My daughter absolutely loves this camera. Pictures come out great and it’s lots of fun. With that being said if you do get it for your child supervise them because it’s not a toy camera it’s a real one.

However, the photo paper is ridiculously expensive and you can only use certain batteries in the camera Zinc AA batteries are not compatible and will lead you to believe that the camera is broken (constant red flashing light) when really you just need Alkaline batteries.

Truly I don’t understand the bad reviews. This camera is meant to have a vintage look and feel to the photos you take. If you’re expecting $2000 quality photos, please don’t waste your time. If you’re looking for fun, vintage looking, automatic pictures you can keep for a lifetime, this your camera! I can’t recommend it enough.

I took it to Greece with me and I’m obsessed with the memories I was able to capture.

Mom of 2 under 6. We cannot say enough good things about this camera. It has exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and what it offers our kids. We have gone on scavenger hunts to take pictures and have fun snapping shots around play time.

The best part is with friends when they print a picture to share with them, or we print a picture and write a memory on the back of the paper. The quality is excellent and it is easy to use. My daughter received another camera similar to this one from a popular tech brand and it broke after 2 months. They wouldn’t exchange it since it was past their warranty of 30 days. I decided to replace it with the Kidamento Panda instead and boy, am I glad I did! This camera is awesome! The print quality is much better than our last camera and it takes great pictures.

Kidamento also has incredible customer service and it’s a Canadian brand. My daughter takes her camera everywhere. We recommend the Panda to our friends all the time!.

Omg I am in love. I was hesitant to buy a camera considering I have a very good one on my phone but I saw this and took a gamble. Did my research and bought from a UK seller who was brilliant and answered my questions.

I had an old Polaroid as a child and was hoping that this would combine my love of hello kitty with my nostalgia of these types of cameras. The product is much bigger than I expected and certainly won’t fit in your pocket but obviously has to house 10 credit card sized films and a mechanism to push them out the top.

It’s has very simplistic operations which I love as I’m not a person who knows the finer workings of more technical cameras. Comes with 10 hello kitty films, a distance lens, a strap, batteries and some stickers so you can take it out of the box and use it straight away.

So far I have only taken one photo with the camera as I didn’t want to waste film but I love the retro soft focus on the exposure. The camera also features a small mirror for taking selfies. As well as this it also has a flat underside which means it can be stood up on a desk when not in use rather than laying it down which could cause scratching or marks.

There are many accessories that you can get separately for these cameras including shaped cases, coloured lenses, different types of film etc and so far, in my experience, the standard lenses fit onto this camera fine.

There are also loads of post printing products available specifically for the film in these cameras including frames, albums, border stickers etc so you can really go to town! All in all I really rate this product and am really happy I bought it!.

Great design, very cute with the iconic Hello Kitty Pink Bow on the corner that reads” Instax Mini Hello Kitty” and a “Hello Kitty” signature below it. Love the Pink and White exterior. Very pretty! I am not a technically minded person, but if i can use it you can use it too! All you need is some Instax Instant Mini Film that usually comes in a pack of 10 wrapped up in foil (to protected the film from light exposure) within a plastic black cartridge.

Unwrap the foil and place the black cartridge (yellow dot facing upwards) aligned with the yellow dot inside the hatch at the back, hear a “click” and you are ready to go!! Press the little White button on the left.

The first photo to pop up through the slot is just the front piece of the cartridge inside. The second one is your photo. Features include: Automatic Flash Home. Cloudy, Sunny and Hazy Day Lens settings.

The only problematic thing about this Camera is the angle of the Viewer. Its better to step a little nearer to the object rather than too far away when taking a pic because you may be left with too much space within the frame of the photo.

I point my camera downwards so that the object fills the whole frame. Or purchase some close-up Lenses. Easy!! Great for the budding photographer or the Hello Kitty fan!.

This camera is a brilliant gift for your young ones and those who are a big kid at heart like me , this camera is really easy and simple to use and you can get many different films for this beautiful camera.

I have a Fuji camera but I wanted something that I could print pictures out straight away without using a printer and inkjet and found this cute hello kitty camera it is a bit on the big size but it comes with a lovely hello kitty strap so you can take your camera with you and take lots of fun snaps.

I’ve bought a couple of other instant cameras and returned them all. But I LOVE this camera! The best feature is that you can preview your photo before you print it. I’ve wasted so much film (and money) on blurry or poorly lit photos.

