20 Best Insoles For Redwing Boots (2023 Updated)

My son only wears Ariat Quickdraw boots. The inserts in his previous pair were worn and falling apart, causing lots of angst every time we would leave the house. I purchased these as a replacement, to hold us over until he needed the next size boots.

He was reluctant at first for the change, but we slipped them in and I never heard about the inserts again. Until this week. He finally needed new boots, and thankfully our local Western store had his new size and color in stock.

On the drive home he asked for his old boots, so he could put these inserts in his new boots. So I am back buying the next size up for his new boots! (And thinking perhaps I need some for my boots, too!).

I first experienced Ariat ATS footbeds in a pair of Ariat lace-ups; then I bought a pair of Ariat work boots that had them in them. I wore the footbeds in my lace-ups and had to order them through a local Western Boot store for around $34.

00 plus tax. I stole the ones from my worn our Ariat work boots and wear them in my 511 Tactical boots. The pair I just ordered will replace those. I have problems with my feet, bursitis & tendonitis, due to working too many hours on my feet in a job that was very hard on them.

I need firm support and their old insoles worked perfectly for me, not so much for these new ones. Right now I’m pretty disappointed in them as they’re causing me problems with my left foot. They are thicker than the old ones, making my shoes fit tighter and cupped more.

The dis-similar materials on the bottom of them may be the culprit. I’ll update this review after I figure out what’s going on.

These boot inserts were the right solution for a pair of slightly too large boots. I have not worn them out yet, but it made a world of difference in the comfort of just putting them on to have these in them.

As additional info, I found out about them because they were selling them at the boot store where I got the boots. They didn’t have the right size so I ordered from here. Note that I was advised to order one half size Smaller in the cushion than the boot size you are wearing.

(I had a size 9 boot and ordered a size 8. 5 footbed). That worked well. Also when inserting them, I struggled a little bit until I realized the trick is to put them in sideways, then position as far as possible up at the toe then push them down.

I didnt rate them a 5 since I didn’t think they were all that cushy, and I haven’t yet tried them out on the street. I will come back if any issues and let you know.

I got these to help solve a common problem with many of my shoes which is that I cant tie the laces tight enough to press down on the top of my foot. i thought raising the footbed would help. It’s helped before with other insoles in other shoes, but it didnt help me with my doc marten oxfords.

the heel of these insoles is significantly higher than the rest of the footbed and those heel cups raised my heel way too much, to the point where the back of my foot was so high that my shoes became slip on sandals.

I know that heel cup is supposed to break in and my heel will sink into it, but my heels are actually already a little too high in my oxfords. the way the footbeds are constructed, even after breaking them in, the heel will still be raised at least slightly.

i think these would work very well for boots but not for the doc martens oxfords, at least for me. I tried the other available doc marten footbed insoles, and I had the same issue.

I loved the look and quality of these work boots. They are fashionable and durable. They are a little stiff and take a few days to break in and they are pretty heavy so I don’t recommend you wear them to work the first few times you wear them.

Break them in at home around the house and get your legs used to lifting them all day before you jump in to a 12 hr shift. The insoles do help with the comfort for those long hours in a factory on concrete.

They are amazing, comfort wise, they hit all the right pressure points on my feet; I have higher arches that can cause problems in flatter shoes, aka my Doc boots. I took OUT the original insole I got in the boots (because my boots are a perfect size 6 in women’s) and the insoles I ordered were a size 6 in women’s.

that being said, MY ONLY CON FROM THESE INSOLES was that they were still weirdly oversized. It causes a weird lipping on the inside where it curves over the toe part of my boot or under itself, and no matter how many times I realign the insole in the boot (and trust me, they match up), it still has extra toe fabric.

I could cut the insole but I don’t want to compromise any of the padding so I sort of deal with it, even noticing it irritates my toes after a while.

Great fit just like new again, bought the boots wore out the original, tried wolverine, and other before getting these on line . wish i woulda in the first place

I bought this to go with my Ariat wide square toe Sport Rafter boots. Perfect fit for an insole. I feel like I’m walking on air

Perfect fit and it makes them more comfortable. I wish they lasted a little bit longer, but they’re way better so I’ll keep buying them.

I have bought Superfeet Orange insoles a few times to use in work boots and they are fantastic. I do a lot of walking at work 5 days a week and these insoles give great support to the heel and instep and last me over a year of heavy use.

