I will not recommend this bed until they resurface the rough wood slats. I had to lay it out carefully so as not to get splinters. Anyway it’s hidden under the mattress. That problem is negated by the overall craftsmanship of the bed.

It has a beautiful redwood finish, unlike the unfinished rough pine slats it came with that must have been made from the outskirts of China. The rest of the cherry wood is impeccable and great planning and expertise must have been given to how it would be assembled because it’s easier than putting together a Leggo.

I assembled it in less than 30min and after it was done, I was really proud how it looked and how I accomplished it so easily based from the very detailed and easy to follow instruction.

I ordered the full size platform. Fast delivery. Arrived before the estimated date. Very easy to put together; took only 10 minutes. All I needed was a Philips screwdriver to make sure the bolt for the spacers wouldn’t move when tightening the wingnuts.

So far i haven’t had an issue with my mattress sliding around; like ive seen mentioned in other platform frame reviews. I’m very pleased with this product. And love the clearance I have under the platform for storage.

Not really anything I can nitpick with this product. It’s exactly as described and holds up to my expectations.

I purchased this for my daughter to go with a new mattress we just purchased from Walmart. We opted for this type, since we didn’t have or want a box spring at her new mattress’s size. This frame was affordable and very sturdy, It arrive partly assembled and i had it un-boxed and put together in about 5 minutes, it was super easy and came with any tools needed.

It seems really sturdy and the spacing for the slats seems good. She loves her new bed and we’re really happy with our purchase.

Fit full size mattress perfectly! Doesn’t squeak. Easy to assemble. Easy to move to clean under bed. Doesn’t scratch floors. Because of this platform base, I was able to get rid of squeaky, heavy and dust collecting old box spring and heavy frame.

I also have this platform base for a twin bed in my home and love that one too. Well priced and worth every dollar.

I can’t believe I’m reviewing a box spring but this thing is so much better than I expected. It came shipped broken down but it was very easy to assemble. The parts are well machined so everything just slipped into place.

It even had a little ratchet to tighten the bolts. There’s Velcro to keep the slats in place. The cover fit perfectly. It’s sturdy and silent. I’m just astonished at how nice this thing is.

I love this pressed powder base and have used it for years. Because I have combination skin, I tend to get oily on the chin during the So. CA. Summer months, so I cannot wear all of the liquid foundations used so far: Chanel, Tom Ford, etc.

, and use this as my go-to foundation. It gives good coverage and a natural glo that enhances your skin. I would not recommend it for those with acne or birth marks because I don’t believe that it would give the coverage needed, but for everyone else this is a gem and it stays on well and does not irritate my skin.

Even in my 70’s, I still get compliments on my skin. This product was originally recommend by my dermatologist’s office and it comes in so many shades that I can’t imagine someone not being able to find the perfect match for their skin! I am not a sun worshiper; have med.

light skin, and use the Golden Dark shade (don’t let the “dark” scare you); it merely gives a soft warmth to the skin. ).

I was so excited to try this base because of great reviews, but it was some of the worst makeup ever. I have used better drugstore brands. Definitely isn’t medium coverage. I will continue to use other brands, but I will never purchase this base again.

The color isn’t anywhere close. I did the color match with the company site prior to ordering. This is in NO way the fault of Lovelyskin. com. This is just a terrible product! The eyeshadow set I got from Glo was fabulous, but don’t waste money on the pressed base.

The materials are good, the packaging and expected construction process are empathetically designed for the customer. Unlike IKEA style platforms, however, this platform has no overlapping edge to hold the mattress in place, so be sure to order a good mattress with some weight.

We chose a NapQueen Victoria 10″ Hybrid Mattress and it works well. The hybrid mattresses are much less expensive than the ‘known’ types, but our sense is that it should provide good support and do the job for 5-8 years.

It is both comfortable and firm. Zinus platform beds do include a kind of unsophisticated way of holding a lighter mattress in place by allowing the user to peel back a strip of paper on two of the support slats, revealing a semi-sticky surface.

I’m not sure it will continue to work over time, but again, with the heavier mattress, a user will have no issues. If you are worried about the middle legs needed to support the side rails, I was too.