This camera takes great pictures, but you can decide if you want to print or not. AND you can print multiples to give to friends and family. Another great feature is that you’re able to print photos from your phone.

So if you forget your camera you can take pictures on your phone to print later. Something else I like about this camera is that it combines the nostalgia of both 90s instant cameras and early 2000s digital cameras.

It has it all. This is my favorite instant camera.

This is the ultimate iteration of instax cameras; I have the Mini 40 and have long loved it, but the only downside is that when I take an amazing instax photo of someone, I have to decide between giving it to them or keeping it for myself.

Now I don’t have to! Being able to print multiple copies of a photo is amazing, and being able to print photos that I took with my real camera in the cute little instant format is a true delight. My only complaint with this camera is that it’s not even slightly waterproof, which is the reason I’m back on this site: my daughter accidentally dunked my liplay in the toilet, so I’m ordering a new one.

I was really excited to get this camera. I read prior reviews and watched You Tube Videos, so my expectations weren’t high as far as picture quality goes. I expected it. Sadly, it was worse than I thought.

Pics came out dark and/or blurry even with flash and steady hand, unless I had light from a lamp shining directly on the subject from inches away. Not ideal for far away shots. Group shots come out super tiny since the size of the pic is so small.

I downloaded the app and sent pics from my cell to print from the camera and they came out dark too and not true to color. Unfortunately, I returned the camera. Too expensive for the crap quality. I’m hoping they will improve the picture quality and increase the size of the actual picture.

I’ll keep an eye out!.

Purchased a MINI EVO after years of using the INSTAX MINI I got way back in 2015. I was SO EXCITED. The thought of having a digital backup of every polaroid taken was such an exciting idea to me. Well.

Purchased it, tried it, disappointed by it. I knew the digital image quality would be low, and I was fine with that. But the PRINT image quality in comparison to my old instax photos from the last 7 years.

it’s just not good. If you look closely you can see a grainy-ness that shouldn’t be there and that isn’t there in the traditional analog-style instax products. I’m really sad that this isn’t good. I hope in future years they come out with a similar product that produces high quality prints similar to the other instax cameras.

But as this one stands currently, do not recommend.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter and she likes it a lot. The problems are there really isnt great picture quality in low light but thats to be expected, and find zink printer paper can be a bear sometimes.

Especially during a pandemic. The going thing is multiple brands use the zink 2×3 as a standard so any brand will work and it is pretty cool as a scrapbooking tool for kids. Other than that it does have some cool features like a flash and it is rechargeable.

It also as an SD slot to store photos but my daughter and I havent went that far. Id probably just buy a pro camera so the picture quality would be much higher.

We ordered refurbished thinking to save a bit on cost. The item we received was damaged beyond belief. The lens cover looked like it had melted spots on it in addition to being severely scratched. The edges were scraped up and dented in.

I understand what refurbished means and have no problem buying previously used items, but this was ridiculous. Returned and went with new instead.

Looks great. Only issue was no directions on how to apply. Gurggle searches yielded not concrete results. I took a guess, it adhered well, then I didn’t’t realize to peel off the top layer until the next day.

Once applied, it looks good and holds up.

I remember when I was little I always used to play with my mom‘s Polaroid camera from like the 80s/1990s… They totally stopped making the cartridges that you could replace with the film in it or if they do still sell them it’s on like eBay or whatever so when they started making these cameras, I was reading up about them before they even came out because I love Polaroid pictures I used to have that little camera (it was like very horizontal long and kind of flat vertically but it would take a picture it out would come with the picture, a little sticker and everyone would put them on their binders at school etc.

). So when this came out I was one of the many people waiting in line to purchase one and I wanted the pink one but the blue one was just so subtle gave me a very calming feeling because it’s not blue, it’s more like a periwinkle blue but there are certain colors in which reduce stress levels and for me this camera and the one that I specifically got is one of those colors.

Plus if you buy the “Fujifilm Instax Mini’s” (The film for the camera) And instead of purchasing it at the store or on the website, if you buy it on Amazon they have a plethora of Different borders and designs on them and they’re way cheaper than they would be in stores on sale even, and usually there’s a 5% or 10% discount Applied regardless if you have subscribe and save or not but I’ve had probably five of the films for about like four years because I moved, lost the camera, and the film and just found it the other day the batteries still work which is really awesome that it did work after so many years of not being used/packed away in a box 📦 It’s so cute it’s so light, portable, and literally every time I bring it with me in a public place everyone is like oh my God is that that mini Polaroid camera?… None of them know like the official name unless they like have one but I don’t know if you could see the picture of the strap is periwinkle blue with white polkadots.

