20 Best Insoles For Cycling Shoes (2023 Updated)

Bought these for my first 100 mile ride. Wore them for a month before. Very comfortable and great pedaling improvement. Highly recommend

Having done custom Ski Boot, and Cycling shoe fitting for many years I am very pleased with the Currex Bike Pro Insoles!

I have not yet worn them while cycling however the insoles feel very comfortable and fit well inside my shoes.

Best insole ever to reduce vibration – to increase comfort – to have the arch at the write place.

( Aber er hatte bis dato keine Erfahrungen mit den Radschuheinlagen). Auch er bekommt von mir ein Feedbag und die Empfehlung Ihre Sohlen bei Nachfrage anzupreisen. Da ich am rechten Schuh eine 4mm Außenranderhöhung tragen muss, war ich skeptisch ob Ihre Sohle die richtige ist , aber ich war neugierig und hatte 30 Tage Rückgaberecht, trotz zuschneiden der Sohle.

Die Sohle vom Marktbegleiter war handwerklich schon gut verarbeitet, trotz alldem hatte ich zwischendurch Krämpfe unter den Sohlen und ich hatte Beschwerden in den Waden, an der Achillessehne, als ob die gleich zerreißen würden, deswegen hatte ich den Gedanken was neues probieren.

Und dann bin ich im Internet auf Ihre Sohlen gestoßen und Ihre Werbung war so, das ich ja nichts falsch machen kann. Sie haben dann innerhalb 2 Tagen geliefert, super. Jetzt zu Ihren Sohlen: Der erste Augenschein und Eindruck, ok einfaches Aussehen einen Streifen unter der Sohle nichts besonderes.

Dann die erste Nutzung mit dem MTB Fully ca. 2 Std. ca. 450Hm sehr angenehm. Zweite Nutzung MTB Hardtail auch ca 2 Std ca. 400Hm auch sehr gut. Nach ca. 5 Tagen habe ich eine Tour mit dem MTB Hardtail von 85 Km und 980 Hm gemacht, super gut.

Dann mit dem Rennrad auf der Tacx smart 1,5 Std. super Aber was ich festgestellt habe oder wo ich gar nicht so drauf geachtet hatte, ich hatte keine Krämpfe unter den Fußsohlen mehr und die Achillessehnenschmerzen waren weg, also super gut.

Fazit: Beschwerden sind wie Weggeblasen Ich habe das Gefühl die Sohlen sind Leistungssteigernd. Und folge nicht den ersten Augenschein sondern prüfe und teste erst einmal ein paar Tage. Ihre Werbung ist super, weil man nach 2 Tagen eh kein Ergebnis bekommt.

Und wenn man befolgt, was Sie Vorschlagen, die Füße erst einmal an die Sohlen zu gewöhnen, dann bekommt man bestimmt ein positives Ergebnis. Ihr seid freundlich, reagiert sehr schnell und versprecht nicht nur, sondern Ihr steht hinter euren Produkt.

Super Danke ich werde mit Sicherheit euch weiter Empfehlen und mir noch ein paar kaufen. Macht weiter so. Ihr seid ein Super Team und schafft ein tolles Produkt.

I received my insoles a couple of weeks ago. They are just what I needed as my feet are not sore after riding. They are not that mush thicker than the original insoles but provide the comfort I was looking for during my rides.

Highly recommend these insoles.

Totally transformed my old Dominators. Considering they’re marketed as ‘extra’ comfortable you’ll laugh at how minimal they are compared to say a Nike insole. but equally surprised by how well they will perform.

I bought these for my husband bc he has major back problems from an accident he had 10+ years ago. He has a plate with 14 screws and always has trouble finding shoes that don’t hurt his back. After years of searching for the perfect shoe we came across HeyDudes and he absolutely loves them.

They’re the most comfortable shoe he’s worn since his accident. They’re stylish and help with his back. This is 6th pair he’s bought. He does go through them quick bc he works in them but since it helps his back so much it doesn’t bother me that he ruins them so fast.

I just buy a pair every month.