I would recommend them to anyone who gets sore feet at work! The different colours of insole are different shapes – orange are high arch ones – so check what you need before you buy. I used the “Insole Finder” on the Superfeet website and it was right first time.

I was impressed with the speed and quality of service from shoe insoles and would buy from them again.

While buying a pair of insoles for myself, I also bought these for my husband who is having a bout of plantar fasciitis. He needed more cush at the heel and a little less arch support (he has nearly flat arches), but some metatarsal support, so they did not work.

We’ll be checking out the other styles for a replacement. My hub has always had a problem finding shoes for his size 14, narrow feet, and he was very happy these were on target size-wise. These insoles are very well made and since he already buys shoes with a deep toe box, the full-length insole fit well.

As an athlete in college I developed turf toe and in addition I would compensate and end up with terrible foot pain after training. My athletic trainer suggest I get these inserts. I’ve been using them for 8yrs now.

They are solid on the bottom to help me maintain my high arches and not have any foot pain after working out. The cost is about $45-50 depending on tax or shipping. They have a lot of great products and you can get sized up for the appropriate Superfeet supports typically at any shoe store for runners.

They have supports for all foot types and they are worth the investment every 3-6months.

The insoles fit perfectly without the need to trim. Inserted them in boots and athletic shoes and they were comfortable enough to wear all day. Very good price and a quality product.

I have been wearing orthotics due to suffering from a Morton’s neuroma for 25 years. My arches are high. These are the best I’ve seen in a store bought orthotic.

Great insoles!! I also own Sole inserts and these are as good if not better for a third of the price. The instructions for fitting them to your feet are similar to Sole. They work wonders for treating and preventing plantar fasciitis.

They are great and super comfortable I won’t get a new pair of boots without them. But like stated before they do fall apart. For me only the top layer came apart in the entire 2. 6 years and still feel as comfortable as the first day so like I said I will always buy these!.

I’m a nurse and I have a pair of red wing Iron rangers. I wear them every day and I work 12 hour shifts. I must say I love the boots but there wasn’t enough padding for me. I bought these insoles and they have made it so my feet don’t hurt anymore after a shift.

However, my only complaint is that they will stain your socks with a brown color on the bottom after a few hours of wearing them. It washes out for the most part, but its a little annoying. I’d still recommend these, just either wear darker socks or be o.

These are an essential element to the Red Wing experience. Without these insoles your feet tend to slide around in the boot. Once these are fitted they stop the sliding and enhance the feel of your feet in the boot.

I tried these on in Red Wing store after owning multiple pairs of Moc Toe boots and I can’t believe the difference they make. I bought 4 more pairs for my other boots to save myself the hassle of changing them between boots.

My podiatrist recommended these to help to alleviate severe pain and tenderness in the big toe–joint forward of the ball of my foot as an alternative to surgery. I trimmed them to fit even though I’m wearing a half-size larger shoe than I used to and all my shoes have wide toe boxes.

They gave me the bend I needed to begin reshaping my foot and helped to reduce my painfully swollen toes within a few days of wearing them–hoping they’ll get even better as I break them in. Note: I have flat feet and the added arch support helped, too, but the insert reduced the wiggle room in the toe box area and my heels aren’t fitting as snug as without them–some noticeable slipping in the heel.

I wear zero-drop shoes with a low stack height so my feet are riding higher off the ground but the trade-off is worth it. Although my shoes are no longer as flat to the ground as before, I am still able to do tai chi without any problems, and walking, running, and cross-training have become more comfortable.

It’s early days, I have only had the inserts for a week, but have had Planta Facua for 2 years, I have tried everything to gain relief from pay £300 to go private and have some guy batter my heels with a small vibrating hammer to doing stretching each morning.

My feet pain can go as high as 9/10 and in my job as a self employed window cleaner this is not good. However the week that I have had these inserts my feet pain hasn’t got over 5, some days down as low as 4.

Like I said it’s early days. There is a 60 day garentee so I’m going to see how they go for the next 2 months. Hopefully they continue to improve my heel pain. I will write another review in due course.

If you have flat feet and a narrow shoe, this are the insoles for you! I have been wearing them for 6 years now and replace them every 6 months or so. They have changed my life. I was bit by a dog on my knee when I was about 20 years old, and without wearing these insoles I will have constant inflammation on that knee.

By wearing them, it straightens out everything and the inflammation is not longer a factor at all. Total game changer. Truly amazing how given the right arch support for your feet can change everything about how you function physically.

