Interactive toys are designed to engage your dog’s natural instincts and provide stimulating mental and physical activity. They are a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically challenged, and can help to prevent boredom and destructive behaviours.
Interactive toys come in all shapes and sizes, and can be as simple as a Kong toy filled with treats, or as complex as an electronic puzzle toy. Some popular interactive toys for dogs include:
– Kong toys: Kongs are hollow rubber toys that can be filled with treats or food. They are designed for dogs to chew on and try to get the treats out. Kongs come in different sizes and levels of hardness, so you can find one that is suitable for your dog’s chewing habits.
– Puzzle toys: Puzzle toys are designed to challenge your dog’s problem-solving skills. They usually involve your dog manipulating a toy or object in order to get a treat or food reward. Puzzle toys can be as simple as a toy that dispenses treats when your dog pushes it with their nose, or as complex as an electronic toy that requires your dog to press different buttons in the correct sequence to get a treat.
– Fetch toys: Fetch toys are designed for you and your dog to play together. They usually involve throwing a toy for your dog to catch, and can be a great way to get some exercise for both of you. Popular fetch toys include tennis balls, Frisbees, and flying discs.
– Tug toys: Tug toys are designed for you and your dog to play together. They usually involve you holding one end of a toy while your dog grabs the other end and pulls. Tug toys can be a great way to build up your dog’s muscles, and can also be used as a training tool (for example, you can use a tug toy to teach your dog to ‘drop it’).
– chew toys: Chew toys are designed for your dog to chew on, and can help to relieve boredom and curb destructive chewing behaviours. Chew toys come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and can be made from materials such as rubber, rope, or even real bones.

Have the dimensions on these toys changed significantly? I ordered two of these balls earlier this year and my pittie mix destroyed the smaller one in days, so we were more careful with the larger one, and it is only recently that she’s taken this one apart.
I ordered a new one — large. My bad for not drilling down into more of the description, because “large” is about the size of a softball. Worthless. I’ll be sending it back. What I was replacing was about the size of a smallish pumpkin.
Dimensions, photos with relevant dog sizes would be super helpful. That said, I also ordered a holee roller extreme, which is about the same size as this pseudo-large, but much thicker in construction.
I bought these and use them for my Nigerian Dwarf goats as enrichment and feeder toys. They cut down on my hay waste significantly as the holes are small enough to only let the goats pull out what they will eat at that moment rather than having a lot fall out with the mouthful they took.
I generally hide a few treats in the middle of the hay stuffed into the toy, and with how durable it is these balls have no issues with my little boys tossing them around and stomping on them daily! The Medium sized balls are pretty good for babies who are just beginning to learn to eat hay, I use the Large ones for 3 months to about 7 months and the Jumbo are perfect for adults! Like stated above, I use these for Nigerian Dwarf goats that end up at around 75 Lbs full grown so can’t say for other breeds, but for the smaller breeds of goats they should do just as well!.
Nostalgic for you and big, adorable fun for your pooch, Lamb Chop will be an instant family fave. Whether you and your pup are playing a frisky game of fetch, launching Lamp Chop high in the air or happily squeaking her, this beloved character brings along instant joy for pups and peeps.

Perfect for puppies and dogs who enjoy interactive play time, chewing, and fetch. After the fun is done, she’s great for cuddling. Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff.
Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
All New Material. Content: Polyester Fibers and Squeaker.

We recently lost one of our two Golden Retrievers and the one left is beside herself. We had another that passed in January of 2021, who was a litter-mate of our last one, Mira. She has never been an ‘only’ dog and is acting lost while looking for her pack.
About a week after the 2nd golden passed, she started shunning her food; she’d eat a little but that was it! I was on the Chewy app buying her shampoo and some treats when I came upon LambChop in the Jumbo size.
I bought it thinking it might help in her search. Long story short, as long as Lammie is next to her bowl, she’ll eat! I have since ordered 4 more Jumbo plushes (assorted animals) for her so that we always have a go to! Thank you Chewy for carrying such great products!!!.
Our incredible 92 lb. Retired Racing Greyhound is over the moon about the first toys in his life. But if they’re stuffies, they’re usually joyfully shredded to smithereens in a minute. ( Aka “stuffie murder”).
However, this boy has never touched anything we haven’t given him, even when he’s alone at home. He knows the difference between our things and his. I expect it, and I trust him. Enter this wonderful extra large stuffed lamb! I’ve set it down on a table at his eye level where he sees it constantly, about 1 1/2 months ago.
He looks and looks but does not touch. My plan is to pet and love the Lambie before giving it to Aslan on Christmas morning. Will there be a Christmas miracle? Will it cure his stuffie murder? Stay tuned.