My dad got hey dudes on accident one year for Christmas I decided to get myself a pair to see just how comfortable they were since he was raving about them. I work long hours on my feet and go through shoes fast.

They feel amazing first shoes I’ve found that doesn’t make my feet hurt by the end of the day and actually supports them. They fit wonderful completely true to size!.

The Pros: I am a heavier guy, with a very active job where I am on my feet all day while at work. My old insoles would not hold up long and by the end of the day my feet were in so much pain. With these new insoles I have little to no pain while at work.

By the end of the day my feet are a little sore from being in boots all day but not hurting. The Cons: With my old insoles while I would be in a lot of pain by the end of the day, once home, getting my boots off for the day, after an hour or two I would feel fine and could do stuff throughout the rest of my day.

With the new Upstep insoles after I get home, not in pain, I take my boots off and within 15 minutes my body hurts and I can hardly walk. This is because the insoles do a great job of aligning my body properly while wearing them, but once home with no insoles on my body in now no longer in proper alignment and hurts more than if it would just stay out of alignment.

I know this is not the fault of the insole as much as it is the fault of my bad alignment, but at least before I wouldn’t hurt like this after a long day. I am still going to continue to wear them, as it does make work much easier, and I can be more productive, I’d personally love to be able to get a pair of custom Orthotic flip-flops, for around the house wear.

The best insoles I have ever used for cycling… They fit like a glove – confort redefined – I will be buying a set for all of my cycling shoes…

My feet were beginning to bother me, after so many years of walking while working. I bought my first pair about 4 years ago and they really helped with the pain in my feet and also my legs and back. Just recently, my roommate hurt his foot while working out.

It really bothered him. I had an extra set of insoles and he started using them. They have helped him as well. I will order them since they have been discontinued. Thank you, Copper Fit, for these amazing insoles.

My podiatrist specifically told me to get this brand of orthotic insole to help with foot pain and arch support. They arrived new as promised. My only real complaint is that I had to really cut them down to make them fit in my shoes and that proved to be a challenge as these are quite difficult to cut.

I would describe them as being very good quality and they would probably work great for someone else. I do not blame the insoles for the lack of pain relief. I believe that foot pain is difficult to treat and these insoles just weren’t the right solution for me.

I used to buy Sofsole brand insoles that were about fifty dollars. For some reason, they are not available anymore. I bought several different brands and they were not very good. Found these and had to try them.

I have very bad plantarfacitice and had to do something. They don’t have quite the height of the Sofsole brand but, they are a little softer and work about the same. They are not quite as good as Sofesole but, at the price, you could buy three of these.

10 year old shoes, brought new life into them. I took a road trip, thought I packed my socks. Nope, I had to go bare foot in my Sidi’s. 20 miles, no problems

On the bike these are supportive and you do feel the difference, but you’re not pedaling with your entire foot, arch support in cycling shoes is pointless IMO. But what’s nice about them is the low profile, using them in your regular shoes gets you arch support without comprising any space inside the shoe.

They’re also light. I’d get a pair for every pair of my regular shoes if they were cheaper. However, these being so thin I’m not sure they’ll last long wearing them in regular shoes everyday.

I took a punt on these after I found the new Shimano road shoes a bit flat and unsupportive. I bought the low rise (red) version and they are nothing short of superb. They really have transformed the fit for me in theses Shimano shoes.

I’ve been using these for about a month now, I like them about as much as I like the Specialized BG SL insoles, but I feel like the two, while of a similar price point take very different approaches to supporting your feet.

For me, I almost feel like the arch support on my feet is every so slightly too far back. It’s not a bad feeling, it’s just slightly more.

I have two sets of shoes (my mtb/gravel and trainer shoes) with the Control insoles and then my Race Shoes (Shimano RC-9’s, 46. 5). Love these insoles, I went with the recommended size down for the half size.

For my old shoes, Specialized Torch 3’s, that worked perfectly. These slide a little bit so need to make sure these are more aligned before putting my foot in. I should have sized up and then trimmed down.

