I didn’t know what to expect but this stuff blew me away with how quickly it worked. Super easy dosing but I had to supply my own syringe to measure what I needed for small puppies. Within 20 minutes no joke, bouquets of worms came out of my 4 week puppies.

Dry heaving and shocked is how I described my reaction. I fostered baby puppies for the first time so this was my first experience with an initial worming but I’m in shock. Excited to see how their 6 week deworming goes – I hope alllll worms are gone and the babies get to keep all the nutrients they need!.

I am fostering 5 kittens and a series of information led me to believe that this dewormer would be safe to also use on cats. For reference, the Kitten Lady had a link to an amazon seller selling this, yet in another dewormer video she talks about getting prescription dewormer from your vet?! I had to order online and wait over a week to get it.

I am very scared to deworm the kittens with over the counter medicines because I read of certain brands killing cats. Using this dewormer on a kitten would be like a speck of dosage and that doesn’t sit right with me.

I am sure this is good for what it is actually suited for, a dog, which is why I gave 5 stars. But I will be returning and NOT be using as a kitten dewormer. I will pay the high vet costs to make sure the kittens are dewormed correctly.

Some things aren’t worth the risk with DIY.

We are very happy with Nemex-2 to treat all of our puppies. Yes we have used the regular pyrantel pamoate for adults in the past. The puppies are “Much Happier” with the taste of the Nemex. Will continue to purchase and use this.

I purchased this to treat one of our 3 indoor/outdoor cats that was bloated and vomiting roundworms. But when one of your clan has worms, you need to treat them all – which for me includes another 31 farm cats and a lab retriever.

Obviously, this can get costly for periodic worming! The canine panacur is the same as the feline product. And since I am very frugal, my vet recommended using whichever is cheaper. Directions say to administer it once a day for three days.

The easiest for me is to mix it in their canned food which they all get once a day. A few of the cats would turn up their noses at first but would eventually eat it when they saw that was all they were getting.

Most didn’t know the difference (along with our dog who will eat anything). Definitely less expensive than purchasing through the vet and always less per dose compared to other brands. It is very effective and seems to start working immediately.

Make sure you figure out the dose you need before purchasing. you might need to divide up the dry contents of a packet. There are different sizes of boxes/packets available. In this case, each packet is 4 grams and each gram treats 10 lbs of body weight.

The easiest way for me to do this is to dissolve it in a measured amount of liquid and use a syringe to measure what you need. For example, if you have two (approximately) 5 lb kittens, each kitten would need a dose of 1/2 gram.

You can dissolve the 4 gram packet in 4 ml of liquid and use a syringe to measure up 1/2 ml each. In this case you will have one gram (or 1 ml) left over after 3 days so you might want to look for a different packaged dose so you aren’t wasting $.

Another example: if you have a 12 – 15 lb dog, dissolve one packet in 3 ml of liquid and draw up 1 ml each day for 3 days. Or if you have a 40 lb dog, just mix one packet into their food for 3 days. If it’s confusing just call your vet and ask how to measure it.

But try to figure this out before purchasing so you have enough for the life cycle of most worms – 3 days!.

I got this along with metronidazole tablets to treat my dog for Giardia. She tolerated the treatment well and ate all the food it was mixed with. A few days after the treatment was completed, she got bad diarrhea.

Idk whether this means she still has Giardia or something else caused it. I will have her tested for Giardia again soon.

Stray cats arrived suffering from Giardia infestation. Symptoms are high body temperature (you’ll notice the cat on your lap seems much, much warmer than usual) their eyes have a sleepy, squinty look- the third eyelid partially visible is a red flag for Giardia, another big telltale symptom and the clincher is the horrible odoriferous diarrhea and stool.

The odor is very offensive. The cats coat will feel greasy, and have a glossy appearance to it. They will be much sleepier than usual, and upon waking have a groggy, drunken walk, sometimes falling if they’re moved suddenly upon waking.

This Panacur CURES the Giardia. WEIGH your cats, follow instructions to a T, do not over or under medicate. Over-medicating them will make them ill. Change litter, disinfect boxes, wash/disinfect all bedding, toys, anywhere or thing the cats touch- Giardia is “sticky”.

I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER give this medication again. My 3 month old Canecorso Mastiff puppy took this medication yesterday after dinner. Last night I noticed she did not act like her self. She was acting lethargic, super sleep, would not open her eye.

I screamed shook her pick up her lips (she normally HATE it with a passion) nothing would slowly open her eyes but not fully wake up. This morning, she ate her food acted like her self barking for her food wagging her tail.

After she ate immediately went back to being lethargic, gums pale, not wanting yo play with the other 2 dogs we have slobbering no water intake and super sleepy. Needless to say. vet visit is going to happen and I will be contacting the corporate office to get this handled.

I’ll get a note from the vet stating it was the medication and this company will pay for this visit. Promise you that.

