Looks great, lots of compliments on and off the job. It’s a lighter weight jacket, but does the same job as a heavier coat, and without the bulk.

I like the style, but this is too thin to be called a jacket. The shoulders and sleeves offer very little protection from a breeze. Even with a long sleeve shirt under it it doesn’t slow a cold breeze.

This is the first thing that I have gotten from Leather-up that I am going to have to return.

Great product. Very comfortable and warm to wear in colder weather. Also durable and well made. My only complaint it the media/cell phone pocket is small and doesn’t accommodate my phone. Other than that it’s a great jacket.

I love this jacket. I tell everybody about it. If I could have tried it on I probably would have bought the next size down. At 6’2 205 lbs xl is a little too big for a heated jacket.

Received jacket and found it was very comfortable and fit very well. Out of the box it felt flexible and not stiff like most new jackets. I had previously purchased a Milwaukee heated jacket at twice the price and found the quality to be very poor so I sent it back and purchased this one as a replacement and was very please with the overall quality of not only the jacket but the zipper was built out of metal not plastic like the Milwaukee jacket.

Highly recommend if you are in the market for a heated jacket.

I ordered this jacket and returned it due to the hood actually being non functional. It has no draw string, and is quite oversized. Basically, it’s a kite. If this is an outdoor “work jacket”, then one would use a hood quite often in cold/windy weather.

This hood does not lend to this need in it’s present configuration.

It hasn’t been cold enough to use it. I’ll be honest with you all I work in the oil feild so we will see what it’s made of. Over all appearances looks sturdy, comfortable, heats up in seconds. Good stitching I think it will be perfect for me and anyone else.

I wish they made a FR flam resistance one but -50 no one will even try to look.

This product is working well for me – I like the fit and results. I was surprised to find little to no definition of other products one has to buy to connect. I would’ve appreciated knowing that: The package comes with a Y-dongle with 2 female COAX ends feeding into a single male COAX end.

The jacket itself outputs via male COAX ends. There is no SAE end (neither female nor male) provided in the base product package. You must order this converter separately (Amazon has these in stock).

the controller is also not provided. For a bike with SAE connection built-in, I recommend buying the FirstGear Heat Troller and the SAE to female COAX adapter with this product.

Coat works great, was out in 30 degree weather here in Minnesota, only had it half way turned up, at the most. The heated gloves worked very well, it?s a different kind of heat than the jacket. They don?t seem to get hot, when you turn them way up, like the coat does, but your hands just stay comfortable, never got cold.

I really wanted a heated work jacket and it was between this one and one from another company. I bought both just to compare, and this Action Heat work jacket was nicer by far. The outer material is really tough and the heat can’t be beat.

I returned the other jacket and bought a couple of spare batteries for this one , so I can swap as soon as i need too.

I love this jacket! The rechargeable battery that it comes with is great. With 3 different heat settings, I can adjust this jacket temperature to whatever temperature I want depending on how cold it is outside.

I usually keep it on the lowest setting since that temp is warm enough for me.

Awesome coat! I have a heated vest but everytime I put it on my arms were cold, I am happy I got this during the labor day sale! Great deal! Thank you Venture heat! Also love having the ability to use the app to change the heat settings.

I also love the hood feature, again another added bonus compared to the vest I have. I got a size Large and I still can layer underneath, I think it fits true to size. The only thing I might want added as a horse back rider is a media pocket to put my phone somewhere other then the side pockets.

Doesn’t pair to bluetooth like it said. Read a lot of reviews that said the same.

I have no issues with the manufacturing quality here. The battery and both parts of the coat are high quality, but it’s not actually a layered coat. The hydrobreak shell is just a loose rain poncho that sits over top of the heated jacket.

Unless it’s supposed to be attached to the coat, why even include it in the kit? Both of them together make a great heavy weather coat, but I hate having to literally put on two separate pieces every time I put my coat on.

I literally only bought this kit because it’s heated, and waterproof WITH A HOOD. But it’s an inferior heated jacket to the toughshell one, with no belly warmer or cuff warmers. The shoulder warmers make no sense to me.