Other complaint, these don’t 100% align with the vents/drains in my shoes. Raced a few short crits in the rain without overshoes and these tend to hold water a bit. Overall, I love the stiffness of these insoles, the support, and comfort.

I switched to these about 2 hears ago after some pain and hotspots while climbing. These are exactly what my feet needed and nice to have 3 sets of shoes that alll have the same insole feel. These are good enough, that even despite my small gripes above, I still wear 100% of the time and will wear with all my future shoes as well!.

My Solestar Kontrols are a big upgrade over the factory insoles in my Boat Vaypour S shoes. Though they needed quite a bit of trimming in order to fit Bont’s anatomical toe box. The insoles take up a bit of volume inside the shoe, which makes for a more snug fit.

Any slop between my foot and the shoe has been eliminated. My factory insoles had such poor support for my arches, the toes on one foot would start to press into the end of the shoe while standing or applying a lot of pressure to the pedal.

My arch was literally collapsing! The Kontrols remedied this for me, and now my shoes fit like a glove! I’ll be riding these for quite some time.

i wear specialized or Shimano and the chart is correct: in my case they only go to a 48, so i would need a 49 to fit my size 48 shoes Second point: the arch ist for normal feet if you have high arches they do not support enough.

also the heel wasn’t quite right ( too flat where the the arch support starts or the fiberglass was too stiff in this area) Especially the fore foot is comfortable and very thin where the big toe will press, and this seems to remove the bounce and buzz that i experience with top end shoes.

the top layer of foam is just right not too soft and not too hard. In short: these are the best inlays that i have tried, just not adjustable. Unfortunately they do not make a 49, and the arch is too stiff to accomodate packing underneath.

I have been experiencing some foot pain and numbness in my toes recently while on the indoor trainer even for short rides of less than an hour. I assumed my feet had gotten larger over the years but when I checked the fit, it was fine – plenty of room in the toe box.

I read various things about these inserts resolving issues of this sort. I admit I was not optimistic; it seemed unintuitive that arch support would have anything to do with numbness in my toes. The shoes I wear had come with one of these as the original insert, but it was about 10 years old and was the red one (no support).

I have a low arch – probably not completely flat but heading in that direction. I got the middle insert – Blue – for flat to standard arches. That seems to have been the right choice. I was really surprised to see it solved about 80% of the problem.

Numbness gone, pain almost completely gone. Definitely worth giving these a try.

I’ve ridden in S-works road and tri shoes for more than a decade. When it came time for new shoes this year seems literally nothing was available from Specialized. I ended up with 2 pair of $300+ Giros.

My feet were taking a beating and going numb on even short rides (under an hr. ). I had given away my S works shoes as they were just a tiny bit too tight now, but still very usable. I thought about keeping the insoles and but that would be a bummer for the new owners.

I stopped by the LBS, they only had the “Greens”. Trimmed them a bit and did 50 miles in the new shoes and new insoles the next day. Expecting really sore and cold feet by the time I was done. My feet didn’t go numb, they stayed warm and best of all my feet weren’t sore that night.

I was training regularly for an ultra ride and was getting increasing pain in the ball of my right foot which it was suggested was ‘hot foot’. I tried other insoles but nothing helped. I switched to the red version of these only a week before the ride in desperation (definitely too late to trial properly) and they worked! Pain reduced 90% and will be sticking with them.

Definitely a personal thing in terms of fit but work well for me. I tried the green/blue versions previously and they just shifted the site of pain as very high arched.

I loved the new insoles they fit very well for i felt the original soles that came with my shoes were not really supportive- this was very supportive. I would buy another again down the road.

Using multiple varus (orange) shims has made my rides pure joy. It required multiple however I now have no knee hip or ankle pain. Hallelujah

I bought a pair to go into my older S-works shoes to stop having to put in my solid varus wedge I obtained at a bike fitting. They fit the specialized shoes perfectly (this may not be the case with other shoes as they are quite narrow) and the ventilation holes are a good feature.

The price was very reasonable too.

I was getting some pain in the balls of my feet whilst cycling. Whilst these haven’t completely stopped the pain, they have reduced it the more I cycle with them I. A good simple solution.
