20 Best Hot Tubs For Arthritis (2023 Updated)

I have always loved hot tubs but they are so expensive, plus you have to pay for the electrical work. When I found out that there were inflatable hot tubs that plug into regular outlets from I knew I needed to try it out and see what the hype was all about.

It was so easy to assemble and I was so impressed with how rigid it was. It only took 24 hours for the water to come to temperature and we have used it almost every day since we have set it up! I love that it plugs into a regular outlet, fits our entire family, has safety clips for the cover that my kids can’t undo, has a cushioned floor to sit on so it doesn’t feel like you’re sitting on concrete, and that it has been super easy to keep clean and maintain.

One piece of the hot tub came defective and I filled out a warranty request online which was super easy and they had the new piece to my house, no questions asked, within 5 days of filling out the request! I was super impressed! We have loved sharing it with our friends and family and we can’t wait to use it all winter long! If you’ve always wanted a hot tub but didn’t want to spend thousands on one and have to pay to upgrade your electrical, this is the way to go! For $415 this is 100% worth the money!!! It comes with everything you need to get it up and running except the chemicals.

I can’t recommend this enough.

This is so well-designed and much more spacious than I thought it would be! Perfect for two adults. Strong, churning action. Plenty of heat. Easy to set up. Inflates itself in less than 5 minutes. Comes with an attachment that allows it to deflate itself as well, for storage.

Bottom is padded for comfort (does not inflate). Ingenious inflatable cover is held tight with strong clips. Once filled with cold tap water, takes about 30 hours to heat up to 104 degrees, depending on the outside temperature.

Got this one specifically because it has a feature called “Freeze Shield” that automatically protects it when outside temperatures drop. Apparently you can operate this in weather down to 14 degrees.

A lot of these types of spas don’t work in cold weather. Really nice touch-sensitive controls (not those cheap controls with a layer of thin hard plastic over buttons that eventually punch through). Works with wet fingers and literally requires touch, NOT pressure.

Built-in timer lets you program downtime to save energy. Filter pump is relatively quiet. Instructions could be better, but all the info is there. It’s just not organized or illustrated very well. Tiny, tiny line drawings you may need to magnify to make any sense of them (it’s like they shrunk down instructions originally designed for a much larger print format).

You’ll need to buy maintenance gear: test kit, chemicals (one small chlorine tab was more than enough to treat the 177 gallons) and more filters (2 were included), plus a skimmer and a vac of some kind.

If you have a small pool, you’ll already have those things. If not, plan to spend another hundred bucks. Luckily, this spa is so affordable, the money you save vs. other spas will more than cover your supplies, many times over.

If you’ve been thinking about one of these, do not hesitate. You will love it.

I have always wanted a hot tub at home but never thought it would happen! I love the Coleman AirJet Tahiti Plus for the following reasons: It’s portable. Don’t like the location on the deck or in a back yard? I can move it.

Want to take it camping? An inflatable hot tub can go along for the ride and be used on site. Easy to set up. I did not have to hire anyone to set up the Coleman SaluSpa Tahiti Plus Hot Tub. My husband and I were able to read the instructions and set the hot tub up on our own.

Size. Inflatable hot tubs come in a variety of sizes, and we were able to find one large enough for our family or for entertaining. Good entry-level price point. With the average price of traditional hot tubs being in the thousands, an inflatable hot tub is a great price for someone trying out a hot tub.

Easy to determine chemicals. We have never owned a hot tub or a pool. Using pool chemicals seemed overwhelming at first, but the Coleman SaluSpa Tahiti Plus Hot Tub manual and a brief Google research session helped me with everything I needed to keep our hot tub water clean.

WaveSpa? Where are you?Sad to say I am not receiving feedback in a timely manner. I have put in requests for a return and my window of opportunity to return this product is quickly closing. Is this stall tactic by design? Kind of like the deceptive advertising on the website? Giving the “deflated” size first for a hot tub cover, Then I get the cover and it’s way too small when it is blown up!? Who cares about the deflated size of your cover? Why are you even putting that in the description?? If anything you should list the inflated size first, pathetic.

Few like this is by design too. And now, no feedback as to whether or not I can return the item. Weak. Will not use this company again. Do not recommend.

I purchased the entry level hot tub ‘ Atlantic, I have been then amazed at the quality. The tub is black with a silver lining , a good depth and has a click lock cover, the added ground sheet was a bonus.

It’s fair to say it was up for 3 months inside a portable shelter, so this kept a pretty decent temperature. I’d leave on approx 32 c and as I personally like it hot , increase to 38-9c for late evening spa sessions.

Superb value for money. I was pleasantly surprised at the easy set up and deflation. If I could offer anything to better the purchase , perhaps a storage bag could be included. I did manage to get mine back in the box after folding and putting it firstly into an old duvet cover.

