I’ve been having pain in my wisdom teeth and a cracked molar that I will be getting removed and the thought of dealing with the aching pain for weeks was driving me up the wall. This was a miracle product.

The relief was instantaneous. Like getting a novacaine shot without the pinch. I will say the relief wasn’t all that long lasting – about twenty minutes top and you can only use about every 6 hours but the fact that it completely takes the pain away for even a brief amount of time is worth it.

I also love how easy it is to apply. My problem area is in the back of my mouth which isn’t easy to reach with a gel or cream but with the little cotton swab like applicator it was very easy to reach the intended area with no mess too.

One of my good friends was having a horrible toothache while at home with her young children and asked me if I would go to the drugstore and pick something up. The first thing that pops into my mind when I think tooth pain is usually Anbesol, but that’s the only product she told me not to get! I bought this when I was out of town on a weekend bc orajel wasn’t working and I was in intense pain. throbbing, severe pain in my jaw and entire side of my face. (Later learned I needed a root canal.

) The instructions say to place the soaked cotton pellet in the tooth cavity without touching the surrounding tissue. Because I didn’t have a cavity in which to place the pellet, I gently smushed the pellet against the tooth where it touched the tooth behind it.

It took away enough of the pain and throbbing where I could function on a normal level. I will definitely purchase more of this to keep on hand for future needs. Because of the way I was applying this, some of the oil got in the corner of my mouth and on my tongue and made it feel like my mouth was on fire for a minute.

It left part of my bottom lip badly chapped. DO NOT SWALLOW. this stuff is nasty to taste!.

When it comes to toothaches, sadly I have a lot of experience trying everything under the sun. one thing that has always, ALWAYS worked is Clove Oil. Thats what this stuff is–Eugenol is what gives Clove Oil such a great reputation as a toothache remedy.

This kit comes with a small bottle, some cotton pellet things and some tweezers. you can use a q-tip instead if you have that. same idea–just dab it on the tooth itself, or if you can reach whatever spot on said tooth is causing you the most pain, put it there.

Be careful not to get too much on your gums as clove oil does burn, and tastes nasty but hey, its a small price to pay compared to the pain!.

I don’t know what I did to my tooth but it hurt so much I couldn’t even sleep. Ordered this, applied it, and it provided instant relief that lasted through the night. If you get it on your lips, gums, or other soft tissue it does burn but my experience was not as bad as others who posted.

it stings a bit but nothing major. I skipped using the little cotton balls and applied it with a Q-tip (following the instructions so product won’t drip). I found it much easier to apply this way and I didn’t get any of it on soft tissue this time so zero burn.

Others have complained about the taste, which isn’t pleasant but if you keep it only on the tooth the taste is minimal and again not that bad. The smell isn’t bad either. It’s made from cloves and that’s how it smells.

Well worth the money and does exactly what it claims it will do. If you are looking for real pain relief from a severe toothache, do yourself a favor and get this product. It is nothing short of amazing!.

This stuff is so amazing. I used it this morning for the first time on my youngest son’s curly frizzy morning hair and let me say wow! Usually his hair is an unmanageable mess that ends up with a giant frizz spot right in the middle of the back of his head from sleep.

Well while he was brughing his teeth we sprayed this is in just flipping through all the hair onto the dry lengths and let it sit while he finished up. Then the miracle happened somehow we managed to brush through from bottom to top with no frizz, tears from him, it had shine, and it was smooth and bouncy and weightless.

Not to mention it was non greasy and the spray was such a nice misting that it evenly coated and also smelled very nice even to a young kid. Which if any of you have kids that’s a bonus whooo! And it dried up nice with no crunchy feel or greasy or oily feel some other products can leave or slimy feeling and the price was great as you don’t use a lot.

It just left his hair silky feeling and you could run your fingers right through it. If I could give this 10000000 stars I would! Definitely but this a million times over!.

I am writing this review because this product actually caused me very severe tooth and gum PAIN that lasted for possibly hours. I can only say that I used a Qtip to apply it on a sore tooth gum area and it did numb that area right away for about less than a minute.

At first, I thought, Thank Goodness!-then I went to sit down in the livingroom and the pain came back in a way I wasn’t aware could be so bad. It brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t do anything but try to pray and wait out the severe burning and throbbing.

It lasted a very long time. I have the Orajel Mouth Rinse and have used it a few times. It works okay. I personally think my Crest Mouthwash does a better job. So does my Colgate Extra Sensitive Total Repair Toothpaste.

The Orajel Mouth Rinse does not cause me extra pain. It makes me a bit queasy and I’m not sure if it’s okay even if I don’t swallow any of it. The Alcohol level seems a bit high. Anyway, I suggest the Orajel Mouth Rinse over this Orajel numbing.

