20 Best Interior Wipes For Car (2023 Updated)

I use this simply because it’s the only thing I know that cleans, conditions and shines many parts of my car, not because I like it. Honestly the smell is the worst. It’s like a rancid barbecue grill with a melted Barbie on it.

It makes me I’ll and I feel like it’s probably marching me prematurely toward death. And if the smell doesn’t kill you, not being able to grip your steering wheel for several days after use will. I hate the greasy residue but in fairness, it has surprisingly never stained my clothes.

This convenient tub of whiles will be on my repurchase list until someone makes a better product, even if I don’t like it.

The formula for these wipes has been changed in the last 12 months. I have been buying these purple “cleaning” container wipes for years. I use them twice a week to wipe down my steering wheel, buttons, fabric, etc.

I have a 2020 car so it’s brand new pretty much. In the last 8 months they have turned so beyond terrible. I’ve bought at least 20 packs of them in that time period, and each time they were the new kind.

I was disappointed every single time. They used to be sooo good. They smelled amazing they weren’t greasy, they were perfect. Now they leave a film and residue, the smell has turned to straight chemical and they even CRACKED the heat air buttons on my new vehicle.

It actually is a shame bc I there’s no other products for car fabric and these were my go to brand I trusted. Now I’m just so disappointed they started lacking and making their product cheaper when an upgrade or rebranding of them should contain a better product than before.

These new ones don’t work on fabric btw either. Please bring back the old.

I really liked how this product came as a variety pack and was specifically for the interior part of the car. Each product seems to do what they claim they say they do, the glass cleaner cleaned the glass and left glass streak free.

As for the disinfectant wipes, these are wonderful to have in the car! With COVID now I always have disinfectant wipes to clean surfaces I touch in car, also flu season is upon us so these are very useful and highly used product.

The protector wipes were also very nice to use and I especially liked to use them in our collector car to keep the interior looking and in its best condition. Would definitely purchase this pack again in future!.

If you’re a clean freak & want your car to maintain that ‘new car’ look, like myself, this probably has been a frequent buy due to its convenience & versatility; furthermore, I’ve used this on ALL cars I’ve owned and nothing too bad jumped out at me, but when I’ve recently been using it I’ve started to notice that it has been altering my interior negatively… it will lift and wipe-away any paint.

For example, my dash was new and held a fresh paint-look, now it looks sun-damaged; I later realized this product removed the paint on my dashboard (no wonder why the wipe looked so black, I just thought it was really that dirty lmao) and the on thing I knew and previously noticed was that I’d wipe my lights/ turn signal stock & wiper stock and realized it was removing the markings (like nail polish remover).

My friend started wiping his boot with it and it was removing the paint & color off his boot! Not to mention it claims “lint-free, won’t leave greasy residue on hands” but it in-fact will leave a funky feeling layer of grease on your hands.

Now don’t get me wrong I love their products, they’re convenient, cheap, and can be bought anywhere but I will lean off of their wipes for future purposes.

Something in these wipes changed. I have been buying for YEARS the “purple” cleaning ones. They were so good, they stayed moist and had a great smell and stated you could use on fabric and dash/ etc.

They rebranded the containers changed the wipes and the smell. They are greasy now, the smell is disgusting, it literally cracked the buttons on my car from use. (The heat buttons and temp buttons) And I’m someone who uses them 2 times a week to clean my car.

If you read reviews you will see that the old reviews are great, because the old product was GREAT. Idk what happened or what they did but they are beyond terrible now. I really hope based on recent reviews Armorall decides to go back to the old wipes.

So disappointing bc this was the only brand I trusted on my car and now I will not buy.

I used this on the interior using several different methods outlined in the videos. First I applied to a damp cloth and got all the flat areas of the dash, Console and steering wheel. Went after the door cards with a soft bristle brush and the rest of the console with a round horse hair brush with a little sprayed in the bristles.

It cleans great. Doesn’t have much of a smell at all certainly not chemically. One problem I had was everything had to be wiped down really well after I used it or it seemed to leave a sticky film. But once I went over it it looked and felt great.