I added these insoles to a couple of pairs of casual boots that were a different brand due to foot and leg fatigue throughout the work day. I typically wear Timberland Pro work boots for work and I’ve been extremely satisfied with these products and don’t have the fatigue at the end of the day so I bought these for my casual boots to improve their comfort.

Big difference once I put these in! The existing insoles were paper thin and wore out very fast. These insoles are extremely more comfortable and I don’t get the fatigue throughout the day. They definitely run big! I am 6′ and 175 lbs.

, I wear a 9 1/2 boot. I bought the 8-9 Mediums from what I learned from other reviews and I cut off maybe a 1/4″ for a perfect fit. Very satisfied as usual.

I have worked as an industrial electrician for 15years and in construction management for the last 5. I have went through several different boot brands and even more insoles trying to find the magic combination so that my feet were not killing me after my 10 to 14 hour day of work.

I found these insoles about 12 years ago in a boot store in GA and I have not bought a different type since. It does not matter if I am on my feet for 14 hours straight, my feet, knees and lower back are not hurting or fatigued.

Ive had several pairs of these. After a couple of years of severe plantar fasciitis, 4 cortisone shots, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory patches, etc. , my podiatrist recommended these. I play tennis all the time too.

Once I started playing with these in my tennis shoes my pain finally went away. These are not soft or cushiony, they are stiff and firm, but they work wonders. They are very durable. I replace mine about once a year.

Excellent product. My podiatrist recommended these orthotics with the hope that I wouldn’t have to purchase custom orthotics. They have worked very well. I have inserted them in several pairs of shoes and I have very pleased – my foot doesn’t hurt as long as I wear shoes with the orthotic inserts.

Overall, the Fatigue Fighter Footbed (FFF) exceeded my expectations. The FFF was easily cut with scissors to my size using the package instructions. The FFF was thicker than the original equipment insole that it replaced.

The FFF heel support has proven especially welcome. Since using the FFF long hikes have been less likely to cause pain in my aged feet.

They are comfortable but they made my Danners too tight. I could not judge that until I trimmed the insoles and got them in the boots. I used them in my muck boots instead so it wasn’t a waste. Wish Danner boots just came with the good insoles! The ones provided are pretty flimsy.

The fatigue fighter footbed was a major improvement but the soles of my boots are broken down to the shape of my feet. I’m sure the insoles will get me some more miles out of my boots until I find another pair I like.

Wish you would bring back the Highground boots because I can’t stand the stiff soles you put on your boots now.

After a lifetime of hiking, backpacking,snowshoeing, and other high-impact activities, I have constant, excruciating forefoot and hip pain. I have an entire drawer full of insoles, cushions, and foot pads.

On whim, I purchased the AMP insoles – I noticed they were more cushioned in the forefoot/ball-of-foot area than anything else that I owned. I put them in my hiking boots and went on a 3-day backpack with a 42-lb pack.

I expected to have to turn back due to pain. Miraculously, no pain! I could not believe it. When I returned home, I used them again on a 6 mile walk over rocks and hills that normally has me in pain the rest of the day.

No pain. It’s seems dramatic, but they really are life-changing for me. I’ve since bought 2 more pairs. Thank you Georgia Boot! (BTW – I am a woman. Women need insoles and cushioning, too. The men’s M fits my boots/shoes).

I bought a pair several years ago. I’ve worked several different jobs that are tough on the feet. I work about 10+ hours a day, 5-6 days a week. I also have lower back nerve damage and worn out knees.

These are the only insoles that have completely eliminated the pain from strain on my body. They are like walking on clouds and make me want to work several hours longer. Although I wore them out and they had some holes, I’ve worn the same pair insoles for 4 years in the same boot and beat the heck out of them, yet they are still as comfortable and effective as Day 1.

So comfortable that I prefer to wear my steel toe boots even when not at work rather than any other shoe. As long as these are manufactured, I will never buy any other insole.

Bought these to replace some inferior insoles that came in another boot. They’re very thick and absorb impact like nothing. I found that the thickness is so substantial that it could make the boots almost a little too snug in the toe box again but they will stretch out with time.

I have high arches and need to augment the insole in almost every shoe I wear. I own several varieties of SuperFeet insoles, as well as custom orthotics, that I switch around between shoes/boots. The only pair of shoes in which I DON’T need to replace the insole are my Oboz Bridgers as they have been perfectly comfortable and supportive out of the box with the factory insole.

