20 Best Home Device For Wrinkles (2023 Updated)

In the past I have tried many facial devices claiming to help with fine lines including light therapy and the dermawand. Not one has lived up the the claims. In fact they all did absolutely nothing. Nira is the first device that I actually saw results and a noticable improvement in fine lines but you have to be patient, it takes time.

The instructions state to give it 90 days so I waited so I could provide an honest review. I have used it once a day for the past 3 1/2 months. I worked up to setting 4 within the first 3 weeks. I stayed on level 4 the rest of the time.

It gets a little warm and I do not find it painful but you may if you are super sensitive. I began seeing noticable results on my 11 lines as well as in the eye area at the 10 week mark. I am very pleased with the Nira and continue to use it everyday.

I gave it 4 stars because it does take time to see results but for me it’s proven to be worth the cost and I would purchase it again.

I’m 50 and I’ve luckily got good skin, only a few forehead wrinkles and also crows feet when I smile, but unfortunately I’ve recently noticed sagging (jowls) which I absolutely hate. I chose this device due to having fibroblast plasma treatment a few years ago.

The results were instant and phenomenal. However, they it’s very expensive, very painful and there’s a very long recovery period. This laser works in a very similar way, but it doesn’t come with the downside of high cost, pain and long recovery.

Of course the results with this device aren’t instant, but over time it should be very efficient. I do have a low pain tolerance and I was a tad surprised when I first used it, but I did have it on the highest setting…ouch.

The other negative is it’s not a fast treatment, if you have a large area to cover. But, the results are fantastic and even after my first treatment I noticed my face looked firmer. I’ve only had it a few weeks, but I’m extremely grateful for the results.

It’s not horribly painful, but occasionally it does sting. I wanted to use it on the highest the fastest results and I can use it comfortably on my forehead on the top setting of 5, around my eyes on 2 and the rest of my face on 3.

Apart from an occasionally ouch. It’s a strange sensation, mainly warm and occasionally a hot sharpness. But, as you use it more, you will know your sensitive areas and when to turn it down. I’ve considered getting a tattoo numbing cream for the sensitive areas and then I can use it on the highest setting.

Don’t be concerned about it hurting, on level 1 & 2, there’s nothing except for a warm feeling. After zapping any area, it becomes red and a comfortable warmth. It takes about 45 mins before the redness completely disappears.

Not a treatment you’d use if you are planning on going out straight after. It’s extremely easy to use and fast considering it has a small laser. Simply hold it against your skin, it bleeps when done which is about less than 1 second and move to the next part.

It makes a funny noise if you don’t have full contact with the skin. It’s small and light which and easy to use. Despite using it regularly, I’ve not needed to charge it since day one. I have numerous facial devices, Nuface, Tripollar, Nira Ultrasound, Led mask and they all do different things and play a part, but if I could only have one, I it would be this laser, it penetrates deep and there are no ongoing costs with conductive gel or replacement parts.

Excellent device which will definitely gives results.

I purchased this straight from the Nira site and have had no issues with the unit. It holds its charge well and I just charge overnight when it needs it. Some people will have issues of skin drying with this especially if you start in the highest setting.

I wish people would ease into devices and give their skin time to acclimate before giving one star reviews. It DID dry my skin some at first. I have extremely dry skin to begin with and my skincare contains high dose retinol as well as glycolics.

I started low, and doing it about 3 days a week and worked my way up. I also changed moisturizers because if laser at low power was drying me out, my moisturizer wasn’t doing it’s job anyway. I use it off label for lip and marionette lines and oh wow has it helped.

It has also lightened my sun spots.

I am SO glad I invested in this product. I already had the LightStim for acne, which has completely sorted my cystic jaw acne which has troubled me for years. I purchased the LightStim for Wrinkles as I’m in my late 30’s, and my skin was looking super dehydrated and starting to lose volume.

I’ve also had awful perioral dermatitis around my nose / mouth, and had heard that red light therapy could help. Fast forward a couple of months, I’ve been using the LightStim every second night while watching TV, and my skin is transformed! No more perioral dermatitis, and my face is GLOWING.

