20 Best Heat Press Under $300 (2023 Updated)

I purchase 12×10 press. It’s quite heavy which means you only have to add a bit of weight if you need more pressure. I’m a very small person so it works great for me. I found the settings quite easy to work out.

It heats up fairly quickly (1min to 180deg) and after a time not in use it turns off. It comes with a heat pad also which I didn’t expect. It presses large htv with ease however for very small detail it’s not suitable.

You will definitely need a smaller heat press if you are pressing on childrens clothes or smaller blanks. It arrived within 10days of purchase which is pretty good considering the postage I’m australia is experiencing delays.

I’m super happy with product and I look forward to making more purchases in future.

I bought this heat press for my husband who has been talking about making his own shirts. He is really happy with the heat press and it is a great tool for just starting out to make shirts. Highly recommended.

This was my first attempt at anything with a heat press and this one has been working great so far. I haven’t had any issues, but felt confident in my purchase because they guarantee the product and other reviews backed that up.

Works well for the price. Alittle small so harder to get the center lined correctly. Buttons take some learning to get used to. Overall not a bad deal

So far, I’ve only used it on the Cricut logo that goes on the cotton storage bag that comes with it. It worked exactly the way it was supposed to work. I contemplated the Mini Easy Press and the larger 12″ x 12″, but I decided the in-between size would be a more useful option.

I like that, unlike an iron, it has a flat even surface with no (steam) holes and a square shape (good for T-shirt decals). There may come a time when I would want all 3 sizes but, for now, I think the mid-size 9″ x 9″ will work for anything I need to press.

This is an awesome product especially when making transfers to put on t-shirts!!

When I found out the new Cricut EasyPress 3 was going to be Bluetooth enabled, I was hooked! I love that the press now integrates directly with the Cricut Heat App (which is required to register and use the product).

After registering the product on the app, you have the choice to use it via Bluetooth or manually. I’ve done both and will opt for the Bluetooth connected version whenever possible! I love that the Cricut Heat App takes any guesswork out.

AND how it limits pushing the up or down button to get the right time and temp. I was always frustrated when doing Infusible Ink at a high temp and long time and then to switch to a shirt that required me to set it way back down again! Now, the Cricut Heat App will do that for you! If you are looking for a heat press or if you just like the tech features, the new Cricut EasyPress 3 would be a great purchase! However, if you already have the Cricut EasyPress 2 and are happy, the only upgrade is the tech feature.

and the cool Zen Blue color. You really can’t go wrong either way. The Cricut EasyPress gives me a even temp and the 12×10″ size allows for all size of items from a single coaster or onesie to a large pillow blank.

For a casual crafter, you can’t go wrong with any of the Cricut EasyPress products. However, I am loving my Cricut EasyPress 3 with Bluetooth!.

I have had this product for 3 years, didn’t use it that much until the last couple months. The vinyl (siser and Cricut) in the middle of EVERY shirt I’ve made (mostly for myself) is coming off. I thought it was because there wasn’t enough pressure, wrong temperature, operator error.

Tried different things, same outcome. Oh, and a couple times the vinyl would not adhere to the shirt. RIDICULOUS!! I am not happy with this product!! I am researching professional heat presses to replace this.

It was a birthday present from my husband. I will not buy any more Cricut products. The tools break, at least mine did (spatula and scraper). So very disappointed in Cricut.

This works great! I was using a regular household iron for my projects because I didn’t want to spend the money on a heat press. But I finally caved and I’m so glad I did! This made a huge difference and was so much easier to use! If you make a lot of iron on decals you definitely want to invest in this!.

This was a great buy! After reading the reviews I thought I would give this a try. I had to make about 50 shirts for our staff and it did its job! Its a cute color and I love the timer on it. It did exactly what it advertised.

Would recommend this one over the brand Cricut. It also came with a mini project so you can practice on it. love it!.

I was kind of skeptical at first, because I didnt know much about this product. It truly proved me wrong. Great, inexpensive product. It does the job for me, now I am on here looking for a 12×10. Cricutbrand is ridiculously high, for what reason I do not know, I guess because of the name.

This was so worth the money for me.

First let me say I own 5 different heat presses from Heat Press Nation, Fusion, and Geo Knight and I don’t normally write reviews, but I just received the Vevor 15×15 and it is wonderful. Fast heating 5 in one Combo with 360 degrees swing away.

I paid $208 for the machine. I just does everything you want it to do. I have to say it is a great machine. I will probably never use the accessories that come with the machine, so I won’t comment on them, I just wanted the heat press.