Never once have my shoulders been the thing that’s cold it’s great, but I’m asking myself why I didn’t just get the toughshell for the same price as the Axis. I could just get this rain coat separately to go over that, who cares about the fitment.

In fact, why is it even paired with the axis jacket anyway? It’s a lesser coat. Why not just design the hydrobreak to zip on to the toughshell. There’s no point to the axis jacket. It’s just a less durable coat for the same price with a smaller included battery and inferior heating options.

I only got this kit yesterday and I think I’ll be exchanging it. I’ll just have to go without a hood and waterproofing unless I go with the gridiron kit at least.

Got this for my husband for Christmas because he’s working on a deck job (a new construction building that doesn’t have walls yet). I was disappointed that only some models come with the wall prong charger and the one I purchased does not.

For the amount of money I paid I feel it should have been included. It’s up to my husband but me personally, based on the principle, I would return it.

I bought this jacket for my mom and my GF. I live in alaska and lately its been -22 Deg. My mom help me outside one day and she loves the jacket she said and I quote “I don’t feel cold”. This jacket is great and I am thinking of buying one for my self but for men.

Do recommend this jacket for women. I will have to say yes and will I be willing to buy this again for personal use or as a gift. I will have to say yes. I just wish they have a heated pants for men and women or one of those heated winter skirt so I could buy one for my mom and my girl friend.

Over all the people I gave this jacket too are very satisfied and the price is right.

My nephew is the “gadget king” always finding things to make life easier and convenient! For Christmas he gave me the Traverse Heated Puffer Jacket. As I have aged, my skin has gotten thinner and my tolerance for cold weather has been unbearable! This jacket has been a blessing to me and I have called him almost every day since to let him know how much I love it! Thanks to your creation and my nephews generosity, I will have a whole new outlook on the dreaded winter season.

I love this coat for the electric heat. Actually, I am wearing it right now at my desk typing this review. I’m not a fan of the style but I will get over it quick when I am not cold when everyone else is.

The battery is small but lasts a long time on high (several hours) and recharges quickly. The coat is comfortable, has plenty of pockets and most importantly, it provides heat. 3 settings starting with high then medium then low.

I set mine to high till it gets warm then to low for a longer lasting comfort. I will absolutely purchase another when I wear this one out and I will.

The jacket looks nicely made although a bit ‘boxy’ on me because I thought the womens XL would be too small. A bit worried it might not be heavy enough for when I really “need” the heater pack. I have mostly used it without the heater so cannot be sure.

The heater doesn’t feel very strong when I have used it, so I am not sure I would be able to feel it if I have several layers but I assume it is better than nothing. I do wish the whole sleeve, rather just than the cuff, was fleece lined since the sleeves don’t have a heating element.

I may change my opinion of this product after more time in colder weather.

I got this heated jacket as a surprise gift. I had mentioned wanting to get back into skiing but I hate the ride on the ski lift, when the wind is just blowing straight at you. This jacket ends that discomfort and makes skiing fun again.

As an added bonus, the jacket is quite stylish and comfortable, making it a great choice for all my outdoor activities.

First of all, I have no regrets with my purchase of the jacket when it first came out. I had it ever since and it has been washed many times and the jacket is holding up. Even a 2 ah battery doesn’t last 8 hours when the battery was brand new.

The battery is uncomfortable (not sure what hart could really do to help that other then charge the battery in the future when technology and price allows. ) Looks like the new ones have fixed the issues.

Anyway my other was about the light in the front of the jacket glowing when on. I ended up getting a black marked and took care of that problem for the most part. Other then those, I enjoy the jacket and would purchase again for the price.

It keeps me warm when I need it to but I do live in Louisiana so it doesn’t get all that cold here for long.

I’m not a hunter, or an outdoorsman. I’m an old lady with arthritis, and when I chose to receive this jacket for review, I was thinking of how it might help my pain. Heat is a great help to keep me pain free when I am crocheting, but it is hard to position a heating pad, and even harder to keep it in position while moving around.

I thought ” Aha ! – I’ll try this heated jacket ! “. Well, it works a real treat. It is easy to understand the heating system, and it lasts forever and I can binge watch netflix and crochet all day while staying nice and warm.

