This is good quality down, no feathers. as it should be for the price. It weighed at just over one pound (without shipping sac). Ok so far. Frustratingly, though I read the advertising product description and it says 850 fill power for the premium price.

After weeks of waiting, the bag arrives, and in marker written on the bag, it says 800 fill power! Very disconcerting when you pay a premium then wait for weeks. So many scams out there, in the linen/down world.

for instance, I bought their “Siberian Down” (product description) knowing it’s a meaningless term “Hungarian Down” also. just words. but I did expect to get Premium product, and therefore I chose to order despite the higher cost, just to be sure.

the down is excellent, no doubt it is premium! Despite my gripes here, I’ll likely be purchasing another. I just wish ANY of these providers could be accurate, trusted, and maybe better regulated so that the numbers, descriptions, value sync up.

Found a few loose grey down bits mixed in but that is only due to the sheer 10 denier shell material being used and it’s not an issue for my application. Most importantly, this is all down. Zero feathers (read bird needles!) that poke holes in fabric to escape.

Very pleased with the product and initial field testing is on the horizon with Winter settling in.

This 80/20 Goose Down/Goose Feather product appears to be as advertised. I am no expert on down, so I cant verify the bird of origin or the ratio of down to feathers, but I did get the correct quantity and my quilt came out nice.

I would recommend this product and if I need more down filling I would buy this product again.

I ordered this set because I stayed at a Hyatt and wanted pillow hat felt that good for my own bed. I was super excited when purchased this. However, after purchasing almost a month ago I finally got them and these items were not in any way what I expected based on the reviews I read.

The pillows had almost no filling in them. I literally just purchased cheaper pillows from Amazon for my guest bedroom and it way nicer and more comfortable than what I just received. I waited almost a month just to get these and now I have to turn around and send them back.

I just want my money back and I’ll go back to Amazon and get a set. Very disappointed.

I think I actually found a pillow to love. I could CRY. Why is finding a good pillow so difficult!? Anyway, I bought a couple because it was on sale and only needed it for “decor” bed pillows, but I’d buy it full price now knowing how lovely it is! The alternative down doesn’t feel weirdly fake at all.

There’s a nice density to it, as in it squishes down softly but with some resistance. It feels so high quality, and the sewing/stitching is quality too. I’m planning to try the low profile ones for sleeping, but the medium density could work for some people.

I am recommending this to everyone!.

I always wanted to try real feather pillows, but couldn’t afford them. I had a gift card and couldn’t think of anything I wanted, so I decided to get these pillows and see if they were any better than fiber filled or memory foam pillows.

Well, let me assure you, they are very different and so much better than any pillow I have ever slept on. Even my husband commented after the first night of sleeping on his that he was sore in the least anywhere the next morning.

How much better we both have slept since buying them (about 3 months ago) is astonishing. I want to buy both my children a set of these pillows for Christmas, they are so comfortable. THEY ARE GREAT PILLOWS and worth EVERY PENNY for the great nights’ sleep you will be getting.

At first, I did not like the pillow. I felt it was too firm. After a week I came to love it! I was so accustomed to the previous feather pillow that it took an adjustment period. I like that is is hypoallergenic.

That was the deciding factor along with being 100% down feathers. No crackling from this pillow. It does not aggravate my allergies.

I have come back to change my review, because unfortunately these pillows cause me quite spectacular pain in neck and shoulders within a few minutes of leaning against them. I have tried this 3 times over a few months to make sure it is the pillows, and unfortunately it is.

I do have a pain condition, but have never experienced anything like this with any other pillow. My guess is that there’s no support. I will have to give them away. I bought both the soft and medium versions and cannot tell the difference.

Obviously lots other people find them great, but if you have pain, maybe buy one and check it first!.

This is my second time purchasing this pillow (the first thru Amazon). I LOVE THESE PILLOWS!!!! I have tried over 12 other pillows before finding this one and from here I’ll never look back. As a heavy traveler, I stayed at high end hotels and found the pillows so wonderful.

