The C3 Calima is a wonderful canister vacuum by Miele. I have used and owned many canisters from the German manufacturer, both in Germany and here in the US. The only disappointment was one made in the US who lasted only 3 years, as I had to replace the motor unit.
Since then I made sure that I bought only vacuums made in Germany, or those that used German made parts. I bought the last vacuum 7 years ago, and it is still in top notch condition. I bought the Calima for a new vacation home.
While I do not know, of course, much about the longtime reliability of the Calima, it performs superbly sofar.
I’m not sure if I’m reviewing this on the correct product page but I’m writing about the Miele complete c3 excellence powerline vacuum. I absolutely love this thing. It was not cheap but I 100% stand by the purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.
It’s great for many reasons. It’s bagged and everything is sealed so no need to empty a bin regularly. We’ve had this vacuum for over a year now and I still haven’t had to change the first bag we put in yet.
I was originally not super happy with having to buy bags given their price, but after seeing how long a single bag lasts, I have no qualms. The suction is great and has multiple settings depending on what you’re looking to vacuum.
There’s a nice long retractable cord that makes it easy to move around and to store. We have central vac at our new place but I just bust this guy out instead of using the central vac.
I absolutely love this vacuum. Yes, it is expensive, but I’ve learned that at least as far as appliances are concerned, you get what you pay for. The power head works very well to pick up all the hair, dirt and other junk from carpets.
I love the adjustable wand height, and the fact that it adjusts down for more compact storage. The hardwood tool is like, honestly, the best thing in the world. It pivots in all directions and makes getting under the sofa and other furniture a breeze without having to lay down on the floor to do it.
We’ve had this for about 5 years now, and I still think it’s as great as I did when we first got it. I highly recommend it—it is way better than the Dyson we had before!.
Unique and stylish vacuum systems with customized bags and filters are tailored to the precise needs of any household. The all-purpose Kona canister vacuum with integrated accessories features a new, low-noise powerful vortex motor, +/- suction control via foot switch with six power settings, and deluxe comfort-grip handle with Electro Plus electrobrush control.
The unique electrostatically charged, 6-layer GN AirClean filter bag captures fine particulate while the revolutionary AirClean sealed system keeps it contained. Hygienic HEPA exhaust filter traps 99.
Where do I even start? I’ve had many different vacuum cleaners in the past, including those by Shark and Dyson. This beast is in a different league. It definitely wasn’t cheap (I paid $799) but it’s so worth the price! When friends or family ask what I paid they think I’m crazy till they try it for themselves! I couldn’t and wouldn’t EVER go back to any other brand of vacuum! Firstly the build quality is far superior.
I expect this will last as long as my old Miele which lasted around 15 years. It feels very solid and dense and has an unmistakable air of quality about it. Talking about air, it really does suck it in.
It’s the most powerful vacuum I’ve ever used and easily lifts up rugs, carpet, cushions and lino in the kitchen! Nothing can stand in its way. It handles everything with ease. It also has a very effective air filter on board which helps with any odors.
The machine comes with a handy selection of brush heads and tools underneath a hatch on top of its sports car-like chassis. There are also buttons that govern the level of suction power – from a low power mode suitable for vacuuming curtains and other delicate items, a quieter mode for when you’re vacuuming through the night and of course the rip-roaring full suction mode for everything else.
Without taking up too much more of your time – this is a spectacular piece of engineering which you will not regret buying. It will last you decades and can handle everything you throw at it. Buy it and love it.
Just make sure that when your friends borrow it (which they will ask to do) you get it back!.
My husband and I are tall people, I absolutely love the fact that this canister vacuum has a long nozzle where I don’t feel like I’m leaning over too much to vacuum the floor. It’s very quiet, you can still have a conversation with it running.
The turbo suction is no joke, be careful it’ll eat your rug easily, learned there are different settings for the suction amount! Love that the floor head is much larger than the other leading brands.
I also have allergies, so this HEPA filtration system is a a bonus to help keep our inside air clean. My only suggestion for future models is to have an option for on/off switch to be on the handle too.
You always have to use the foot switch for operation, for older folks it’s a long of bending down for operation. Overall so glad we invested the money to get this great vacuum!.
Pros: I never thought a design of a vacuum could change so much the use of it. Miele is exeptionally convenient and solid to use. All main attachments lock in, small attachments are always within the vacuum so you will never lose them.
All the parts cna be carried with one hand. Due to long hose and other parts even tall people can use the vacuum without the need to bend – you can even use Miele in the centre of the room and reach all the floor in medium size rooms without moving the vacuum, cable is so long I can vacuum most of the house without switching power outlets.
Performance is the best I have seen. Has two main attachments, one is turbine with brushes works perfectly for carpet and picks up every hair but sometimes struggles to pick up small rice bits. Other ending picks up rice bits without no problems, but doesn’t pick as many hair.
Bags and filters have a decent price, 4 and 2 filters (lasting around a year) cost about 15-18 gbp or 11gbp if you buy 4 years instantly. Vacuum doesn’t release any “vacuum smell” air out, Miele does not get hot as my previous vacuums.
I just can’t say enough good things about it, especially if you get it with a discount. Cons: Miele c3 cag and dog is amazing, but it could improve in:-Easier way to remove hair from Turbine brush. -Small attachments locking.
-A more straight forward opening of the vacuum to reveal bags and filters.

76 quart HEPA AirClean filter (HA 50) Pure Suction Combination Floorhead (SBD 285-3) Electro Premium Electrobrush (SEB 236) Integrated Dusting Brush, Upholstery Tool and Crevice Nozzle 36 ft overall cleaning radius Model Overview: Complete C3 Marin Color: Marine Blue Floor Tools: Electro Premium Electrobrush (SEB 236) Pure Suction Parquet Floorhead (SBB 300-3) Filter: HEPA AirClean Filter (HA 50).
Works like a champ. I have hardwoods, rugs, carpet, and tile throughout current home and it switches seamlessly between all three without having to change the device. Has been a life saver with hardwood floors and no longer having to waste 45+minutes/day sweeping to only have a ton of doggo hair left behind- 20mins and all surfaces are clean af! Quiet, effective, and extremely efficient.
I’ve only used it a few times, but this canister vacuum is much quieter than any vacuum cleaner I’ve had before. It also has lots of ways to adjust it to the needs of the particular job at hand. I like that the tools have somewhere to hide and that the stick clips into the canister to stand up vs.
our previous vacuum which gave me gray hairs from the loud bang every time the stick wand would topple over onto the floor!.
The Shark Wandvac Self-Empty System is the ultra-powerful lightweight cordless vacuum that empties automatically. It features HyperVelocity suction power and a PowerFins brushroll to deep-clean floors and carpets with no hair wrap.
And when you’re done cleaning, Wandvac automatically empties itself into a fully sealed HEPA base so fine dust and debris aren’t released back into your home.
I just started using this Shark Wandvac Cirdless Vacuum and I love it. I usually use a Vacuum With a cord and Vacuum bag for My regular house cleaning but After using this Shark Vacuum I am not going back.
