20 Best Hot Air Brush For Short Fine Hair (2023 Updated)

Love love love this tool! By far the best brush straightener out there. I bought the first gen brush straightener from HeadKandy and loved it. I happened to get a free one from a competitor and while it is a great product too, it’s just can’t compete with the HeadKandy product.

I gave my bestie the OG and was stuck with the competitors for a while (I know I know). I couldn’t take it any longer and I bought the One Upper to replace the OG I gifted. I am now complete again in my straightening needs and have now gifted the competitors to another friend who is just not sure about the brush straighteners in general.

I have made sure to tell them of they end up enjoying the tool to UPGRADE to the One Upper! 😉.

Sadly I haven’t received my one upper yet. This is my second purchase because I absolutely LOVE the product! I have very frizzy thick thick red hair and it has always taken an hour to straighten it. Not anymore! with this amazing tool it takes about 10/15 minutes! My issue is shipping time sadly it said it would be about 5/7 days and it’s been over two weeks.

I will say the rep helping me track it from your customer service has been AMAZING! Her name is Shelby I believe she has been very kind with responding to my emails. I appreciate her communication.

I am by no means a hair expert. I just wanted a big round brush that would help me better style my hair. I looked at a bunch and decided on this one because of the price and reviews. I was not disappointed! I was worried the bristles would be scratchy, but they’re actually kind of soft.

I also appreciate that they don’t have those plastic tips that always wear away. The barrel does retain heat really easily – so be careful handling after you blow-dry. I also recommend using a heat protectant (it really gets hot).

Biggest plus is that my hair doesn’t look all fluffy or staticky after I blow it out. I have a lot of fine hair, so fluffiness is always an issue. Not with this brush! I have volume with a sleek finish that we all strive for.

Cannot go wrong with this brush for the price!!.

I’m new to L’ange, but took the plunge and ordered this 75mm brush. I have always used a round brush and blow dryer, or a cheap electric stying brush, with decent results, so I wasn’t expecting too much of a difference.

I have long, thin, fine hair that only holds volume for about 30 minutes no matter if I use product or not. When my order arrived, very timely, I will say, I was super impressed with the beautiful packaging and immediately gave the volume brush a shot.

My hair was towel dried damp, not dripping. Brush has different bristles than any I have had before – sturdy, but no pulling or tangling, glides through hair easily. This is a noticeable and valuable feature, especially for someone who wishes to keep the hair she has! Brush heats up faster than a gas stove and has several heat settings.

The airflow is strong as well. This brush is big and oval shaped, not round. Adds beautiful, smooth volume, but not tight or defined curl, so it depends on what you are after. I like the oval shape as it let’s me get that bit of poof at the crown of my head.

My hair dried soft, smooth, ends slightly turned under, crown/top of head had just enough body and volume. I used a bit of hairspray and was extremely surprised that I still had “poof” several hours later.

I love this brush and I am so happy I decided to give L’ange a try!.

This is my second brush as my original is close to 10 years old. It’s a great all rounder (pun intended) and is easy to wash for those with oily hair who need to keep their brushes clean.

I used my new ConAir “The Knot Dr. ” blowdryer just last night and was “Blown Away” by its amazingness! You see what I did there?? 🙂 But seriously, this is a wonderful new addition to my hair care regimen and a very effective blow dryer.

My intention was to straighten my toddler’s curly hair for easy styling – which is typically a major fight – and this did not disappoint in making it a much easier process. The dryer is a good compact size which makes for easy handling, and the soft bristles helped to create a “no-cry” experience for the little one and me! The 3 air settings are just enough heat/cooling to dry but not damage the hair, and it creates an easy glide through the hair.

The only shortfall is that the handle is a bit wide and may be difficult to grasp at the right angle. Also, it would have been nice if the cord was a bit longer. I had to add an extension cord for across the room use, but that’s a small thing compared to the benefits this dryer provides.

I’m considering buying one for my niece too! Thanks for such a great product ConAir!.

I have been using this dryer brush for just under a year, and I absolutely love it, with one small exception which I’ll mention last. I was using a competitor’s product (an affordable one, not the ridiculously priced vacuum cleaner) and it gave a nice blowout, but was far too hot and damaged my hair really badly.

I took a few months off and air dried or used a regular blow dryer and round brush while giving my hair a break, but I missed the ease, convenience and results so I decided to try this brand. At first, my hair was staticky but by the third or fourth use, the leave-in conditioner and/or heat protectant had worked itself into the bristles and that was no longer a problem.

This Conair model is far superior because it has so many heat settings, so no damage! I love this thing. The problem is that the black finish on the handle started breaking down very early and I get little black flecks that look like sparkles all over my hands and they fall onto my face and are really hard to clean off! I hope Conair can source a new material for the handle to stop this issue.

Meanwhile, I will have to find something to cover the handle with to reduce this messy, flaky problem. Please keep making this tool and maybe add another accessory since the heads can be interchanged.