It tends to indicate lower quality, but we bought a full-sized bed (nice for less expensive sheets and more variety and makes rooms look bigger too), and we use European-style comforters (duvets) in queen size that hang over the platform by 8 inches or so.

The legs are nice bits of wood however, and do not look cheap. So, if you need a sturdy, relatively inexpensive bed with warm brown tones that can look formal or casual, this one will do the job.

I thought I loved this. I really enjoyed the transition to powder foundation at first. Upon application it looks good (really good) but it settles into every pore and just looks awful as the day goes on.

I used it for a few months and it just didnt work for me anymore. If you have baby smooth skin Id say give it a try. The product it self has great coverage and feels good on the skin.

I am BEYOND devastated that this UV protective powder foundation is being dis continued!!! I just recently discovered & it’s by far the best powder foundation I have ever used. Having mature aging, plus oily skin with large pores, it is very difficult to find a powder foundation that doesn’t accentuate pores & wrinkles.

I don’t know what’s going on with Shisheido, It puzzles me and countless others why they took Advanced Hydro Liquid Foundation off their line up. It’s the best complete coverage and smoothest foundation they have.

I know it was selling as well because every time I went to buy a refill they were always sold out. Now they have these inferior products for replacements and they don’t quite compare. So disappointed.

I’ve been using Shisheido for years but now I’ve been shopping for replacements for skin care and makeup products. Bring back those products that works.

I ordered the Absolue BX Liquide Makeup Foundation in Ecru 130 NC about a week ago. I am 70 years old, and this was the foundation recommended online by the beauty advisor. I have applied it with fingers, with a foundation brush, and with my Beauty Blender to try to get the lightest coverage, have tried it over moisturizer and over bare skin – and I still don’t like it.

Far from smoothing out fine lines and imperfections, it seems to highlight every flaw. It goes on very shiny no matter the method of application, although the Beauty Blender was the best for getting it as sheer as possible.

Maybe it’s just a shade or two too dark for my winter–pale skin (I am a fair-skinned, light to medium tone, but easily tanned brunette). To make matters worse, the online advisor also recommended the powder in “Peche” shade, which she said would “give a soft glow.

” In fact, it just added more shine! It is very shimmery. A loose translucent setting powder probably would have been a better choice. “Peche” is nice as a highlighting powder with just a little touch on checkbones, but all over the face, for me it’s a “no.

” The Absolue BX Foundation did stay on all day, and it feels nice on the skin. I have used Lancome products off and on for over 40 years, and this is the first time I have been so disappointed in anything.

Unfortunately due to the epidemic, the store will not take it back, so I guess I’m stuck. Will try the foundation again next summer once I’m more tan, but for now, it’s not the product for me.

I have been using this formula and shade for many years. Lightweight, good coverage, moisturizing but not oily, perfect shade. It has been out of stock for several months at Dillards, Macy’s and even lancome.

com. Now I’m finding out it is being discontinued. I have tried several other formulas by other cosmetic companies and nothing comes close. Lancome did this same thing many years ago with Aquacils mascara.

Never did find a good replacement for that. Please stop discontinuing products that everyone loves.

Giving this 5 stars simply because the look of this on my skin is phenomenal, however, the powder kickback is a bit much and I try to mitigate that by pressing in my brush and going directly to my skin and applying it very slowly and mindfully.

It still kicks up a lot of powder but it may be impossible to get rid of that and keep the amazing formula and look/finish of this on the skin. So I will take the kick back if I have to since this product is SO DARN GOOD (for me).

I am almost 54; and when your 25 year old daughter comes in and says “WOW your face looks amazing mom, what do you have on and will you get me one?” you know it is GOOD. I typically have a ruddy complexion so the difference between me in a little mineral powder and me without is pretty noticeable (unless you are my husband who doesn’t seem to notice-ha!).

I have used this product for as long as I can remember (not long after it first came out) and gave up makeup altogether for about 10 years while my kids were little but came back as I got older and just needed a little something to even out my skin tone.

I have other powders that I love and I also use the Amazing base but the colors of the pressed in my tone (warm) are more yellow; which I absolutely LOVE. I do not use primer but I do use a little rosewater as a spritz.

I know everyones skin is different and not everyone will love this product but for me it is one of my Holy Grails.

