20 Best Herbal Tea For Detox (2023 Updated)

Ive been buying this product for sometime. Research shows that dandelion root is good for detoxing the liver and the kidneys. So Ill drink at least 16 ounces of this tea a day. I make it 1 gallon at a time.

Usually mix with some organic green tea also. I Sweeten with Stevia. Has yummy cinnamon and hibiscus added to it. im not a doctor so I cant say as how its working, but I am 63 years old and have great health.

Beats drinking soda or other unhealthy drinks. Im not really a water person so this is great for me. Only complaint I have is about the paper bags that they come in. Very hard to rip off the top without tearing the teabag within.

They could work on their bag design.

Great tea, but horrible tea bags and packaging. Tears and breaks open easily and tea, while good enough, is too small to use in tea strainers. I haven’t had but one other dandelion tea before (roasted) and that wasn’t particularly good.

This is better but I admit it can be a bit sour and if you add sugar it’s better but a bit like warm cool aid. Still not bad for it’s benefits. Can be used to potentially reduce diabetes possibilities.

Look up the research on that.

I love this tea, although I have noticed it takes more bags to reach the flavor I remember. From 1 tea bag now 3. The packaging is a little better than it was. I would rather pay more than have to waste all the packaging of 3 pouches.

I’m in love with this tea! My recent order was the fourth time I have purchased this tea. Not only does the tea have a warm and rich flavor, but it has also been pivotal in aiding with gastrointestinal irregularities.

Since drinking the tea once/twice daily, I have also seen a major improvement in bloating and my overall skin and gut health. The tea bags are also reusable, which allows me to use the same tea bag up to 3 to4 times.

I have been enamored with the great customer service in terms of shipping, the mission of this company the fact that it is women owned!.

The tea itself using only 1 cup is very delicious and you can truly taste the vanilla and raspberry flavor. Ive been drinking it every day for 4 days and so far love it! The only downside is on the packaging it says that one teabag is supposed to make 2 cups.

I’ve tried this using ice and no ice and either way the tea tasted watered down, so now I use 2 tea bags every day. Might be trying something else soon.

I get excited every time this item get dropped off. It’s so delicious and soothing. I drink it because it’s delicious. I drink it in the morning and in the afternoon. If you have not ordered it yet then you are missing out.

Due to have amazing this drink was I was able to tell what foods were bad for me. I stopped drinking coffee, ate less junk food. I highly recommend this tea. I do not regret ordering this tea and I don’t think I ever will!.

The first time I ever tasted this, I thought there was coffee residue leftover in the Keurig from my partner’s coffee. Nope. This just has a very diluted coffee taste to it. Maybe it’s just me. I’m not a coffee drinker anymore, so it’s not a flavor I exactly love; therefore, I usually mix some other tea and some stevia with it for a flavor closer to what I enjoy.

It’s great for a detox or shedding a little bit of water weight since dandelion is a helpful diuretic.

I tried JusTea for the first time recently but not this same flavor. I tried the ‘Purple Rain’ which has listed lemongrass, Kenyan purple tea and hibiscus as the main three ingredients. What I taste the most is the lemongrass which is one of my favorite teas so I am really happy with this blend.

I like the brand and the packaging and I will purchase a different variety as soon as I finish this one. I enjoy herb, spice and fruit infusions more than actual tea so this product is perfect for me, if you are looking for a strong tea flavor such as black tea then this is not for you.

I love Earl Grey Tea. This is Earl Grey at its best. Delicious and full-bodied. I will definitely purchase it again.

This tea tastes alright. It’s outlined in the description but it’s a blend mixed with Chinese and Indian teas – it’s not as African as the packaging let’s on. The packaging also says the Kenyan tea is grown without pesticides but I’m assuming the Chinese and Indian portion is not organic (there is no organic certification on it).

Overall, expensive for a not fully organic tea that tastes just okay.

I wanted just chamomile tea . I hate taste of lemongrass . Figured out after I already bought it all teas of this brand have lemongrass even mint and this camomile.

I’ve been taking it consistently usually in the mornings and sometimes before bed. I’ve noticed by body is more hydrated which is a plus because i have a busy life with school and work. whenever i notice a headache about to form, i make me a cup of this and add a lil honey and my headaches are gone! i personally don’t like taking medications so using this for my headaches are a game changer!.