Created to help you bond with your buddy, this pupper puzzle toy can help you play together while encouraging his natural hunting instincts. It’s made from tough composite plastic with the look of real wood and without any removable parts for safety, durability and long-lasting fun.
Good puzzle toy. The first one I’ve bought, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. It fits half a cup of puppy food. I have a 7 month old husky. It took her a while to get it the first time. After a couple more times, she’s got the hang of it, and I wish it took her longer.
She also has figured out how to cheat it; they are supposed to move the middle to get the food under there, but she’s figured out how to get her tongue under and get that food without moving it.
I have a very smart, high-need-for-stimulation 25-lb mini labradoodle, and she LOVES this puzzle. It took her a few times to get the hang of the lily pad section (which was a good challenge). She plays with it almost every day, and now she can solve it in a few minutes, but that’s the longest a puzzle has ever taken her, so I’m happy.
It’s held up well with no signs of wear & tear after a few months of near-daily use. I give it to her when going out or when I’m stuck in work meetings and it keeps her entertained.
The GoughNuts Tug Original was designed to address the simple but serious issue of SAFETY. The GoughNuts Tug was designed knowing that safety and fun go hand to mouth (a dog’s jaw)! The Goughnuts Tug is an interactive tough, durable product.
The goals remain the same in that they want to provide the safest possible products that are durable and fun. The rubber is the same recipe as used on the rings but they are marked on the outside with red to show that there is not a safety indicator in this product.
The GoughNuts Hero Tug was designed and manufactured with an intent to give back to Rescue organizations. Each year Goughnuts will publish the checks written corresponding to the purchase of this specific product.
Please continue to rely on the GoughNut Rings (that have a safety indicator) for constant power chewing. The GoughNuts Tug Original is for larger dogs. The Tug is 9″ x 5″ with a 1. 375″ cross section.
I love this toy. My puppy is a chewer and has eaten through everything else. But not this. This is the most durable toy by far. She absolutely loves it and it makes me happy to see her so happy. Definitely recommend to all dog owners.
The Dog Casino interactive treat puzzle is a level 3 advanced dog game from Nina Ottosson by Outward Hound that’s ideal for bored dogs! This interactive dog puzzle features six treat drawers for dog treats which can be accessed by twisting the bone locks.

Easy to clean with warm water and soap between uses.
Dogs also need mental stimulation in addition to physical stimulation and for this you should use toys that are suitable. Normally pets do not develop their cognitive abilities sufficiently, this can have consequences on their mood.
This can lead to behavioral problems. To avoid that and to get him to find the perfect balance between mind and body, you should offer him interactive toys. You will also improve the bond with your furry friend while having fun and learning at the same time.