Our 5-month-old puppy would NOT eat the Interceptor Plus “hard” chews. He eats everything he sees so this was surprising. We mixed it in with his breakfast and he spits the “chew” out. We wrapped it in peanut butter and he refused it.

We had to break the “chew” in quarters and hide them in a hotdog. Within eight hours of taking Interceptor Pulse, our dog had liquid diarrhea so we are cooking rice. I inadvertently touched my finger to my mouth after handling the Interceptor Plus “chew” and it tastes HORRIBLY BITTER.

No wonder the dog wouldn’t eat it.

I appreciate Bravecto’s effectiveness. I’m forced to use the topical version for our pit bull; she detests the oral no matter how much effort and cleverness I devote to getting it down her throat. She has very short fur.

It’s more challenging administering topical to her than it was for our longer-furred dogs. Today she immediately shook off the topical, spraying droplets in a 4 foot radius on the kitchen floor. What I learned today is that for her next dose I will 1) administer it outdoors 2) cover the administered area with Saran wrap for a minute or so, to let as much as possible absorb before she attempts to shake it all off 3) wear rubber gloves If you have other suggestions for the topical, I’d like to hear them.

Our dog is 14, and has some kidney and liver issues, and we did not want to use edibles. So we recently switched to Bravecto Topical. Chewy was great, shipped fast at a good price. Our dog tolerated the topical very well with no skin reaction, unlike prior skin reactions to other brands.

Easy to apply, and the 12 week dose is very convenient. No sign of fleas or ticks still about 7 weeks after application. Definitely a great product and Chewy is very easy to deal with.

I am a dog grooming shop owner. I rehilbiate raccoons, chipmunks & possums. I also get a lot of feral cats around from feeding the wild animals. All my domesticated pets(3 dogs & 1 cat & a blind guinea pig) are handicapped, I take the pets no one wants.

I just had a feral kitten follow me into the house, so now I have 2 cats. I keep them on this ALL YEAR LONG. I would NEVER let my cats out but for the ignorant humans that do, they are just asking for fleas, gardia worms, toxoplasmosis, ect.

Since the chipmunks sometimes sneak in the house, I don’t want to worry & all my pets have been fine. The new Kitten just had it’s 1st vet check & I put this on as soon as I came home. Can’t recommend it enough.

When I first adopted my cat, they told me to continue purchasing revolution plus. The vet office her adoption agency told me to use was charging me almost 60 dollars for a 1-month dose and $120 for the 3 month dose.

They were entirely too expensive and it wasn’t feasible for me to drive up to the vet office and keep buying the one month doses each time she needed her meds. Her vet office wasn’t local by any means and was a 30-40 minute drive.

It also wasn’t going to work b/c I’m a college student full time and go to school 3 and a half hours away. When I tried contacting her VCA Lilburn vet clinic to get pet meds approved, they told me they couldn’t do it.

I found another vet in my college town and they had no problem approving the meds for her every 3 months, and I haven’t had any issues since. 1-800 pet meds is SO much cheaper plus they ALWAYS have the EZREFILL discount code for me to use.

Chewy pharmacy was slightly expensive too, and I haven’t found anything cheaper or easier than 1-800 pet meds.

We have enjoyed the pleasures and pain of many furry, hairy and woolly loving family members in our long lifetime together. All of them had their individual characteristics however they all were suseptical to common parasitic infestations, in particular fleas.

Over the years we have found that isolating our pets from others is the best way to keep our cats and dogs flea free. Of course this is not always possible as even a few seconds of close contact with another animal can result in flea transfer causing a flea infestation of all of our pets and their environments which can be very difficult to eliminate no matter what methods/products are used.

Obviously prevention is better than cure. So topical treatments are available and recommended for both cats and dogs We tried many brands promoted by vets, friends, breeders and other pet owners. Some came with such good reputations according to those promoting the products that we were shocked when we found they did not work.

On one visit to a very experienced vet he pronounced that our cat had fleas. Not many but she did have fleas nevertheless. We told him we had been treating her with a well known popular and not cheap brand.

He said the only effective way to prevent fleas and many other parasites in dogs and cats is to use Advocate. He gave us some to try and over the many years since our pets have been completely flea and worm free.

We still isolate our pets from others as much as possible but we have confidence in knowing our four legged family members are very safe from catching nasty parasites from all sorts of sources when we ensure they have their regular dose of Advocate.

Advocate is different from other brands because it actually works – always !.

I have been using this since I got my little boy. I use this one because the RSPCA uses it. It is easy to apply and smells good. It appears to work, as I haven’t seen any of the target organisms on my boy.

Just make sure you apply it high enough on the neck and head that your little darling can’t lick it off. My husband applied it once and he put it too low on the neck. My little boy licked some off and was sick and not moving much for at least 5 days.

That only happened the once and it has been good otherwise.

Our past dog was just miserable with fleas. We tried everything. Mostly using the topical style of protection. It really didn’t work, at least for as bad as our dog had it. She would yip and bite at her skin.