I alternate on these teas from yogi green tea to ginger tea to detox tea. I don’t really enjoy the flavor especially without some sugar or honey but I did notice I did not have to take any motrin once a month on my psycho.

I do not enjoy taking any pills but sometimes once a month on my psycho I have no choice because the cramps can be unbearable. Told my daughter. Not sure if it will work on her since everyone is different but it’s better than taking motrin all the time.

I recommend this tea for the 6 weeks of detoxification, honestly it helped me to reduce stomach inflammation, and helped me to start losing weight,( sure eating healthy, and doing exercise, is not magic) the tea is a good cleanser to start a healthy life! Only if you are going to drink the tea is good to follow a diet those 6 weeks avoiding dairy and fatty foods because it will make you go to the bathroom very fast! And please drink a lot of water to be hydrated! I won’t said it help me to lose weight but definitely cleaned my body from all those junk food!.

It tastes good. Be careful and consume as described. No more than 20 Oz a day. You will be right Ning to the bathroom In only 3 days, one can lose 5 lbs of water weight. It also cleanses your system of all the toxins.

I usually drink tea before bed as part of my routine, I go for a chamomile most of the time. I was a bit hesistant to get something that blended herbs I hadn’t tried before. As soon as I opened the bag I smelled the perfect blend of herbs, nothing too overpowering.

The taste was exactly the same and by the time I’m done with my cup of tea my body and mind are ready for bed! It’s like a cup of sleep potion and I love it!.

I have always been skeptical of the claims made by herbal supplements and wanted to get through a large part of the 28 day detox period before commenting on the Rapid Fire Tea to get some perspective.

This is a great tasting tea that I have been drinking in lieu of coffee first thing in the morning, and as the last beverage of the evening. Not a big tea drinker I was not sure what to expect, but the herb combination with hints of citrus and licorice are quite enjoyable and I find myself looking forward to it in the morning and evening.

Having been on a very low carb diet for a few months I wanted to use the Rapid Fire tea as an insurance policy to get all the lower GI tract cleaned out and if additional weight loss occurred, that would be a happy bonus.

Unexpectedly it does seem like this tea has had a positive impact on energy levels and I am noticing a reduced sleep requirement, which is a great added benefit. There does not seem to be noticeable weight loss but that might be related to the low carb diet.

But it does seem there is a much higher level of activity in the lower GI, if you get my drift. In short, it tastes great, seems to improve energy and digestive function. All upside.

I just received my order of total tea detox on June 11th 2021. So far I made 2 cups 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. We don’t like it. It has no flavor. I was really excited about trying it because it has great reviews.

I might have a bad batch. I really can’t believe I spent $20 on this. The tea I buy in the store is cheaper and flavorful. I will not be ordering anymore.

The K cups are smooth like the tea bags and work well with any keriug. This is a great option when your on the go. The tea has a rich earthy taste very smooth and pleasant. Sometimes I drink it just for the taste daily.

Although this is described as a organic detox tea. I enjoy it for its distinctive flavor.. strong hibiscus and licorice root blend.

Really effective – I felt the cleansing difference straight away!

Wow. I am so suprised at how much I liked this tea. I thought it was going to be like all the other detox teas I tried but it isn’t at all. The flavor is light and mellow and it doesn’t make you run to the bathroom every five minuets like those fake Instagram teas do.

I will definitely be purchasing this often.

This flavor lacks the taste, that Ahmad teas usually have, maybe because it’s a detox tea, but when I make some tea from fresh ginger it tastes really rich so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

the taste is yuky, just add some real lemon to your tea, but it certainly does clean you out very well!!!!! I will say this, after you drink this tea, be sure a bathroom is handy!!! And i do not recommend drinking more than 1 cup a day, you can, but be prepared to hang in a bathroom a lot than you normally would!.

I am not a fan of these cleansing teas. Most of the time they are just laxatives. Not to mention many people become addicted to them. There are so many healthier alternatives than these kind of products.

When I ran out of this product I purchased a different diet tea product off the shelf. After using that product for several days I never saw results. So, I am back on this site to purchase the real thing that I know works without fail.