It works wonderfully, heats up faster than the other machines that I have and everything else works great. I like the design on the machine and can’t understand why others don’t use this style when making presses.

It’s simple, Effective and makes a lot of sense. I will always look at Vevor again when looking for any kind of heat press or mug press.

This heat press comes assembled with the t-shirt press which makes getting it set up for use super easy. The controls are easy to use. Swing-away design makes burning yourself on the hot plate less likely and allows for easy placement of the garment.

I’ve done a couple shirts with this so far and they both passed the wash test and no damage was done to the garment. Overall very satisfied! I was a little disappointed in the packaging. The styrofoam on the inside of the box was broken into tiny pieces and got everywhere when removing the press, and there were some dirty finger marks on the instruction materials from the warehouse, but none of this affects the quality of the machine so I still rate it at 5 stars.

I only tried the hat press, which is the primary reason I bought this, so I can only speak to it. The press doesn’t open wide enough to be able to set up the hat and the htv. The instructions were not as bad as other people said, however, there were no instructions on how high or how long to set it for making hats.

I have already returned it.

It did not come with instructions. First time using or buying one. Took me a little time to figure it all out but now I’m good. Has worked great.

I was skeptical at first but am so glad I got this because I have had so many wonderful things from using this. The vinyl stays .

I bought this heat press 6 months ago and it worked really well as far as the heat control and attaching heat transfers. But overtime because it swings out, the screw becomes lose and the top plate detaches itself from the machine.

This happened several times in the midst of pressing shirts (very annoying). And you have to let the machine cool down in order to reattach the plate. Also, the digital screen is difficult to read the numbers.

The background is red on top of red numbers, so you have to really look closely to read the temperature. And finally, after 6 months of production, and I’m just a beginner, so about 6 – 8 sets of shirts (10-20 at a time), the machine just stopped heating up.

I’m so unhappy with this purchase and it doesn’t appear to have a warranty after 90 days! DO NOT BUY.

I’ve seen and bought gun cases for $200 that weren’t the quality of this case. Solid, and well made, key lock and combo locks. Could not believe the quality when it arrived. Large enough even for my bench rest rifle.

Heavy duty enough for and certified for airline travel. You can’t go wrong for less than $45. 00! Highly recommended.

I was excited to have this until I read the “instructions” They are non existent! The vinyl paper does not work and nowhere can I find ties temperatures or instructions. TOTAL waste of money. VERY disappointed.

I love my US Cutter Heat Press. This is actually my second heat press. My first heat press wasn’t work properly so I called US Cutter to trouble shoot the problem. They were unable to help fix the problem and offered a no hassle exchange of product.

I received it in a very timely manner. I was very excited to have my heat press in time for a vinyl pressing onesie baby shower. It was a hit. My only wish is that either the clamshell opened wider or the top swung to the side.

It would be easier to arrange vinyl on the bottom platten instead of having to move the garment from one surface on to the bottom platten and hoping the vinyl didn’t move.

I purchased this heat press 4 1/2 years ago after I purchased a Silhouette vinyl cutter. My soul purpose was to do t-shirts and this has never failed me. I have now moved on to sublimation, and it is still going strong.

This has been an awesome heat press. I have not had a single problem with it. I would highly recommend it to anyone just beginning or an experienced user.

I’ve only used this once to transfer a decal to a face mask and it worked perfectly. Setting clamping pressure was very easy to calibrate and change. The control panel did take a little getting used to but overall the heat press is pretty easy to use and works well.

I noticed my vinyl wasn’t staying on my sweaters and shirts. Like many of the reviewers I searched and searched and SEARCHED all over the internet to find the best proper heat press. This Hotronix Craft pink press had absolutely no bad reviews which was shocking to me (everybody’s a critic nowadays).

I am happy that I took a leap of faith, spent my hard earned cash and bought this press. I own a clothing line and this heat press is going to completely change things for me now. I encourage anybody who needs a great, durable, high end and high quality press to take a look or several looks at this one.

You won’t regret it !!.

IšverstiShow in original languagei had a bigger 15×15 unbranded machine and decided since it wasn’t producing the quality I’d hoped for and that I needed, it was time to upgrade. After much searching online I decided to buy this one.

I was a little iffy due to the fact that it’s much smaller but figured it had a better known brand so must be worth the money (triple the price and less than half the size of my last one) so I took the plunge, and man o man am I glad I did.

from the very first look I could tell this was much better quality: instead of a cheap spring lift this press has dual arm hydraulic spring loaded lifts on each side. Much better construction in the metal.