I absolutely love this base foundation! I used an older version of the press foundation from Jane Iredale in a shade that didn’t correct my undertone, but since buying the correct undertone, I can finally cover dark patches! Also the coverage is amazing, with a little going a long way.

I can honestly say hands down this is the best I’ve used. Lightweight, excellent coverage and makes me look like I’m not even wearing make up. I use the Jane Iredale setting spray, which gives me a dewy look instead of a matt look and love it.

It use to smell like oranges which I loved but this time I’m not so sure about the smell. The foundation doesn’t smell like anything which I prefer. I don’t like perfumed cosmetics.

Why is this so expensive? I just need to understand the thought process behind the price point as this is a tiny tube for what you pay for. If you’re an everyday makeup wearer, this won’t last you but maybe 2 weeks or a little longer! I haven’t used this but 5 times and I’m almost out! I don’t go heavy handed, either! This doesn’t take a lot to cover, plus you want it to feel light on your skin.

I love this because it covers so well, is smooth when putting on, easy to blend (in which I use my fingers or a brush) and it stays on long while! The color I purchased is a perfect match. I’m just saddened that I’ll have to make another purchase of this because the rest isn’t going to last long.

I wanted to mention that I get oily in my T-Zone area – which in this case the foundation has to be touched up in those areas by an hour in. But. for me it is like that with most foundations as I have combo skin and nothing I use foundation/setting powder/setting spray wise does its full job in the T-Zone area.

The best foundation. I really love this texture with spf. Perfect match with my skin because of the Lancome foundation tool. I found this formula to be less heavy and less cakes than other stick foundations I have tried.

The formula applied effortlessly and provided good coverage without needing to apply lots of product. It felt like it melted onto my skin almost. It looked like my skin and gave me a radiant soft matte finish.

I found it left my skin feeling velvety and soft after application. I also found this formula to be buildable, which was nice in areas where I had a bit more redness or blemishes to lessen the appearance of.

I would most definitely purchase this product in the future and would highly recommend it to friends or family.

This foundation has great coverage it can also be sheared out. I got this because it being a cream I thought it would be moisturizing for dry skin. However, it will accentuate dry patches you didn’t know you had.

Definitely not for dry skin. I’ve tried using it in many different ways but it’s just not for me. I have dry flaky skin. I do moisturize , exfoliate use very high end products a foundation brush or sponge.

One good thing is that it does NOT settle into fine lines. I would recommend this to anyone with normal to oily skin. Dry skin individuals definitely no.

I needed to cover a scar — CS Ultimate Foundation was recommended — wow! It not only accomplished that task, it’s also the best all-purpose foundation I’ve found. Very controllable application, buildable for the coverage you desire, and never gives you that “embalmed” look! Feels very light on your skin, doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts, and great choice of shades to get a perfect match.

I was using a standardly available two piece foldable platform for my mattress and it felt shaky, lumpy and squeaked with the barest of movements. I searched the internet for weeks trying to find something stable, solid and functional in the California King size – which is not easy to find! I found the ghost bed ad online and proceeded to read every single available review and thought that it might be too good to be true.

It’s not !! This ghost bed All-in-one foundation is not only the most comfortable, it’s also very solid/well constructed one I have had the privilege to sleep on. The mattress is supported firmly without feeling hard, there are no lumps, no noises and no movements or feelings of instability.

The construction takes about 40 minutes from open box to fully assembled. I recommend reviewing all pieces and instructions prior to starting assembly. Other than one section where I had thought I misunderstood the instructions regarding the middle support- it was a smooth process.

The kit comes with the two little wrenches needed to complete assembly and it is easy to do- just review everything and lay out the parts before you start. I got in bed that first night and promptly went right to sleep.

I haven’t had any issues since- my sleep quality is even better than I could have expected. This basic foundation is well worth the price and I would not only absolutely purchase it again, I have plans to purchase another for my spare room.

Purchased two of the All-in-one-foundation for my bed and guest bed, which have the same dense, middle-grade foam mattresses on them. I wasn’t sure if the mattresses needed replacement (both 10 years old, queen) but was hesitant to replace them because they are in excellent shape.

It would have been expensive and a huge hassle because of location in the house (narrow staircase). I went the cheap way out and decided to replace both foundations. My handyman watched the assembly video to help assemble the first one; no need to watch for the second one.

