I live in NYC and bars close at 4. Add good friends visiting during the business week and you have an equation for disaster. Went out hard, had 4 hours of sleep, and felt like death by 10 am. I remembered that I had brought this to work.

I took it with a light breakfast of scrambled eggs from the cafeteria. Bam! No hangover. I took another around 4 and it was smooth sailing. I bought mine from CVS which is when I learned that it’s also FDA approved and apparently the only hangover remedy that is (still would use it if it weren’t).

This is basically alka seltzer mixed with a pain killer. You’re getting hydration from the water, stomach help from the seltzer, and a pain killer for your headache. Tastes way better than normal seltzer water.

Not too unpleasant tasting at all. Really helps kick off your morning recovery. By no means a miracle formula, but it’s helpful when you’re trying to get a bunch of stuff in your system but feel miserable.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Get 7-up or ginger ale. They will definitely work better. The taste is just plain awful and when your nauseous it only makes it worse. It’s Alkaseltzer with a different name.

I wouldn’t recommend this and wish I could get my money back. They were a complete waste.

Two tablets and boom, you’re ready to tackle your day. I even recently forced one on my boyfriend after he had a boy’s night out. He didn’t initially love the taste but half an hour later, he said “I don’t know what you gave me but holy smokes, I feel way better!” Cheers, y’all.

I got to tell you. I don’t know how I found this product but so glad I did. My husband and I are not drinkers anymore so it is strange that I even knew I needed it. But, we are not good sleepers and when we wake up in the mornings we feel like we haven’t even been to sleep we feel groggy and foggy and not with it, kinda like we had been out drinking all night and then had to get up and go to work.

Not fun. We don’t need it all the time but when we do need it, it really does the job to wake us up and get our minds right so that we can get ready for our day. It helps with the grogginess and the body “bed aches” and just gets us right.

We pop the tablets in a small glass of water and wait for it to dissolve and down it all at once. Within 15 minutes we are ready for the day. Body aches gone. Headaches gone, mind is right. Been taking it for a few years and no complaints only compliments.

I got it as a part of the herbal tea samples combo. Tried this morning, after celebration with too much champagne the night before. It wor Tomato + Ginger + Beet pieces, Hibiscus, Cardamom, Black + White pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg ks! The taste is strange, but who cares if the remedy works.

This mix contains mostly nuts with very intense flavor. It makes a great addition to the iced tea mix – I used it with Peach Ice Cream tea for extra twist. By itself it is nice, but the color and taste of fruit is barely there and it seems wasteful given the price tag.

The nutty flavor is nothing that could be obtained by steeping the regular nuts in the water. The quality costs thought.

This tea is a disappointment , on the picture I saw some ginger pieces but it does not smell like ginger at all. Taste is very strange too, it has wierd savory note in it ( like a bullion cube). Plus it’s a mystery what’s actually in it, there is no list of ingredients.

I received a sample of the Goody’s Hangover Relief Powder free for review from Pinch Me and while I will say that I definitely recommend this product, I myself had a difficult time putting it down. The powder is used to temporarily relieve aches and pains associated with a hangover while at the same time restoring mental alertness.

It comes in a powder form which you can either dissolve in water or apply directly to the tongue followed by drinking a glass of water. The main ingredients are aspirin and caffeine which are both very effective, for me, when it comes to headaches and hangover pain.

As far as it restoring mental alertness, I did not notice that I experienced that with this product so I’m a little unsure about that claim. As far as using the product, sprinkling the powder directly onto my tongue was not an option! I found it to be way too strong and bitter.

It does have a Berry Citrus flavor so adding it to water or soda was a better solution for me. Even diluted in 8 ounces of water, I found this tough to drink. Although it is better than your typical dissolvable medicines, I definitely prefer a pill or tablet.

I just found it to be very bitter even with the berry and citrus. As far as its effectiveness, it worked very well and took care of all my ailments within a half an hour. It’s packaging is great. You can throw it in a purse or bag, and you don’t NEED water to use the product.

I also trusts its ingredients. I feel safe knowing it’s just aspirin and caffeine. Those ingredients alone seem to do the job so why take extra?! It is a great product from a great company it’s just not for me.

I definitely would have rated 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bitterness of the flavor. Of course it’s aspirin so it’s going to be a bit bitter but I prefer a pill for sure. If you can do these powders, this is an absolute must try! If you’re more of a pill person this might not be for you.

I am not gonna lie I was very skeptical about this product! I received a sample of the powder from pinch me and as soon as I got it I figured there was no way that this was going to take away a hangover.