I get so many compliments, and don’t need to wear foundation anymore. LOVE!!!.

It takes a long time to see results, but you definitely see them. I didn’t start seeing mine until about 6 weeks and the results are pretty amazing. After the first use, I woke up with my skin feeling tighter and my skin looking less dull but after continued use, the lines on my forehead are at least 50% less visible, same with my crow’s feet.

The dark circles under my eyes, I’d say I’ve seen a 30% improvement. I’m 39, I don’t have that many other wrinkles forming quite yet, but I do have a lot of acne scarring on my chin, for which I have tried peels, microdermabrasion, and dermal rolling.

None of these have improved my scarring as much as this has. I still break out around my chin every so often and this device has also stopped acne scars from forming. Another added bonus is that I’ve been breaking out less! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars-I don’t like about this is that it’s not rechargeable.

I don’t like having to plug it in when I want to use it. It’s small enough to be portable and should be. They should also make a cleaner for it. I’ve been using bleach free disinfecting wipes to clean it, but for the price it should come with something.

Not sure the device is helping? I’ve been doing 10 minute treatments on my face and hands for over a month and haven’t seen any improvement. I got this for anti-aging benefits, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and reducing the capillaries around my nose.

My face looks smoother after using the light, but it doesn’t last more than a few hours. I have actually had more acne since using this product and I use birth control and spironolactone to deal with my acne.

I’m surprised to have acne again. The product is well made and I like the 5 minute timer for safety. I’ve tried to avoid moving the neck around too much and knocking around the lamp portion since the attachment points are fragile.

The light is very bright and I do use the little goggles that came with the lamp. I don’t put the strap behind my head when using the goggles. The goggles cut into my eyes when using the strap. I just let the goggles rest on my face.

The quality of light and ease of use gravitates me to this product BUT the functionality of it is flawed… the neck of the stand is supposed to be adjustable so that you can point it at wherever you would like to use it.

But the panel does not secure to the neck very well and you should not be using the panel to adjust the position. This means you need to adjust the position using the neck and this makes it a bit difficult to do so.

I have already had to replace my panel once because it felt like it was not properly secured to the neck and would flicker if I had touched the panel at all. So I gave three stars for the fact that it has a stand, the neck is adjustable, and that I can definitely see results.

But I took the two stars off due to what I mentioned above and that I’m unsure of how long it will actually last. durability seems to be an issue. I probably would not recommend.

I’ve been much more aggressive with my skincare while I’ve had time during covid. I have some acne scarring as well as deeper, older chickenpox scars, and still suffer from occasional outbreaks including hormonal/cystic acne.

I was gifted the MicrodermMD a few years ago, and recently upgraded to the UltradermMD. The regular exfoliation and use of high-end products and supplements have improved my skin to the point I am now focused on anti-aging and fading scars, with my biggest challenge being the dark circles underneath and in the inner corners of my eyes.

The only way anything is ever effective is if you use it consistently. If it’s too much work, unpleasant or takes too long I just won’t stick with it. So far I have found this pretty easy to keep up with, mostly because of how passive it is.

It’s a bit annoying that your skin has to be free of product to use this, otherwise I think I’d use it even more. After just a couple of weeks I have noticed more even tone, with small blemishes drying out and healing quickly; it’s early to tell, but I think the circles under my eyes may be getting lighter, too.

Im only doing three stars because I just started using it. Im starting off slow on treatments because I read not to over do. Anyone have suggestions on how offen you use it? So I havent seen any results yet.

The actual machine seems very durable and is easy to work. Again it has only been a month that I have it.

I’m leaving this review as a warning! I can say that I did not use this product long enough to discuss its efficacy, as I had a reaction to it and had to return it. I’m not sure whether or not this experience is unique, but wanted to share it.

I used the product as advised, once. The next day (over 24 hours after use), I was doing yoga, and noticed that my face started to feel very swollen, specifically under my eyes. I thought it was strange, given that I don’t have any allergies or anything.

I went to bed and thought I looked pretty tired but nothing out of the ordinary. The next day when I woke up my eyes were so swollen that it looked like I had been crying all night, or maybe had an injury.

