This is a very high quality heater, but you should make sure to check the water temperature with a thermometer when you install it in your tank. My thermometer was running 6 degrees warmer than the dial stated.

So, I had the dial on 78 degrees, but it heated the water to 84 degrees! My betta was swimming erratically from being overheated, and I quickly turned it off and let the water cool back down. The dial is now on 72 degrees, yet the two thermometers in my aquarium both state the temperature is 78.

4 degrees. The best thing to do is to put the heater in the water without the fish in it first to make sure you get the correct temperature without stressing out your fish. The heater does an excellent job of maintaining the water temperature.

I took off one star because it does run warmer than the dial states, but once you know that, and you adjust the dial correctly, it’s a great thermometer.

I have the 200W heater in my 30gal sump for my 75gal display. Brought my tank up to temp quickly and has been working great ever since. I was nervous with shipping. The box was smashed, then the heater box was smashed and finally the plastic ring protecting the glass heater was lightly broken from the impact.

The glass heater was unhurt and works great. Not the fault of BRS for the damage. But if you have aggressive shipping company employees, the heater can take the abuse.

This is my first attempt with a good aquarium heater. The new tank is setup proper with Apex and other goodies so Im trying to do it right. The Heater seems to be well made and it heats the water quickly.

My only gripe is the cord being way too short. I cut the end off and soldered on an extension as I didnt want to use an extension cord to keep things neat and I noticed the Hot wire had some tarnish on the copper whereas the neutral was clean and bright.

This makes me wonder if there is a nick in the wire somewhere. But time will tell at this point.

I like the titanium vs glass so I don’t worry as much about cracking. I have two 300w set up for my 90 gal DT in the sump. The first/primary is hooked up directly to my Apex. The second/backup is set up through an Ink Bird controller then to Apex on a separate EB832 Power Strip.

The first is four years old and still going; it keeps the water temp between 77. 5 and 78. 0 degrees with no problem. The second heater is less than a year old and has had little use as a back up. It’s set to a lower temperature through the Inkbird controller.

Apex Fusion is set to alert me if te backup turns on so I know the primary is failing or has failed.

I purchased the 400W version that includes dual 200W heaters. I bought this product specifically because the heaters were short, and would fit neatly along the back all of my Fiji-20 sump. The packaging is beautiful and thoughtful, so if you’re into creating unboxing videos this should definitely be on your short list.

I replaced an InkBird controller and dual Finnex 300w heaters. Overall, that was a great solution but it was time to replace the heaters (proactively) and I was never really happy that they were just kind of lose in my sump, bouncing off the skimmer.

I LOVE that the Helio is fully invested in magnetic mounts. The heaters and the temp probe are not going anywhere. They’ll stay where I put them and that’s fantastic. I LOVE that the Helio offers “short” heaters like the 200W.

Perfect fitment in my sump and that makes me happy. I LOVE that the Helio uses those round connectors for the probe and heaters instead of normal three-prong plugs. They save on space, seem safer from drips and overspray, and overall easier to manage in tight areas (and space is at a super premium in my cabinet).

They’ll also be easy to swap out when the time comes. The tech/safety they advertise seems great but I have no way to test that. but it all sounds really good. I don’t mind that they don’t have an app.

I use an aquarium controller that has its own temp probe. That will alert me to troubles and I can take emergency action remotely if required. Overall, I found the setup and configuration to be very simple and according to my controller the temp in the tank has remained stable for two days (and we keep our house very cold in the summer, so it’s definitely getting a workout).

I was (at first) concerned about the included velcro strips for mounting. I’ve not had great luck with those in the past. However, whatever substance that is on these strips is SUPER sticky. That controller isn’t going anywhere, and I have the inside of my stand coated with slick Marine SPAR varnish.

My one gripe that keeps it from being 100% perfect is with calibration. My InkBird and Hanna CheckTemp were always in near perfect agreement. within a 10th of a degree of each other. The Helios was off, reading 1 degree higher than the CheckTemp (which I have a lot of confidence in).

No worries, i’ll just use the calibration function! Unfortunately, on the Helios, the calibration works fine. up to. 5 degrees. Once I went just over that, it became wildly inaccurate. Trying to set it to -1 degree to get it in alignment with the CheckTemp, it changed it by -1.

5 degrees instead. It seems like a bug in the code. It’s not a huge deal, I just tried different calibration settings until I got “close enough,” within two tenths of a degree, but it’s a weird problem to have.

