So I redoing my flower bed for fall flowers. An I have always kept lighting in my landscape. Well in the mean time as I finish my flowers I go to place my light back in, when I notice that one of the bulbs was blown.

I had planned on the next day going out an getting a replacement. The next day arrives an I check the mail before heading out. When I noticed I had received this product for a review! Perfect timing an a saved trip for me.

Later on that evening I replaced the broken bulb with the GE 250w led light. I was very pleased with this as I like my lights to eliminate bright at night an light up my walk to the front door. I was so pleased with how well this product did, I went out the next morning to purchase 2 more bulbs.

I can say for the value these are outstanding quality bulbs. Well worth the money spent an pleased with how bright they are. I highly recommend these bulbs to anyone that wants to add better quality bulbs to their landscape or even front porch lighting.

My driveway is a lot brighter using the free GE Nighthawk 250W PAR38 3000 lumens bulb sample to try out. I’m highly satisfied with the warm light output that’s illuminating but not blinding. The bulb weighs 2 lbs.

, conical and can fit in recessed fixtures but I have mine installed in a 2 bulb security light kit shining down at 40 degree angle. The bulb’s durable structure is shock & vibration resistant, free of mercury.

I haven’t used the dimming feature yet because I need the brightest setting for security in my neighborhood. I replaced my older dusk to dawn vapor light and upgraded by installing a new light fixture using GE Nighthawk LED bulb which I think is long lasting, more cost efficient and higher quality.

Only one came in the box I received but intending to buy me a second Nighthawk bulb in near future and will continue using GE Nighthawk floodlight bulbs to give my yard more security and warm exterior nighttime lighting.

Good lamp light. Very heavy. Lights up the room well. However it does not last long. Bought 2. One lasted about 9 months the other 14 months. Box says normal use will make it last 22 years. What a joke.

However the bulb has a 3 year warranty which was honored both times. So keep your receipt and contact the manufacturer if it fails to last 3 years.

LED BULB AT 23 WATTS SLIGHTLY BRIGHTER THAN 150 WATT INCANDESCENT IT WAS TO REPLACE. ALSO, THE 5000K DAYLIGHT WAS TOO STARK A WHITE LIGHT FOR THE INDOOR DARK KITCHEN. BULB WORKED WELL AND DIMMED DOWN, BUT NOT DOWN ALL THE WAY AS THE INCANDESCENT WOULD DO.

RETURNED THE BULB FOR THE WARM WHITE LED WHICH WAS MORE THE TONE OF THE ORIGINAL 150 WATT INCANDESCENT. THE SELLERS WERE GEMS TO WORK WITH AND I ORDERED A TOTAL OF SIX OF THEIR COMPARABLE WARM WHITE LED BULBS.

THE CIRCUIT FOR FOUR BULBS IS NO LONGER 600 WATTS AND HOT, BUT 92 WATTS AND COOLER AT THE WALL DIMMER SWITCH AND IN THE IN-CEILING FIXTURES.

I tried the 60W equivalent (in soft white and daylight) but they were both too bright. I also tried the 40W equivalent in the daylight rating, but it wasn’t quite right. These are just right and actually still brighter than the standard 60W bulbs that were previously installed, which were 430 lumens.

These Feit 6W bulbs are 450 lumens and I can notice they are slightly brighter than the standard 60W bulbs I had before. Now I have the proper brightness and a 90% reduction in power consumption at an affordable upfront cost – perfect.

I was an electrical PM for over 30 years. I am familiar with LED and can say with credibility that this is an premium product. The light output (525 lumen) beside my other similar LED down lights is readily noticeable.

The 3000k color rendition is super. The 90 CRI is a quality measurement and is noticeable. Quality always comes at a price. I gladly paid a little extra for the quality and am satisfied with that decision.

Reasonably true color temperature, slightly rosy tint. Handles my Lutron Credenza dimmer with no noise or flicker (dim to roughly 10% I guess). Can’t comment on longevity because bulbs are still new but otherwise very satisfied.

We purchased these floodlight bulbs to lower costs on our electric bill. We also get the benefit of no heat transmitted from the bulbs. Our previous incandescent bulbs (five in each room) generate enough heat to make the space actually warmer when its not wanted.

