I received a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair with newborn set through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, for use with my baby. I actually already had a Tripp Trapp from my daughter, who is now almost 4 years old.
So even as I received this one complementarily, I have paid in full for one previously. Which is to say, please trust I mean it when I say the Tripp Trapp is worth the price. While we already had a Tripp Trapp, this Stellar Panel is our first time with the newborn set, and it came at just the right moment.
My son is 4 months old and cleared for light solids. Feeding a young baby is generally a mess–they’re sitting on your lap, they’re squirming, oatmeal is dripping down their chin and onto the floor. So I’ve loved that the newborn set makes this process easier.
And an easier process with a baby is instantly a more joyous one, as you can focus on the fun part and not on the challenging part. The newborn seat is easy to pop on, is secure once it’s on, appears comfy for baby, and looks and feels nice–bringing him right to the table with the rest of the family.
From here, I absolutely *know* I will continue using the Tripp Trapp with him. I know this because we still use our first Tripp Trapp with our daughter, these multiple years later. It has served us well, from those early days with the baby seat and food tray (thank goodness it’s so easy to remove and clean that tray!), to the milestone-feeling days where you adjust the seat to reflect your growing child’s new height.
I love that, at almost 4 years old, she has a chair that’s a good size for her. A traditional high chair would be too small physically, and would infantilize her. A dining room chair would be too big; a dining room chair with a booster on it wouldn’t be sturdy and wouldn’t fully feel like hers.
So the Tripp Trapp is really purpose-built to grow with your kid, and it shows.

I bought this highchair for my grandson. I love the ease of putting the highchair up and down. I do wish it had a pull-out tray. maybe to the side, otherwise, if you put my grandson’s bowl on the tray that is located in front (even if you use one of the compartment-like areas), he can still easily grab it and he is only 6 mths old so it will get worse as the months move along.
I remember with my other grandchildren, having a tray that you could easily slide out out of the way of the child’s reach, would be more helpful. even to put a washcloth on. Moves around easily. I am not a fan that you cannot put the baby into the highchair while the tray is on and it is hard to hold the baby AND try to get the tray open with one hand.
and the tray is rather heavy and cumbersome (if you want to do this holding a baby). I wonder if whoever designed this highchair, had never had a baby. It is also easy to accidently raise this highchair just by pulling up.
yet, it is easy to get it back down. Other than wishing it had an additional tray, the highchair is good quality; colors of the highchair look good. Seat cover wipes clean easily. Adjustable height is a huge bonus.
We bought this chair several years ago but actually started using it about 10 months ago when our little one turned 6 months old. There are some things we love and some things we don’t. After 10 months of active use.
the tray no longer automatically locks in on one side and our baby can easily pop it off. This is disappointing as we were hoping to use the high chair for more than one child. The cushion fabric cleans well in the wash, but I wish the cushion stayed in place better (we always have to adjust it once we put her in).
I like the flexibility of the features. The tray cleans really easily (if you have a big sink), so that’s a plus for us. Our daughter seems comfortable in it and it usually does a good job of keeping her in place (she’s a wild child).
A few tweaks – and longer durability – would make this a great product.
As a FTM to be I was so excited to pick out things for my registry and was really drawn to this for how many stages I would (potentially) be able to use it for. Now that I’m a mom and my daughter is 4 months old I was excited to start using this but am disappointed that I still can’t.
The chair does recline however you can’t recline it and use the booster insert. The seat belt is way too far forward to be used when the booster portion is out and seat reclined. My daughter can sit without support for short periods and with support without any issue, however due to the way this is built she slides down to an uncomfortable position.
Which leads me to another pet peeve of gracos products …the seat belt what a pain in the behind (I have their baby swing and it’s the same buckle. and for that and few other reasons I wouldn’t recommend that either) I imagine whoever designed the seatbelts for these items isn’t a parent at least not of a squirmy baby.
Hoping in a few months I’ll be able to use it until then it’s just a decoration in my kitchen.

I purchased this high chair because my son had grown out of one we received as a hand me down. I wanted one where he can grow into and I’m glad I went with this one. I love having the ability to move the chair up and down to accommodate any height, and my son is loving it as well.
I also like that the tray has different settings so my son can grow into it. The seatbelt is fine and I had no issues with them.
Sturdy yet lightweight and comfortable. I like how the footrest is adjustable. And like the overall look of it in my kitchen. I’m the Grandma and glad that I bought it for my only grandchild to use when I babysit him.