Overall, I’m quite happy with it. I put a LOT of thought into heating this tank. and I think the build quality, commitment to magnetic mounts, and options on heater sizes makes Helios tough to beat.

I purchased this Helio PTC 1000w through Marine Depot back in March but didnt set it up until about a month ago in my 242 tank. This is an awesome heater and very well built. Instructions are easy to follow.

It has both low and high temp alarms which function correctly as I played around with them on my apex. I set this up with an EB4 due to amperage requirements. I also had some questions that were not included in the manual.

I called innovative marine and they got back with me pretty quickly. So if you have the same question as Myself here it is; the two 500w heater elements were longer then the outboards of my tideline 48 sump so were both side of the magnets submersible? They are so attached on my baffles.

If you purchase this which I recommend you will not be disappointed.

Quality, size and looks what made this heating element perfect. Except I have the double 200 Watt making it 400 Watt for my 85G Reeftank with 50 Gallon sump. 1 of the 2 heating elements keeps turning off since I installed it 3-4 days ago.

I unplug it and plug it in again on the display/control and it works for about 12-24hours. And it turns itself off again. No green light and no error code. 3 major temp swings from 76 -79 in 3 days. Not good and nothing I can find on this either.

I’ve been running this heater for about 1 month. Offers 2 ways to install. Takes up a small amount of space. Very easy to read display and control temp setting. I have this installed in a 65 gallon Uniquarium and it fits the small heater compartment of the filtration nicely and still be accessible for adjustments, which is the primary reason I purchased this model.

I love the LCD readout for temp and the 3 color code lighting system make it a simple reading with a glance. What keeps me from making this 5 stars is that it isn’t fully submersible. This much wattage is typically better served by having two separate heaters to spread the heating efficiency, but without being fully submersible, this really limits your setup.

For me, this works well due to my aquarium style but I have to have it set on 78 to maintain 75. Also, my tank is acrylic which has a large bonded top which covers up most of the top except the access cutouts.

I could not put this type of heater inside the tank itself. Bottom line, quality heater with good setting interface but make sure it works for your setup.

This is a really nice heater. The temperature is easy to set by flicking a switch, & the new temperature temporarily lights up. The actual tank temperature is always lit up green, & clear to read. It changes colour if the temp raises or drops.

The plastic cover protects the fish from injury. You do need to have the heater in a vertical position where the water flow is good. It’s been running a week now & it is maintaining the temperature. I think I may have to get a second one for the other end of the tank as it’s a 312 litre tank & seems to be slightly cooler the other end.

Overall very pleased.

Purchased this as a backup. We have a 35 gallon cube tetra tank with live plants on the second floor. The second floor is unheated. The “correct” heater can’t keep up with the chill. Popped this one in as an auxiliary heater and the water has been at 78 degrees ever since.

We also have a 185 on the fist floor and sport 2 of these heaters. They real do the job.

I must have got a ‘lemon’. This heater seemed to work for a couple days, then tank got cooler and cooler. I ‘reset’ it several times per the owners manual (unplugging it, letting it rest, and turning it all the way down to the lowest setting before plugging it back in).

I have another Eheim heater that is over 20 years old and is the most reliable aquarium heater I have ever owned in over 30 years of fish keeping. I had another one that was almost as old, but I mishandled it and cracked the glass.

47 years of fish keeping aquariums and ponds. This is the high quality brand of heaters. At one time I had more than 30 of these running. Hard to damage. Just buy new suction cups every few years.

My betta fish lives in a 4 litre glass bowl. Yesterday the weather cooled to below 18 degrees so I decided to try the new water heater. I left it in the tank overnight, to slowly warm the water. This morning, my fish looked very inactive, so I check the water temperature.

It was 33 degrees. So much for its claim to keep the water at just the right temperature. I almost had poached fist. A total waste of money.

So I searched for a couple days trying to find the perfect heater for my betta fish. I had him in a. 7 gal tank (bad idea, don’t do it unless your fish need to be quarantined or adjusted to your pH) and ordered my first heater.

I read a lot of mixed reviews, saying stuff like it isn’t good because you can’t change the temp, or because it isn’t thermostatic, or the temperature fluctuates too much. Quite frankly, those are lies.

At 46F room temp, one heater kept my. 7 gal tank at a steady 80F. Even when the room temp rose to 65F, the tank was still at 80F. When I upgraded to a 1. 5 gal tank, I got a second one, and I’m glad I did.