This helped to further fold so I could store it over winter in original box.

I hovered between 2-3 stars. However, it is closer to 3 so thats why. Anyway, my reasons are simple. The tub i ordered was brown rattan, the one i received was grey. It states 2-4 people. I would state quite categorically that you cannot get 4 adults in there unless you have your knees to your chest.

(Which when you want to relax isnt what you want). I bought this for my wife and I as she suffers from fibromyalgia whilst my condition is that of degenerative discs. I can state its easy to assemble and maintain.

It fits us both in comfortably which, is why i bought it. I also bought 2 headrest, 2 seats and a drinks tray. We only use the drinks tray as the pillows keep falling off and the seats wont stick very well.

As a comparison to a Lazyzee spa tub tub i had 10 years ago i would say this one is lacking but, you get what you pay for and whilst this was a budget tub, i feel my next one will be a lazyzee spa.

This spa was so much nicer than I expected. We wanted a small one just for the health benefits. This was the perfect size to tuck in the garage. To our surprise, the jets are no joke. The cover is substantial and really helps maintain the heat.

I am 100% addicted. Our only issue is the access door which makes access near impossible. 7 very deeply countersunk wonky screws. 2 of them weren’t attached to anything, 2 others were so crooked it took forever to get them out.

Really????????? We have to come up with a fix for that but, right now, we’re too busy relaxing in this otherwise stellar spa!.

We could not be happier with our purchase! Not only that it arrived way earlier then initially thought it would but the entire process was very easy. Delivery team was great and very helpful! We had no issues with them whatsoever! They called the day before and arranged the time that worked for us.

They even put it close to pad where the tub will be installed. Over all we are very happy with our purchase. This is our first hot tub and so far very good.

Very happy with this. everything works as it should. As long as you actually read the description and know what you’re getting, I don’t think you’ll have an issue. Read and know it’s curbside. If you complain about that, it’s your own fault.

Read the correct number of jets. If you’re spending thousands, at least do your research and know what you’re actually buying.

Very pleased with this hot tub. Delivery is exactly as they say. I got exactly what I ordered. No surprises. Got it set up and it works perfectly. No damage, leaks, nothing. It heats up really fast and I was actually using it a few hours after setting it up.

I’ve had it 2 weeks now without any issues. Very pleased. 5/5.

I bought this last week and it arrived yesterday. I was very excited and invited my friend over before I even opened the box. Opened it up and started the set up process. the instructions are wordless pictures with very low detail so it’s just a guessing game unless you look up videos but then it was without talking and subs were in a different language.

After awhile I figured out the process and got the “spa” inflated and that’s when it got really bad. The connections from “spa” to heater are abput 2 inch long stiff hoses that are not in line with the very short connection points on the heater.

Had to pick up sections of the heater and find the proper angle while also trying to screw them together. It became a 2 person job and needless to say I was embarrassed when she had to help set up the “spa” hours after I told her it would be setup and ready by.

To top that off it’s somehow even smaller then the pictures used to market it. I might reach out to customer service and see what they say buy more like I’ll just return it and know never to buy anything from this company again.

Will update if I talk to customer service.

This is the 2nd one of these ive bought, i love em! replaced original one bc of my own fault- not the item itself (cat poked holes in with her claws). its cheap enough that i just bought a new one! its perfect for 2 normal sized adults.

Heats up to ab 104°F. the “jets” are just bubbles blowing around edges but still relaxing. it takes only mins to set up. Pump blows it up for you, comes with a few filters which is great! I’ve NEVER HAD any problems keeping the water chemicals right.

Ive had my original one for 3yr and this NEW one for a month. the old motor still works GREAT! ONLY REASON i replaced the whole thing was my cat poked some holes in the original one, and its cheap enough i just bought a new one.

The camo design im NOT a fan of but thats not a big deal to me. During Winter months, we use this hot tub 5-6 days a week. the Heat relaxes you, soothes your sore muscles or cramping. i perosnally use bromine tablets in it not chlorine, mainly bc its inside my home- not outside, so chlorine smell could be too much.

keeping the lid on and locked when not in use keeps the temp up there. soon as you take the lid off the 104 temp drops a few. if you use bubbles, it will also drop. would i recommend this, yes absolutely! its made well.

does what you want/need it to do. my nieces and nephews LOVE playing in it when they visit. i do shock it once a week! and clean the filter weekly, replacing it once a month.

Good heat and bubbles work great. Would be better if it would hold air. I haven’t had it a week yet and already had to add air to the tub and cover. TWICE. I checked to make sure the valve is in tight and the inlet is completely closed on the lid.

It wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to completely disconnect the pump from the tub to add air. The top is halfway flat after 2 days and I can push down on the tub wall with little effort. The timer was a good idea, but a HVAC style schedule would be so much easier than counting hours from whatever time you actually remember to set the timer.

