportunity to really get the best out of the Stream 94i. That’s a real shame because with the right bass settings it can sound fabulous.

We bought the Roberts Stream 94I to replace a Pure Evoke (I think it was a D2) in our kitchen. Can’t complain about the Pure radio but it just didn’t have the power required to be able to clearly listen to podcasts etc while cooking.

The Roberts radio has no such problems. Whilst we don’t pretend to be audiophiles, nor that either of us have an educated ear that can analyse Bass, Mids & Treble, we were immediately struck with the improved audio quality.

Music feels ‘meatier’, for want of a better word, and people talking is especially clear. It was also a nice upgrade to be able to cut a cord and stream music/podcasts/audiobooks through bluetooth or through the local network from our NAS (it should be noted that contents from our NAS have been accessed through WiFi (as there is no convenient ethernet cable where the radio is positioned) but it has handled the connection really well).

The build quality of the radio is good and solid. The controls are responsive and the buttons in particular feel good quality and have a nice feel when you press them. The app that you can use to control the radio from your phone is ok.

It makes it easier to browse through radio stations, and internet radio, but those are really the only benefits we have had so far from it. The only let down I would say is the remote control you receive with the radio.

First of all, you do not get a battery with it, and you most likely won’t have one to hand as it is one of those large disc type batteries. Secondly, the quality of the remote is poor with the controls being one of those bubble keyboards that we expect will eventually split and crack, as they have on any other similar remote we have used in the past.

This isn’t a deal breaker though in our opinion as we have not had need of the remote once and can use the mobile app we mentioned previously, also it is nice and simple just to use the interface on the radio itself.

All in all, we are really pleased with this purchase.

This is a high quality device with a great balanced sound. I was a little dubious at paying out the asking price but the wife and I are really pleased with it. It has a rich deep sound which is way above and beyond anything we have heard before.

Easy set up and a solid good looking radio/player. Well pleased. They are presently out of stock at Revo but they inform me that they should be back on the market in around 4-6 months (it is now August).

You could take a chance like we have done by buying a used one but glad to say ours is just the job.

I purchased the supersystem to get two speakers so changed my order from the superconnect. Build quality is good, sound is excellent. Reception via wireless connection works extremely well. It linked to Spotify with no difficulty.

Really pleased I bought one. Service from Revo was outstanding usual last minute present purchase but delivery was straight away. I think the quality was worth the extra so well done revo. It really does get stations from all round the world.

Brought a refurbished unit, you’d never know it wasn’t brand new. Sound quality is excellent, build quality is superb, and the app to control it is works pretty well for me (but is by no means perfect) Haven’t yet tried to stream network music yet but no problems with anything else so very hopeful that it will just work.

The radio came with a slim remote when the listing implied it would come with the chunky one. An email later the bigger remote was sent out an arrived next day for free, though I much prefer the smaller one.

It’s a great little radio, except for one thing: battery life. It needs 4 x AAs. I’ve been using rechargeables and get less than an hour’s usage. I sometimes wonder if it supposed to run on batteries.

there is no mention in the quick start guide that comes wtih the radio , except at the end. I downloaded the full user guide and there is no mention whatsoever of batteries! I fired off a query to Pure, but have had no response.

I have yet to try non-rechargeable AAs.

Pros: Really good quality sound. Ease of finding stations. Battery life is really good if not using the mains. The radio is a nice size. Overall the radio is really good value for money. Cons: Storing stations takes a bit of practice.

I am late convert to Squeezebox, coming across PiCore Player as an Open Source Raspberry Pi project originally. I love the streaming capabilities of the free open source Squeezebox Software. I now also have 2 of these old Logitech Squeezebox Radios.

The build quality and sound of these little Logitech units are great. One radio I use as a bedside Clock Radio/Streamer with an adaptive display brightness that is not too bright at night, that wakes me with a gradually increasing radio alarm.

The other is in the Kitchen and keeps me entertained when cooking. Both are great to listen to Podcasts, or some Internet Stations like Radio Paradise, SomaFM or FIP. I cannot believe Logitech dropped Squeezebox and these little Radios but qudos for making the software Open Source, as there is great support in the community.

To get the full capabilities of streaming your music from your NAS or using the BBC Sounds App for example requires a little techy messing about but it is well documented on the net and well worth the effort.

Or just use the basic options for Internet Radio.

I now own 4 of these devices, all of which are networked into a Vortexbox Hi-Fi music server. The Logitech Squeezebox radio/streamer produces good quality music, all simply controlled from its display function and local device interface or remotely using an app on your phone.