These say they will keep your tank around 75F(. 5 gal) to 85F( 1. 5 gal), but the fine print says when the room temp is 72F. If it’s going to be colder than that, I’d recommend having two if you have a 1.

5 gal tank, because your betta SHOULD NOT get below 75F. Our power went out for several days and I was able to insulate his tank with blankets, but after 5 days, the tank fell to 68F. My betta became sluggish and started to turn white.

Do not let your betta get too cold. I had nowhere to take mine, but I wish I did. Our whole town was out. Long story short, keep your betta warm, and don’t listen to the dissenters.

The heater itself definitely works in heating the water, unlike some other heaters. However it definitely does not maintain temperature as it advertises. I checked the temperature at 86 degrees which is too high for bettas.

That would essentially cook them slowly. I gave 3 stars because it would work fine with a timer if you were determined enough to figure out the right balance and purchase a timer. However, the product advertises that it maintains temperature on its own, and it does not.

Also the suction cup didn’t work well for me. I agree with others that two suction cups may have been better.

SO disappointed and frustrated. If, like I do, you need a heater which can be placed in a horizontal position, completely under water, this is NOT for you. I wasted money and my precious time ordering this and waiting a week for it to be delivered only to find it is useless for my purposes.

This is why I am a firm believer that, as more and more we gravitate away from brick and mortar stores, Wal-Mart and all online commercial sites should be required to post on every product page a pdf of every instruction sheet/manual as well as CLEAR photos of every side of product packaging.

This does look like a basically sturdy, decent product. Just a shame they couldn’t go the extra mile to add decent seal and make it truly submersible. When I opened the package and read the instructions I was shocked to read: “A.

If the appliance falls into the water, DON’T reach for it! First unplug and retrieve it. If electrical components of the appliance get wet, unplug the appliance immediately. ” (Doesn’t sound very submersible to me!) So glad I took the time to read the instructions.

I could have electrocuted my 52-year old slider turtle! I’ve purchased several submersible heaters through the years for both fish tanks and his pond and never ran into a submersible heater that you couldn’t submerge!! Oh, well.

Back to Square One.

I purchased this Fluval 25W Heater (submersible) for my 5 gallon tank that houses 2 bettas. It has a controllable thermostat, which is the main reason I chose this particular heater. I rated it a 4, due to having to keep checking my tank to ensure it is heating correctly.

I have a thermometer strip on the outside of the tank so I can keep a close eye on the temperature. It seems to stay between 80-82 mostly, and that is setting the dial about mid center. I am having to lower it some during the early part of the day, and set it back to the midway setting in the evening.

I really think I could have done better selecting a lower wattage for the 5 gallon. Fluval ranks pretty high in product durability, so that is another reason I chose Fluval I would buy another one. Dont think I would use it for a 2.

5 gallon. However, tanks that are 5 gallon and above should be fine. A 10W is better for 2. 5 gallon, and the heater is usually set on a 77-78 degree permanent setting, so that eliminates the worry.

What I like about this heater is that it is NOT FULLY submersible as most of the aquarium heaters are today. I wanted a heater that I could adjust without having to submerse my fingers/hands in the water to adjust the temperature.

The second thing I liked is that this heater will allow the water temperature to be set as low at 64 degrees Fahrenheit. This is important as I keep goldfish in my aquarium and they like cooler waters that get no colder than 65 degrees.

I keep my ambient house temperature set no lower than 64 degrees in the wintertime; and, should my heating system fail or we have a polar cold snap, my fishies will be happy and comfy. Our winters in Detroit can be extremely cold – Brrrr! / David Michael Klemmer – Detroit, Michigan.

You can’t submerge it and if that is okay this is a great heater. I have a 10 gallon rimless Lifegard crystal tank. Its stands just over 11 inches tall. With the water at about 1 inch below the rim the fluval drops into the back filter and sticks up above the rim by about 1/4 inch.

This provide easy access to the temperature adjustment knob. I’ve adjusted the temperature to where I want it (read below) and I’ve checked my temperature every day and it is holding steady now. The heater has had no issue bringing my 10gallon tank up to temperature and maintaining.

I started with room temperature water at about 65F and gradually brought it up to 79 degrees. I used a cooking probe thermometer to check the temperature. I do not and would never recommend trusting the dial on any tank heater.

I kept adjusting the knob until the tank reached 79. Then I would back off one click. As the knob is turned, one feels a click. I noticed the temperature was not stepping down incrementally and I wanted to bring my tank down to around 76 to 77 degrees.