Once I discovered they were Downlite pillows and that I could get them for my home, I immediately purchased them. If you’re having trouble find the right pillow, look no further, this is the one!!!.

We went in a cruise and these were the pillows the cruise line used on the bed. I very often wake up with a debilitating headache. But not once on the cruise. As soon as we got back, i ordered two pillows from Downlite.

This duvet insert is beautifully made and fit my F/Q duvet perfectly. As some noted, it is still fairly warm. I’d love to see a duvet insert that is actually flat/lightweight for the summer months.

Th is comfortable is very nice and feels quite comfortable. Unfortunately, it is not lightweight enough for a Mississippi summer. But now that it is fall, it is just right for the Deep South.

So impressed with this comforter. Its well made and I love that its made in Brooklyn. Perfect weight for North Carolina.

I received the The Company Stare Company Conscious Down Alternative Pillow from BzzAgent to use and review. As soon as I unpacked the pillow I saw how thick and fluffy it was and when I gave it a squeeze it felt so soft and fluffy.

When I let go it bounced back into it’s full fluffy shape. The pillow itself it made with high quality materials, being cased in a pretty cotton sateen shell, and is filled with a tencel and lyocell fiber.

This sustainable filling is breathable and kept me cool and dry all night long. The Company Store says it has temperature regulating properties and that it’s naturally dust-mite resistant which is a super bonus.

I tried the Standard-sized pillow that’s generously sized measuring 20 in. x 26 in-so it gave me plenty of room to move with my changing sleeping positions. I haven’t washed this pillow yet but it is machine washable and you can tumble dry on low which is another great benefit.

I would definitely recommend this pillow especially because it’s a down alternative and not actual down-easier cleaning, cooler sleep, doesn’t flatten like a real down pillow does, and no feathers or quills poking out.

My down pillow purchased from. the Company Store around 25+ years ago finally broke completely apart during its “death” spin in the washer. I admit I washed it in hot water and dried it in a hot dryer for two hours weekly or bi-weekly.

It still lasted almost 30 years. True, it was flat but I like flat as I sleep in all positions (but mostly on my side) and like to plump and push the pillow under my chin enough to allow my head to rest lower.

And so it worked. But when the last of the stitching broke down and it looked like a major snowstorm. had taken place in my washer–and wasn’t that fun to clean out–I came back to the Company Store for a replacement.

I had been gifted some new mostly feather with a bit of down pillows from a friend but after two nights gave them away. Ugh; too heavy and insistent on shaping themselves instead of working with me. Though the prices are high here.

they are worth it. My only debate was over the level of firmness level. I read most of the reviews of this pillow, trying to. figure out if the soft would. be. too soft or the medium be too firm. Finally, recognizing that for many years I had been sleeping happily on a pillow so deflated from decades of use that it was better to go too soft (if that happened) than too firm.

because I hate it and cannot sleep well when my neck in an upward position and my head high. When that happens it is impossible for me to do the punch-and-push routine I like to get the pillow into my favored position.

When it arrived I was both. startled and. displeased to see how “high” it was even after leaving it out of the box all day. Putting the protective cover and two pillowcases on it made it even a bit higher.

But the difference is in the use. The next morning I noticed that while it was still higher, and. firmer, than I liked it also had the potential to flatten out and become what I needed: a soft, flexible pillow that could work for all sleeping positions.

(This ability of a pillow is super important to me as I like to fall asleep on my stomach yet (I’ve been told) to turn over immediately onto my side. It’s been about two months now and I am pleased to say that this pillow is a dream.

It is not as flat as my original–I assume that. will take another 20+. years to achieve, but it supports me in the way I want, accommodates my multiple sleeping styles, and allows me to sleep deeply through the night.