Latex, vinyl and phthalate free. Offers hours of challenging play Refillable ball system encourages play which helps reduce anxiety and boredom behaviors.
I had gotten this toy back in October for his 1st birthday. And he loves it! I was really apprehensive about getting it because of some of the reviews. My fur baby is a heavy chewer, we’ve lost a check book, a few pairs of shoes (amongst other items) because of it, hehe.
But he hasn’t destroyed this toy like his others. And don’t give his a squeaker toy, it’ll be shredded in 5 minutes. But he has NOT shredded this toy, just to eat the squeaker! He pushes this ball (toy) around the house as he grabs and eats his kibble as he goes.
(I cut 2 “nubs” out on each side, opposite of each other). Now the spoiled pup won’t eat his kibble on a regular basis, unless it’s filled into the toy first. But I will take the 5 minutes of solitude from my high energy fur baby, as a blessing.
When there is nothing left to fall out of the ball (toy), then and only then, will he go to his food bowl. LOL.
My dog, Otis, inhales his food, causing hiccups and indigestion. We started using this toy to slow down his meals and found that it also made mealtime more fun and exciting for him. He chases the ball around and wags his tail throughout his meal–a 5-star review from Otis! It holds a cup of kibble, so it’s big enough to contain Otis’ whole meal (he eats smaller kibble which fits through the holes).
Easy to put the food in (unlike other feeder toys we’ve used). Also easy to clean. The dishwasher did warp it a bit, but it still works fine. According to Chewy. com, “This toy is non-toxic and BPA-free.
It’s also free of latex, vinyl, and phthalates. “.
I have a smart, food obsessed, moderate chewer. He figures out slow feeders eventually, and will literally inhale his food if it’s just in a bowl. This ball slows him down and provides him with some much needed mental stimulation.
My main problem is that it is so hard to fill. I’ve tried using the cut off top of a bottle like the manufacturer suggests, but despite trying different bottle sizes, it does not fit. I can’t find a funnel that is big enough for his kibble to go through.
So I’m stuck shoving kibble into the opening with my fingers, which is time consuming when you’re talking about an entire meal. This is the only thing that has continued to work for us, and I appreciate that it is made out of a soft material, but I wish it was easier to fill.
I’d recommend this if you’re using it occasionally or for small amounts of treats, but for twice daily use to max capacity, I need something easier to fill. It is vanilla scented and tends to collect hair and lint from the floors.
Fun, interactive dog toys from the Zippy Burrow series. Includes 3 small, plushCookie squeaker toys inside the mainMilk Carton toy with two holes on the side. This toy will challenge your small dog to see how many toys they can extract from the carton! Overall dimensions are approximately 6″D x 5″W x 7.
5″H. Each cookie toy is roughly 3″ wide and 3″ high.
Key Benefits Made of FDA food-approved, high-strength, plastic polymer. Entertaining wobble action for added excitement. Top screws off from bottom for easy filling. Dishwasher safe, so it’s easy to clean.
Dispenses food and treats for hours of fun. Can also be used as an alternative to a dog bowl to help slow and extend mealtime. Recommended by vets worldwide and comes in 2 sizes.
My rough and tumble dog who destroys toys in a manner of minutes has had one of these for almost four years now and it doesn’t even LOOK beat up. She’s rough with this thing-smacking it into walls, shoving it into doors, and on one memorable occasion pushing it down a full flight of stairs (it didn’t even bust open, didn’t even untwist at ALL).
She still goes up to this thing and will ask for it when she knows it’s dinner time. Cannot recommend the Wobbler enough, it’s a wonderful product. It’s loud on hardwood floors and I will bet you is tougher than most if not all of your floor level decorations.
The hole in it is large enough to dispense most kibbles without just dumping food everywhere as it goes. It also holds ALOT. My beastie gets 3/4 a cup at a time, but this thing could hold 2 full cups no problem (I have the large version).
And even after almost four years of heavy use, it still goes together and unscrews just fine. Do yourself a favor, get you and your dog(s) a wobbler.
First of all, I am extremely pleased with the expedient service I receive from Chewy. My order usually arrives in approximately 2 days after being placed. My dog, an 18 month old sheltie loves the wobbler.
I have had it for a week and I use it every night for dinner. My dog has a reactivate personality so this is excellent for him to have to use his brain to think to get his food. It really slows down his eating and at the same time he seems to really enjoy it.
It is very well made and I highly recommend this toy to anyone who wants or needs their dog to be challenged. Please pay attention to the measurement of each size offered to make sure you select the proper one for your dog’s height & weight.

I might have purchased every “Non destructible” and “for aggressive chewers” toy sold on Chewy and elsewhere which my 1 year old pit has destroyed in minutes. I look for rubber toys because she doesn’t like hard toys that don’t squish when she chews.
After leaving several bad product reviews, I had a wonderful conversation with a Chewy employee who suggested this Jumble line of Kong toys. I was hesitant because my dog has a box full of every Kong made and isn’t interested in any of them (unless there’s peanut butter inside) because they don’t have what I call a “satisfying bouncy chew”.
The Chewy staff person promised me this line had a bouncy chew feeling plus a hard-core squeaker that her dogs loved. We live with a 125 lb wolfhound and the beasts play crazy rough with their 3 Kong jumbles everyday and there isn’t so much as a nick on an of them after 3 weeks.
Of course, I might be losing my mind with the nonstop squeaking but the dogs are happy!.
I LOVE this toy. Your dog does need a strong big mouth to carry it around. I have 2 friends that weigh 240lbs together. My service dog is very smart and good at problem solving, yet he can’t figure out how to get the ball out, he doesn’t like toys to squeak, so when he’s working on getting the ball out, he gets mad when it squeaks, lol! My other buddy is very cute, loves to sing and loves to play fetch.
He’s not a problem solver though. He can carry the toy across the yard to fetch, but he can’t make it squeak! He steals it from Simon once it squeaks he’s done with it. Luke tries to make it squeak, then he gets frustrated and tries to get us to play fetch!.
Love the overall idea of this engaging dog toy but there is a need for Kong to improve the design of this toy to better protect human hands from getting accidentally bitten by a very excited dog using it to play tug with his/her owner.
The space between outer ring (divided into 3 sections) where the dog gabs onto one section with its mouth and the center ball is too narrow causing a large dogs to grasp that outer ring using “the side teeth of its mouth” versus the “front teeth of its mouth.
” As a result, the dog’s mouth necessarily comes in close contact with the person holding onto either of the other 2 sections of the ring. If the outer ring was positioned about “another” 2 or more inches away from the center ball, the dog could grab the ring using the “front teeth” of its mouth enabling those teeth to be farther away from the person holding onto the toy by one of the other sections of the ring.
Because there are only 3 sections of the outer ring, whichever section the dog grabs with its teeth, it will always be “next to either” of the other 2 sections of the ring that the person might choose to play tug with the dog pulling on this toy.
During the excitement of play, my dog repeatedly grabs the ring with his side teeth trying to get a better grip and sometimes mistakenly nips my hand holding onto one of the other sections of the ring.
I think that along with providing more space between the outer ring and the center ball, the dividing bars between the ring sections should be much thicker making it uncomfortable for the dog to grab onto these section dividers to be more protective of the person’s hands holding onto one of the other ring sections.
A rolling, bouncing, fun-filled feast that’s as tough as it is fun. KONG Rewards randomly dispenses treats or kibble as a dog moves it around. Providing healthy mental stimulation, the unique shape also has an unpredictable bounce that keeps dogs active while they play.
The durable material, designed for long-lasting sessions of quiet fun, can also be used for meals to manage weight. Durable treat dispenser for mental stimulation Bounce and roll action keeps dogs active Designed for quiet play sessions Supervised use only.
Dogs are very playful and intelligent animals. Channel their energy and curiosity into something positive with Trixie’s Mad Scientist for Dogs. It’s designed for the intermediate canine gamer. Simply place treats inside any of the three beakers and cover with our lids with holes.
Once the beakers are correctly flipped and balanced upside down, the treats will be released. Dimensions: 8. 5″ L x 7″ W x 12. 75″ H.
This is a really easy assembly and works great for my cat and dog. Although, neither of them is quite at level 2 puzzle solving, they are interested and the tubes are easy for them to push/manipulate with their paws.
Just make sure the treats are small enough to not get stuck under the bar that extends through the middle of them. I also like that the difficulty can be customized between no lid, the lid with the large hole, and the lid with the small holes, or some combination of the three.
It does seem to have weights in the bottom, helping to keep it steady and stable, but a really determined dog could absolutely knock it over. It disassembles really easily and is fairly easy to wipe down by hand – there aren’t really any nooks or crannies for food or treats to get stuck or wedged into.

