20 Best Height For Standing Desk (2023 Updated)

Caveat: I purchased this desk when it was on sale for $265 Pros: * Stand/Sit desk for a decent value * Large, functional desk space * Can hold a surprising amount of weight Cons: * Manual Hydraulics get finicky when working with heavy unbalanced loads, and do require some oomph to lift if you’ve got a lot of weight on it.

* Heavy and somewhat difficult to setup for one person, if possible * Desk does wobble dependant on height Recommendation: Buy if its on sale, its absolutely worth it! When its not, probably wait for a better deal.

Detailed Notes: I setup this desk fairly quickly with a minimum of assembly woes, but it should be noted that this desk is extremely heavy, and probably should be assembled with two people in a large clear space (I had one of the legs fall and bruise my arm during the early stages, and turning it over to stand it up was about the limit of my ability to work with large furniture).

Once assembled and stood up, the desk works extremely well for what it is. I have the equivalent of a three monitor setup plus a CPU tower sitting on the desk, with more weight on one side than the other due to my setup being what it is, and though the hydraulics do function and allow me to lift the desk up and down, I have to put some serious muscle to get it to lift.

I would recommend keeping heavier items off the desk if you intend to raise and lower it several times in a day to reduce strain, and to balance the weight on the desk if you have to have heavier items on it to make it easier to lift.

In regards to the wobble that people will sometimes point out with this desk, when the desk is at its lowest its barely noticeable — my webcam won’t pick up the motion when actively shaking the desk.

At its highest, the motion is a bit more noticeable, but still requires a decent amount of force to kickstart. In the end, I find it acceptable, but I’m a bit more forgiving in terms of motion, so your mileage may vary.

Heavy and bulky box. You may need help to carry it in or upstairs. I opened the box and carried the pieces upstairs. Assembly is straight forward. One hint: screws can seem balky. Don’t try to force them into place! If they don’t readily thread, slowly reverse direction until you hear a click, then slowly tighten.

You should check earlier tightened screws after adding 2nd, 3rd and fourth at each connection. Desk is rigid and utilitarian. I have successfully used the height adjustments a few times. Reviews express concern that the motor or controls may fail over time.

I have had no such experience to date. The drawer is a nice touch but a little tricky to open as there is no handle So far, I’m very pleased with the desk that I use in my home office.

It worked just fine but ended up being too bulky for my setup and my desk was too high to comfortably use this when sitting. I also didn’t like the cutout for mobile devices, which didn’t accommodate my iPad Pro nor the case for my iPhone.

I would rather have a flat surface for documents and papers. I ended up returning and buying a stand-alone sit-stand desk.

I did a lot of research on this desk riser and saw a lot of positive reviews. It was far less than the expensive known names but took a chance. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! This riser is excellent! It easily holds my two monitors and lap top! It rises and lowers so well and is very sturdy! Highly recommended! Would by another one without hesitation!.

Rather large addition on my medium sized /regular home office desk, but it is sturdy, and easy to bring up &down with my 3 monitors, 2 laptops, 1 docking station, and the corresponding mouses and 1 keyboard.

It would have been better if it was not so deep ( I had to pull my desk forward from the wall), But I guess this is required for stability. I am thinking of eventually using 2 c-clamps to hold the back statically to the desk, so I can remove the front foot extensions in an attempt to make it fit within the depth of my desk.

This desk fits exactly what I’m looking for. While electronic standup desk are cool, I find the crank handle to be a better fit for me personally. We have 6 of the 60 inch desk in my office and they are perfect for our 3 monitor setups (large monitors).

Over the course of a year they have held up great, no issues at all. This is also two tiered which I wanted specifically because it’s healthy to look straight forward at your screen and not up or down.

This two-tier setup allows you to do that. Plenty of desk space. I recommend getting the cord management with it, comes in very handy and makes for a nice clean look. Everyone who has been in my office has been impressed with our setup.

