17 Best Hula Hoop For Kids (2023 Updated)

I love it so far. Im good at hula hooping and even i struggled for a day or two trying to keep it up. I used mine for 10 min the first day i got it so that is also another factor in why i was so sore after and then when I got in my bed but the soreness wore off in about two days and I was back at it again.

Im able to keep it up for more time than I use to be able to and i definately work up a sweat in those 5 min. I also have the warranty for my hoop just inncase anything happens and that was also cheap it just stinks that they dont cover the padding fo the hoop as well.

I have the ACL 5L 5 pound hoop and if your honestly not good at regular hula hooping I would start off with one a little lighter Its somewhat hard to detach as well and one of my hoop pieces doesnt connect.

When it falls WATCH OUT FOR YOUR FOOT because it does hurt a good amount if it hits it.

I bought this hula hoop to loose a few inches before my wedding day. The hula hoop is well made and it is quiet. I had some hula hoops in the past that would start making noise after certain time of using them.

I have been using it straight for one week 20 minutes as recommended on the package. I already can see the results. Will have to comment later about true quality as it is too early! But satisfied so far!.

I think this product is made well and came quickly however for me its far too big and clumsy. Its also too heavy for people who are just starting off. I wish I could have got one like my old one that you fill with water and not as thick and clumsy to work with.

I would recommend if you are use to hula hooping or workout already, I definitely would recommend to go smaller in size though.

The assembly was a little challenging since some of the holes did not align. My husband is very handy and he got frustrated trying to get the holes to line up. The strap is also very long, since it can be hung on a tree branch, but we are just hanging ours from our swing set.

It took a little time trying to figure out how to hang it safely on our play set. Other than that, our kids love it.

Girls are loving it! 12-yr. old acrobats are spending lots of time attached to a big shady tree. Holds their weight and activity just great. Ordering another one!

We built this five days ago when it was delivered. It took about 30 minutes to assemble. The hoop is made of metal and the seat and handles are plastic. The Hoopla can not be properly built without the seat or handles (we had hoped to not use the seat).

The hoop itself is maybe 2” thick. It is a bit oval in shape, longer than it is wide. The rigging is also very strong. My children have been using it every day. 100% recommended.

We use the hoops for adventure activities and games. They are far superior to their tubular cousins: stronger, never bend or break!

These are more like hard rings. They hurt when they are spinning around your waist as opposed to normal hula hoops.

The kids love these. They invented many difference uses (other than using them as a hula hoop). Watch the video and show the kids how to make a fort. The 36″ size is great for older teens and adults.

This is my new favorite hoop when doing cross stitch! I stitch a lot as I sell my patterns and completed stitchings. I’ve gone through so many hoops and this is by far THE BEST! There are grooves to hold your fabric in place instead of just the pressure of the hoops squeezing it.

No slipping! Love love love! I will only buy these types of hoops from now on!.

It is one of the best hoops I have used. I do punch embroidery and with other hoops the material is always slipping and I am tugging to keep the material tight. Not with this hoop maybe once or twice I tug to tighten material.

I went back to store and picked up another. Love it.

Love this hoop! The outer ring nestles inside the top and bottom edges of inner one and keeps work nice and secure. Even with my hamfisted cross-stitching, everything has stayed in place. The screw has a large head and is easy to grip and turn, and hasn’t loosened up.

Love it! It took me a bit to open it. Instructions were spot on, it was just me! But I got it open and went in the backyard and was able to keep it going around my waist for about 7-8 turns! That is a remarkable achievement for this 63-year-old who could never hoop before in her life! Yay! When I get decently proficient, I’ll be back for an LED one!.

It’s so pretty! I just got it today. Stretching it out to full size took a little bit of patience, but I got it in perfect order fairly quickly. I got the fitness style, and while it didn’t make hooping foolproof, it did make it easier.

Beautiful hoop! My daughter loves it and it’s a great weight/diameter for her as she’s still learning. Seller was very responsive when USPS was slow to deliver. Looking forward to ordering more hoops!

I ordered this a few weeks before christmas for my girlfriend. It arrived two weeks after christmas. Not a big deal as I was told it could arrive as late as literally the day it arrived. I charged it overnight and presented it to my girlfriend the next day, clicked it together and it lights up and shes in love with it! Then it just stops working.

The very next day. it occasionally lights up while its plugged in but the charger is green flashing red every few seconds. Not sure if there is a fault in the battery or what but I got 24 hours of praise and now disappointment.

Not sure how long the exchange will take as I ordered from america and now have to reship it back to the UK and hope I get a replacement in a timely manner. Not to be a bad review as my girlfriend LOVED it while it was working and it was honestly very cool while it was all lit up.

I received my Valo in Germany in the middle of September after only three weeks (shipping was incredibly fast, and three weeks was much less than I expected because I chose the slowest shipping option).

I think I’ve played with it every single day since I got it (unless I wasn’t at home D: ) and I’m still loving it so, SO much! It’s incredibly pretty, the LEDs are super bright and the colours are just so vivid.