Based on this positive experience with my Oboz boots, when I saw these O Fit insoles I decided to give them a try. I now own multiple pair, and these O Fit insoles are easily the best insoles I own. I don’t even use the SuperFeet or custom orthotics any more as the O Fit insoles have made the others, including the custom orthotics, obsolete.

Super comfortable with the right amount of footbed padding and just the right amount of support for my arch issues. Your fit and results may vary, but if you struggle with high arch support issues you should consider giving these a try.

I loved my Oboz boots, but lately my feet have been hurting after only moderate hikes. I was contemplating getting new boots, even though the boot and tread are in great condition. I ordered a new pair of boots and these inserts, just to compare.

Wowzers, my old inserts were like pancakes when I pulled them out of my boots! I’m notoriously tough on shoes and tend to walk heavy, so this shouldn’t have been a surprise. But when I slipped in the new inserts, it’s like I had brand-new boots! I’ll be returning the expensive pair of new boots and am looking forward to hiking again with my renewed favorites.

I’m thrilled that I can refresh my boots every few hundred miles instead of buying new ones all the time bc I’m such a clomper. Couldn’t be happier with these. I wear a size 10 usually, and my Oboz sawtooth boots are a 10.

5. I got a size medium based on the size chart and it fit like a glove without any kind of trimming or modification.

While planning my first backpack/hike I had concerns about my feet so I bought these hoping that they would help reduce any discomfort. I found them to be very comfortable. I’m using them in a pair of Keen Ridge Flex hiking shoes and they cradle my feet nicely.

They are superior to the inserts that came with the Keens having more material and are of better build quality. Of course for the price – they absolutely should! My hiking was done on a trail with lots of rocks the size of baseballs and golfballs with hard, sharp edges.

These insoles along with a great pair of hiking shoes kept my feet fresh until about 8 miles at which point I could start feeling the pressure from the rocks through my shoes. That’s not a reflection on the shoes or insoles but just how my feet respond at that point in a long hike on that type of terrain.

Size ‘L’ was spot on for my 10. 5 (wide) shoes and did not require any cutting or modification. The only negative so far has been the price. They are not the most expensive insoles but they are far from the cheapest.

So far the price has been worth the money that I paid for them.

Haven’t used them yet, but if they are the same as the original’s in the shoes I bought two months ago, I’d say this. They are very comfortable, but if you don’t wear socks, they get dirty real quick.

And if you don’t clean the shoes and continue to wear enough to allow dirt to get in the shoes, on the pads, in hot summer weather … a sheen will build up, sort of like a patina. I have never really had that happen on deck shoes of other brands, which is why I bought replacement insoles … after 2 months.

It would be good to know if there is a safe way to clean the insoles. According to the site, you can’t. So while I love the style, fit and comfort levels … these are not shoes to own if you aren’t willing to buy new insoles every year.

I have shoes that are up to 10 years old and still in good enough condition to wear. These will not last that long.

Amazing product!!! Place the Insoles in the shoes and they felt like brand new shoes! I love my dudes I Have bought at least a dozen pair ranging from flip-flops to boots with the fur. I bought kid sizes, I bought shoes for my dude, and numerous shoes for myself, I even gifted a pair for Christmas!!! Dude shoes are absolutely be most comfortable shoes out there! I definitely have happy feet when they are in my dudes! The comfort level is outstanding!.

I never received these because they said they were out of stock after I already purchased them off the website and it NEVER said it was out of stock. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE! I also never received a pair of leopard dudes that NEVER said they were out of stock but magically they were 2 weeks after I purchased them.

This is the first time I’ve ever had issues with heydudes and it’s a big one. Till y’all make better styles for women and more options I will not be purchasing. Why do men get more options. Women there are knock off heydudes that are just as great and they have patterns like cow print etc.

I usually use other insoles, but those are so thick so I cannot use them with all the shoes. I then I bought these. It has been hard to find insoles that are thin , comfortable and work. I am 6 ft 1.

5″ tall and I have had 8 major back surgeries, 9 hours each since 2000. I take them from shoe to shoe. I am going to get multiple pairs for all my daily shoes! I can really feel the comfort and cushion that goes back and forth.

They were recommended by my orthopedic spinal surgeon because he uses these during his surgeries. These help to balance my feet and they have been so helpful in walking farther distances. They are very comfortable to wear all day long and everyday.

I have been wearing these for a little over 3 years and these have been a lifesaver!.