This went on for FIVE DAYS. The only thing I can attest it to is the titan. I returned it immediately, and didn’t use it again. So my fine lines disappeared. because my face was swollen. I wish I had have taken pictures of my eyes, but didn’t think of this until now!.

My moms, my late grandmother, all my aunties. We have the turkey neck. And nothing short of surgery has helped our fam, really. But this product does a great job. My second chin went from getting flabbier and looser to tightened-up and firmer.

NuFace has marketed the device as an excellent alternative for maintenance between professional facial services. Still, it fell short regarding ease of use (i. e. , instruction for use – a few video tutorials will not suffice).

Trash, trash, trash!!! Avoid by all means! So here is a little story for you! Originally, i got a Nuface full set about 5 years ago, it is expensive as you know. I haven’t used it once because I was still young and beautiful! Then i got into an accident with a follow-up surgery that left my face droopy and sagging, i wanted to use my Nuface in order to help it somehow.

But it didn’t turn on, upon contacting their customer service, i was told that the device had a dead battery due to its life (despite of it not being used once), the product is not FDA approved (completely unnecessary information that was just dropped as an ultimate reason why it couldn’t be serviced) and is not fixable, repairable, and they offered no deals on the next device ( second time my mom contacted them, she is nicer than I am, and they offered some small discount).

“So, you want to tell me that I had on my hands almost 300$ worth of useless trash that I didn’t try once?” They answered “Yes, it is. Sorry. ” 🤨 No support offered. It was surprising, once they milked you they are not interested in you.

By this time other devices popped on the market, and I got Foreo Bear that has better results and is a stronger machine, I see the difference in my face. It works only with an app, so you would need a foreo app to start it and to get the program going.

Do not buy Nuface, customer service is useless and obnoxious, and the product is not “FDA-approved” (which has nothing to do with them providing service for devices, which they make tons of money on), so you will get no service once any problems happen.

Stupid excuse that is not even logical, i guess they expect most of us do not know what FDA is, consider it to be an ultimate justice carrier in the device world, just so arrogant and disrespectful to the customers.

And the device is outdated, it was cool about ten years ago, there are other superior options now! Do your research and go for a more moderm solution, Foreo for example, and let Nuface with its customer oriented service rest in the past.

I have used this wrinkle reducer attachment for 2 weeks. I am happy to notice that my complexion has become brighter in overall, and pore size seems have reduced. However, this attachment is quite time consuming and challenging for me to do the treatment 5 times in a week.

I need to hold the device for LED light on my face for 3 minutes before moving to another part of my face. It needs to take more than half an hour to complete the whole face using this red light attachment, not to mention about neck.

It is a challenge for me to persist. I’m considering buying an LED face mask which is in the shape of a face and neck for LED treatment as I have gained confidence with LED. Well, I will still recommend this product for beginner as it is really effective.

I couldn’t expect such a noticeable result for home-used device. On the other side, I found this attachment is a bit too vulnerable. There was once after few minutes of using it, it made my Trinity Pro automatically switched off.

At first I thought my device has run out of battery. I tested it with ELE attachment but it worked well. When I plugged in this wrinkle reducer attachment again, my Trinity Pro switched off again. I didn’t know what happened.

The next day it got back to normal. It gave me a feeling that it can’t last longer. Anyway, the most important point and also the happiest thing for me is my complexion became brighter!.

Another “at home laser” that doesn’t do what it claims. This one, had such a tiny opening, for the laser, I questioned when I got it, how or if it would work. WHY have the window the size of a pencil eraser?? SO tiny.

But thought- I’d give it a try. Used as instructed for 4 weeks, on one side of my face, after 4 weeks, NO difference. This also gets very HOT, not warm, HOT, on the highest setting, which I tolerated, hoping for the best.

If and when someone makes one that actually works- I’ll be the first to buy it, but this is the 3rd, (all different brands) I’ve tried, that didn’t do a darn thing! It did state after 8 weeks, but I’m not keeping another one, that doesn’t allow you to use it for time stated, this one did not have an extended return window.

