20 Best Height For A Woman (2023 Updated)

I’ve loved bearpaws since I tried my first pair like ten years ago. The trendy brand for this kind of boots was a different one, but I found them too expensive for their “uggliness”, so I looked for another brand with the same features hopefully with a more convenient price tag.

Just to be clear, I didn’t like this style of boots at that time, but I recognized their ability to keep my feet warm during the worst winter days. That’s when I found Bearpaw, and I fell in love with these warm cuties at a very reasonable price, made of the same natural materials that won’t let your feet smell bad while keeping them really warm.

I still keep a pair from that time. And this is what makes me sad, that Bearpaw hasn’t kept the same quality from years ago. The whole lining used to be sheepskin, now it’s a blend of sheepskin and wool.

This new pair has loose insoles, you can take them off and they look so cheap! In past times you would wear your boots of the correct size for the first try and you would feel as if they were too small because of the thickness of the lining.

But once you had worn them several times, the lining would have adjusted to your feet and the sizing would be then just right. Unfortunately, with the current boots you can feel the sole under your feet, the boots are not that comfortable at all as they used to be.

The lining is not that thick enough to protect your feet against winter cold. And I feel bad that you can just take the insoles and look how cheap they are. They used to be warmer as well, perfect for Maryland’s winters, now they’re fine for fall.

I would recommend these boots, just not for the same purpose as years ago.

I was really excited about these boots at first as they were cute and very cozy. I had been searching for quite a while for the right style and price point for a sheepskin/wool boot, and these seemed perfect.

However after a few months of light wear, the bottom elastic that holds the button closed has broken. The top elastic on the same boot is about to snap as well, I included a photo showing where it is about to detach.

I don’t even think I could sew this back together without it looking strange, as there is no way to insert the elastic back into the opening where it broke from. So now I am stuck walking around with an elastic band dangling off my shoe.

Soon I will be unable to keep the buttons closed at all after the second one snaps- with no functional buttons, the boots will no longer be wearable. For $80 boots that are practically still new, this is extremely disappointing.

I have average size calves with plenty of clearance in the shaft, and I have not put any stress on the elastic or stretched it in any way to cause this. Unfortunately I can’t recommend these.

So when I first received these I thought they were far too snug, but after wearing them in for a bit they are perfectly true to size. A few things though, when the boots arrived there were loose strings and stitching right out of the box.

Not just a few, but like A LOT. I’m impatient and didn’t want to wait for the return/re-order process, so I just kept them and sewed them up myself, but for boots that cost over $60 this is completely unprofessional.

The NeverWet® technology holds up really well. I wore these in 8 inches of snow for 30-45 minutes and there was really minimal dampness. The bottom tread looks like it would be good in snow, but it’s not great.

I wish they had better traction, but luckily I can fit a pair of rubber ice cleats on them. That said, for a fast slip on option, they’re pretty warm and comfortable, and decent all things considered.

I would recommend not paying full price, and waiting to purchase when they’re on sale.

I have a number of the Tall “Hunter” boots in both the Originals and Refined Styles and in a Variety of Colors and Finishes (Matte and Glossy). I typically wear either a U. S. Size-11 or 12 or Euro 42 or 43.

Because “Hunter” lists their Boots in U. S. and Euro as well as U. K. sizing, I found that when wearing the Original Styles I generally order them in a Size-10/Euro-42. Because the Refined Style is more Sleek and Narrow I order them in the Size-11/Euro-43.

Both the Original and Refined though can be worn either Casual or Dressy and are my “Go To” Boots when the Inclement Weather Arrives. Although not Overly Warm when the Temps Really dip, as long as I’m not planning being out for a Lengthy Period of time I still love wearing them.

I will say that I have average size calves, but I typically have to wear my boots with leggings or tights as I don’t have room to tuck a jean or pant into them. As several of the other reviews have mentioned I find pulling the boots on easy but I have to work getting them off.

All said though I’d definitely recommend these to both Women and Men as well as Gurls like me who want Versatile Wellies for Dress or Causal Outings. My Wife and I have several matching Pairs in Red, Black, Lavender and Pink which we wear out together.

I think the Bright Yellow pair offered above will make a Great Addition to my Collection.

I’ve been a fan of Hunter rain boots since my Wife bought me a pair of Originals several years ago for Christmas. Since then I’ve added many more both Originals and Refined in the Matte and Glossy Finishes.

Besides Black, I wanted a splash of color and added some in Light Blue, Lilac, Gray and went way out of the box and got them in Pink as well. I have slim calves for a Man and both the Originals and Refined fit, but are a little snug so I generally wear them with Trouser Socks, Skinny Jeans, Leggings or Tights, depending on the occasion.

In the Refined Style I order my usual Women’s Size-11’s/Euro-43’s and they fit perfectly. I’m glad Hunter came out with the Riding Style Look as I find them more Versatile to go from Casual with my Skinny Jeans to a Dressier Look with Leggings or even the right Skirt/Dress.

Whatever the occasion at least I know my feet will stay dry If you live in areas where Snow/Slush are prevalent. I’d recommend the Refined Style to both Women and Men wanting a little Style and Flair.

So i been using these for the past 3 or so (everyday and every where i go)and they are perfect with high top boots like timbs. They also go well with mid shoes like jordan 4s. Surprising enough you can wear then with almost any shoe you want though (low tops like airforces/low vans and yezzys/ prestos) as long as the shoe is compact it will keep your foot nice and snug within them.