Also, my husband and I both drive Jeep vehicles so he got a kick out of the fact that grandbaby has his first jeep.

I purchased this when on sale in the fall of 2021, thinking that it would be easier than using one of our older kids’ booster chairs which get strapped to a regular dining chair. While it is much easier, I didn’t factor in that I married a woman who towers 9 inches taller than me, and our children are bigger than usual; our youngest, at 8 months old, now stretches 1/3 the length of the twin bed that I slept on until I was in my 30s.
She was 2 months old when I bought this, and we haven’t used the harness straps since she was 4 months old as they can no longer fit around her. The base and legs are very simply designed and surprisingly strong, and it was very easy to assemble.
I really appreciate how the seat cover can be removed with little effort for washing. We can still snap the tray in place and it secures her in the chair for now, but unlike our son’s high chair that we threw away after being left outside for over a year, the tray has absolutely no adjustment whatsoever: it tilts into slots and snaps downward onto a single pair of locking tabs, and that’s it.
If the child obstructs that path, you can’t move it out another tab unless you engineer your own mechanism to do so. Thus, I’m taking off two stars for that lack of a really basic feature; this is supposed to grow with the child to a certain age, not a certain height.
For most children, this seat could probably be used through kindergarten, but my daughter will probably be too big to sit in it by the time she learns how to crawl confidently, and even in the toddler configuration she’d be too young to understand not to flop out of the seat and faceplant on either the base table or the floor.
This is a pretty decent high chair for the price. It does it’s job. It’s not the highest quality (it is made mostly of plastic). Basically you get what you pay for. I did not want to spend a lot of money on a high chair, so this one was a good option for me.
I also really like that it has longer term use and becomes a chair and table set as baby grows. Seems sturdy and safe. I did find a few long shreds of plastic when unpacking, so make sure as with any baby items, to double check it and wipe it down (I used soap and water) to make sure no small parts are on the items that baby will use.
Overall, I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a good deal.
Chair cleverly converts from a highchair to a toddler chair and table, it says 4 in 1, it’s more like 3 in 1. Baby high chair, converts to a floor sitting chair and tray, and then converts to toddler chair.
The plastic is a little flimsy, so I wouldn’t recommend this as a primary highchair for your baby. Since it is designed to go from a 4-5 month old to a ‘big kid’ chair the seat itself is big enough for a 5 year olds behind … my eight year old was able to sit it it.
So its not ideal for a little baby bum. You must use the straps which are a little cumbersome. They are very similar to straps you would find on a stroller. The chair cover is the weak point in this design, it doesn’t snap down so it flops all over the place, very annoying.
Converting to the next level of seating is very easy. We removed the straps and the cover when we converted it to toddler chair and table. My 2 year old son likes the chair and table and it’s the perfect size for him to climb in and out independently.
I recommend this highchair as a chair that might stay at grandparents or the cottage but not as a primary chair. As a toddler table and chair though, it’s great.
BEABA’s sleek European-made Up & Down High Chair is cleverly designed to move to 6 different heights, making family mealtimes even easier and helping you bring baby to the table. The contemporary design along with superior materials set this high chair apart – it is both designed and made in France.
The stain-resistant removable cushion is made to last even the messiest of mealtimes but can be thrown in the wash.
Bought the highchair mainly because it’s the only one we could find that’s high enough for the breakfast bar. Isn’t easy to clean. Main issue is that it broke easily. The sections are very fidly so putting the bar and table back on everytime you clean the cover is hard work and the section that fits the bar is flimsy and broke.
I wouldn’t buy as a normal highchair, only recommend if you can’t find another high enough. Very disappointed for the price.
I really wanted to love this high chair. I wanted something that would be easy to use at our counter in the kitchen because that’s were we usually eat but we could also use at our dinner table. Sadly the features on this chair are not easy to use.
Your suppose to be able to adjust the hight. You can but it’s very difficult to do so. Literally the metal piece that pops in the hold it in place sprug out and we had to find something to put it back where it goes.
It’s literally sounds like your breaking it when adjusting the height it’s not smooth at all. Other features I’m not happy with is the seat cover. It’s so hard to remove if you want to clean it. You have to take the chair apart essentially to do so.
Plus it’s fairly light in color so you can see food stains easily. The tray also goes on poorly. It’s suppose to snap on and off and your have to really use some muscle to put it on. Definitely make sure baby isn’t in the seat when trying this.