Most importantly, this is very cost effective. The Two Tier Crank Adjustable Stand-up desk is a bargain. No better option out there for quality, cost, and effectiveness. I do not write many reviews, I feel this is a great product so took the time to do so.

I also got the L Shaped desk Crank Adjustable desk which is another amazing desk with a ton of work space.

I purchased the full standing desk as an alternative to the more expensive VariDesk option. I was using a VariDesk standing riser for over a year and wanted an option with more work space. I absolutely love the idea of the full standing desk and am so happy with my choice with Stand Up Desk Store.

The product quality is on par for the price. The lever action for the full desk is a little cumbersome, but I stand 99% of my day and have an a separate desk to sit at, so I’m not moving the desk up and down often, which is why I didn’t choose an electric desk.

The 48″ is a perfect size for two large (24″) monitors and plenty of work space. The desk itself when at the standing height is sturdy and stable. And the birch top/white frame combination is sleek and professional! Set up was super easy and took less than an hour from unpacking to usage.

Other members in my department will be purchasing the same desk because of price and quality! You can’t go wrong!.

I was a bit concerned about the “”split”” level configuration and it there would be enough surface area. That concern was wasted, as I have realized that I would no want it any other way. The two level setup is perfect for what I do and there is plenty of surface area.

I really like this desk!The product is durable and you can tell it is built with quality in mind. Everything needed for assembly is included and the assembly process was a piece of cake. No issues at all.

Extremely solid when built. Well engineered and relatively simple to assemble. Directions are clear and illustrations are helpful. Finish is very nice and all parts are machined well, no poorly finished edges.

Large casters for easy movement. Must decide height during assembly, but wouldn’t be that difficult to change later – remove 4 bolts, adjust, reinsert and tighten. Assembled by myself in 45 minutes- would be easier with 2 people.

No indication of maximum capacity or shelf weight limits but will easily accommodate any computer, radio, electronics, cash register/sales gear. Weight limited to capacity of plastic casters. Could replace with better steel/rubber ones or remove to make stationary.

Wide stance but could become top heavy front to back if overloaded on top shelves. Top quality in all respects. I highly recommend.

I’ve had this desk now for almost one year. I thought it was pretty difficult to put together only because I didn’t know if it would be high it would be for me until it was actually put together.

It’s very heavy so putting it on the ground to be able to adjust the height (because there’s no crank) was pretty hard because of it’s weight. The wheels do make it easy to transport around. I’m 5’9 and just met the ergonomic requirments to use it as a stand up desk.

I got an ergonomic mat and footstool but found that it would hurt my lower back a lot to use it that way, even when I purposefully didn’t stay in one position very long. I also found myself feeling light-headed a lot.

It was nearly impossible to find a chair that was high enough to use with it being in it’s standing position. I finally just broke down and got an ergonomic stool and adjusted the desk lower so that I could use them together, instead of standing.

The top of the desk is just wide enough for my two displays but it’s definitely not meant to be a sit to stand desk (doesn’t claim to be) because sitting in it, there’s not a lot of leg room, leaving my legs to be pressed against the keyboard holder which has absolutely zero air flow.

I’m just going to have to break down and get an ergonomic desk (sitting). I also have an ergonomic keyboard and there’s not much room on the keyboard portion for it on the desk. The keyboard is huge though (microsoft).

The desk is sturdy and is quite strong, however it has a very small workspace. If you have a monitor and a laptop there’s not much more room for anything other than maybe a coffee cup. Not ideal for my needs.

Also, in order to make it a standing desk you have to take everything off, unscrew the bolts that make it high and low adjust the height and then put everything back, after doing this a couple of times I gave up and left it in the down position so again not ideal for what I needed.

I’m most likely buying a different desk and as its already assembled I can’t return it so again for me a waste of money. If you want a small desk that rolls around and you are okay to have it to stay at a certain height it is strong and well built so it would be a good desk for this purpose.

Few things are made with quality like this anymore. I was so pleased to see the excellent craftsmanship and sturdy design. I added a 24″ x 48″ top and the desk stand works flawlessly to support my printer and computer.

