20 Best Heating Pad For Cats (2023 Updated)

My goodness I purchased two regular size self heating pads and the cats loved them. So I went and purchased two additional self heating pads for our new adopted feral family outside. Of course winter is here so we also purchased those tent like heated houses for the ferals.

We now have three of those and they love them and keep them warm. We spoil our pets and love them dearly. We would not go to any other store but Chewy’s you have the best products, great customer service and quick deliveries.

Thank you for making our now seven cats very happy! And if their happy we’re happy!!!!!!! Oh we also have over 20 deer here on the property and come and go freely everyday. Boy can they eat. love their deer corn.

We have two chihuahuas and they’re always cold. I purchased two a couple of months ago and they love them. One is on the small ottoman in front of the fireplace, the second is in their stroller. I regularly check their ears to see if they are cold.

Both are a lot warmer with the beds, often toasty. They are easy to wash. they do make a very quiet crunching sound (nothing like the cheap ones) and my picky puppies don’t mind. I just ordered two more for the bedroom and the other ottoman.

Love these, recommend them for small – medium dogs, cats and other small pets.

I was very disappointed with the Feline Pine Clumping litter. I have been using this for years and telling everyone how great it is {was}. Once between all the great ones we did have one that looked,felt ,was sort of oily.

Still we plod on. And back to normal until we got the last order. It is like sending my cat to a gravel pit. It is so unlike The Feline Pine , that I opened the second 13 Lb bag hoping it wasback to what I liked so much.

NO , still like a gravel pit to me and barely clumps. Hope my third bag {in a month }will not be the same stuff when I open the bag. I will not pick a recommendation until the next order comes and Feline Pine clumping deserves the 9 I would have given.

I will give a 10 for the new fur mats. She loves them.

I have bought other warmers but this is the very best one I have ever gotten. It heats up quickly and maintains the same temperature. If anyone lives in a cold climate and has stray animals in need of warmth, this is perfect.

It fits into the houses they sell. It gives me peace of mind at night knowing a stray animal can have warmth. if you have an older animal that craves warmth, it is great for indoors.

I purchased this for a stray outdoor cat I take care of. I have a cat bed with a blanket in the bed, and then the covered heating pad on top. As instructions state, nothing goes on top of the covered heating pad.

I have this plugged in outdoors with the bed under our stairs that lead to the patio out of our house, and so far its worked great. I see Miss Ellie in the bed at night, and in the morning both times when I go out to feed her, so she uses it, which made it all worthwhile.

My cat absolutely loves this heating pad. I have placed it in his cat house. It warmed up within minutes of plugging in. Colorado winters are cold here, but my cat stays perfectly warm and cozy in his cat house with the help of this heating pad.

I covered it with a small blanket to make it more comfy.

I will start by saying I live in the mountains of western NC, near the TN border. The temperature is mild compared to lots of other locations. We get below freezing most every night and can hit below zero.

it’s happened before quite frequently! But I do live in a “temperate” climate. I have 2 male dogs, beagle and Czech working line german Shepard, and 1 big fat old Male cat. All spoiled indoor animals that only get cold to go to the bathroom or by choice, lol.

One night a small female cat showed up at our back door. She was thin but not starved, and she was very friendly. She had fleas and was missing some patches of fur( we found it was caused by her biting at the fleas).

We estimate her to be atleast 6 months old, but dont know. We gave her flea medicine, dewormer and have been bvb giving her lysine to clear up her crusty eyes and runny nose. We built her a shelter we found online.

A large rubbermaid container with a slightly smaller styrofoam cooler inside, stuffed in between with insulation and the inner chamber(the inside of the styrofoam cooler) is loaded with blankets we keep changed out clean and dry.

She was very friendly right away and gladly accepted our help. Within a few days she looked better and was becoming our little outdoor buddy. We have been looking for herpossible owner with no luck yet.