I love The Vacuum cleaner it has great Suction and is very easy to push And move around the room. It Picks everything up including Dog hair. The rollers are self Cleaning so the hair dies not. get stuck in the rollers and needs to Be cut loose.
The Vacuum is lightweight which is perfect for Me since I am older and have Back issues it is so easy to use Without getting back pain from Using a heavy unit. This Vacuum Comes with several attachments Which allows you to easily reach Those hard to clean areas.
The Vacuum is also able to fit under My couch to remove dirt since it Is flat and moves around easily. While running the Vacuum it Also adjusts nicely between The carpet and hardwood floors I think my favorite feature on the Vacuum is the self empty system Everyone knows how messy and Annoying it is to dump all the Dirt from your Vacuum to the Trash and the mess it makes When it spills on the floor.
You Don’t have to worry about that. with this system it removes the dirt For you so you don’t have to Deal with all the messy hair And dirt that have been removed From your carpet. All in all this Is a great Vacuum and I am Very pleased with its performance.
I absolutely LOVE this vacuum. I have nothing negative to say about it and it is now my go-to vacuum. It is SO easy to assemble and it’s super easy to change configurations and different accessories.
If I can do it, anyone can!! I love how lightweight and maneuverable it is. It’s easy to use under a table, stand or couch. I also love how many different configurations you can use like a full vacuum, a hand vac, or the hand vac with the extension wand.
It’s also very easy to empty the hand vac dirt cup. I also absolutely love how easy it is to attach to the charging base which then empties into the base automatically. When attached to the base, it automatically charges the vacuum or if you don’t want to charge every time, just detach the hand vac which can be stored on the vacuum itself.
It’ also really easy to take the battery out of the hand vac section if you need it out for any reason. It’s as simple as can be to open the filter sections to clean the filters as well as taking out the dirt cup that’s in the base so you can empty that.
It’s honestly the easiest/best vacuum I’ve ever used and makes a great vacuum for quick jobs or to give to a college student or someone who just needs to clean up quick and easy jobs. This vacuum cannot get any easier to use! I highly, highly recommend it to everyone! I would buy a ton of these if I had the need for them!!.
I do my best work on smooth floors and low pile area rugs. If you need me to clean tight spaces or furniture I can do that too, I come with a full tool set so any job will be a job well done. Sometimes keeping things internalized is a good thing, my HEPA-Flo bag and Tritex filter ensures what I pick up isn’t released back out into the air.
NaceCare has improved my motor. At 680 watts I can now suck up to 120 cubic feet of airflow a minute at a super low 47 decimals, the average human talks louder than that! With this new motor I’m going to be around much longer and work more efficiently.
NaceCare says I will have 2000 hours more lifespan, recover 20% more soil and also use 40% less energy. I’m not a big numbers guy, let’s just say I work super hard. I like gadgets just as much as anyone else.
My improved combination rug and floor tool works great on any smooth floor and easily cleans low pile area rugs and commercial carpeting. Okay, I may be a little narcissistic but I love admiring how fit I am to clean.
At 17 pounds I’m slim and light on my feet. I have a long 33 foot power cord that will nicely rewind into the top of my head. I have two 360° casters in front that lets me gently roll across the floors.
I have a big belly for dirt, my 2. 5 gallon dust bag keeps me gobbling dirt and debris. After working a long day I may need a little help, you can carry me around with the handle attached to my head, I won’t complain.
So, what do you say? I’d be great both in your home or place of work. I love to clean, I will be a long lasting friend and I require very little attention.
LOVE Henry/Harry!!! Friendly little chap with a FEROCIOUS appetite. He’s the vacuum we should have purchased YEARS ago, instead of all those bagless, horrifyingly expensive uprights, promising to be all we needed to keep our home clean and quickly proving they just weren’t up to the job.
One of the most amazing points about Harry is that he doesn’t blow “wet dog” odours back out as he vacuums. Now the carpets not only look spotless again but the rooms smell fresh thanks to his charcoal filter.
The electric lead is really long and the dust bag is massive so, all in all, no need to keep stopping to find another socket to plug in to, rarely having to fit a new dust bag and no stopping to pull dog hair out of his special “fur” attachment, because he just keeps going.
AMAZING!!!We’ve fallen in love with Harry. Thankyou. You’ve restored our faith in vacuum cleaners.

This has been a great vacuum. It cleans the carpets very well. Its more compact width makes for easy manuvering which also makes getting around a room easier as it’ll fit in lots of places a wide width would not.
I’ve had a lot of vacuums, and everytime I go baggless, I’m sorry I did. Bagless just makes a mess when emptying- and I’ve owned the top rated models. Bagged is quick and clean- zero mess inside or on the unit.
No filters to wash either. If you have allergies- bagged just makes common sense. This units shortcoming is the hose- it won’t reach far when it’s on, so it’s only good for easy to reach dusting etc.
I can use it for quick cleaning around the washer dryer, the dryer lint trap and other quick jobs. I have top rated bagged canister that I use when I need it. Overall, easy to recommend.
Strong, durable and an overall great value! Our Active, Labrador Loving Family Requires Workhorse, Commercial Quality Style Vacuum! This is it! I prefer a bagged canister which is becoming harder and harder to find! It is neater to clean and allergy friendly keeping the dust and debris contained.
Pros: Bagged Canister! Yes! Does not clog easily Great at collecting dog hair on all surfaces Clean and Allergy Friendly Amazing on all surfaces including Tile, Hardwood and Carpet. Nice Detachable Wand Many Nice Attachments Included Nice size to tuck away when not in use Not Heavy! Easy to pick up!.

This vacuum was on my radar for 2-3 months before I pulled the trigger. Historically, I’d never considered purchasing a Shark product that was somewhat comparable in price to a Dyson. It sounds silly, but does it really? Dyson seems to have the “market” convinced that they’re the king of suction.
I currently own 2 Dyson vacuums (handheld and upright) and they a do a great job on hard wood and tile floors, but stairs and car interiors were a huge hassle to clean regularly. In addition to those 2, I own and use an additional 6 handheld or upright vacuums in combination against German Shepherd glitter.
The Shark ® Vertex ™ Bagless Corded Canister Vacuum in Black/Copper has blown all of them all away! I’m not particularly strong, so the overall weight of the canister and the attachment is significantly important to me.
It’s so versatile and powerful out of the box and I think this is due to the actual power cord vs cordless vacuums. In my opinion, corded power is significantly stronger. I’ve been able to clean all areas with ease using the vacuum head, power handle, and attachments.
Hard to reach areas behind the toilets, the dust on baseboards, windowsills, light fixtures, inside drawers, behind/between car seats, lint catch in the dryer, my dog’s bed (twice a day), and so many other things that I hated doing because the other vacuums are so much heavier or cumbersome.
The brush roll attachment is not too wide and not too narrow, as it covers a great amount of space but it able to navigate tighter spaces that my uprights cannot. I was so impressed with it’s performance that I purchased additional attachments on the Shark website.