The motors are quiet and efficient. All cables and connectors are of superb quality. This is a must buy if you are looking for an adjustable desk stand. Also, the parts were packaged in such a fantastic manner that there was not a single scratch on any of them – anywhere! Thumbs up all around on this item.

Almost went with a cheaper option on another popular marketplace since sit stand desks are in high demand these days. So happy I went this route. Bought a butcher block for ~$100 from a home improvement store (stain/oil/lacquer depending on your preferred look) and attached to this item.

This sit stand desk base is SOLID when constructed. Instructions might be a little lacking for some but it?s really not difficult to assemble and I appreciated the extra screws they supplied just in case.

I don?t have a lot of weight on it (~100 lbs if you include the table top) but it raises/lowers butter smooth and relatively silent. Couldn?t be happier, definitely recommend.

This is probably the best made piece of office equipment I have EVER purchased. It is made of heavy gauge steel and well powder coated to perfection. The fasteners are equally well made and supplied.

If you want this type of adjustable desk, I would buy it and maybe an extra as an incredible gift for someone else. It has a wired remote that adjusts the desk to whatever height you prefer on preset buttons.

The operation is smooth, well designed and flawless as far as I can tell. This unit does NOT come with a top, so if you don’t already have one or are not a little handle with wood or similar materials, you might want to find another design.

I already had the perfect size glass top so it couldn’t have worked better. Bravo Uncaged, bravo!.

I very rarely give out a 5 star review to anything or anyone. I rate on the “Old School” bell curve model which reserves the absolute best score for the absolute best items or services. I can count on one hand the number of 5 star reviews I have given in the past 25 years.

My V2 Uplift desk is one of those times. I was unsure if a standing desk would help me deal with my recently developed sciatica but I was willing to give it a try after hearing from colleagues who have various standing desks.

The entire process from finding the desk that would suite my needs (and budget) to the delivery to the setup was extremely smooth and easy to do. I was a little concerned at first since it came in 6+ boxes and bending / lifting were very painful for me.

However my wife and I had no issues getting them into my home office. The video that showed one being set up in under 10 minutes was encouraging but I had no illusions I could do it anywhere near that quickly.

It took about 2 hours to unbox it all, verify all the parts were here and to fully assemble my desk with all of the extras. A big chunk of that time were frequent breaks to deal with my sciatica. If you do not have it or you do not order a ton of extras then you will likely take less than half that to assemble a fully loaded desk.

Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of all the materials and how easy the assembly really was to do. Everything is extremely sturdy without you needing a forklift to move it. The assembly process is very easy to do solo.

I definitely recommend a second set of hands for some of the tasks like turning it over or lifting the desktop onto a good working surface where you don’t have to bend over. There were a lot of little touches that helped the V2 earn its 5 star rating.

Items such as the small handle to use with the hex wrench so I could easily tighten the bolts fully without killing my hands. Or the individual packaging of the assorted bolts and screws in very clearly labeled packets.

I am 6′ 6″ so my desk needs to be fairly high for me to use while standing. The V2 desk alone would reach where I needed it to be. I added the heavy duty casters since my desk was going to partially block access to a bookcase and I would need to occasionally pivot it out of the way.

That added plenty of extra height without making the desk too high when in the lowered position. The casters let me pivot the desk when either raised or lowered with little effort. When I lock them, the desk does not move around.

Adjusting the height is extremely easy. Just a tap of the control and it moves a little. After setting the raised height for me I just double tap the control and stand back. The desk moves very smoothly to where I need it.

There is very little sound when the desk moves up or down. There were a couple things that I found which slightly marred my overall impressions/experience. The cable tray feels a little flimsy. It is essentially a sheet of heat formed acrylic and not sheet metal like everything else.

However that is only a minor ding in my book since it is out of the way and not something I will interact with much now that the desk is assembled. The other negative are the cable holders for my monitor arm.

