20 Best Hybrid Vehicles For Towing (2023 Updated)

An excellent construction kit, absorbing and time consuming probably takes about 20 hours to put together. I find these very relaxing to build. Lego was new when I was a child and a light up brick was about as sophisticated as it got.

I dont have the imagination to make something like this on my own but thankfully it comes with very detailed step by step instructions and I have really enjoyed building this. I have previously done the Land Rover & Mack Truck kits.

I’m 80% done with this set, and its really great! It’s my first pneumatic set, so I’m really enjoying the new functions. Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of the look, but I do like it better in person.

I’ve also decided to not apply the more OTT stickers. Not to knock this set, but I do wish I could buy pneumatic parts or other sets on the store. I would def buy this set again.

This truck gives you a lot for the money. Tons of working functions and the pneumatics work great and are fun to play with. The non pneumatic functions seem tedious to play with in comparison, but they are still nice to have and add a lot.

It might seem like a lot of money for a toy truck, but the mechanical nature the of this truck, especially the pneumatics, makes it something really quite special. I’m really impressed with it as an adult and I’m sure my nephew will go nuts when he sees it! Easily one of the best products Lego has released in a long time.

Very easy to install. Look up Watch U-Hauls install video to learn a couple of tricks. “Drawtite hitch install 2014 Ford Explorer” Not as hard to wrestle in place as I expected. Since the truck has dual mufflers, I just rested the hitch across the top of the mufflers.

Although it is not visible in picture, mine came with the little tab welded to the hitch so you can install a plug connecter mounting bracket. I am very happy, this is a very clean looking install.

This hitch, despite what some of the other reviews state, is an easy to bolt on hitch that required no special skills to install. It does NOT come with hardware, which some reviewers complained about but it does not NEED any since the hitch utilizes existing bolts/hardware.

The instructions are well laid out and easy to understand if you actually need them (I did not). One note to ease installation. The muffler needs to be unbolted from it’s hanger, which is easy enough however despite that the fact that muffler is unbolted, the operating room above it to access a mounting bolt is quite small.

Unbolting will require the necessary socket but also realistically requires a universal joint attached at the point of the socket with a 6 inch extension. To make the job easier, since there is no swing room for a wrench, an impact gun with a universal joint will make life far easier for this install, specifically for the bolt above the muffler (that’s what i used) but it’s not mandatory.

Also, this hitch is compatible with “stow and go” seating, which is on my van (2012 dodge grand caravan). This is a two man install only because it’s quite heavy and wide. A floor jack will suffice if you don’t have a second set of hands to hold the hitch up as you perform the install.

Just figured I would offer my two cents.

INSTALLED ON A 2011 HONDA ODYSSEY FOR USE WITH CARGO TRAY. HARDEST PART WAS REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE PLASTIC PIECE ON LEFT SIDE. MAY WANT 2 PEOPLE TO MAKE JOB EASIER. I SPRAYED WD40 IN TREADED HOLES BUT HAD NO PROBLEMS.

GET ALL BOLTS STARTED BEFORE TIGHTENING THEM DOWN. WISH I KNEW HITCH WAS THIS EASY TO INSTALL BEFORE I HAD ONE PUT ON MY CRV.

Ever since TM launch the P790 series I’ve been playing them. I received the 17′ version as soon as they were released and loved them. There were a few negatives in my eyes, the first was feel/sound. They felt very clicky and didn’t have the muted sound I prefer.

Then there was the hot shots that flew an extra 10-15. This became a more common occurrence for me that became hard to predict. Lastly, they were a bit clunky looking from the top. When the P770 was released last year I jumped on the bandwagon to minimize the hot shots and get a more compact look.

I really loved the look of the irons and the more predictable yardages but they spun a lot for me. The 770’s are more traditionally lofted which means I was adding a lot more spin to the ball which didn’t fit well for my game.

When the new P790s launched that looked more like the 770’s I was immediately intrigued. The sound and feel has improved greatly from gen 1 P790’s. When you look down the shaft the topline is a bit more beveled and is much more appealing.

On the sim I’m getting very consistent numbers. My miss tends to be a toe miss and I’m blown away by the carry distances I’m getting with a toe miss. Normally this is a 15+ yard miss and I’m seeing minimal impact.

The new P790 is everything TM is stating it is, forgiving, low spin, distance iron with plenty of height. Don’t sleep on them.