The only other issue I had was it says it can be used on any interior surface. This car had shiny black plastic and chrome around the stereo. It cleaned great, got all the finger prints, smudges and everything with very little agitation from the round brush, but it left a film on the plastic.

Ended up spending a good bit of time with a dry microfiber trying to remove that. Once I did it looked amazing. Overall a great product. I was wondering if it could be diluted? Maybe that would reduce some of the streaking.

I’m particular about my car products. I hate greasy products that leave a shine and companies that spend more on marketing than product development. This was my first Pink Power purchase and I will NEVER go back.

I have since convinced other car buddies and enthusiasts to give it a try and have a 100% conversion rate. Works great with brushes and by itself on a towel. I choose to buy direct from them because I don’t want rocket boy taking any of their margin.

I love this product. Dilute it down an it’s an awesome interior cleaner in the Tornador. I use it on every vehicle that I clean the inside of. I highly recommend this product, it will make your interior cleaning so much easier,,.

The cleaning and polishing wipes are fantastic but just buy them separately because the glass wipes ate aweful. Streaks so bad.

I like that these wipes come in three different cleaners. I use one for cleaning glass, one for cleaning dash pads and door panels and the other for polishing and use as a protectant.

Purchased the 3 pack to clean my car after a long KY winter. The cleaning wipes cleaned all surfaces of my car and got the old drinks out of the cup holders. The glass cleaner wipes worked wonders on the windows.

The pre-soaked ArmorAll wipes make protection of my leather and plastics shine like new.

These work, but they are not actually good enough to be considered convenient over using spray and a microfiber towel. I will be switching to the spray, which should go better, I think. The outermost wipe at the start of cleaning doesn’t go very far, because it’s no longer wet enough.

Plus when they’re not wet enough, results can be streaky, which happens as they quickly dry with use. I also expect the spray will go much further for the money. When used on glossy surfaces, you really need to wipe with a dry microfiber towel immediately afterwards, otherwise it leaves a water droplet appearance.

These were used on two occasions for an interior detail on a clean and pretty new vehicle, so I can’t speak for how they remove dirt.

BUYER BEWARE. Used these for the 1st time on my brand new vehicle this week. On the label there are virtually no restrictions as to “where” to use or not use. After a wipe down of all surfaces and gauge cluster, came out the next day to have them completely clouded over as there is a chemical reaction to these “cleaning” wipes to the clear plastic.

I found plenty of evidence elsewhere online as complaints too. So my dashboard instruments on my new car are barely readable. Also- these are terrible on your skin. My hands were extremely dry after touching them so you need to wash your hands a few times.

I had accidentally touched the corner of my eye maybe 15min after using and was instant stinging to the point I almost needed to pull off the road. I will be filing a claim with either Target or Armorall on this disaster of a product.

So my family has 3 cars, one is a 2018 Ford Flex which we use to haul our kids & their friends around, grocery shop, etc. , the second is a 2015 Ford Fiesta ST and is my husband’s daily driver (to and from work), the third is my “I have no kids with me, let’s get stuff done” car, and it’s also used to drive my kids around, grocery shop, etc.

It’s my main car to drive, and it’s a 2012 Ford Fusion. While my husband’s car doesn’t have the same “my kids use my cars like a trash can” issue, it still gathers dust over time. In the past we have used whatever detail products we could find on sale.

Which actually caused us to really stop using them out of frustration. I hated that “greasy” feeling after I wiped everything down, and I really hated that is seemed that our newly detailed vehicles seemed to attract more dust AFTER we used the detail wipes (go figure!).

It was a constant battle until it wasn’t because we gave up (pick your battles, right?!). Anyway, I got the ArmorAll Interior Detailer Wipes the other day, and was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked! I have to say one of my favorite things about them (other than the shiny “new car” look), was the fact that there is no greasy after effect.

Only shiny, beautiful awesomeness (see below). The only thing I disliked (and the reason for the 4 instead of the 5 stars) was that there are only 25 wipes in the container. Our faith in detail wipes has been renewed! We will be using ArmourAll Interior Detailer Wipes from now on! FYI, the Flex has leather seats, and they are now nice and shiny, until my kids get ahold of them again (hence the wanted more in a tub), the Fusion and Fiesta are both cloth interior.

