SOLUTION! AFTER 3 OF THESE. THERE IS ANOTHER SKU THAT HAS THE SAME BOX SAME DESIGN, SAME EVERYTHING CALLED MAXX NOT JUMP IT. literally look it up same box same everything, went through 3 of these jumpits, they all would sriow working out of the box or after a week.

Then I grabbed what I thought www exactly the same same price purchased it and it has never failed me and always holds charge and charges fast. the caveat is the jumpits had the ability to use it’s inverter to power other devices while it itself was being charged.

many think this is a design flaw and the reason they repackaged it as the Maxx, uses the same box and same machine but removed the ability to use he inverter while it is being charged. THAT SUCKED AT FIRST.

BUT I am constantly using my Maxx and it can retain upwards of 13 5 volts even when charged. I jump start my battery so fast and no problems every time. so just AVOID THE JUMP IT BRANDING. look for the same feature and you’ll see the identical one I’m talking about which is about 92 dollars at walmart.

The Maxx is actually a bit lighter as well. other than that same exact casing, box, interface, features, and you won’t need to return it 3 times like I did with jump it.

I was really happy to have this on stand by in my truck if needed because I didn’t want to be stuck and waiting for someone else. However whenever it was time to use it, it was always dead eventhough I kept charging it.

Apparently the little flashlight just comes on and drains the battery. Everytime that I’ve noticed it on and turned it off it comes right back on again. Now it’s just a waste of money because I can’t do anything with it being dead when needed.

I thought that this would be good to use to jump vehicles as well as if the power went out for usb or inverter plug but no I was wrong because it would have to work to be able to use it.

Bought this for my wife’s car since she has a bad habit of leaving her lights on and killing her battery, causing me to drop what I’m doing to drive to wherever she is and jump start her car. The fact that this Jump Box also has an included air compressor in case a tire is low is just icing on the cake! I went with this Jump Box over others due to the features as well as the Stanley brand name.

The box not only will jump start your vehicle or pump up the tires, but it also has USB ports to charge your devices and a built in flash light as well. In fact we bring it into the house during hurricanes just in case we lose power and need to charge our phones.

It has a sturdy handle and feels really well made outside of the flashlight, which is the only thing I don’t like about this product. It is not detachable and is only mounted by a small plastic swivel that feels like it could break off easily.

This is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars. But the performance of the battery and jump starting vehicles is great! Even with leaving it in the trunk of her car in the hot North Carolina summer and using it to not only jump her car but another stranded motorist in a parking lot, the truck I am working on a few times, and my lawn tractor, the enclosed battery still had charge! Just make sure to top off the charge once a month to make sure it is ready for use.

I feel much better knowing she has this with her in her car so I don’t have to worry about her being stranded someplace at night with a dead battery!.

I already owned three other brands of jump starters. Alpha 100 by Hulkman is the only one which worked as advertised. My SUV was so dead that I had to use the emergency key to get into the car to open the hood.

After set up, Alpha 100 gave a correct diagnosis. I used the emergency start procedure of pressing the power and LED buttons simultaneously for three seconds. Then I started the car OK. Disconnection of jump starter is necessary within 30 seconds to prevent possible damage to Alpha 100.

Great product form a trusted Brand! This Jump Start is well built, 4 gauge cables, cooper heavy duty clamps, rust and corrosion proof. Automatic charge shut off, so you never have to worry about over charge and damaging internal battery.

Compared to other jump starters I have own I find it more compact, which is great! I Stores in any position! I am so happy it, I have it ready to go in the garage ready for when ever it is needed.

Used this today for the first time to jump-start a co-worker’s car and it worked great the first try even with the battery down to the second LED and not fully green. The one issue that we had was that the clamps were way to thick because of all the plastic to fit on the positive terminal which had a bunch of extra plastic surrounding it after lifting the guarding plastic cap.

I didn’t see any way to remove the plastic ring around the terminal so I used someone else’s actual jumper cables with much smaller ends (thanks to only being metal at the end) to extend the cables attached to the battery pack and it worked like a charm.

Daisy-chaining for the win :D! My recommendation is to try and fit the clamps on your car’s battery as soon as you get this and make sure it works. If not, do like I’m doing right now and buy a set of “normal” jumper cables to put in your trunk.

