I have a lot of Frida products in our household. The gross booger sucker (which is UHmazing) all the cool things that you wouldn’t think to buy, Frida creates. They also take commonly used products and make them easier or more efficient for us.

I love these cooling pads, this past winter we have seen many colds and flu’s. So I forgot I had these and when temps spike in both of my toddlers I slapped these (not really slapped) bad boys on their foreheads and gave them some Tylenol.

Within the hour they were up and wreaking havoc per the norm. They loved them and started acting out as Superhero’s with their magic foreheads. Yeah. My older son even likes them, he said it helped smooth his headache while he was sick and had a fever.

They are a great aid/add on during any cold/flu season!.

Originally I bought these for myself to use during migraine days. They’ve been a welcomed addition to my usual tricks. I have also been thankful to have them to use on my son’s fevers. He tends to run high Temps even with motrin, these have helped knock his temp down even more saving us from er trips.

These cooling pads are absolutely fantastic and work great! My 3 and 6 year olds were struggling with a nasty cold that gave them slight fevers. The FeverFrida’s made a drastic difference in how they were feeling.

What I loved the most is that they can be trimmed to size and stick really well in place. I keep mine stored in the refrigerator so that they are extra cold for when we need them. My 6 year old commented that her head was feeling better after just 5 minutes of use.

I even stuck one on the back of her neck to help with her accompanying headache, which worked wonders. These babies last 8 hours, so one goes a long way! My husband has even used them and loves them as well.

so really they’re for all ages! Absolutely a must have item for any parent’s first aid kit!!!.

Little Remedies is my favorite brand of childrens medicine. They have a little bit of everything. They are always reasonably priced and usually have a decent selection of flavors. It has always worked with coughs, colds, fevers, everything.

My infant son had received his first round of vaccines and was super uncomfortable and I was advised by my pediatrician to give tylenol (acetaminophen) if he was in any pain/discomfort and/or had a fever.

So I bought the two pack for convenience. The amount the pediatrician advised to give my son was 2ml. To my horror when I opened up the package and pulled out the sryinge there was no marking for 2ml.

How can anyone expect to give their child the correct dose when it’s not even an option? Now as a pharmacist this really upsets me as well because this is a HUGE patient safety issue. The box says to ask a doctor what dose to give but then fails to have a syringe that can accurately measure the dose.

I agree with my pediatrician recommended dose based on his weight as this is a weight based medication. However I cannot accurately and safely dose my child. I run tun the risk of either over or under dosing my child.

I would NOT recommend this product as one cannot safely administer the dose that a pediatrician gave. Super disappointed with this product and company especially when dealing with children and medication which could potentially harm my child.

We avoid added dyes when possible and when I saw Little Remedies offered an acetaminophen that not only dye free but also naturally flavored I was excited to try it. My three-year-old takes medication very well and he does not shy away from strong flavors but he made an immediate face and told me “Mommy, I don’t like this medicine, it tastes bad”.

I couldn’t get him to take even a quarter of the 5ml dose. I tried it myself and I’m pretty sure I made the exact same face, it’s strong and VERY bitter. For me, there was no berry taste. While I loved the idea of the naturally flavored medicine it does me absolutely no good if he refuses to take it.

What I did like about the product. The bottle is fully tamper sealed top to bottom, and it comes with a syringe (much easier than a cup at this age). Once opened the bottle has a silicone cap with a hole for the syringe.

I love, love, love this feature, you can turn the bottle upside down and dispense every last bit without air bubbles and since it’s made from silicone the hole seals shut after you remove the syringe.

So if the bottle is knocked over while uncapped or if it is being carried in a purse/travel bag you don’t have to worry about spills or leaks. Great feature. I love the idea of a dye free, naturally flavored acetaminophen and the small added details as far as packaging but the taste kills it for us, none of the extras do us any good if he refuses to take it.

Little Remedies Infant Fever and Pain Reliever does what it says and effectively relieves aches and pains, and reduces fever to help young children feel better. I like that this bottle comes with a syringe included and features a cap with a small hole in the middle to fit the syringe in and take the exact amount of medicine out without making a mess.

I like that this medicine is made with only the ingredients needed, and leaves out the unnecessary stuff like artificial flavors and colors, and is paraben and gluten free, and contains no saccharin or alcohol.

