20 Best Home Dry Cleaning Kit (2023 Updated)

I loved this! Answer to my prayers, especially since I’ve started cleaning my clothes even prior to first wear! I love how this works with the spot cleaner, spray for underarm and other areas. The steaming method gives confidence the clothes are actually cleaned and not just infused with perfume.

Also I love the smell, not too strong but makes my drawers and closet smell great! Also no irritating plastic and wire hangers to deal with!! Much cheaper per garment…did I say I love this!.

Since I have an allergy to most fragrances, I like this one. I also like how it cleaned everything but my rayon Karen Kane blouse. I used the stain remove on a couple of small spots with no clue what it was or how it got there.

First time cleaning. I ended up with the stain remaining with holes in my $128. blouse. Thank God I got it on sale. Yet a lot to lose. I wish I had used the dry cleaners as I’ve always done.

Bought this only for the stain pen as I purchased a brand new dry clean only sweater that arrived with stains. Used it on two things so far and I really wish I had waited for one to dry before doing the other as now both items have lighter areas where I used the stain remover pen.

I’m so aggravated as I read multiple good reviews about how amazing the stain pen was. Don’t waste your money, now I’m out both the cost of the clothes.

I like this Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaner System. You can make your clothes last longer by using this system. The booster spray that comes in the box is fantastic for stains. I use it on any clothes that have stains, not just the dry clean only.

The cleaning cloths that come in the box also work wonders. This system works because you pretreat with the booster spray (if needed), then you put garments in the bag provided and put one of the cleaning cloths that come in the box.

You then steam it by putting it in your dryer. I recommend this product, and I will continue to purchase it.

This product cleans well and leaves a pleasant scent. If your cloth cleaning bag begins to take on a dark color wash it in warm or hot water with a little oxy clean and detergent. I have been using this product for years with great results.

it is great for blazers and the spot pen really does remove stains. I always use my spray bottle and dampen the items before I put them in the bag. They will come out clean and ready to hang if you get them out immediately when the dryer goes off.

30-40 minutes is all that is necessary but say for example for winter jackets I may keep them in for 50 minutes. I don’t have any complaints about this product except that some of the older packages have cleaning bags with plastic inside.

I do not like these bags because you can not wash them.

Pleasant fragrance. Easy on sensitive skin. Save money and time on dry cleaning, Depending on the weight/size of the clothing items, can put more than one clothing items in the Dryel zip up bag, and recommend cleaning the dark colors in separate bag from the lighter colors for best results.

Dryell sheets are an effective, easy and economical way to dry clean at home. Their system includes a bag and cleaning sheets. Its great for refreshing clothes. I dont use the stain remover. This product has refills of the sheets.

I own two 3-piece suits, which I wear occasionally. Dept store off-the-rack. Maybe $800 or so each (cpl yrs back lol). One black. One gray. And an extra pair black dress trousers. Followed directions.

I did NOT pretreat any spots with the included wipes. Buttoned all garments and tossed in dryer. First, I cleaned all black items, 4 pieces. Then, the gray, 3 pieces, separately. Ran each load 20 mins at medium heat.

Immediately removed from dryer upon end of cycle. THE GOOD: No stains or discoloration on any garments. No unusual or strong scent as other reviewers claim. Only a very very mild clean scent, which I barely could notice.

Garments look nice on hangers. Sort of a semi-pressed appearance. Good enough for me. Nice clean look. Ready to wear immediately. THE BAD: (Not really bad) I had a small spot on the black jacket. Upon cleaning, the spot was still there.

However, I rubbed the spot with my finger and it seemed to disappear. I can no longer see that spot. THE UGLY: Nothing. CONCLUSION: So, I spent about $9 at Walmart. This product is readily available on Walmart’s shelf.

Enough to do 6 loads of dry cleaning, up to 5 garments per load. For 9 bucks, both suits now have a bit fresher look. Clean. Ready to wear. Ran the loads while I occupied myself at home. No need to leave the house.

And, I have enough product left for 4 more loads. Do not expect miracles. I suggest definitely pre-treating any obvious heavy stains with the included wipes, prior to placing garments in dryer. For my casual wear, this product is worth the cost.