The Self Cleaning Pet Power brush is phenomenal! They should really sell a version that includes this brush for pet parents, because the brush is insanely good. I spent an additional $160 for 4 attachments plus tax/shipping, but only the power pet brush was really necessary.
Overall, I wish I would have purchased this much sooner! I purchased it when Costco had it priced much lower than BBB, but with a sale and a BBB Beyond + membership, it was still cheaper and only a few bucks more than the non-duo clean version.
The only con, is that the dust cup does get dusty when it’s emptied- but like someone else said, that’s normal with any vacuum. German Shedder (Shepherd) mom approved!.
Shark Vertex Bagless Corded Canister Vacuum with DuoClean PowerFins is shocking. We had another shark cordless and this by far cleaned up more than ever before. We had no idea what our other vacuum was missing.
Anti-Allergen Complete Seal traps over 99. 9% of dust and allergens… this is totally noticeable once we cleaned with our other and then tested immediately with the Shark Vertex. We have 4 kids & 3 dogs, you can say it gets messy.
But we haven’t had any hair get caught in the PowerFin roller. I’m able to get it high places and under items much easier with the wand. The wand is multi flex so it bends in multiple directions, it has attachments that are helpful for our couch, chairs any upholstered items, even hard to reach cracks and small areas are easier to reach.
The tubing is long too, so I’m not restricted while cleaning. There’s an LED light that allows me to see well under items without moving around, making sure I don’t suck up something not needed. Perfect for the entire house cleaning.
There are super convenient buttons on the handle that allows me to power on/off, low or high pile, hardwood and 3 different levels of suction, it’s a beast! The overall weight is light. Super smooth to move around my home.
And it’s SO quiet! I do wish the cord was longer, being used to my cordless, I have to unplug and reconnect a lot with our large home. But it’s retractable, so no need to wind this around any part of the machine… overall this machine is worth it for the amount of suction, cleaning power and ease of those tough areas to reach.
Bonus here, the look of this vacuum is gorgeous! Sleek, modern, it’s not something that you want to hide, looks beautiful & easy to fold down for storage, I place this in my laundry room, unhidden.
The new TriFlex HX1 is Miele’s first cordless stick vacuum. Its unique three-in-one design allows you to switch between three different configurations for maximum flexibility and outstanding performance.
This HX1 model comes equipped with an additional handheld brush, making it ideal for cleaning up after pets. The TriFlex HX1 is ideal for easy, quick cleaning of large areas, as well as ceilings and smaller spaces.
It’s 11-inch wide Electrobrush also makes it perfectly suited as a whole-home vacuum.
My old corded hoover was slowly approaching the end of it’s life. Eight years was by no means bad, but by this point, the tube had split, the seal was no longer airtight, and the power cord auto-rewind button broke (so it was always auto-rewinding).
I’ve been wanting to get the corded CX1-Blizzard for quite a while now, but having used quite a few of these cordless vacuums at work (I’m a cleaner, and our company offers clients the choice to buy their own equipment to save money, so most do), and also due to a recent shoulder injury, I instead open for the cordless version, firstly to see how Miele’s offering compares to other manufacturers, and also due to the text it should be much lighter than their corded solution.
It’s very lightweight – I can lift it with just my little finger (or pinky finger as it’s called in Americaland for reasons unknown). When I went over my carpets, I was stunned it l at how much thick black dust it swept up with it’s electro brush floor piece.
It’s as if my old hoover had been slacking off for years! It picked up so much dust, I had to empty the bin after each individual room, and this was on power setting 1 (of 3)! Then I decided to take it in to work.
Most clients (upon my boss’s advice) have Henry Hoovers. I don’t find them much good, but I was prepared to put up with that. However my current shoulder injury means Henrys are just too heavy right now, they’re like little bulldozers in terms of weight.
My experience at home was replicated at work. Unbelievable amounts of thick black dust just from the lowest power setting, considering it’s only been a week since I last cleaned this place, and again I was able to get through the task quicker than normal due to not having to constantly switch which plug socket I was plugged into.
It also only briefly dropped into 2/3 battery charge, but it did help that it was on charge every moment I wasn’t hoovering. All in all, very impressed. If it’s able to tackle a commercial workload (which it did fairly effortlessly), then I can’t imagine any domestic situation it won’t work for.
Brick dust is so I can really think of, and I think anyone doing that kind of work probably wouldn’t use their normal everyday vacuum for that anyway. I do wish the bin was a bit bigger though, especially in comfort (bottom heavy) mode.
The bin’s diameter already means it won’t fit under some furniture, so in that case a taller bin would allow it to go longer without having to stop. I’m going to be taking this to work more often. Even after my shoulder has healed, it makes the job that bit easier.
Wow, never written a bad review over a product in my life and am not one to complain but I am SO disappointed. By the product and the service. We purchased this product one year ago and it has completely fallen to pieces.
Awful suction, awful battery life, cheap parts that do not fit together with ease and feel like cheap plastic. Purchased a $100 vacuum that was of similar quality two years prior. Miele also do not send a replacement or allow for refunds if you are not happy with the product – you can only send your vacuum off for review and they MAY replace some parts – leaving you with no vacuum in the meantime.
I am sure the product costs them a fraction of retail price to make and considering they are such a large and successful business you would think they would be a little more generous when it comes to dealing with a customer who is unhappy with the product.
They clearly not seem to care about client satisfaction. Such a shame as I have heard their other products are great. Will be making sure I share this review everything so people know not to waste their money on this one.
Bought this mounth ago, had a Dyson v8 before this. The number of positives over the Dyson are numerous: flexible layout, easily the most comfortable to use, best suction (regardless of stats of other dysons what matters is real world performance).
I don’t usually mention the obvious marketing stuff but it’s the little things that matter to me sometimes, like the bin: the easiest to empty, with the Dyson not only I had to walk the whole unit to outdoor bin, it didn’t fit in smaller bin without removing bins cover, this fits perfectly with one motion emptying.
The motor on bottom design not only is more comfortable on wrist, and solid feel, but also the motor is closest to vac head so naturally there’s even better suction, and the weight of the unit is right on the vac head which makes total sense to “lock push head in”.
Another small thing: with the Dyson it had those cheap plasticky small wheels but also rests on very small felts! Soon After felt wears out it will drag on the plastic head! The worst experience for a vac and scratches my stone floor while my gripping it, someone would think well just change the head, instead I upgraded to this Miele and so glad I did!! It just feels much better using it with one hand! Effortless, and had large back wheels + front wheels + felt, so it will last a very long time, another reason I hated the v8 cause the battery just sunk to unusable levels with a frustrated wife, Miele: u can swap batteries, some people complain of price I got it on special $599 thanks to bing lee, which was 2-300$ cheaper than the closest Dyson, my home size is average so battery is plenty, I don’t have pets or carpet!! So I don’t really need the higher models! Ok more good stuff: Infinitely more quiet! (this is honestly a deal breaker for me As the Dyson and the vac before it used to pierce my ears with high frequency noise while my wife vaccumed, I can turn this on next to a sleeping baby!).