I guess tons of people love it but for me, it caused me SEVERE PAIN. Far more pain than I used the gel to get rid of. If that makes sense.

if u got a bad toothache use this Red Cross toothache it will get rid of your toothache i had a really bad toothache when i use the orajel mouthwash that doesnt even work for my toothache so thats when i went to Walmart and i bought this Red Cross toothache remedy i use the q-tip instead for the small cotton ball that came with it i dip my q-tip inside the small bottle and i put in my mouth and i bite down the q-tip lightly and hold it for like 45 second next thing u know the pain has gone away….

Great for toothache. Numbs the sore tooth has medicine for the removal of bacteria. Since I came down with an abscess tooth can’t get to the dentist till 2moro. Dentist prescribed antibiotic pain meds, Only thing that helps temporarily is Ora gel ice pack.

Oragel does the job for any tooth ache. Numbs it for temporary relief. Although clove oil is much stronger this works for minor tooth problems. The boyfriend uses it all the time. It works on all ages I highly recommend this product to anyone no other brand compares!.

This product does wonders for me! I suffer with inflamed gums where it is sometimes hard to eat because of the pain! After putting this on it provides enough comfort for me to eat. It’s a great price and easy to find at any drugstore! I wouldn’t be able to live without it!!!.

Nothing worse than having healthy teeth that have been ground down to nubs because of long term bruxism. Due to the fact that I was seeing a quack dentist for years when young who was using me for a “Cash Cow” he just let the situation fester.

By the time it was correctly diagnosed and I started wearing a night guard the damage was done. For awhile on and off I was hesitant to use night guards for fear of choking or swallowing on one. Now that I’m an older gent I have no choice but to wear one.

I have done everything I can to save what teeth I have left. On and off I suffer something awful. My hygiene program is rigorous. Never have cavities anymore but the ground down teeth, especially one that I have to avoid are unpredictable.

Nasty way to live. There is really nothing left for the dentists to work with so it’s either have all of them pulled, or just learn to live with discomfort to varying degrees. At least with cavities you can have them fixed.

This works okay. It doesn’t last very long, likely due to saliva just rinsing it away. It does work a little better if you try to dry out the area you’re applying to first, but it’s really not very effective for a real toothache.

This stuff would work on very minor aches and pains, and also works great for burns in the mouth (most people don’t realize that! If you burn your tongue pop some Orajel on it for a minute) but this brand has come out with some better products with the same active ingredient that last longer and are easier to apply/more functional and practical.

I still keep a tube of this handy though because when all else fails, this can at least take the edge off even if only for a minute or two, you know when you have a tooth ache a minute or two even is sweet relief!.

I don’t have a CLUE what kinds of issues people are having here that are so callous as to discourage others in pain from buying this product – but don’t B;isten to the 1 star hystericalist “Walmart Shopper” saying this product is “Fake” and underhandedly marketing a false product @ you using “Buzz Words” whatever that means.

This oral rinse is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Its purpose is to aid in dislodgeing debris while offering soothing & pain relief quickly! It 100% does that and then some! Most mouth washes hurt or agitate open nerve tooth issue but this stuff is a GODSEND! Obviously its not an end all, i supplement with night-time orajel & bam, I can sleep right away bc there are no aches & no pains! Can’t recommend this enough – it’s AMAZING!.

Just bought this and want to take it back for a refund, because the “Ready Open Cap” is subpar. Better to have a screw off with a “Ready Tube”!!! Very frustrating! I hope it actually works. if/when I get it open.

The Orajel Medicated For Toothache & Gum Liquid comes in a 0. 45 fl oz bottle so it’s quite small. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, as it only takes a dab to the area. It comes with the lid plastic wrapped and is in a small hard glass bottle.

To use, I dabbed a qtip in the liquid and applied it to the area. It did take a minute, but was relatively fast acting. Unfortunately, the taste wasn’t great but it did tremendously help the pain of canker sores.

I applied it a couple minutes before eating so that the food and teeth rubbing wouldn’t hurt so bad. I was able to eat like normal without having to avoid certain foods or eat a certain way. I will definitely use the Orajel medicated liquid again for any irritation in my mouth.

I’ve been using this product for years, when your gums or so sore from dentures I’ve found that Benzodent is the best; it calms the pain and make those gums feel sooooo good. I love it. I learned about it years ago on the Web.

searching for the best thing that could sooth sore sensitive gums and one person said she found Benzodent worked for her, I tried it, and been using it every since because it worked for me. I like the new tube it comes in now that’s a great improvement.

This product is very helpful if you have dentures and they cut in the back or front of your gums. I bought 2 tubes it only takes a little bit. Just place it on the effected areas wait a few minutes then place your dentures back in.

This stops your dentures from cutting any more.

I have never found such a great relief for partial denture pain like this before! I have prescription numbing mouth wash, and I’ve tried everything I could find OTC and pharmacist referred, nothing compares to this.

The best way I have found to use it is to put it on the actual partial or whole denture where it rubs your gums raw. If you put it on the gums it tends not to stay very long even if you dry your gums first.

Very good gel it’s very numbing just like having the injection at the dentist. Was surprised it worked so well. Definitely a must have in the first aid cabinet. Especially whilst it’s hard to get a dentist appointment.