I can live with the weird timer and the tub works great. when it has air.

Spa arrived 2 days early, With packaging in good condition. Once unpacked it was only 20 setup. It took longer to fill it with water. I think I would have added some hot water, To speed up the ready time of 102゚.

But even with tap water it still only took 12 hours to be up to a 102゚ and ready to enjoy. I love all the features. I can turn the heater on and off as I want. the bubbler is fantastic. We turn the heater on for about 2 hours in the evening before we get in, then cover it and it’s still a good temperature to get in in the morning (100) without having to run the heater all night.

then we use no heater and it stays cool enough to get in during the day (96/98). The pump and heater are very efficient with the quality cover that they have included, that is almost airtight. with plenty of cinchdown double safety snap securing buckles.

We have had other inflatables and this is far superior to anything else we have owned. We will definitely be looking at other Coleman products in the near future. thank you for a quality product and Walmart for fast service.

I like the easy set up and how the pump is built into the side of the spa. Most other spa’s have a pump/heater that attaches to the outside. It took about 2 days to heat up the water when I first filled it, just a fyi.

The filter has a reset/cleaning reminder at 100hrs of use and shuts the spa down and the heater. Make sure to check it every few days. I love how the heater is automatic and will hold your temp, most other inflatable spas wont do that.

The bubbles work great but shut off after 20 minutes and you have to wait 10 minutes before the timer will allow you to turn then back on. Wish the bubbles would work for longer times. I am very happy with the spa and even with a few learning curves is well worth the money.

Note: I put my spa on my cement patio and purchased some anti fatigue foam mats that I put under the spa which helps with insulation and makes sitting down more comfortable.

So far so good. Took less than 24 hours to bring 47F well water up to 101F. Bubbles were much more powerful than expected. As expected our screen porch concrete floor is slanted away from the building for drainage and that does make the spa a bit unlevelled.

However, it does not affect operation. As previously reviewed the instructions are not clear on how to inflate so YouTube is your friend. We’ll see how it lasts. We will spring for a real spa if this one gets enough use, but at this price point it’s great to test for site and desired features.

I was very skeptical about this product due to buying other inflatable items, however this company and hot tub are Legit! I set it up seriously in like 5 minutes. Im not the most “handy” person in the world, it was that easy.

Exactly like the you tube video shows. Im figuring out the heating part because I didn’t realize it takes a long time to heat. the company is extremely nice and helpful for questions or issues. I’ll write a second review with pictures once it’s heated and I’ve used it so the readers have more info.

So far so AMAZING!.

The cover is dreadful to get on and off – need either 6 hands or an implement to push the one button while pushing the wings to open AND apart from not being easy to use they break. The straps don’t last very long.

Cover is useless when it rains causing water to pool and force the spa to bow out. Filter would not seem to be effective for the size of the spa. Instructions are very poor if you have a problem, can’t use a timer for overnight heating/filtration as reset button means it trips every time power is off and then turned back on.

The size doesn’t add up. Interior height is taller than the height, so it’s “taller on the inside than outside” and the depth is 5ft, so the water rises up 3 ft over the height of the Length 5ft Width 5ft, hot tub.

We swapped from a Lazy spa as wanted a smaller hot tub for the space we had. This is easily as good quality but easier to put together and the control panel being on the side is tidier and so much easier to control when in the tub.

Size wise we had three adults in there comfortably but that would be it. Good value for money product. Easily as nice as the lazyspa, nicer feel to the materials used and looks sleeker. Cant speak for how long it takes to heat as we always empty and refill with hot water! Very happy with it as a buy.

If I had to be picky I would say the only down side is that the floor isn’t inflatable as we have been used to but simply solved with some matting (stable matting we used) and its perfectly comfortable and protected.

We were so excited to get this hot tub, I am absolutely shocked that QVC is selling this with the non-existent directions. If somebody did not have access to the internet to look up multiple YouTube videos to see how to use this I mean everything from setting it up to using the controls to how to manage keeping the water clean, There is nothing nothing in this box that would possibly help you.

So if you are good at researching things on YouTube then go for it. We’ve only had this for about a month and a half so I cannot speak to its longevity but so far after umpteen hours of research it works well.

It is much larger than I expected. Did follow what one of the YouTube presenters suggested and bought a foam mat to go underneath it, It does make it more comfortable to sit in and protects it. It does have to be occasionally filled up with air which was concerning and surprising at first but I believe we’ve added extra air Twice in the last month and a half.

Buy extra filters on Amazon or pool store. Do not count on he chlorine or bromine dispenser provided to give you enough coverage. I use a small floating bromine dispenser. When you watch the YouTube videos, They will explain how to take care of this.