Purchased a TW sand wedge with a few custom modifications, I ordered with an alternate shaft and bent strong one degree to be 55*. Club was shipped directly from Taylormade quickly which I was happy about.

Unfortunately after having the club checked by a reputable club builder, basically every spec was off. The length which was supposed to be standard was over half an inch short, the loft was 56, and the swingweight was significantly lighter than what’s listed as standard partially due to the shortened length.

I am extremely disappointed with the build quality from TM and expected more from such a big/reputable brand in this industry. Now I’m stuck with a club that is too short and would have to use a shaft extension to play at standard length.

Subpar quality control from the build shop at TM which unfortunately seems to be a relatively common issue. Side note the club head and grind are great. I’m just disappointed with my experience ordering a club with custom specs.

I am a loyal Taylormade fan and recently needed to upgrade from 2011 Taylormade Burner 2. 0 irons with whippy regular shafts. My golf game has improved tremendously since 2011 and needed a stiff shaft to compensate for my swing speed and tendency to miss left.

These irons are incerdible! Admittedly, I liked them at first but struggled hitting them consistently. After about 8 rounds and several practice sessions, these things feel sooo good in my hand. The profile gives me confidence at address but the topline isn’t too thin to intimidate me.

Coming from a cast iron club, the feel on these clubs when you strike the sweet spot is incredible. These irons go far and have a beautiful ball flight. I like the stock 105g stiff shaft from Dynamic Gold versus the custom options that were available.

I am a 12 handicap and feel confident these irons will help me move into mid-high single digits soon!.

This was not an easy job at all. The exhaust system had 3 connections points that had to be taken off to drop the muffler to have access to mounting the hitch. Drilling the hole was okay and feeding the lugs, washers and nuts was okay.

The heat shield was a real problem as I cut it as shown in Utube videos but it was not enough and the shield was blocking one of the attachment bolts, so snip, snip and I got it in place. The rubber straps to reattach the exhaust system (3) were totally difficult to do especially the two on the muffler.

The tail pipe was okay. I had to lube the rubber fasteners and stretch the hell out of them to reattach. Finally got it. Looks great, works great. Oh year I was NOT on a life but on the ground.

I love this hitch. I was lucky that all the holes on my frame were pre-drilled and made the job very easy. The instructions were really faded so I couldn’t really use them, but I printed out my own from their website and everything went really smoothly.

Only took about an hour and could have done it quicker if I had an impact wrench to take out the old rusted bolts. I was also really lucky that my full size tire still fits up under the bed of the truck.

Just a note, I only had to take one bolt off the frame so the bumper stayed in place for me. The side bumper braces I had to take off so I could get to the bolts, but it was no problem putting them back on.

Arrived in a box – nice! Hitch had one pretty good scratch on it – no worries, touched it up right away with some Rustoleum. Install kit was intact – that’s the main problem I’ve seen with these. Watched a video on YouTube for installing a U-haul hitch (looks exactly like the Draw Tite) on my 2017 Honda CR-V, and was spot on.

Took the gal in the video about 15 mins, took me 2 hrs, but hey, I’m an amateur, don’t have a lift, used jack stands, and was operating upside down under the back of the vehicle the whole time. There’s like 6 steps involved in the install, and each has its “Challenges”.

Overall, a pretty easy install and now we’re set to haul bicycles around!.

Recently cracked the face on my gamer, Adams black super hybrid and was looking for a similar more rounded shaped hybrid which is rare. I tried out the Apex, Apex Pro, Sim2, Sim2 Max, G425, Tour Edge C721, and TSi2 hybrids.

Out of the bunch, I liked the G425 and the regular Apex because they are extremely forgiving but was not a fan of their iron-like looks. I was close to purchasing a regular Apex but randomly came across this club and was convinced by all the great reviews.

They weren’t lying! The biggest reason to buy this club is that it sits flat and a touch open making it much harder to hook than any other hybrid I have tried. Even adjustable hybrids often have more weight in the heel or a lot of offset making them hook monsters.

Also for a “pro” hybrid this club is extremely forgiving and has a large enough sweet spot for all handicaps. This club launches high and straight, with a true flight (no ballooning) and has a great muted sound/feel.

The stock KBS shaft is also perfect for this club. It feels very stable and is so well balanced that is it hard to overswing. It should be noted that the shaft lengths are a bit shorter compared to other models out there so you may see a slight decrease in distance compared to your current hybrid.