Even if the batteries clamps do fit your personal battery, get a set of jumper cables in case you run across a weird battery that someone else has XD. Don’t fail that cute stranded girl because you were to big! Regardless of the clamp size, don’t let that deter you from buying this kit.

It is well built and good at what it does. I actually came across this because my personal battery died and I had to have AAA jump start my car. I asked the technician what the model was of his kit and bought this right-away.

He said that it has jumped everything he has thrown at it including big-rigs and is still going strong years later. Good enough for AAA is good enough for me I figure :).

This is an excellent product ! Once you charge it fully you can get at least 5 or more jumpstarts before recharging. It’s slim design makes it fit in your glovebox or under your seat easily. It has a convenient light for use if you need to jumpstart at night.

Holy Moly!! This thing is amazing, and I think anyone who is looking for a jump start pack, should seriously look at the AutoJoe Jumpstarter pack. This thing has so many great features, how could you not want this in your back seat or your garage when you need a jumper.

This jump pack has a very unique shape, to make it look more like a alien flashlight than a jump starter. It has 2 different lights on it, the one on the bottom of the unit also has a magnetic ring so you can stick the booster / light anywhere on a metal frame or bodywork.

The flat panel LED light in the body of the unit is SUPER bright, and changes from a bright white, to a solid RED, to a flashing RED warning. The power ports are on the side of the unit, and covered very nicely by a soft plastic cover.

Inside you’ll find the square/round port for the jump starter cable cord to plug into, as well as a couple USB ports to change your Tablet / Phone, a 12v barrel connector out, and a barrel connector to plug in jump starter to charge it.

The jumper comes with 2 different ways to charge it, a 12v car adapter to change it while your drive around, or a USB cable to charge it at home. I do wish that they would have skipped the little barrel connector port for charging and use a nice USB-C port for charging, but this baby barrel connector isn’t that bad.

Product shipped quickly and arrived earlier than estimated. It has been a cold winter and bought this in case my car had trouble starting in the mornings. I like all the extra features this portable jump starter has compared to others on the market.

For the sale price I got it for, it was well worth it. I’m glad it came early because not so much as an hour after I received it, I went out to try to start one of my cars that had been sitting for a while to go run errands and sure enough, it wouldn’t start.

The battery was completely dead! I immediately went and grabbed a battery charger and attached it to the dead battery to give it some juice before I tried using the Worx jump starter as it is not recommended to jump start a fully depleted battery.

Great work aid, Purchased two weeks ago! Love the magnetic base and the strap hanging feature which made it easy to install the lift kit on my Polaris Ranger Side by Side! The work light feature is awesome and illuminates the entire area with few shadows.

I also use the jumpstart feature to fire up my Polaris Hawkeye 300 ATV, Which has been suffering a lazy battery condition for several months. I also like the availability of the red emergency light, and the super powerful flashlight, both of which have full line, and flashing features! I have yet to try the USB chargers but have no doubt they will work as well !! This will certainly be my onboard companion for all my work, and play outings with my Ranger side-by-side! the lights are great, but that was not why i purchased this very expensive flashlight. I purchased it for jumping vehicles and lawn equipment when i needed it. Mine arrived in a busted up box, i tried jumping my power mower unsucessfully, i tried jumping my van again unsuccessful.

so far it has not been able to do what i needed, perhaps i am not doing it correctly. i tried reading the microscopic directions and looked online for some help. i happened to find a brief description on internet, but still was lacking.

This thing has saved my butt several times already!! I had a power outage for a couple days from a bad storm and didnt want to run my generator all night so I used this to charge any small electronics overnight.

Literally just plug and play! Amazing! Recently my truck battery has not been holding a charge so instead of jumping it with my car every time, I used the jump starter. Pop the hood, attach the clamps, turn the dial to on and start the vehicle.

Excellent jump starters for professionals who needs to jump starts many cars during the day! i work at a car dealer and we use this unit to jump start at least 5 cars per day, it has no problem starting any kind of cars and trucks, the only time where it fell short was when trying to start a F350 6.