We are afraid she was abandoned or born to an indoor cat, who went inside for winter without her. Either way, it looks as though she will become our outdoor cat. We dont mind and have plenty of land and sheds etc for her to patrol for mice as she pleases.

She is scheduled for the vet ASAP, for anyone who may worry. We arent going to let her have any kittens and we know that we cant tell all her possible problems. We are just doing the best we can. Back to the review.

The shelter keeps her warm on body heat alone it seems down to about 40 degrees. We have tested the temp and it is around 76 degrees inside the box with 40 degrees out side. We started getting some cold nights, 25, 20, 16! She was cold, sheltered but cold.

We hooked up a ceramic heating lamp for a lizard outside the shelter and I put a 40 minute electric heating pad underneath. She was warm again! Though this was no permanent solution. I looked to the web and found the snugglesafe.

I searched for a way to get around buying this brand name(expensive), but it seemed worth it. I only needed one and to warm the cat for $40 all winter on zero connected electricity was worth a shot. First night we got the “puck” was a warm night.

I heated the disc for the time suggested (4mins in my case)and let it sit for 1 minute. I replaced the cover and set it next to me on the couch to test it. It did as advertised. Gently heated up for a few hours and then very SLOWLY cooled back to room temp.

When I got up in the morning, it was still warm and the whole couch cushion was too! Never was it too hot in my opinion. Since then, we’ve had some cold nights. Rainy, snowy cold nights. We used the snugglesafe in the cat shelter and she loved it! I loved it because it kept her house between 78-74 overnight on an 18 degree night.

She was snug as a bug in a rug. The item is easy to use. It works as it’s supposed to. And takes very little electricity to provide a lot of warmth. Just 4 minutes in the microwave lasts all night and more!I would buy another if needed, and have already recommended them to several other outdoor pet owners I know.

Great for indoor animals too. I caught all of my spoiled boys laying on it at some point the first “test” night, lol. The disc is hard, but the removable cover is soft and the animals dont seem to mind it at all.

It can also be placed under a pet bed or between blankets etc. But my animals seem to prefer to have just the cover on. The disc looks to be washable, and the cover definitely is. I dont usually write reviews, but this product needs one.

It was kind of expensive(to me anyway) but after the purchase I am happy. I feel the item will last through the winter and beyond. It works as is advertised. And it is doing a great job in helping rehabilitating this beautiful little girl.

If you need to keep your pet warm, or just want to give them something to snuggle, I highly recommend this product. If your outdoor animals sleep outside all year long, pay attention and keep them warm! One of these in even a large dog house would make a huge difference on a cold night, I personally guarantee it.

I would donate one to every cold animal if I could. I honestly stand behind this product. I wouldnt mind to have one at some points when I’m outdoors in the cold, lol. Reviews led me to make my purchase, I hope my review helps the cause as well.

I have four semi-feral cats residing in my unfinished basement. The temperature gets down to 45 degrees F in January and February. I gave each cat a covered bed and each bed gets a heated Snugglesafe wrapped in a fleece blanket every night at around 10:00 PM.

The cats absolutely LOVE these warming disks! They provide just the right gentle warmth to keep my cats calm and comfortable through the night. I don’t have to worry about electrical cords or extension cords or fire hazards, and as incredible as it sounds, often when I go down to the basement in the morning to feed the cats, they’re still in their beds and the beds are still warm.

I even picked up a tiny microwave oven for warming the disks so I don’t have to run up and down the stairs. These gadgets have solved a real problem for me and I’m very pleased. They don’t wear out, they don’t get beat up or nasty, they’re indestructible, and they’re safe.

It works as it should, installing was super easy. This even came in the mail three days early, which took me by surprise. The screen’s quality is superb, in fact, it’s pretty much identical to the original.

(I don’t know if this is an official screen by Nintendo or not, but if it is third party, it’s amazing. There’s pretty much no difference in quality. ) Now, if you install the screen, and you turn on the DS to find the screen has a pink tint and all the colours are oversaturated, chances are that this is not the screen’s fault.