I no longer wash this new pillow weekly because I bought two pillow protectors and always use one with two pillowcases. That should keep any saliva away from the pillow so I hope to wash it maybe twice a year.

However, I still plan to use hot water and a hot dryer because I. believe in getting things really clean. I’d rather replace things a bit more often (15 years anyone?) rather than have unclean items.

Good work on the pillows. BUT please add more down and fewer feathers to this. pillow which. lists it as approximately 75%/25%. and raise your price if necessary. Pillows are essential items and they can be bought almost anywhere for almost any price.

You should not try competing with cheaper places. Stay high end; the customer base may be smaller for $150 pillow (with tax) than for a $15 pillow, but when you have first place. in your product don’t attempt to try for third, fourth place.

I. LOVE. THIS. PILLOW! I have a very bad neck and back. Getting a good night’s sleep is few and far between. I’ve tried dozens of different types and sizes of pillows but if they feel good at all, it usually only lasts a week or two and I haven’t found a pillow that doesn’t aggravate an inner ear pain since I am a side sleeper.

I have often regretted getting rid of a feather-down pillow that my father used for years then I used. It was the best pillow I ever had but threw it away when the casing started getting thin and feathers were poking through.

Since then my neck has never felt good and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on other feather-down pillows that don’t offer the neck support I need. I thought this pillow was priced so well that if it didn’t work I wouldn’t be out much money.

But, it’s a dream and I’ve slept “like the dead” since getting this pillow. My neck doesn’t ache and strangely, my neck range of motion is better! I am very pleased with this pillow and intend on buying a few more for hubby and daughter.

I so wanted to love this pillow, and wanted one with a gusset for my neck, but it goes into the closet with the rest of my rejects. I ordered the low loft due to neck issues and because I am petite. The pillow is well made and looks nice.

However, the height is way too much!! It’s approximately 5″ and feels like it has air in it. I can’t imagine how thick the overfilled loft would be. I even put heavy books on it for days, but it bounces right back as soon as I remove them.

The search continues.

I bought a soft and medium queen pillow after reading reviews. I preferred the medium for side sleeping. I place this vertical on top of my king down pillow. Queen length allows my upper arm to be supported which is important for sensitive shoulders.

I exchanged the soft for medium. It fluffs up like new in the morning. Worth the money. Very happy with my purchase.

I searched several places to replace my pillow. Tried different styles and nothing was comfortable. Got a Cuddledown catalogue in the mail and saw this pillow advertised in 3 different sizes. Took a chance on the smallest size and it is perfect.

I am a side sleeper and do not like a bulky pillow. This is awesome.

We had been looking for very high quality down pillows, and when we saw the Downtown Co pillows on Bed Bath & Beyond’s website, we were certain that for the price these must be the ultimate. When we received them, we learned that they are anything but — hardly any filling at all in these “moderately firm” rated pillows, such that when you put your head on them, your head will hit the mattress with only the pillow case separating you from it.

And for the crazy price, these are simply worth nothing at all! I would have rated them 0 stars if the rating allowed. Returned them to BB&B without problem, and bought Wamsutta down pillows that are of the highest quality and very firm.

This pillow is NOT 100% down- it is 95% Hungarian Down. I am not sure what the other 5% is, but when I took the pillow out of it’s pretty case, it had a slight chemical smell. I let it air out by the window for a few days.

The smell dissipated quite a bit, but lingered slightly. I could smell it when i laid my head down on it. For the price and the down fill amount I thought it would overall be a better pillow. It was not supportive for me.

When I slept on my back, my head sunk into it considerably. When I slept on my side, I had to fluff it. It flattened out a lot within a few days. For me, it is not supportive at all. I am extremely disappointed.

I have a bad neck and sleep on my back. This pillow is soft and does not make my neck stiff. Everyone has different tastes in pillows and this is mine. I also remove the inner pillow. I have two of these now so am a repeat buyer.

They wash well and for me work well! I never recommend pillow, it is just a personal choice.