There’s no switch to hold, just click and rest your finger. The brush size is wide and efficient. The lowest suction is enough for every day dusting hard floors. This is the first vac that actually cleaned my car, the Dyson was hopeless and overheated (drains much quicker on max), so I just stopped using it for the car! U don’t need to wash the filter, I used to hate washing the v8 filter because u had to stop using it until dries 100% so I had to buy another spare filter, can’t believe people complain of cleaning this filter it’s easiet thing, every now and then just pull it out and which house doesn’t have a blower I have mine just outside.
5 secs blowing and it’s brand new again. The electro brush is super easy to take out and clean yet nothing have dangled in there yet (no need for screwdriver or tool). I hated the design of v8 head a lot of dust and hair used to get stuck between roller and that curve leading into suction tube.
The upholstery tool is very effective, and u can use all other tools from other Miele accessories. The tools just slide in without need of clicking or unclicking. Just simply try both or any vac for that matter side by side and u will notice the difference.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST the design is good looking and uses quality materials with parts firmly put together. Just feels better quality. So I simply cannot fault this in any way if I was to nit pick I would just criticise the bin size, not to increase size (as this will increase weight), just make a bigger gap between Center filter and outer cylinder so dirt falls more easily, but again this is no major concern to me but possibly for pet hair, I’m sure they will redesign this in next model.
The Hoover WindTunnel Max Capacity is equipped with everything you need for a heavy duty clean from floor to ceiling. Confidently power through messes on any floor type, then use the above floor tools and extension wand to get into tight, hard-to-reach places with ease.
It comes with ScatterGuard Technology and 5 in. Height Adjustments that let you easily get an optimal clean on any floor type without scatter.
The Hoover Onepwr Blade plus 2 is a convenient and powerful cordless hand held vacuum cleaner that’s been designed to perform a number of tasks. The unit also has a couple of features that make life simpler.
Although not as powerful as my large roll-around, I can pick up the Hoover Onepwr off the convenient wall mounted storage unit and get to cleaning up instantly, especially between the big cleanups when i use my full sized unit.
The Hoover arrived with 2 batteries so that the Onepwr can be in use instantly, not having to drag out the plug-in unit, which is a great convenience, in between major cleanups. I had the provided storage rack up on the wall in minutes, it has storage for all the attachments as well as the vacuum itself.
The Onepwr comes with a crevice tool as well as a dust brush and upholstery brush which fit snugly to the hand held unit or onto the extension pole that allows you to stand upright as you are cleaning with the lighted, multi surface, spinning head floor nozzle and carpet beater.
The Hoover runs for just over one half hour, for each battery, giving over an hour of total cleaning time available continuously. A convenient charger is provided to keep your batteries always ready.
One feature that I really like is the ability to remove the dust canister to empty it, separating from the main unit so that you don’t have to try to awkwardly handle the entire unit while dumping the canister contents into the trash.
Again, a versatile and powerful unit that will quickly clean up almost any mess stylishly and easily.
The Hoover WindTunnel High Performance Pet vacuum really sucks! And I mean that in the best way possible. This vacuum cleaner has significantly better suction than our previous vacuum. I was able to fill it twice in a single bedroom and it hadn’t been that long since it was swept.
That may be the best feature of the WindTunnel, but it wasn’t my favorite feature. Upon unpacking it my wife and I were struck by how long the power cord is. Holy cow! Whoever designed this thing has clearly ran a vacuum cleaner and understands the misery of having to move the cord constantly.
Our home isn’t that large, but it isn’t tiny either. I was able to plug the Hoover WindTunnel in in my living room and sweep the entire house including the two bedrooms and family room that are upstairs.
Color me impressed. I was also fairly impressed with how well it handled hair. My pets are short haired and don’t shed that much, but my wife and two of my kids have long hair. It gets everywhere and tends to wind up really bad in the brush on vacuum cleaners.
I don’t know if it’s the design of the brush or the massive amount of suction, but I don’t have miles of hair wrapped around the brush, so that’s a plus. It wouldn’t be appropriate to only highlight the WindTunnel’s strengths, so I’d like to mention a few things I didn’t like.
First, about half of my house has hardwood floors, so we generally sweep a lot with the vacuum on the lowest height setting. I had the WindTunnel sitting on a small runner in my dining room while I was using the hose to suck up dust bunnies around the edge of the room and I heard an awful growling noise.
I looked over to notice that the WindTunnel was trying to eat the runner it was sitting on. That’s how I discovered that the brush never stops spinning. Every vacuum cleaner I’ve ever had turned the brush off when set to the lowest height.
Fortunately the WindTunnel has strong enough suction that it doesn’t fling stuff around, but I did find it strange. I have a really bad dust allergy and I was hoping that the WindTunnel High Performance Pet vacuum might be better than average at trapping allergens.
No luck, I was still completely miserable after running the vacuum. I’m not sure this is Hoover’s fault, but it’s worth mentioning. The last thing I want to mention is the various accessories that came with the WindTunnel.
Most vacuums come with some sort of brush-like attachment for the end of the hose. Hoover redesigned this tool to not have the brush stuff around the edges and instead it has these rubber veins, which I can only assume are meant to avoid hair tangling up in it.
My experience was that these rubber veins are too long and even with the powerful suction of the WindTunnel, I found this attachment to be mostly useless. There’s another attachment that has a small head with a roller that spins around.
I’m not impressed with it either. So both of the attachments that make this WindTunnel for “Pets” weren’t that useful. The long tapered attachment is pretty nice. It has a little groove in the end that I’m guessing is to keep the thing from sucking down too much on a surface, but I noticed it was awesome for cleaning the blades on our ceiling fans.
The little groove fits around the edge of the blade in just a way that you can suck up the dust without knocking down a bunch of dust bunnies. Overall I like the WindTunnel. Hoover knocked it out of the park with the super long power cord and that great suction.
The attachments are somewhat unimpressive and I don’t know how I feel about the brush running on the lowest setting.
I received this Hoover WindTunnel High Performance Pet Upright from BzzAgent for my honest review. This Hoover vacuum was extremely easy to put together. I will mention if you have long nails you may have issues with the power button, but once I figured it out I was able to turn it on with zero issues.
This vac offers a setting for hard floors to low to high carpet. This is a perfect feature for myself since I have vinyl plank flooring, rugs and carpet in my home. This vacuum did a beautiful job picking up dust and pet fur from my vinyl floors.
The real test however was when I used it on my carpets and rugs. Need I said holy suction it did not disappoint. I’ve been using my Shark upright but I noticed right away the significant difference in suction power in this Hoover WindTunnel.
No more having to use my pet lint hair roller multiple times before I vacuum. This Hoover WindTunnel did the job picking up hair, crumbs the kids dropped and all other debris. In comparison to the vacuum I have used I would say his Hoover performs exceptionally well.
I love that this pet Hoover WindTunnel includes the pet attachments for furniture. It’s easy to use for hard to reach areas such as ceiling and is great on stairs. I would absolutely purchase this Hoover WindTunnel Pet Upright for my home cleaning needs.
