As the specs are wrong alot on the internet, I went to the company website. The 2500 is cubit feet, not square feet, so one must calculate the height or depth of their space to find the square footage that the unit will work in.

In my case, my travel trailer is 200 sq ft with an 8 ft ceiling. The 2500 will dehumidifier approx 300 sq ft with an 8 ft ceiling. It is working flawlessly at this time on the Texas humid coast. If only it ate mosquitos.

barely picks up anything. Pretty much not worth paying for. We rented a commercial dehumidifier that is picking up about 4 gallons a day, nothing from this machine. Completely worthless.

It works well, but its 1 pint, not 4 like labelled in the description of the product by Wayfair. And I read that it’s supposed to have a timer setting, it does not. It’s one button click on, then you click it off.

But so far no problems. It’s definitely quiety which I appreciate.

The dome works perfect. The first dome the that was sent that came with the root riot kit was smashed during shipping. Happy hydro immediately sent out a replacement dome. Great service.

My initial order received was missing all three vent covers. So I immediately called Bain’s Farm & Fleet to see if the covers could be sent out to me since I liked the clear dome cover vs refund, but needed the vent covers to control humidity and temp inside the dome.

Laura, Customer Service was very helpful and responsive in obtaining the necessary info from me to be able to resolve my issue. I received a new dome cover with vent covers within 10 days at no charge.

General Hydroponics FloraMicro Advanced Nutrient System is supposed to be used during plant’s blooming cycles. Even if you grow your plants in soil, this is a great product to have on hand to feed them nitrogen, calcium and trace minerals since it can be used to feed plants grown in a variety of mediums, including soil.

I’ve found that it helps me avoid harming my plants from either feeding them too much or not enough minerals. One plus is the product lasts indefinitely when kept in a cool environment, out of sunlight, in a sealed container.

The down side I realized is that using the Flora Series will prevent your plants from being considered organic. (The company explains this is because only crops grown from unrefined minerals are recognized as organic, however unrefined minerals don’t dissolve well for hydroponic use.

Certain unrefined minerals contain quantities of impurities that are toxic to plants. Flora Series are made from high quality refined minerals. This ensures high quality crop production, but prevents your crop from being considered organic.

) Also keep in mind that you should ideally use FloraMicro along with FloraGro and FloraBloom to support all your plant’s changing needs during their growth cycles. Resources on the General Hydroponics website are invaluable, especially Nutrient System Feed Charts.

The information makes what could be intimidating and complicated much easier to understand.

Pros: easy to use, works well, no smell, indoor/outdoor use, can be used for many media types, can be used on a lot of types of plants, mixes up fast and easy Cons: not a complete fertilizer without the rest of the system The General Hydroponics FloraMicro 5-0-1 is great! This hydroponic nutrient is just one part of the system, though.

This part only provides nitrogen, potassium, calcium, and some trace elements. You need to also use the rest of the line in order to have a complete nutrient system. The instructions on this bottle are clear and easy to understand.

There are specific rates for various stages of growth, and the chart on the bottle lets you know exactly how much to use for each application. This fertilizer mixes up very easily in water and it smells slightly like chemicals when concentrated and smells like nothing when it’s mixed in with water.

It mixes up to a pale rusty orange color and it’s not foamy at all. This series of nutrients can also be used for outdoor crops and really many types of plants. It’s not limited to just hydroponic use.

It can be used both indoors and outdoors. I used this on some plants that were really needing nitrogen, and they were very happy to receive it. They greened up over a couple of days after using it. All in all, this Is a really nice fertilizer.

This fertilizer is great for a wide range of growth stages, it can be used for a wide variety of applications, it’s easy to mix, and it works well! I would absolutely recommend it!.

I am not much of a green thumb but since the pandemic, as most people have, I have started dabbling in growing some vegetables. With my limited space, I have tried hands on hydroponics. It’s fun and challenging at the same time.

It’s like the Tamagotchi pet in the 90’s where you have to attend to regularly to make sure it thrives. I used the FloraGro about 3 weeks ago on my hydroponics and it looks like the roots are liking them and my lettuce leaves are green and lush so far.

This gallon goes quite far because you only need a teaspoon to a gallon of water for regular vegetation. It is 2-1-6 solution, which is 2 Nitrogen (this helps with leave growth), 1 Phosphorus (which helps with fruiting), and 6 Potassium (which helps with strengthening of the roots and trunks).

It also has micronutrients that the plants need, so that’s a plus. As you can tell, which the FloraGro solution, the emphasis is on healthy roots and trunk growth. My plan is as my plants mature, I may have to give it a solution that has bit more Nitrogen.