If it takes 8 weeks, to see results, why not give us 8 weeks to actually try it? MAYBE if I kept using past return window, it MAY have worked, but I’ll never know. Back it went. :(.

I bought this for myself for Christmas. I’d seen remarkable reviews and testimonials so naturally I was excited and curious. I began using it immediately and have used it consistently everyday for about 3 weeks now.

I have to admit I was skeptical about achieving real results from an at home device. I am thrilled to report that I am seeing results. I am using it under and above my eyes, on my crow’s feet, forehead, marionette lines, lower cheeks, and under my chin and jaw line, so basically all over my face.

I had purchased the Omnilux LED mask but had a reaction to it. Possibly to the silicone/plastic lining directly on my face? I purchased this after researching the science behind microcurrents and the effectiveness of this model specifically.

I found this company disclosed more specs and information than its competitors. Also one of the others claims its two times stronger but I couldn’t find anything to support that and as I also understand it, stronger is not always better and could also be harmful.

I also love that this has its own red light therapy attachment. My skin itself is in fairly good shape so I use the redlight attachment on my few areas that I think will benefit. I use the microcurrent head just as instructed all over my face and neck and I could actually feel the difference the very first time I used it.

It felt like my face and neck muscles had just had a workout. It’s been several days now and I’m pleased at the results already. I’ve now ordered the ELE attachment. Finally science has given us a way to workout our face muscles just like we work out the rest of our bodies.

I have been such a fan of red light therapy (I love the mask I have from Dr Gross) so when I swapped out my NuFace mini for the Trinity and bought all of the heads for it I was determined to give this a fair shot.

First thoughts, IT TAKES FOREVER! HOWEVER, in fairness, I chose to do this at night, whilst sitting down watching TV or Reading. That way I am not under pressure to finsh quickly. I also noticed that the flashing light made me nauseous, so to combat that I sit in a well lit room, and use it with my small Aquis towel or bathrobe.

As long as I can’t see the flashes I am fine, and as fussy as it sounds to do that, it hasn’t really been a big deal. As it sits firmly against your skin, sitting in a well lit room will not dull the redlight.

I have not been using this on my face since I actually like wearing my Dr Gross mask whilst I use the Nuface, I am a side sleeper, and I read a lot of books so sadly I have deepset wrinkles on my neck and chest which is what I wanted to use this for anyway, since my skincare routine has improved my facial skin 1000% I was less fussed about it soley for the face.

Woud I buy again, YES. You just need to find a routine that works with your schedule, and be patient. I would have loved to see NuFace come out with somethng that didn’t flash but as I have managed around it, it really isn’t a massive issue for me.

So far I can see minor results, but I have only been using it for a little while. Do I think it will remove all of my wrinkles? No. I am middle aged and years of side sleeping and hunched over books has done its damage, but if I can improve upon them enough to make my outside match closer to how young I feel on the inside I will be happy.

Not exactly sure what I was expecting. I have been using the Nuface Trinity and the attachments I have are pretty straight forward. This attachment has to be used on dry skin – so its another time for another treatment you have to set aside.

I found the flashing lights really annoying and the fact that it got quite warm – uncomfortably so after a while. I decide to send it back. I am hoping that just the lifting of the muscles will get rid of any wrinkles.

Each to their own I have seen some happy reviews but this just wasn’t for me.

I love my Trinity Wrinkle Reducer Attachment. Fortunately, mine has not broken yet, and I hope it doesn’t, as I’ve heard many complaints about this happening to others. The entire routine takes 21 minutes but instead of a chore, it feels like a treat.

The warm heat on my face feels relaxing. The light is quite bright and flashes, but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve only been using this attachment for a few weeks now, so I can’t see much of a difference in my fine lines, but I will say that my skin feels incredibly smooth after the treatment.

I usually cleanse my skin and apply Drunk Elephant Marula oil before using this attachment and it seems to be working out quite well. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the Trinity needs to be charged more often when using this attachment.

If you have the Trinity, I say go ahead and splurge on this attachment. That way the Trinity becomes more of a multi-tasker and you end up getting more bang for your buck.

