20 Best Hydration Pack For Snowboarding (2023 Updated)

Agree with other reviewers. When completely full with water, it leaves little space for any extras. Pretty much only room for phone, keys, multi tool, and energy bar. And even then I have to put my multi tool in the hip pocket because it is too much weight in the rear when bladder is full.

This system leaves more to be desired, but it does work for my purposes. Enough water for 2-3 hour rides and can supplement with bottle on bike. Time will tell in terms of durability. In the main pouch where you would place your phone this is held shut with velcro.

Not the most inspiring in my opinion, but it works… Over time I hope this velcro holds up so I do not lose my phone.

I should have known. Color of the product used here for [Gunmetal-Black] looks almost identical to [Black]. I should have cross checked the product with CamelBak official website. The product color looks more like [light white/grey].

I wanted to use it for this weekend so I did opened the package. Bummer. Product itself seems to be good but I have to use it first.

Good value for the money. Good quality, easy to clean and comfortable. I will recommend.

The quality is not that good . To many straps to put on and it doesn’t fit properly is better to pay more and get a better camelback.

Bought this for my shorter off-snow conditioning hikes and trail rides. It is a smaller pack. The horizontal hydration pouch is placed right on the sweet spot, where I don’t feel it swishing around. The way the back of the bag is lifted off my back with a mesh panel allows the airflow to keep my back well ventilated during tiring/steep ascents.

Love the magnetic clip on the hydration tube, I just drop it when I’m done and it snaps back into place. The floating storage is great for quickly stowing outerwear and things larger items (helmet, gloves, handle end of trekking poles, etc).

There are also two hidden straps that can be used to tie on gear to the bag (e. g. knee pads or snow spikes). Inside is minimalist, there are organized sections for a tire pump, a zippered pocket, and mesh pouches for snacks/miscellaneous items.

The size is right for the purpose that I bought it for. Having a slightly larger size would be a great alternative choice as well.

Replaced a well used Camelbak. The Drafter has been a welcomed addition to my back! Breathes well due to the open space between the pack and back panel, holds all the tools I’ve carried forever, perfect wallet and keys pocket, same for fleece phone pocket that sits at the top (quick to get a photo), magnet for the hose, can get a great sip of water, straps are comfy/no issues.

Filling water is easier now that I have that figured out. The only fit issue is the lower back has, what I’m guessing is, plastic wings that don’t really fit a 6 foot 190lb. guy. I’ve tried bending them to fit.

Great size and fit (truly forgot I was wearing it), but ultimately did not perform as I expected of Camelbak. Primary reason: the tube froze in temps ~20 degrees. Beyond that, the pack is frustrating to prep.

Narrow zipper opening makes it hard to insert/remove the bladder, and messy to fill if you try to slip the top half out of the pack. Inside, the loop material that holds the bladder is so thick it’s almost impossible to secure on the bladder hooks.

I feel pretty savvy about Camelbak, owning three other packs that are excellent. I returned this one. (And to confirm: barely enough room for an energy bar, let alone anything else. ).

I absolutely love camelpaks or any backpack that you are able to get water from hands free. Who ever came up with idea is genius. Prior to having one, I definitely did not drink enough water on hikes, now I don’t have an excuse.

It also was a great investment, because my husband and I was walking down the Grand Canyon and 2 men did not bring enough water. So we shared ours and turned back around to make sure they made it safely.

Used it during snowboarding, and is really small and could be worn under snowboard jacket. I wore it outside, water stayed at a great temperature, no freezing during cold days. Enough space to fit a small wallet, some bandaids and snack bar in the little pocket.

Enough water supply for a day on the mountain for me. Quick delivery, arrived in time for our trip.

This is my first hydration backpack and I have been very torn between price and usefulness until I found this! It is a sturdy bag that fits both comfortably and snuggly to the body. I enjoy hiking in Florida and it is a perfect device that allows me to stay adequately hydrated and also allows me to bring my most essential items! While it is not a hiking backpack outright it is perfect for the day trip.

It keeps the liquid inside fairly cool and nothing warmer than room temp after a few hours. Overall, given the price and what you get out of it, it is a steal! Very nice and has lots of pockets for any reason or occasion.