I got these in hopes of entertaining my new pup a Chi-Poo. At first she wanted nothing, notta, no interest at all of them! But lucky for us it was not a lost purchase. Our Yorkie decided these were/are the best thing ever! Hubby & I laughed so hard the first night I peed myself.
After about a week our Chi-Poo decided she would try pushing it around a bit, & from that moment she was/is non stop with it! & a month later she is still lovin it! She loves to start rolling it, then will pick it up & throw in the yard (self entertainment) & then run & pounce on it & roll on it & do her best to hide it from our Yorkie! If you are looking for self entertainment & laughing YOUR butt off, this is the toy! (Btw) we got all the talking balls & she loves all of them! It’s non stop giggling at our place.
If you are home (as we are, retired) and feel sorry for your dog not having someone to “talk to” other than us, this is the best entertainer! It makes all kinds of sounds so you have to be prepared for that, but our cocker spaniel loves it and all talking balls.
After a doorbell sound, there is a 7th cavalry sound. When I want my husband to get off the couch, I have trained our dog to “sound the charge” which she has leaned comes after the doorbell sound. It only makes sounds when the ball is in motion.
Another plus is now she does not bark when our home doorbell rings as she is so used to that sound on the ball! Love this!.
I would highly recommend, especially for active dogs. My dog absolutely loves this toy. He will play with it until he’s worn out and panting. Yes, it’s noisy (he knows it as his noisy ball) but I can’t deny him when I see how much fun he is having.
One issue: he’s had for exactly one month & there is a problem with the noise maker. It keeps getting stuck on one sound & sometimes doesn’t turn off until I hit it. Not sure if it’s defective or time for a battery change.
Short life if its the battery. I still recommend this regardless.

This puzzle is ideal for dogs who have already mastered levels 1-3 of the Nina Ottosson puzzle line. Made from tough non-removable plastic parts and food safe materials that are BPA, PVC, and phthalate-free.
My cocker spaniel x cavalier lives for food and is a very smart boy (too smart for his own good sometimes). He’s been using this to eat his breakfast and dinner for about 6 months now and it’s fantastic.
The circular puzzle is very hard for him however. It will requite dedicated training to learn how to use it. We just use the square outer ring on a daily basis. Highly recommend this puzzle toy to stimulate your doggy!.
I’ve had the prior few levels of this game and bought it at chewy I was very disappointed at this level of the game. I gave it a try and have given this for my dog to play for over a month now every other night.
It’s too hard. I have a silky terrier, he’s very intelligent with these games, but this puzzle was much more for humans than dogs. It didn’t seem to push his intelligence for instincts growth. I don’t recommend this, don’t waste your money!.