The Mavrik Pro 3 hybrid is 40″ compared to the Sim2 Max 3 hybrid which is 40. 75″. I prefer the shorter shaft because it fits in better with my iron distances and is a bit easier to control but some people may prefer more distance oriented hybrids.

The Mavrik Pro is like a combination of the regular Apex and the Apex UW but half the price since it is a year older. I purchased my mine with the current 25% discount for $115 in “like-new” condition which is an absolute steal for the performance.

Not sure how this club flew under the radar but I guarantee, you will not be disappointed!.

I purchased the Cobra Speedzone Extreme driver 2 years ago. without being fitted or even swinging the club. I purchased purely on the basis of the many reviews that heaped praise on the club as “long” and “forgiving”.

I can hear all of the golfers out there yelling “dumbas*”. lol! For some reason, I was literally unable to hit the club. It had an annoying “hollow” sound, and looked like a grossly oversized “Flintstones” club at address.

Plan B was to begin hitting 3 Wood off the tee. which worked well. Earlier this season, I purchased a Mavrik Sub Zero 13. 5 3 wood with a stiff shaft (from Callaway preowned). a club that as a moderate swing speed/14 handicap.

should not have been great match. For some reason. I consistently crushed that club and loved the sound and feel. Lke most golfers that are never content, I was still missing the extra 20+ yards that a driver should have provided me on those long par 4’s.

Since I was doing well with the Mavrik 3 wood. a step up to the Mavrik driver seemed like a logical move. From the very first first shot with this club. It was an amazing reunion with the joys of smashing a driver.

I don’t understand how or why I couldn’t hit the Cobra. I’m sure that it was more about my swing idiosyncrasies than the club. I’m just happy that I can consistently hit the Mavrik standard driver. and have been able to add substantial yards off the tee? Absolutely a great club, crisp thwack sound at impact, large forefiving face.

I could not be more satisfied. I was considering waiting for the Rogue St drivers to become more available (I gamed the Rogue ST irons this season and like them) but, given the relatively. small performance differences and significant pricing benefits of the Mavrik.

It was a no brainer to go with the Mavrik driver. I would highly recommend this driver!.

First let me say that I am new to golf, I played for the first time on 5/20/2021. I had borrowed a set of clubs to play golf with friends. Obviously I was hooked from that point on. I had played 2 times with borrowed clubs prior to purchasing the Mavrik 5-9, PW, AW, GW, SW.

Also the Mavrik Driver, 3 Wood and 3 Hybrid. Yes, I bought the whole Mavrik line. I figured it was Callaway so it had to be at least decent. I was not disappointed. I first played with these after only 2 times ever playing golf.

We stopped keeping score after 150, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter after 150. Haha After getting these, my 3rd time playing with my friends my score was 125 on a par 72. Well after 5 months I broke 100 for the first time.

After 7 I broke 90. I am now playing just as well as my friends who have been playing for 20 plus years. I’m sure it’s not all the clubs but they sure are a large part of it. I bought the Mavrik clubs with the Graphite shafts & regular stiffness.

They say they are for someone who is 5 – 15 handicap with my swing speed. That is where I am now and I can honestly say they feel amazing. It is now 3/10/22 and I am consistently shooting in the mid 80/s.

My best score so far has been an 81 on a 7,200 yd course. 10 months and I’m actually shooting what these clubs were meant for. I bought the clubs for where I wanted to be, not for where I was. The only change I made was different grips.

I went with the Golfpride MCC Plus 4 Jumbo grips because my hands are a bit arthritic. Best change I can recommend. The Callaway factory grips feel like they are made for a child. They are so small, It’s so hard to squeeze your hands around them if you are older.

I can hold these grips lightly and they feel awesome. I would definitely recommend these to someone looking to improve their game. They have obviously improved mine.

easy to install – found a YouTube video on installation – breaker bar helps taking off (tow hooks) and installing trailer hitch – No issues!! great, affordable and reliable way to upgrade the 4Runner

I bought this because I discovered that the previous hitch on my 4Runner had not been properly installed and wasn’t even the right one. Getting the old one off was much more difficult than putting this one on! I used a jack to support the center of the hitch as I bolted it in.

That made life much easier for me.

My Curt hitch arrived one day early. The installation was a breeze and fit perfect. Had no problems. This is our second Curt hitch. Will buy another if we ever need to. Great product.

Fits perfect. I followed a YouTube video for installation and that was easy. Packaging was meh, but it got here. The welds are a bit messy for my liking, but for the price I would buy it again. Don’t forget to buy the wiring harness separately.

