After years of using both salon and at home dyes, my super wavy hair was a frizzy damaged mess. I have been using this Henna for a while now and absolutely love it. The color is amazing and the dimension it gives my graying hair is beautiful.

It covers the grays in a slightly different color and adds natural looking “highlights”. Chemical dyes used to dry out my hair and add to the frizz control problem. This henna moisturizes and tames the frizz.

Neatly packed and it really colored hair very good . I applied for about 2 hrs. Also when tried to decorate hands it stained really good. No irritation of skin. Good product.

I haven’t tried any other henna but this one was most recommended and provides great results at a low price. I use this on my hair about once every 4 months for the conditioning, strengthening, thickening benefits.

This henna I’d easy to mix up and apply to hair as the powder is very fluffy and doesn’t clump much when mixed correctly. It also washes out easily leaving my hair fluffy, full, super shiny, and soft.

I love Jamila Henna Powder! It provides a nice deep stain, and provides amazing strength to the hair. It was a lifesaver for my overly bleached hair, restoring it to nearly virgin softness. If I were still going with the intense red hair look, or if I had darker hair, I would still be using this.

I LOVED this!! I used this for about 3 years to color my hair when I was natural- would mix would acv and oils, set it in the freezer (placed them in ziplock bags, took one out each time I wanted to dye my hair), then thawed it out.

Gave me a PERFECT stain without any damage! Would by it over and over again! Love it!.

I bought the blue and black 2 pack from walmart and the black that I wanted more than the blue ran out after a few minutes. I couldn’t draw anything I had prepared for myself. I’m very disappointed. if you could make it work like the one the youtuber that did a sleeve had, that would be great.

I recently had the pleasure of babysitting a friends kid, and really had no idea what we were going to do. She is a teen, and teens generally just want to be left alone. I brought these because I thought it might be fun to give her some fun and temporary body art.

I have tattoos and she had always been interested in them, so I thought I would give her a shorter go at getting some fun designs. Firstly, there were 3 colors so I knew we would have a limited range of ideas, but after looking up some henna style art, we quickly came up with some really fun hand art and although it’s not my strong suit, I started drawing some simple dots, which led to lines which led to some really beautiful art.

The quality of these markers is terrific. The tips are fine enough that you can get some really intricate design works with minimal talent. I felt that whenever I made a mistake if I wiped it off with a q tip quickly, it was just fine.

It turned out to be a super fun activity for us both. I would love to get the full line of colors to explore more designs. Someone more artistically inclined would find these to be a great tool for temporary bodywork.

We did both her hands and there was plenty of colors available. Not a lot of bleeding (as in the marker, not her skin) and overall just an easy way to create some beautiful body art. I recommend these to anyone who won’t mind having this on their body for a couple weeks.

The time varies on how often the area is washed etc.

The kit was fun, easy and seems to be staying on well. My only issue is that one kit goes a long way but there is only so much henna a family of 4 wants/ needs. I wish it was broken up into 2 kits so you could do it twice.

We had a lot left over. We saved the rest but I think it dried out.

This product is easy to use and the results were great. Make sure you let it dry fully before going about your day to prevent smudging, but once it is dry don’t stress if the dark coating peels off fairly quickly and the color looks light.

The color will continue to darken for 10+ hours.

This is good henna. The stencils are nice and the little bottle and tip work well for hand designing. My niece tried designs on all of us over the holiday and they came out great. She gave herself freckles :).

I really wanted the look of freckles across my cheeks/nose but regardless of how long I kept it on my face it didn’t get any darker. It looks like sun damage, hyperpigmentation. It does a little something to darken my eyebrows.

Amazing Henna. I applied a single coating and left it on for 12 hours. The design darkened over the first several days and didnt start to fade until the 7-10 day range. Very long lasting. Beautiful color.

And you get a great deal of product for the money. I still have 3/4 of the cone in the freezer! It took me a long time to find a paste of this quality level.

I am left handed so it was a little difficult at first. But after I kept trying it became easier on certain designs for me – being a lefty. So I decided to put it in a small clear application bottles instead.

For me the cone was awkward and big but very manageable. Their cones are good & strong – at least for me they were. But I do prefer the application bottles insteaad.

I have actually applied it on my hair. This has that wonderful Mehendi smell. It does give little color to hair. , makes your scalp feel fresh. Hair may dry out little but works well if you apply conditioner.

Never used it on my hand. I should try.

it smells like dried grass, not pure absolutely, dnt waste your money and time, i made paste more than 4 time, tried alot but didnt work, stain is sooo dull even after applying overnight and aftercare

I’ve been using this henna to dye my hair for over 3 years now, so you know I love it! Sometimes I use just the red, sometimes I mix it with light brown, Cooper, or Strawberry Blonde, to change the tones a bit.