This happened to me the first time, and I managed to fix it by reconnecting one of the ribbon cables as it wasn’t in all the way. Whoops. I was 100% satisfied with the results, and I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for one thing.

There is no adhesive. The original screen has a thin black adhesive which keeps it in plane and stops it from moving around too much. Even with the spacer put in place, this screen did tend to wobble as there was no adhesive at all.

I did manage to solve this, however, simply by making my own with a few VERY small pieces of double-sided tape. This stops the screen from wobbling inside the unit. 4/5 Stars.

Ok, so PJ has his bed, now the other two needed something. I got these two mats and they are perfect. When I read about the Milar layer inside,I was a little hesitant, due to the crinkle factor. So as soon as they arrived I got them out and began bending them this way and that.

There was just the slightest sound. Less than a plastic bag, and my cats walk on the bag I keep my yarn in all the time. Well, nothing like a trial run. The big one is huge so I put that one at the foot of my bed.

Drew likes to lay on the floor in front of the heat vent and although the floor there gets warm, it’s that fake wood stuff and Drew is getting up in years so I wanted something soft for him to lay on.

I just slid my hand between the matt and Morgan’s hip and it is warm. So if you live in a cold climate like I do, why not keep your fur babies warm on a couple of these soft mats. And there are two in a pack, not bad for the price.

I have two sets of cats. Indoor and garden cats (that I haven’t gotten to come inside yet). It has been getting cold and I wanted to stock up for my outdoor cats garage bedding. They have self warming beds already but I wanted their sleep containers to be extra snuggly so I went searching for more self heating bedding.

These new ones (to us) aren’t as crinkly sounding, which was very appealing to my indoor cats with special needs, hence they stole them before they got to my outdoor cats. Two sizes come in this package.

The small is acceptable for a kitten sized cat or to line a cat carrier (or a desperate to be warm chubby indoor cat). The larger small was more what I was looking for to have more coverage to hit the sides of a medium cat carrier (make shift cat house for sleeping).

A great price for one, but even a better price for two.

I have about 2 of these over the years and any pet either my dogs or cats all sizes and ages absolutely adores this and most times when friends come over with their 4 legged pet they automatically go right to this and sure enough puts up a fight to leave and claims it as theirs! Farm Innovators heated per mat HM-60S works as advertised. I placed it inside a home built outdoor insulated pet shelter and our “outdoor cat” aged 18 months loves it. While this shelter minus the heated pet mat got him through the last winter he simply loves the warmth supplied by the heated pet mat.

I believe the heated pet mat will help him to stay healthy.

My cat is inside at night but I let him out for a few hours in the daytime. I put this heating mat in a carrier on the front porch with the soft cover that comes with it. The carrier shelters him from wind or rain and the heating pad is wonderful when the weather is cold.

He goes in to warm up then goes out to play a little. At 60 watts it doesn’t use much electricity so I highly recommend it. The mat itself is a little expensive–especially for the larger ones.

It’s barely warm to the touch. Chewy had this out the next morning. So awesome! Been nurturing this mistreated feral cat for a year now. She has a bad nasal infection or something. Shes had blood and mucus coming out of her nose.

Last week her hair started falling out. There is no way we can catch her. She will go into an insulated box I set up for her but if she hears us she bolts. I put the box inside a huge, decompression storage bag to keep the box dry.

This warmer fit inside. She has barely come out of the box since I set it up. I’m so happy to give this poor little kitty some comfort. She gets all the kitty food she can eat, blue buffalo wet food on cold nights and endless fresh water.

I provide food and shelter for the stray cats in my neighborhood. I am especially fond of one barely socialized elderly cat I call Grandpa. When a winter storm moved into my area quickly I scrambled to prepare.

I called Chewy and explained my urgent need. They got this outdoor warming pad to me in two days! They really care about animals! Anyway old grandpa loves it and spends the cold nights and days in his shelter on his warming pad.