This duvet is light and fluffy. It provides the perfect warmth for me. I like that it has loops for the duvet cover to tie to.

Omg! These smell entirely and absolutely like GEESE! I know that they are goose down, but the pillows smell like wet duck you’d see in a pond, as if they haven’t been properly cleaned. Even after running them through the washer and using Gain Aroma Boost and Downy, they still reek just the same! Don NOT buy! I am a mom of 3 so I definitely know a thing or two about lots of pillows! My 5 year old sat up less than 10-15 seconds of laying on them and said, “Mom these stink and smell like animals!” and the fact that she had absolutely no clue what they were made of, yikes! (They’re also flat and do fluff in the dryer as the rep advised me to do, Howe they do not stay fluffy they sink flat as a pancake.

Love Love Love these FEATHER PILLOWS!! They SO remind me of “back in the day” where feather pillows were the norm. No foam fill;( Now there are people that like cheap motel foam pillows, alright, but then, there’s the upgraded type of overnight stay places, you know the ones with 1000 count Cotton sheets type hotel experience.

Well these pillows are hands down an EXCELLENT FEATHER PILLOW.

It’s nearly impossible to find a down pillow with good reviews, and at a price that doesn’t rival a car payment; so I was very excited when I came across these as they got good reviews and were reasonably priced.

The pair arrived in a tiny box, and looked as though they were rolled in a Dominican cigar factory they were so tight ( I was a bit surprised by the packaging). After a few days of airing out they looked great! I was so excited to finally use them – they looked so plush and inviting in crisp pillowcases.

The first few minutes of use were a dream, but then they deflated until I barely noticed I was sleeping on anything. They could use about 50% more fill to be usable. Sadly I can’t return them as I threw the box out.

My advise: pay a little extra for quality.

This is the first time I purchased a feather/down pillow. I read the reviews for this pillow on other sites and they were all 4 stars and up so I decided to try them. The pillow is very comfortable. For me it is just the right amount of firmness but also very soft.

I find it easy to mold to the shape I want it to be. I sleep on my side and my back and it offers me equal amount of support both ways. It also doesn’t get hot as others pillows tend to do. I feel I am sleeping allot better since I am using this pillow as well.

I feel more rested and I am not waking up with my neck hurting anymore. They are tightly packed when recieved so I left them sit for 24 hours and fluffed them multiple times during the 24 hours and they puffed up perfectly.

My first nights sleep with these pillows was the best nights sleep in a long time. I am extremely fussy about my pillows and as a side sleeper i find it difficult to find comfortable pillows, these pillows are exactly what I have been looking for.

The pillows give me perfect neck and head support, which ensure that my spine remains aligned, making wake up easy and the best I have experienced in a long time. The pillows are made from great quality material that will last a long time and unlike cheaper pillows I can see it lasting a long time, these are definitely pillows that I will take to my dry cleaners (as recommended on the packaging).

We have been looking for the perfect down/feather pillows for a while now and love the Beautyrest Tencel and Cotten blend Feather and down fiber pillows. We tried two different companies before trying this one and love these pillows so much.

One was a fancy company where we paid much more and still didn’t like how the pillows felt. We like generally like soft pillows but I felt so good after a night with these. I tried another brand but then we tried these ones and we love them the best! They are soft and comfortable without feeling like they’re filled with a ton of air, and they still provide a good amount of support considering they’re feather/down pillows.

You can easily fluff them right back into their full shape. We have slept great on them! They great value for what you’re getting! Great pillow! Will probably buy another pair once we have a guest room.

I bought this right after Christmas as it was on my wish list and i did not get one. Unfortunately, they were out of stock so did not arrive until the end of February. Vermont Country Store checked with me every few weeks to be sure I still wanted to wait.

It was worth the wait. The pillow has just enough loft to give me support and an excellent nights sleep.

