I agree with Dennis’ comment. To move it to another room, you have to pick it up like an awkward rolled up carpet. The insert or cut out behind the unit is a space for inserting four fingertips and is like putting a hard disc into a Tandy computer! For those that don’t know what that is, basically you’re SOL with an inch thick and nothing inside there to grip on.

PROS: ECO setting, quiet as can be, heats up an 11×12 bedroom with ease. I like moving it around though! Spread the wealth and I’m thinking about supergluing a loop of some sort on the back. Lasso has a great reputation as far as good brands.

I have a fan by lasso and it’s up there in quality to a Dyson. CONS: no tipover safety, third party seller so if you don’t like it or something goes wrong, you better decide in less than 30 days. Amazon might be $10 more but if someone mentioned it broke after 3 months? Then I’m Kind of hesitant especially with newer models of the same brand.

I didn’t realize that I purchased this on Walmart. so I’m crossing my fingers. My last space heater was a louder oscillating heat.

This item arrived safely packed and promptly. The tower heater runs quietly and features an auto switch to Low when the room reaches the desired temperature. Did check the plug for heat while running.

On High, it was warm(not hot), but when lowered to the Low setting, little to no heat in the cord or plug. I like this tower heater that also offers an auto shutoff if the tower tips for any reason. I can recommend this heater for use during the cooler weather.

If using on carpet, it is wise to use a tile or hard surface to avoid any danger.

I needed to get a space heater for my living room, as it is larger and there is a few spots that get drafty. After looking at many models, I decided to go with this model as I like the tall tower look, and that it osculates.

When receiving it, it was super easy to get out of the box and plug in. I enjoy the fact that there is a remote control featured on this and really like that I can use a remote from across the room. When I turned it on the first time, I was expecting for it to be loud and noisy like my other heaters I have had.

It is quiet, and not noisy even on the high setting. I love that it has a few modes included, low is what I usually keep it on during the day and it keeps it nice and warm in the living room, as well as my kitchen and dining area.

It heats a lot more space than I thought it would which is awesome. This heater makes me safe and happy with my choice, as I have had it for almost a month, and have ran it every single day for multiple hours.

There is no heater warm up smell like some other brands of heaters I’ve had, have done. I really also enjoy that there is a auto temperature feature that only kicks on the heater at a certain set temperature.

I use it for cold mornings, and don’t have to worry while I am downstairs in my office. I have little ones as well as pets in the house and have not had to worry about them bumping this and knocking it over, it is well made and sturdy and also is not hot to the touch.

I will be buying a second one of these for my basement, I am really happy with my purchase and recommend this model highly. If you are looking for a quality space heater that puts out a fair amount of heat, look into this heater, I bought it at a great price.

Hey. If you’re cold, this thing will make you hot. It’s great. Turn it on and you’ll be hot as heck very soon. There are two ways to use this thing: 1) Set it to “Low,” or “High. ” It will stay on and keep spittin’ fire until you turn it off (or if it senses it’s about to burn down your house, the safety mechanism will supposedly turn it off).

OR 2) Set it to a temperature (which are in 5° increments: You can pick 65°, 70°, 75°, 80° or 85°, but you cannot select temps in between). The unit will then use it’s “High” mode, sporadically turning on and off in order to keep the unit at the temperature you selected.

It would be nice if you could pick specific temperatures instead, but this thing will definitely save your life on cold nights. It also has the option to oscillate a total of 30°. And the outside remains cool to the touch (except for the grate), so a small child or pet is unlikely to accidentally touch it and burn themselves.

Been using this for a few months now. Great heater with a weird interface.

I inherited this Lasko from a former boss who left it behind when he transitioned to a different office. I believe, as of 2021, the unit is at least 6 years old. I have to say I found it a bit too powerful at my cubicle and brought it home.

BEST DECISION! This little heater will heat up my living room within 10 minutes when placed on high, 75 degrees, and oscillating. It has helped cut my heating bills for late fall when I need some warmth in my room but don’t need to heat up the whole house.

I only gave it 4 stars because I tipped it over and it did not shut off. This may not have been a feature when it was purchased years ago. Overall, it does its job. My cats don’t bother it and my 10 yr old son can easily work it himself.

I’ve had this for about 3 weeks now but will probably take it back. While it does heat my son’s small room nicely, it has some irritating things about it. You can set the temperature; however, before buying it I didn’t realize the temperature was in 5 degree increments, so you can’t just set it to what you want.