I turned the knob multiple clicks and then brought it back up one click at a time. Bottom line, don’t assume each click is a uniform step up or uniform step down in temperature. Always validate your temperature with an accurate thermometer.

The compartment where the heater is located in the back of the tank also contains a media bag and media. I was concerned at first at the amount of heat coming off the heater. While the heater is on I can’t my finger there a significant amount of heat coming off the heater.

That is, I didn’t want a hot heater melting my media bags and cooking my bacteria. There is no evidence of overheating. Of course, never let the water level drop or the 50watts of head will cause damage.

Stop your heater when performing water changed.

I have 3 bettas and was using the tetra brand heaters which work fine. However one of my betta tanks sit in our sunroom and in the winter at night that room is the coldest in the house and the tetra brand heater could not keep the tank up to temp.

When I would wake up the tank temp would be 74 degrees and with a +/- 1 variation I was not happy with the temp being at the low end of acceptable temps. So I decided to give this little heater a try and I am glad I did! I set this heater on 80 and the tank has been 79 degrees ever since.

With a +/- of 1 on the tank thermometer (I have digital probes in tank) this is acceptable and I am very happy with this purchase! I just ordered 2 more to have on hand to replace the other 2 when needed.

We installed this heater when setting up a new 29g tank. It worked great set to 78 degrees for the first two weeks of cycling, but one day, I came home and the temperature in our tank was 84 DEGREES! The heater’s thermostat was stuck in the “on” position, and it would not turn off.

It was just running in the “on” position for who knows how long. Even after I turned the temperature on the dial as low as it would go, it stayed on. When I disconnected the power and removed the heater, the heater was so hot that I couldn’t handle it! It’s a good thing the tank was still cycling, because if there were fish in the tank, they’d probably be dead now.

I will never buy another Aqueon heater again.

I see so many bad reviews because the number on the dial and the actual temp of the water dont match. There are contributing factors to this. Like what is the temp of the room your tank is in, what size is your tank, is your tank fully covered.

among other things. I have my breeding tanks in my basement. 10 gallon apisto tanks. each with their own 50w PRO. The heaters are turned past the 82deg mark because Im in a basement with temps in the upper 50s – lower 60s.

They keep my tanks hovered where they are supposed to be with a degree of accuracy. I dont have a lot of water movement with just sponge filters running so to keep the other side of the tank at the desired temp, the area near the heater must be subjected to warmer temps.

My fish find their sweet spot and breed in the cave where they choose. Thanks for making a dependable heater, Ive been using these for as long as I an remember.

I bought this heater yesterday well because it is the only 100 watt they had in stock. I read the instructions and went by them step by step. Plugged it in, Nothing. Took it out and tried again, Nothing.

Instructions say the knob on top glows red when heating. Long story short, the knob does not “glow red”, It is very faint and dim and can only be seen with all the room lights off. I don’t like that.

I like to glance over and see the light on and I know it is heating. I’ll keep it and see how well it works.

Replaced cheap heaters with short cords and malfunctioned with these all around high quality heaters. Nice to have working heaters for fish that like it warmer or just turn up the heat to kill bacteria and get rid of parasites you wont go wrong with these.

The Fish Tank Heater is very robust and well made with easy to follow instructions. Packaging was strong with good illustrations. Works very well.

Good heater for the price. It maintains a fairly steady temp in my 16L betta tank, but does occasionally fluctuate. Good for a beginner fish keeper of a nano tank.

This took 24hrs to Heat a freshly filled 90L aquascape from 12oC to 25oC. It works, but in reality I wish I had brought a 150 or 200 model. I’d go x1.5 to x2.0 the manufacturers size.

Let me start off by saying this Heater works GREAT ! Now, as far as the Accuracy of the Temperature Control / Thermostat, well that has a little bit of a Learning Curve. It runs a little under what the Gauge says, by like maybe 3 Degrees – That being said once you “Calibrate” it with a good Thermometer (I used two Floaters for comparison, until I saw they both read the exact same temp for a week – I took one out.

This Heater’s “Gauge” was set at 80-ish, maybe 82 – The Water Temp settled in at 77. Not Bad. Just an Informational Tool. I have had this now going on 4 Months and it is Running Great – Once you Figure Out the Gauge, as I am thinking maybe they are all a bit different, you will know where to set it – I will say this, If I turn it down two degrees, it lowers the water temp two degrees and vice-versa.

It stays put, though the suction cups should be on longer stems as the Top of the Heater presses the Tanks Edge and the Top Suction Cup Barely meets the glass – a 1/4″ Longer Stem From the Heater Clamp to the Cups would be Perfect.