These are safe and work great.

This has been one of the best purchases I have made at Chewy. It allowed me to go to the next level with the stray kittens I’ve been working with. This bed keeps them close to my house where I can care for them.

Of the five kittens born outside only two remain and I am doing my best to rehabilitate these babies to eventually live inside or as a hybrid indoor/outdoor cats someday and this mat has made all the difference in that pursuit.

It took a few weeks for them to take to it because they didn’t like that I added a blanket. So now the bed is in an unobstructed box on my covered porch. Once I threw cat treats in there they finally entered.

I like that this heating pad gets warm, but not too warm for animals. It has two settings that are adjusted to a pet’s body temperature. I also like that it is waterproof and I feel more confident about the safety of this product over using a heating pad designed for humans with my cat.

The cover is also water resistant and padded for comfort. As much as I like this, my elderly cat still won’t sleep on it, but I will keep trying it.

I really like these. I bought 2, I have 4 small poodles. The pads on high do not get very hot, just a nice warm, and warmer if they are laying on it to keep the coil closer to the pad surface. Made of a washable/wipeable surface and good connection to the cord that is bolted.

Maybe if you have a dog that is prone to chew a lot, this wouldn’t be ideal of course. But our middle aged dogs love the warmth.

Cats love warm spots. Thus, my cats love the Pet Genius Heated Pet Pad. The medium size is a good size but my cats do not want to share it. I love that the cover is completely removeable and machine washable.

The both sides are a super soft fleece like material. The heating pad provides nice cushion as well as heat that can be set to low or high. My cats hare happy to lounge on it all day. They love to fully spread out of this heated pet pad/bed.

I’m going to have to get a second so they don’t fight over this one.

Both of my kitties LOVE their new heated pet bed! I have a geriatric cat who suffers from joint pain and she was immediately interested in the warmth of the bed. She took a nice long, stretched out, cat nap.

I have an older dog so she loves heat. This heating pad is great for her. She’s big but the smaller pad works great for her. She loves to lay outside in the fall at night, so now that she has a heating pad, she can stay outside later.

I bought this for a stray cat who has taken up residence in my granddaughters little play house in the garden. Ive made it rainproof but I wasnt happy with just having cushions etc in it as the weather has been so cold.

I saw this online and thought it would be ideal. Somebody I know had one for her cat and told me they were very good and did the job that was advertised, so I am very pleased with the product. More to the point the cat seems to be very happy with it which is the most important thing.

Bought this for my new puppy to keep him warm at night so he sleeps better. It’s soft, snuggly and definitely warming. My only issue is that the heat reflective inner gets scrunched up inside the fleece cover too easily when he roots around trying to get comfortable.

Chose this for a border collie who absolutely hates being indoors. She already has an insulated kennel in a garage with a heat-reflecting mat but this is the absolute best purchase yet. Not the biggest mat but if the animal wants to lie in luxurious warmth then this is enough for a medium sized dog.

It emits a low but constant heat which the dog absorbs into her body – much like under floor heating does for human feet. She absolutely loves it – and we know this because given the option this dog will lie outside the kennel, but not any more.

I would strongly recommend this to a convalescing animal or an outdoor pet. We fed the cable in through the back of a kennel or under a mat. I queried safety with customer services and felt very reassured.

Plus we have circuit breakers and modern electrics.

The heat mat has been fabulous, the heat is adequate and you can be assured that it is safe without overheating. To begin with it heated slowly, enough to think it was faulty, but after rolling it up the heat was finally generated.

Nevertheless, the mat does seem to be weight activated and considering I got this for my Pygmy hedgehog maybe isn’t the most appropriate considering he is very light. However, we have gotten round the problem by placing certain things within his pen on it so there is enough weight.