I am very disappointed with this pillow. It doesn’t feel like the down pillow I fell in love with at a friend’s house. I can hear the feathers crackle when I nestle in, and it doesn’t give me neck support unless I move the filling around.

I think it is a blend with regular feathers. The attached tag reads Minimum 75% down. Sounds ok, but not 100%.

I’ve had a hard time finding a down pillow for my husband over the last 10 years. I have bought several different pillows. This is by far the best one. He’s not using it every night yet. But he is keeping this one.

Several years ago, I slept on these pillows at a friend’s house and was amazed at how well I slept. I asked where she got them. I looked at the department store website where she got them but alas! They were no longer available there.

I initially bought this for my husband and when he was out of town I used it for a week and fell in love. He is a back/side sleeper and I am a stomach/side/back sleeper. He runs hot, I run cold. As you can see we are polar opposites but this pillow is one of the things we have in common.

I ordered 2 more after trying his and I have been sleeping well for the past few weeks. I also noticed I am tossing and turning a little less than before. Hopefully this pillow stays around forever.

My husband and I had not been sleeping well. I have bought 8 different pillows. I finally reached out to IHG because when we travel we love their pillows and sleep well. They told us about Downlite. I purchased 3 differed sets of pillows because i didn’t know what we would like.

We love them all. We have 4 on our bed and the extra will go to the guest room. We sleep so much better. These are worth every penny and then some. Thank you for giving us our sleep back.

I always buy goose down pillows but these are the worst I’ve ever had. Bought to replace old ones and I will sending back. My head is touching the mattress through the pillow. Definitely not worth the price.

This might be the worst pillow i have ever bought. It just came one in a bag and after a week of use it was literally flat, totally use less. Not worth it to buy with a price tag. Avoid this at all cost.

I bought pillows couple of weeks ago and unfortunately since first use they feel not full enough, they are pretty flat. My previous pillows (different brand) were little bit cheaper but with almost double of the amount of down feather.

Very nice finish and fabric but not for its price. Disappointed customer :(.

I purchased Scandia Down pillows couple of years ago and decided to wash them recently. I washed them like any other down pillow I’ve ever owned but it took forever to dry (almost two days) and at the end they turned brown/yellow color, with unpleasant smell.

I called customer service and was told I’d have to send the pillows in for evaluation (pay myself for shipping) but from what they could tell, it was due to improper drying and all they could do was offer 30% discount on the replacement product.

They also told me that Scandia Down pillows should never be washed at home, although it doesn’t say that on the label, and since I did wash them myself, the warranty is no longer valid. Apparently, I had to call 1-800 number for washing instructions, which is basically send the pillows in to Scandia Down and have them professionally cleaned for $60/each.

The representative couldn’t tell me what’s different about their down/feather that the pillows can’t be washed at home like all other pillows. I have pillows from Parachute, Macy’s Hotel Collection, Brooklinen and never had issues washing them at home.

I would think a company like Scandia Down would go above and beyond to make a customer happy but obviously it wasn’t the case. I’ll be buying my bedding at Parachute from now on, especially since they have a beautiful new store in our neighborhood with great customer service, better pricing and better quality products.

Pillow was horrible. Flat and scarcely any volume that supported neck or head while in use. Very ineffective and extremely overpriced. Return policy also terrible, as the company refused the return because it had been taken out of its packaging.

Amazon would have never done this! Will never be shopping with this company again.

I purchased this pillow to add to others I have. Although I like the pillow it is not as firm as I expected. I have several firm Scandia pillows and I would say this is the softest even tough the others are old.

I ordered this online and next time I buy a pillow it will be in person.

I bought these pillows since I bought a new mattress and box spring. I absolutely love how these feel when I go to bed. I have always been a side sleeper and prefer a firm pillow. This was an excellent purchase for me.

This pillow is firm and has a good support but I think I like it a little less firm. I tried the medium Lucerne pillow and it didn’t have enough support. I’ll give it a few more days.