My child actually likes the natural berry flavor of this product much better and didn’t refuse to take this medicine, which I love. Every parent knows this struggle. These are one of my favorite finds from over a decade ago now. I suffer from bad migrants when I was a kid, I’d get sick constantly. These are a Godsend when it comes to that. They are definitely super cooling, stick perfectly to your forehead without leaving behind any gross residue they are less messy that your traditional ice pack or cold compress.

I feel like they help so much in a pinch, so I try to always have backup boxes of them in my house. Definitely a favorite product of mine that I will always repurchase highly recommend.

First impressions: This bottle of Motrin liquid gels contains 30 capsules, and since they are extra strength (400 mg) you only need to take one capsule, so this bottle will last for a while, making this a great value.

The child proof cap is easy enough to open as an adult, and the capsules themselves are clear gel capsules with a liquid core. First use: So just like clockwork, that time of the month comes around when I need to reach for some pain relief, and give these new Motrin liquid gels a first try.

I’m always annoyed when I get my first cramps near bed time as I have to wait for my pain medication to start working before I can actually fall asleep (and that usually takes quite a while the first night), so I take note of the time I first swallow the capsule (10:35 pm) and plan on seeing how long it takes before I can actually try to sleep.

The capsules themselves are very easy to swallow (and I am the kind of person who buys chewable vitamins when possible), with no unpleasant taste. I get distracted doing some reading and fall asleep shortly thereafter, without even realizing my pain was gone (experiment ruined).

These are efficient, effective, and overall a great value, I’m glad I gave these a try!.

This is far and above the best pain relief medication on the market! I have tried literally all of them. It works better than any over the counter pain relievers and many of the lower mg prescription ones.

It is fast acting – takes about 20- minutes and in my experience it lasts about 8 hours. I suffered from an abscessed tooth. I was getting migraines that were out of control. I was completely debilitated.

Motrin allowed me to function normally until I could have the tooth addressed. It also works incredibly for muscle pain, menstrual cramps, and arthritis pain, as well as serving as an anti-inflammatory.

I cannot recommend this product enough. All other products fail in comparison.

I’ve used this for several years with my son, who has autism. It’s the best combination of herbs to help him sleep. Valerian root has a strong smell and taste, as do many herbs, but introducing it in small amounts at first helped him get used to it.

He takes it willingly at bedtime because he knows it helps him.

I bought this herb probably about 6 months ago for my 2 year old who has trouble winding down some nights. This works amazingly and within about 20 minutes usually. I tried a calming blend after this herb just because I figured it’s probably good to switch them up her body doesn’t get used to it and it worked alright but NOTHING in comparison to Valerian.

So here I am buying it again and I will never let myself not have this in the house just in case. She is more than fine with the taste, which is important.

I have to admit, I will be the first to turn down OTC medicine and opt for a natural alternative most of the time. However, when it comes to muscle pain, I think I’m willing to give in when my body is not cooperating.

I taught intensive workout classes and overused muscles to the extent that I needed physical therapy. Sometimes, no matter how mindful you are about taking care of your body, pain becomes a part of life especially as we get older in age.

This is the reason I was glad to be a part of the Aleve (Back Muscle Pain) campaign and put this pain reliever to the test. Neck, shoulder and back pain seem to be the norm for my body these days, so I was eager to try Aleve’s pain fix.

I took 1 tablet before bed, and when I awoke the intense pain dissipated. I needed confirmation that this really worked. So, I tried it again, when no amount of stretching, devices, or massaging seemed to work for me.

Again, after taking a tablet before bed, I awoke to a most serene feeling without constant pain in my muscles. I am a proponent of doing what you can and then allowing for help when that doesn’t seem to work.

I did not experience any noticeable side effects from taking the tablets, which was comforting. Overall, my experience with Aleve back pain and muscle reliever was quite exceptional. I was so glad that it helped alleviate the muscle pain when it became too intense for me.

It is a product I plan to keep around for times like these. As with all medications, it always advised to consult with a doctor before taking. Since Aleve’s OTC muscle pain relief has NSAID, there are potential risks that must be considered, for those with health conditions, those age 60 +, or pregnant.

So, aside from those considerations, it is a product I would recommend for effective muscle pain relief.

Aleve is naproxen, a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory medication. Naproxen is in the same class as ibuprofen, and has the same properties of ibuprofen. What is different is the strength, you would need to take perhaps 800 mg of ibuprofen to have the same effect as 1 naproxen/Aleve.

Also ibuprofen is dosed at 4 hour intervals, where Aleve is dosed at 12 hour intervals. This is an important difference, it is much easier to take too much medicine every 4 hours than every 12. It is easy to forget how long it has been since the last dose, leading to overdose.