I usually do not write reviews. I am a nurse and I am on my feet for sometimes 16 hours a day. These are the best insoles for people who are on their feet all day. They are like walking on a cloud. I just bought my second pair as they only last three to six months, but they are worth every penny. Feet that do not hurt means your body does not hurt. Great product I cannot say enough about all their products.

So good, I wrote my first review ever.

Rarely do I find a product that really does what it claims, but this is definitely one of the few that actually does what it claims. My son is an avid sports addict , but sometimes finds that running and a number of other high impact exercises, cause him pain in his leg.

He has been using Dr. Scholl’s&® Athletic Series Sport Insoles for approximately two weeks and there has been such an amazing change for him. No longer is he complaining about leg pain after running and his feet are also not sore( which makes him and I so happy).

When I received the product I cut the insole to his size (there is a guided line for this), removed the original insole from his shoes and replaced it with these and he was good to go. Absolutely great product, extremely simple to insert and not too thick so it did not effect the fit of his shoe.

I cannot stress enough how simple and easy it is to use these inserts (other products I have tried have been irritating and fiddly). I definitely recommend Dr. Scholl’s&® Athletic Series Sport Insoles, for anyone who is looking for relief and also comfort when participating in high impact sport.

I have tried several different insoles. This is my first time trying the massaging gel. The older I get the more healthy I am trying to become. I took on running and just doing a lot of outdoor activities with my kids.

I was starting to have some knee issues and my feet were really sore so I was hoping the massaging gel insoles would help. I wasnt disappointed at all. I could definitely feel a difference from wearing these to any other insoles I have worn in the past.

The first thing I noticed is they are very comfortable. It was really easy to trim them to my shoe size. These insoles provided support to areas of my feet I didnt realize was lacking support. It was a noticeable difference.

These insoles allowed me to spend more time outdoors. I havent had any more knee issues or sore feet since wearing these. I also noticed my back isnt sore. I used to have a little ache that I never put two and two together until I realized my back wasnt sore after my run.

I used to wear compression socks when I ran. Just because I like a tight feeling when I am running. But with these insoles I dont have to as they make your shoes a little snug which I truly like. I will definitely recommend these.

I feel pain on both of my feet especially with so much walking. My podiatrist advised for a therapy and to wear some sort of orthotic shoes. But since I can’t find a style that I like, I decided to try Dr.

Scholl’s sport insoles. My only form of work out right now is brisk walking and a little bit of jogging if my feet doesn’t ache. These insoles helped a lot in decreasing the pain on both my feet. It feels very comfortable and it protects my feet, knees and lower back from impact of shock when I move.

They are not readily available at drugstores or supermarkets. I’ve never seen them go on sale, but they can be purchased at medical supply stores and some smaller owner-operated pharmacies. Occasionally I’ve seen them sold in sporting goods stores and at shoe stores (most recently, at Lady Foot Locker).

When ordering online, be sure to order the men’s shoe size that corresponds with your correct size. The Spenco soles are unisex, but in my experience they are not truly universal, in that they will only fit in women’s sneakers.

They will not fit in most ladies’ dress shoes. The rigid quality of these soles make them unsuitable for high heels. They are molded, so they cannot be cut to size. Spenco soles are more expensive than Dr.

Scholl’s, but their quality is superior and they last quite a while. My only complaint, really is that for a product that touts itself as an “arch support”, the support that it gives to the arches does not hold up well, at all.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this but thought I would try it. Its nice. As recommended, I sized up the shoes a full size. They fit but there was a little play in them until I put the insole in. Now they fit perfectly.

Its very comfortable. You could put another insert on top of it if you needed arch support or whatever else. The shoes are perfect for travel. They are compact, light and nice looking. The fabric looks extremely durable but is soft to the touch.

I really like my Rothy’s shoes. My first pair purchased at least a year ago, have been washed twice. I was sure I had ruined them. I ordered another pair. They survived the washing really well. The insoles work great.

I have narrow feet. I put one insole in one shoe & two in the other. I was disappointed printed insoles were not available. I love my leopard print ones.

I previously tried a pair of SOLE footbeds (not sure what kind) in a pair of ski boots and unfortunately, they were SO firm and hurt my feet so badly! My partner had recommended the brand because he swears by them for arch support.

I assumed the ones he uses were firm as well, so I had this idea in my head that all of their footbeds were just hard and firm and not for me. But, one day I saw an ad on Facebook for SOLE sandals that prompted me to look around on the website and I soon realized this was not the case at all! So, I bought these ones on a whim because they were on such a good sale.