0 disel with a completely dead battery that was drawing power. other than that i have not had any other cars were it struggled with. the unit itself is very solid, clamps are good and solid construction, its a little bit on the heavier side (i think official weight is ~25 pounds) but thats expected if you need a powerful unit.

also a neat little feature that the unit have is that even when the unit is off if the clamps are hooked to the battery it shows how much voltage is in the battery or the battery is getting, this is useful in know if the battery is completly dead or just a little low, its also useful when the car is on cause you can check if the battery is getting enough voltage and know if the alternator is working or not without having to grab a multi meter.

we usually use it all day to jump anywhere from 5-20 cars, and then charge it at night. so far we have had this unit for almost a year and its still running strong with no issues. i would highly recommend it for anyone who needs a jumper for multiple daily use.

if you only needed it for emergency or need one that you can easily cary around i would go with a smaller unit.

Not much else to say other than that! I received this as a Christmas gift from my fiancé’s family the version without Qi charging, but the rest is the same, and it’s honestly one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten.

This is a great package. It’s a small package which makes it particularly nice. Battery chargers are getting smaller and more powerful, and this is a good example of the progress that has been made. My main use for this is as a battery charger.

All the other stuff is nice, might come in handy, and I appreciate it being there. But, in the end, I want to make sure that if I get into the car and the battery is dead, this will revive it. I’ll forgo the suspense and tell you now that it works, and it works easily, quickly, and effectively.

Now that you know it works, some of the other things to know are that it is compact and comes in a nice, semi-hard shell carrying case so that it is not rolling around in the trunk of your car. BTW, if you look at the attached photos when I put the battery in the right side pocket of the carrying case, it was challenging to remove.

Keep it in the left side pocket with the mesh and keep the cable and adapter on the right and itll be easy to remove. What’s nice about this is that after you turn it on, it will give you operating instructions, step by step.

This makes me feel more comfortable when my kids take the car since they have never even seen a car’s engine, unlike some of us older folks. Anyone can operate this unit in an emergency. Although a bit short, the cables are well designed so that one is longer than the other, and they are also covered with insulation.

These two factors make it very unlikely that you will accidentally let the negative and positive clamps make contact that is not good for the battery or anything around it. It can also be used as a power bank with a Type-A USB slot and Qi wireless charging, which is great for charging newer phones.

Since I expect this to spend most of its time in the cars trunk, these are not very important to me, and I’d prefer that the charger be fully charged when and if I need to use it to boost a battery. But the extras are there if you want them, and you can easily recharge the battery.

This review is mainly for the build quality, expected performance and wireless charging. This is because we have not yet had a flat battery in order to check how it charges our 5. 7 liter vehicle. The starter arrived 75% charged and had fast wireless charging straight from the box.

One is in each of my cars and the third is the 10 Liter 4000 A version which I keep in my Ford Powerstroke diesel. What a great boost box. These are high quality and work great. I also purchased the factory NOCO cases for all three to protect my investment as these are not inexpensive.

Buy one and you will not regret it. They are a great value.

Great value! Never let me down! 3 years now, mostly in Alaska use for everything! Mine is NOCO GB-150 Absolutely amazing! Tremendous power. I have jumped 4 vehicles on one charge and it still showed full charge! One was a big diesel truck that was dead! Dead dead.

Over the road truck! I also use it for filling tires(separate unit plugged into this) camping, hooking up to lights,charge my phone, fill pool and lake floats. I also hook up to an inverter to power my cpap overnight.

I used to buy those jumper battery,compressor, light types. They ALWAYS let me down within a year or two. The on board compressors were junk and would fail after a few uses. Seems they also failed consistently in cold weather.

I NEVER got more than 2 years out of these expensive The lithium Ion batteries seem to be much more resistant to failure in the cold. I live north almost to Canada, have had this unit about 3 years now.

These batteries are the same type used like Toyota Prius use that last 20+ years.

Best jump pack I ever seen! Will jump anything you put it on. used on tractors, cars, antique cars, equipment. never once hesitated to start anything. even used it many times before recharging. unbelievable power.

My 69 camaro used to take 2 jump packs and an electric battery charger/boost starter all hooked up at the same time and it would barely turn over when the battery was dead. This pack starts it like nothing.

Doesnt even hesitate a little. very impressed.

The first time I had to use this to jumpstart my car I found out the short cables are barely long enough to make contact. My car has a ground pole welded to the frame, most cars you just clip the black anywhere on the frame.