The Squeezebox software has been developed over a period of years and it gives great freedom to the user. The software can be dowloaded as an app onto the major types of NAS drive and hooking the Logitech Radio to the NAS is very simple to do (and you don’t need to be a computer genius to do it !) Overall the Logitech Squeezebox radio is a great product.

Get one whilst you can find them !.

Unlike some other ‘internet radios’ (like my old Grace Digital radio) Squeezebox does not appear to rely on a proprietary software app to connect with the internet – it simply connects, wirelessly, via your home wi-fi router and begins to play.

Conversely, my Grace Digital radio ended up in the garbage when it could no longer connect to the internet because the app it relied on was allowed to die. Sound is great and you can select from 1,000s of stations around the world – pretty cool technology! We now own 3 of these things – and they really are amazing! Consider buying the optional rechargeable battery which allows you to move the radio around the house.

Its early days yet so initial thoughts only but the sound is very good indeed. The setting up was easy for all except the internet but thats the fault of our poor internet strength locally – not the radio.

Te build is great – feels real quality. Delighted!.

I am very particular when it comes to my audio equipment, the Internet/dab radio was even better than I expected. The bass and sound from this is unbelievable and very little distortion at high and low volumes.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, who appreciates a good sound. Expensive but worth it!!.

This is my first Sangean radio and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality and performance of the radio! It was more than I expected – with a Solid feel, construction and performance that is excellent.

Audio is above average for this size radio but a tad under that of my Tivoli One that I’ve had for over 10 years, however, AM/FM reception is definitely better on the Sangean. Would highly recommend this little jewel!.

The sound on this radio is TREMENDOUS!!! The further away you are the better the music fills the room! It connects to stations very easily. It looks Beautiful!! I would buy another one in a heart beat!!!!!.

The sound quality is quite dreadful compared to a Philips ‘all transistor’ radio bought in 1964, which sounds better & still works! The DAB & FM doesn’t receive signals from our lounge, whereas my other one does.

It would be useful if the aerial could be detached & another aerial plugged in. Most Internet radios show the title, artist & year they were released. This one doesn’t! The size & shape is perfect for my requirements, it replaced an older set whose aggregator (Reciva) closed down operations.

Easy settings & set up small size but great sound quality very fast functionality really love all the channels high Quality product. Stoked I brought it.

Danach habe ich lange gesucht. Leider steht in der Bedienungsanleitung nur, dass man sich Lieblingssender auf den 5 Tasten speichern kann, aber nicht , wie. Muss man fummeln. Genauso mit der Netzwerkeinstellung.

Aber kriegt man hin. Weil mich sonst aber alles andere so begeistert , nehme ich das hin. Was ich auch nicht gut finde, dass die Punkte zwischen den Zahlen der Uhranzeuge blinken. Total unnötig und lästig.

Zusammengefasst bin ich so zufrieden , dass ich mir gerade den 150 ger mit DAB für die Küche bestellt habe, obwohl ich da kein schlechtes, relativ neues Gerät habe. Sagt ja wohl alles.

Der Sound geht auf den bevorzugten Modus einzustellen. Das Radio bringt einen satten vollen Klang. Die Bedienung ist wirklich einfach. Ich habe das Gerät nun schon ein paar Wochen und ich konnte keinerlei Schwächen feststellen.

Die Fernbedienung vom Radio funktioniert ebenfall super. Das Gerät gibt alle Radioquellen wie auch DAB aus dem Internet und dem Netztwerk wieder. Auch hier ist das Menü leicht verständlich und das Display gut ablesbar.

TranslateShow in original languageAuspacken, aufstellen, fertig. Das Radio ist schnell eingerichtet mit der beiliegenden Fernbedienung kein Problem. Der Wecker hat zwei unterschiedliche Weckzeiten und man kann jeden Tag einzeln abwählen, die Lautstärke für den Wecker ist auch einstellbar.

Das Display ist zwar etwas klein aber wenn man das Radio über die App auf dem Tablet steuert ist das nur noch Nebensache. Auf dem Tablet findet man ganz bequem alle Sender die man gerne selber hört. Ich arbeite hauptsächlich im Freien und darum finde ich die Wetterdaten für die nächsten Stunden und Tage super.

Was mich dabei etwas stört ist der Wechsel zwischen Uhrzeit und Wetter man hat nicht genug Zeit sich die Wetterdaten genauer anzuschauen. Für das kleine Radio ist der Klang ganz ordentlich. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Radio.

TranslateShow in original languageRezension Grundig DTR 7000 Bereits beim auspacken war ich positiv begeistert. Dass das Radio sorgfältig eingebettet war hat mir sehr gefallen. Als ich dieses dann in den Händen hielt ist mir eins sofort aufgefallen: Die wirklich unglaublich gute Verarbeitung und die extrem hochwertige Haptik.