But, like I said it stays put so Mission Barely Accomplished There. The Temp Control Knob is Tight to Turn – Which I guess feels better than if it were loose, But, you do have to grip it to adjust the Temp.

I love the Glowing Amber Light that shows it’s on and the Warm Red Glow you can See thru the Glass, lets you know it is heating evenly from top to bottom of the Wired Grid. I have had more expensive Heaters that didn’t warm evenly – AND, I was skeptical due to the low price but the Quality of the Build is Really Good.

It’s a Solid Little Performer so far. As for Longevity ? We’ll see !( I bought a Second one for my New 75 Gallon Tank) – When I first Plugged it in on the 20 Gallon, the Water was a Chilled Room Temp of 70 Degrees (F) – It took a Minute (Slang) to get it to 80 but has held steady ever since – Maybe 6-8 Hours to get there – IDK – I didn’t really time it.

After I learned it’s Gauging “Idiosyncrasies”, I found where it hits 77, though the Gauge says 80-81? It shows more like a sliding scale anyway so be your own judge on that. As for me, I Like It.

Temperature setting is ACCURATE to the temp held in our tank. I’ve had it as our 45gallon tank’s sole heater, other than ambient room, and it does a GREAT job maintaining a steady set temp, without seeming to need be on/heating all that often/long.

I have multiple varieties of fish, and they’ve always seemed happy swimming near or around the heater, as well as equally in all furthest reaches of the tank. I’m new to aquarium life, but was willing to “risk” purchasing a substantially-lesser priced unit, instead of the name brands, but not the basement cheap-Os from who knows who in China.

I’m VERY happy with decision so far. we’ll see how the longevity goes after another year to a few. The temperature “display” on the visible front of tube has been a feature I’ve greatly appreciated, unexpectedly.

my tank sits high, against a wall and would be difficult to see minor adjustments when room temps fluctuate in our differing seasons. I love being able to grab the knob to change settings, while looking at eye level thru the tank, making it easy to set it exactly where I’d like to have it function–NICE DESIGN, ViaAqua; thank you! Just to be clear, while looking at the images may give you the impression that it has a built-in thermometer, it does not. There is a nob on top to set the temperature, and it tells you was you have set, but it does not tell you the actual temperature of the water.

It makes sense when you think about it, but the photo isn’t clear. You want to measure the temperature in a spot far away from the heater, otherwise the temperature you see will be influenced by whether or not the heater is actively heating.

The only real issue we had is that it is quite tall, and the nob extends the length further. The instructions tell you it must be mounted vertically, so you are stuck if your tank is not also tall. Although the description says that it must be “Fully Submerged”, the instructions in the box say the top half-inch or so can be out of the water (there is a marker line showing how much has to be submerged.

) We had to clear out an area on the floor of the tank to avoid having it contact the rocks, and it still sticks out enough to prevent the cover from fully closing. It functions well and has no trouble maintaining the tank temperature, even when the room temp drops into the low 60s.

The aquarium heater has been exceptional. Compared with the heater that was supplied with a 28litre tank bought in a pet shop. My male betta is much more active and is constantly chasing his tank mates.

I could not be happier with the hidom heater.

I needed a heater that adjusts to 16 degrees centigrade. This was the only one I could find. I normally use Eheim products but I have to say how pleased I am with the Hidom Heater. I rate it with 5 stars.

Petco is going to keep spamming me with review requests until I review this, but frankly, I don’t think having a heater for 2 weeks is a good indication of whether or not you have a good heater. I can tell you that it keeps the temperature at the correct setting consistently.

It is very tall for a heater that heats up to 15 gallons. I have it in a portrait style 5. 5 gallon aquarium and it’s as tall as the water column.

Good heater. Works fine, nothing to complain about, nothing exciting either. Power is correct, watt-meter shows 49W, close enough. Good attachment to aquarium wall. Keeps temperature in narrow range.

My previous heater died suddenly and this was in stock locally. Keeps a consistent temperature, although not necessarily the exact temperature on the dial; easily managed with a thermometer. It is very long for the size of tank it’s made for, making placement a little tricky.

Super easy to set up and low profile compared to my Ebo Jager. Very accurate and was able to set at 78 degrees for saltwater quarantine tank. Calibrated against 2 digital thermometers and my InkBird system and the thermostat was spot on.

Will purchase another one for the main reef tank!.