I put this on my 2018 Chevy Traverse Premier and it fit like a glove. Taking everything off was was a breeze and so was mounting the hitch. The only hard part is running the frame bolts through, the exhaust doesnt drop low enough to get good access.

I had a 1/2 inch pipe about 18 inches long which I used to hold the bolts down while I ran the nut and washer on. I had all the right tools and it took me 2 hours from start to finish.

Removing lower body moulding was a real pain, much more clip and fasteners than shown. Needs 2 people. Moulding needs to be held up be 2 bungee cords to lift gate because of attached wiring, while you install hitch below.

Some of moulding clips impossible to replace on reassembly. Took 4hrs +. My traverse is an LT, would be harder on upper level models.

Used on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with factory bumper. High quality product that looked factory fresh after a quick and easy bolt up. I used some cheap long reach needle-nose pliers to hold the nuts in place and installed the bolts from the muffler side and “nothing” had to be taken off.

Without the $5 pliers, I already had, it would have been a major pain. Instruction diagram showed the bolts coming in from the back (bumper side) but did not say anything about a removal bumper. There is less than an inch from the frame to the bumper.

It may not be an issue on other years doing it that way but this will install without anything coming off “if you have the pliers”. Wire kit was a direct install as well.

This unit is well built. It has one major difference as opposed to the higher priced versions. It comes with bolts, washers and NUTS. The more high priced units have the nuts welded onto the hitch so when it is installed it is a lot easier to put in the bolts.

You have to reach up into a really narrow space and get the washers on and then the nuts. If this hassel isn’t worth the $60 to $80 savings then get one of the higher priced units. It took me about an additional 15 minutes to get the nuts and washers on in the tight space.

I ended up using a narrow channel lock pliers to hold the nut while I turned the bolt. Then things went easy. Also remember to run the wiring up along the frame towards the front of the jeep and then cross over the frame.

(its about a foot forward. maybe a little more. just look for the hole to insert the clear plastic retainer into that is attached to the wiring included with the unit) Other than these two small details I really like the unit.

I have more time than money so I really liked the savings on this unit. Wiring works perfect.

The hitch is great, as expected. It took 30 minutes to install and I didnt even have to take the number off. The only issue I had was some confusion with the wiring instructions. The actual wiring is easy (detach, reattach, reattach, good to go.

) The difficult part was understanding how to run the wires. Easy enough to figure out though, just do a dry rub before snapping the clips into the frame. Overall, loving the hitch and couldnt be happier with it.

Easy installation and looked great! 4 bolts removed and replaced done. Simple as that

Didnt have to remove any body panels, barely had to do anything with the muffler. Easiest one Ive ever done.

Received the club by post as expected, within timetable stated. Fully boxed and in perfect condition. Have been using another brand driver for the past 5/6 years and due to ageing have lot some metres.

This Mavrik (great name by the way) came with a seniors shaft as ordered. As soon as I held the club it had great feel, comfortable and felt great in the swing. No practice but was out competing against my mates the very next day.

First drive was out of the centre, straight and directly to my target. In fact as I was aiming fairway left I found the ball had gone through the fairway by about 10 metres. Unusual I thought. During that first 18 holes I missed (mishit as was over did the swing speed) only 2 fairways.

I have now used the club in 3 rounds and without doubt I have added between 30/40 metres onto my normal driving distance with the old competitors club. I am nearly overwhelmed with the accuracy and definitely overjoyed with the distance I have gained.

Helped break my handicap in 2 out of the 3 round. A fabulous possession right there. Recommend to all ageing golfers, if using a regular shaft, go grab a Mavrik.

Being a little older now I was looking for a driver with R flex shaft to replace my 909-D2 stiff shafted driver. I read reviews on some of the items on sale. When I saw the review of the shaft in the Mavrik it sounded like a good fit.

I purchased the club – 10. 5 degrees, and left it set at standard loft, etc. The club looks great at address. I have hit stiff shafts in the past because R flex shafts felt too whippy, and the club face too hard to control.

This club has none of that for me. I hit 5 or 6 drives at the range before teeing off the day I bought it, and was amazed at how light it feels, but never feels like the club head is out of sync. During the round I hit drives longer than the 909-D2 with much less effort, which was one thing I hoped for at my age.