We used it and it worked very well! Like zero fleas or anything! Over the years, going through different vets, I always try and see where they’re at when it comes to flea treatments and stuff. They ALWAYS will say they don’t recommend Revolution because they don’t trust it.

It’s sooo weird to me. Almost like there are companies paying them to do that. Our newest vet is really nice. When I told her about Revolution, she said the same thing! I swear by this stuff. It really does work! She wanted is to buy chewables and says the topical doesn’t hold it’s strength as long and this and that.

I told her I will think about it. And I did. I’m sticking to my go to! And I was reading some of the negative reviews on here. Some were saying they still see fleas. What I do is give my dog a bath using oatmeal flea shampoo.

One from the PetSmart. Then wait till the next day after your dog is dry! Put half the tube between the dogs shoulder blades and the other half on the dogs rear leg blades, just above where the tail comes out.

Idk how you say it lol. But this is what I have been doing for years and trust me. It works!.

We have been using Revolution on our kitty since he was 6 months old. He came to us from the shelter with coccidia and roundworm. No matter how hard we tried, the roundworm refused to clear. After reading that Revolution is the only flea product that also deals with parasites, we requested an RX from the vet.

Within two weeks of starting him on Revolution, the roundworm finally cleared. He is now 3. 5 years old, and he has never had another positive parasite test since. He is tested at least twice a year, because we walk him on-leash.

He munches on grass where fleas could easily hitch a ride. Very effective product. I just wish it hadn’t doubled in price over the last year. The first time we put it on him, his fur disintegrated a bit at the application site.

However, that has never occurred again in the three years since.

I tried several over-the-counter flea medications for my dog and cat, and soon I noticed I was being bit and my pets were scratching all the time. I thought I had mosquito bites. I thought the dog had allergies so put the dog on prednisolone.

It seemed to help, but he gained weight and had a ravenous appetite. After a time he started to itch again. The cat, on the other hand, got steroid shots to no avail. He was itchy no matter what. Meanwhile, we were still giving both of them OTC flea meds regularly every month.

Finally our vet used a flea comb on both of them and they were loaded with fleas. I was appalled. After completely de-fleaing the house and both the cat and dog, we went back to Revolution. We haven’t had a problem since.

I’m never again trusting an OTC flea med. That experience was no fun, believe me. Not for any of us. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it myself.

Our Papillon has been on advantage multi for two years now. No critters and no health issues. Rescued him from a bad situation. And only knew he was older, now at least 12, and an unknown medical history.

Also, he has no teeth, so chewables were not an option. Researched and this was pretty much the only option from a safety perspective. Especially for an older dog with no history or teeth. Thankfully it turned out to be as advertised and recommended.

Easy to apply, didn’t bother him as all.

Cleo’s vet switched to ingested treatments and our girl is super picky about what she eats. Reviews of ingested included inducing vomiting. So. the topical she has been using successfully for the past year is still available at PetMeds at a much better price than the vet’s office.

Glad the vet provided the info to PetMeds easily, so Cleo will remain on Advantage Multi successfully.

My 12yr old, 14 lb Chiweenie has been on Simparica Trio for 3 months and she has developed tremors. This medication is known to cause neurological defects, and my dog obviously is one of the dogs affected.

With every dose, her tremors get worse. Now she’s practically falling over. There have been no other additions of medications or changes in her diet, the Simparica Trio is at fault. Hardly worth the protection from fleas and ticks and heartworm when your dog has tremors that are making her fall over.

I plan to call Chewy and I hope they will be reasonable and give me my money back, at least a partial refund would be nice. Especially since now I have to buy a special separate heartworm tablet and also a flea and tick medication, I think I’m going to go with the topical flea and tick medication this time.

I have been giving this to my 2 old dog since she was a puppy. I’ve never had any issues and appreciate how easy it is to cover all those needs in one chew. Only thing to note, this is the 1st time I’ve ordered online instead of getting it placed right in my hand from the vet.

I ordered online because I was in a pinch due to recently moving far from our current vet and I haven’t transitioned to a new one yet. Needless to say, I trusted Chewy to deliver because they have always been quick and without issue.

Just my luck the one time I need that most, my order is delayed. At this point she’s gone past when I would normally give her a dose. I’ll never trust buying something this important online ever again.

I started receiving this product through your company after several years of getting from another due to a vet change. I resigned myself to paying more due, which included paying for shipping. The place I previously got it from did not charge shipping at all, and sent it in a small sealed Rx mailer sleeve thing, inside a small padded envelope.

You send it in an actual Rx pill bottle, in a box, with all kinds of extra, wasteful, nonsense. I definitely think there is room for improvement in this area that would be better for you, your customers, and the environment.

The waste you create with your current way is shameful. The product itself and all is good. I am happy with that. But I think you could reduce the shipping costs, and waste, but looking into some changes for your packaging and shipping methods.