Another plus is that these bulbs can be used with dimmers. A great product!.

Moved into a house with several burned out bulbs. These bulbs are much better quality and disperses the light well.

These new LED bulbs fit perfectly into the overhead incandescent walkway light fixtures. The light volume is not too bright, not to dim, their ideal! At this good price, I’ll be buying these for a long time.

First, this lamp does work well, but there are some things to consider if you plan to purchase one or more of them. My application is a recessed ceiling can and this bulb is shorter than either the fluorescent or filament bulbs I have used previously, so it is more recessed into the can.

It turns out that the 40 deg angle is rather tight for my kitchen application and the bulb used a mottled clear glass face as opposed to a frosted face. With 120W equivalent dissipation, this lamp is very bright in a relatively small pattern.

If that is what you want or need, this lamp is for you.

I like this particular bulb because it fits properly in a high hat ceiling fixture without protruding down below the ceiling. The light quality is good at 2700K and the warranty is excellent. I’ve bought these before and I will buy them again, assuming they aren’t discontinued which seems to happen with good LED bulbs a lot.

If you are buying one and you have amazon prime it will be cheaper on amazon, but if you are buying 3 or 4 or more, it will be cheaper on the 1000 bulbs site.

So happy we spent the money to replace the lights for our senior living. My residents love the brighter lights. Great customer service. Highly recommend!

All I have is Sengled but every time I turn around they’re becoming more and more frustrating. Bought these bulbs specifically because it DIDN’T say “wifi only” only to discover they’re not discoverable by my hub, say “bluetooth” (which I’d disregarded since it’s the slow as heck wifi ones I want to avoid) and not only this but I can’t even set them up in the Sengled Home app LIKE ALL THE REST OF THEIR BULBS.

I have to have a whole other app? Sengled bluetooth? They’re lightbulbs. Why in the world? Technology is supposed to make our lives easier, not inexplicably more complicated for no good reason whatsoever.

I’m pretty close to selling ALL my Sengled bulbs and switching to another brand. Also, BB needs to be VERY SPECIFIC with these bulbs what they do, and very specific with what they DON’T do. They should say “won’t work with hub” or “bluetooth only” or “wifi only” or “requires hub” in every single listing.

I went through the Sengled listing minutely so as not to make the “wifi” mistake again and STILL ended up with 10x more work than it should be.

It works well enough with alexa but I had trouble getting it connected with the sengled app. One bulb connected but the other did not. The app has some cool features that you can’t control through the alexa app so I reached out to the company.

It took them over a week to reply and the response didn’t offer any kind of help or answer my questions at all. I was very disappointed with the customer service from their company (not best buy, Best buy has been great).

It connected with Alexa app but despite many resets it still won’t connect to the manufacturer app. If it didn’t come free with my device I would have returned it. I have also had some trouble with the bulb flickering and it reset unexpectedly.

I have tried other brands that work just fine. Perhaps I just had bad luck with the bulb but overall It’s not my favorite. On a positive note it does change color easily and worked with the alexa. The one bulb that connected with the sengled app has the ability to pulse and change colors on it’s own which is fun.

I bought an Amazon Alexa Dot with the clock and this bulb was offered as a free extra. I didn’t think much about it really but installed it in my bedroom lamp last night and WOW it is really something! I paired it up with my bedroom Alexa easily and then on my app, to my disbelief, there were 20 different shades you can pick from for your lighting.

I picked the Cool White. I know I’m boring. LOL. Anyway you can also set the brightness to a level you desire. I did try all the colors. In the SHADES OF WHITE group you have Warm White – Soft White – White – Daylight White and Cool White.

Then in the COLORS group you have Red – Crimson – Salmon – Orange – Gold- Yellow – Green – Turquoise – Cyan – Sky Blue – Blue – Purple – Magenta- Pink and finally Lavender. I am really pleased with how easily this paired with my Alexa, its color diversity is amazing and I think it’s the best! Looking for something to jazz up the colored lighting in your room? Extremely bright bulbs that fill my room with light. Would recommend with a shade that will filter the light slightly because the bulbs are that effective.

Beautiful day light bulbs. It brightened up my hallway and was exactly what I needed. I recommend these bulbs and will buy again.