The biggest issue I had was remembering to slow down so I could keep a consistent swing path through the shot. I could tell where the ball was going to go easily by the way it felt off the club. Love the sound on flush hits, but mostly it feels like a club I can make a great drive with and not have to muscle it through the swing.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this set the day it came out and was very excited but around half way through the build I noticed one of the pneumatic functions wasn’t working and I narrowed the problem down to one of the pneumatic valves, it was a bit disappointing but I ordered a new piece from Lego with little hassle.

I kept on building and finished in about 7 hours. All of the other functions work well and the truck looks good and doesn’t have many gaps and I just got the replacement piece today and it thankfully works.

Overall the set was very good it’s packed with functions, looks good and is great value. I would recommend getting this set.

I’m always so impressed with Mastermind. High quality, beautiful toys and such a good selection. Now that we live in Northern Canada I was unsure about shipping etc. But it was perfect. Our item arrived so quickly, was really well packaged and our son was so happy with his gift.

Great tires for all your SUV needs. Handles great on pave roads regardless of snow, rain, or dry. Very predictable and sure handling. Very minimal road noise, considering its a A/T tire. And also does well off road and handles all that you throw at it there.

I have it on my 05 Liberty Renegade, upgraded from the stock Goodyear Wranglers, which were horrible tires, and went with a 245/70/16 size upgrade (widest allowed on stock suspension) from a 225/75/16 and the jeep and tires have perform flawlessly.

Recently bought my 2nd set and installed. But found out that Firestone has discontinued this tire and introduced a newer version “The Destination A/T2”. But have also raised the price significantly, which is a turn off for me.

As the price point and performance of the Original Destination A/T tire was just right. For the new Price point that Firestone wants, I’m better off looking at other brands with proven performance/history that are in the same price point.

So they may lose alot of customers, me being one of them in the future.

Of course these all-terrain tires rumble a bit, however I experience several manufacturing defects such as dipping and out of round. At one point balancing a tire required 7 oz. That’s excessive. The Firestone store in Lacey Washington could not road force the tires, which is a better way to test the balance.

I took it back and got the one particularly bad tire replaced. Still there was the wobble. To top things off the manager of the Firestone store told me that I absolutely could not get a refund based on the 90-day ride and try program.

That official Firestone policy says that you can get a replacement or refund “no questions asked”. I verified my initial understanding of the program online and found out he was not telling me the truth.

I actually got him to say I couldn’t get a refund twice. I confronted him about it and he said he didn’t know that. So here I am a customer who knows more about the Firestone policy than the Firestone manager supposedly.

The tires are fantastic and a decent price. It was easy to schedule an appt. What I was not thrillee about was I set an appt between 8AM-9AM and I had to be there by 8:15 or lose the appt. I got to the tire center by 8AM they literally did not start changing the tires till 9AM.

I scheduled the appt early due to work and was almost late. They completed the service quickly but not sure why ot had to wait til an hour after my appt before the work got started.

Installed the hitch in under 2 hours. We do not have access to a lift so space was tight under the car. The challenging part was lowering the dual exhaust prior to the hitch install and reattaching it after the install.

Installing the hitch went smooth. Definitely a two person job. I recommend watching some YouTube tutorials about installing it. One video said to use an adjustable strap to support the weight of the exhaust.

All in all, I recommend this hitch. Great hitch at an affordable price.

This hitch is a quality unit that looks good, built well, and easy to install. I am pleased with the way it turned out. If you normally work on cars and know your way around a wrench, you will have no problems.

If you are somewhat intimidated by this project, I recommend you give it a try. I installed mine in a 2012 Subary Forester and I had to move the mufflers out of the way, drill some holes larger, make a slot extending from two holes, and guide some bolts and backing plates through a channel in the body.

The slots are so you can get the backing plates into the channel in the Subaru. The backing plates are 1/4 in thick, so I used a 1/4 drill bit to drill a hole very close to the hole I needed to slot.

A hand file was used to remove the metal to transform the small hole into a slot. It is important to STUDY THE INSTRUCTIONS to use the supplied wires to fish the bolts and backing plates through the channel.

Since I consider myself a competent home mechanic, I only glanced at the instructions and spent an extra hour trying to remove the backing plate so I could install it again correctly. If the instructions are carefully followed, the backing plate and bolt installation is quick and easy.

Why use SAE fasteners on a Subaru? It sure made a simple installation difficult. Also, on a car whose towing capacity is 1000#, they clearly mark it as 4000#! Tips: 1. Use the box the hitch came in to lay on under the car.