There little hands move fast and it terrified me to think you could pinch there fingers and it’s not easy to take off. The only things I like about this chair is the height and it does look very nice.

Okay, let me start by saying. when it comes time to clean, remove the strap under the seat flap FIRST (the strap you pull to fold the chair up). Do not follow that strap to the back of the chair to try and remove.
This will cause marital problems as you both try to figure out why you can’t get the cover off to clean. Not being able to remove the cover to clean (or better yet, figure out how) was the MAIN reason I began looking for other options.
I eventually wound up on the IKEA antilop, and after one use- I know this is a better fit for me and my child. I didn’t figure out how to remove this cover until after I began using the antilop. However- now I can give a much better review than I would have had I not figured out how to remove the cover.
Pros: EASY fold, lightweight, 5 point harness, reclining options for self bottle feeding, under seat storage, the cover is soo easy to wipe clean and it DOES remove relatively easily, does not stain, tray has 2 or 3 different positions and they are easy to lock into place, middle part of tray helps ensure baby stays upright and extra safety feature, straps are removable for cleaning Cons: the straps are a PAIN to remove (we had to cut a bigger hole IN THE CHAIR to remove the strap from the back), the straps STAIN so easy, while there are different level options for straps all of them fit our child awkward.
she never looked comfy, it takes two hands for the tray, there is a footrest but it’s not adjustable and way too low for babies just starting out (for BLW), cover is not machine washable All in all, for the price- it’s average! I liked it.
The straps being hard to clean and remove are my biggest turn off. But additionally, my child just didn’t “fit” well in this chair. The first time I sat her in the antilop, it was like Cinderella’s glass slipper.
I’ve had this high chair for a year. Luckily I was blessed with a very neat baby, and have not needed to deep clean the cushion on the chair until now. While celebrating his first birthday he made a mess with his smash cake.
I begin to take the cushion off of the high chair only to find out that the pull cord to collapse the chair is in the way. I search the site for instructions on how to remove the cushion without removing the pull cord, and came across a response from Customer Service to a customer and instructed her that the pull cord could be removed.
However, that was false. I had to cut the cord in order to remove the cushion. Once I realized it that the cord was not needed and I could manually fold the chair, I cut it off. I did happened to find the black clip that was mentioned in the response however removing it was still an issue.
So the cord was cut. Don’t bother responding to this message with any alternatives because there are none. Anyone reading this review who needs to clean their cushion just cut the cord off because you don’t even need it.
If asked, I would recommend this chair to someone else because it is cost efficient, however, I would need disclose to them that they will need to cut a piece of the chair in order to clean it.
I was looking for an easy affordable small space high chair and this was perfect! It is as everyone else describes. easily assembled, goes great for small compact homes. my son loves it better than the one we had before.
Easy to clean as well as store away. now for the cons. they have no placement for the tray. it dont fit into the small design of the chair. it sticks out quite abit if u leave it on. but if u take it off you have this tray with no place to put it.
I just stick it in the basket underneath for convenience sake but i have animals so therefore everytime i use it i must rewash it. every single time. moms know how much time that takes up when u have a hungry screaming child.
this is my only complaint. other that this, this high chair is literally perfect for me!.
This multi-functional baby highchair features a regular tray and a removable dishwasher safe insert tray. The removable tray includes two cup holders and a large main compartment. The main tray features one spacious indented compartment.
The seat pad (100% polyester fabric with polyester foam padding) is removable and washable. The high chair is suitable for baby from 6 months (when your child cannot sit and up in the highchair independently) and approximately 4 years when converted to a play table and chair.

Feeding your baby on-the-go is made easy with the Summer Infant Pop ‘n Dine Sweet Life Portable SE High Chair.
I LOVE THIS Chair! It’s surprisingly very sturdy for a portable highchair. The feet are very strong and have rubber on the bottom. The table top locks which is awesome, you can also use the chair without the tabletop.
It folds up nice and compact and comes with a bag with a shoulder strap. Honestly such a great purchase, it’s great for picnics and when we go out I love it, especially since my daughter is such a busy baby.
It’s good for her to have somewhere secure to sit. Fits great in my tiny little trunk, folded up it’s the size of like a regular fold up chair for an adult maybe smaller.
Cheap. Don’t be fooled Bought this for our RV and used the high chair a handful of times over the course of a year. After about 3 uses the fabric started coming unraveled around the leg support and today the plastic foot broke away from the screws.