The most awful thing about this heater is the bright temperature display and the fact that it blinks until the temperature is reached. Even after it turns off, there is a red light that stays on. That’s too much visual stimulation for a toddler trying to go to sleep.

Lastly, the buttons beep when you push them which is disturbing late at night.

I needed a space heater for an office area. This fit my needs. It warms up the area decently. I like that there is a remote control and that you can set a timer. I also like that you can select the degree of oscillation (if you want or need any).

The digital readout is clear and easy to see. It is not too heavy, and having a built in handle is a nice add-on.

Works well. Love the remote. Heats the room nicely if the door is closed. 10×12. The room is in the basement and gets cold due to poor hear circulation in a old home. Only reason I give 4 stars is the unit is on consistently, but that more due to the room.

While we have had tremendous issues with these heaters, only one customer service rep saved the day out of many. Her name is Elizabeth. Our five star review is for the New Air customer service rep who was the only person who helped us during multiple issues with our New Air heater.

Our issues: The heater (from Home Depot) was the best heater we had ever had. It gives off great heat, is easy to use and is almost completely silent. Our heater was perfect before it broke down in almost a year.

We had tough time reaching new air to do the warranty replacement (this was during the corona virus lock down) and we were separate to have a heater as it was still winter, so we bought a new one from wayfair.

That brand new heater worked perfectly for a short amount of time before it broke down. We kept trying new air and finally got a warranty replacement for the initial heater. The warranty replacement broke down within one day.

It was a bit of a nightmare to get a New Air representative to get a replacement for the broken heater that they sent us for the warranty replacement. We finally got them to send us “one that worked” and when it arrived it had scratches all over it and rattled with obvious loose parts internally which added to our frustration.

We tried several times and no representative would do anything from New Air. Each time they said they couldn’t transfer us to a supervisor but one would call back and no one ever called. We had decided to try one last time on principle and got Elizabeth who handled everything and sent us a new heater.

Fingers crossed that it will last longer than the others. You know when this heater works it must be amazing to go through all this trouble knowing they don’t last, but we are very appreciative at least for Elizabeth who was efficient, professional and understood the issues we had had well enough to actually get them resolved.

If our review was for the heater we would give 5 stars when it works and 1 star for durability.

This my friend is the newair space heater. Let me just start off with saying that they have multiple colors. I went with the classic white because not only does it look great but also has a great modern feel.

It was perfectly package. What I love about it is that it’s the perfect size for my daughters room or in the matter anyroom. Plus it only weighs about 8 1/2 pounds. It has two speed fan and runs about 1500 Watts for the rooms that are 250 square feet.

My daughter loves how super quiet it is she slept like a baby with it running all night. The Newair Ceramic portable space heater also has a programmable timer so if it were too fall it has shut off for safety precautions.

Love how it is very well designed over all this is a quality product that I would recommend to everyone.

This heater works great for how compact it is. I love that it has an ECO friendly feature because we tend to leave it on overnight. I use it in my living room when I first wake up and want to stay warm, or through the night when we don’t want the house too hot but just enough warmth.

It’s very trendy, white, and perfect in size. It’s easy to use you can have it on high or low and set it to the temperature you want it to with the buttons on the top. It also tells you what degrees your house is currently at.

We needed a small heater to fit in a small space in a room that is always chilly. I have found that most small size heaters do not provide adequate heat. This compact space heater is skinny and only 25” tall but is perfect.

It oscillates in 3 settings from half way, for just toward me, to all around the room. It includes a remote so I don’t even need to leave my chair. There are 2 heat settings plus an auto setting that stay at a certain temperature.

There is a removable filter that is easy to clean. The heater is lightweight and has a handle for carrying I recommend this heater for heating part of a room.

Piece of junk. It’s hardly been used since I bought it a few years ago, because it’s VERY expensive to operate. Not energy efficient in the least. I use it only during weather emergencies. Got it out of the closet to warm up water pipes in the kitchen during 0-degree weather, and discovered that the sensor/thermostat is malfunctioning.

It will not hold the 56 degrees I had set it at, but cranks itself up to 90 degrees, beeping all the while. I can run it only on manual, with me there to plug it in and unplug it (power button doesn’t work).