Die Optik des ganzen Produkts kann meiner Meinung nach ohne Probleme mit viel teureren Produkten mithalten. Beim Installieren ist mir leider sofort eine Kleinigkeit aufgefallen, die mir nicht so gut gefallen hat.

Das Kabel mit dem Netztteil finde ich persönlich viel zu kurz. Grade bei einem solchen Produkt welches in verschiedenen Bereichen der Wohnung einsetzbar ist wäre es von Vorteil ein mindestens 2 m langes Kabel zu haben.

Als das Radio dann schließlich an seinem bestimmten Ort stand, war das erste Einschalten und die Inbetriebnahme ein Kinderspiel. Es wurde super über das Display erklärt, was wann zu tun ist. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ist für mich ein klarer Pluspunkt.

Da ich glaube dass auch Menschen die nicht so viel Technik am Hut haben, keine Probleme bei der Inbetriebnahme haben werden. Die Bedienung über die Fernbedienung ist wirklich praktisch. Alle Funktionen sind leicht zu erreichen und erklären sich dank des Displays quasi von alleine.

Das All In One versprechen des Produkts wird zu 100% eingehalten. Die verschiedenen Funktionen vereinen alles was man im Alltag benötigt und es macht spaß per Knopfdruck die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten des Geräts zu Entdecken.

Noch eine Kleinigkeit, die mir leider nicht so gefallen hat, ist die Helligkeit des Displays. Obwohl man diese verändern kann ist mir die hellste Einstellung noch zu dunkel. Grade tagsüber in einem sehr hellen Raum habe ich öfter Problem zu sehen was Grade auf dem Display steht.

Das könnte meiner Meinung nach verbessert werden. Die Soundqualität ist für ein Produkt in der Größe und Preiskategorie sehr gut. Durch den eingebauten nach unten gerichteten Subwoofer hat man ein wirklich tolles Musikerlebnis.

Für den täglichen Gebrauch reicht auch die Lautstärke vollkommen aus. Natürlich ist es keine High End Musikanlage, was man aber in der Kompaktheit des Produkt auch nicht erwarten kann und nicht muss.

Abschließend kann ich nur sagen, dass man für noch nicht einmal 200€, ein Produkt erhält, dass durch seine kompakte Bauweise und sehr hoher Qualität überzeugt. Es ist toll alles “All in One” in einem Gerät zu haben mit dem die ganze Familie Spaß hat.

TranslateShow in original languageDas Grundig Radio verbindet alle wichtigen Eigenschaften, die ich von einem modernen Gerät in diesem Segment erwarte – Internet- und Digitalradio, Streaming, CD-Wiedergabe und klassische Funktionen.

Der Funktionsumfang ist top. Was mir nicht gefällt, ist der Sound und die Gestaltung der Fernbedienung. Die Ersteinrichtung ist schnell vorgenommen mit logisch aufgebauten Einstellungsmenüs. Die Sendersuche wird zum Geduldsspiel.

Wenn die Lieblingssender abgespeichert sind, ist ein Direktzugriff über die Fernbedienung oder dem zentralen Drehknopf möglich. Das funktioniert super. Leider ist die Fernbedienung nicht gut designt.

Sie liegt zwar gut in der Hand, aber wenn sie auf dem Tisch liegt, kippelt sie bei jedem Tastendruck. Die wichtigsten Tasten für das Hauptmenü und die Lautstärke sind sehr klein. Dem Sound des Radios fehlt das Volumen.

Da hätte ich mehr erwartet. Es gibt Einstellungen für Höhen, Tiefen und Soundprofile, allerdings nur mit geringen Effekten. Wenn man ein Smartphone per Bluetooth koppelt, sieht das anders aus. Hier werden die Soundprofile des Smartphones genutzt.

Das Gerät kann also guten Sound abspielen. Warum diese Stärke nicht bei den anderen Funktionen (Internetradio, Digitalradio, CD) ausgespielt wird, ist fraglich. Der Sound bleibt in diesen Einstellungen farblos.

Das Gerät ist als Kombination der Funktionen eine gute Idee, für mich aber mit Luft nach oben.

TranslateShow in original languageDas Internetradio von GRUNDIG hat ein schickes und modernes Design und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Inbetriebnahme und die Verbindung mit dem Internet über WLAN war leichter als gedacht, also total unkompliziert.