Called support. Spoke with Melissa saying i would need a whole new chair. There is a 90 day warranty and no spare fabric seat for purchase or replacement foot. Do not buy this if you plan to use for more than 90 days or want to contribute to the landfill waste.
Where has this highchair been all of our camping days? We used the highchair a few times recently when visiting friends and family but didn’t want to write the review till after our camping trip this weekend.
Let me tell you, what a great invention, a portable highchair. We no longer have to struggle at the dinner table passing the baby off to each other when we’re away from home. This chair folds up just as easy has the outdoor folding chairs so being able to put the baby in his own seat to eat has been great.
I like how the try hangs to one side when un-clipped so it makes getting the baby in and out much easier. The fabric is machine washable to so cleanup is a breeze. The wide feet gives it a much more durable feel.
I never once noticed it beginning to wobble. The pouch on the side is great for keeping baby wipes or whatever you use for easy and quick clean up. I did notice that we have to keep him strapped in as it’s much easier to escape than his highchair at home.
No biggie, we just strap him in each time. The quality of the highchair is great and I feel we’ll get a lot of use out of it.

I got this and a couple other high chairs and this won, obviously, but only over the inconveniences of the others. I love the wheels, i love that I can wipe clean the seat, however, it cannot receive an honest 5 stars for me as there are major setbacks (at least for most moms).
It is very hard to clean as it has many creases, you can easily wipe the seat but oh the creases, they don’t get wiped as easily. I wet q tips and clean the corners which takes hours. The belts are super hard to wash and have to be unscrewed but it is doable.
The seat cover is lovely as it has a cushion but it cannot be machine washed so I washed it by hand and twisted it till I thought all the water was out. Nope! It took 3 whole days under the sun to dry leaving my child without a high chair and I had to resort to using his stroller and then the stroller got dirty and I was super frustrated, wishing I had gone with another option.
I love the tray that is removed but if I remove it and keep feeding baby and that gets dirty, as well, it takes a very long time to drain the water out of the original tray piece as there are so many holes and corners.
It never fully drains and that makes me worried as it can catch mold. Somehow, crumbs fall all the way below the seat cover just from the holes of the seat belt. Basically, I really like it but at the same time don’t.
Aesthetically, it is beautiful and has many options to choose from to match home decor or just to choose. It also reclines and the height adjusts which is amazing because my child has fallen asleep multiple times and it felt great to simply recline him and I continued with my dinner without interruption.
You can also feed by a coffee table or dinner table as it adjusts.
We registered and received it as a gift before our baby came. Being first time parents and not having researched enough, this high chair looked good with adjustable heights& reclining options. Oh boy was I wrong.
Once my baby started eating solids, all the mess that got into nooks& crevices of the chair are impossible to clean, the chair takes up a large space and we’re always tripping over the legs that extends far back, and rolling chairs only works in certain directions and very inconvenient.
Also, for some reason the seat kind of swallows up even though she’s a tall baby for 6. 5 months old. And she’s always slouching sideways a little but she can sit up straight by herself. Removable tray is very hard to wash too.
Just so bulky. I ended up buying Nomi high chair from buy buy baby which is only slightly more expensive than this but soooooo much better, lighter and easier to clean. I highly suggest Nomi which was designed by the same designer of Stokke tripp trapp but newer and better…for any first time parents out therefore.
I listed this Peg perego high chair for sale on my local mom group real cheap and still nobody wanted it lol.
I really love this high chair! Love the style and leather seating. I like that you can adjust the height which is great for eating at the table/couch/floor. The backing also tilts which is helpful if baby happens to fall asleep then it could be used for baby to have his siesta ;).
The tray is removable which makes clean up easy and pulling the chair to the table so that baby can eat with us. It also folds up really well so you can store it easily. Great for small space. There is also a wheel lock to make sure it does not move while baby is eating.
Con, I don’t like that there are little nooks for food to be stuck in and hard to clean. This would be really good for babies that have longer torso or maybe a baby who is over 12months as the tray is so high (wish this could be adjusted) and also there is a big gap between baby and table so if you don’t have a smock food will fall all over baby and onto the floor which makes clean up so annoying.
Also, the wheels can only go forward and backwards which i thought was such a poor design. If you are making wheels why not have it go sideways or around. Thank goodness we have a dog who helps me clean :).