This is a vacuum that I would absolutely recommend to my family and friends. This would be a great vacuum for homes with pets and children.

I couldn’t despise a vacuum more than I despise this one. We have had three Shark vacuums before this one. They were all the Navigator, but not the lift away. This model is horrible. The drum fills up with ONE PASS OVER OUR LIVING ROOM AND WE HAVE BRAND NEW CARPET.
Literally, we had our house was built, everything completely new, we have no pets, we don’t smoke, and we bought this vacuum brand new to use in our new house so none of the old “dust and dirt” from our previous home would be transferred to this “new everything” house.
Every single time we use it it smells weird. We’ve cleaned the filters, we clean the drum, we have replaced the filters, all three, it still smells. The way it’s built is so unsteady it falls over at the slightest gust of wind.
Literally I have walked by it too quickly and it’s fallen over. The hose seems like it’d be long but it’s so tight it doesn’t stretch far. I cannot find a single thing about this vacuum I like and that stinks because I am an avid Shark product lover.
Now, as I’m looking for another new vacuum to replace this barely used one that’s garbage all around, my husband doesn’t want to get another Shark because of this one. Not to say I blame him, because I don’t, it’s horrible.
Over the last 7-8 years of having Shark vacuums this one ruined their image and reliability for us both. And that’s after our second one caught on fire and burned my husband’s hand, but they sent us a new upgraded version of that model we had even though it was two years old and pretty worn out, because the reason it caught fire was fixed for the new model they sent us.
So we weren’t even that upset over that entire incident. This whole vacuum in comparison makes me really annoyed they would even sell a product like this.
The Shark – Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is a good and powerful relatively lightweight vacuum. The cord is long, the handle is a comfortable height, and the vacuum swivels so it’s easy to push and get around furniture.
It has powerful suction and is height adjustable so it works well on different types and lengths of carpet. The roller can be turned off, which is convenient if you want to use it on bare floors or decorative carpeting with long tassels.
Some things that I would have liked more of is on board tools, this only comes with 1 extender crevice tool and 1 little combo duster piece which I don’t know what it’s really called. The dirt cup is an ok size but of course space is taken up by the filter, and It’s easy to empty.
You can remove the whole center section of the vacuum and use it with the hose and extender crevice tool or other tool if you want to vacuum higher places like vents on a wall or ceiling fans, or go up the steps while vacuuming the baseboards, etc.
Easy to use- makes vacuuming seem like less of a chore! It’s been over a year since we got it Oct 2020, and it’s still working just as well as it did the 1st time we used it, which is saying a lot because it has to keep up with the fur of 2 cats and 1 long hair dog that sheds a lot! We’ve gone through a bunch of vacuums, all brand names, thru the years, and this Shark Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is definitely the best one so far!.
This vacuum is okay. I broke my other Shark Navigator, the NV586 purple one, about a year ago and needed a quick replacement so I thought this one would be just as good. It was not. It was fine but really just not powerful enough to handle my 4 kiddos and two pets.
So I went looking for an upgrade and I am coming back to write a review finally becuase I recently purchased the new Shark Vertex DuoClean (AZ2002) and OMG I never knew what I was literally missing. One single pass over an 8×10 rug and the DuoClean picked up more dirt and hair than any other vacuum I have ever owned.
No exaggeration, I think I picked up years worth of nasty that I had no idea was still in there. As a bonus, it also glides over the hardwood floors picking up everything instead of scattering it like other vacuums and now I am also throwing away my brooms.
After owning three Sharks and one Dyson, I would recommend the DuoClean forever. So the NV360 is fine for single folks with no pets or kids who also don’t need to do hardwood floors, otherwise watch for a sale and snag the new DuoClean.

Thermal Protection Fully automatic: A temperature limiter protects the motors of Miele’s cylinder vacuum cleaners from overheating. Anti-Static Handle How you are protected: A metal insert in the handle prevents static discharge between appliance and user.
Pros: No expensive bags to buy. Mains operated so battery doesn’t run out every five minutes. Handle on pole comfortable. Canister pulls around effortlessly. Very strong construction of the casing. Tools slide into place smoothly.
Turbo tool for carpets does a thorough job. Cons: The yellow clip on dust bin has to be fully engaged with thumbnail (to the right) after closing the bin, just to make sure it is tight and secure. but that isn’t a problem really.
The canister is fairly heavy but that doesn’t matter as you push the pole not the whole unit, and the canister is not too heavy to carry upstairs.

Excellent vacuum! It has REALLY powerful suction, it’s easy to operate and very maneuverable, and the dirt hopper is very simple to empty. Most striking of all, it’s the sort of vacuum that you don’t think about after using it – only its results.
My carpets are wonderfully soft and floors clean and smooth after vacuuming, and all I think about is just how nice they are to walk on. Not the vacuum. I believe an appliance like this should perform its function so seamlessly that the results are more noticeable than the device itself.
This is precisely the case with this vacuum. It sits in the corner until it is needed, then it does a wonderful job, and I go on living my life with clean floors! The HEPA exhaust filter is a great touch.
You can literally see all of the dirt swirling around in there that would otherwise be blasted out into the air.
I’ve never bought a Kenmore brand vacuum before, only HooverBissellShark. I usually have to buy a new vacuum every year (big dogs who shed and a son who brings home all the dirt from the ball field with him every day), so I’ve owned quite a few to compare to.
So far, this vacuum out cleans them all. It’s a bit heavier than I am use to, but this vacuum is self propelled and I barely have to push it along, even on thick carpets. It does a really good job keeping dust and dirt sealed within the system.
There was a definite noticeable difference in air quality and my allergies weren’t as bad after using this vacuum. (Compared to previous Hoover and bissell vacuums).
The Miele Dynamic UI Fresh Air vacuum features Miele’s AirClean Sealed System, which includes an AirClean filter bag and active HEPA filter to capture and retain more than 99. 9% of dirt, dust and allergens.
The vacuum’s unique electrobrush follows the contours of the floor, automatically adjusting for different carpet heights and surfaces to provide consistent, even suction and gentle yet thorough cleaning.
Other conveniences include a rotary dial control, LED headlight and three integrated accessories. Recommended for low- to high-pile carpeting and smooth floor surfaces. HEPA AirClean filter provides maximum air hygiene.
Electrobrush automatically adjusts to different carpet heights and surfaces for consistent, even suction and gentle yet thorough cleaning. Rotating brush ensures deep cleaning of carpets of various heights.
Rotary dial control lets you choose between four power settings. Low-noise, 1200-watt Miele-made Vortex Motor provides powerful performance and superior dust intake. Sleek, slender body allows vacuum to easily reach under furniture.
Double-jointed swivel neck allows vacuum to pivot and maneuver with ease. Integrated three-piece accessory set includes upholstery tool, crevice tool and dusting brush with natural bristles. 46-foot cleaning radius.
For many years I had purchased inexpensive vacuums (from Hoover and Bissell) but, when the last of these quit working last month, I decided that this time that I would invest in a more substantial vacuum.