Neither I nor my wife could get them to go into the holes on the arms without breaking off. While a little frustrating, I simply replaced them with the adhesive cable holders I had left and problem solved.

Now that I have had time to adjust to using a standing desk I have to ask why these are not standard issue for all home (or work) offices! There are a ton of options to choose from and the desk is super easy to use desk, extremely sturdy (even when raised) and looks great.

I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to get all the accessories installed and work with the desk for a couple of weeks before settling on a final opinion. I have to say that Uplift exceeded my expectations for the entire experience of ordering, receiving, unpacking, assembling, and installing my desk.

I ordered a custom hardwood (walnut) top for my left-hand relief L-shaped desk with big ultra-thin keyboard tray and quick adjust mount, CPU tower holder, two power receptacle grommets and the crestview dual monitor arm.

Immediately after ordering, I was contacted by David Martinez in customer service with a note that my custom order was going to take longer to fulfill and was I okay with that or did I want to change the order.

I worked with David for a period of about a week and ultimately decided to let it ride and wait for the higher quality real wood top. He provided really excellent and responsive customer service and made me feel like I made the right decision with my choice of company for this desk.

After receiving a lot of boxes, I put it off for about a week and then finally broke into the pile on a weekend. It took quite a bit of time to assemble everything – I’d estimate a total of about 8 hours total over a couple of days, but I was going very slow and reading the directions very carefully – even then, I made two mistakes and had to undo something before moving on.

The instructions are VERY well done – just read carefully and follow exactly. I found one or two places that the directions could be improved but nothing significant. I did what the instructions said and counted every component and fastener to check the inventory before starting assembly (I’ve been burned before) and I did find that one of the control cables was not in the package.

Customer service to the rescue – David had the issue taken care of and arranged for the parts to be shipped immediately – they haven’t arrived yet, but I found that I was still able to complete the setup because the control box is close enough to the corner leg that the short cable worked to connect it for now.

The fit of the parts, pre-drilled mounting holes in the desktop, quality of the fasteners, and overall design of the components is extremely high quality with robust, heavy gauge materials and exact machine design so everything fits together just right as the directions show.

I was very impressed with the construction. I’ve been using the desk now for a couple of weeks raising and lowering a few times a day to walk on my treadmill, stand and work, etc. and it is incredibly smooth and quiet to operate.

I love the one touch presets I can program into the advanced comfort keypad. Summary: this is a very high-quality desk made with robust materials and construction and the design details are very well thought out and executed.

I am impressed with the entire experience and the look and quality of the product. I will definitely recommend this company to friends, family and co-workers.

I have mixed feelings about the desk and process. At a high level, the quality of the frame, mechanics, accessories, etc. all seem really good and I haven’t had any problems with using the desk so far.

When I had shipping issues (more details below) customer support was polite and helpful. Ordering online was easy. Assembly was straight-forward and easy with 2 people. I would not recommend the while laminate desk top though, and I have some small complaints about some of the accessories.

Shipping: The site advertises that they will ship your order same day if you order before 3pm, which was true for like 5 out of 6 of my boxes. Unfortunately, the last box didn’t ship with the rest. When the first 5 arrived (on time and in perfect shape), their customer support reached out to me, I confirmed I had not received the final box, and they said they would ship it out immediately.

I got a new shipping confirmation, which listed one of the items as backordered for like 7months. When I emailed to ask about the backordered part (surge protector) I didn’t hear back, and instead got a new order confirmation that just had the surge protector removed – but no refund or communication.

I eventually called them, and the customer service rep was very helpful and explained the situation with the backordered accessory and got me a refund. There were then numerous shipping delays on FedEx’s part which I can’t blame UpLift for at all, but that final box had the main piece of the frame.

So for a month I had 5 huge boxes in my house that couldn’t be assembled. It would have been nice for them to prioritize getting the main desk shipped out together to avoid this. The desk top: I purchased the white laminate 1″ desk top, and when I finally opened the box I was SO disappointed.