Great quality and works for my son whose been choking while eating so this will keep him safe. I like that it goes up to age 6 for our specific needs. I didn’t like that the cover doesn’t stay in place on the bottom part but added some velcro to fix that.
I like the fact we received product on delivery scheduled date. The chair was easy to assemble and took about 20 minutes or so to complete assembly. We like the color scheme and are looking forward to using the table part of the unit.

Loving this high chair for my 10th month old baby. Very easy to assemble, light weight and has many purposes as my kid will grow until school age. Easy to wash and assemble. It’s base is a little wider but it helps with the stability.
Since my 10th month old baby is half baby led and half spoonfed, at 10th month old baby’s posture fits about right to the chair compared to the cosco high chair we were using before. The cloth insert is easy to remove and I like that I can use the high chair in so many different ways depending on the purpose and age of baby.
The whole system is so easy to clean which is very useful with how busy it is to have a messy baby. The straps are easy to out and very safe too. Because of its many uses, price point and safety- one of the best high chairs I have used.
The only minor flaw I see is that the footrest cannot be adjusted.
I got this highchair for my son, who is almost two now. He loves to eat (kid comes by it honest) and makes big messes with his food as he loves it with his whole self. As I was cleaning it off the other day, I thought to myself, I HAVE to write a review for this thing, so here we are.
This highchair is incredibly easy to clean. The tray insert snaps off for easy cleaning. We mostly put the food directly onto the insert, because why give him something to throw across the room?!?! Even after orange and green baby food and lots of spaghetti, still no stains or discoloration.
And y’all, this kid eats A LOT of spaghetti! The seat material is super easy to clean too. The way that it’s sewn, the seams and crevices are shallow so food doesn’t get caked in there. Even cleaning the sides of the tray is easy.
You know, where they inevitably grab on with their food-caked hands and try to drive the highchair to neverland and beyond, or try to escape, or just because that is what kids do, am I right? Yeah, all those parts are even easy to clean.
I don’t even know why. The overall design is just so sleek, it makes it hard to get very nasty. This thing also folds up soooo slim. We lived in a tiny apartment with an eat-in-kitchen that barely fit our small table and two chairs in.
This highchair folds up so slender and no gimmick, with one hand. But, my absolute favorite feature is the swivel tray. It makes one handed opening super convenient. Also, again, when you don’t have a lot of space, you don’t want to be balancing a kid in one arm, and trying to find somewhere to sit a highchair tray (before or after meal time) with the other arm.
Problem solved. You may be thinking this is a bit pricey for a highchair. I thought that. I mean, how fancy does a seat need to be for a baby/toddler?!?! Let me just tell you, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! It’s minimal design and high quality will last many years and for multiple kids and even store well for those grand kids eventually.
One more thing. customer service is great (my original tray insert arrived cracked on one clip, they replaced it immediately with no hassle). This chair still looks and operates as new, even after over a year of some serious usage.
Seriously, no complaints. You should look no further, get this one. You’re welcome. :).
I hate wooden restaurant high chairs. They are always gross, never get cleaned, and I’m sure would grow some new strain of bacteria in a Pitre dish! When we had our daughter, I swore I would never put her in one of those things and wanted an alternative.
WELCOME JOOVY HIGHCHAIR. We researched and found this chair. When I tell you it has been EVERYWHERE with us, it’s true. Every restaurant, on the boat, to the beach, camping, family’s events and festivals.
EVERYWHERE. it has been opened and closed a million times. Then I found out I was pregnant again, so we bought another one! Now we bring two everywhere we go. People may laugh at this review and think I’m nuts, but our Restaurant experiences are enjoyable! No up and down, no wanting to sit in our laps, no anxiety over what they are sitting in or touching.
They have their own trays that we can put their food directly on, and clean when we are done. It minimizes mess, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. My children are 2 and 1 now, and I have 4 JOOVY Highchairs.
Two stay in our house, and two stay in my Vehicle. I have many friends who have purchased this high chair and all love it like we do. The fold is one handed, the tray swings open and is adjustable. Get the chair.
I’ve used this high chair for both my kids, as I was too lazy to buy a different one. The good — it folds up easily, the tray swings open easily, and I like that you can adjust the tray closer to/farther from the baby.
The bad — food gets caked inside so many nooks and crannies, both in the vinyl seat and especially inside the armrests. It is a nightmare to clean. Perhaps more importantly, this high chair caused both my kids to slouch.