The one I really recommend is the Englishman He has this exact hot tub The only thing you have to do is account for how many gallons of water are in the pool, 310, instead of liters. And account for measurements of product in metric instead of US standard measurements.

But that’s easy enough to do Just don’t think that you’re going to get out of this without a lot of work on your side as far as learning goes. When we watched the videos it’s not difficult to put together or maintain.

There is a little learning curve. But that being said our family loves it. I Don’t think I would put any more than four adults in it Even though it says It will fit more unless everybody wants to sit cross-legged.

We have placed our hot tub about 230′ from our home, in a location surrounded by trees. Yes, we’re currently hooked up with extension cords, but since we love the location we will “hard wire” the spa with its own dedicated breaker and buried line.

BE SURE that your spa is both grounded AND bonded! Yes, there’s a lot of research involved with this product (no directions, etc. ) but it has been a dream to use: looking up to the sky and watching the eagles gliding on the wind, or seeing the lightning bugs if we’re out there in the evening.

so peaceful! We change our filter every single time we use it, which takes only 30 seconds. I wash the filters at my kitchen sink with an old toothbrush, no soap. The little bit of bromine we need, along with pH decrease has been far friendlier to my skin than I thought it would be— there’s barely any chlorine smell at all–we’re testing the water every third day or so.

We are comfortable with just two adults and a child. Four adults would have to sit cross-legged to avoid touching legs and feet. The “bubbles” feature is actually outdoor air being pumped into the water, so of course the temperature will drop.

Ours drops only 2 degrees, even if we run the bubbles continuously for a couple of hours. The bubbles splash a bit and that’s usually enough to chase away any bees or mosquitoes. We built up a platform of sand and laid down a tarp for our spa to sit on.

As for additional air, we’ve only added more air once–when we dumped the water (a failed attempt to use pool salt without a necessary ionization machine–Live and Learn!) This review is based on only 8 weeks of use– So Far, So Good!!!.

Now admittedly this is the first inflatable hot tub I’ve owned. It’s been setup for about 6-7 days now. Now the pros and cons Pros: I needed it big enough to fit the whole family (5 people, and it does.

For an inflatable it’s durable and included a nice half inflatable cover that straps down. Cons: I plugged it in and heated it for 3 days. It only reached 99 degrees. We finally got tired of waiting on it and got it.

We got in during the day when it was mid to high 60s outside. Within an hour the water temp had fallen from 99 to 93. Fast forward a day later and it had only reached 99 again. This time we got in at night when it was colder outside.

Got in at 99 and the temp fell all the way to 90 in an hour. The next day I went out to check on it hoping it had finally heated up and someone had turned my power strip off. Turned it back on and the water temp was 72 degrees.

So I kicked it back on and a day later it’s at 90 degrees. I’ve had it setup 6 days heating and it hasn’t reached over 99 degrees. Every day it’s been in the 60s or higher. I will honestly be surprised if it ever hits 100 let alone 104.

The heating element is absolute garbage. If this thing actually heated up then it would be awesome. But it just doesn’t. And once it heats the little bit that it does, it quickly loses heat and gets cold when the cover comes off.

They need to put a better heating element in the tub or even double elements of the one that’s in it. As it stands I would not buy this again and I would not recommend it to anyone either. I paid $750 for a warm tub that blows cold bubbles with cold air when I thought I was buying a hot tub.

If the whole purpose of it doesn’t work then it’s Junk. Maybe change the name description from heated hot tub to Luke warm mini swimming pool. Not a fan.

I have had a hot tube now for over 5 years so when it broke replacing it with a better and sturdier tub at the right price was a must. The last tub had a skirt and inner. This tub is just one robust piece, you can feel the thickness and quality straight away.

I look the outer ” basket” pattern that people think it genuine. To be fair it went up exactly the same as my last one so took me minutes to get working. 2 small things to watch out for 1. The caps and filter stored in the back of “the egg” threw me (we don’t all read destructions before attacking) 2.

No inflatable like, had to buy separate (which I strongly suggest you do) it takes the weight off the cover if it rains, it also heats up faster and I lay on mine in the pool on hot days, feels like on holiday and I can splash myself to keep cool (luckily I kept my old one and it fitted) You just feel relaxed and somebody sat in your pool just for an hour, you can be on holiday or won the lottery.

This pool is quality, its cheaper in price (not standard) than many others. I would and will buy again from WAVE it was fast delivery too. You get videos to look at the pool before buying. treat yourself I did and havnt been out of my pool.

9am or 9pm there is no time limit to enjoy a soak with your partner or family. Heat maintenance is great, cleaning is up to your hygiene levels, texture of tub is great, bubbles at just the right speed ! 🙂 Overall great purchase.

It was easy to set up however I bought this because it stated it came with LED Lights that way at night we could see the hot tub when we lounge in it. This hot tube did not come LED Light strips like it stated in the features to this product.