The size was also a lot smaller than I thought it may be (I ordered small) so for animals bigger than a hedgehog look at the sizes carefully. In conclusion, the product is great at heating up our wee hedgie on these cold winter nights especially as he is meant to be kept at 21-25 degrees so it’s a great help!.

My cat has CKD and has lost some weight recently due to her condition. Therefore she is always cold, she even sits on the radiator. Ive tried radiator cat beds, blankets that radiate her body heat however these have failed as they didnt give her enough heat or caught her interest.

But I discovered Pet Remedy Heat pad. best money I’ve spent and she just loves it, cannot get her off it ! It really heats up when she sits on it covered with a blanket. Its great when am not in as she has heat all the time especially when my central heating is not switched on.

As Vinvin’s owner, I can report he turned out not to be interested in any type of heating pad at all, so he declines to offer an opinion on this specific one. However, I have claimed them for myself and slide them under my covers before I go to sleep so I get into a toasty bed.

I have several hard discs I can compare this to. The two I bought a number of years ago were from a company that no longer seems to exist. They’re pink, and they heat to perfect temperature in 3 minutes 45 seconds, and are still warm 8+ hours later! The hard disc from Arf Pets, which you can find on Chewy, lasts longer than this squishy one, but nowhere near as long as the older discs.

This squishy one is comfortable for leaning against, which probably is more comfortable for a bunny, but I also would hesitate to let a bunny sit on this, as they’re prone to chewing on anything and everything.

For any animal that really likes to chew, I’d recommend the Arf Pets over this one. For a pet that doesn’t chew, or to slide behind your own back after shoveling snow (lol), I’d recommend this.

There are 3 animals in our household and 4 K&H pet heaters of different types! This is my second microwaveable warmer; the first is still in use and has held up to a year of hard wear (being folded over and hardening that way).

They’re perfect for at night/ when you need to leave your pet unattended and don’t want to burn the house down with a space heater. These pads are soft and squishy, unlike the hard plastic snugglesafe ones.

I have 2 arthritic birds who use these as water beds on cold nights. Prolonged cold puts a strain on animals’ health just the same as it does humans. These stay warm for maybe 6 hours, so there is a lot of microwaving that goes on.

Be sure to put a towel or cloth between this and your pet.

With proper care, this product will last and they are safe – no elec. plug-ins required. I only re-order to have extras on-hand, not because they become defective or wear out. I rotate them which adds to their longevity.

During the winter time my cats love a heating pad. I always put out my human heating pad that has 4 settings (from low 1 to high 4). I wanted a heating pad designed for cats, so I bought this mat in green.

Unfortunately, Katniss still prefers the human heating pad. This product doesn’t get warm enough. It is destined to feel warm after sitting on it for at least 20 minutes. That’s not how my cats are drawn to snuggling on surfaces.

This product is not warm to the touch when you plug it in and There are no settings to increase heat. The quality itself of the product is nice, I’m not disappointed in the production. Side by side, my cats prefer the human heating pad because it is warmer immediately.

They investigate the cat pad but almost never prefer it. I don’t recommend because it isn’t warm enough immediately and my cats don’t use it.

The heated cat beds are amazing. This is my second purchase of heTed cat beds. I had purchased 2 before. We have 5 csts and they love the warmth and softness id the beds. We 5 indoor cats. We live in northern California in Lake County and pretty chilly winters.

We turn the house temperature thermostat down to 60-65. Now each cat has their own heating pad and when we go to bed they head for their beds. They stay on them day and night except for playing and feeding.

I would highly recommend this product. Previously moving to our ranch 3 of our cats were outdoor ferals we took in and when outside we had covered areas for them and put their heated cat beds under a blanket for them and they stayed warm and cozy in their shelter from the rain and cold.

I bought this because I have a big fat snowshoe cat who seems to be part lizard. He loves anything warm: heater vents, heating pads, laps, other cats, anything. I didn’t feel secure having my medical heating pad plugged in all the time so I bought him this.