Cheap, easy and simple. A good combo. Highly Recommended SIDE NOTE: i initially ordered this exact product from AMAZON. Same price. Was promised next day delivery. Never happened! Delivery never arrived.

I checked AMAZON. Sure enough, product is “delayed”. AMAZON stated product “may arrive in a day”. Further quiry revealed product still not shipped. I cancelled order. This is def not my first disappointing order from AMAZON.

Like I said, above, Walmart carries this product every day.

Okay, I’m shook! I’ve been taking my clothes to the dry cleaners for years, but the cost was killing me! Did some research and found this product online! All I can say is, “Wow!” Tonight I did three loads with five garments in each load.

Other than one blazer that came out with some wrinkles, everything looked great!! I can’t believe I’m just now realizing there is a product like this on the market! 15 garments at my local dry cleaners would have cost approximately $150! Three of these sheets and bam — they’re done! Cannot recommend this product enough!!.

So I got this because of the pandemic, I thought great, I won’t have to leave to go to the dry cleaner. What I failed to think about is that not leaving my house also meant I wasn’t wearing much dry-clean only clothing! Now that I am back to work I have had the opportunity to use it & am very happy with the result.

It does a great job of refreshing the clothes & removing small spots & stains. I think if I had something precious that was very badly stained (like a silk gown) I would probably still take it to a professional, but this basically eliminates my need to ever go to the dry cleaner on a regular basis.

This is especially wonderful because the dry cleaner in my town is always behind schedule and it usually takes stopping to pick things up 2-3 times to actually get your clothes. I was really amazed by how easy this was, I expected it to be much more of a process but you really just wipe any spots & throw it in the dryer.

I will say with some clothes you are definitely going to want to also own a steamer (which I do) to remedy wrinkles, but I steam most things before wearing so this isn’t an issue for me.

I haven’t opened my most recent order yet, but I’ve used Dryel for years with very good results. The cost of dry cleaning can be costly and in winter maintaining sweaters and woolens can become a large expense.

This is a great product and deffinitly has its place in my laundry room. There are to many clothes that are dry clean only that I would never pay to dry clean and this is a great alternative. It’s important to follow the directions.

And I like to hang the clothes in the bathroom after to air out so my whole closet doesn’t smell like the product.

I had high expectations when I purchased Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaning System. I had the idea that this product would eliminate the use of a Professional Dry Cleaner. I am often using a Dry Cleaner for pants suits and sweaters and decided to give this product a try.

It’s a very simple system, there’s a bag, wet sheets and stain remover that works great on stains like ink marks and food. The first time I used it I followed the directions, I put the clothing in the bag with the wet sheet and used medium heat in the dryer for 30 minutes.

I used the stain remover on a stain on my pants and when I got it out of the dryer I could tell right away that my clothing had been freshened up, the stain was gone out of the pants and there was very few wrinkles.

This cleaning system eliminates odors and gives my clothing a fresh clean scent. I recommend using a stain remover before you use heat because I’ve noticed that heat will help set in any stains I have on clothing.

I think it helps prolong going to the Dry Cleaners, making it possible to wear items about 4 times between professional dry cleaning. But it cannot replace what a dry cleaner does but it will extend the amount of time between dry cleaning visits.

It’s a great system but I have had to lower my expectations, it’s nice to have and if you grow tired of having to drop clothes off for dry cleaning every week like I do, this system has cut my visits in half by allowing me to clean my own clothing at home.

For the price of this kit, I highly recommend trying it out. It has saved me money over the year.

Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaning is a great concept in theory but not so wonderful in practice. I bought a kit to try saving money on dry cleaning costs because I like to buy second-hand gowns and resell them online.

Often times such dresses were only worn one time for a wedding or prom then donated to a thrift store without having been washed. Formal wear is extremely pricey to dry clean so an at-home kit sounded too good to be true.

Unfortunately, it was. Keep in mind that I never attempted to use it on anything sequined or ornate. Just a few simple slinky dresses. I learned right away that it doesn’t really clean anything. It just seams to freshen it up a bit.

