My husband and I love cooking and trying different things. Though I didn’t get it for tofu, we do like mixing vegetables up with different types of seasoning other than the typical garlic and butter.

The first thing I loved about this product before even trying it was the hand written letter from the family who creates this seasoning, even addressed me by name. That right there is absolutely the best way anyone could run a business.

It shows they care about their product. The second thing I loved about this product was the company who makes it helps feed families in need. So right off the bat, this stuff could have tasted horrible and I would have still loved it! But here’s the thing: it’s good!!! We love spicy food and unique things.

We put this on some mixed veggies, steamed fresh from our garden and YUM!!! Makes me want to go buy some tofu and try it that way. Because if someone can make tofu taste incredible, kudos to you! So yes, this product & delivery, along with their project to feed the hungry gets them an A++ in my book! More companies should be like them! They’ve earned themselves a faithful customer.

This is my second purchase Ducros Herbes de Provence; my first order lasted 8 months, and I use it pretty much every day, sometimes twice a day. Definitely a great buy, for freshness and quantity. Highly recommend.

I started buying this last winter (it is December {again} now) and have been in love since. I was fairly sure, after getting a sniff of it in the package that it wasn’t for me. Wrong! It’s wonderful.

I just make it with ghee (or grapeseed oil) and basmati or jasmine rice. I started using this the same time I got some Garam Masala from Banyan as well. When we eat a little too. well, not an altogether healthy diet, we have beans with garam masala and Kitchari with rice for dinner.

I told my best friend recently that it’s like a gift for my digestion process. (Which is famous for being temperamental!) After that combo for a meal, we’re full, but never stuffed/bloated. Actually, satisfied, but feeling “light” if that makes sense.

I know if I ate this every day of my life, I’d get mighty tired, but it sure seems as if my body and my personal tastes would be happy. My husband, a lover of so many different foods, says he could eat it for days on end too, but we generally made do with having this combo 2x a week.

I really think our digestion and overall “feel good” is directly associated with this wonderful and simple meal combo. Bottom line: it’s just good. It tastes good, feels good on the tummy and we feel better, more comfortable overall.

I started adding kitchari into my meal rotation a month ago and now eat it as my main meal several times a week. I love the Banyan spice mix – very convenient, economical per serving (I haven’t purchased all of the ingredients separately so don’t know how it compares, though), and I appreciate that it has asafetida in it, as I also recently cut garlic out of my diet and it provides a nice savory flavor.

I don’t bother to soak the rice and mung dal overnight, and actually find that it fully cooks in about 20 minutes, so it makes for a fast, convenient meal. Will definitely continue to purchase this.

This has become a Winter staple in our home. We use it when we do an Ayurvedic cleanse twice a year. It also makes a wonderful seasoning for those Winter meals when we want to feel especially warm and nourished.

Obviously you can put together your own spices for an Ayurvedic cleanse. Banyan just makes it easy! As a company I real appreciate Banyan. It always feels like they have my order packed and ready to ship before I even hit the confirm button.

I love this mix of herbs and use liberally on sautéed vegetables as well as in my special tuna salad which also includes toasted pine nuts, fresh chopped parsley and minced celery with mayonnaise. A real crowd pleaser!.

I add these herbs to any kind of beef roast – the herbs taste fresh and add a great French spin on a traditional roast. Use frequently in place of fresh herbs.

Fine Herbs was formerly called Pot Herbs and is a mix of everything subtle and refined about French cooking. I cooked my favorite egg dish for my girls and they took all of my herbs back to college, so I’m left ordering more, and some for Christmas.

Such a beautiful herb. Vertile as long as you don’t use a large amount. It’s floral and fragrant. Perfect for desserts and to add to drinks. I would love to see this in a large bottle. One of my favorite herbs.

Bought this thinking it would run cool as I only need 100w with surges reaching 150w. But the moment it has any load at all the fan comes on full pelt! PARDON?!?! Plus points is it has crocodile clips and cigarette lighter input leads included Minus.

I keep my herbs and spices in the freezer. I’m in Ontario, Canada and our summers are brutal. Heat warnings almost every day. Hot hot hot! Herbs and spices lose their flavour quickly in these conditions.