He loves it. Before I even got it heated up the first time he was already making biscuits on it and started his 2nd breakfast nap (part hobbit I guess too) but he loves it. I haven’t noticed my power bill going up significantly and anyway it’s a small price to pay for our not-so-wee beastie to be warm.

I was recommended something like this by a friend. Found this on eBay and thought it was a good buy. Got it for our dog for the colder months as she stays in the kitchen in her box. It does what it says and stays warm for a long time.

Used it last night in the bed as the dog was a bit poorly, she had a good nights sleep and full of energy today. The disc was still warm after a nights use. It does get very hot and needs a cover to prevent burns.

I left the cover on instead of just leaving it under a blanket as the dog moves the covers in the night. I would recommend this.

Rock hard & uncomfortable, my dog laid everywhere else except on this heat pad. Thought it would be a little flexible, but it’s hard like a thick heavy frisby! Thought it would be like a dog summer chill pad but warm version or like a microwave beany.

Don’t waste your money!.

Does stay warm for the advertised time and instructions are easy to follow. Neat device and the cover could easily be washed if necessary. My cat is suspicious as the device is hard and her bed is not soft like she is used to but I will persevere and see how things go.

She is old and very set in her ways.

I bought this to help an older dog stay warm in a residential garage overnight. I was concerned how it would hold up against dog urine accidents, and it didn’t disappoint. I didn’t understand why they recommended only the wool cover it comes with until it became clear this thing activates with very little weight on top.

A tennis ball is enough pressure to turn it on. It gets warm even in 30 degree weather on top of concrete. I wish there was a way to add cushion to it, but it works great to generate heat. My cats prefer this mat over the warm car hood in the garage now as well.

Another note is that it is made of a hard plastic. This makes it pretty durable against moisture and dirt. But I could see it breaking if a pebble was under it, or if I accidentally stepped on it. I don’t see it having any issues with my animals though.

I would definitely recommend for use in a hard bottomed dog house, or for rabbits, or even smaller animals like guinea pigs.

Purchased this mat to replace a Hound Heater furnace. That heater made too much noise so our lab would lay outside her house in the cold and stare at the heater. The heated mat is perfectly quiet and she happily curls up in her heated house.

bought a couple of these for the feral cats and these are great on energy use and the ferals love them. i had a couple of milkhouse heaters in the past but these are safer and use less energy

A shivering starving pitiful pup, about 6 months old, showed up on our porch. Given that we have 4 large dogs living in the house, my husband said she would have to live outside. We bought a medium sized igloo type dog house.

We put a bunch of old towels in it, and my husband put heavy moving blankets on the outside. Then he asked about a heating pad. When I was hunting online for where I could get the doghouse, I saw that these heated pads for igloo dog houses existed, so I ordered one.

That sweet little dog would hardly leave her toasty new home! The cord is wrapped in a metal coil to decrease chewing, and so while she chewed every other cord she could find, she didn’t do this one.

One time she tugged on the cover and pulled the whole pad into the door but it got stuck there so she couldn’t wreak more havoc. This worked well! Of course, she now lives in the house with us and her 4 new siblings!.

I was looking for a smaller heating unit for a barn cat that continues to park on our porch. We needed a small heater board with protection from the elements for the days she wants to be looking in our house windows.

Turned a cooler on its side, took the cooler lid off, placed the heater inside and covered the cooler with a heavy wind proof blanket. She now has a protected space both on our deck and in the barn. Everyone is happy.

The “plus” is she can move off of heater surface because it does not fill the entire cooler space. Only wish it would be “okay” to make it a softer surface for her.

I bought this warming pad for use on my back porch, which is exposed to the wind and cold, for the feral cat that has taken up residence there (because of course I’ve been leaving kibble for him). It is a plastic half moon disc-type item covered by a thin-ish fake sheep skin material (attached by elastic cord) with an approx 6 foot cord wrapped in sturdy wire – so exactly as described.