Everything came in a medium size box so that was an advantage for my situation. The best part… both mattresses now feel exactly how I have always wanted my mattress to feel…. super firm, not hard, no creaking.

I don’t normally like to give a review for at least 6 months. Truly what can you know about any product before 6 months. In reality you can’t know much. But since Ghost bed needs me to answer right now or it’s my last chance I can say.

Shipping was fast, it was pretty easy to assemble but I could write more comprehensive instructions. Glad they had the video but it too lacked detail. The frame SEEMS solid, they give us the ability to adjust the height 3″ which is nice.

With regards to squeaking, if none of the plastic breaks I don’t think squeaking will be an issue. I appreciate the fact there’s no wood involved, wood on wood will squeak at some point. We were on a typical king bed foundation which creates a high center, this frame alleviates that issue.

For longevity I know not for appreciation of build quality I say yes!.

I have combo skin, as the day goes on oily in the T zone and the rest of my face is normal to dry. I hated this foundation because it was drying and heavy makeup-y looking on the skin until I found a different way to use it (mix it).

First of, I’ve been on a foundation hunt ever since EL double wear light hydra foundation was discontinued (it was my ride or die) and I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to find something that made me feel good in my skin and the task had been hard, and finally I looked over at the original EL double wear collecting dust and how everyone loves it I was like what do I have to lose, I gave it another chance in a different way.

Most important thing to do first is to prep and hydrate the skin. I use the Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer and Mario Badescu Facial Spray my fav is the Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea.

Let that sink in a little into the skin. And here the my magic key mixture that gave me beautiful with the EL double wear. MIX the foundation with a drop of the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum (I use a makeup palette and spatula , on pump of foundation and a drop of serum and mix very well! Add less serum to see how you like it because you can always add more , Vs take away ).

With the mix, The foundation becomes hydrated and so smooth to apply and looks just like skin ! Also, I love the EL shade range they blend beautifully with the skin so foundation looks seamless. This was a game changer.

My skin isn’t drying in this anymore and it has a healthy natural finish. The longevity is completely kept intact with the serum just like EL double wear is famous for and it’s just perfect combination.

Please try this if Double Wear has not worked before for you. Shade: 1N1 but I will be ordering 1N2 as this one is just a hint too light. The serum I had as a sample. This is why it’s so small. I will be ordering a bottle of it.

This is my BY FAR FAVORITE foundation. I’ve come back to review this for the 2nd time now, last time was in November after using for a month to see how I liked it and wanted to see if it would break me out before reviewing, etc.

but I’ve just been unable to find another foundation like this one! To start off, I have really dry, eczema skin. but if you use a moisturizer and some setting spray on your face before putting this on, you will be fine if your skin is like mine.

So, I had run out of this foundation at the beginning of the year, I should’ve ordered when I was getting low but I was unaware that they don’t carry this one in the ulta stores, so I finished off the remainder of this too faced foundation I had (not the same but works good) and that started getting low so I went into my local ulta to see if I could maybe find something similar to it.

Nothing similar but a worker recommended a Smashbox matte foundation for me since I have dry skin. and I returned in within 2 days because I just couldn’t. it enlarged my pores and had barely any coverage at all.

So I was out of town and went and visited another ulta, hoping I could return that one and find this foundation, they didn’t have it either! So I settled with too face again but got a shade too dark.

So now I have to return yet again (ulta is about to be sick of me lol) but I’m almost thinking about returning this, and going foundationless for a while until I can order this and have it come in the mail.

Too faced is great, don’t get me wrong it’s definitely my 2nd choice, but nothing seems to compare to this foundation and will always be my favorite. It can withstand heat, humidity and sweat, all while making your face look flawless (not exaggerating).

My forever favorite. I would never come back and review something for a 2nd time. but now that I’m without it and have had to the other foundations again, I am seeing that I need to not go without this foundation again!.

I am so glad I decided to give this a try! I finally found the PERFECT product for me. I have been trying to ease into foundations and such because I never really used them, but at *cough* 33 now I am starting to show some uneven pigment and texture so I wanted something to smooth things out without going overboard and doing a “full face” of makeup.