And for those plants that are going to bear fruits, squash, or edibles, I intend to support it with plant nutrient that has more Phosphorus. I do think that the FloraGro is a good product to help establish strong roots, stems, and trunks.

Once those are established, you will need additional Nitrogen and Phosphorus for your plants.

The double stem on the Meter is hazardous to small plant roots. One stem is slender–it’s all right. The other is much fatter, and definitely difficult to work into the potted plant without damaging the tender roots.

I have lome soil and moisture is always in question. The meter seems to work, but I wonder about the the accuracy. The meter displayed either very wet or dry, but not mid-scale. Also, I had to be careful when inserting it into soil as the rod are not that strong.

getting a accurate ph reading requires you to leave the meter in your medium which isn’t good for the meter. the light meter is interesting. I think it’s advised to buy a twenty dollar digital ph pen if you only need this for ph.

Don’t buy this brand. The tent zipper broke a few months into use, and they won’t replace it. They don’t warranty the product, so you should buy a better brand that will last. This is no good and not worth the time or money.

Easy to assemble and made out of heavy duty canvas with a heavy duty zipper. The inside is very reflective. Steel frame that pops together with push buttons like a vacuum cleaner hose. Plenty of ventilation and upper cross support to mount your lighting.

All and all, a decent grow enclosure for the reasonable price it was. Id recommend this grow tent and buy a second one if needed.

Nice and solid construction. Only problem I had is the assembly instructions included are almost useless. I ordered the 20x36x62″ and if I had followed them it would have been a square. For example, the illustration showed the “A” pieces are around the bottom, they are all the same length so square.

I had to improvise by measuring the different pieces and assemble according to what the finished dimensions are. Another thing that helped was to look at this listing picture to see how the Shell fits over the frame, again, the instructions are very little help.

I gave 5 stars for the construction, would have given 1 or 2 for the instructions. All of that said, now that is is assembled I am, and will be, very happy with it. Looks like just the right size for what I want to do.

Everything about this was exceptional! The quality, the packaging, the instructions, and the variety of contents that you get. As soon as it arrived I knew that I would be buying another grow tent kit but even bigger after I broke this one in.

The hardest part of the whole thing was figuring out how/which way I wanted to have the exhaust fan, duct, and carbon filter. I might have missed it on the actual fan but if perhaps the fan itself were labeled with a small airflow direction indicator that would make it even easier.

Just be prepared that you might have to make some adjustments but other than that no complaints. It has definitely been engineered and manufactured to last. Plus the controller and app behind the whole thing is great! So easy to use and setup the different settings from timing of lights to how frequently the fans run or what temps and how hard the exhaust will run.

If you’re looking for an all in one setup look no further. Should you have questions or concerns customer service was great!.

I feel like I wouldn’t be doing this review justice without saying this is your perfect starter kit. I still need some other amenities. however, what is here was beyond my expectations. I have it running in my garage, maintaining perfect temp and humidity with a passive 8″x8′ intake alone.

The t6 lite pulls plenty of air only needing about a 1 or 2 to maintain humidity and temp(outside is about 42f. Sudden snow storm yesterday). Light shows to be using 433w from the wall. good coverage and most importantly plants are loving it.

The Tent itself is a beauty. Thick canvas with excellent insulation. Charcoal filter works. only time I can smell anything is when I open the tent. (things may change in a month when I switch to 12/12 but I doubt it) This setup is a huge upgrade to your old blurples and cobs.

If you are in the market, I’d highly recommend this setup; plus humidifier, dehumidifier, ac and heater for your best year round growing environment.

This Grow tent kit is hands down the best kit you can get anywhere! The quality is grade A top premium, the equipment is top notch, the price is easily understandable and compared to the other others way more doable.

It’s compact size make it perfect for one plant and easily capable of stashing in a small closet or laundry room. I love it and I am already planning on getting one of the larger ones just for the luxury of doing multiple plants at the same time.

Oh yea definitely gonna upgrade my controller 69 Bluetooth to the 69 wifi as soon as it’s available to order.

Makes a good germination station. With great pots for first transplant. Seedling tray is a one time only. Will have to be replaced each use unless you are really careful.

My indoor garden kit has all the right pieces to make a fun starter garden in the early spring! Dome keeps the fur babies from eating the seedlings.

Not as sturdy of plastic as the description would have you believe. I’d be surprised if it lasted through three reuses.

Whether cigars or other means of controlling humidity, these are the way to go. Please be advised that they REQUIRE to be in a enclosed environment in order to be effective. If something is extremely over dried, dont expect these to bring the humidity back to 62% as described.