It feels like cheap melamine you’d find at a home improvement store. The edge is wrapped nicely, but the seam between the top and the side came discolored and dirty. I’ve been able to clean it a little, but it still looks dirty from close up, and I worry about the durability of the top itself.

Seems like any scratch will easily go through the surface. I don’t know this for sure, but just makes me nervous to set anything on it (thankful I added the writing desk pad! haha). I’m not sure if the other laminate styles would feel the same or not, but if I were to order again I would choose differently as I was expecting a nicer laminate finish.

Some other notes on accessories: The Zilker Dual Monitor Arms are easy to install and use, but with two 28″ monitors, you really have to have them pushed forward about 8-12″ in order for them to sit side by side, touching.

Otherwise the arms will push out behind the back edge of the desk (which doesn’t work if your desk is against a wall). This isn’t a big deal to me, because I use the desk while on a treadmill, so I’m further back from the edge of the desk, but would have been an issue I’d wish I’d know if I wanted to use them back pushed all the way back.

Overall, I like the desk and the mobility is great. Delivery was a pain, and I hope the desk top holds up over time.

4. 5/5 OVERALL: After quite a bit of research, we decided on this as a good choice for working-from-home. I’ve used this desk for 4 months now on a daily basis and really my only issue is the motor mechanism is a little noisy.

I put this together alone (2 people recommended) and built two of them. Great consistency in the packing/packaging/instructions and great quality overall. For $600 CAD, it’s a little on the expensive side, I would have preferred to see this around the $400 CAD price point for the best value.

PROS: +Great looking +Excellent instructions +Very professional packing, well-organized and tight +Great quality +Excellent integration with USB charging/sleek up-down mechanism (less than 2 sq in – very efficient) CONS: -Motor mechanism is a little noisy -Pricey -I would like to see some cable management (3 cables that connect on the underside) below the desk surface for ease of threading.

The power mount/control box is on the opposite side of where the lift control goes (at least one cable has to cross the gear mechanism or be wrapped around the outside of the table leg to keep it away – see photo).

I read these reviews and was hesitant to buy, but really liked the desk. I was planning on buying a very similar desk from IKEA. I had been planning on it for 8 months. I went to order it and they will not be available for months, much like many things at IKEA.

So I decided to take a chance. Glad I did. I had none of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Perhaps they improved the packaging since those. My boxes had a few chunks missing, but the packaging had very think corrugated cardboard inserts and the frame box was extremely well packed to protect the contents.

The quality of the components of the desk are very good, everything fit together perfect and there were extra fasteners in my package. I suspect they have made good attempts to correct past bad reviews.

The only criticism I can find is that the sticky back wire ties that are for holding the wires up underneath don’t stick to well. I can live with that one.

Very good standing desk. Easy to assemble. Did it by myself in about thirty minutes. I’m a little worried that only four small screws hold the base to the table top. However, it is very sturdy and can keep my dual monitor setup steady once I converted to flexible monitor arm stands.

The desktop feels solid and resistant to scratches. The brown wooden color of the desktop is attractive but the gray painted base gives it a more industrial look. My only issue is that I wish that there was an option to get the preset memory for the up and down controller.

I use the desk’s up and down feature at least five to six times a day and it’s a pain to keep you finger on the controller and figuring out when to stop to my desired height.

After reading reviews about ghost movement and faulty controls I was hesitant to purchase. But I went ahead because I loved the aesthetic of the desk and couldn’t beat the price. 1. It came with a slight crack in the wood near the controls similar to others’ pictures.

2. After assembly and beginning to program heights, the desk would continuously move on its own and was super annoying. After much debate I finally broke it back down and exchanged it for another one.

This new one was perfect with no damage and now works flawlessly. The key is: DO NOT IGNORE THE RED FONT ON PAGE 11 OF THE MANUAL. The only way the desk works perfectly is if it is initialized/reset immediately after first being plugged in.

