20 Best Hydration Drink For Breastfeeding (2023 Updated)

I noticed early on in my nursing journey that I was getting super dizzy and feeling constantly depleted. I was majorly dehydrated. I’ve tried a few brands of electrolyte powders, but I really love how these contain coconut water.

The flavors are enjoyable. My favorite is strawberry kiwi. I do wish they weren’t slightly fizzy though. I prefer no texture to my water. They dissolve the best out of all the brands I’ve tried. I stay motivated to reach my goal for my daily water intake.

You can’t beat the price. I would recommend!.

My order arrived yesterday and I drank one pouch before bed and one this morning and I collected 9oz at my mid morning pump. Yesterday I collected 7oz during my mid morning pump. It could be a coincidence but probably not, I feel like it’s the hydromom.

I was also unsure about this flavor when I ordered it but so glad I did. It’s a bit sweet (I usually drink seltzer or water not much else), but hey delicious. All in all I am impressed and Hope my numbers continue to improve because I’m running out of supply for my little guy over here.

I pour this into my water on days I feel swollen and dehydrated. I’m this heat sometimes water just isn’t enough cause i have to keep using the restroom. Hydro Mom is like an instant recharge. The strawberry kiwi flavor is amazing.

It reminds me of a carbonated water but without the carbonation. I know sounds funny lol. Sometimes I just grab a packet and drink it cause they taste amazing. I think I am going to try the green apple next time.

I’m not a fan of apple flavored things but I want to try it.

The berry blast flavor is delicious and everything I’m going to say about the chilled pomegranate. I’ve had all the flavors of Pedialyte advance care plus. I have dysautonomia so I suffer from chronic dehydration.

These are great for quickly rehydrating. The flavors are great. The chilled cherry Pomegranate flavor isn’t as tart or intense as I imagined. They’re all rather mellow and sweet. Very easy on the stomach.

They kind of taste like a saltier melted otter pop or popsicle stick. I highly recommend these. I drink them all the time. The preactiv probiotics help with intestinal issues as well.

Pedialyte has been the one and only line of healthy drinks that actually grasped the task of making these drinks actually taste decently. I was definitely surprised because after my disaster encounter with Herbalife products, I was expecting to be just as grossed out with this drink.

I gave this product 4 stars because I’m not saying that the drink was amazing but it was definitely something that I could drink without forcing myself to consume. And I was able to feel hydrated and not so light headed so the product not only tasted decent, but it did what it says it’s supposed to do.

I will continue recommending this to others.

I wish I had learned about the power of #pedialyte for adults much sooner. After a night out, skip the sugary sports drinks and pick up Pedialyte. For the volume, the price seems okay. However, the label states you should finish the bottle in 3 days once open.

For an individual, that seems like a lot of electrolytes. Perhaps, make smaller, single-use bottles? I’ve tried the powder packets but prefer the taste of the electric blue pre-bottled version!.

” Super easy to down this, the flavors are well balanced and you don’t taste the protein (which I was surprised is whey-based). BERRYI will say that the berry one, even when cold, has a bit of a thicker mouthfeel (so you vaguely feel like you’re drinking syrup) and this was probably the one with the sweetest flavor to me.

PINEAPPLEThe pineapple one has a tartness to offset and is much thinner, tasting crisper and more like a water-based beverage (like maybe you mixed half pineapple juice and water) which is probably why it’s everyone’s favorite.

PEACHThe peach one seems to bring out the flavor of the whey-based protein, so that when drinking it I actually feel from a flavor profile the tartness is vaguely more yogurty, like I’m drinking a thinned out, watery kefir.

Basically it tastes more like citrus/acid + dairy in my mouth, though not in my stomach. But it’s an acquired taste and something you’ll need to be deliberately down for. Like, I do it on purpose in a morning protein shake when I scoop in Greek yogurt, but I don’t know that I want that in a water-replacement beverage where I’m trying to get a light refreshing clean flavor and up protein.

It’s not thick or yogurty, it just reminds of THAT flavor so I will probably, like everyone else, stick to the pineapple as my priority. I haven’t had a chance to try the other flavor. Only downside I’m feeling is that, this is super easy to drink and low cal and feeling BUT — for all that filling sensation, you’re not getting much protein.