My pictures are of the Fusion, because my Fusion was the worst, and the first one I of the 3 cars I did. Oh, and they smell good too. No chemical smell at all!.

I tried these but Im going back to the standard Armor All that has worked perfectly for decades. This product is convenient but the solution is so watered down that it dries streaky and feels and looks watery.

I end up using five or more wipes just on my dash and I clean the dash multiple times a week. After about five of the wipes I get a consistent finish that is not streaky. These are not horrible, but if you are looking for a streak free finish then you are going to put in some work.

The label says good for navigation screens. no. Very streaky and I end up having to buff the screen off to remove the streaks.

I used this stuff on the interior of my 2017 Z06/Z07 and it is – TERRIBLE! My interior is now all smeary looking with dry spots and shiny spots. It looks AWFUL! When applied with the light sheets that come with the product, it gives the sense of adding some wet look to the interior surfaces but as it dries or cures it does so unevenly so it looks like you did a half-assed job of cleaning the car.

As much as I like some of Meguiar’s other products this one is a loser. I just hope it hasn’t ruined my interior.

Have had great results with many other Meguiar’s products till this one. Does next to nothing as far as I can see. A damp rag would so as much. Do not wipe clear plastic with it as it leaves a film on it.

Sheets are small and kind of flimsy to my hand. I’ll use them up as I bought last fall just before cold weather set in. So did not use till March this year. Oh well.

These clean up dirt and grime well and leave a nice scent. They do say you can use on electronic screens, but in my experience it leaves streaks unless you dry it off very quickly. The scent disappears fast as these are wipes and not an air freshener.

Best of all, they don’t leave a shiny residue! So no fingerprints and greasy films left all over the car. These are great to use on black leather seats, and do not leave white fluff behind.

By all my favorite go-to brand. I use this on my crv interior. I have 3 toddlers so it feels like I’m constantly cleaning with all the nasty smudges in the back doors and windows. The wipes feel premium and i thought about buying the spray version as i go through the wipes faster then I have to, but I’m constantly on the go so these wipes work for the time being.

I bought this for my new (used) car that has black leather seats. There was some slight discoloration and fading until I used this. After the first use all color was back and held its shine for over a week! I now reapply when needed and my seats have never looked better!.

I needed something to clean up my interior and have it on hand to preform quick clean ups. Found this and was thinking good enough! Wow not only good enough i cleaned and reguvinated spots on my armrest i have been able to clean since i bought the truck.

Now. I LIVE BY THIS PRODUCT.

The leather wipes are awful!! They leave horrible streaks that don’t go away. The container says to test on an “inconspicuous” spot first but omg they are a leather cleaner! Why in the world should they not work on leather? I’m super bummed.

This makes cleaning your car very easy. They stay moist for quite a while even when left in the car. To extend their life, seal the wipes in a ziploc bag and place back in the bottle. I prefer letting them dry out a bit as they are really wet to begin with and can leave streaks.

Do not use on leather or glass. I usually follow them with a dry cloth to get off excess moisture.

My friend, who is into detailing, recommended that I use this product to give new life to my aging VW GOLF. These mad the cleaning fast and easy and they seem to give the car that ‘new car’ clean image without the sticky residue or any funky after smell.

Which I thought would be almost impossible to achieve given the age of my car and the lack of attention to the car’s interior I have given it over the years. With just a few passes of the wipe, the instrument panel, door panels, steering wheel, dash board and other interior surfaces transformed from dingy to sparkling clean.

Using these wipes is much simpler to use than those spray on a cleaners that leave a filmy coating on surfaces. I used a few wipes the first time and achieved a “show room” appearance without having to take it to a professional and paying a hefty price for the same results.

This is the perfect little canister to keep in the car at all times. The first time I used these, I was completely blown away at how well they picked up foods and liquids reminents off of the seats and floor.

It may not get rid of the entire could be stain, but it definitely tones it down to a much more easily tamed stain for the carpet cleaner when you get home. The scent is nice and fresh without smelling completely chemically.

As a parent, I absolutely appreciate a product like this.