If you just plug it in and immediately start moving up and down, it will be cursed forever regardless of how many times you reset afterward. This is why now, I give it a 5 start rating. Durable, aesthetically pleasing and works flawlessly!.

Built a desk top and put it on this great base. The base is heavy, very solid, powerful, and quiet. Its upper and lower elevations far exceed what you’d need from any desk. Controls work outstanding and have a nice soft-start/soft-stop motion.

One thing: I set this up easily and quickly, and tried out the raise/lower function. It worked great! Next time I went to move the desk, it showed ‘- – -‘ and did nothing. The manual’s troubleshooting section didn’t help at all.

Customer service pointed out that this is the automatic lock function, and it is covered elsewhere in the manual. Pushing ‘M’ for a few seconds unlocks it. The controller will lock again when it goes back to sleep.

You can turn this off using the setup steps, which I recommend going through as you can (fairly) easily set a min and max height for the motion. At initial default, Max height is almost high enough for me to walk underneath! and the Min would smash my knees pretty well.

This is a great unit; just wish they’d indicate that control-lock function in the troubleshooting as well as buried elsewhere in the manual. 5 Stars all around; would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

This table is great for adjustable heights. I use it for sculptures so I cans under them, then eye-level, etc. It holds well, does not shake, and has a footrest that is adjustable. Nice appearance and so helpful!.

The desk was easy to assemble, took about 40 minutes after laying out the pieces. Functions as expected and it’s fairly easy to adjust the height, except that you have to take everything off before moving it.

I’m fairly minimalist-using a laptop with an additional monitor so it’s not a big deal but worth mentioning for those that are looking for a desk that adjusts “on the fly”. I paired the desk with a stool task chair and it’s the perfect complement.

After initial setup, I had issues with the child lock not working. I wasn’t too concerned with that though and just kept using it. Then it randomly started going up and down on its own after I adjusted the height.

I would just unplug it to make it stop. About 3 months in, I came home and it was going crazy. I eventually unplugged it because it wouldn’t stop. After that it no longer moved up/down. Customer service was nice and came to the conclusion to send a new control module, which took weeks before I received it.

I received it but issue is still not fixed. I will be returning and buying a Flexispot.

I am very happy with my purchase. I have been using the desk now for a few weeks and absolutely love it. It is very sleek looking. You can set 3 heights for the desk to remember so that you just press one button and it adjusts (rather than holding down the up or down buttons).

It is the perfect size for me. Very easy set up, a friend helped me and we (mostly he) did it in less than 15 minutes. Because the top is glass, your finger prints do tend to leave a print so you do need to wipe it down every so often otherwise there’s prints all over it.

But that would be an issue with any glass top desk. It’s important to note that if you are thinking of mounting something on this desk (ie a monitor), there is a bit of a lip under the desk, so I think for some people that creates an issue, depending on the type of mount you want to use.

It was not an issue for me because I am not mounting anything. I had called customer service before purchasing, because I had a few questions about this desk and they were fantastic, very knowledgeable.

I saw this desk on another Canadian retailer’s website on sale but I wanted to purchase from Lowe’s because they provided 1 year warranty as opposed to the other retailer which only provided 6 months warranty.

I contacted Lowe’s via the online chat to inquire about price matching. They price matched the desk and gave an additional 10% off. They processed an adjustment as soon as it was shipped (you have to pay the full price with Lowe’s up front and then contact Lowe’s for an adjustment).

The person who dealt with my inquiry over the online chat was amazing. I am very happy with the product and the service I received. I would highly recommend purchasing this desk, particularly from Lowe’s, as their customer service was excellent!.

Nice but came in with minor chips in vinyl wood finish and missing one machine bolt. I picked up a replacement at local hardware store because i didnt want to wait for replacement to ship over. There was a minor chip in the vinyl wood front.

I kept it as i didnt want to wait for replacement and it is hardly noticeable unless you gocus your eyes on it. The motor is quiet and works well. Memory is easy to set and overall seems very sturdy.