But there is a draw back. with most of the shoes you wear them with you cant always use it to the most potential and have to opt out for just using the base without an attachment because it will cause your foot to make the tunge of the shoe go up and looks like your foot will burst from it.

An example of this is with my jordan 4s i only wear the base and no attachment although it can fit the attachments comfortably the tunge will make it obvious that there is something off about it. This is a small problem that can be fixed by wearing baggy/boot cut pants, so you can wear it to the max potential.

Also to avoid the tounge poking out maybe a bigger size shoe can help with that. All that said they are very comfratable and do what they are supposed to. PS: when i first got them it would make my calf muscles cramp up once in a while including my shin having a mild pain.

But after a while it became natural and I can run and jump and play sports with them on. Here is a list of all the shoes i wear it with and how many attachments i can/wear with them: airforce 1s (just the base), off white prestos ( just the base), jordan 4s (just the base but occasionally with one added layer), jordan 1 high (base +1 extra layer) yezzy 700 v3 ( just the base) yezzy 700 v1 (just the base) and timberland boots (base+one layer).

I’ll start this out by saying the actual execution of the product is 5 stars. These seem really well made and designed nicely. That’s a big compliment coming from me. I took a star off because the idea sounds a lot better hypothetically than it is in practice.

I thought I would be able to have these on the lowest height and maybe wear them to work, and have the higher inserts added for special occasions. I know 5’8″ isn’t really short, but I definitely wouldn’t mind being a little taller when I’m out on dates with my boyfriend and we’re dressed up.

Truth is, having the full height makes me feel like SpongeBob in the prom episode when he’s Mr. Long, Tan, and Handsome. It’s pretty hard to walk in, so I feel like it makes my gait look distractingly unnatural.

As long as I’m standing still it’s fine. Maybe I’m just not good at walking in these. My other complaint with having the tallest inserts in is that I wore these with Doc Martens and it makes the spot where the toe of the boot connects to the rest of the shoe dig into my foot.

Putting the lowest height in is something I think I could get used to for the aforementioned special occasions and things. I definitely couldn’t wear it to work because I’m on my feet all day, and it seems like even that may start to get uncomfortable after a while.

I am going to be in a theater production where I need to be taller than my colead so I picked these up for part of the costume. They will work but despite the description you won’t be able to just loosen the laces of your normal shoes.

I grabbed an old pair of shoes and dropped them into the shoe and as you can see in the picture the lift is taller than the side of the shoe. They did work in some hiking boots I had but even then it creates a bulge that looks odd among the laces, with the right pair of pants you can make it work.

They aren’t the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn but for my uses it will work. I wouldn’t want to go dancing in them or run a race but other than that they are fine.

I love these shoes. When I purchased these shoes I had two other shoes at the time. I set them all in a row and I looked at each one to make sure would pick the right one. The other ones one didn’t fit and the other one didn’t go with my dress.

But these shoes fit perfectly. Need to purchase a pair in black. Great price! I haven’t purchased dress shoes in years. My grandson is getting married this weekend had to purchase a dress (which I haven’t worn a dress since I retired) as well as shoes.

That was an experience.

These are My second pair of LIFESTRIDE! After trying on mulitple pairs of black pumps for a job that requires them at all times while working, no other brand has lived up to the comfortability and quality of Life Stride.

I love these shoes because there is no need to “break them in” in hopes they will become more comfortable over time. These are perfectly comfortable straight out of the box! My first pair were rounded toe so now that work started up again I came back to order directly for the pointed toe version for a classier more elongated look.

I’m so happy with these and they will remain my go to company for pumps. I can live in these, stand up and walk around all day long with no slipping or sore feet! Life Stride truly takes the guess work out of shopping for pumps.

Very beautiful well made pump. First off- I am 1/2 size smaller on one side. I ordered the 8 1/2 navy blue. I will attach a picture of reference. I also will not be wearing any hoses/tights either. So, with my bare feet they’re comfortable.

My ankles do slip out completely on the smaller foot so I’m going to return and order an 8 wide. I’m confident that it will solve this issue. My advice is to get your regular size. No need for sizing up or down.

The most comfortable pair of heels I’ve ever worn. Like putting on a pair of slippers. I have wide feet, and it’s hard to find dress shoes that are both comfortable and stylish. I ordered the wide in my size, and these shoes fit perfectly.

They don’t pinch at all, and look great. My only wish is that the heel was a little bit lower.

Bought these to accent my business casual wardrobe. These shoes are tough, boss,fresh,out of sight. whatever generation you come from. They will never go out of style. Its like walking on air. Lifstride heels are a [email protected]

I absolutely love these and wish they had them in more colors. They are gorgeous and are super comfortable. I get so many compliments on them and can wear them all day without hurting.

I used to wear low top chucks a long, long time ago and remember them feeling so flat without any support, and no room for insoles. I stopped wearing them after I developed arch pain. Lately I’d been wanting some kind of high-top sneaker, so I tried these on a whim, and whoa.

The platform makes them surprisingly squishy and comfortable! Everything I was reading said to go down a half size, but I’m a US 8/8. 5 and had to go up to a US 9 in these. The toe box is so narrow that wearing my usual size made my toes feel a little too cramped.

I bought them in black, but I like them so much that I’m thinking about buying the burgundy too.