I love using this tool after I cleanse and moisturize my face and neck. The three different lights all have healing effects, I had to search online which ones did what, blue is for antibiotic, acne or infection, red is stimulating collagen, green is for reducing red blood vessels and sunspots.

The heat and vibration leaves your skin feeling amazing. My over all complexion has improved immensely, even skin tone, healthy skin and easy to use. I bought one for my girlfriend.

Super excited to use this immediately upon delivery. Read all instructions – noted with interest the direction/warning to avoid thyroid as it may stimulate the gland. I have thyroid issue so i will avoid that area.

Around my mouth I was noticing lines and slack skin. The description of this product said it could be effective on just that area. They did not lie. For 6 days straight I used the light while watching TV.

I started at the corners of my mouth and moved all over my face and neck. On day 7 I’m doing a close exam in the mirror and truly couldn’t believe the difference I already saw. I grimaced, smiled, smirked testing but the lines I had seen were all but gone.

I have used Light Stim for wrinkles for years. The cord started to fray so had to get rid of it. They are $250. When I saw this and the price I decided to save myself some money. It’s not any different.

What I love about this is the built in timer! No more setting my phone timer. Confident I’ll continue to get same results. Wrinkles definitely diminish.

I like the LED tool alot, It seems to be a making difference within the first 2 weeks of use. However, the size of the panel is a little to large to reach smaller areas of the face, definitely cannot do the lips.

The goggles are really uncomfortable and prevent you from reaching areas on your face. I do not use them. Instead, I close my eye and hold a makeup remover pad over the lid to block out the light.

I received this in my Spring 2020 FabFitFun box. It was something I selected by choice because I am 50 and have crows feet. I also have heard of the benefits of red light therapy, but I am not completely convinced that this product is delivering THAT type of therapy.

What I can say is that it gets warm. You have to leave it in one place on your face (and it is about the surface area of a silver dollar). It runs for about 15 minutes at a time (I think). So if you want to do under your eye, at the corner of your eye, then do the other eye, between the eyes, frown lines on both sides of your face, and why not (?) the jowls too.

well, you will be doing this for a few hours. LOL So far, I have only done one side of my face so I can compare it to the other side (my negative control). The only time I notice anything is a little swollen right after use.

I still have wrinkles and creases. Maybe it takes several weeks of consistent use.

I got this in a very popular subscription box (FFF). Real talk: it’s effective! I’ve found that the areas I use it are tighter and brighter. It’s also maddeningly inefficient and is best for spot treatment.

I try to use this daily in key areas- My smile lines, between my brows, forehead (each side), and crow feet area for three minutes each. That’s 21 minutes each day using this thing. I often justify this as self-care time and listen to some binaural beats and wind down from my day.

but my schedule doesn’t always allow me this time. I use it in the evening, after I wash my face and put on any serums (currently using ), but BEFORE any retinol or vitamin C product (the combination of these compounds and the light can irritate your skin), then finish with my night cream.

I received this item by choice in my fab fit fun box. Because of so many wrinkle options I constantly receive from FFF … I finally opened it up to give it a try. I switched batteries out twice I cannot get it to work.

Sad because I got it a while ago and never got to try it. Very poor quality for the amount of money they charge for this item.

I’ve been using this religiously for the past 3 or so months and I can say you will see actual visible results. I’ve noticed a tightening of the skin particularly on the neck and a lessening of fine lines.

I use it night and day on face, neck, back of hands and the decollete. It has helped dimish one age spot on my forehead. The only drawback for me that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that the unit only treats one small area at a time.

So prepare to invest at least an hour a day to cover all the areas above. I will be investing in the full face unit in the future.

I can only give this 4 starts because of how long you have to use the product to see results. I have the smaller size, so it does not cover a lot of my face. I use it in each spot for 3 minutes, so it can take a little bit to cover my entire face and neck.

You will notice results, but you have to use continuously. It is expensive for bigger sizes, so you just have to figure out how much you can spend! I would recommend this still though.

I have never used anything like this. Im 44 and have been taking care of my skin since my 20s, doing micro dermabrasion treatments and micro needling etc. at home. But this is different. I just started, so time will tell but feels like you get an electrical charge.