If you don’t want to bring a purse with you and just want to bring your cell phone and this camera the strap makes it look like it’s a clutch. BUT…. THE BEST PART—— is reliving the memory-INSTANTLY after the photo’s been taken keep it forever! (And you can always go back and look at the picture and remember that specific time, day, hours, minutes, seconds/millisecond that that photo was taken.

I like to read a lot so I’ve made some bookmarks with them and it’s really really fun when you’re reading a book and then all of a sudden you pull out your bookmark with the picture of your best friend and you or your dog or your family and you’re depressed or kind of down… That gives you like an instant pick me up and puts a smile on your face knowing that you’re loved.

I also have those twinkle lights that come with the mini clothes pins and you can get those in various colors but there’s 🚫room on my twinkle lights at all for any more pictures so I have to order more but they’re Super awesome.

I have had my Fujifilm Instax Mini 8+ in special ordered Tiffany Blue for almost a decade now. I grew up with Polaroid Camera’s, so when I found out Fujifilm had an extremely affordable camera similar to that of my old school Polaroid camera’s from childhood I pounced on it! It takes Fujifilm Instant Film for the Instax mini, and it prints in seconds and develops fully ina few short minutes.

There are loads of films to use with fun borders, like polka dots! Also, this camera has 5 separate settings for brightness as well; Very Sunny, Sunny, Cloudy, Indoors, and High Key! I’d DEFINITELY recommend this camera to others of all ages, it comes in so many fabulous colors, you get your pictures immediately, and it feels sentimental.

Definitely a great buy in my book.

I had wanted one of these cameras for a long time, and a few years ago my cousin said that I could have hers. I’ve always loved the look of polaroid photos and I love that you instantly get a physical copy of your photos right away.

I had an ex who destroyed the computer I had for 10 years…all of those photos videos lost from growing up, and with people who I can no longer take new photos with anymore…so physical copies of photos are important to me.

Unfortunately the film for these cameras are expensive, so I’ve stopped bothering with it. Also, all of my photos were coming out a bit blurry no matter what I had tried to fix that. But if the film were cheaper, I would absolutely continue to use this camera.

Pleased but disappointed I did not receive the color choice I picked and wanted. The camera I selected was called white. It should have the white and black camera. One choice was blue which was a white and blue camera.

Although I am not happy with the camera color I received; I will keep it because it is not easy for me to return it. I wish the person filling the order had done a better job of reading what the customer wanted.

I love these types of camera and I already own a stranger things special edition version. However. I ordered this camera June 16th 2019 and received graphite black instead of the color I wanted. I returned the camera and just today July 16th 2019.

I received another graphite black camera despite asking for the camera that I ordered which was blue and white. Like if they didn’t have anymore in that color they should have cancelled everyone’s orders for that particular cooler rather than just sending people whatever they had.

This camera is a throwback to a distant time. I remember the Polaroid camera coming out on special occasions such as birthdays and Christmas. and now I am a little older, but non the wiser, I actually am able to appreciate the value of such a nifty product.

Instant pictures to hold for a lifetime. What an amazing camera this is. Everyone should have one!.

The best part about this camera is the wide format. The camera itself seems really inconsistent deciding the right exposure. I would say I only got 4/10 photos with the right exposure. I tried adjusting the exposure, flash but it decides the exposure based on the light hitting the meter and not an overall exposure.

Nevertheless you might be surprised with the photos and start loving it. But this isn’t even my biggest complain, the worst part about the camera is the eyepiece. You’d probably need 20 tries until you understand how to frame with the totally offset eyepiece.

The camera worked well for the first 15 shots of film I took. However, I noticed the camera wasn’t working (nothing happened when I pressed the shutter button) and checked the batteries to see if there was a problem.

The batteries were incredibly hot, and there was a distinctive burning smell coming from the camera. I was scared that a potential electrical fire would start, so I took out the batteries and stopped using it.

Maybe mine was a defective model, but this was a total waste of money.

I just got my Lomo Instant camera, the adventure challenge. I used it for the very first time, it took 8 good pictures then stoped working. All the pictures all came out pitch black and I wasted 2 film cartages.

Polaroid Originals cameras are fun. Theres no denying that. But I found gripes with the camera ultimately put me off using it, and, eventually I ended up selling it. The cost of film is expensive, very expensive.