Mine is a hybrid so I wanted to be careful and use what the manufacturer recommended. I wish I had checked that reach within the return period because this would have gotten returned for that reason alone.

The little blue molex connector on the jump starter side of the cable refused to come out when I was done with it and as I was pulling the cable out of the battery pack the blue connector started sliding off the cable.

Poor design! I give this three stars because despite it’s shortcomings it managed to get me out of a jam and for that I am grateful.

I use this not to jumpstart a car, but as a 12V portable rechargeable battery pack for music production equipment. As the battery drains the delivered voltage never seems to drop below 10. 5V – which is enough to power any synthesizer or drum machine that has an internal regulator which drops the 12V down to 9.

So that’s actually a lot of devices that this can potentially power – like the Elektron Digitakt, most Korg Electribe units, etc. So I get about 5-6 hours with my Yamaha RM1X or about 4 hours with a Korg Electribe EMX1.

You’ll want to solder in a fuse in series with your cable, though. There’s no rated output on the DC output plug so I assume it’s not really fused, though those DC out jacks aren’t rated above 10A. The Scosche unit just works – one doesn’t have to press any buttons or whatnot.

The DC output is always live. A lot of cheaper battery packs or car jumpstart solutions have the alligator clips to hook up to batteries but lack the ease of the DC output (5. 5 x 2. 1mm). This unit in general feels very solid.

Oh – and it can power your phone, too.

Unfortunately (meaning – low battery on our car) we had to use the Jump Starter the next day after we bought this unit. Did not have a chance to charge the unit before needing to use it. It worked like a champ.

Followed the connection instructions, turned the key on the car and it turned over and started. Happy Day!!! I honestly think that everybody should have one of these. Along with the ability to jump your own car in an emergency, you can assist someone else without putting the electrical system of your own car at risk.

Years ago, before cars had all the electronics on them, there was little risk in using jumper cables to start another car. But with today’s cars, using jumper cables from one car to another puts you at risk in blowing the onboard computers of your car or the other person’s.

Using a jump starter like this is preferable. Even AAA uses them.

We purchased this for my teenage son as a present. He tends to drive older vehicles that require a bit more attention than newer cars. We have used it more than once after leaving something on in the vehicles overnight, and they started every time.

We also have used it to start vehicles that have sat for a long period of time without issue. My daughter even left it connected to drive a car with a defunct battery and bad alternator from the back yard up to our garage to be worked on.

Our son just went off to college and made sure to bring this important tool with him. It has not let us down.

So this box was awesome it helped as a power supply many times it worked with a small power converter. I had a warranty. When My USB port was messed up they took and exchanged it for a new one in a box off the floor.

Was so relieved I purchased the warranty too. It hasn’t let me down. Does take a few hours to fully charge. It holds charge good. the light is very bright and gives a good range of visibility. If you don’t have one get one.

I wish it had a tire air compressor but over all very satisfied with my purchase of less than $200. Warranty is so worth the extra money.

After leaving the grocery store with fresh seafood and ice cream, I was unable to start my car. After several failed attempts to crank over, it was clear to me the battery did not have enough voltage to turn the car over.

Called roadside assistance and they ran diagnostics over the air and confirmed extreme low voltage battery and dispatched a service technician to my location. After waiting an hour without any sign of the service tech, I walked a mile to an AUTOZONE and picked up this unit.

The agent informed me that it would need to be charged before use, but also stated it may have 10-20% charge on it right out of the box. I decided to test my luck and pull the trigger on the unit. Walked back to my car, followed the jump start instructions and like magic my car started immediately.

Great product! I used a 750 W pack to jump start my friends’ truck two times and I haven’t charged it at all. I used the energy already stored in the device since I bought it. I would definitely recommend.

Although a minus to this is that the jumper cables are real short and you do need to have it pretty close to the battery. It also does weigh a good amount, but I would still definitely recommend.

I am very happy with my purchase of Duracell – 900 amp portable jump starter. The work light is very bright and I love that you don’t have to plug in in to inflate tires. I also love the USB charging port.

I haven’t had to use the jump starter yet but am confident that it will start my car if needed.