I have never liked liquid foundations because it’s yet another thing to blend or if I use my hands then it’s another thing to wash off and the scents are often off-putting and the coverage is always too much for me.

So then I tried some BB and CC creams and felt the coverage was too minimal and still the same issues of the typical liquid foundation. I also have tried other powder foundations and cream foundations and didn’t like any of them either.

I found them to be too dry-looking or streaky. I also bought an airbrush spray foundation but I found it difficult to apply evenly and with light coverage. Basically nothing was working for me and I was throwing money away trying so many products only to have them gather dust or get moved to my least used makeup bag.

I still wanted something to kinda smooth out my skin though so I kept searching. Finally I decided to buy this Too Faced cocoa powder foundation a few days ago because I love Too Faced in general, especially all their scented products (they just put me in a good mood lol) and I love the packaging (some of the cutest packing in the makeup industry imo) and then all the rave reviews.

I was scared because it’s a bit pricey and I never return things (even though I am aware Sephora is really good about that and makes it so easy), but I bought it anyway. Thankfully other reviews had mentioned the colors run a bit dark so I bought the lightest color even though I’d usually pick the second-lightest for most makeup brands.

It ended up being a perfect match for my skintone. It smells delicious, it goes on light and even and doesn’t show up powdery or streaky. It feels soft and smooth. I am probably going to use this product for the rest of my life now.

And the package is just so chic, so elegant. I am in love. SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS! ♥.

Ok so I have avoided makeup for many years but as I get older I wanted something and my creative side is coming out, well of course foundation is the starting point. I’d always preferred powders but have dry/combo skin prone to breakouts.

Now I’m seeing pores and fine lines ugh so the usual drugstore powder was a no go. This powder is perfect for dry/combo skin (I moisturize beforehand and use a serum) and somehow my forehead lines and pores disappear with it.

I am so in love and glad I found this. I had to guess my shade since no place around me has it but the golden light was perfect. Mac concealer NW20, I have pink and yellow tones, more pink on the face, more yellow on my body so hard to match! But this worked and matches my neck/chest and doesn’t turn orange.

Please never stop making this! Especially since I’ll need my summer color soon. I got the kabuki to go with it and wow, love that too, so so soft. Plan to try the other foundations and everything else too faced has to offer.

What a wonderful reintroduction back into makeup. Thanks again Too Faced! I’ll be back for lots more! Oh and it smells great and feels so smooth, doesn’t look flakey at all. 10 stars.

I have extremely oily skin especially on my forehead and nose. This foundation has no problem staying on throughout the whole day, even if I accidentally sleep with it on, it’s still pretty well on my face.

Despite it being a cream, I have never gotten any clogged pores or breakouts. I’ve been using it for about a year now and I haven’t used a different foundation since. It’s an amazing coverage. I wouldn’t say it’s completely full but it’s definitely enough to the point where you could skip concealer for your under eyes with this.

Light 1 is the shade I use because i’m a bit more pale and it’s absolutely stunning. Every drugstore or beauty store foundation has been too dark or orange/pink tinted while this just matches my skin so well!! Since i’m more oily I use a translucent setting powder to make a bit more matte and to have that extra stick onto my face but honestly it’s completely optional because it stays on amazingly well even without any setting spray, powder, or primer beforehand.

this stuff is lovely! as a rule, i don’t wear coverage makeup (foundation, concealer, the like) unless i’m in some kinda costume (whether that be drag or halloween), but i rather expect this would work wonderfully on a day-to-day basis as well.

a single layer looks wonderfully skin-like, but still packs a punch in terms of coverage. when i’ve tried to add more, it tends to start clumping and streaking, but take that with a grain of salt, as i’ve not spent much time playing with the product and finding out what works best for it.

speaking of which, you’re gonna want to set this with a spray, not a powder- the latter makes it clumpy as hell. if you don’t set it, it will transfer all over the place, so be warned! for the record, i have sensitive combo acne-prone skin that flakes like nothing else, not helped by my excoriation disorder.

this stuff is creamy enough that it melts right into the skin, and actually doesn’t cling to dry patches or uneven texture. a little goes a long way, and for the price, there is a hell of a lot of product in the pot.

if you’re on the fence, it’s worth giving it a try!.