They can however either raise or lower humidity to the target number on the pouch, but extreme swings probably wont work. For example, if something has 30% humidity, dont expect the pouch to bring it back to 62%, thats too low, Ive tried and at best it may raise it to 50-53.

Obviously this is the case if the humidity is too high as well, which is the reason why burping your jars or whatever you are using is necessary to control the release of moisture. I found these pouches are most effective for storage.

Once 62% humidity has been obtained, they do an amazing job at keeping the humidity at the target number.

I grew three Cali OGKush Haze plants this Summer on the deck. Brought them inside on the 28th September when weather got cool and damp. Cut down on Oct 10th and hung. Oct 22nd put in vented totes. Nov 10th Deleafed and put in 4 CVaults.

One plant took two. Delivery was fast with no damage. I have never seen such well packaged items. The boxes were wrapped with heavey paper,with “this side up” and “fragile” stickers on all sides. No dammaged CVaults.

The cover makes a tight seal and they will be a lot easyer to burp than multiple jars. They are not a “must have” but if you can afford them, they make curing cannabis easyer. Thank you Indoor Farmer.

We have a few different sizes (they offer many). They’re super efficient and I like the sleek silver look. They hold a little moisture control pack in the lid. Replacements are easy to find/buy. You don’t have to replace it often, but once the moisture pack becomes crunchy/dry you want to switch it out with a fresh one.

We like to use the * Boveda Packs * but there are different brands. The container itself seals well and holds a lot. Even the small ones hold more than they appear to. They’re kinda pricey but we’ve been using ours for 8+ years and they still seal well.

Definitely worth the money spent.

The product itself is amazing and a great solution for curing; I won’t use any other manufacturers products. I just wish that they didn’t send me damaged and dented units. The boveda pack holder could use a better welded connection as two of four units came separated.

I’m assuming these must’ve been knocked around a little but I didn’t have time to replace them so I glued the trays and hammered out the dents to the best of my ability. Otherwise, the product is great.

I have used this product in the past and currently using it! The growth when using this product is amazing the flowering is quite enormous!

The product was old it should have been sold, fertilizer goes bad. Not Happy with the store that sold it!!!!!

I’ve had four installed throughout the house and garage and one outdoors (properly shielded from precipitation and direct sunlight). With these I now have complete temperature and humidity data every minute for two years.

None have failed. They are quite accurate and can even be calibrated. AA batteries last 4 to 6 months. This setup allows me to gather data from upstairs with downstairs, outdoors, and garage. Alerts can be set to warn of overly hot/cold or humid/dry conditions based on your settings.

Viewing the live data in the app, I can (manually) adjust the thermostat, switch fans on/off, know when to open/close windows, etc. With the downloaded data I can fine tune a plan to best manage the heat/AC over seasons to maximize efficiency, compare weather over multiple seasons or years, to determine garden planting, etc.

Together, this has proven to be an inexpensive and effective way to be aware of crucial data within the home as a living, breathing thing in the midst of it’s micro climate, and has been an invaluable tool.

The device’s screen shows current temperature/humidity and max/min for each, the latter of which is of limited use and must be explicitly reset (I believe: since I don’t need this function I haven’t looked into it).

The app has a dashboard that shows up to 6 devices simultaneously, which is extremely convenient. Each device can be independently named (i. e. Living Room, Study, Master Bedroom, Garage, etc. ), arranged at will, and displays temp, humidity, time of last update (live), approximate battery life remaining, and whether you are in Bluetooth range (which works reliably from anywhere in our home of 2600 sqft).

Press on any device in this dashboard and you get historical plots of temp and humidity over time (you can choose the scale granularity), and also provides a button to download a time range of data for that device (or all devices) as a CSV file (which can be imported into spreadsheets, etc).

With this data I can see how often the furnace or compressor turns on, for how long, and how efficiently it heats a room (useful for determining maintenance on those expensive systems). Devices are bluetooth only, so the app updates only when you are in your home, not remotely.

The WiFi version of this device (at higher cost) would be needed for that capability. Also, in my experience, the app only works on a single phone. All in all, an inexpensive and extremely useful tool.

I have 4 humidors with approximately $10,000 worth of cigars. I have been running this set up for over a year and other humidors for 10+ years. I purchased the govee hygrometers based off the amazon reviews.

They were calibrated when I first received them, or so I thought. I check them and keep an eye on my inventory regularly. They always “seemed” to be accurate. However, the last couple cigars I had I did not enjoy.