So I then purchased an expensive Dyson model, but was quite disappointed in it (for many reasons) and returned it to the store after one use. After reviewing Consumer Reports, I then decided on the highly-rated Miele U1 Cat & Dog model and I’m so glad I did! It has some very nice features that I didn’t realize would be so useful: the bright headlight, the easy-to-reach adjustment for suction, the fully reclining handle and the swivel neck (this really does make it easier to maneuver!).
The cloth bags are sturdy – not easily ripped, like the paper bags on my old vacuums – and very easy to remove and install. And the wand is simple to remove for use – no buttons to press, just pull it out of it’s socket.
The one feature I thought I’d miss is a retractable power cord, as I had on my old vacuum. But both the cord hooks for this machine are reachable from a standing position – no continual bending to wind the cord around the hooks – so it’s physically easy to wind/unwind the cord.
The suction power is terrific and did a great job on my carpeted and tile floors – really got all of that dog fur! The brush roller can easily be turned on and off and seems fairly simply to clean. And the machine is unbelievable quiet! Also, unlike the Dyson that I temporarily had, the Miele instruction manual was nicely organized and well thought-out.
This is a simple and straightforward (but powerful) vacuum cleaner. – no gimmicky features (e. g. , Dyson seems to have coined the term “cinetic”) but just the ones you need to make vacuuming as thorough and easy as possible.
This is a machine that was engineered to be very user-oriented and is well worth the money I paid for it. I look forward to (hopefully) a long and happy relationship with my new Miele U1 Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner!.
and my Black Miele Upright Vacuum cleaner are superb! Miele is a new brand I discovered in 2017. I was tired of spending $$ every year or two on a new vacuum cleaner. Other than change out the filtered bags every few months, I have not had problems with this upright brand of vacuum cleaner.
When I tested it at the store, I felt like I was taking a test-drive in a luxury brand vehicle. Smooth transition from floor to carpet. Suction power like you wouldn’t believe! I thought my floors and carpets were clean until I ran a Miele vacuum over it and three months later had to replace the bag.
I date the replacement bag so I can remember when to change it. There is a bag fullness sensor, but it doesn’t work for me. Great for allergy sufferers, like my spouse. No spewing dust while vacuuming.
No canister to clean. Easy filter bag change. I notice no change in suction power from the placement of a new bag until the bag needs replacing. The suction is strong throughout. The cord is like an anaconda though, but I can go into sometimes three rooms without switching outlets; I prefer this than a too-short cord.
Pricey? Yes. But, I was spending the same amount on other well-known brands, yearly, because they didn’t hold up. Having a dog and living in the desert is something Miele does well. Do yourself a favor and test-drive, I mean, test it out at a local vendor.
I received a discount on the floor model, so you might get lucky, ask the vendor.
Have owned this Miele Dynamic U1 Cat and Dog Upright Vacuum for about a month and have vacuumed many times. Impression so far is that this is one great vacuum cleaner! Yes it is heavy but so was the bagged Hoover it replaced.
And I’ve found no difficulty (for someone who is in their 70’s) in rolling it across the carpet. It is somewhat loud but again not as loud as the Hoover it replaced. The cord is much longer then the cord on the Hoover was, which in my book is a “big” plus.
And I don’t have to bend over to wind the cord, I stand in an upright position because it gets wound towards the top of the vacuum unlike the Hoover were I had to bend over for. The only part of the vacuum I had to put together was the handle.
you just need to make sure you get it clicked in all the way. Turning on the vacuum is a two switch process – first one turns vacuum on, which you could vacuum wood or tile floors; second switch turns the roller on for carpet.
You have this dial that you can adjust for suction control going from smooth to low pile to deep pile to curtains and anywhere in between and the great thing about that is that you don’t have to turn the vacuum off like I had to do on my Hoover, (to change height for types of carpet).
The LED lights at the front are great feature and really light up the area that you are vacuuming. I read some reviews where the owners complained that the plastic housing got marred up. That can happen on any vacuum cleaner, one just has to try and avoid hitting or scraping it along furniture, at least that’s what I try to do.
There are many video reviews on line where more is explained about the Miele brand of vacuums. Overall I think this is a quality made vacuum cleaner and it is one of a few that are NOT made in China.
This vacuum is made in Germany. We as consumers are all different, what appeals to some may not appeal to others. For me, I believe that I made the right decision and would do it again.

IšverstiShow in original languageI read many reviews about this product before my purchase. I originally was going to buy the more expensive pet vacuum but found out that Miele products are not always made the same for places like Bed Bath and Beyond, so I did not want to spend the extra money for something that was not made with the highest quality.
This vacuum is still exceptionally expensive when compared to other brands, however, Miele is a very high-quality company. My only complaint so far about this vacuum is that the cord is extremely short.
I do need an extension cord. The head attachment is also a bit light and flimsy but this is both good and bad, it’s good because it moves very easily but bad because it seems a little cheaply made. These are also my reasons for the 4 stars.
The vacuum is so far performing much better than my Dyson Pet vacuum.
IšverstiShow in original languageI’m admittedly a vacuum snob – I want one that cleans well, isn’t hard to move/use, and doesn’t make more of a mess than it cleans. I purchased the Miele Canister vacuum to replace the Dyson Animal that I bought to replace my original Dyson – which I absolutely loved until it died.
The canister vacuum is great – I absolutely love the extendable wand on the hose, the attachments, and the way the vacuum swivels when moving around. The user who gave the Miele a 1 star rating must not have realized that releasing the suction by opening the air vents on the wand and/or the attachment makes it easier to vacuum floors, area rugs and carpet.
However, I will agree with that reviewer that it isn’t easy to use the Miele on thick well-padded carpet. I use it with no issues on our area rugs, tile and hardwood floors. We bought a lightweight Oreck to vacuum the carpeted areas of our new home – it was difficult to vacuum the plush carpet.
It’s very important to pay attention to how full the bag is and change it – on any vacuum, of course. The Miele makes it easy by providing an indicator right where the hose inserts into the canister.
We’ve owned a Miele vacuum and dishwasher, and I’m getting ready to order a Miele canister vacuum as a birthday present for our daughter. It’s a great tool for all kinds of housekeeping (especially if you have pets or long hair).
IšverstiShow in original languageLike most things German, this is overly complex and takes some time to master. Pluses: Made in Germany according to the label Heavy and seemingly high-quality components Plenty off suction power Adapts to a variety of uses Minuses: Heavy Exhaust blows back at user The vacuum head has an adjustment for hard surfaces or carpet.
Truthfully, it suits neither. As there is no beater bar, any carpet that isn’t thin will not be cleaned effectively. On the hard surface setting, the head scrapes on the floor so I’d consider it okay for tile but not hardwood.
To complicate matters further there is a pressure release valve on the handle that’s needed when vacuuming area rugs – be sure to use it or the rug will stick to the head.
Engineered for homes with pets, this takes the hassle out of cleaning. Dyson Cord-Free Comparison Chart Direct-drive cleaner head drives bristles deep into the carpet for a deep clean. Easily transforms to a handheld for beyond-the-floor cleaning.
