I’ve spent a lot of money on insoles over the years. I broke my left ankle when I was 18 then my arch fell in my forties. I’ve tried so many different kinds of arch supports. Either they are too hard or too soft or the support is too far back or doesn’t go under the arch far enough.
Finally, I discovered OFG Women’s Orthotic Insoles and they are just right! I do buy half a size larger insoles which seems to give me the best support. In Orthofeet shoes I wear size 9M but I swap them out for 9.

I wear a size 9. 5 wide men’s shoe. I ordered 9. 5 -11 men’s size. I carefully opened the package which was new and unopened. They are wide enough but short. Size 10 was visible and they were slightly longer than “10”.

I have purchased many Orthaheel sandals and 1 pair of running shoes and have not worn anything else since as they are the perfect support I need for my feet which would have to get major surgeries that I do not want.
The only suggestion I would make to the Orthaheel company is that the piece between our big toe and the rest of the toes should have a way to reduced the height of that piece. At first my feet required that height, but now it is too loose so I try and sew it with less height.

I have chronic pain in my feet. The pain is not in my toes, heels, arches, or bottoms of my feet. It is mainly in the remaining area, deep within the upper part of the foot. After wearing one pair of full length inserts, the pain has subsided, and for the first time in years, my feet almost feel normal again.
So I decided to order the set of 2 full and 3/4 length inserts, believing the 3/4 length would be exactly the same as the full length except the length would be 3/4 as long. I thought that having the 3/4 insert would save me having to trim the toe end of a full insert to fit one pair of shoes I have.
I am deeply disappointed to learn that the outer side, (opposite the inner arch support) of the 3/4 inserts do not provide the same length of alignment support measuring from middle of the back of heel to end of alignment support ridge (only 3 1/2 in compared to 6 inches on the full length), and the width of the 3/4 inserts is not the same.
leaving a 1/2 inch gap that allows the insert to move sideways providing an unstable fit along the outer edge of the back 4 inches. I am wondering if the 3/4 insert is a factory second? Or is this the intended design.
I am willing to try the 3/4 insert because there is a 30 day guarantee, but I doubt if I will be able to tolerate wearing the 3/4 insert. I believe that the description of the 3/4 length insert should have warned about the other differences between the two kinds of inserts.

I had plantar fasciitis in my right foot. The pain was so intense that I could just barely walk and even then I had to walk on my heel. I had it for 2 or 3 months when I found out about these Dr Scholls Orthotic inserts.
I was able to find a retailer that sold them and the store had a “scanner” that I stood on while it made all types of measurements and then it recommended that I use the 440. I bought a pair and immediately put them in the shoes that I was wearing at the moment.
It only took a minute or so to install them into the shoes. The relief was pretty much instantaneous. Within 20 minutes, practically all pain was gone and I was able to walk normally without pain.