Being that we are all quarantined in our house my husband drink a little too much over the weekend and I thought this the perfect time to have him try out the sample I received. I mix the hangover powder in with some OJ and had him drink it down.

Well, prior to receiving a free sample of this product from PinchMe. I had absolutely no knowledge of it’s existence. I’m not familiar with this brand at all. Anyhow, to get to the point, I can say it actually does work though.

I received these alka seltzer hangover tablets for free from influencer to test. Alka seltzer has been around forever and is a well trusted and well respected brand. I was looking forward to trying these (and looking forward to have an excuse to have a night out with friends) After torturing myself with a few too many tequila shots, and not drinking enough water, all for the sake of science, I woke up with the rare hangover and immediately rushed to my bathroom to try these.

The instructions say to mix with 4oz of water so I filled half a drinking glass and plopped two tablets in. I waited about 3 minutes while they dissolved and then drank the mixture, leaving any sediment behind as per the instructions.

The taste is a little citrusy, mostly the fizzy feeling is what you taste. A few hours, a lot of water, and a giant breakfast sandwich later, I was definitely feeling a little better. I looked into the ingredients to see if it was the alka seltzer making me feel better or something else.

The main ingredients are aspirin and caffeine. A pain killer plus caffeine would definitely help with the sluggishness from the hangover. The two other main ingredients are 370mg of sodium per tablet and 115mg of potassium per tablet.

Since I took two tablets I got over 700mg of sodium and 230mg of potassium. Both of which really help the body regain its electrolyte balance, and really helps with hangover symptoms. To compare, liquid iv only has 500mg sodium per pack.

The final conclusion is that these definitely help with hangovers, although they aren’t anything special, any pain killers and a cup of coffee will do mostly the same thing. I think that are really affordable (only $4 for a box of 20 tablets) for what they are and I love the convience and portability of their little individually wrapped tablets.

Alka seltzer certainly didn’t reinvent the wheel when they made these but they did very conveniently package it.

The effervescent tablets come two in a pack and dissolve rapidly in a glass of water for fast absorption. ​​ ​​The taste is rather unpleasant for me, as the baking soda makes it taste like salty orange soda.

However, the liquid intake method (as opposed to a solid pill) makes the product work rather quickly, especially when combined with the additional caffeine. The presence of baking soda should help with alleviating nausea and stomach conditions, and the aspirin should provide some pain relief from the muscle aches and headaches.

Overall–this product works effectively, especially if you don’t mind the weird salt-orange taste. ​​ ​​However, I can’t in good faith recommend this product to others because 1. ) aspirin is terrible for your liver and 2.

) caffeine is a diuretic that will further dehydrate you. I received Alka-Seltzer Hangover Relief just in time for the 4th of July. I use Alka-Seltzer often for other things I recieved this product just in time for fourth of July holiday. I have used Alka-Seltzer brand effervescent products at home for years so I had high hopes for this and I wasn’t surprised to find that it does help.

I was hoping that the orange flavor would be alot easier to drink down but it really wasn’t any better than any other flavor of Alka-Seltzer and they’re all kind of nasty in my opinion. Nonetheless it’s worth it if it works.

Anyway, it immediately stopped my head from pounding and over the course of the next hour it was completely gone which is likely due to the aspirin and caffeine it contains. It did take a little longer to ease the nausea and upset stomach that I had but it eventually made that feel better too.

It didn’t really do much for my dehydration or fatigue But I think that’s to be expected. So it’s a decent product and I would probably use it again if I was badly hung over. Incidentally I did become sick with a cold around mid July and I tried it to ease those symptoms and it actually helped enough to get me through until I could get my usual Alka-Seltzer Cold medecine.

Overall I would say it’s an okay Hangover remedy although maybe not much different than the original Alka Seltzer would be but everyone is different and I would probably still recommend someone to try it at least once.

I might use it again if I was hungover but I don’t know if I would purchase this particular one just for that reason.

So I’ll admit a small group of adults gathered last week (respecting each others 6 foot personal space) to have some adult beverages. It was a crazy week, where many of us had to learn to homeschool our own kids, and by Friday, we were ready to kick back and relax.

I received my Goody’s Hangover Relief Powder a a free product to try from PinchMe. I have had normal Goody’s powders before and usually use them when I am hungover because they are so fast acting. This version tastes better than the other flavored ones I have tried, even the Goody’s tropical flavored one.

I poured the powder directly into my mouth then washed it down with some water and that was quick and easy. You can mix it with water but it just makes a bigger mess. This powder went to work right away and I felt pretty amazing within 20 minutes.