Nothing I do gets them to sit upright. The footrest is so low it’s pointless. My tall 3 year old’s feet still don’t reach it. I’ve since learned that a good high chair needs an adjustable foot rest so even a baby’s feet can touch it, and it should allow a baby to sit fully upright.
If you strap your kid into this high chair they will be unable to sit upright. Posture is slightly better without the straps. Sharing all of this because I wish I had known!!.
Siesta is there from the beginning. The multifunctional, ultra-compact high chair that easily accommodates a child’s growth. From birth, the Siesta can be used as a recliner or as a high chair for feeding, playing and resting.
The removable tray and multiple height positions allow child to sit right at the table.
The outlook is very nice. It is foldable and save space as a high chair. But once you unfold it, it is a little bigger than my expectations, I guess because my home is not big enough. However, the seat itself is a little bit hard so i have to pad around for my 2 month old baby.
And I am not very sure if my baby feels comfy or not yet I do like the multi height adjustment and seat pocket included. While there is another problem with the wheels, it is alike to airport trolley which you can’t 360C rotate as you wish, you need some skills to move the chair.
I hope my baby enjoys when she grows older. I also look forward to the moment dining with baby when she can sit upright.
I was looking for a more modern look and this high chair meets my expectations 100%. It is lightweight, super easy to set up, and doesn’t take a lot of space in the house. I love the leather seat because it’s so easy and convenient to clean.
My 9 month old baby girl has plenty of leg and body space. You get what you pay for with this chair with no doubt. When shopping around for the high chair I really hated most of the seating of other high chairs because they either had a plastic seat cover underneath the cushion seat (which I hated) or the high chair looked too bulky; it was just not pleasing.
I’m 26 years old and have a 2020 baby so I really didn’t want to buy her an old school looking chair. If you’re looking for comfort, slimmer shape, modern, chic, convenient, lightweight, quality, and beauty,,,, this is the chair that meets it all! Worth every dollar.
The Graco DuoDiner DLX 6-in-1 Highchair offers 6 growing stages from infant highchair to seating two kids at once. The highchair features infant body support and 3 recline positions for early comfort and is fully-featured with a self-standing fold and 5 height positions to match dining table height.
When baby is ready to join the family at the table, use the infant or toddler booster on a dining room chair. Then, convert to an elevated youth stool to give your older child their own seat at the table.
This highchair can even seat two kids at once to grow with your family! The Graco DuoDiner DLX 6-in-1 Highchair offers 6 growing stages from infant to big kid. Fully featured with a self-standing fold, 5-position height adjust, and 3-position footrest to adjust as your child grows.
As a mom of six, I have gone through a few chairs and boosters. This high chair is a decent high chair. It’s solid and sturdy, and I feel like my baby is safe in it. It has adjustable height and recline, which is nice because I can bring baby right upto the table.
The pad is easily removable, which was essential for me, for quick and easy cleaning. Some of the other models require a screw driver to take the pad off, and let’s be real- who has time for that? This does a lot of things, can be a booster and all that, which I don’t really care about, but if you are looking for a “All in one” chair, this is is.
I don’t really need the bells and whistles, just give me easy to clean and safe! What I don’t like about it is the snack tray. I don’t need it, but can’t use the full tray without the snack tray being there.
As my child’s legs get bigger, I wonder if she will fit. I also don’t like that the straps are fabric and hard to clean. My old high chair had straps made from a smooth material, making it easy to clean, but alas, it has broken and they don’t make that brand anymore.
Also, I have not washed the removable seat cover yet. It is made from a plastic type fabric that can be wiped clean, but I am uncertain how it will fare in the washing machine. Also,I want to add that it is hard to find cute patterns any more.
This one is sort of pretty, but where are all the cute animals and stuff we used to have?.
First time mom who did lots of research on best options for BLW. I love that this chair grows with the child and has the 2-kid seating option. We have a bar height kitchen table and a regular height dining room table, so the adjustable height works for both table settings.
I also like the 2-wheel function, so the chair can be easily moved. I was worried about the fabric seat cover, but is so easy to wipe down or throw in the wash. The oversized tray is great, but my future MLB star player still practices throwing food on the floor.
I only gave 4 stars because although it has the option to remove the tray with the one handed button, it’s so hard to press, it rarely works. Also, the tray storage on the back legs doesn’t stay up. Maybe mine is faulty or operator error? Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase and would recommend to new parents!.