We sometimes take day trips to go hiking and this has been a big help in staying hydrated. The backpack fits nicely and is made well. It holds a decent amount of water and the water bladder itself is made out of good quality material.

There are a few pockets also so you can take other essential items with you. While this might not be an all around hiking backpack, it does help with those day trips that you need to be able to bring water and other small essentials on.

If you are looking for a nice hydration pack that is well made and will not break the bank, please give this one a try.

Bought this as a day hiking and biking back pack to replace my Osprey daylite pack with a sturdier/more supportive pack. Used it biking in city, while traveling for work, and while hiking in the North Cascades this past month without any issues in all different elements.

Outstanding purchase. Couldn’t be happier with the product; 10/10 would recommend. Rain cover is awesome (and works well) and storage is great; comfortably my DSLR camera, snow/base layers, hiking equipment, and two water bottles.

Works great on the plane too, with plenty of internal pockets/organizers and an sleeve perfect for storing a notebook or a tablet/small laptop. Construction is solid and can stand up to abuse/elements.

The pack fits great and provides support even when fully packed. Better still, the pack looks sleek and doesn’t look bulky or bulge when filled to capacity.

Have the previous generation of this CC10L pack in black and I really like it. I use it for cycling, jogging, hiking, snowboarding, work, outings, and even travel. This was my personal carry-on when I went to Asia for 4 weeks and everything had a place in this pack.

Since I was backpacking with a 50L, I had this strapped to the chest when getting around and it was great. Light weight with many accessory pockets, hip strap to keep the bag tight to body, glasses pocket for easy access, and hydration pack slot that can be a laptop slot as well.

The fact that it opens almost completely helps when getting into it. The one I have came with a helmet attachment holder which works well (can attach a snowboarding helmet, cycling helmet and even a motorcycle helmet) and I bought a rain cover for it as it did not come with one.

You can buy it on the side but I bought the MEC rain cover which works well. Some things to consider: – When the hydration pack is in you loose a lot of space but good enough to fit a thin jacket and some food.

– The inside (DWR) coating is wearing down but it doesn’t affect its overall performance. – The backing is not reinforced so try not to over stuff it as it will affect the shape when it sits on your back.

– It is a bit on the pricier side compare to other packs. Overall, very happy with it.

It’s the best system, especially for individuals like myself whom are active enjoy this product because you no longer have to worry about where you is the last place I sat my water down.

What’s not to love about CamelBak? Now I go about doing my activities with the comfort of always knowing where my water is.

I’m athletic but blessed (burdened…) with a larger chest than other runners my size. With a full hydration bladder, if you have a similar issue as I do, this pack will give you a push-up effect, something I didn’t experience in the VaporHowe.

I’m not saying it might not help me find my future husband, but I’m not the type to flaunt physical features, either. Rather him be impressed with the amount of times I fall on a trail and still finish the run in a decent time with a positive attitude LOL.

But, else wise, the pack is super comfortable, and unlike the VaporHowe, I haven’t chaffed much yet from it on longer runs. TBD during summer months. I’d recommend it regardless of chest size, just forewarning you might want higher-necked tank tops if you prefer to be a little more modest (or not.

Embrace what your mother gave you). Overall, good pockets. Good zippers so far. I’d recommend.

I’ve used this pack on numerous hikes and overall I am very happy with it. I got this pack on sale, and before using it I was skeptical of hydration packs. I can say that I was very impressed and it would be hard for me to go back to my regular hiking pack! It’s extremely comfortable, and even when it’s full to brim, it does not feel heavy.

Before hiking with this pack, I used to feel sore in my neck/shoulders/back, and this is something I never experience with this pack, regardless of the mileage or the weight of it. I like the fact that it comes with the hydration bladder, and the outer pockets.

Even though it doesn’t come with a rain cover (I guess you can purchase it separately), when it started raining out of the blue on one of my hikes, the contents of my pack stayed dry, so I feel like it has some water resistant coating.

The reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I feel like for the price, there are a few design issues that need to be addressed: the hydration bladder does not come with a mouth covering piece, which makes it unhygienic, especially if you are using public/shared transportation to get to the trail.

The mouth covering piece can be purchased separately (I already did) and it’s not expensive, but I find it silly that customers have to purchase it separately and then spend their time figuring out how to attach it.