Other wise supper happy about the hot tub as I ordered the 6 person and did get that size. Its a great product however I wanted light to it. so very upset about that part.

Wasn’t sure at first, but so glad I brought it. Easy to set up and work. Quality is excellent for the price and the massage is really good. I thought it would cost more to run but it’s not to bad. I would recommend it and would defiantly buy again.

Once we get in so relaxing. Find it difficult to get in and out Senior Citizens. But keeping on using it is getting easier Does do good though. Would recommend.

This was so easy to erect and all the instructions were good to follow. The quality is A1 and will last for years, and the controls are very easy to understand and follow. Now it’s up we are enjoying this very roomy jacuzzi it is so relaxing and soon relieves all those aches and pains, and stress from work.

Well worth the cost, and is good value for the money. Looking forward to those long summer evenings with a glass of wine and a good soak.

We watched a lot of youtube videos on the Lifesmart Coronado which is basically the same hot tub but only has one pump and fewer jets. We bought this from Sams on sale and are super happy with it. The hot tub arrived two weeks ahead of the schedule date, everything was communicated and scheduled online.

The delivery company was awesome and moved the pallet to the edge of my driveway next to our grass. The hot tub came completely wrapped in plastic, so me and two friends slid it off the pallet onto a moving blanket on the grass keeping it vertical like it came on the pallet.

I pulled/steered while my two friends pushed. It was a breeze to slide across our grass and slid it onto another moving blanket on our concrete patio to slide it in place. Super easy! The electrician wired everything up which took him under twenty minutes.

We absolutely love it. The surface isn’t as smooth as acrylic but not as rough as other reviews made it out to be. The jets are very powerful. We fit four adults comfortably, could fit more but you’d be rubbing legs for sure.

Bought this model in May, came end of July but the shipping company didn’t have tub secured and was found sideways sitting on a couple floor jacks in semi. Not the companies fault but didn’t sign for it not knowing what damage was done.

Received new tub that wasn’t bouncing around in semi and looked like the shipper was much more careful this time! Too another couple weeks. We used to have an acrylic tub and this one has a rougher texture which I don’t might, but sediment and foaming like crazy.

There is a ring around the tub that I wipe out frequently but still stained it appears. This is our first fill. And not sure why we can’t get the chemical balance right, wasn’t an issue with last tub.

I will be taking water sample to local hot tub store to see if we can figure out why it’s foaming so much and see why we can’t achieve balance with pH, hardness, etc. also, the cover definitely is not gonna hold up to winter use in wisconsin, so I’m planning on getting a heavier cover for it as well.

No leaks, was easy to hook up. Jets are awesome! Love the light colors and water fall! Just a couple issues as above.

Bottom line is the that this tub is excellent at the $3500 range we paid for it. If it is not on sale or clearance, wait until it is. Very powerful and just enough features. 34” is more than deep enough unless you are very tall (my husband is 6’3”).

The comparisons of the surface to sand paper are ridiculous and just inaccurate. The surface is TEXTURED to prevent you from slipping. The “gritty” feel is a little aggressive/rough initially but wears down after time.

The slip resistant feature is a GREAT BONUS (google slip, trips and falls in spas/hot tubs if you do not believe me). Be prepared to place the tub where you want as it is delivered curbside strapped vertically to a pallet.

We were able to pull it around our yard to the backyard using a hand jack. This is definetly not a high end tub with all the extras but is powerful and reliable purchase. It is the Toyota Camry of the Hot Tub world.

If you want a Mercedes equivalent, go to your local Pool & Spa wholesaler.

This hot tub has been a total nightmare at times. We ordered it to arrive right before Christmas. Still lots of winter months left to enjoy the hot tub. When it didn’t arrive or have accurate shipping updates, I reached out to Sam’s Club.

They had given the local delivery company the wrong phone number so it had been sitting there. Sam’s Club was awesome and gave us a 10% refund for the extra wait. But then the real issues started. We attempted to fill and heat the hot tub.

We woke up the next morning to a flipped breaker and a freezing cold hot tub. We called our electrician, who came out and determined the electrical board in the hot tub was bad. Hot tub company sent a new one, and a local technician came out and installed it.

During the wait, since temperatures were sub-zero here in Iowa, we had to purchase two small space heaters and have them running non-stop inside the bottom part of the hot tub to make sure nothing froze.

Once he installed the new part, we attempted to fill and heat the hot tub again, only to have a similar issue! The tech came back out and determined that the main pump was bad. Part ordered and installed.

FINALLY, a month and a half after receiving our hot tub, we finally got to use it. Approximately a month later, the other pump seems to have gone bad. We are waiting for the tech to come out and diagnose this issue, but here we are, two months in, with our third bad part.