I did extensive research to find the best high chair available. This chair was appealing due to its 6 in 1 feature. I’ve used this chair for my child every day since he was a few months old. Now that he is on solids, I must say, it is not easy to clean.
You’re not supposed to wash it in the washing machine, but It doesn’t wipe clean the way it is advertised. I find myself extremely frustrated with this product on a daily basis. If Grace offered multiple covers, I might not be back in the market for another chair.
Also this product does not lock, which makes it difficult to strap in my child. I recommend that you also be sure to look under the Very bulky tray while locking it in place to make sure that you don’t get your babies legs caught.
The straps are fraying and the seat cover is stained. Crumbs get embedded in the cover and it’s just gross. Overall, I would not recommend this product.
The Chair easily adapts to fit your little one’s needs. Use the high chair setting for younger babies starting solids, and convert it into a booster seat to give them a seat at the table. When your little one isn’t so little anymore, turn it into a Play Chair.
Easy to clean, non-toxic material and 100 day risk free trial.
I first encountered Lalo visiting my sister in NYC this spring as we stumbled upon the storefront. I was enthralled by The Chair immediately as we walked in the door – the minimalistic design, color options and overall aesthetic appeal.
However, I am a pediatric feeding specialist (Speech Pathologist by background) and I literally spend my entire day feeding children and therefore have pretty high standards when it comes to feeding paraphernalia.
Surely this chair was too good to be true. right? A product this stylish could also not be truly functional and meet all the check boxes. I already had a chair on my registry that I had used and loved in therapy for 5 years.
Well fast forward and after hours of research The Chair was the first assembled baby product off my registry that I now tell all of my patients/families about it. I’ve been able to use it and some of the other Lalo products in real time already and could not be more impressed.
Part of my job is staying very aware of all the different types of products available to families – from high chairs to utensils. I am constantly being asked to weigh in and compare products. I can genuinely and wholeheartedly say that the Lalo Chair has blown me away.
– It is easy to clean – Comes with a cushion unlike some other popular chairs – Incredibly easy to assemble (also hello – the delivery/unboxing experience was beautiful) – Actually a phenomenal price point for all of its features – It is not a product that only lasts for 3 months.
It morphs over time. Cannot wait to see it as a play chair and know it’s where our feeding journey first began. – It pulls comfortably to a table – Between the wide base, adjustable safety straps, belly bar, etc.
it passes the safety test for me! – It’s Eco friendly + BPA free – The parts can be purchased separately – I’ve sold many patients and friends on it by reminding them there’s a trial period. This is huge! I could go on, but suffice it to say.
As a first time parent I was somewhat lost on what features were important in a high chair. I was willing to spend money, but also didn’t want to waste money just for what was popular. After having the chair for a couple of months now, I can honestly say I feel we’ve already gotten every penny out of it.
My daughter loves sitting in the chair, it’s easy to move around throughout the house as I work on various tasks. She’s right at table height instead of being super high which makes it feel like she’s part of the conversation/experience.
My favorite feature is the simple ribbon-like straps. Comfortable for my daughter and easy to clean. I’m not sure if we’ll end up using the play chair feature later on, but I don’t see why not! We’ll definitely be able to use this for another child and bonus; it doesn’t look obnoxious and clunky.
For safety I love the wide feet. We have a spacious kitchen and dining room, but even if you live in tight quarters, this chair has a slim design while still having a large footprint to avoid tipping.
I can’t speak to the cleaning situation (for the cushion and taking off the tray) as our daughter hasn’t started on solids yet, but it works great to corral/allow for play time! If you have the funds but are unsure it’s worth it, in my opinion it totally is! I would recommend the chair kit with the cushion and play legs.
Without the cushion I think the chair would be a bit too big to start using as early as we did (~5 months).
I’m so glad I got this chair – I highly recommend it! It’s perfect. Not only does it look great (blending in nicely with my apt decor), but is also very safe and functional. It’s extremely sturdy and has a good weight – it stays put and won’t wiggle no matter what; it includes non-slip rubber ends on its legs that help protect our wood floor while keeping the chair secured in place.
Also love the fact you have the option to remove the tray so your little one can eat directly at the table. The quality is great and it was easy to assemble it. It’s on the pricier side, but worth every penny for how much it will be used and the fact it can grow with our baby into toddlerhood (turning into a play chair).
I got the green color set that includes a seat cushion, which is adorable and makes it more comfortable for our baby. It was shipped pretty fast too and arrived in perfect condition – nicely wrapped and well protected.