Hello, this is the best premixed seasoning I have ever used! I use in/on 75% my cooking. Dressings, dips, sauces, meats, seafood, even. french toast! That little PoP of Lemon makes so much difference! When I make dressing, 3 batches at a time using 3 different vinegars, making little to go packets for dining out.

For best results allow the dressing to rest at least 12 hours. Have you tried the Tomato powder? This is versatile and tastes like Fresh Tomatoes. When fresh are not in season I use this to brighten jar and canned tomatoes!! I seriously recommend both items!!! My last order was 9 items, always trying at least one new item per order.

When I open the package of Little Italy, the aroma alone is intoxicating. This is my new favorite and I put this herb blend on everything. I don’t know why it’s so good- seems like a pretty typical combination of herbs.

I think it’s just that the ingredients are so fresh and high quality. I think it must also have just the right ratios because there isn’t any one herb that stands out to much. Good balance.

Lovely scent of sage when you open the bottle. Finely ground so works well when seasoning.

Good quality product. Sometimes better than fresh, like in meatballs, because they are flavor without moisture.

They are crispy but not too dry. Good flavor. I put them on cream cheese spread on Swiss cheese.

I have been using for many years. Because I like the flavor of their spices especially for dry. I use this in a lot of dishes so I get the bigger bottle. I like to use it in gravy, spaghetti sauce, chicken soup and shrimp scampi.

This is a must-have in out Spice and Herb cabinet! We use this on roasts, in bread, for poultry, and even with mashed/roasted potatoes as well! The flavor is full and bold, and it’s never dusty out of the bottle either.

I purchased this for a specific recipe. I couldn’t believe the price. Upon receipt, it contained all nice large flakes of oregano, just as pictured. Best of all, wow, it truly smells amazing! It smells waaayyy better than any dried oregano I’ve ever used.

Now I use it for all my recipes calling for oregano. It’s also great in spice rubs.

This only applies to packaging! The products are great, but it is clear that the packers do not take any thought or pride in their work. Perhaps they don’t have a choice, but I can say that I received a box of hand soap and expensive spices that were just thrown together in a box.

The soap leaked all over my very expensive spice. No effort was made to separate the two. Really?.

I like adding cilantro to some of my mexican dishes and was glad to try this. It gives the right amount of cilantro taste to my foods. I think it’s pretty neat. I will probably be buying this again.

I am a huge McCormick fan because they make great seasonings and none of their products are very expensive. Once again McCormick found a way to get the perfect flavor into another one of their little bottles.

I have used this cinnamon in coffee and in my tea, and in both drinks the cinnamon just makes my mornings and evenings better. I actually used to prefer my coffee without anything in it, but now I feel like something is missing whenever I don’t use this stuff.

It stirs into my drinks perfectly so there aren’t any flakes going into my mouth and the flavor is enhanced with just a little bit of this cinnamon. While I do love the flavor, I think it would be the perfect cinnamon if it was just a little bit stronger.

I wouldn’t want it to overpower everything else, but it would be great if it went just a level or two higher in strength for my stronger coffees. Other than that, this stuff is just amazing and will be in my cupboard for a long time.

This is a staple I’m my spice cabinet. McCormick spices are always reliable quality. It’s a good price for the quality. I would not improve anything , this dried thyme is used in alot of my cooking and provides great flavor ! Totally satisfied with the product.

I’ve always bought McCormick brand spices. I find that they are a reasonable price, easy to find, and good quality. They have a variety of bottle sizes as well which is great! We use Thyme in a lot of our recipes and I would highly recommend you keep some in your pantry!.

This turmeric “Sweet Blend” by Frontier Co-op is a great blend for use in making turmeric latte. I regularly add it to my cold-brew coffee along with half & half and Ceylon cinnamon. The blend includes black pepper because turmeric’s healthful properties are made more bioavailable when taken with piperine.

Use it in butternut squash soup, or in seasoning roasted vegetables like sweet potatoes, squashes, etc. It could be added to sweet breads or sprinkled on muffins before baking. Fall is an opportune time to buy it and experiment with it.