So far so good which means a couple of days. These are dimmable and when I was looking dimmer switches for this type of lighting they started $27+. I was not expecting that so I thought I would give you a heads up.

Perfect for my needs. I have two outdoor floodlight openings in my front porch ceiling that had tiny fluorescent bulbs in them. I wanted to upgrade to led bulbs and I wanted to fill the light socet area to look appealing too.

Two of these, along with a dimmer, gives me adjustable lighting while looking like floodlights and filling the openings in the canopy perfectly.

Although they classify this as “warm” white, it’s 3000K, which is still on the cool, blueish side. I bought 4 to replace the incandescents in my home theatre. The incandescents give a nice, warm glow.

These give a harsh, blueish, clinical light that ruins the ambience in the room. On top of that, they don’t dim enough – they only go to a certain minimum brightness (which is too bright) and then stay there until they finally turn off.

I have tried other PAR38 LEDs that can dim from full-on to full-off with hundreds of steps in between. These have maybe 10 steps of brightness before they hit their minimum brightness. So, because of the colour of light and dimming performance (or lack thereof), they are completely unsuitable for my use.

Other manufacturers make true 2700K PAR38 LEDs, so I’m going to try them. My search continues.

One out of four bulbs did not work. This could have been a re-stocking issue. We also have some flickering issues that remain unresolved now that this bulb has been added to a gang of six.

Nice color temperature. Lower heat output than my old CFL. And reaches its brightness instantly.

This bulb has a delayed start – if you are looking for instant-on, this is not your bulb. Otheriwse, bulb is fine, but description should clearly state that there is a delay from when you flip the switch, to when the light comes on.

These bulbs were an excellent replacement for 4 halogen PAR38 flood lights in our sanctuary. Easily fit in the socket & bracket. Fully dimmable. Nice white color. We’ve been replacing halogen bulbs too often.

I’ve searched for MONTHS for 2700K soft white PAR 38 dimmable LED bulbs – Local Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, electrical stores didn’t have them. These are great! They look like the real thing (no blue hue).

Great for indoor use. My only caution to the buyer is you if buy a large amount – try to ask for the same exact bulbs as we received 6 with one packaging and 7 with another packaging -same model # but they dim differently.

I used them in 2 different rooms so I was able to make it work out.

Bought 2 of these about 8 months ago for the 2 eyeball recessed cans for cathedral ceiling above our fireplace. The light quality is nice, only a couple minor things to point out – one, is they don’t dim quite as low as the halogens did, but that could be the dimmer switch I have installed – not sure, but good enough for now.

Two, is the shape of the bulb lens does not work the best with suction cup telescopic bulb tools – there is a recessed center in the lens that I could not see from the pictures online. I barely got them in by jamming the suction cup inside the concave part of the lens, but I literally had to have my son stand behind me with his baseball glove in case it dropped out.

I got them in and working, but it wasn’t easy. If you don’t have a high ceiling application, then probably not an issue. They definitely are commercial quality. If I could, I would rate a 4. 5.

The TCP LED Elite Series PAR30 Long Neck, 12 Watt, 800 Lumens in the 2700 Kelvin color is ideal for my open kitchen setup. Because our ceiling is lower and requires smaller lighting cans, I always need a shorter bulb with the power output of a larger one.

These bulbs have always been difficult to come by, but they are top of the line. The color is warm and perfect, and I’m very sensitive to light that is not at the correct spectrum color. I have mostly TCP bulbs throughout my entire house, and they are still going strong.

I had one of the original versions of this bulb, LED12P30D27KFL, go out on me, and TCP honored my warranty with no questions asked, and sent me a spare bulb. Working with 1000Bulbs, I am confident in the quality and know I am getting the best price for a rare and high quality product.

I’ve tried a couple of other LED PAR30 replacements from the local Big Box home improvement store, but they weren’t right. One was too bright, and the other had the wrong color value. Our electrician recommended these, and they look very much like incandescents.

As 60W replacements they’re significantly brighter than the 50W halogen bulbs they replaced, and I suspect they might even be a bit brighter than 60W halogens, but I don’t have any of those to compare with.