The display and buttons much nicer. my old machine had Celcius, this machine shows Fahrenheit!!! Yay!!! From the first press I could distinctly tell I was dealing with a new grade and quality product and knew immediately my old unbranded China press was NOT getting hot enough.

I am still in awe of this one. my ONLY complaint is that mine arrived with the beautiful pink paint chipping right on the front where it’s visible. So that was a little saddening, but after reselling my other to help pay for this one and items to make I had no choice but to keep it.

All in all I’m very happy with it, even tho it’s much smaller and more expensive, I LOVE IT , and if I knew then what I know now I’d have bought it right out of the gate. Lastly, I’ve purchased from swing design before and they’ve proven to have the best prices for me on big buys twice now.

So really happy with that as well.

The heat press itself works perfectly and the color is so vibrant and beautiful. I use it for baby onesies so the size is perfect but if I decide to do adult size shirts I can definitely still use it for that too.

Definitely recommend for those who are just starting out!.

I bought this heat press a few months ago because I wanted to start making shirts, hats, cups, etc and I have made quite a few with it. It does heat up pretty fast and presses as easy as butter I really don’t have any complaints about it, I will say it’s very beginner friendly so if you have been thinking about getting into the shirt making business and your looking for a affordable heat press well then I would definitely recommend trying this one.

I really loved my heat press. I was able to do some really cool things with mine. Worked amazing. Definitely comes with everything you need to get started. Unfortunately I moved almost a year ago and during the move mine got broke.

My husband got this and a cricut for me last Christmas and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend getting a heat press over just a household iron, makes it so much faster and easier. Here are some of the shirts my daughter and I have done so far.

This was a replacement unit for a defective unit I received last August. Original unit initially acted up then leveled out and then eventually failed to power up at all. Replacement was fairly timely and so far works well.

Communication was good and they actively tried to fix my original. I would buy again. This press is for personal usage, Family and friends, as Well as gifts. Love buying made in the USA.

I purchased based on the good reviews. I used and everything fell off my design. Instructions said it could need to be recalibrated contacted Tech support who said the same. That failed and it was determined a part needed to be replaced.

Really? On a brand new machine. I had to return the item and pay over $100 in shipping costs that can’t be given back until three machine is insisted for defect. The worse experience ever. Still waiting.

Even with the pressure backed completely off, I could not print a beverage insulator without it being crushed. Plus the temperature was not consistent across the entire surface according to my heat gun.

I could not recommend this press.

Great product in excellent price. Very easy to use with great results. I would like though a bit more information at the product page, such as that this model can’t combined with extra features like mug press and hat press etc.

and that it includes the heat pillow (that’s a plus). Overall is a product I recomend for sure. All crafters should own this!.

The Good – Arrived quickly. Easy setup. Element heated up quickly. The Bad – Directions are sparse. Although it was easy enough to set the timer, it would not begin the countdown. I tried several times.

It was late, so I decided to wait until the weekend to try again to see if I had missed something, and maybe try to find a YouTube video or reviews on Amazon for guidance since the instructions included were not very descript.

The Ugly – After the initial use, I tried the unit again 2 days later and it would not turn on. I tried 3 outlets to be sure it was not the power supply on my end. I double checked all of the connections.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. all lead to the Eventual Return.

This heat press is great! I love that it flashes and beeps when it’s done heating up or when ur pressing something and the timer counts down. I havent gotten a chance to use any of the attachments it came with, like the hat or cup molds, but it opens up more possibilities for my company and I cant wait to try them out! One thing I disliked was the instructions are not very helpful.

I havent had this press long, and have yet to use the extra attachments so far. BUT! I received this very well packaged. Did not really come with detailed instructions. I was able to find youtube videos, and it works great.

I love my new heat press. I’m very pleased with my purchase. It was out of stock for what seemed like forever but I refused to settle for anything other than this Starcraft. It’s a beautiful well built heat press.

It’s easy to operate. Makes crafting easier and faster. It’s a beautiful mint color. The price did increase quite a bit when they became available. But I believe it’s a good investment for such a solid well built press.

First of all I was surprised and very pleased with the very quick shipment after placing my order. It only took 2 days to receive. It arrived in perfect condition, I was able to unpack, plug in and get to pressing.

The temperature is spot on and adjusting the pressure is easy and quick. The top platen is level and provides consistent even pressure. Very happy that I chose this heat press!.