My only suggestion is that you offer it in Granny Pink, or a nice neutral. I’m afraid I look a bit odd sitting on my couch crocheting in camo, but I won’t give up this cozy, warm perfect jacket because of that.

The jacket itself is extremely well made, a nice thick material with a quality finish, good quality zippers – someone took some pride in making this. The battery is a snap to use. I think there are many other people who might find an unconventional, but perfect use for a good jacket with heat.

First of all I’d like to point out that I am a huge Milwaukee fan and own about $15K of their tools, which is reliable and exceeds all of my expectations every time, so I decided to give their apparel a try as well.

I’ve been surveying a building earlier today in the heavy snow, spent about 2 and a half hours in a 10 degree snowy windy weather. Jacket and shell have performed miraculously, kept me warm and dry and very comfortably in terms of movement and fit (I am a size small).

BUT there are a few design flaws that must be addressed before this jacket becomes a top competitor on the market. 1. The most ridiculous one is the outer chest pockets that are on the shell. They do not lock, no flap to put over them or a zipper to keep them closed.

Snow kept getting inside those pockets and kept melting because of the heat that the jacket emitted. Chest pockets became buckets for water. Next time if I’ll be in the similar situation I’ll put duct tape over the opening to prevent the elements getting inside.

In my opinion this one is a no brainer for a weather proof clothing to secure all the pockets from elements. Just common sense. 2. If I am dropping $300 on a jacket please find a way how to implement pocket warmers on the outer shell.

It isn’t hard to install another foot of heating coil into the pockets of the shell and a connector to connect with the jacket’s system. I mean it’s an Axis Layering SYSTEM, build it so it can perform as a system and not two separate gourmets that are worn on top of each other.

3. This one is the least of my concerns, more of recommendation really – put a pocket for an iPad inside the jacket or on the back, just like you have them on your safety vests. My employees love that feature on their vests and dropped all other brands just because of this feature.

We work a lot with tablets and having a secure location to store them while in the field is a really nice touch. In the end I probably would recommend that jacket, after all it did a fantastic job in the conditions that I have faced earlier today.

Just like I said – on the right track, but not quote there yet. Keep up the good work Milwaukee.

I mean for the price it should be like top of the line , with no imperfections, I thought for the price itd be reliable for at least a couple years but my jacket didnt make it more than 4months. I’m highly disappointed because Milwaukee is my favorite brand as a business owner, builder, general contractor, so I love all there tools ! I washed it , the way the directions told me and it came out all mangled and than I put my battery on it and nothing.

It just stopped working. So I’m pretty upset about the quality of the product , I’m sure if it was made for efficient I wouldn’t have the problems I am now. Hopefully I can get some type of like credit for being a loyal customer and that some type of miracle would happen & that I’m not just out of this money for the jacket now.

besides that Milwaukee is a amazing company and there tools are my favorite, the only tools I’ll carry as a general contractor. There Milwaukee staff are very kind and always try to work with you. So all in all I love Milwaukee but my jacket wasnt worth the money.

I feel like I could have just used the money to get me another tool or something but i needed a winter jacket and the weather out here is very emotional so i need a heavy duty jacket to have my back.

Hopefully my experience is i got a jacket that wasnt put together correctly and maybe your experience might be different, I sure hope so!.

This is a well thought out and built cold weather protection system. The inside layer zipper doubles as a zipper that also zips into the outside shell of the second layer. It snaps into the outer shell in three places, as well.

It snaps to the outer layer behind the neck, and at the end of both sleeves. The wrists of the inner liner have elastic preventing any cold air from entering through and under the the inside liner of the arms at the wrist.

Ive used the jacket once so far, and the battery lasted about 7 1/2 hours on low, (switched to medium and high for a few minutes during that time). It generated plenty of heat on a 28 degree morning with about a 5 m.

p. h. wind. It was comfortable in that temperature without even having to power on the heating element. I Havent owned this system for long, but if the heating element and wires are as good of quality that the outside components appear to be, it should last for 5 years + if not abused.