I’d like a smaller round brush for shorter hair. As far as I’m concerned, you can ditch the volumizing comb in favour of a smaller round brush.

Its funny. I didn’t think I would ever use this again. Had 1 when I was in my teenage years. I highly recommend this product. It heats up fast and does my hair so nice. Get one you will love it. I love mine.

Very nice curling iron at a good price. I had purchased a very good, inexpensive brush curling irons in the early 1980. Only paid about $6 for it. The last so many years the teeth started falling off, this last week it was just completely falling apart.

After reading reviews bought this. The sizz is perfect. Looks like the teeth are a better material than my last curling iron. Being able to adjust the heat is a plus. I first tried the recommended lower settings for thin, fine hair, but found a much higher setting works best for me, curls faster for one thing.

Handle is the right width. So far so good, hope this one lasts as long as the last one I owned.

I have been buying many different Conair products for many many years. And never had a problem. Until this past year 2020 and 2021. This is my 9th curling brush and the first 7 lasted me about 2 years.

The last 2 brushes I have bought have only last 2-3 month. I don’t know what Conair has changed, but it is not good. Won’t buy anymore CONAIR PRODUCTS AT ALL.

Over the years I have tried many ways to dry and style my hair – brushes, blow dryers, straighteners, and all kinds of other tools. Nothing ever will compare to this InStyler Hot Hair Brush. The brush itself is made extremely well.

It’s easy to hold onto and easy to grip while using. It has three different settings – cool air, heat, and higher heat (all with air flow). The great thing about this is the control is at the base and you have to turn it to power it on and select the setting you want to use.

This comes in really handy so you don’t bump it while in use and shut it off or change the setting. My hair is to the middle of my back and is very thick, so getting it dry and styling it is always a huge ordeal – it usually takes ours but with this brush I can have my hair dry and styled in under 30 minutes.

I usually use either hot setting to dry and style my hair and it work so quickly. It makes my hair so soft, gives it great volume, and makes it look so much healthier. If you are looking for a great blowout look, this brush is exactly what you need.

It styles with little to no effort which is nice when you are a mom with little time to yourself like me. If you are looking for a more wave/curly look, all you need to do is put it on on the cooler setting and use it like a diffuser (like the ones you use with a blow dryer) you will get perfect waves and a great style.

I am very happy with this brush, I don’t see myself ever needing my straightener, round brushes, or blow dryer again. I highly recommend this brush if you are needing a good way to dry and style your hair with ease.

I had my first hair cut when I was in my 30’s and haven’t looked back since. My hairdresser at that time advised me to use the above-mentioned Air Styler which I purchased from her and have found it incredibly useful.

I always use it now as I am no good at creating styles with a hairdryer. I am now 40 and am still using the same Airstyler. I would recommend this item to anyone who cannot style with a hairdryer and a brush.

You can easily achieve particular styles you have chosen for yourself with the recommended heat function. Great product. Jaz.

One of the things that attracted me to this product was the ability to change out the different sizes. Initially, I switched out the larger barrel for the smaller barrel to do my bangs. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much difference so I really don’t use the smaller barrel much.

I was also excited to try the cooling function but there were no directions on how to achieve a style using that function. I know that a “cooling” function is supposed to “set” your style. But if you’re just straightening you hair, there’s not much point.

And as far as curling hair, it didn’t curl my hair at all. But, I have my Le Duo for that 😉 Also, where the attachment for the barrel meets the handle, my hair has gotten tangled as I’ve been drying/styling which is my biggest complaint as it’s a bit painful and not super easy to clean out, even when I take the attachment off.

All in all, I love how well this product works as far as a hair dryer. The titanium material makes a huge difference and I’m able to dry my thinner long hair, on the low setting, completely in about 10-15 minutes.

And when I don’t have that kind of time, I can use the high setting, with a heat protectant, to get it dry and get out the door in the morning in just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this product.

And I would recommend to l’ange to include maybe an additional instruction guide on styling your hair using the different functions the product has to offer.

Highly highly recommend! Here’s why: A few years ago I purchased a similar hair dryer/styling tool. Tried to use it several times but found that, although the idea was good, the dryer lacked having enough blow drying power to dry my hair.

It would take 30-40 mins to get my hair dried. I was a little hesitant to purchase another one and try it again, but after reading probably one hundred reviews, I decided to try it. I am soooo glad I did! I have fairly thin hair, but a lot of it.

This round dryer had my hair dry as fast as my traditional hand-held dryer, but with exceptional results! I have volume and style and it does it all in very short order-which is great because I’m a morning person and I need to be ready and out of the house early.

I’m so incredibly pleased with this styling tool. I will even be taking it with me when I travel (which is not my normal routine, but I can’t imagine not having it to get read in the morning at a hotel.