Which means being up in the middle of the night, babysitting it. That’s probably the only safe way to run it, however. Having read many accounts of this heater melting electrical outlets and melting its own plastic top, I would be terrified of letting it run overnight, unattended.

Not recommended. Do not buy this model.

This heater is quite functional and is designed well. The thermostat or temperature of the heat is adjustable. It also comes with a remote control and you can make it rotate 360 degrees or less. Apparently there’s a filter that needs to be cleaned periodically which I haven’t done yet.

That’s extra maintenance and I wish it had a built in handle to pick it up. Otherwise it is a good purchase.

This is the second Lasko heater I’ve purchased, the first being an oscillating tabletop sized model a couple of years ago. This “bladeless” floor model has a couple of annoying tendencies that render it far less value than what I expected.

First, it’s ambient heat regulation is awful. I have it in an enclosed 140 sq. ft. room. Let’s say I set it to 16C and turn it on. The heater runs the temperature up to at least 18C before it shuts off.

Is that the temperature sensor being woefully slow in reacting to change or a built-in overshoot that’s too extreme? The heater then shuts off as it should. Watching the front panel display the temperature shown continues to rise, as much as another 2-3 degrees C so now it’s at 19-20C.

It sits there as the room cools but the display is very, very slow to register the drop resulting in the room being noticeably cold by the time it turns back on. All through this cool down time the unit starts for just a few seconds every few minutes, blows a burst of cold air into the room and shuts back off.

Why?? This cycle continues ad nauseam so the room repeatedly overheats then gets cool (read 3-4 degrees BELOW the set point) before being reheated. Is the internal temperature sensor defective? Is it located in an air-blocked area of the chassis so it cannot react accurately? Obviously I can’t answer that but given the cost this unit isn’t very well controlled to say the least and it renders the room it’s in either over-heated or cooler than desired.

Second, and of a more minor concern, is that if you select the oscillate mode, run the heater then turn it off the next time yo turn it on the temperature setting has been retained but the oscillate function is not restarted without user intervention.

The tabletop model has a physical switch for oscillate so it does perform as expected. This unit with it’s electronic keypad does not. Why? I’ve had this one for 3 weeks now and I will keep it to use for what it was purchased to do.

We bought 3 of these heaters online as replacements for older space heaters that supplement the central heating in a particular room. We liked the looks anf functionality as well as the location of controls and the remote control.

We have had many Lasko productsd in the past. All three had a powerful chemical odor when turned on. We were about to return them but decided to run them outside overnight to burn off whatever was causing them to smell bad when operated.

It greatly reduced the smell but that smell persisted for about a week. All electric fans have an odor when used after being stored from the dust that collects on the heating elements. This was definitley chemical reminiscent of plastic burning.

We were disappointed as these heaters were on the upper price range for tower style heaters.

I had high hopes to upgrade my existing heater with this. This looks sleek and has a metric digital thermostat, but unfortunately doesn’t seem to put out as much heat as my old heater from another brand, and was noisier, too.

I seem to have a different definition of wide oscillation, because I found this one to be quite narrow. The auto dimming display didn’t dim, and the bright red characters were quite intense to look at.

It also resets every time it’s turned off, which is annoying to have to constantly reprogram it every time I turn it on. I sent this disappointment back to the store for a refund and went back to using my old heater while I keep an eye out for a better replacement.

First off, I received the heater yesterday, one day earlier than was expected. Unlike other poster comments about installing the legs and how frustrating it was, I didn’t encounter any problems; all you need is a long magnetic Phillips head screwdriver, a steady hand and some patience.

Although, that’s not to say that the leg design couldn’t be improved on. Once assembled, I ran the heater for a little more than an hour on just the 1000 watt setting, and it provided good heat for my small living room.

This morning I set it at the 1000 watt plus 1500 watt combination and it warmed up the room pretty fast, and safe to say the heater remained cool to the touch. So far I haven’t encountered any of the other problems I’ve read about in reviews, such as the circuit breaker blowing or hearing unusual noises coming from the heater itself.

I purchased the cream-colored heater and have to say it looks nice in the corner of my living room. I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

I ALWAYS comparison shop a product, and then research anything I buy like this, including reading the reviews of the products lower stars ratings also, to determine if product has a CONSISTENT issue (or it’s a user issue).