So, in doing some humidor maintenance I set everything out to figure out what was going on. I noticed the other hygrometers I have dropped in humidity. But the thing that really bothered me is that even after leaving the govees out for several hours they dropped very little in humidity.

In the humidors it is around 70% humidity. The room humidity is around 40%. However, the govee hygrometers read 66% which could be a low end of where to keep cigars. That is a huge problem. With around 1,000 cigars I trusted these to be accurate (+/-2).

But when 4 other hygrometers drop 25% and the govess only drop 3% that is a real problem and unacceptable. I assumed these were accurate and running properly. They were always reading 70-75%. But in taking them out, I now realized they don’t drop accurately.

In the mean time I purchased 4 new hygrometers. In the comparison picture you can see how horribly bad the govees are. I reached out to Govee and they would offer me a 10% discount on the purchase of new ones.

You can keep your $5 discount. I will not be trusting you again.

Bought three of them and they do just as i’d expected. Bluetooth feature is new to me and it’s useful to see how the temperatures are moving over time. Great little devices. Also, I had a small issue when ordering and it turned out to be my fault but customer services stayed with me till it was resolved.

So customer care is good too.

Our 30+ year old HVAC/Dehumidifier for our indoor pool failed. We were seeking a replacement and getting all kinds of different solutions. From $5-20K. Incredibly frustrating. After visiting with local HVAC, several pool companies, and a dehumidifier manufacturer, I was eventually directed to Doug at Sylvane.

This unit is incredible! Simply pulling water out of the air-have no doubt it will keep my plants from molding in flower. My humidity level is down now to under 50%. Seems to be running at a consistent rate-interested to see how this functions over time.

Nothing specific to the product as it has not been installed yet, but GrowLight Heaven is a delight to do business with. Their customer service is impeccable and their ability to respond and deliver timely is impressive.

We have always been able to rely on GrowLight with our commissioning needs over the last year.

No damage to box which was firmly strapped to pallet. Unpacking was easy. I added a 2 foot inline GFCI extension cord to the 6 ft power line, plug & go within minutes. Using for dehumidification of 24×26 ft garage where I have a 15×8 ft 2000 gal swim spa set at 91 degrees F.

Prior to dehumidifier relative humidity averaged 84% with pool cover off, & 69% when pool cover on (with garage exhaust fan running). Since setting up the Quest Hi-E Dry 120 & setting RR to 55%, RR stays 52-59% with pool cover on.

Taking cover off for a couple of hours to use pool RR jumps quickly to 84%, & back < 60% within 2 hours of replacing cover. Has not tripped the GFCI. Unit is very loud, so much so that I shut it off while using the pool, otherwise I can't hear the music I play during pool time.

Can also hear the unit a bit through the wall in adjoining bedroom, but that is muffled & no worse than hearing the HVAC running. There is a muffler kit available, but I’m content with my workarounds.

So the garage is now near bone-dry, & I no longer fear humidity & mold damage to my garage stored items or garage walls/ceiling. Added bonus is using the dehumidifier’s water discharge pumped directly into the pool via the long hose supplied with the unit, so I am continuously replacing the pool’s evaporated water loss.

As I expected, the unit runs a lot, but I’m hoping that at just 6 amps my next electric bill won’t upset me. For the winter the considerable hot air exhausted by the unit will help heat the garage making air temp more comfortable for pool time.

In hot weather just have to run pedestal fans & ceiling exhaust fan. Certainly cost more than I wanted to spend, but satisfied I got what I paid for & very happy with phone support not only from Sylvane but also directly from the manufacturer whom I reached out to with pre-purchase questions about technical support if anything were to go wrong down the line.

This is definitely NOT a disposable unit like dehumidifiers from the big box stores.

I found this dehumidifier from searching high and low for indoor pool room capable products. I was suspect, as the cost for the Sylvane unit was outstanding! I’ve been using for 6 mos now and have had 0 issues.

Works exactly as described. Room humidity is spot on and took very little effort to get it up and running. Also, had one minor service issue when received, pump bad. Called support line, new pump sent right away and they talked me thru replacement.

We purchased the unit to remove humidity from a cold room, about 1000 square feet by 14 foot ceilings. Previous equipment struggled to get the room down below 75%. After installation we used the unit preset of 50% and are getting 64% consistently.

We ran a separate line to outside for the unit to empty water. Has to pump H2O vertical about 6 feet to dump into new line running out of building. Handles this without any problem. Old equipment we were manually dumping 2-3 times per day because we could not pump vertical.

So far unit is working well against difficult pre-existing conditions. We consider this unit a great purchase so far.