First let me say, I have super curly, kinky hair. I spent years and a lot of money getting my hair professionally straightened. I finally got to the point to where I wanted to find a healthier and less expensive way to straighten my hair.

I found it with this Hot Tools Blowout Brush. Here is what I like: the handle makes it easier to hold, there is a pik on the bottom of the handle. The pik makes sectioning so much easier for me. This brush flows through my hair.

I am able to blowout my hair with this brush, and achieve a salon look. I found exactly what I was looking for in this gem. So worth it!.

I am SUPER picky on my hair brush so I was kind of skeptical about this but dang, this brush blows my usual brush away! This brush does not give me static at all! It goes through my hair easily and if I have a tangle, it helps ease the tangle out without pulling my hair.

The grip is slip-proof so no dropping it as you use it. The bristles are stiff but still feel soft on your hair. Just a great brush and the perfect size for my super long hair.

I have a lot of thick, naturally curly hair and love to blow dry my hair out straight from time to time. This is the first brush that almost can get it straight without having to use a flat iron. It leaves my hair with a nice shine as well as soft to the tough.

I would have given this 5 stars if Idid not have to use a flat iron for the final smooth out. Definately the best brush I have used for blow drying my hair. It also looks stylish.

This is a great blow dryer for those who want smooth looks with volume. It is easy to grasp and hold while using and doesn’t bother my wrists or hands, and is not heavy. It has several heat modes so you can choose according to your hair needs.

I use the medium setting for my fine hair. I section my hair and use the dryer on those parts, working my way up. It takes little time to dry, as the brush lifts and separates your hair. You can go under the hair like I do, for volume, or for smoothing just brush it down on the hair strands.

It can get quite hot, so be careful with your fingers. I can dry my hair much quicker with this dryer by taking sections, compared to a normal blow dryer and brush routine. It cools quickly so that I’m able to put it away when I’m done with my makeup.

I use a flat iron to finish up, but normally it is just minimal, because the blow dryer does such a great job. I would recommend this for anyone who wants smoother hair. My hair is pretty straight, so I don’t know how it works with someone with some curl.

I can set it on the low setting to dry my bangs slowly, so I can get them where I want them. I would definitely recommend this dryer over some others that I have had. The brush is not as large as my older brand, that was heavy and harder to control My hair is just touching my collar and the other brand wasn’t able to get the shorter hairs underneath, but this one does.

Pros: dries quickly, cools quickly, gives volume Cons: none so far.

I love the One Step Plus! It cuts down on drying time so much and is so much easier to use than a hairdryer/brush combo. I always wanted to learn how to do a great blowout but I am not coordinated enough to use a round brush.

This product lets me get those round brush results (volume, smoothness) but it’s so much easier to use. I use a heat protectant/leave in product, towel dry until damp, section my hair, and use the medium heat setting.

I also like how this product cuts down on the amount of heat I use on my hair (versus hairdryer plus flat iron). The only thing I don’t like about the One Step Plus is it doesn’t have a good grip on the roots or ends of my hair, which is kinda annoying.

Most days, I just leave it and try to touch them up the next day, but I wonder if this could be fixed by making the bristles a tad more grippy or stiff, or making the charcoal bristles longer. The product is so gentle to the point that it loses a little effectiveness on my hair type.

I would recommend the One Step Plus with caution – good for shorter hair, but the barrel is still a little too large to smooth your roots. Thick hair is compatible with this product, but might take a few more passes because the bristles aren’t grippy enough.

Styling my hair no longer take an hour. I used to blow dry and style my hair manually with a big hair brush but of course it take an hour as to get the wavy effect I would need to use hair roller afterwards, but with this rotating hair brush, it’s so simple now, all I need is to half dry my hair with a normal dryer then section them, than take those sections with this rotating brush, in half an hour, I’m done and my hair is so soft.

With the price and result, this brush is currently my best friend lol.

The power is good and make my hair good style but it is a little heavy and I get tired and pain

I have been looking for a hair tool that could give the effect of a round brush blow dry without the hassle of a round brush and hair dryer. This one is it! It has replaced my hair dryer round brush now.

I have naturally straight hair and it’s very difficult to get a decent amount of volume in my hair without using hot rollers, Velcro rollers, and additionally styling time. This brush does it all- dries my hair quickly and gives me volume all at once.

I’m able to get loose big waves with this blow dry brush, and will occasionally go in afterwards with a curling iron to touch up a few pieces if necessary. It is also super light weight which is a plus.

Highly recommend trying this, its a great price point and works tremendously.

I bought this when my $300 Drybar hairdryer died after a year of having it. I lost my receipt and even though I purchased it under my Sephora account they weren’t able to find it in their system. This blow dry brush gives decent volume, and with my heat protectant, gives me a sleek look every time.

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because no matter how hard I try, I can’t really get it to style like the pictures online/on the box. It could just be my hair type. Idk. But great product ☺️.