This was the best purchase I could have made. I have used it multiple times over the summer, especially for starting up the battery in our boat. We’ve also used the light, the usb, and the air compressor.

Although that isn’t as strong as I would like. Either way, best decision we could have made. We always take it camping, and I also keep it in my car.

Love this jump pack/charger. I initially had an issue however the warranty process was so easy. It could have been user error and I will never know. They took care of it and also sent me a cool bag to put it in! Excellent customer support and fast as well! Used it once and it does exactly what it was advertised to do.

Exceptional rugged quality for an alpine Loop Trail, backcountry gear hauling super geek! When you are in places most people are not then this gadget is a must. Get stuck and die or get stuck and buck the heck on!.

I’ve used power packs before and smaller boosters, but chose The Noco GBX55 for its starting capacity and dead battery recovery. Only a couple if weeks in and I’ve started three cars all with completely flat batteries of one charge, amazing! I use a NOCO battery charger as well, which can do deep cycle recovery of old batteries.

Would highly recommend this.

IšverstiShow in original languageAssists I starting diesel equipment for business in single digit cold. Skid steers, dump trucks etc all crank much easier with this powerful jump starter. After replacing two starters and a few other electrical items I am sure they constant cranking and erratic power supply has been the culprit during this cold spell.

Also of note is the jump starter recharges rapidly. The only con I think of is the cheesy recharge cord that does not have a stowage place on jump start body. I am sure I/ employee will lose this sooner rather than later.

Oh, yes it is heavy but if you want the lower you need to accept that with any jump start.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this as a backup. Jumper cables can sometimes be a pain in the ass. You gotta find someone willing to stop and give you a jump. That said, I’ve only used this once.

I charged it to 100% on purchase and put it in the garage. A couple weeks later, the battery on my son’s truck (’11 Chevy Silverado 1500) was dead. He grabbed the jump box and it started like he had a brand new battery.

After that, I checked the charge status and it was at 95%. The manual says to recharge after every use. But, I’d say with a full charge, this jump box would be good for 5 or 6 cycles before needing recharged.

Very happy with this purchase. Would highly recommend.

If I ‘m in a rush and I don’t have time to waste playing Goldilocks with the jump boxes, graduating up from small To large , I go straight for the big boy.

if it’s a truck or a big v8 or something I know has remote terminals instead of direct battery terminal access I just go straight to big red. It’s started super charged , twin turbo , poor ground , tiny terminals.

evrerything. I haven’t done a semi and for those and winter I’ll likely be graduating to a 10 k amp lithium ion beast of a jump box. But for the money this is the baddest thing out. The short cables are the only negative.

I realizethat at this power and the 2 guage instead of 0 guage the shorter cables will have less of a loss due to resistance but that means you have to lift the thing onto the customers car. Fine for me but everybody doesn’t live in the gym.

I got the 500 Cranking Amp Jump Starter for emergencies and about a week after I received it the battery in my Daughter’s car died. The unit was really easy to use and comes with simple instructions to follow.

It is portable so I was able to take it out to the street where her car was parked and within a matter of minutes the car started right up. I was very impressed with the convince and functionality. I was so glad that we got this product when we did as it came in handy right away.

I’m definitely going to take this with us in our RV just in case. It is somewhat heavy but I was able to lift it and carry it down the street with ease. Overall, this is a great quality product and most definitely a life saver.

This thing is great! It is super easy to charge (you can even charge on the go in the car while on your way to your friend who’s in trouble, needing the jump), it holds a long battery charge, is simple to use, the handles are built with quality, and it has a digital display to show the battery Charge % and battery voltage.

This is probably more than your small, average jump starter but it is powerful, the charge lasts, and is extremely well made and reliable. 1000 cranking amps, 350 cold cranking amps, 4 AWG cable, high output AGM battery, and the 12V DC outlet on the back.

A little heavy but good handle for carrying/lifting. Highly recommend!.

Amazing piece of equipment! I plugged in the battery charger to get it working and was fully charged in a short amount of time. Once usable it provided an enormous source of power to get my ride on mower started.

Fast efficient and lots of power left for any other job. It can also be used to charge a phone which is quite good. If your power goes out this seems to be a good piece of equipment to have. 500 amps is a lot of amps to have at your disposal.

Definitely good for car batteries as well. Just awesome.