One difference: our lights are on a dimmer, and the halogen lights dim much more smoothly. At the lowest setting our halogens are nearly off, but these LEDs are seem to be at about 1/3 to 1/2 brightness.

That was fine for our application since we were replacing all our PAR30s at once. If you mix them and don’t keep the lights at full brightness, the difference would be noticeable.

Simple replacement Cut the socket wires and directly attached them to the incoming power wires. Needed to buy an E39 to E26 base adapter but then found out they come in the E39 base that I needed I should have asked before but now I know.

This went into a fully enclosed outdoor housing replacing a 150W Metal Halide bulb. Great turn on response. I experience brief power glitches and the Metal Halide would take 15 minutes to restart. The instant on of the bulb makes the upgrade worthwhile for that reason alone.

I’m also looking forward to not needing to replace bulbs every 5 years as well.

The light from these bulbs is a bit harsher/whiter than the old halogen’s that they replaced. I’m a little disappointed by that. However they are bright when I need the light for cooking in the kitchen and the dimmer we purchased allows us to tone it down when we don’t need that much bright light.

Other LED high CRI bulbs I purchased for work in my studio (painter) were 4 times more expensive, are also bright but somehow, softer and more natural looking. Perhaps I should have purchased the 2700K?.

I wanted more lumens than the standard PAR20 7w LEDs supplied. Yet the lamp had to be the same size as a standard PAR20 to fit the fixture. This team had the answer. This 6. 5w 600 lumen bulb is what I wanted.

This product met all of my expectations. Color rendering was my reason to purchase this brand. I find the color quality excellent with with no blue or green hue found in lesser quality LEDs. Spot pattern is very uniform.

No flickering in these products. I have not tried these with a dimmer yet.

Bought this to test it with other halogens, since the 75W bulbs are going away. It’s much brighter than expected, maybe brighter than the 75W bulbs. Color temp is somewhat cooler than regular halogens (more blue/white than yellow/white), but I prefer that.

(Warmer light makes me sleepy – that circadian rhythm thing). Don’t expect to mix this in with a line of regular halogens and not notice a difference, though. If you’re replacing halogens with LEDs, expect to do so in groups, if consistent light color is important to you.

The beam edge is very soft; I don’t see any “streaking” around the edges of the beam from the lens pattern, like I do with some halogen bulbs. Bulb does run much cooler than incandescent bulbs. I can touch the front lens with the bulb on, no problem.

The rear reflector is a bit hot to the touch, though. Installed this bulb about a month ago. I hope this bulb’s lifetime is comparable to halogens or CFLs. We’ll see. If prices keep coming down, we’ll most likely be using these.

I got two of these almost a year ago to test in our ceiling track fixtures and see if they could finally be a replacement for the halogens which I love. in terms of color temperature, dimmability and just overall quality of the light.

I have to say they make a great replacement for the halogen bulbs, which I have to buy by the case since they burn out so fast. We run them 10 to 20 hours a day. Anyways, these LED bulbs are very close in all respects to the halogens except they don’t get as hot and they don’t seem to be burning out.

Needless to say they use a lot less electricity. These two have been on for over 3000 hours now and I just decided to replace all the halogens with them. Its well worth the money not having to replace bulbs all the time and especially with the energy efficiency.

This bulb has brought our costs down from not only bulb replacement but man hours for changing them out. They run warm, not hot. Superior light and color. Excellent heat-sink which helps extend the life hours.

It’s universal direct voltage so it’s versatile in all residential and commercial uses. Though the box shows 45. 7 years of life, that is based on 3 hours of use per day. That is not realistic at all.

All manufactures do the same thing with publishing unrealistic usage. Needless to say, this is a great bulb to use.

I work for my Church and we were looking for bulbs that would give extra lighting to the Altar. The bulbs we chose were amazing, they allowed to to select different degrees of light for specific areas.

The light that it produced was perfect and the color was just what we needed.

LED technology has made progress! At 2700k this lamp is warm. Identical to incandescent. At with the 40 degree beam there are no hot spots. It dims smoothly to about 12% which is almost blackout. I’m using them for house light in an auditorium all the features described above are mandatory.

I’ll save about $10 a day in electricity which will pay for all them in about four months. Highly recommend!.