This tea really works, and very fast as well. It’s very strong so you have to be cautious and not use this more than a week at a time. Otherwise If you need to lose a few pounds for an event your problem is solved here!.

This is an ok tea. it did its job. its not the worst but its not the best either. if you dot like the taste try adding honey, cinnamon, or some milk and sugar

I’m a herbal tea lover. Drink tea all day long. And. Dandelion Root Tea is one of my all time favorite teas. Great substitute for coffee. (note: does not taste like coffee, but is a great substitute) Anyway, my favorites are TraditionalMedicinals and Choice makes a great one with a touch of Spearmint/Bergamot.

They’re great. I’ve tried others off and on through the years and they’re generally like coffee. Some better. however, at the end of the day, all are dandelion root tea, and that’s a good thing. NOW, I get (no pun intended) this “Now” tea which is insipid, bitter.

IT IS SO WEAK you can barely taste the bitter, but bitter is about all I get. I would compare Dandelion Cleansing Herbal Tea b NOW Real Tea with TraMed tea strength-wise only as having to have 4 or 5 NOW tea bags to equal ONE of the TraMed bags.

But forget the weakness. You do not want it any stronger! The stuff is so bitter, literally – I could not finish the cup. I actually poured it down the drain. Never again. I’m so confused about the high ratings this tea is getting.

I hate to give low marks to anyone, but this stuff! ack! Warning needed! Do not waste your money.

I bought this tea so I could compare it to Traditional Medicinal’s dandelion tea. This box has more bags so I thought I’d give it a try. Actually, I like this- it tastes as if it’s made from the whole plant, so it has more of a well rounded, grassy and earthy flavor.

It’s not astringent and acrid like whole root tea. It’s very delicious and I enjoy it a lot. But, it does has a few flaws. There’s a strange grit that’s left in the bottom of the cup that I think is from the milling process, like pumice dust.

Don’t drink the dregs of the tea or include the fine powder at the bottom of the package. I’ve once even found a small, red rock in my tea that came from the tea bag. If the flavor wasn’t so good, I’d give this tea a much lower score due to the strange processing gunk.

I was excited to see that Vitacost was carrying NOW products and usually I like their products very well. I ordered this tea expecting it to be like the other dandelion tea that I drink and they taste nothing alike.

Traditional Medicinals is a very smooth substitute for coffee, and I was expecting the same with this product. It has very grassy tasting and not very enjoyable to me and there was a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cup.

I will drink it since I purchased it, hopefully I will acquire a taste for it. I do like it is non-GMO verified and dandelion is good for the liver. But I will return to the other product when I finish this.

Love this tea! I normally drink another brand of herbal detox tea and wasn’t able to get it. I saw this and it seemed very similar so I figured I’d give it a shot. It is wonderful! It’s nice to pick up hints of flavor without it being overwhelming.

Just started drinking it, so I can’t speak to the detox part yet, but the ingredient list has an awesome lineup so I’m sure it will deliver!.

Tastes like grass mixed with earth and doesn’t smell good at all. There are more pleasant tasting teas out there that have the same benefits. I think most of the positive comments come from those doing some type of a cleanse and it’s mind over matter.

I have used this and cleanse tea from great value. Really am impressed. Organic and taste good. I think it’s good to detox the body in the winter from all the toxins we have gathered during the winter.

The name brand teas like these are so much more expensive, these are great choices. I will buy again.

I recently bought the detox tea after about a year’s wait as it had been out of stock. But the new tea is very different in effect – it hasn’t helped relieve digestive issues at all! I’m not sure why the tea has changed but unless this is explained and refunded, I would no longer recommend this tea!.

Wow. This really does what it says on the tin! This is my new favourite go-to kitchen staple. I occasionally suffer from bloating, and it really helps to cleanse and purify my system after a period of over-indulgence.

Also – I absolutely adore the taste! It has really lovely subtle hints of aniseed & liquorice, which provide natural sweetness. Perfect!.

This tea is incredible. It moves the gut in a gentle way and also tastes delicious. Plus the jar lasts for ages so good value too. Will definitely purchase this again- it really does what it says! It’s incredible.