Overall, the company has been good to work with, but we missed out on all that time during the time of year when we most wanted to enjoy the hot tub. It has been VERY disappointing and if I had known this about this hot tub before purchasing, I would have found a different one.

The hot tub company is reimbursing us for the two space heaters we purchased, but is refusing to reimburse our electric bill for that month when our usage was up 120% over the same month last year (clearly due to having two space heaters running 24/7).

For the short time that the hot tub has worked properly, we have enjoyed it a lot. The speakers, built in steps, and towel rack are nice features, but I absolutely would not recommend this giant headache!!!.

Great looking sturdy tub. Love the amount of jets, size, lounger and neck massagers. Very nice tub for the money compared to others priced out at local Spa stores. Of course, you’ll need to pay someone to install or do it yourself like we did.

Only disappointment at this point is: Even though I gave it a 4 star rating, I was very disappointed with lack of insulation in walls. In description of tub, the walls and base said they were filled with foam to provide a 2″ insulation barrier around tub.

This was a big selling point for me as we live in Maine and winters can be very cold. This also sounded like it would be much easier to work on piping and pump in future if needed. A lot of tubs have the piping sprayed with foam insulation that would need to be cut out if ever needing to work on.

When drilling through lower center side wall, on access panel side, to run electrical wire to connection point, this section had NO insulation at all. Also when looking at inside corners, there are several 1″ drilled holes showing inside of corners and none had insulation in them.

Makes me believe the rest of the walls and possibly floor have no insulation also. Worried about extra cost of electricity to heat because of this.

We have had nothing but PROBLEMS with this tub. First the manifold separated due to the manufacturer not properly joining the pipe resulting in quick full discharge off all the water in the middle of the winter.

Then two additional leaking problems resulting in non-stop babysitting of the tub to make certain it has enough water. The bluetooth speakers do not work at all. The exteriors of five of the six removable panels have spray foam on the exterior.

Spray foam is used on the interior. The installer was sloppy – he/she probably had foam on their gloves and transfered it to the panels when installing. When you use the towel warmer the action of opening and closing rubs on a jet – a design flaw that will likely manifest itself on your spa after the waranty period.

Oh, by the way, the manufacturer starts the warranty period when you buy this from Sams – not when itis delivered. So if you have to wait a few months to recieve, then you just lost two months of warranty.

Suprise!.

A neighbor had teased about getting one of these inflatable spas for the summer, and just keeping it set to a cool temperature, when at the height of the pandemic and no pools could be found anywhere.

That got me casually browsing for an inflatable spa for the next couple months, but most of these were around $600. I kept watching the prices, reading the reviews (which were shockingly all very positive), and then this one went on sale for about $350 and DiscoverMyStore offered payments over time.

OMG, how could one not spring for it in that scenario?! I figured heck, even if it lasted 3 months, that would be about $100 per month for seasonal fun. WOW have I ever gotten my money’s worth! This is the coolest (well, hottest) thing I have ever spent some discretionary funds on! I honestly feel like some of my friends who spent thousands of dollars on a regular spa got chumped.

But, I also realize that the tradeoff is that this spa is not solid-sided or insulated, and likely won’t keep its heat in the dead of winter. But heck, who REALLY wants to be trapesing out in the snow in the dead of winter to get into a spa, anyway? That’s what indoor ones are for, in my mind (And no, I would definitely NOT recommend using this, or any other portable spa, indoors! You’d get lots of water from your feet and swimsuit on the floors, bromine fumes in the air, and potentially mildew in your room without proper ventilation!).

And, here in Chicago, we get massive snow falls, and I don’t plan on shoveling a path on my deck to this sucker. So, it will be enjoyed from summer through late fall, at which point I will drain it,.

dry it out, and store it for the winter. A lot of people are complaining about delivery dates in the reviews, which is a bit inane, in my opinion. It’s like the people who complain about receiving damaged items.

Sorry, but issues with shipping carriers and logistics are not product-related. Keep your reviews related to product features and customer service! If you place an order, and then you get word that the product is not going to arrive on time due to a delay, cancel the order.

It’s your prerogative. I got lucky, in that I placed my order at the beginning of August and it arrived within a couple of days. It all depends on manufacturer output and local availability at the time you order! Keep checking!As far as product features go, again, this is really cool for the money.

Watch a YouTube video on how to use the blower to properly inflate it, be extremely careful with all the parts, since they are plastic, and you probably should use plumber’s tape like I did on the connections for a bit of extra watertight security (No, do NOT use permanent pipe adhesive!).

This particular two-person model fills extremely fast with good hose pressure. Mine was up to the minimum line in about 45 minutes. If you have good local water quality, like I seem to have here in the Chicago area (Lake Michigan water), your water should be almost the ideal chemistry level to start with.