Die Datum- und Uhrzeit-Anzeige stellt sich automatisch ein, wenn das Radio mit dem Internet verbunden ist. Trotz der kompakten Größe gibt das Internetradio einen absolut tollen Sound wieder. Das Gerät hat ein beleuchtetes Farbdisplay, welches vielleicht etwas größer sein könnte (für die älteren Damen und Herren in der Familie).

Alle unsere Lieblingsradiosender wurden schnell gefunden. Hier muss man allerdings erwähnen, dass die Sendersuche über die Fernbedienung etwas umständlich ist. Eine Sendersuche per Sprachsteuerung wäre eine tolle Alternative.

Wir finden es total super, dass das Internetradio einen integrierten CD-Spieler hat. So kommen unsere alten, heiß geliebten CD´s auch nochmal zum Einsatz. Fazit: Wir sind von diesem Internetradio absolut positiv überrascht.

So ein tolles Klangerlebnis hätten wir dem kleinen Gerät nicht zugetraut. Das Radio kam bereits bei Grillabenden zum Einsatz und alle Gäste waren vom Klang und Sound begeistert. Wir können es jedem Radio-Liebhaber nur empfehlen!.

TranslateShow in original languageTolles Gert. Annhernd selbsterklrende Bedienung. Texteingabe fr WLAN-Schlssel etwas fummelig, aber das macht man ja auch nur 1x und dann hoffentlich nie wieder. Tonqualitt ist brauchbar – wenn auch kein BOSE-Soundsystem.

Klangvolumen reicht mir fr die Beschallung bis ca. 120qm, wenn man nicht unbedingt Partylautstrke abrufen mchte, sondern einfach nur Musik hren will. Optik erinnert an das Design klassischer 90’er-Jahre-Stereoanlagen erweitert um ein Farbdisplay.

Gefllt mir insgesamt. Habe mittlerweile zwei davon.

TranslateShow in original languageWar sehr überrascht über den super Sound. Keineswegs ein Küchenradio. Steht bei mir im Wohnzimmer. Ein wahres Alleskönner. Das Radio spielt neben der eigenen Musik von CD, dem Smartphone oder vom USB-Stick oder dem Heimnetzwerk auch Radio via Antenne (DAB+ und UKW) und aus dem Internet ab.

This version provides excellent sound quality, particularly linked digitally to a majority sound bar, and has every kind of sound output one could wish.

In fact, there is little need to use DAB or FM radio unless you are worried about a few seconds’ delay; the range and quality of the internet radio stations available is amazing.

I am not being paid to write this review. However, I have been blown away by just how good it is and for the money this is brilliant. Looks the same size as most stackable Hi-Fi components and I have paired it up with a Cambridge Audio Amp and Mission LX 2 speakers.

The connectivity and versatility is awesome – it has DAB, FM,Internet Radio, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, extensive menu screens including date and time displays, an output volume control, as well as a remote.

It comes with FM Ariel, as well as 2 more for Bluetooth and DAB and the only criticism is the remote does not light up at night to see the buttons in the dark, and the display (dimmable) is not easy to read from the other side of the room.

Connection to wi-fi is easy, so is storing presets (10 on each type like internet, FM, and DAB), and it comes with a 3 year guarantee if you register online. There are also online tutorials in video format on the Majority website.

Without trying to sound over-enthusiastic, the features and quality would be worth 3 or 4 times what I paid and maybe because the case is made from tough plastic as opposed to metal, this was a way to keep the price down.

Take it from me, it looks good, sounds good, works good, and is priced good. Thoroughly recommended and even has a headphone out socket and with Bluetooth I can play all the music on my phone through it and my Hi-Fi as well as Amazon music playlists and music I own.

It really is great and for the money I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend it. Well done Majority – stunning piece of kit and many thanks!.

TranslateShow in original languageAchtung, es gibt zwei Versionen des Gerts. Die ltere Version hat eine USB Charge Buchse zum Laden aber nicht zum Abspielen von USB Stick. Auch die LAN Buchse fehlt dann.

Die bessere Version ist die V2. Da kann man auch von USB Sticks Musik abspielen. Sonst ein Top Gert. Einfache Bedienung, sieht sehr schick aus und die Soundqualitt ist gut.

Radio HAMA to rewelacyjny dźwięk i spore ułatwienie, nie ogranicza mnie i pozwala na słuchanie tego na co akurat mam ochotę.

TL;DR – this is the perfect radio for those who want a gorgeous, retro vibe but are specifically looking for smart features. Pros: Intuitive interface. The large, bright screen and the nice, tactile buttons plus the menu itself are all well thought out, a step up from the Roberts istream 93i we also own, which was already very good.