I decided the best thing for me to clean with these in order to have a good or bad first impression with this brand, would be to use in my husband’s car because over a year ago, he had a soda explode in his car and it has left some awful looking areas on the upholstery.

Knowing that these stains are old, I assumed this product wouldn’t be able to clean the spots well and that I was possibly being unfair to use this as a first impression but to my surprise, it helped tremendously on those areas.

Some spots wiped away and are not even there anymore which is great, and the areas that were the biggest spills, the biggest eyesores to look at, are now faded so well that they aren’t very noticeable anymore.

That blew me away because not only did it help but the wipes are so simple to use and have worked great on recent spill as well. I am definitely impressed and a fan of this product and will be purchasing more from now on!.

There is nothing worse than getting a coffee stain or other stains on my car upholstery. I never tried Armor All Upholstery Wipes before. They are always coming out with new products to try. I used the wipes on all my seats in my car that had stains.

I was so happy how great they worked. The stains came out completely with no residue. The Armor All Wipes have a pleasant scent and also work great in the carpet in my car. I have already bought more in a larger size to keep on hand.

If you’re a Migraine Sufferer, DO NOT purchase this product. I could not drive my vehicle without developing a migraine. I had to wipe down my vehicle interior three to four times over several days with soap and water in order to get rid of most of the scent.

The scent still lingers, however, very faint.

Armor All in general has always been a trusted brand. When I have to clean my car these are usually the wipes I tend to go for. This was my first try of the New Car air freshening wipes and let me tell you I have zero complaints.

Not only does it leave my car smelling so fresh and so clean. The wipes get rid of all dust and dirt build up. In every little nook and cranny I was able to get in and get it all nicely cleaned. My car looks like if I went and had it professionally cleaned.

All because of these wipes. I highly recommend and would buy 1000 times over. Great job armor all.

I used the Armor All Air Freshening Protectant wipes on my Dodge Grand Caravan. I wiped all my plastic and vinyl parts inside the van. Made my van look new again. I like that they added a freshener to the wipes.

When you use them they do 2 things at once. They clean all the dirt, dust, and grime and they make your vehicle smell good at the same time. I have 3 kids that can make a vehicle a mess really fast. Having these wipes helps to keep my van looking almost new again.

After 2 weeks my dashboard still has a nice matte finish on it. I just wipe any dirt away with a cloth in between using the wipes.

Oh my GOODNESS this is our go to cleaning wipes! We detail cars and let me tell you we have tried many of products and nothing works as well as this. Streak free cleaning and amazing shine with the use of these.

I love the fresh scent these leave in the car. One wipe can clean the whole dashboard! Which is pretty amazing. When using these you dont even need to scrub because they clean and pick up so well! Highly reccomend!.

Today is Saturday, June 26, 2021. I purchased a container of ARMORALL CLEANING WIPES within the past week. I guess my definition of “Moist” is different from the company’s because my container’s wipes were definitely NOT moist.

They barely left a trail when I used them. The lot number on the bottom is: 1010114 20:08 216. If this helps the company track what may be a bad batch, glad I could help. I’ve purchased Armorall products in the past and have bee satisfied.

This has not been one of those purchases.

ArmorAll is always a reliable brand and these wipes do not disappoint. They clean well for surface stains, but not for deep stains (which I don’t believe they are intended to). While the scent is find, it doesn’t particularly smell like a new car – but it’s been quite some time since I have had a new car.

Works surprisingly well! Read other reviews before buying and can confirm it really brings the leather seats back to life with rich black and gloss and without too much residue. Even then a quick wipe with a cloth will clean it up leaving the seats looking great! It does use up quite a few wipes so would probably get the spray bottle next time.

These wipes are really named right. Good as gold on my Toyota Avalon leather seats and apolstry. They clean, and condition the leather in one step. Leave the leather soft as butter and UV protected. Never grease feeling, or affect your cloths.

Then take them in the house and clean and protect your leather furniture. I love buying them in the convenient tub. Advance has the best price and always in stock.

I’ll be the first to admit that my car needs a little more attention than it usual gets. You can tell that I have an entire herd of children and zero time to dedicate to detailing the interior of my car.