Lastly, I love Lalo’s branding (ok, I know this not so relevant for most folks lol), but it just shows how thoughtful they were in developing the product from the minimalist design aesthetic to its simple how-to manual.
Easily unfolds, locks into place, and folds back up in seconds Durable material with a clear vinyl tray cover that easily wipes clean. Built-in cup holder. Comfortable lap belt securely holds child. For children up to 35 pounds.
Cleaning your ciao! baby chair. Easily cleans with just water If needed, use a mild detergent Do not use bleach or any solvent cleaners as damage to plastic or fabric can occur. Always allow chair to completely dry before storing in bag Dimensions: Approx.
Open Size: 23x23x32. Approx. Weight: 8 lbs. Color: Black.
I would have given 5 stars but its extremely pricey compared to other products made rhe same. However it’s really great and my granddaughter loves it she can sit anywhere with us. It’s not too tall nor is it too low.
She fits in it perfectly 7months and 20 pounds 27 inches. Pretty average with some fatty cuteness. It folds and unfolds just like a typical camping or beach chair and it has a cup holder and carrying bag.
I see her in this for quite awhile at least 2 summers. Its kind of like a lifeguards chair but shorter. It also has metal latches to lock in place to keep it open and added stability. We will carry it everywhere even around the house.
This product was a lifesaver at first for taking my son with me to work. It kept him contained, and was very portable. My issues with this product came when my son got to to the age of feeding himself.
The tray when set up is on a slant and causes everything to slide right on to his lap, making it pretty much useless for feedings. The fabric is also very difficult to clean. I have found other portable high chairs with hard clip on trays that are much nicer to use and offer the same convenience for portability.
I was really excited about the concept of this chair! We wanted something portable for camping or even just parks, backyard or quick trips. The seatbelt is really difficult to get on a squirmy baby, and the weight of the child sitting in the chair, pulls the tray fabric down.
So the tray sags toward the child so any food or toys just goes immediately into the child’s lap. The tray was kind of the selling feature for me, but unfortunately it is just not functional.
Little ones can dine and play with this high chair that easily converts back and forth from a feeding station to a play table. After meal and playtime messes are done, the removable tray insert can be popped into the dishwasher and the seat covers can be tossed in the wash.

I hesitated to buy this because I thought it was ugly, however, once I put it together, I love it! It’s perfect for my granddaughter. I love that it will convert to a table and chair when she is older.
Pinky Buttons is a colorful pink and orange dot pattern on sturdy and machine washable fabric. Everyone gets a seat at the table with My Little Seat. All My Lovin’ is a sweet pattern of pink hearts on sturdy and machine washable fabric.
My baby hated this seat. She cried so bad whenever she was put in here but especially when I buckled the straps. I could not feed her here. She was also hanging as her butt didn’t reach the seat while sitting in this.
I would say this was definitely not worth my money. It worked for maybe 2 days then she was it.
What a great idea! As a new grandmother I was looking for something that would suffice for feeding my grand daughter without having to purchase a new highchair. I had an old antique wooden highchair but it did not have a tray.
This little travel high chair seat fit the bill perfectly. I love it. It is easy to install and fits securely over the chair and the child cannot wiggle out of it. It fits several size chairs and is washable.
The fabric is very durable. I did put a little cushioning behind it to soften the hard wooden seat of my old chair. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that travels or just needs an extra seat just in case.
This is the best gift for new parents! My Niece visited with an 11 month old. She had one and it fit every chair here, in restaurants, at friends’ homes. Washes easily, packs small. I love it and it’s my go to gift for baby showers!.
Most parents choose to start baby led weaning when their child is around six months old. By this age, most babies are able to sit up unassisted and have good head control. Starting baby led weaning at this age allows your child to be more involved in the process and reduces the risk of choking.
To start baby led weaning, simply offer your child small pieces of soft, cooked food and let them feed themselves. There is no need to puree or mash the food, as your child will be able to gum and chew the food on their own.
It is important to offer a variety of foods, as this will help your child to explore new flavors and textures.
If you are concerned about your child choking, you can cut the food into small pieces or offer finger foods that are easy to gum and chew. You can also offer foods that dissolve easily, such as ripe bananas or cooked carrots.
The most important thing to remember when starting baby led weaning is to go at your child’s pace. Some babies may want to eat more frequently, while others may want to eat less often. There is no right or wrong way to do it – just follow your baby’s cues and let them lead the way.