You’ll be there a while. There are 5 muffler hangers. Spray liberally with WD40 and wear heavy gloves to remove. If your hands slip you are surrounded by razor sharp heat shield. A pry bar also helps.

2. There are four mounting holes, two on each side. The front large hole and the middle hole, 8 1/2″ back. I am a tool junkie, and do not have the 17/32″ bit called for to ream out the rear holes. I used a 1/2″ bit and ran it at high speed with little pressure–if you push too hard it will bind, if so just reverse the drill and start over.

After you get the bit thru put pressure on it to the sides to worry the hole a bit larger. Be sure that it’s large enough for the bolt with the fish wire to fit thru. Wear safety glasses!!!! 3. To get the bolts and the spacers inside the frame, the large front holes need to be ground larger.

Use a rat tail file or the side of a standard file fore and aft to make it big enough for the head of the bolt and the spacer to fit. The die grinder did not work well–I used an air powered file. Please wear safety glasses! Now mount the hitch as per the instructions.

Put WD40 on the muffler hangers again and reinstall the exhaust system. 4. The wiring kit is well designed, but the instructions are dim, barely legible, and tell you nothing but where to plug it in.

Run the wire with the white connector end behind the black sheet metal in the left rear if the tire compartment, to the side where its matching plug in the car is. Plug it in then run the end that connects to the trailer thru the 1 1/2″ hole in the floor of the front left tire compartment.

Remove the rubber plug in order to do this then cut the plug with a pair of scissors from the outside diameter to the center of the plug. Cut a place for the wire to go thru and reinstal.

AutoAnything had a good price. Hitch arrived via FedEx. Box had 2 holes. no damage to hitch. Installed by myself. A little awkward, but using jackstands to support the hitch worked well. Most time consuming part was enlarging the frame holes.

Did it with a hand drill as I don’t have a die-grinder. Mounting holes lined up perfectly using the supplied fishwires. Very happy overall.

the hitch was fine for us as all we were using it for is to carry bikes around. not sure if I would trust it for a heavy trailer. Install would have been easier if the bolts fit through the holes. instead of widening the holes we just ground down the bolts flat on 2 sides to fit through.

it did not compromise the strength of the bolts at all. Also the hitch seemed to be about an inch too wide, which made getting the bolts through a little harder. it seemed to tighten down ok though.

Great product, fits perfectly, looks factory on 2013 Ford Escape. I would recommend this hitch to anyone. Installation would have been easier with a few extra instructions. 1. Lift the hitch in place and secure it with punches in the 4 mounting holes.

2. Fish the wire with bolts and washer attached 1 at a time through the frame and out the mounting hole. 3. Install nut on each bolt but do not tighten until all bolts are through. I fished all 4 bolts through and then lifted the hitch in to place.

As I was pulling the fish wires through the hitch holes, the hitch slipped and sheared 1 of the wires off leaving the bolt inside the frame. It took me over an hour to get the bolt back out.

We’ve used these now for two trips towing the jeep behind the RV. Running the wiring harness thru the frame on the drivers side is not as difficult as it sounds. The lights work perfectly. This is a simple installation.

Plugs in to the existing factory wiring harness and tail lights. I’m not a fast worker so it took me two hours. Most others say it took them half that or less. No shame in my game. It’s installed the same and works perfectly.

The plug is secured to the brush guard beneath my front bumper for easy access and stays hidden from plain sight.

Easy to install. Eliminates the magnetic lights I’ve been using. Much more convenient. I don’t know why I didn’t do this right away for flat towing our Jeep. I waited too long.

This is a great product. I’ve used these kits before. They are simple to install and very well made. However, I ordered this one for a 1997 Wrangler, but my 1997 used a different connector for the tail lights so I could not install this kit.

From my subsequent research, it seems this kit is really for 1998 to 2006. For some reason, Jeep seems to have used a unique connector in 1997.

The installation would have been simpler with instructions and new bolts, both of which were neatly tucked into the receiver opening. If only I had known sooner than later. So, words to the wise: (1) After opening the box, look inside of the receiver neck; and (2), there are install videos available on U-Haul’s website.

This is more so a review for bb wheels in general. Ordered 4 tires and had balancing issues from day one. Had road balanced per their request and found multiple tires out of round. Started a warranty claim and nothing but issues.