14. 99 for a pack in most retailers. You can use the 600 type film in the I type cameras as well which is a nice touch. But youll be paying more for that a lot of the time. The exposure meter is good, youll get an semi even result each time, but it is solely dependent on what lighting conditions you have.

The film is often unpredictable and sometimes temperamental. Be aware you may not get a perfect result. The build quality is good enough, nothing to really complain about. And the battery is rechargeable- also a plus! View finder is a bit off, so be aware of that when youre framing your images, but the same can be said about the Fuji counterparts.

The images do fade when left in sun for too long. And they also take ages to develop. Little tip to be aware, the longer you leave it in the dark and dont shake, the better the picture. Hope this helps someone!.

First, just the look of it, and it is so easy to take photos, love the size of the camera, not too small, not to large, and the features of it plus it has a automatic cleaner for the rollers when you require to clean the rollers after taking some 200 photos , but over all the price for this older model which I bought brand new in the box, it was good value for it is rare to find a brand new model of this Polaroid one step2 viewfinder i-type retro.

It took me some time to find this beautiful camera, never expected to find a brand new. Camera, I bought it right away, and I am glad I did.

In this age of digital photography, where every phone has a lens, the Onestep 2 brings you back to analogue days in an instant. The camera is an exact replica of the original Polaroid cameras from the 70s with the exception that it’s rechargeable and lightweight.

The pictures it takes are very much authentic too. If you’re expecting some kind of miraculous perfection, this isn’t the camera for you. What you get is the kind of faded, stark exposure that no amount of filtering will ever fully achieve.

But this is what makes the camera so unique. The only issue with this camera is the subsequent cost of the film so you need to be aware that it doesn’t come with any film, and a single pack of 8 photos is going to set you back at least 15 or so.

All the same, a wonderful re-invention of something that Polaroid themselves probably thought was destined for the bin a few years ago.

I recently wanted to get a camera that can eject physical copies of photos to make an album book so I looked into cameras and I found Polaroids, I bought this in my local target and the camera itself is a great deal for the price.

The film is pretty expensive, 8 photos for $19. 99 but the quality of the photos are beautiful once the photo develops in about 15 minutes. Also, this camera can be used with the Polaroid app so you can set the camera down and either take your photo with your phone or have a noise trigger(CHEEESE!).

Highly recommend, makes a great gift!.

Didn’t turn on. Tried all the trouble shooting. Kodak won’t replace it because I purchased it on clearance. I have a disapointed child.

Specs are mentioned in other reviews at great length and on the spec tab of the product itself, so I’m going to avoid repeating all that stuff. I am, however, going to jump immediately into my only grip with the Polaroid Now+.

consistent quality. One photo to the next you are going to achieve very different results even though no variables seem to change. You can adjust nothing on the camera while also not allowing much time in your environment to go by which would account for lighting or subject alterations, yet you will have one photo turn out amazing and the next 3 or 4 not turn out at all.

As in, they might be blurry, poor lighting, or simply BLACK. But, I’m pretty sure that’s how polaroid’s worked back in the day when they were all the rage, so maybe it’s a pro. depends on how you look at it.

Do you want an authentic nostalgia trip? Or merely the appearance of one with all the perks of modern technology? Possibly with some more time messing with the settings (and throwing more money at film to test said settings) you can really nail down what needs to be done and when, but you are certainly going to burn through some film, which is not cheap.

Aside from that, it is a great little device when it does work. Our daughter loves not just the look of it, but the analog process of it all as she has commented numerous times about how refreshing it is to not just have a photo of her friends, but to actually HAVE a photo (right then and there) of her and her friends to put on the wall or hand to someone.

That right there is what this is really all about, so if you can tolerate the cost of film and the trial/error of getting a “good” photo I think you will really enjoy/appreciate the Polaroid Now+. Just don’t expect stellar results each and every time you snap a shot.

I’m still giving it the recommendation because it is a fun device and a great bit of quality for what it is, it doesn’t feel cheap or look bad at all. You can leave it out as a bookend or conversation piece when not being used, it doesn’t have to go into hiding and get forgotten about.

I realize that is a very superficial use, but it is definitely something Polaroid took into consideration when designing it, so why not lean into that a little bit?.

I have already been a fan of instant cameras for a few years and I even bought the polaroid original onestep+ analog instant film camera but after seeing the new eye catching polaroids (white color was irresistible) I decided it was time for an upgrade.