However, while I was sitting at the bus stop this morning with the kids, I whipped out a wipe and hit the dash with it. Glorious. The dust layer was gone in an instant and everything looked nice and shiny.

I used wipes on the radio, plastic and even a little spot of vinyl. They worked on all of the surfaces equally well. The wipes don’t leave any type of residue behind and they’re not sticky or smelly.

You get a light “clean car scent”, but nothing overly offensive for a confined space. These dispense just like every other cleaning wipe on the market, and the canister closes easily to keep leftover wipes moist and fresh.

I plan to keep these in my car and do a few minutes of cleaning each day while I wait for the bus until my car is clean-ish again, and then hopefully just a maintenance wipe once a week. If you’re low on time, these are an absolute must-have.

Armor All Clean Up Wipes are amazing at cleaning. It works great on plastic and on cloth surfaces. I had spilled some energy drink and I didn’t clean it up right away so it got dried on and sticky. I grabbed a Clean Up Wipe and it cut right through it and easily removed it from my console and from the floor carpet.

The cloths are thick and sturdy and can scrub well if needed. They didn’t tear or shred when I vigorously scrubbed the carpet. The container is a little smaller than the size of a soda can and fits easily in a standard sized cup holder or into your glove box.

Armor All Clean Up Wipes also have a light lemon scent that is refreshing and says “clean”. They didn’t leave a sticky residue like other cleaning wipes can. They just left a clean, bright surface. They are a must have to keep in your car.

I recently purchased a brand new 2020 Honda Civic (in February) with leather interior. It was recommended to me to apply leather care to the leather seats and other leather surfaces. I took this advice and purchased your leather care protectant wipes.

I used these wipes on the seats and doors (again, leather surfaces). I noticed streaking right away but made the unfortunate assumption that the streaking would resolve in given time, once dried. It has been approximately three weeks since I first used the leather protectant wipes and regretfully say that the streaks are still present.

I have not used any other application to the surface in fear to further ruin the leather and new car appearances. I’m embarrassed to have fallen into the trap of buying a product that ruins rather than improves.

This is one thing I was waiting for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler leather seats. I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Dragon Edition, the best part of this edition is it has a dragon emblem etched on the driver and passenger seats.

I always wanted to clean the seats with something that is more durable for the leather and increase the life of leather. I did not want to use the oil or other leather products which are made for other leather goods like jackets n all.

I have to products but the quality of these leather are different than jaclets. so when I received these wipes I was little reluctunt to use them as I did not want to ruin the leather. I tried it on the rear seat and oh man it cleaned like new.

wiped all the rear seats and I could easily see the difference between 2. its like new and old types difference. Then I moved to the front seats and oh boy it was so awesome, I wish I had these long ago.

The wipes clean and give your leather seats a nice shine. It conditions your leather and protects against cracking, spills and fading. The container says not to use it on the steering wheel or other spots as it can make it slippery.

It also guarantees the wipes will stay moist for a year with the “moisture lock lid. ” The wipes really make your leather look refreshed. It did not seem to help already cracked leather but the areas around it were much softer and in better condition it seems.

The ArmorAll leather car wipes do exactly as described.

They do exactly what they say it will do. i use them on my leather sofas & they bring it up lovely with no effort what so ever. they are great value for money & dispatch is pretty quick aswel. I really recommend these & I will continue reordering from them.

excellent product with good cleaning, easy to use one wipe at a time, also found it works well on steering wheels and those “grubby” bits like seat edges and arm rests. I would but this product again.

I bought these mainly for my leather seats in car and they definitely make the seats shine. I only ended up using 4 wipes on all seats including the dash too so pretty good definitely will be buying more.

I bought these dashboard wipes as I thought the car’s vinyl needed a refresh. Does a good job, although it doesn’t mask small dis-colourisations from where things have been stuck on before. Maybe wishful thinking it would, but overall leaves a nice finish.

I bought this product a few weeks ago and it cleans the dash and hard parts of my car as advertised! Only con with the product is that the wipes are very difficult to get through the gap in the lid and break off after every wipe causing me to have to rethread the wipes through the hole.

Not a major issue more an inconvenience, hence the 4 stars! Otherwise great product.