It warmed up in about 10 minutes or so and was nicely warm through the covering material (now makes sense why material is thin-ish – so heat can get through to animal). I would not put additional material for cushioning because I’m sure it would diminish the heat transfer.

It was on the porch for 2 weeks (and plugged in the whole time) right next to where he normally sleeps, his head was next to the heated surface, then a few days later he positioned himself so just his head was on the warm surface and FINALLY this week he moved fully over to the warm surface from the cushioned area he previously rested on! I didn’t put food or cat nip near it to draw his attention to it but know from a lifetime with cats that they can sense the warmest spot in the area and will home in on it eventually.

Now this feral cat spends almost all his day on this heated disc and the only thing that gets him to move off is when I open the door to replenish food which sends him running off into the woods but about 5 minutes later he comes back to eat and then settles right back down on the heated surface.

I no longer worry that it is not soft enough for him because it is the heat that is he needs and wants! BUY THIS PRODUCT WITH CONFIDENCE! I’m not sure the impact on the electric bill but I think it will be minimal.

I’m very satisfied with this heated pad.

I am not a feral, and I am NOT a rabbit, and I am twice the size of this hard plastic thingy, but my mom got this for me anyway a long time ago when the cabin & floor were so cold on my paws & when most all comfy heated feline beds were sold out on her iPad thingy.

All she could find was this little hard piece of plastic. When she first put this plastic thingy on top one of my favorite places to hangout & sleep I was thought she was out of her mind. First of all, I am not a rabbit! Secondly, I am what is called an indoor feline, and I have my own thick coat of fur, but kittie-o-kittie this plastic thingy gets so warm.

Paws on the Bible, I have to tell you,. my favorite place in the entire house is on top of this warm plastic thingy. Yes, I know, the back of the chair that lays flat, next to the window is a pretty cool place to look at the little feathered animals that dart about in the air and in the trees, and next to my mom when it is dark outside & she is lays still & closes her eyes – is indeed a warm & comfy place to be, BUT on this hard plastic thingy is my most favorite place of all paces to hangout.

When it is light, or dark, hot or cold, I hangout on this warm spot all the time. I see my mommy is on her iPad thingy looking at a larger version of my warm rabbit bed thingy. This, treats are more are in this thing called a cart.

I love my mommy;).

I bought this heated pad because I feed the homeless cats in my rural neighborhood and don’t want them to have nowhere warm in the Winter to sleep or nap. Some of them refuse to come inside my house, but I want to be sure they have warmth when they need it.

So I took the door off my largest carrier, put it on my front porch & placed blankets in it along with this pad. It doesn’t feel very comfortable to me. I’m not a cat, though, so I can’t say what they prefer.

I have an outdoor outlet on my front porch so I plug it in there and at least one cat takes up residence there most of the Winter. They seem to like it. I just wish the cord was a bit longer, because I only own one suitable indoor/outdoor extension cord; they aren’t cheap.

Overall, it does the job I got it for – it keeps homeless cats warm if they want to stay in there after finishing a meal or overnight or whatever. I just am not 100% sure they find it comfortable, and I wish the cord was a bit longer.

Bought this for the stray/ferral cat that adopted us this past summer. Made him one of the rubbermaid houses, insulated it with styroboard, and put in one of these heating pads. He use to be a roamer at night, but now we find him sleeping in his house most nights and always napping in it during the day.

He seems quite comfy even when temps are single digits and lower. We find him sleeping on top of his house when temps are 20’s -30’s as I think he probably gets too warm. The pad barely feels warm to the touch when I check it, but if I check it right after he gets off, it feels toasty.

I have an outdoor kennel where my hunting dogs stay. I have a building where the dog houses are. Put he pet warmer pads in and they are cozy all night. Wish I had known about these things years ago!!! The quality of this product surpassed my expectations by a lot!!.

I bought a soft mat heating pad that my dogs ripped apart in 2 days. I found this one and thought I’d give it a shot. Worked really well in an insulated dog house. My GSP loves it. They haven’t chewed it up either.