The new Polaroid Now+ i-type instant camera offers much more than the regular polaroids. The first feature that drew my attention was that it includes a lens filter kit. There are 5 lenses total with the colors starburst, red vignette, orange, yellow, and blue.

They easily snap on to the camera lens and give my polaroids a new whole new look! The new and improved features of this camera include autofocus, accurate flash, tripod mount, 15-pack battery life, and the camera is adaptable enough that it works with both i-type film and 600 film.

The most popular feature of this polaroid is that it’s made to work with the polaroid app. The app changes the way polaroids are taken which complement the lens kit. The app is not needed to take and pictures, but I highly encourage it.

The way the app is set up is very simple. It has different settings like manual mode, double exposure, light painting, and self-timer. A cool feature that the app provides is that you can change the setting of the flash for a better picture! If it’s darker environment I can just make the flash setting higher or I can easily make it lower or turn it off in a bright setting.

People who are more familiar with camera settings or work with cameras professionally will love manual mode. Manual mode allows you to change the aperture and shutter settings for a more captivating photo! Overall, this camera is great for anyone wanting a “point and shot” right out if the box, with good quality picture and willing to have great polaroid collection or at least physical pictures, which is something missing nowadays, so this camera is definitely worth the investment.

I was really excited to try this Polaroid Now+ camera because I thought Polaroid cameras were just the coolest thing back in the 90’s. I must say after my initial use, I am a bit disappointed. The camera has a similar feel to what they were like in the 90’s but a bit more compressed in size, with a more modern body.

I thought the lens filter kit was a cool add-on feature, but after trying each of them out, I would not recommend using them. The camera itself still takes the same quality level of photos as it did in the 90’s –thus no filter needed for a vintage effect.

Also, most of the lenses made the photos too discolored to make out the image very well. (I tried them in both indoor and outdoor lighting. ) The camera only holds 8 photos at a time, which means if you plan on taking a bunch of photos, you will need to carry around numerous film packs.

The empty canister is still a bit of a wasteful item too – not recyclable. Using the camera in a very selective manner is best, as it was back in the day as well. The app is a nice modern add-on feature, especially if using it to remotely take photos.

I had a bit of trouble getting the camera to connect initially, but after a few tries it did and then it worked without any problems. My main annoyance with the app is that it can sense whether you have good lighting for a photo, but it doesn’t show you the active image on the app.

This would help tremendously with testing the app features and figuring out how the lenses look for photos without wasting film, and seems like something that could have been easily included but wasn’t.

Overall, I did have fun testing out this camera and it did bring back some fun childhood memories. Yet, with the cost of film packs still being pricey, it’s hard to justify using this camera on a frequent basis.

Definitely a fun gift or purchase for a camera enthusiast or amateur photographer / artist.

I absolutely love this camera!! It’s a huge upgrade than the Polaroid cameras we had in the 90s 😂 I purchased for my daughter for her birthday but also because I was interested in seeing how they perform nowadays and I gotta say it’s ALOT better for sure! The picture quality is way better just as if you were using a higher quality digital camera only this you can print instantly without fuzzy pictures! It’s definitely worth it and I’d definitely recommend if you have pre-teen/teenage children!!.

Ok so I really wanted to love this but there was a lot of deal breakers for me. The most important was quality and 1/5 pictures turned out ok. It prints horrible quality photos, the photos are small, the paper is not cheap.

Now what I did like about it was being able to snap a picture and instantly print it like the old polaroids. The difference between the old Polaroid and this was being able to decide if you wanted to print.

Editing your photos and having filters, frames, and collage options which was a great idea. Also being able to connect to your social media accounts and print pictures on Instagram and Facebook was awesome.

If they could just fix the quality problem this would be perfect seriously. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the papers are also stickers you can peel the back off and Tata it’s now a sticker. Really neat ideas they just need to work on it and improve it is all.

Pros: Prints very quickly, surprisingly good images. The filters you can use are cool and it connects through Bluetooth to my phone where I have the Polaroid app. Easy enough to use! Gorgeous colour and is very light weight.

Lens cap is magnetic and stays on well protecting the camera. Easy to refil with Zink paper. Has a tripod attachment. Cons: Battery isn’t great, but not awful, can only hold 15 photos so you defiantly need a storage card in there for storage.

( it holds up to 128gb) Lens cap can be easily lost.