The black glass surface has practically a mirror finish/shine to it and is stunning. No drawer but you can buy stands to add one so no big deal.

I like that it accommodates both my monitors and keyboard plus there is a lot of room on the top for post its, paperclip holders, cups, food, paperwork etc. I do like the pen/phone holder as well. all those things are very accomodating.

There is a lot of storage room below too as long as you don’t have cups and scissors and anything that is of height. I would have liked it to not be as long from front to back because I only have one way that I can place it on my desk.

I was hoping to place it more against the wall. The other thing that I really don’t like is the keyboard platform. it is great until you want it to move or fold underneath or out of the way and that doesn’t happen.

It is bolted right where it is and it doesn’t move or swing. That to me is very annoying because it should and could very easily be able to swing underneath and out of the way. Other than that, it is fine and I like that I have the ability to stand and work as needed.

Works just as I expected Seems to be very durable. Definitely able to adjust height easily. I am able to fit two 24″ monitors with more than enough space for other items. The provided slot has 3 holes at the bottom so you can easily charge your iphone and/or ipad with cords being on desk.

Able to fit a keyboard and desk phone on second level with enough room to maneuver mouse Very happy with this standing desk.

It took a few hours to assemble it myself. One of the screws is microscopic so empty the hardware carefully into a large bowl or glass/metal container. Once assembled with the casters the desk sat too high in its lowest position for my brand new adjustable chair.

So I removed the casters and installed the pads and. I have a rock solid adjustable table that raises and lowers smoothly. It would be nice if there were 4 extra holes under it for attach an optional keyboard tray (if there is one).

There are only two on the smaller model. Even so with the pads the desk is at a reasonable height. When standing the monitors appear lower (than when sitting) so I’ll need to built a platform to raise them.

I can always break into the museum at night and steal something called a phone book but it’s always more rewarding to build something on the weekend. Again the table raises and lowers smoothly – no shuddering.

I bought this desk back in 2018. I actually thought I was buying something that would last me a year or so. Three years later, it has held up nicely. In fact, it still looks brand new. The material is solid.

The wood top is not actual wood, but the treatment holds up. I have sat glasses directly on the desktop and there are no signs of water damage. Also, if you are tall, this would be the ideal desk for the sitting position.

I usually have to slouch down to get work done. Not with this desk.

Very well constructed, solid and stable even when I lean on it while working. Putting it together was straight forward and I was impressed by the thickness and physical weight of the desk support system.

I find the open space beneath the desk to be very comfortable so that I can stand anyway I wish without bumping into the support system. I was also very impressed by the density and finish of the desk top.

Solid, nicely done and zero flexing or movement. The finish feels very good. I chose to put the wheels on, though you have the option to use the round adjustable feet for a stationary setup. With the wheels on and my space has indoor/outdoor carpet, it’s very stable.

I have two standing desks and wish I’d found this one first. It’s a great value for the investment and everybit as good as my other standing desk which was almost twice the price. I would recommend this desk without hesitation.

After working full-time remotely due to COVID-19 (I teleworked 2 days a week otherwise), working at my dining room table and in my bedroom got old real quick! So, I was on a mission to find the ideal/ perfect desk.

I’d place quite a few desk on my wish list here at the Q and even order a few and then sent back. Saw this desk and fell in love; particularly because of the height adjustment feature as I had this type of desk at work.

Well, I researched this desk and found it (the EXACT same desk and color-black- that I wanted) at Home Depot 25$s cheaper then the current sell price, with 10% off and free S&H :-)!!! As you can imagine, I’m one happy remote worker.

I would recommend it but research it first since you may be able to find it cheaper.

I got the motorized table electrically operated adjustable height desk 24×48. it can be raised to 48 inches and has 4 memory height adjustments. I installed it today after receiving it yesterday. It operates very well very solid and sturdy good product.