Given the price point, that’s disappointing. I’d have to drink 3 of these minimum to feel vaguely like a snack or light meal. That’s expensive. Even if it was 12g I could live with it and gripe a bit but 7g is pretty low.

I have another flat from a competitor I’m about to try; so we’ll see if I stick to this. “.

Trimino coconut pineapple is so so refreshing. The protein is fantastic 7 grams!!! The 0 sugar for diabetics is fantastic. The calories 28. I was so surprised to find a good coconut water. The Peach one is also good.

A bit harder to find🧐 Wish more stores carried them. Hint Hint.

I love Trimino, and this is one of my favorite flavors. It’s nice to be able to get some extra protein with such a small number of calories. And it tastes great besides! I really like it for weight control.

Helps me feel fuller.

My 99 year old Mother needs added electrolytes to avoid dehydration. She’s not a fan of sugary sweet beverages, so we mix the kiwi 1-3 parts with the clear. She loves it, and so does her Doctor.

A better choice is parents choice electrolytes. Pedialyte is using harmful dyes (Blue 1) look it up what it will do..

I love the fact that I am able to build my own pack, Only thing I wish I could change is the instead of getting 6 of each is that I would be able to pick out more of a free style of which ones I would like.

For example like 3 strawberry 4 Pomegranate 2 orange Mango 1 tropical and so on. I absolutely love greater than and recommend it to all the moms I come across when I find out they are breast feeding.

I honestly saved my daughter and me because of the formula shortage, I was scared that I would have to switch from pumping to formula cause I was not able to produce enough. I had tried everything then BOOM Greater Than for the rescue.

I went from pumping 12 ounces a day to 36 to 40 ounces a day. They saved me and I will be a supporter of them through all 4 of my kids that we plan on having!.

Once I had my baby this past January I ordered to help with my milk supply and keep me hydrated not thinking it would work but this stuff actually works. I’ve recommend Greater Than to many of my friends who aren’t pregnant and they love it.

I ordered the Peach Clementine flavor which I thought was just Ok. It had a thicker mouth feel than I was expecting. While it was enjoyable, I felt like I tasted the monk fruit more than any peach or clementine flavor.

While I can’t confidently say it’s really making an impact on my milk production, it does help with hydration. I’ll continue to try all of the flavors. All in all happy with my purchase.

Love hydromom! This flavor though, is just what I expected it to be. It’s so good!! It’s like a fizzy firecracker pop. These drinks make a world of difference in my day. They give me a lil the mom go go juice I need in a day to take care of two kids, clean the house, cook and play, all in one cup of hydromom.

I had previously tried a supplement with fenugreek and did not have a good reaction. I’m so glad to find one that doesn’t have it! I’ve been nursing my baby for 11 months now and my supply is fairly regulated, but sometimes I need some extra help, like during growth spurts.

This supplement has helped tremendously. I like that it’s not overly sweet, or too overpowering. I usually have to add extra water to powder drink mixes, but not with this one. The flavor is okay. You can sometimes get an aftertaste of some of the herbs, but it’s not bad.

My baby hasn’t had any adverse reactions, which I’m so glad about and I feel great that she doesn’t get frustrated when she needs a little extra milk.

I love it , I mean it smells like maple syrup and taste kinda sweet when mixed with water. But I just discovered mixing a packet with Lemon sparking water. (Chefs kiss) it’s delicious. Not as sweet as with plain water and the bubble make it enjoyable.

This drink really helped me increase milk production by 2-3 ounces. If I drink it consistently and pump milk while breastfeeding my milk production increased to almost 8 ounces each tit. Keep in mind this is my personal experience.

Everyone produces milk differently. But this product is my go-to. It usually takes a couple days for the milk supply to increase.

Product could have more potassium and magnesium; if vigorously sweating will need more than 6 & 10% (respectively) to replenish sources and prevent muscle cramping.

I like the addition of taurine and coconut powder. Would like to see a version with zero sugar/dextrose and higher electrolyte doses.