Since Aleve is taken every 12 hours this reduces the risk of overdosing. Some other considerations when taking Aleve or naproxen, this medicine is metabolized through the kidneys, so if you have renal disease do not take this medication.

Nonsteroidal medication also contributes to “thinning of blood”, so if this is a concern do not take this medication. Now for the Aleve or Tylenol debate. Tylenol is not an anti-inflammatory, and is metabolized through the liver.

It is my opinion, since most of the reasons people reach for a pain reliever is due to an inflammatory problem, I recommend an anti-inflammatory product. There are occasions when one product works better for an individual, so by all means take what works for you.

With that being said, I will always default to recommending a product like Aleve. Can you take both Aleve and Tylenol, the simple answer is yes. The more complex answer in a minute. Life is not pain free or easy, so an expectation of being totally pain free all the time is unrealistic.

Learn to manage pain using a variety of techniques: mindfulness, ice, rest, therapeutic exercise, massage, pain relievers as appropriate, etc. Trying to manage pain with chronic use of any medication will eventually result in more harm.

It should be noted, there is no reason to go through life in pain, so treat yourself, if you don’t that is your choice. You have to work at life, so work on yourself first. Now for the complex answer, always discuss with your doctor what you are taking or considering taking.

I recently received 24 Aleve caplets in my voxbox. I found the soft grip cap very easy to open yet still child resistant which is definitely a plus for me as I have 2 granddaughters under the ages of 5.

The cap was the first pro second they are caplets and easy to swallow. Each caplet was 200mg of Naproxen which is an NSAID meaning non steroid anti inflammatory which is great for pain i. e. back pain, muscle aches, arthritis just to name a few yet still works on minor aches pains and fever.

I have sciatica in my lower back which is very painful along with swelling of my joints in my hands and wrists and some days opening anything can be painful and challenging. I did notice some relief after the 1st dose it was a slight relief but better then other products I have tried in the past.

You only take 2 caplets on initial dose and no more then 3 in a 24 hr time frame. informative instruction booklet explaing more detailed instructions on bottle. These imo are the Pros. Cons: 1st I did not like that they were made in another country (India) which was stamped on the actual bottle.

I prefer to buy products made in the USA I also have to say another con for me is I noticed a little nausea after taking 2 caplets which it clearly states on the label that you can do on initial dose.

I would recommend this to my friends and family along with a warning of possible nausea. Overall I found it a good working product for many types of minor aches and pains and I would probably purchase it in the future.

This is my miracle medicine. I am glad that I found it. Helps me not only to relieve pain/fever, but relaxes the body stiffness and prevent vertigo attacks, that look like panic attacks and for decades doctors were treating them as such without success.

And the dose that do miracles for me is no more than half of the recommended only once or very rare twice a day. The next day I don’t need medicine. I have arthritis pain tolerance and take acetaminophen only if I can’t control it.

Walking a few miles every other day helps stay toned and with manageable pain. This medication tastes great and doesn’t upset my stomach. It is nice to have it always in my medicine cabinet. I don’t take any other medicine because immediately I feel the side effects.

Only acetaminophen in much smaller doses helps me. I was given ibuprofen by the nurse at work and it caused rapid heart beat and stiffness with dizziness for hours. Acetaminophen helped me and since then I don’t take anything else.

I’m giving this to my elderly mother who has trouble swallowing pills. Being in liquid form it’s much more convenient than crushing up regular acetaminophen tablets and it comes with a plastic cup. I wish they would put a half dose marking on the cup, there’s just a full dose mark.

The bottles of this medicine are somewhat small and I go through them quicker than with the regular tablets that I take. It’s expensive for such small bottles. I wish it was cheaper but it’s for my mom.

These are individually wrapped in packs of twos. Great for those on the go as well as wonderful for not having to fight bottles. Very nice for bringing with you. We have ordered the same thing other places and this dispenser box was crushed down so it would fit in a padded envelope.

Then you have all these packets to find a place for. When we ordered from Walmart it was GREAT. They were put in a box with air pillows for protection. We will only order here from this seller from now on.

Looking for regular strength acetaminophen and this was all that was in stock. It’s a little silly to have so much packaging, but it would certainly be convenient if you wanted to carry it in your pocket or purse.

It’s essentially a box full of generic Tylenol tablets in little sugar packets.

I’d been buying the brand name of this medicine in single dose packets. These are just as effective. I also prefer their smaller packaging and easier to open material.