So don’t try to use it on anything soiled. It will not remove smells of body odor, cigarettes or cat pee either. On one occasion I opened the bag (that comes with the starter kit) to find that the dryel sheet had actually stuck to the dress while it was in the dryer.

When I peeled it away I discovered a pretty hideous watermark-like stain. I actually had to pay for a professional dry-cleaning service to clean up after my attempt at home dry cleaning. Not a proud moment for me.

Think twice before tempting fate with Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaning.

I have several friends who swear by Dryel At Home Dry Cleaning for “in between” freshening. Their constant praise piqued my interest and so I purchased the product. The first thing I noticed was that I had to pay full price because none of the coupon sites that I checked when prior to going out to buy the product had any dryel coupons.

I don’t know if this is the typical or if I just chose a bad time to check. That said, it was still not prohibitively expensive to give a try. I followed the directions, deciding to try it out on sweaters.

The directions are very straightforward and the process is not at all complex. That is a plus of the product. However, unlike my friends, I did not have the professional like results that they indicated they achieve with the Dryel system.

Rather, I didn’t really find that my sweaters seemed cleaned nor refreshed at a lever that I thought was acceptable. I ended up taking the sweater to the dry cleaner after my “experiment. ” I don’t know if my clothes were the wrong choice for use or whether they were too soiled for the product to be effective; but, I don’t think that I will be selecting this for future home dry cleaning.

I coupon shop, stock up when an item I use or need goes on sale. So, when I can save an enormous amount of money on dry cleaning, it makes me very happy. I also wear favorite classic clothing from 30-40 years ago, some of which needs dry cleaning.

So, instead of the $5-10 each dry cleaning costs, this product is an excellent substitution for dry cleaning day to day items in your very own dryer at home. Am very pleased with the results. As I am about to do, I usually save up all winter wools, linens and coats, the “dry clean” them in the Spring using Dryel packets–small things at my place, larger things (like my comforter bedspread at a laundromat–using three Dryels sheets in one of their big dryer machines).

You can do your own dry cleaning. In 30 minutes, everything smells fresh and clean. All my jeans go in the bag. All my sweaters go in the bag too. Best product on the market to use.

Have you tried this yet? Go ahead; it works. Dry cleaning is really expensive and hard on clothing. And who has time to drop off and pick up? So now the Dryel set up is available. Seems kind of scary to put woolens, delicates, etc in the DRYER! But you can do it; it does work.

Perfect for the in between cleanings, more convenient, less expensive. Have been doing this for awhile now. So far no bad outcomes.

I am fully satisfied using the “Dryel” for in home dry cleaning. I called so many dry cleaners for my suit and all could not get it done the next day. My brother called and informed me to dry the Dryel product so I did.

After following the directions from the box of Dryel I was impressed of how it came out. It smells good and the dirt came out very well. I recommend it to all.

This little kit surpassed my expectations. I feel like I no longer need to go to the dry cleaners. Especially since I have minimal items requiring dry cleaning. I placed two items in the bag and when it came out it felt cleaned and smelled amazing.

I am not sure if it is truly cleaning, but clothes are refreshed and havent seen any stains of any kind. So must be working. So much cheaper than dry cleaning.

The woolite home dry cleaning kit is fine, the scent is not my favorite, but works. BUT the OUT Wipes are some next level close up Vegas magic!!! The make up stain around my white shirt disappeared before my very eyes using these wondrous treasures!! Shout OUT to summit brands !! THANKS.

We no longer have drycleaners in our area so I was in a panic wondering what to do. My husband’s suits needed cleaning. A friend of mine told me about Woolite Dry Cleaning product. I bought two boxes.

I used one box to do my husbands 8 suits and WOW!!!! did they ever come out nice. I very readily give 5 stars to this product. I would give more stars if there were more.

For tough dry clean only jobs go to a pro. Otherwise, I really like these. Less expensive, easier to use and easier to find than Dryel. For light dry cleaning these are excellent.

I am a believer. The results are great. The local dry cleaner has ruined some of my top name brands and I cannot trust their methods. This is an alternative and so far a terrific experience.