I put them in a pair of Bogs winter boots that I wear every single day for everything from going to work to dog walks to shoveling snow, and I’ve got to say. I’m very impressed with how cushy and comfortable they feel! I also never realized the benefits of having a MET pad, and I really like the feel of it.

The only issue I have so far is that I find they seem to always be a bit damp in my boots. Of course, Bogs aren’t exactly a breathable boot so this plays a HUGE factor in that, but I’m constantly having to take them out to dry.

I honestly thought they’d perform a bit better in this area. (The footbeds that came with my boots never seemed to feel as damp all the time. ) Also, the size 5 is just a bit too small for my size 5-5.

5 feet (size 6 wasn’t available) so my toes do stick out over the front just the tiniest bit. But it’s enough that I can feel the edge of the footbed if I don’t have them placed just right in my boots.

This is NOT a fault with the product. just disappointed they aren’t available in a 6!.

I’m on my 3rd pair of SOLE Active Wides & they’re definitely the best insoles I’ve come across. I run 30 miles a week, mostly on the road, at paces from 5:30-8:30/mile. I wear Altras for both road & trail, and I use one pair of these insoles for every 2 pairs of shoes.

The Good: A problem I’ve always had with running footwear is compression in the ball of the foot leading to weirdness in my stride or lots of discomfort over time. These insoles are so dense that the above compression isn’t an issue.

I’m putting 400-500 miles on each pair of shoes (800-1000 miles per pair of insoles) now without any stride-altering compression in either the shoe midsole or the insole itself. I’m considering using them for a 3rd pair of shoes actually, because after 1000 miles the biggest sign of wear is discoloration where my foot contacts the insole, rather than deterioration of the insole itself.

The Bad: They’re really hard. If you like a cushy running shoe experience this is NOT that. But if you’re looking for a great springboard to push off of mile after mile after mile, these are your insoles.

10/10 would recommend.

I’ve gone through several pairs of these custom insoles. In all the previous times, I was able to go into a store and do the molding thing. This included a plane flight to get to a store. Wasn’t going to happen this time, so since I got my imprints recorded, I used that record to get a new set made.

I was disappointed when they arrived. The heel and arch portion matched an existing pair, but the forefoot was virtually flat. I contacted customer support with photos comparing the two sets. Turns out, there’s a part of support specifically for these insoles.

The support person, Christian, was quick to acknowledge the problem and had another pair made, which was much better. Outstanding. A word of advice. If you decide to go this route, make sure you give the set that go into record a good look because there will be variety across fittings.

I looking over the multiple pairs I had, there were even two different sizes. Needless to say, given I’ve bought multiple pairs, these are worth it. I run each set up to 1,000 miles before replacing.

This latest pair, maybe because they’re new, have so much more cushioning. I’ve got them in Hokas, so it’s a real cushy ride.

I have a relatively flat foot and very slight pronation. I’ve always felt most comfortable in neutral, high cushion shoes. I run 3-5 times per week at a 9 min/mile pace. (average between 60-100 miles per month).

I’m 50 and about 10 lbs over my ideal weight, but still in good shape with a VO2 of 45. When I was younger I ran 19min 5k and 41min 10k and no hip, knee or foot issues whatsoever. I bought these insoles after a running evaluation at the Road Runner store.

I was told what I already knew: I have flat feet and slight pronation. After being fitted with the insoles, I put them in a new pair of Hokka Arahi 4 shoes. I started developing a hip joint issue, and then pain on the top of my foot.

I ended up going to physical therapy and learned that the issue resided in my feet, causing the hip/joint issues. My trainer said the insoles were causing 75% of the problem and would make things worse over time.

They were not simply supporting my natural gait and pronation, but over-correcting causing my body to fight against this unnatural adjustment. After 3 months of pain and frustration, I removed the R-Gear Custom Insoles and slipped on an old pair of Hokka Clifton 7.

PROBLEM SOLVED. Moral of the story: don’t fix what ain’t broke, even if you’re told you need something new.

This is my 2nd pair. I knew the the first pair played a big part in my plantar fasciitis relief. I found an almost new pair of running shoes in the back of the closet that I previously purchased hoping they would my plantar fasciitis.

I tried running in them, but began to feel the familiar pain on the bottom of my left foot. After putting the customs insoles in the shoes, these are now my new favorite pair of running shoes. These insoles were the key for me, hopefully the will be for you.