Probably getting another one for a back up.

Well made. I like how they stitched the mats so when they are washed, the interior insulated layers will stay flat & not bunch up inside. (other mats have done that. ) I bought two to line the floor of feral cat shelters in my back yard.

At first the bold leopard print made the cats wary of laying on them, but after a day they started to sleep on them. Once they found out they were warmer they did not hesitate to use them all the time now.

They seem warmer.

as with all new things that my kids get they love it for a week or so. You can get 4 cats on the mat if they are willing to share otherwise only one. At the moment they don’t like any mats but my kids are very picky.

The one likes laying in the cardboard recycling bin and most like the delivery boxes at the moment. I am happy I got the mat as some of the pride is older and I believe it helps them ease some winter pains.

Just got this a few weeks ago and my cat loves it. She is getting old & I noticed that she was also getting cold. I like that there is no electrical connection and relies on natural know how to offer warmth.

The first day, she only got off it to eat & use kitty litter. Now she does other things too, thank goodness. But it is her go too place for comfort.

This window perch works just fine, and is as easy to install as advertised. My two 12-pounds cats can share it for bird watching, although the size and lack of raised edges mean they’re less likely to try sleeping together on it (they dislike falling off things).

When one tries to turn around, the other has to get up and accommodate him, or get pushed off – so it’s probably better sized for just one cat to lounge on. That said, I’m really disappointed in the quality.

The whole thing is cheap plastic, and the leg supports (which look matte and reasonably not-ugly in the photos) are shiny and glaringly plastic. The foam is pretty thin, too, but the cover is just barely too small to allow anything thicker underneath.

In fact, the cover is annoyingly troublesome to put on, since it has zero allowance. Not difficult, mind you, just fidgety in the same way a too-small fitted sheet will pop off a corner when you try to fit the opposite corner.

I had much better quality window perches 10-15 years ago, and wish I’d kept them through my moves. If Chewy had a better quality window perch, I’d return this thing in an instant in exchange for something better.

But this appears to be my best bet for a ledge-attached bed as of this writing, so I’ll keep it and watch for something better to come. I’ll also add a blanket for the cats’ comfort, and so I don’t have to remove the fidgety cover to wash as often.

1st there are no instructions in the package as to how you have to install so I reverted to the instructions here on chewy. 2nd the install instructions state different ways to install, 1 using enclosed suction cups with product.

It also says you need at least a 2 inch window sill for installation. Here’s my issue, 1, there are no suction cups. I only received 1 piece of velcro and 3 nails. Bad product when manufacturer doesn’t take 6 inch marble window sills into consideration.

I purchased commercial velcro & put weights on the outside area where the velcro is, giving it time to stick b4 my cat tries to lay in it. I waited 48 hours after install b4 letting my 6 lb 14 year old cat lay on it.

It crashed at the first time she laid on it. Not funny! I have other window hammocks made by this company & my cat loves them. I was trying to give her a window where the sun comes in late afternoon so she can sunbathe.

Won’t happen! I ended up packing it up & donating it to our area shelter. 😪😪.

Let’s start with the goods: my cat loves it! And it’s built pretty solid, which is definitely nice. Neutral: not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve never gotten the electric heater to work. For me that’s fine, that was just a bonus compared against similarly priced options.

Bad: the adhesive on the underside of the velcro that’s supposed to hold it up isn’t great. The whole thing has fallen down of its own accord (read: without a cat on it) a couple times, pretty clearly because the velcro isn’t staying attached to the shelf.

I’m just gonna get some of that hyper-strong stuff next time I’m at a hardware store, because the perch itself makes Lieveke so happy I wouldn’t dream of taking it away from her! Tl;dr: decent, but imo not worth the money at full cost.

If you can’t find a sale, maybe worth getting a cheaper product without electricity – the sun does plenty of work for that!.