I love the natural tones of henna, it makes my hair look very dimensional, and the gray coverage is unbeatable! Hair dye would never stick to my grays for long, especially red. But this henna doesn’t fade! The instructions are clear and easy to follow, although I usually leave it on for much longer, since it conditions my hair so well.

The smell is not great, but that’s just the smell of henna. It fades a little over time, but in a very natural way (I have attached picture of recently done hair and several weeks later). I will continue to use this henna as long as I’m dying my hair, I’m even going to try to go medium/dark brown in the fall so I will review that then as well! For reference, I have light brown hair.

How dare you send me 3 bags of expired henna that wouldnt stain. Ive been using this brand for over 15 years. I noticed the color was different, dull, when I emptied tbe package. I mixed it noticed color didnt release.

I looked at the expiration date on bag. 2020. The other two bags 2021. Dirty dealing. Just making people lives hectic. Will return to the honest business Ive been getting it from for 15 years which is a 2 hr drive since I moved.

Sucks. Never again.

I love the fact that this is pure henna. Not only can I use this in my hair, but I can also use this on my hands and feet. It is a nice size bag to take care of me for a while. I will purchase more. BTW, the paste is very soft and smooth.

I like to add avocado oil and rosemary essential oil to my mixture for a hair pack. I have dark hair with some silver strands mixed in. This henna makes my hair a nice deep coppery auburn ( a little redder than a penny) after about a couple of applications and I love it in the sunlight.

Tip: If you would like to temporarily boost the brightness try using a bit of “Inferno” (by Manic Panic) a red semi-color in your deep conditioner. Let it sit in your hair for 1/2 hr. under a heat cap.

Inferno is a warm deep red with mahogany undertones. It Gives the look more a vampy “red halo. “.

I get complimented on my hair all the time, and recommend this henna to anyone who asks. I’m 61 years old, my hair is almost waist length. It is thick, strong, shiny, silky and pretty color. It doesn’t look harsh or unnatural, and since it is a transparent color, the natural color variations- lights & darks–are unchanged.

When I went through radiation therapy for breast cancer, all my nurses and doctors would comment, and were amazed when I told them it was this simple natural product. I even gave a few packages to some nurses, they loved it.

The best natural henna color that does not make hair red. I mix 2/3 of the golden blonde and 1/3 of the ash brown, this colors my hair as dark blonde and covers gray very well. Leave it long enough – 3 hours for me, and touch-up the roots every 3-4 weeks.

I am new to this brand so I mixed it half and half with a light brown henna I had. The color came out a beautiful auburn. I have a lot of gray so don’t know yet, how the color will hold up. I mixed the mixture of dry henna with hot coffee to make a thick paste and brushed it on with a hairdye brush.

Then left it on for 1 hour. I am allergic to regular hair dye so this is the only thing I can use. My hair is shiny and auburn colored.

After trying many drugstore brands of men’s hair coloring, and finding that I was extremely allergic to them, A friend suggested this product to me and it is fantastic! I broke out in hives from all of the standard men’s hair products but even though the Henna requires over an hour of application waiting time, there was not a hint of any type of problem! The color covers grey and faded color perfectly and lasts for over a month or until your roots come through.

Doesn’t wash out after the first wash, and is safe and natural. No animal testing on this product which is an added bonus which I wasn’t aware of until it was pointed out to me. As a man with shorter hair, I get 4-5 applications from each bag which adds up to $2-3 per application.

We received this henna super fast and have been having so much fun using it! It is easy to apply, the stencils are great! The henna smells amazing! We just love it!!

First time buying and applying henna on myself. Using the cones was a little tricky at first, but as they warmed up in my hands after a while it started to flow out nicely and the consistency of the henna got better.

Only downfall was that it did not stain nearly as deep red as I was hoping for despite leaving it on for as long as I could and even covering it overnight. But understandable since these are premixed and shipped out.

Otherwise, I plan to purchase from The Henna Guys again.

I love it! Used to color my hair with a hair dye before. After trying this Im never going back! The only thing I dont like about it is applying process but the result is totally worth it! It will take me couple more time to even up the color to the same shade but Ill take it easy once a month.

I’ve been using this for the last 2 years and I’m so satisfied with this product. My natural hair color is blonde and with this product I get a vibrant red.

It works quickly at the beginning but when you wash your hands and feet or even walk on wet floors, it starts getting fainted. I wish that I didn’t buy it!!

Over the summer my oldest received her first Henna tattoo and thought it was a lot of fun. She was excited to see this kit. The designs are easy to follow and the Henna has remained visible for a few days, which has been perfect for the parents and the oldest.

I’ve purchased this many times for the more mature kids in my life, who all of a sudden seem too old for most toys but still need good wholesome fun. Highly recommend.

As a person who is scared of needles i dont want a real tattoo. So i bought this henna tattoo kit. It is really easy to use but if you dont buy stencils make sure to practice your design because it does stain fast and is almost impossible to fix.

And i had to do a ton of search looking online for what design i wanted.