Mini motorized tool removes pet hair and ground-in dirt. Dimensions: 49″ H x 9. 8″ W x 8. 2″ D. Cleaning path width: 9. 8″. Dust bin capacity: 0. 15 gal. Battery life: up to 40 min. (25 min. with motorized floor tool attached).
I bought this hoover after reading all the reviews and I can honestly say I made the best decision to buy it. It is so easy to use and has great suction. I love it being cordless as it has enough charge to do my stairs, hall and 2 bedrooms on one charge.
It glides easily and the separation of the top part to do the stairs is easy to do and makes stair hoovering more enjoyable. All the tools it comes with are great for doing ceiling/corner cobwebs, couch, fabrics and car with bonus of no plug needed as no cable.
Easy to empty and handy with the wall mount as keeps it all tidy but accessible to use daily. Positive comment – my son actually hoovers his room now as he likes the ease of hoover. It has great suction, easy to use, I can hoover anything with attachments and does a lot on one charge.
Good storage for hoover and all tools. Just a few negatives but only for certain people: when separating top to hoover stairs it is slightly heavy to hold and if like me your wrists are not strong it can be a little uncomfortable so I take breaks and put it down.
Also as you have to keep the button held down again if you do not have strength can be tiring on hands holding one position for a while and again I rest and stretch my hands/wrists out every so often.
The motorised heads don’t have anti wrap hair technology so you need to keep on top of removing hairs unfortunately. Having said all that would definitely recommend this hoover and as my first stick cordless hoover I have purchased thought it was worth money and love it.
This thing clogs after cleaning a 6×8 carpet in a home with 1 small short-hair cat. The dust flies everywhere when I open the hatch and there is invariably dust stuck up around the top of the canister that I have to pull out by hand.
Or I can release the whole canister, which is already dusty from opening the hatch. You can’t just take off the canister, which would probably be less messy, you have to open the hatch at the bottom first which makes the handle and everything you touch dusty.
Gross gross gross. The charge lasts for 2 rooms (13×15) max, but I have to stop multiple times to empty the nasty canister. I feel like I need a shower after I vacuum. The furniture attachment stopped working after a year, but we were able to take it apart, fiddle around and get it working again.
There’s no way to just turn the vacuum to on, you need to hold the button the whole time, which is a bit tiring. But mostly, I hate this vaccum because it’s dirty, inconvenient and the suction isn’t as good as my corded Kemore.
Why or why did I give it away? It had such better suction, lasted indefinitely and wasn’t dirty. It was just bigger, which since my apartment is small was unideal. But unideal is 1000x better than horrible.
I loathe this vacuum. It makes me angry every time I use it.
I’ve had this product for about 2 months now, and I’m delighted I bought it. It is 100% worth the money. I live in an apartment with 3 flights of carpeted stairs up to the main area and 2 carpeted bedrooms, plus I have 3 cats who spend most of their time grooming themselves on those stairs, so this vacuum was facing a big task.
It has handled it perfectly, the motorised head picks up any cat hair and fluff ingrained into the carpet with ease. The max suction is great for stuff that’s really worked it’s way in and I found myself using that setting a lot for the first few days when I was getting at things my old vacuum couldn’t, but I generally use the normal setting now and it’s more than enough.
All of the attachments, filters etc are really easy to remove and clean. The vacuum charges faster than I expected, and the battery life is good. Its perfect for cleaning the car too, the crevice tool is great for getting in to the sides of your seats etc.
The only thing I can think dyson could improve would be offering a back up battery that can be charged separately and switched out in newer models (if they haven’t already), as I do have to do my stairs and the rest of the house in two separate charges, but I do think most standard 2 story houses would get a good daily clean from one charge.
All in all I’d definitely recommend this vacuum, especially if you have pets. It’s so worth the money!!.

0 Ah High Output Battery, and 1 Rapid Charger. Color: Reds / Pinks.
I’ve had starts with r ends in i battery and several starts with an R ends with d corded shop vacs including there stainless steel top of the line one. My mom had the great white (no brand names allowed) stick battery.
All of which have burned out motors or upon having them fixed under warranty absolutely sucked. This vacuum not only lasts with my 6. 0 batteries but is amazing. The attachments are awesome and the performance along with the versatility is impeccable.
I only wish there was more on board storage for accessories and that you could change battery/empty canister without having to unsteady the backpack no big deal. I’ve used it on my garage extremely uneven, pitted, and cracked concrete slab.
It’s picked up glass, screws, dust that I could never get put of the cracks without using an air compressor. I highly recommend this vacuum. I will have to see how the motor lasts. Get atleast 2 6. Ah high output batteries and a rapid charger.
You can easily do a single bay garage or room with 1 and still have juice. I have the double rapid charger and several other batteries. Curious how the 8 ah and 12 ah perform. Also if you need to convince your wife, of the expense, just show her the extension wand and how the attachments pivot and she’ll be sold.
Also highly recommend the airtip attachments from milwaukee as they have a magnet that stops metal from being sucked up among several extremely useful attachments. After buying vacuum I went back and spent $150 just on airtips.
Wished they sold kits that had more of a variety, instead of buying certain ones individually.
I’ve been a commercial studio photographer for over 30 years, and between product, people, and load-in/load-out for location photography, keeping it clean has always been a drag. I’ve used small canister vacs for years, and while they’re affordable and fairly flexible and effective, they’re super loud, very bulky, and it’s still a real pain to clean anything, frankly.
Taking all the weight and bulk, putting it on our backs, and then cutting the cord with a battery is about the most liberating thing that’s ever happened to me. I mean it’s practically a joy to clean now.
I can even climb ladders to reach the 20′ ceilings to vacuum with this setup! That’s next to impossible with a typical shop vac – even with two people. The one thing I was flabbergasted about though is the lack of a dust brush.
It’s seems like such an obvious and essential attachment, that I cannot believe Milwaukee didn’t include one, or even offer one that fits. Since this vacuum doesn’t accept the typical 1. 25″ nor 2. 5″ vacuum attachments, I had to hunt high and low to find something that would work.
After about a week of trial and error, I finally found a competitor’s attachments fit perfectly, and they were available at Home Depot too, and a dust brush was just $7. 99!.
Tired of dragging a shop vac around your job site and banging up your newly finished work? This vacuum is the solution. I love that you can throw this on your back and not have to worry about the power cable or the casters of a floor unit meandering wherever they please.
It makes clean up at the end of the day a breeze. It has a low and high power level. I use the low power to clean up over flooring protection, so it doesn’t suck it off the floor and the high setting for everything else.
It is very quiet and light weight. It’s really a dream come true. However, the dust collection system begins clogging the filter as soon as you start vacuuming. You cannot fill the debris canister before suction is nearly non-existent.
Huge bummer. I love the M18 system and have made the move to cordless, but I still have to carry around my compressor to blow out the filter of this vacuum. If Milwaukee could fix this clogging problem with a redesign of their canister or offer dust collection bag this would be the perfect vacuum.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS: Brand: Dyson Type: Upright Bagged/Bagless: Bagless Cord Type: Corded, 30 ft Bin Volume: 0. 22 gallons.