It looks good and functioning good but the product I received got defects. One screw point which holds the motor in center of the table bottom got damaged and I cannot put screw again on it, so now its hanging one side down but it still functions and the other side the drawer installation was bad which I have to fix by adjusting the position also the the drawer front panel had cracks on it and this is definitely not a good service from the team for 300 $ worth of product.

Highly disappointed after spending this much amount :(.

Accurate description of the product. It meets or exceeds my expectations and is a fantastic value. It shipped very fast and everything was packed nicely to protect the desk in shipping. The desk comes in a flatpack and is very heavy.

I unpacked it in my garage and carried it in parts to my upstairs home office. It was relatively easy to assemble and the manufacturer supplied all that is needed, plus extra screws. Predrilled holes aligned perfectly and I was able to put it together in about an hour or less.

This desk is very sturdy with absolutely no wobble. It has a large surface area that accommodates my laptop, external monitor, keyboard and mouse pad and various desk accessories. Preset heights are convenient, but can be positioned manually to whatever height suits me and the motor is quiet and easy to operate.

The only drawback is that it does not have a keyboard tray, but I’m finding this to be no problem as the desk can lower to the right height for good ergonomics.

I love this desk, but the frame and floating glass make it a little tricky to add a monitor arm. I am writing this second review because I almost gave up and went back to using a stack of textbooks — until my husband came up with an ingenious solution.

Most monitor arms come with two-piece, adjustable clamps so they can accommodate a range of desk thicknesses. He was able to move our monitor arm clamp to the inside of the frame so that it clamped directly to the glass.

All we needed was a couple of longer screws and 2 pair of lock nuts to hold the two brackets far enough apart to clear the desk’s outer frame. Unfortunately, this sited doesn’t allow photos in reviews.

Use the lock nuts to squeeze the brackets at each end of the screws. We used two M6x30mm screws and four M6 lock nuts to mount a monitor arm on my desk.

My original package was missing both feet so my desk has been laying on the floor for a week while I wait for the feet to be resent. I finally get the box and there was only one foot in the box. I called to ask to have the one feet overnighted to me and the agent told me they could only send it standard shipping.

That is bull. Now my desk has to lay on the floor for another whole week. It has been two weeks and I have yet to been able to use my desk. I will never purchase anything else from this company and I will make sure my friends, family, and followers know not to buy from here as well.

First let me say this was a fantastic value for an adjustable electric desk. The color options were great also. The 48′ size is perfect for our space- it’s not obnoxiously large but has ample space for our laptop, second large monitor, and a lamp.

Our larger printer does not fit on the desk which is not a big deal for us. The drawer is super handy but mine doesn’t push in all the way on one side, but not really a big deal. The USB ports and memory settings are phenomenal.

I have way less back and neck pain when I stand but after several hours love the option to sit down. I’m happy so far. We’ll see how durable it is over time. I’m only one month in.

I have chronic hip socket problem, can’t sit too long. Wanted to have option to work stand. Yet I didn’t want to change to standing table. Looked into couple of reviews, compared w other products include price range, I decided to get it.

Personally I got what I did needed exactly. Product as described, very well build. Expected as I saw in some review. Putting my 24′ iMac on it. Not very heavy to start with. either that or not, it is very easy to raise up.

Now, put down is a little tricky for me that i’m working on it. I don’t get right amount to make it slowly lower down. Product instuction says it needs to be carried by 2 person. but Im 5’2. Altho I can carry 65lb~dog, I could easily move to my office, put on the desk & move around.

I’ve looked at the adjustable desks for years, but I refused to pay the prices for most of them–more than $500. I was about to build my own when I came across this one. Looked a little cheap in the photo, but I thought I’d give it a try; if it didn’t work, I’d send it back.

When it arrived, I was surprised by the heavy box. When I removed it from the box and looked at the desk top I was quite impressed. When I put two monitors and the keyboard on it and raised it, it almost hissed with delight and came up very easily.

The bottom has a type of non-skid surface so it’s can’t slide on the real desktop. I’ve used it now for two days and I am very happy with my smart purchase. Thanks!.