Now granted I wasn’t in the middle of an awful hangover, but it was probably a 5 or 6 on a scale of 1-10. It was a noticeable hangover with a headache and general fatigue/malaise. This product fixed it and I was good to go to work! Keep in mind that this is a powerful drug; it is 1000 mg of NSAID and 150mg of caffeine, but I felt great on it.

I’ve been a steady fan of Basis as they have expanded from Whole Foods, to Safeway and beyond. When I heard that they had packets, I just had to try them. Reading through the reviews, I was a bit dumbfounded on people complaining about the flavor.

If you think it is too strong, add more water. If you think it isn’t strong enough, use less. If you don’t like the taste, I don’t know what to tell you because I think they are delicious and your loss for not being hydrated.

In terms of flavors, all of them are good but I reckon purple takes the cake. Something about it just hits a bit different. While you can taste the salt in the beverage, it’s what makes the flavor so crisp and is a steady reminder of it’s purpose: hydration.

I think it is a great product and while I don’t own a crystal ball, I will definitely be getting these every month! Thanks Basis!.

Like everyone else, I bought these because I wanted something with less sugar. They’re not my fave. I bought 2 flavors: blackberry lemon and grapefruit melon. The blackberry one has a VERY subtle, barely there taste.

The grapefruit melon one was disgusting- bitter? Chemical like?. I thought I probably mixed it in a cup that wasn’t rinsed properly when washed. I tossed it and tried it again another day. Still gross 🥲 and same chemical taste.

My husband eats and drinks just about anything and he also couldn’t bring himself to drink it. I might be finishing the blackberry one. I wish the flavor was more noticeable. The grapefruit one is a hard pass and will be throwing it away.

I have to hydrate frequently at my current job because it requires me to be outdoors in the hot sun. But I also learned recently that I was prediabetic. This meant I could no longer have gatorade, which was the affordable way to hydrate.

After looking through all the other hydration mixes on the market, this one looked the cleanest in terms of sugar. I appreciate that the sugar is low and that they stick to monk fruit for added sugar.

And it has been fantastic so far. I really feel hydrated without my sugar levels rising. And I have given packets to other coworkers with all of them having positive experiences with it. I bought the variety bag to try all the different flavors and cran raspberry easily won.

But if I had to rate the other two, blackberry lemon came second, and grapefruit melon came last. The flavor is really light for all of them, like it tastes like a hint of something in your water. I do like a strong flavor personally, but this is so perfect at hydrating I’m willing to overlook it.

Been using both the Prevention and Boost occasionally as needed over the past few years and the results never disappoint. This product WORKS! This stuff is great! I’ve purchased fulvic acid in the past & it was pretty stringent tasting & gave me instant cotton mouth. Perhaps it had more minerals or something than this but I love the plain fulvic charged drops, tasteless! I’ve been drinking the blk water or taking drops daily & I have no more issues with stomach acid.

Sweetness from sweetest to hint of tartness: watermelon, berry, orange, strawberry lemonade, lemon. Even the sweetest of these is like half as sweet to me as Pedialyte, for reference, so it’s still pleasant and not like drinking synthetic candy versions of what someone imagines fruit to taste like having only heard a description.

Sorry, I really hated bottled Pedialyte. Watermelon: easy to drink, refreshing, and my favorite. Tastes better cold, seems a little too sweet for me at room temp but that’s a nit-pick. Better as a beverage solo than with food since it does have more flavor.

Watermelony pink color. Strawberry Lemonade: a step less sweet and less strong of a flavor than watermelon, but still a light sweetish flavor that is nice with snackfood or alone. Half as sweet or less than Pedialyte’s strawberry lemonade powder, which is the least sweet of their product that I’ve tried.

2nd favorite. Subtle pale pink. Berry: I gave my dad the same flavors and he prefers berry. It’s similar stregth and sweetness to watermelon. Pinky purple. Orange: too strong for me personally, I have to add a lot if extra water and that’s not always an option for me.

It’s not bad though, it’s just not to my taste. Orange flavor with a capital ‘O’ – it’s yummy but not subtle. This would be the one for someone weaning themselves off orange Gatorade, or who likes Gatorade but wants something more hydrating and less sugary.

Lemon: this is the one for you if you don’t really like sweet beverages! It doesn’t taste exactly like fresh lemon in water but it is more to that side than to the cloying sweetness of things like Pedialyte, powder Gatorade, and Propel.

I was expecting a sugary lemon since this category of product is universally very sweet, but this is an exception which is perfect for the person who never bothered trying drinks like this because of that.