I’ve owned several Dyson Vacuums over the years. Saw this at my local Sam’s recently so I decided to treat myself to another because I’m a housewares junkie. First, I should say this is not my first Dyson Ball Vacuum.
The assembly was fairly easy and I was eager to try it out. I have hardwood floors plus large area rugs in my home. I started out by using the hose/wand/brush. I noticed that I couldn’t take one step without the vacuuming shooting across the floor and hitting my feet because the hose is so tight.
We have a no shoe policy inside our home so that hurts. Also, there is absolutely no way to use the hose attachment without the vacuum falling over. If I move left or right 6 inches with the hose attachment then the vacuum goes crashing down on my hardwood.
every single time. After attempting to vacuum the hardwood with the hose attachment I put the vacuum back in its normal upright position and started to vacuum my area rugs. The suction is so great that it lifts the corners of all my area rugs.
I then have to quickly shut the vacuum off to get the corner of the rug out. One rug that I have is a runner and the vacuum just sucks it up. And lastly, I noticed the electrical cord on this model is shorter than on my previous model.
I love Dyson products but I have no idea how this model made it to production. It seems like the prototype was not tested at all by anyone that vacuums their home on a regular basis. I am not sure if Sam’s will take it back as I no longer have the box.
I may just end up giving it to someone and then do further research on other vacuums. I have a 2 story home so I like having one vacuum on each floor so I don’t have to carry a vacuum up and down stairs.
I love this for regular use. It’s cleaning is superior. HOWEVER, the handle that pulls out into a hose is too long and solid. Thus, you can’t efficiently use it for anything that is not floor level or overhead.
Because of the hose length and lack of flexibility combined with the odd angles, vacuuming the couch was barely possibly; it was very difficult to do the stairs, and there’s just no way to utilize for your car.
I mean, you can stand like 6 feet back and vacuum a few spots but you’d be better off with a lint roller because the hose is so poorly engineered for these type of things. The attachment should be slick for overhead and floor level.
If I could have lifted the vacuum up to the same height of the couch, I could have vacuumed the couch with no problems. Trying to find someone to help or someway to prop of the vacuum in order to do this is rediculous.
Who would do that? I hate that I have to drag out other vacuums for all these things when this machine should be able to accomodate all the normal uses. the normal function for vacuuming is 10+ but I also hate that it tips over all of the time.
It gets easier to be able to make it stand up but it takes me a few tries every time.
I really wanted to love this vaccum. It has great suction for carpets and is a good vaccum IF you are only using this to vaccum floors. Using the wand to vaccum furniture and stairs is a nightmare as the vaccum constantly tips over.
It will NOT stay in an upright position it is not sturdy at all. It is the most frustrating thing ever. Also trying to remove the wand out of the handle to use the attachments is also a pain as it constantly gets caught and I have had to replace it once already as it wore off the plastic piece.
This vaccum never stays locked in the upright position no matter how many clicks I hear. I have to fight to get it to lock and it can not be moved around when not vacuuming unless you carry it as it won’t stay locked in place.
I had the old upright Dyson pet dander for 15 years I loved it and thought this would be just as good as that one. It was sturdy, easy to move around and never fell over. The wand was easy to use and the attachments were great.
I wish I had returned it when I bought it, but was hopeful I would eventually like it. Nope save your money and buy something else. Extremely disappointed and Dyson please save your excuses and just do better.

I have been using this vacuum in the shop for a few months now, and overall I do love it, as I find it more practical than a normal rolling shop vac, no tripping over cords or pulling it around, and man is it quiet!! With a 12.
0 battery it last long enough on high to clean the entire garage. The floor tool is awesome, and love that when its laid sideways it maintains contact/suction with the floor and thus allows you to get well under things like table or cars if you take a knee.
overall I would buy it again BUT. I really wish there were a few improvements, one that to me seem common sense. First is a BRUSH ATTACHMENT PLEASE! how that could be overlooked is beyond me, but it seems that nothing is made to attach to this style of hose, and of course the hose size is weird and nonexistent outside of this product.
I found one close on Amazon and using a generic adapter that I had to modify a bit, I know have a brush that I can force onto the hose and it will stay on, for the most part. Next is I think the 9ft hose should be standard, the 6ft is just too short, and if you set the vac down and are using it you run out if length really quick, and even with the 12.
0 battery weight it still tips over when you hit that limit. Seriously the BRUSH!! I would trade the crevice tool and the dust collector attachment for 1 brush! ok moving on, i don’t particularly care for the power switch, the location is great for when you wear it, but quite lousy for any other means of operation, always struggling to find it without seeing it, and the 2 speed function is not preferable as I NEVER use the low speed, and its too easy to switch it from high to low when trying to switch it off.
Have done it a few times while around loud equipment and since its so quiet I had no idea it was on until I went to use it next and found the battery dead! I think my last gripe would be the filter, as it comes with very little info on how to determine when it is time for a new one, and the few emails I have sent to Milwaukee about the filter and brush have went unanswered! I love the HEPA filtration as it keeps the dust down making clean up better.
The issue I have is that it seems to not take much fine dust to plug it, at which point it seems that vacuum finds its way around the seals and back out, no longer providing HEPA filtration. I believe this is what is happening as after a dozen or two uses, I start to notice the air in the shop seems dusty while using it(and this is of course emptying the bin and knocking out the dust from the filter, after which I also clean the sealing surfaces of dust) and the vacuum canister will have a layer of dust statically clinging to the outside.
I replaced the filter with a new one (kinda $$) and the issue went away,. for another few dozen cleanings, and then came back. I am now on my 3rd filter in roughly 3 months of owning/frequent use. I don’t see why a pre-filter wasn’t added(and i intend to try making my own) as the inside of the canister under the HEPA filter seems like an ideal location to have had a cylindrical pre-filter-which would save the HEPA some life as they are a bit pricey to replace monthly.
I also may add a thin shim under the HEPA to try and make the sealing surface contact better so the dust can’t find its way around, figure I shouldn’t have to worry much about working the battery/motor too hard since the FUEL/Red Lithium combo is supposed to be able to detect those issues and cut power?! Anyway, I would still buy it again, the price was a bit to work past, but after getting it I couldn’t go back to any other vacuum for general small debris/dust pickup.
Just wish I had a BRUSH and a pre-filter, and the 9ft hose standard!(It definitely is better with the extra reach).
A HEPA vacuum is an important tool in the removal of asbestos fibers from a work area. The high-efficiency particulate air filter is able to capture 99. 97% of all particles that are 0. 3 microns in size or larger.
This means that it is very effective at trapping asbestos fibers, which can be harmful if inhaled.
When using a HEPA vacuum to remove asbestos fibers, it is important to follow all safety protocols to ensure that the fibers are not released into the air and inhaled. The vacuum should be used in a well-ventilated area and the asbestos fibers should be disposed of properly in a sealed container.