Interfaces with Spotify very well, including if there’s more than one Spotify profile on the network switching control, which the 93i sometimes struggles with. The associated app Undok works well, especially for browsing internet radio, also switches between Roberts radios nicely if you’re moving around the house.

It can feasibly be operated solely through the app, as it even be used to switch it on and off, though it’d be a shame to miss out on the physical controls that have clearly had a lot of thought gone into them.

Well constructed, and looks gorgeous. The leather and grille look and feel very premium. The best looking radio I’ve ever owned (ours is in black). Very good sound quality. Thought it sounded weirdly bassy at first, which it did as the default EQ has loudness compensation set to on.

Fills any room in the house even at low volume settings. Remarkably good clarity for a radio, through the grille can just about make out a 3-ish inch driver and separate tweeter. Cons: The leather can be a bit of a dust trap, and I would certainly suggest keeping it out of the way of any splashes in a kitchen setting.

The recessed control panel is a bit of a pain to clean but is fine when armed with slightly dampened cotton buds. Ours is in our bedroom though, so probably exposed to more dust than most. This is probably the only con that we’ve come across, it’s a solid piece of kit that we would certainly replace if it were broken etc.

No comment on battery life or smart functions other than Spotify and Undok as we don’t use anything else and it’s permanently plugged in.

Bought from John Lewis in Oxford Street on Wednesday. My daughter has a dark blue model so I knew about all the features. I chose a black one and fortunately it was in stock! I love how much it can be customised according to preferences such as different standby brightness (ideal for the bedside) and the dual alarms mean different wake up times at the weekends.

It is worth downloading the UNDOK app to work as a remote control which is responsive and intuitive. I bought this as a treat to myself as the bedside radio but the sound quality is so good it will be making trips downstairs quite often! Be aware that the sound is mono when using the internal speaker but it has a bass reflex port so the bass is far better than you might expect from a unit this size.

I mostly listen to Radio 4 so mono is not a huge issue for me. The colour LCD display is nice and clear and displays album art when streaming from Spotify- a nice touch. Everything feels good quality about this radio and I am looking forward to many years of faithful service.

I have not yet tried it playing songs from a USB stick and now I have a Spotify account probably won’t bother but it is good to know it has the ability to do this.

I’ve had this radio for a year or two now, and on the whole I’m pleased with it. But for an internet-connected radio it is remarkably dumb. It does not update the clock for British Summer Time, nor when the clocks change back in the autumn.

My fitbit updates, my central heating clock updates, my computers/tablets/phones all update. But not this stupid radio. Why not? Also, the radio automatically turns itself off after 2 hours, even though there is plenty of charge left in the batteries.

Why? Again, a really stupid design feature. Shame, as this could so easily be a superb radio.

I have had it for two days and love it. Been listening to so many stations around the world. It completely replaces SW radio. The radio is clean, stylish, not too big, not too small. Of course no DAB in the States which is a shame.

TranslateShow in original languageNach 7 Jahren habe ich mein erstes Internetradio mit dem Grundig DTR 5000 X Black ersetzt. Vom Ersteindruck bin ich zufrieden. Habe im Markt die Möglichkeit der Klangprobe genutzt, was sich positiv auf die Kaufentscheidung auswirkte.

Viel brauch ich nicht sagen zu dem Internetradio. Es unterhält mich, mit schönen Klang, mit einen optisch gut aufgeräumten Display, was in der Helligkeit auch einstellbar ist. Der Sendersuchlauf ist simpel sowie die ganze Bedienbarkeit.

Auch die Verbindung zu meinen Iphone mittels Bluetooth, war Problemlos. Das entsprechende Album wird auch auf dem Display vom Radio angezeigt. Für meine Anwendung, etwas Musik zu kören, egal aus welcher Ecke von Deutschland, der Welt oder eben von meinem Smartphone, dafür reicht es mir aus.

Von CD & Co. habe ich mich schließlich schon vor Jahren verabschiedet. Das einzige was ich vermisse, ist ein Netzwerkstecker am Gerät, dass hätte man noch mit einbauen können.

TranslateShow in original languageDas Radio habe ich für mein Arbeitszimmer gekauft und höre damit hauptsächlich Internetradio. Das Gerät wirkt gut verarbeitet und erinnert mich ein wenig an die guten alten Grundig Zeiten.

Der Internetempfang ist gut, die Verbindung stabil. Die Bedienung vom Gerät ist problemlos und das Display hat eine scharfe Anzeige. Der Klang für ein Radio dieser Größe ist in Ordnung, ein Klangwunder darf man aber nicht erwarten.

Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden und würde es wieder kaufen.