Each email assured me they spoke with the manufacturer and then gave me a list of things requested. This went on for multiple emails. The proceeded to tell me the manufacturer denied my claim because of inner shoulder wear(tires had 17/32 remaining out of 18/32 with less than 600 miles on them and no way you could see the inner shoulder of the tire from the pic.

) called about it and was told that it was straight from the manufacturer. Called the manufacturer myself which i had already been in contact with because emails from bb wheels didn’t seem to line up.

Manufacturer assured me that they had no communication whatsoever or pictures from bb wheels. Called bb wheels back and they changed it to they sent then info to another company they deal with and they sent it.

Called the manufacturer back myself and writhing 10 minutes i had brand new tires being shipped and 100% covered under warranty. Don’t waste your money and time with bb wheels. They have zero desire to stand by products they sell and flat out lie and change stories when called out.

these atturos are good. road noise is minimal. make sure you rotate them as the rubber compound is not the strongest. i burn them up too fast with my lead foot. & if not rotated they will start to cause shimmying on your front axle.

they are a little hard to seat on wider wheels but much better than cheaper 10 ply out there like venoms. also deeper tread than venoms. overall a good smooth riding tire which handles offroad conditions just as you’d want.

Absolutely Garbage! Iv kept my vehicle very well maintained. Supposed to be a mid grade tire. Was told from several other places there actually an economy type of tire. Suppose to be good for 45, 000 miles.

Got 20 to 25, 000 out of them & also not good for high speed. Going over 70 makes your vehicle shake & becomes a rough ride. Before writing this review i had my suspension inspected to make sure everything was good & it was! And of course Auttro will not honor there brand & i wasted 1,200 & now have to spend another 2,000 for a company that will.

Where I live, (Nova Scotia, Canada) it is hilly. From home to work and back, there are many, many hills, some of which are quite steep and large. On my Townie, using the max assist, in a low gear, I finally made it up the largest, steepest hill in my commute.

I loved my old bike, but I went to the Townie because I’m getting closer to 60 and my knees aren’t what they used to be. The Townie is longer and heavier than my previous bike and one of my real challenges has been learning how to manage some of the sharper cornering with the longer bike and power assist.

On the Townie GO, the assist works a bit like cruise control in car. While you’re pedaling, the assist is boosting you. If you brake or stop pedaling, the assist suspends until you begin to pedal. It seems like any amount of forward pedal will produce a surge of assist, which I especially appreciated while making a left turn in traffic, while going uphill.

One thing I’ve noticed, is that I have an increased confidence in being in traffic. My commute takes me 25 – 30 minutes by car; on my old bike, about an hour through trails and neighbourhood roads; on my Townie Go it takes around 35-40 minutes.

I like the handlebars, I like how upright I’m sitting, I like the feeling of being flat-footed when stopped, and I’m loving the boosted assist. I use a rear basket. With the assist, I quit thinking in terms of what I couldn’t carry because of the weight it added and I started thinking in terms of, what do I want to take with me today.

I read reviews, I watched videos on You Tube, I saw some ladies in my neck of the woods on their Townies and asked them how about theirs, and I spoke to other cyclists who had switched to electric bicycles.

I’m glad I finally made the leap, it’s made such a positive difference in my riding. This was a BIG purchase for me and I’m glad I did it.

This bike is meant as a pleasure cruiser, not necessarily a daily commuter. The balloon tires feel for a nice ride overall, but are easy to rupture. I got a flat my 2nd time out. If you’re going to be going through areas of unlevel surfaces like potholes or rail road tracks, you’ll need tougher tires.

That max out of 20mph can be a bit of a bummer. You can coast downhill faster than that, but once you’re full speed on the highest gear, you will know because you have no torque left in your pedal, even if you’re not using the pedal assist.

Gears 1-3 are completely useless, unless your goal is to pedal 100x and go next to nowhere because there’s no torque. I think just having some more torque power could have added some speed to the bike.

However, at the highest gear, the bike is a pleasure to pedal. I never actually need to be in any gear other than 7. The cruiser style puts you in a more upright position, with higher handlebars. At first, this was completely foreign to me as I’ve always had mountain bikes.

I love not sitting on my wrists and having pain in my hands. Since I’m more of a travel for fun and commute and not out here jumping hills and doing tricks, I like it. Might even raise the handlebars on my other bikes.

The seat is pretty comfortable also. I’m still crushing my pelvic bone in the front, although less than my other bikes and my butt is pretty cozy. The bike itself is pretty attractive. I’m going for a more mountain bike style on my next one, but Electra has nice colors and overall just pretty.