Remember, it always revolves around PH levels! I used to sell pools and spas as a teenager, and if your PH levels are not in line, nothing else will be! If you do start buying chemicals for this, make sure your PH is balanced (using small amounts of PH up or down) first, before messing with anything else.

Definitely invest in a small bottle of test strips from a local pool company. Always keep the spa covered (for safety, water chemistry, and heat-retention) and note that if rain water ever gets into your spa, it’s going to throw off your water chemistry.

Invest in a cheap (sub $10) floater for this and don’t put more than two bromine tablets at a time in it. That, coupled with about two bromine tablets in the built-in dispenser seem to keep my bromine levels perfect and sanitary in this.

I replace the cartridge filter upon draining and refilling every two months. Just my own sanitary preference. Regarding heating, when starting from hose temperature water in August or September in the Midwest, it takes about 6 to 8 hours in summer or fall weather to get up to the max.

104 degrees. I typically keep the filter on 24/7 for sanitation reasons, but turn the heater off over night to save energy. Since I work from home, I go down at noon to turn the heater on, and by the time I am ready to use it after dinner, it’s already at 104 degrees – every time! Keep that top on when heating it so ambient air does not battle the heater and nothing is escaping! The lid is your friend.

Related to actual use, it’s so, so, so flippin’ cool for the money! The jets are amazing! Powerful, even, and really makes you feel like you’re in a several thousand dollar spa when in this thing. Every time myself and some friends are in it, we talk about how we can’t believe it was only $350.

The 104 max temperature feels amazing, and usually lasts for about the first 30-minute jet cycle. The only drawback to this, is that the air being circulated for the jets is not heated. So, when you’re in it, and the jets are running, you can reach down and feel almost cool air coming out.

So, that tends to lower the temperature, which you can see on the amazingly accurate digital display. In my experience, in summer and fall Midwest ambient air, it looses about 2 degrees in water temperature for every 30 minute cycle you are using it.

So, by the time we get out after about 1. 5 glorious hours, it’s down to about 98 degrees. That’s not bad at all!I invested in a circular foam base for this spa, but honestly, the stock bottom of it was so comfortable on the deck, I almost didn’t need it.

I do hope that the foam base provides a little extra insulation as the fall gets colder, though, for heat retention. Will this put powerful jets on the muscle areas that you need therapy most? No. Will it stay hot and satisfying all winter long in the Midwest or up North? Probably not (but I don’t know for sure!).

Will it take up a small amount of space, be easy to maintain, fill quickly, heat quickly, and provide you with hours of fun? ABSOLUTELY! Even if after I drain this in late fall and pack it away, should it not fire up again next summer for any reason, I would gladly just buy another one in a heartbeat.

One of these purchased every year beats $8k to $10k for a regular spa prone to lots of maintenance issues any day!.

The first thing to know is that your owners manual will have multiple models, know your model and understand the icons. Second, have workarounds ready. The pump/heater was supposed to be used to fill up the hot tub with hot air, but that function did not work on ours at all.

Thankfully we have many types of pumps, and even though you aren’t supposed to use them per the manual, if you understand pumps and air-compressors, you’ll be fine. Turns a ‘5 min’ job into a 15 sec job.

We kept the tub inside our house for a few days to let it get nice and warm, unpacked. (as you can already see, this is a multi-day job if you want the best results for your tub). Third, understand your terrain.

We had to add sand to our back patio slab to make sure the tub would be on an even surface. We also bought a nice portable gazebo for yucky nights. There are no seats in the tub, but the bottom has a nice enough cushion.

Two people can spread out super great with the Hawaii model. 3 ppl would be fine, with 4 it will be one person per corner. 5 people, you’ll have to sit alternating butt to foot if that makes ***. or something similar.

I can’t possibly see it holding 6 ppl comfortably, unless they are shorter (like us lol). We used it the first time last night, temp held steady at 104 until we turned the bubbles on, then it dropped 2 degrees and held there fine.

it was COLD last night so we were happy with the results. Buy the tablets, or shock or use chlorine, so you can keep the water going longer. We keep it on 24/7, using the cover, which works great. We don’t expect a big power bill off this.

and worth it if it goes up 20+ bucks. All in all a great, inexpensive option if you just have to have a hot tub lol. Set it up right the first time and you’ll be fine! 4 stars for a lousy inflate start up.

I am completely satisfied with my Canadian Spa Co St Lawrence purchase. Walmart’s price was $$ less than other outlets- although I’ve seen the price varies considerably on Walmart. com- so make sure it is close to $16,000.

Delivery with Walmart was ok- just took a month or two to be delivered. I did have to put in a concrete slab and had a crane install it. For me that was another $1500, plus another $850 for electric.

Now that it’s in- it’s like a dream. I can fully swim in it- I am 5″7″. My nephews who are 6 and 10 are over the moon– they especially love the lights and waterfalls at night. The quality is good and customer service is responsive.