I’d heard so much about the Mehron clebre foundations and always wanted to try them. I’d searched all over the web and being in Canada was difficult to find these without a huge shipping fee. Then I saw a video recommending Camera Ready Cosmetics and immediately went to the site.

I found everything I was looking for and a reasonable shipping fee! This foundation lives up to its claims. I’m 54 yrs old with normal/ oily t zone with dry patches on cheeks. This foundation is just beautiful.

It ends out like a dream, high coverage, not drying at all and leaves a gorgeous subtle glow. I tried it with a brush- beautiful. Tried it with my fingers- beautiful. Tried it with a sponge-PERFECTION.

It is extremely buildable and doesn’t look cakey when you layer it. I set it with Ben Nye powder and it stayed all day, 10 hrs. I live in a cold dry climate so I can’t say how it will hold up it humid hot weather but if you set it I think it will be fine.

I purchased 3 shades and shade 2 medium is my perfect match. I use this shade mixed with shade 1 medium for under my eyes and it’s just so pretty and use this shade alone for a subtle highlight in the centre of forehead and down the nose.

I’m so happy with these products I’ll never go back to regular foundations. I’ve paid up to 80$ for liquid foundations and none of them hold a candle to this. I’m a NC 20 in Mac and 4 in Charlotte Tilbury flawless foundation and medium 2 here is my perfect match.

The rest of my makeup layered beautifully over it, bronzer, blush and used a final spritz of morphe continuous setting spray and my skin has honestly never looked better. I have very large pores and used my professional to prime and this foundation went on top absolutely stunning.

I can’t say enough good things about it. The shade range is the best I’ve seen when it comes to undertones and you will find a perfect match. This is now my holy grail and for the price I feel like I’m stealing the product! If you have a lot to cover, redness, broken capillaries, pigmentation, mature skin, then look no further.

1st things 1st: I love this product. My skin has changed recently due to age and chronic illness. So, I’ve been looking for a product for a year that would look and feel right as well as be good for my skin.

My journey started when I looked up what my favorite soap actress, Laura Wright (General Hospital), wears on her face because it always looks so good. The result was finding this makeup and learning a lot about make up itself.

I do not usually buy things because a celebrity wears it. It seems pretty silly to me, usually, lol. But I’m glad I got beyond that this time. The first thing I noticed is that it does not come in a box and the bottle looks kind of clinical.

As if it came from the dermatologist. I am personally happy with the company spending the money on the product and not the packaging. The first bottle I bought was too dark. I originally went to the website and did their tutorial.

It told me to buy beige. I thought it might be too dark by looking at it online. But I tried it anyway. It was really way too dark. I kept it and decided I would use it for contouring when I needed just a little shading.

I then bought Opal, which I thought would be better and I was right. It was perfect for my skin. It is very creamy, very nice texture. It does have a slight chemically odor that leaves as it dries. It melts in nicely.

It is easy to blend, and it dries nicely. Heads up: Let it dry completely before making up your mind. I think if I was to do it over, I would order their 10$ sample card. It does look a little different as it dries.

There are not a lot of colors. However, you can custom blend 2 together. This is an expensive foundation, but VERY worth it. You won’t use as much because of its consistency, and it dries feeling like you have something on, but light and feels like skin.

It seems to wear well, and my skin feels firm in it. This is going to be my go-to for nights out or when I want to look special. I will keep my bb cream for daily wear. However, You could absolutely use it every single day.

It is not heavy or greasy. It is GOOD for your skin. It helps it to retain oxygen and moisture. It has salicylic acid, so you won’t break out. It was developed for on-screen activity, so it is durable and long lasting.

Again, do not let the money discourage you. TRY THIS STUFF!.

This is the best foundation EVER!!! Because of Covid and masks, I developed a skin condition called perioral dermatitis. I tried sooo many foundations, like literally no joke 30 foundations from younique to everything at ulta and Sephora! Everything made my rash worst and had so many additives in them.

This is the only one that doesn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores or make my face rash worst. It covers amazing with a couple applications. I got the taupe, I’m blonde and have a medium skin tone and it blends amazing.

It does seem pricey but I use it about 3/4 days a week when I go to the office and so far one bottle has lasted me a month. I ordered a second for when I run out but depending on how much you use it it will last a month at least.
