1. The DESCRIPTION does not explain how to measure your cabinets to purchase correct hinges to ensure proper fit. 2. The instructions do not clearly state the measurements of the cabinet “box” versus the measurements of the door.

3. My cabinet doors are 1/2 inch, so I purchased Amerock BPR8719G10 Single Demountable, Partial. 1/2. 4. I installed the new replacement hinge but it sticks out (see picture) 1/4 inch. 5. That is because the Amerock BPR8719G10 Single Demountable, Partial.

1/2 is for cabinet boxes that are 1 inch thick 6. An Amerock BPR8719G10 Single Demountable, Partial. 1/2 does not fit cabinet boxes built in the 1980’s that are 3/4 inch thick. 7. A clear explanation of your dimensions with illustrations would be helpful.

After removing a few screws, and then replacing with new parts, worked like a champ. Lowe’s didn’t have the parts.

I am writing this review to alert buyers to make sure you know these will fit your cabinets. These particular ones, did NOT fit, because of the off set between each side. The frame plate, and edge plate fit perfectly, but the arm between was too wide, and offset the door to create a gap.

The adjustment was no help, not adjustable enough. You need to make sure the measurements match your hinges. There are MANY types and variations of these hinges. Beware. Overall, the hinges appear to be well made, have a study spring action to pull the door shut.

Actual product differs from picture. Approximately 3/4 inch piece of metal where the adjustment screw is positioned stick out into the cabinet opening, unlike the “flush” hinge it replaced. It fits my older Aristrokraft cabinet which is nice, but places an obstacle where none was present before.

Back to the searching for a better replacement part.

These hinges are the best and easy to install. I bought them when I sanded and painted bathroom cabinets. They were perfect as a finishing touch. Bought them again after redoing kitchen cabinets. You can find “like” hinges at local box stores, but those are too bulky and doors won’t seat well.

These are nice, sturdy hinges and they work well; however, I had to spend another $35 to purchase new screws to replace the screws that were included. The screws that are used to screw the hinge to the frame of the cabinet are very weak.

Several of the screw heads would twist off before the screw was tightened all the way. The new screws I purchased from another company are made of steel and I have had no problems with them. This has been very frustrating.

Some fit perfect. Screw and closes perfect. Others need to be fine tuned a little. Most cabinets that use these hinges were made in the 70s and were hand made so a perfect fit isnt gonna happen. May require a little warping here and there.

there is a lot of Lazy Susan hings out there make sure you pick the same one to replace. the quality I got was very good I am very happy with it. It install very easy.

All the kitchen hinges are about 29 years old. Can’t believe Salice still makes the same hinge! The base plates to all these hinges doesn’t wear out, so only the hinges are needed. Only one heavy use door has needed replacement so far but it is great to know where to go if I need more than the six I bought.

This hinge works well, and has a very clever design (as do all Blum products). However, this catalog page has conflicting information about it. This is in fact a partial overlay hinge. The maximum overlay is only 8mm (5/16 inch).

I ordered mine more than a year ago for a project that I had to put on the back burner for over a year. Luckily I didn’t make any cuts based on these yet! If you search specifically for full overlay hinges, that should get you in the right area.

It would be great if Build. com would include overlay measurement numbers instead of “partial,” “standard,” and “full,” for those that aren’t professional cabinet installers.

I was looking in a big box store and these hinges were $8. 99 each. So I looked on line and found these for $1. 49 each. Received them as stated, installed them and they are perfect. They were from the same manufacturer but the big box store has many more overheads.

I purchased the hinges to redo our kitchen cabinets and change the look from old to modern and they definitely have done that. I am impressed by how they look and how they hold the cabinets tight against the frame.

I bought a box of 20 of these hinges to use on a few closet and cabinet doors. They work great! I thought I was going to have to purchase magnetic door stops, but the “auto-close” design of these hinges takes care of that.

Purchased these to redo the cabinets in the kitchen for My wife. The soft close is ok. Sometimes they close great , sometimes they make me wonder if they are even on. My wife hates how they open up with so much force and the overlay seems to be larger than what it says because of the big gap when doors are closed.

The hole alignment has changed on these newer hinges as compared to my older Salice hinges. I was still able to get them to work. They work excellent and this price is hard to beat. I replaced older self closing 9/16 overlay Salice hinges.

I am changing all of the hardware in my kitchen to flat (matte) black. After extensive searching for black partial wrap hinges, I came across these through houzz. The product itself is durable; however, I noticed that the paint chips off of them as if somebody used black spray paint on a stainless steel hinge.

Customer service allowed me to ship them back, but I had to pay an $8 dollar shipping fee.

These fit the bill. I had ordered another brand and the measurements were of to the point that the doors were overlapping. These look nice and work just fine.

I bought these hinges for replacing 55+ year old hinges on a maple cabinet that are found in some Levitt houses. The old hinges were also offset. The doors were kept closed with a roller that would go over a bump in sheet metal on the other side of the door to hold it shut.

I was able to remove the old roller setup and change the hinges to this set. It’s keeping the door shut. Installation was easy (for me).

We ordered 19 packages of this hinge, along with matching knobs and drawer pulls to complete our kitchen remodel. The finish is good and material quality is good, but the hinges have a design problem.

The square / flat section that attaches to the back of the cabinet door should sit (with the hinge in the closed position) slightly above the section that mounts to the cabinet frame. This would prevent the hinge from rubbing on the cabinet frame face when the door is closed.

However, in the batch I received, the small section that contains the plastic part and spring for assisted closing, which is directly under the hinge pin, protrudes out. This results in that portion of the hinge rubbing on the cabinet face when the door is closed.

Consequently the doors will not close completely, they make a rubbing sound when they are closed, and they have rubbed the brand new paint off the cabinet frame. We are having to install small washers under the cabinet frame section to raise the hinge slightly off the frame and allow adequate clearance.

Beautiful copper hinges. These replaced some very old uglysilver hinges. They fit perfectly on the cabinet doors, and with the medium blue cabinets really stand out! I teally l9ve this hardware. It is sturdy, beautiful, more like jewelry than hardware.

The hinges I received were of good quality and well finished. I used them as replacements and was well pleased with the ease with which they attached to the original mounting holes and how strongly they closed.

Used to replace standard European hinges for a glass panel cabinet door. Our stiles are only 1″ x 2″ oak. Measure the panels correctly as there is no horizontal adjustment for these hinges. Cut out one cabinet stile and in the other cabinet added shims.

Worked out well as you have to look very closely to even notice the adjustments.