Just keep in mind that the cover is heavy and you will need to find a way to deal with that. It’s a big leap of faith- given the cost- to buy online- but it is excellent value and I couldn’t be happier.

So far so good – high quality spa. Although you can run it off 110 plug, we did convert it to 220. Super easy to convert – just flip 1 dip switch and remove one wire. Nothing else needed. Instructions on manufacturer website.

I brought this in September last year and it is amazing. We enjoyed getting in throughout the winter and are now enjoying the summer sun. It looks amazing in our garden and we are very happy with the swim spa.

We ordered a hot tub from a different supplier and was fobbed off for over 6 months with different delivery dates every time we called them. Eventually we asked for a refund and ordered a Toronto from b and q.

The order was then passed immediately to Canada spa, who contacted me within 48 hours. They were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The hot tub was delivered 5 days after ordering. I couldn’t believe it after waiting over 6 months.

Gary the delivery guy turned up with his mate and again, they couldn’t do enough for us. What a service!!! The hot tub itself is absolutely outstanding, we as a family, absolutely love it. I didn’t want to leave a review until I knew it was a good product.

We as family absolutely love it. I’m a stickler for quality and this is quality! I would happily recommend Canada spa and the Toronto to anyone. Fantastic service from b and q, even more so from Canada Spa and Gary.

I did a lot of research over the last year, to decide if buying this hot tub was the right thing to do, and in the process asked numerous questions via email to Xavier at Canadian Spa, who is very knowledgeable and gave me excellent and rapid support, even on a bank holiday.

I then ordered it via the Weston branch of B&Q where Jane was very helpful, and the order was quickly acknowledged by Canadian Spa, where Tony was very helpful & supportive, who then arranged for the delivery & installation.

Craig & Anthony were very friendly, and did an excellent job with the installation, taking great care not to damage any of my new Patio tiles, and even helped me put my back gate back on. They wired up the tub up, filled it up, then set it up for me, and i have to say that i am very pleased with it, so i have no regrets in buying this Hot Tub and would recommend it and Canadian Spa & B&Q for their great product & support.

The Grandchildren also love it, and its a challenge getting them out of it now, but at least i guess we will see even more of them now:) I like the way you can lower the water temperature, so you can use it at say 28c on a really hot day, just so we have a nice cooling pool at hand, after baking on a sun lounger, or raise the temperature as needed for the full usual hot tub experience.

You can turn off all the pumps and have complete silence, or have full power jet experience, with every jet being fully adjustable. iPhone & iWatch connects easily to the Bluetooth and the speakers perform great.

I also bought the Rattan steps and i’ve just ordered a safety handrail, although not essential, but just for that extra bit of reassurance when getting in and out.

Just had our Canadian Spa hot-tub delivered and installed by Gary. It took a while and had to be manoeuvred on the sledge, instead of trolley, because of roof height and access. Gary remained cheerful and efficient throughout the whole process despite the difficulties.

The hot tub looks fabulous and can’t wait to get in it! We would highly recommend Tony of Canadian Spa and Gary for their cheerful professionalism and efficiency.

After 6 weeks I’ve developed my opinion on this purchase – Pros: Top-notch construction, high-quality materials, very good performance. Three 5-hp motors Attractive Easy to use and take care of Relatively smooth transaction, and delivery itself was mostly no problem.

Less-than-perfect but still good: Overall well-designed but I wish the control panel were more sophisticated to control the pumps and various combinations. I use the Bluetooth option frequently, but I wish I could control things like volume, track selection, etc from the tub control panel.

I don’t want my device anywhere near the tub and don’t want to use wet hands to control it from the device. I wish the speakers were on all sides of the tubes instead of only one side. It’s hard to hear them from the non-speaker sides, especially when pumps are going.

Cons: Self-installation and it turned out one of the sensors malfunctioned (spa detected ice mode continuously even at full 101 degree temp, therefore blowers would run continuously). Customer service was okay and recommended installing a new spa pack which they sent.

I ended up having to coordinate this fix much more than I expected – troubleshooting the issue, requesting the spa pack shipment, coordinating with a technician for timing, following up on requests. Overall it took two weeks to replace and start using the spa.

They were kind and helpful, but not exactly white glove service. Overall, you tend to get the service you pay for. The product itself is a higher quality than some of my neighbors who paid much more for their spas.

The buying experience was great with Admired Homes. The shipping company was below expectations, Canadian Spa Company did their part to provide communication. Canadian Spa should change their trucking company.

The Yukon has a couple rattle noises. Canadian Spa Company has been a little slow in responding but is working through the concerns and being helpful which is the most important part. I’d buy again from Admired Home and Canadian Spa Company.

I’ve really enjoyed using this tub. It’s a perfect size for me. It’s well made with a perfectly fitting cover to keep the heat in.