Brilliant heater. It’s safe, well made and heats the water quickly. I use it for heating my salt water mix when I’m doing water changes on my marine tank. It has a thermometer built in that tells you the current temperature with a blue led light and red led light is what you use to set the temperature you want! You control this by a button in the middle! Honestly a really good heater! So easy to use!!.

I like the integrated temperature light. No need for separate temperature gauge. Worked straight out of the box. Did not even need to adjust for my guppies. Only been using for 10 days but looks good.

May be a bit more expensive than some models but its a get what you pay for situation.

Although rated for just a 100 gallon tank, this heater has kept my 160 gallon system within one degree of its 78 degree setting, with the house thermostat set at 70 degrees during the recent cold snaps.

All glass Hass a phenomenal submersible water heater. For a 70 gallon tank. My African cichlids thrive and seem to have given more of an elegant color and I solely believe that this heater has a great amount of this.

Price is very fair and it’s not super bulky so you don’t have to worry about algae build up.

I got two of these. One for each 20 gallon tall tank. The temp seems to stay consistent, the are both sitting up and down fully under water. The suction cups do hold, but move easily. The picture in the ad shows the suction cups spaced out.

The paperwork that comes with it shows not to put the suction cup holders below the “black” part on the heater. My guess is more “heat” in that area, which cause more stress on the holder. Just do remember, put heater in, fill with water, let water sit for an hour to let water and heater be the same temp, THEN turn heater on.

Same if putting in a full tank. Let heater get the temp of water before turning on so not to crack the glass caused by too much of a temp difference.

The heater arrived quickly. Packaged in a lot of bubble wrap, tightly wrapped. Heater looks brand new, undamaged. (Always a concern when buying electronics that you will be receiving a damaged or used product.

) Heater is up to 40 gallons but works just fine in my 20 gallon. I haven’t monitored the temp super closely, as I do not have terribly sensitive fish or inverts, but it seems like it stays within a few degrees of the setting.

Works as described. I’m glad I’ve changed my heating element for my aquarium! So far I’ve ordered 2. The first one is great I love that it’s submersible. The 2nd one I bought came damaged. It’s no worry to me because chewy who my pets and I adore are working promptly to replace it.

Besides I’m up grading. I’m grateful that I have the one I’m using and excited to upgrade. Thank you chewy for your time and patience along with your timely response I couldn’t ask for anything more!.

These heaters are rated 300 watts for a 75 gallon tank. I am currently using two (2) in a 75 gallon tank that is 3/4 filled and has a small Map turtle who needs about 82-84 degrees. Water is just at 82 degrees even when both heaters are set to the limit of 88 degrees.

I am also using three (3) heaters to heat my 120 gallon tank used for an adult Red Eared Slider turtle, also 3//4 filled, and set at 88 degrees. Tank water is only 82-84 degrees. I do not understand why both heaters shut off at around 82-barely 84 degrees as I have thermometers near and away from the heaters so I can evaluate the heaters efficacy.

For fish they are fine and are preset but for reptiles like aquatic turtles I’m not so sure. Still experimenting these past few days but if they don’t do the job, back they go.

I am SO glad Chewy offers this product. I have gone to 3 pet stores looking for an adjustable heater for my small 5 gal aquarium, and found this one. Easy to read temp, easy to adjust temp, and maintains the temp you set it to! It is WONDERFUL.

These heaters are excellent! They are extremely easy to use and the best part is you can see your temperature all the time. I currently have 2 of these heaters that I have had for 3 years. They have worked flawlessly.

I just purchased my 3rd one as a present for my grandson for Christmas. I highly recommend these theaters. They are easier to use and very accurate.

The quality of the backpack is excellent, that is; the construction, materials used and stitching, is solid. I only used it once, and even though it was packed it was comfortable. My poor rating is due to the interior design.

As a carpenter i was hoping to be able to easily put a circular saw in. This I could not do. The way the space inside the pack is divided does not leave that much room for a larger object such as a saw.

Also I would have included a strap or such on the side for at least a four foot level. It seems like the pack is more designed for electricians or plumbers. There are a number of pockets on the inside for various smaller tools.

Honestly I am more inclined to just throw my stuff in and go. Since it doesn’t really fit my needs I will probably try to sell it.

I got this bag for plein air painting after it was reviewed by another artist. I needed it to keep my tools dry on wet grass and I needed it to stay upright. It does those things perfectly and carries all my painting tools so I can easily reach them in the field.

I am extremely pleased I made this purchase and the price was the best I found out there.