Controls are easily accessible and straight forward easy to use. Having the door closed on unit makes the “fire” and logs look real. Flame and log glowing affect is adjustable to your liking, and easy to change.

It’s heating up our large bedroom just fine, and worked so we’ll we even had to turn it down! May have to use it on Low vs High setting for RVs to avoid tripping a fuse (depends on your RV amps), however I have not tried it yet in my 5th wheel RV, but I have no doubts that this will heat at least the bedroom on low setting.

This unit would look perfect at back window of my 5th wheel, and could be used as as side table between my 2 smaller chairs there. The surround surfaces of this unit do NOT get hot at all, on any side.

I had to just now order another one for friend who was impressed and loved everything about this one I have. Only negative I strain to come up with is it’s short height, not quite 23″ ht w/ legs on. We plan to place it on a decorative base, just to raise it up a bit, for better viewing when in bed.

Yes, you can use it without heat feature on. Some reviews I read had issues about attaching the legs onto this unit. I had no issues. Using a long handled phillips screw driver and attaching 1 leg at a time: I put the center screw in first and only tightened 1/2 way while making sure the leg “clip” was gently/consistently flattened (as expected for end results) onto the base of unit while using the screw driver, then did the same w/ the other two screws.

Then I alternated tightening the screws until they were all snug but not too tight. (I think possibly fully tightening 1st screw could make the other holes harder to thread screw in, issue w/ past reviews) Had all legs attached using this method in less than 5 mins, no hassles.

This unit is also very light weight (but looks heavy) and can be easily picked up to move to other rooms you want heat in. I have an miniature Aussie Shepard dog, no concerns with her possibly knocking over this unit if she bumps it when chasing her ball indoors.

(note: unit is NOT in the center of a room or in a pathway) I always unplug any heating unit when it is not in use.

The heater works good after getting assembled. You have to put on the legs yourself but one thing you need to know is that there are 3 screws for each leg. Be sure to have a long shaft phillips screwdriver to fit screws.

The inside screw you will not be able to access properly with a regular shaft screwdriver. Possibly strip out the head of screw if you use a regular shaft length driver. Also; before putting the legs on chase the holes where the screws go before putting on the legs.

This will clear out the holes of any finish spray that got into the holes and will make it easier to screw them down when attaching the legs. Otherwise I am satisfied with the operation of the heater.

Installed in our bathroom, we did let it run in the garage for a couple hours after reading there may be an Oder. Bought with the optional thermostat and seems to be working very well.

I spent a long time researching heaters, looking for the right one that would suit my needs. This one came very positively reviewed on many different websites, so i took a chance on it (as i am skeptical of the honesty of reviews these days.

) I was buying the Lasko tower heaters, but they didn’t give off much heat on low, and the plugs would get really hot on high, and i had to buy a new one every few years. I love this little heater, it gives off fantastic heat.

I am someone who hates being cold, and for me anything below 60°F is cold. It keeps my large RV comfortable even on the low setting (and i live in Northern California where it snows. ) I like that the only area where the air is pulled in has a removable plactic covering and can be vacuum cleaned.

Makes it safer when it comes to dust and hair getting into it and clogging it up. It doesn’t overheat my outlet or trip my circuit breaker, even on the high setting (it only makes the plug warm, which is normal and ok.

) My only complaint would be that it is quite loud. It definitely sounds like hair dryer. But i can deal with it as it does keep me warm. It’s very easy to use, and has a remote for when I’m lazy (or have a cat sleeping on my lap.

) I am very happy with my purchase and in the future i would buy this model again.

Purchased to replace the five year old Lasko whose base I cracked that kept my small room & me warm as toast. However this version not so. Manual sensor difficult to activate without any backlight. And it sounds like sitting near an airplane wing.

Despite being same height as previous model this one seems to sweep in cold hair and minimize heat which really only disperses about 14 inches from ground rather than sweep area. Last one you could tent if you dared for a quick foot sauna.

I am certain whoever retrieved mine was kept warmer than I during its one week of use. Packed & returned today. Disappointing from both QVC & Lasko.

I am more than satisfied with the quality. This does a great job of heating a large room. There are multiple adjustment levels for heat, rotation/oscillation, and fan. The remote works very well and there is a little storage space on the back of the unit so it doesn’t get lost when not using the heater.

My only exception and the reason I gave the product 4 not 5 stars is the fan noise.