Gave me a huge motivation boost to hoop more because it is soooo beautiful. It also survived some minor drops without any issues. 🙂 The programs are really beautiful too, I especially love the chasing rainbow and anything blue green teal-ish 😀 This hoop is a steal for its price, I can only recommend getting it! A tiny issue was that the hoop I first received had a single faulty LED that did not turn green – customer service was awesome and super fast and they immediately sent out a replacement that arrived in no time.

This hoop is superb! A real dream! I love to spin fire during winter but unfortunately cannot as I end up wreaking of kerosene and my 5 month old is not too keen on it during our night time feeds and cuddles so this hoop is absolute perfection! Even my 4 year old has a twirl.

We use these of course for hula hooping. I also use these for a tag game called “Pony Tag”. Bandit taggers tag with pool noodle sections. Cowboys/Cowgirls must rescue the tagged by placing a hula hoop over their head and let it drop to the ground.

I work with children doing creative movement and music. These hula hoops actually do what they are intended for, which is to allow the children to be successful and learn to hula hoop. Many other hula hoops don’t stay up when using them.

Great Value for our after school activities. Hold up well to being dragged on pavement, and intended use. We use them to mark boundaries, as throwing targets, team building and for general fitness

The soft rubber covering of the hoop started tearing and coming off within three days of using. It seems too easy to tear – so if the hoop touches nails while you hold / catch it, or if the hoop bangs into an object as you’re practicing, there are high chances the rubber will tear.

That’s not good, and spoils the whole experience. The product is good otherwise, and this was the hoop which gave us the “oh great, we can finally do the hoop” feeling. The 1. 4kg weight can make it hard on your waist / bones.

But it’s not too much of a problem.

I have been using it for almost a month daily 30mins. The first few times using it hurts a lot as not used to the weight and feels like something slamming on my hipbone & waist. But after the initial week, it seem my waist and hipbone got used to it and NO MORE pain now.

In fact, it feels soft and weightless now! It definitely tone my waistline! MY waist seems slimmer now. Do not give up! I know it hurts a lot at first but your body will get used to it!! Do not judge this product too soon!.

Little did I know that weighted hoops existed, all these years I have been practicing with athletic hoops (which are wonderful). This weighted one is amazing workout. Its sturdy yet smooth on your skin.

The product is great but the cost per bag is ridiculously over priced for what is in effect a multi buy box of crisps. Do the maths before you order. Given the volume then they should be around 2025p per pack.

Instead they work out over 50p. Im tempted just to send them back. I was expecting 48 packs not 24 for the price. Disgusting. Read the ad fully before buying.

I absolutely love Hula Hoops and so does my grandaugher. However, these had been squashed into the sections of the box. I could orderd these all the time ( if they where available) ,but this kind of spoilt the beauty of these wonderful ,tasty snacks.

These hula hoop rings are a lot of fun We purchased them before thanksgiving get together and Our grandkids from age 3-11 enjoyed them very much ! I highly recommend them !

5 and 6 year olds had great fun with this. We even used it in the pool. Great for outdoors but could be used indoors too.

Rings are bigger than some other ring toss games I looked at which I like. Seems well made and I think it will last a good long while. So far grandkids are having fun with it.

This is a great product if you are already physically fit. It weighs 3 lbs and it can be difficult and hard to maneuver if you just starting an exercise program. I would suggest the 1-1/2 lb hoop to start with.

The hoop is comfortable and made of sturdy material. It sure gives you a work out. Well worth the price.

Purchased to give the kids something else to do in quarantine. Great alternative to a skipping rope. Harder than some make it look to get started, most suitable for 8+ I would say. Very sturdy and needs to be as it spends more time on the ground.

Ordered online as not available in store. Postage took longer than usual although no reflection on Rebel, just Covid slowness. Good experience.

Good fun activity for outdoors to improve co-ordination and fitness. My daughter really enjoys it – she got her first one two years ago and it finally broke (sun damage to the plastic as it was kept outdoors), and she immediately asked for another for her 9th birthday because it is one of those toys she keeps going back to for hours.

We did have to check some you-tube videos to work out how to use it at first, and it takes a bit to get the co-ordination going so she also had a good feeling of accomplishment when she mastered it. It seems to take just enough co-ordination to not get boring but she can get into a good ‘in the zone’ rhythm with it.

We bought one for each of 2 10 year old girls. Of all their Christmas gifts this was the first one they took outside to try. They persevered with a little difficulty. We tied a knot in the cord to shorten it.

They then mastered it very quickly and loved it. It was great to see them physically involved. It was a sure fire hit as a gift.

This product is made to last and get beat up by kids. However the rings are actually the size of a mini pie. We used it as a game for our sons party but it is a fun family game overall.

Received today. Was undecided to buy as i cant hoop to save my life. but i think with it being weighted it helps, as i can do it! Nearly bought a more expensive one-no need as this is good quality, sterdy,& foam covered.

Only 5ft4 but used all the links after watching a video online stating it should be up to your waist in height. It looks huge, but its perfect! Love it! Thanks.

First timer with the hoolahoop and I have mot madtered it yet but I will. Bigger than I thought it would be. Very easy to put together and dismantle.