We all want a mouth cover, so why is this not included? Next, only one of the hip-belt has a zipper, which I also find silly. Why not put a zipper on both of them? There is a mesh side pocket, but only one side (!) of the pack, which I also don’t get.

Why not put it on both sides so that this pack could also be used for traveling? A mesh pocket hardly adds weight. Lastly, the top pocket is very tiny. I can barely fit my glasses and a sunscreen in there.

Why couldn’t they have designed a traditional “brain” pocket on top? Overall, this is a solid day pack and I recommend it, I just wish they would address the design issues noted above, especially given the price.

The CamelBak Sequoia 24L is a woman’s backpack that includes a 3L or 100-ounce hydration container in a separate pocket. First off, the CamelBak Sequoia was designed for a woman’s needs with both zippered and mesh pockets in addition to the water system.

The material is an oxford nylon, and the color is in the grey family. The material is so comfortable. You will be shocked at how much you are able to carry in one backpack. The design includes an Air support back panel as well as a dual wing hip belt that somehow makes your crammed bag feel light even though you are carrying tons of stuff including plenty of water.

The hip belt hugs the bag to your body and provides support. I did not snap the hip belt with one light load, but that lasted a nano second due to the dual wings spreading to each side. I would recommend using a smaller backpack if you were going on a short hike and did not need to pack as much.

Next up, the shoulder straps. My shoulders are my weakest area, but the straps on the CamelBak Sequoia 24L are padded, soft and ventilated. They are strategically attached at the top of the bag to ease the weight you are carrying.

The straps scored high on my list because I need the comfort and the ability to carry heavy loads over the entire day. It also has an adjustable sternum strap. This is, without a doubt, the most comfortable daypack I have ever used on long hikes! The weight is distributed so well that I am going to use it for air travel as well! The abundance of pockets was my second favorite feature.

The bladder pocket and the hose were phenomenal on the extremely hot hikes I take in Florida. The real feel temps here are often over 100 degrees so I needs tons of water. The mixture of mesh sleeves and zippered pockets allows me to organize everything I pack and easily reach for the items I need.

I can finally carry iced coffee in a container that fits in the single water bottle holder! There is an adjustable loop and hook to attach your trekking poles too! I highly recommend the CamelBak Sequoia 24L daypack! The comfort and durability it provides will make your long hikes much more enjoyable.

The new Sequoia is a great pack for the ease of combining your water and gear in one pack and not having to deal with a separate water bottle (although it does have a pocket that allows you to carry a water / drink bottle if needed which is a nice feature).

The support system can be a bit stiff at first, but after a few wears it seems to ‘break in” and was never uncomfortable. Love the stretch “stash” pocket on the front for ease of storing or grabbing something quickly like rain gear or an extra layer.

I am also a big fan of the Air Support panel which kept me cool during the warmer days. The overall fit was comfortable given all of the adjustments you can make, and it does feel tailored to a female fit vs just taking a men’s version and making it somewhat smaller.

The hip belt takes the load off of your back and I love the zippered pockets. The storage pockets help with organization – it’s a small pack so too many storage features would likely just add more unnecessary weight.

I have not had any issues or leaks with he water bladder. Overall, a great option for longer day hikes.

Very nicely design and made pack. It’s a little smaller than what I expected but without a full bladder it’s perfect for riding the bike park for the day, which is what I bought it for. Haven’t used it much but so far I m very happy with it.

EVOC puts a lot of thought into their gear and this is no exception. I would buy it again but I might also buy a slightly bigger one for the changeable weather days so I can bring an extra layer.

Received just yesterday. Thoughtful design and very good quality. Colors look exactly the same as photos. Size looks big enough to bring rain jacket/leg and arm warmers and etc for leisure riding on road if water bladder is removed.

love this bag so much! i bought this for day trail hikes, fits a full 2L hydration pack so well, the hip and shoulder straps are stretchy and so comfortable. the back ventilation on this bag is MAGICAL! i would get so sweaty with other bags but this one is heavenly.

the small pockets all over this bag makes it so easy to organize things inside. i can carry so much with this bag, i often use the helmet carrier to carry a sweater and it works so well lol. I would HIGHLY recommend this bag to anyone who wants a light breathable bag for a full day trip or even a small hike!.