The most underwhelming flavor I’ve had at Redcon. Almost no flavor at all with a full scoop and 16 ounces of water. If it wasn’t for their 50% off sale, I would be upset. I’ve had the Blue Freeze flavor and that one has too MUCH flavor which is why I put more water than usual.

Skip the Cherry Lime unless you get it on like a 50% off sale like I did. Even then, definitely not worth it. Do not recommend.

This product used to be great and then they had to go and change it. The flavor is worse, it’s practically hydrophobic it just becomes a clumpy mess at the bottom of your bottle and it’s $10 more expensive?? No longer worth it.

The old formula was great but now it’s ruined(the new flavors taste almost the same as each other… cherry lime and strawberry lemonade shouldn’t taste the same).

I was excited when I first saw SOS online at Sams club. Their products are what I have relied on for years to keep me hydrated as I work and run daily in the heat and at altitude. All the flavors taste great and you can feel the benefits almost instantly.

I particularly like how you can consume during the most intense of activities and it doesn’t cause any stomach issues. I will be purchasing more this weekend.

This product is great for a lot of reasons. I use this for the whole family, especially my significant other for when he’s working long days. It really helps to keep healthy levels of fluids as well as potassium and sodium levels at a normal place, more so on days he works long hours and can’t always hydrate.

It has a great flavor too! He always says that he can’t believe how good it tastes in comparison to the other flavors of this brand. The Advanced Care works a lot better than the other brands as well.

My toddler really likes this flavor as well; I give to him when he has off days of not wanting to drink a lot of water, or we’re having a busy on-the-go day just to make sure he doesn’t miss out on anything that he needs.

For my family, it has a variety of uses and I can think of a number of other situations where this drink would be very helpful in making one feel better. I really like what this product has to offer and I would certainly recommend.

This biosteel didn’t disappoint. Package contained 16 packets. Lots of flavor in each packet. I mix 1/2 packet in 24 oz. water there is plenty of flavor. No sugar at 5 calories/packet. You can get this same flavor in a 500ml cartoon but it is approximately $3.

This package was $24 at Canadian Tire. Definitely more economical to buy packets mix as I do. This product helps me to drink alot more water daily. The Rainbow twist flavor very good to. Definitely recommend to buy.

Decided to try this flavor, wasn’t sure what to expect. Kind of hard to describe but it is good. A faint hint of sweetness like maybe cotton candy and some fruitiness, like ‘white cherry’ or maybe blue raspberry.

Flavor is pretty strong, I mix this into 40oz.

The peach mango flavor is tasty, even in 18 oz of water plus ice. More watered down than that and it starts to taste weirdly metallic from the stevia. Mixes up thicker, more like a juice, so it?s more satisfying than refreshing.

I got this hydration drink after watching a video or reading something (can’t remember). I thought: what a great idea! Well, to be honest, every time I drink it I’m left wondering why? Sweetened with stevia, I wish they would use xylitol instead which also protects teeth from decay. Lemon-lime is my favorite flavor but it’s out of stock, the mixed berry tastes good also. Because other hydration mixes contain a lot of sugar, Biosteel is the only one I buy.

It would be even better if a mix came totally unsweetened so I could add my own, either sugar, xylitol, or nothing. I drink coffee black, no sugar so I’ve weaned myself off the desire for sweet tasting drinks completely.

I absolutely love the super human hydration. As someone who has dealt with chronic leg cramps all my life while playing ball, I was skeptical that anything could help that. Just one scoop at the beginning of the day & another in the middle of the day, and you’re golden.

These became a life saver for me when pregnant. I had THE WORST “morning” sickness and water was even impossible to keep down most days. I had an ER doctor recommended that I try something like this or Gatorade and DING DING, this little baby was the winner.

I first started drinking BodyArmor drinks about a year ago while I was pregnant. I had really bad morning sickness and Gatorade made it worse and I needed something to keep me hydrated. These drinks were amazing! Most of them taste pretty good but my favorite is the Fruit Punch.

It tastes like a Capri Sun but has vitamins and electrolytes. Now that my son has been born, I’m still drinking them at least once a day. the coconut water in them has been really good for my milk supply while breastfeeding and they really help keep me hydrated.