So many companies are doing this one-size-fits-all thing and I do not like it. I don’t understand the whole “flat foot technology”. What have they done special besides create a conversation about making sure you can put your feet on the ground?? I have no idea.

I’ve tried like crazy for the past week to figure it out. I’m almost 5’6″. I am tip-toed on this bike even when the seat is all the way down. I definitely have to come off the seat to flat-foot the ground.

And I definitely cannot ride with the seat in the lowest position. Let’s be real, no bike company has a bike built for me. Last time I had. A bike I could easily reach the ground, my feet were hitting the tires because I have very much above average size feet for a barely reaching average height.

When the frame is short enough, the frame is not long enough and I’ve always had to put up with not reaching the ground. It’s maddening. One day I’ll get a custom bike and it will be the one that lasts the rest of my life.

I swear 😆I got last year’s model (2021) and I really like the look of the battery on the back with a rack. I’m sure this has it’s downfalls. Now batteries are built-in to the frame and that’s I’m sure better for longevity and not as immediately identifiable as an ebike to theives.

But the one on the back with the rack looks cool, am I right? LoL.

I absolutely love this bike. I find that just knowing you have the assistance if you need it makes you want to cycle more, farther, and try new routes. Last weekend I cycled a 24-km route that I would have been more hesitant about if I didn’t have my Townie Go.

My view on what’s feasible has totally changed. It is very easy to switch between no assistance and pedal assistance, which is normally what I do. It rides very well as a “non-e” bike, and the 7 gears are helpful for this.

When I’m using the motor, I tend to ride in 7th gear unless I’m going up a hill. I am definitely heavy and the motor still gets me up average hills fine. I do have to put a BIT of effort in, but I expected as much and don’t mind.

It’s very minimal. If you are looking to put absolutely no effort and do a lot of commuting up hills, you may need a bike with a more powerful motor and larger battery. That being said, I have still taken this to work or out on errands on routes with some small hills and it’s a breeze.

The battery lasts about as well as I expected. I would say I have to charge it after 3-4 rides, and even then, the battery isn’t dead– I just want to make sure it’s full for the next one. It is very quiet, just a faint whine when the motor kicks in.

The bike is also very comfortable, as all Townies are. If you’ve never ridden in the upright position, it’s a game changer as well! My back has always hurt on mountain/commuter bikes but doesn’t with this one.

After stealing my bike a few times, my husband has now bought his own e-bike. Everyone I’ve let try it out has been impressed at how fun and comfortable it is. I would definitely recommend giving this bike a try if you can– you may be surprised!.

I received my tow hooks timely. This past weekend I was going to install them. One of the brackets looks like it was used and is most definitely damaged (scratches through to the metal). I emailed Rough Country 5 days ago and have heard nothing.

Disappointing all around.

Great product! Appears to be good strong material (haven’t pulled anything yet) strong coating good quality shackles. Very easy install! Took about twenty minutes with hand tools. My truck has a front mount tow hitch and these shackle mounts fit perfectly with the hitch mount.

Highly recommend to anybody that wants to add extra recovery points to their trucks!.

Wanted a better mount for my recovery gear and this is perfect. The mount is made from some heavy duty 3/8″ steel plate and the shackle is nicely machined. Takes maybe 15min or less to attach. Loosen the inner bolt, take out the front bolt and slide this in, reinstall and torque down.

Easy install 1 wrench.

I bought this club back in March of this year, and it took a while for me to figure out where this club fit in my bag. currently have it in a 5 wood, which i have set to 17 degrees or -1. 5 degrees from standard.

i love the versatility of this club as its difficult to find its spot but this is now my off the deck strong 5 wood. it is a really good club and i like the spin control and the height that i can get with it, the only thing that i have a problem is the face.

it scratches very easily and i can potentially see durability and ball flight issues as a result of the scratches on the face. it scratches easily because of in being a cnc milled face compared to a traditional wood face that you see with other brands.

Great club with great performances, but the face design is questionable.

I am waiting to use my new Radspeed fairway while I recover from rotator cuff surgery. The new club replaces my F6 #3 fairway that I have set at 13. 5 to use off the tee on all but the longest and widest par 4 fairways.

I am confident that the new version will perform even better. Rockbottom offered such an amazing deal on the club that I had to snatch it even before my doctor releases me to play golf again. Until then, I’ll just have to admire the ‘Rad’ in my bag.