This one looks just a bit white/cloudy to me. The most subtle color by far of those I’ve tried if you’re trying to not call attention to a bright orange or pink beverage at the office or church or something (haha, I don’t even know where people go anymore.

) Since I work on the same 1L bottle of water all day, I like to mix 2 flavors. My favorite combo is Watermelon & Strawberry Lemonade, and Berry & Lemon is good too. If you’re on the fence, the mix pack is nice.

I’m using up the ones I like just a bit less to mix. I think strawberry lemonade is the most crowd-pleasing so far since it’s more balanced sweetness and more subtle flavor. I realize I look bonkers for writing this much, but I know this product has been one of the things getting me through the past couple months.

I couldn’t find a liquid iv flavor I really liked, they all taste like artificial sugar to me and they didnt really seem to be helping me hydrate it wasnt really different from drinking water for me.

Dripdrop was different. It still took me a while to get used to the flavor but really helped with headaches and just feeling unwell from being dehydrated. They work faster than anything else if youve been working out in the heat and sun.

They’re also the only hydration drink my kids will use, they hate pedialyte. The flavors took a bit of getting used to but to me werent as offensive as other drinks. Well some of them, I have strong feelings on some of the flavors.

My husband likes the orange flavor which tastes like old school drink tang. I like lemon flavor and berry. The grape, cherry and fruit punch taste like popsicles and are good for my kids. They’ve made a huge difference for me.

This is my favorite primer I’ve ever tried. It’s light weight and goes on more like a lotion. It never gathers in fine lines or creases and makes my skin feel better hydrated throughout the day. It grips makeup without feeling thick or tight.

Skin feels flexible and makeup and sunscreen stay in place all day. I haven’t tried to use it with high glam, high coverage looks but for everyday use this is amazing. I find less is more and using a bit of this works as a protective barrier from natural elements and smog as well as my foundation and spf.

With the right skincare routine, this has kept me from getting any new unwanted blemishes. It truly feels like a protective barrier. I would purchase this again and again. The only thing is the smell of this line isn’t the most desirable.

However, its way better than some horrible thick fragrance that will more likely than not, cause breakouts.

At first I thought it was just hyped, overpriced moisturizer but tried it again when I switched to powder foundation because I wanted a good hydrating primer and not so much a pore filling one. This really hydrates and makes my skin look so nice.

It truly makes a difference with the powder and helps it blend and not be cakey. I also love that it has good ingredients. That’s something other primers miss out on, being good for your skin. It’s very light and milky in texture and absorbs pretty quickly with no greasy or funny after feeling.

And most importantly, it didn’t break me out! As far as scent, I get a plain lotion scent with maybe a hint of what you can call coconut unless I got a defective one. But that doesn’t bother me. I do think it’s a bit pricey for the amount you get so I just wait for sales or coupons.

But definitely my new favorite primer!.

I bought this and thought I was in luck considering the reviews and I honestly don’t understand the hype unless none of these people have a single wrinkle on their face. LBVS. This did nothing to keep my makeup from creasing and I even paired it with the Too Faced Born This Way Matte foundation.

In fact, my makeup creased big time and created wrinkles where I didn’t even know I had them. Everything was patchy like it didn’t want to blend either. One would think these two would pair well together considering.

I’m 34 and have minimal aging but this made me age. AND IT SMELLS HORRIBLE. It calms down once it’s on your face (believe it or not) but when it comes out of the tube, it has a strong chemical smell.

I am a 47-year-old woman, and I have had Fibromyalgia and lower back pain for years(had a hysterectomy in ’04 and back surgery in 2012). I do a lot of cardio, strength training, etc. I was using yoga to control the pain, and keep my spine in line, as I do not ever want to have a back surgery, if I can help it!).

I am a healthcare provider, and I definitely ascribe mainly to Western medicines. I know there is a lot of skepticism regarding homeopathic remedies but this absolutely worked for me. I had tonsillitis/exudative pharyngitis, but tested negative for strep.

I was prescribed a z-pack anyway because it was all the symptoms of strep phayingitis (enormous cryptic tonsils with exudates, glands so swollen it hurt to turn my head, swallowing felt like swallowing glass) but after 5 days I was actually getting worse and not better.

I was in so much pain I went back to the doctor, got a different antibiotic AND T3s for the pain. 2 days later and fever is gone but pain/swelling is still as bad. Pain & pressure radiating to the ears.

I have always had a thyroid that when tested bordered on almost but not enough to need medication for hypothyroid disease. As I have gotten older my symptoms have ever so slightly progressed more and more.
