20 Best Heart Shaped Waffle Maker (2023 Updated)

No special features with this product. The ease of use is excellent, although it does take a little time to adjust it to where it will make your waffle perfect for you. I thought the cleanup would be a little difficult because the plates aren’t removable but, it really was very easy to get all the oil off the plates and make it very clean.

Overall, I really love how the waffles tasted and how they were made. The instructions are simple and there are recipes in the instruction book, although I have not tried them yet. The waffle recipe I used was my mother’s, and they came out excellent! I would recommend this product but, if you are going to make extra waffles to possibly toast them later, you will have to use a toaster oven because they will not fit in regular toaster, even if you separate them, they maybe to small for a regular toaster.

One last thing, the waffle iron itself is very sturdy; when you open/close it, the lid does not wiggle or shake at the hinges.

Fantastic waffle maker for the price! I only have it 4 starts because I would have like for it to have the beep when the waffles are done like my previous model did. With that being said I had no problem timing the waffles and they came out perfect every time!.

This waffler seems to be primarily made for French galette cookies, where dough is thicker than the regular waffle batter. Regular waffles cook OK, but they come out really thin. I will have to play with my waffle recipe to try and get them to look the way they should.

I was very disappointed in how small the waffle is. I thought my two great grands (4 & 5 yr olds) would enjoy them, but my goodness, I would have to make quite a number in advance and keep warm before serving them.

If the size of the waffle was listed in the ad brochure, I missed it. I don’t know if I can return it to the local Sam’s, but would love to. I doubt I will ever use it. If anyone has a practical use for it, I would love to hear it.

Super cute. Takes a while to make a bunch of waffles as they are mini. but so cute and worth the wait. Could be used to make cookie waffles, cake waffle pops, or anything creative like that! I like my waffle maker! Chocolate waffles with whip cream and strawberries are adorable for Valentine’s Day or an Anniversary.

I thought because it said deluxe and I paid more that maybe it may be better than the regular dash waffle makers. Compared to the regular version, it isn’t. Disappointed. I gave it 3 stars because the cleaning brush is decent.

I used the mini waffle maker last night, after reading the instructions. It is mostly intuitive to use, except for a few things. 1) You are not supposed to open the lid straight up, rather to the side to avoid burns.

While it is clearly said in the instructions, I think it should also be stickied on the actual waffle maker as that is easy to forget. It ended up taking me 40 mn to make about 12 waffles, not to mention you need to check to see if they are done, and if they are not check again, so you do lift the lid a lot.

2) The instructions do not give an estimate for how long to leave the waffle in. It says to take it out when done to your satisfaction. I understand that different people have different preferences, but I do wish they gave an estimate, for example, 2 for slightly underdone, 3 for done, 4 for crisp.

I will have to keep playing with it to find an ideal length of time, as of now they were not done enough to my satisfaction (cooked, but not crisp). For the $10 dollars I paid, and the 2 yr warranty that I got when I signed up I am very happy.

It cooks evenly, and while the outside feels a bit cheap the inside feels nice, and for $10 what do you expect? I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 because I think it would be very easy for them to add a sticker on the lid, and an estimated cooking time.

I have a small kitchen and am usually just cooking for myself so I love the size of this Dash mini-waffle maker. I’ve given several of the Dash products as gifts including beehive, spiderweb and pizzelle designs.

One grandaughter loves taco chaffles. Whisk and egg and add 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and taco seasoning before cooking. Makes 2 chaffles. Serve with guac, salsa and sour cream. Another grandaughter who is a picky eater likes the plain egg and cheese chaffle with syrup and turkey bacon.

My 14 year old grandson loves to make his own egg sandwiches on english muffins or waffles that he dips in syrup. Lots of possibilities. TikTok and Pinterest are good places to find inspiration and recipes.

And the price is fantastic for how useful these are. I think BB&B is the best place to find all the different designs at the best prices.

I generally love Dash cookware. I own two of their yogurt makers as well as their egg cooker. They’re generally super cute and well-designed, which is why I chose this particular waffle maker. However, I returned it after one use because it was pretty awful.

Most importantly, it doesn’t cook evenly. If you fill all the wells up, it causes the top plate to rise. Because the top plate is secured with hinges, only the front part rises while the back part closest to the hinges remains pressed down.

That results in the two front waffles being undercooked while the two back waffles are fully cooked. The side wells for the that make the waffle sticks are pointless. You have to overfill the waffle wells by A LOT before they run off into the waffle sticks area and if you’re pouring that much batter, you’ve made a huge mess all over the machine.

I love this waffle maker! It’s easy to use and easy to keep clean. Pretty lightweight which I was pleasantly surprised by. And best of all you can make a lot of waffles quickly because they’re nice and thin and it cooks them fast.

My Norwegian husband grew up with vafler shaped like this and it’s been so fun to continue the tradition with our kids now!.

My original “Five of Hearts” waffle iron was a family treasure. It produced waffles faster than our family of four could eat them. Then it died. I lamented to the manufacturer online and was told my name would be on a list to call when they have them ti sell again.

They sent me an email! I bought my new one and have a new treasure to love.

I had the same model for many years until it finally gave out. So happy I could buy another one because I tried a different brand in the meantime when these weren’t being available to purchase. The others didn’t measure up.

So happy to get my favorite again.

It took a while to get here and will take a while to figure out how to use it. That said, the nonstick works well (we use a recipe with butter/oil in it and then brush a little oil on one side each time) and the waffles are really good (even if misshapen).

The waffle maker is fun to use so you can get cute heart shaped waffles! Does take some time to learn to cook them evenly. So practice, practice, practice and eat waffles!

Why not make your own toaster waffles? This is the tool!! Easy to use (spray oil first) easy to take apart and thoroughly clean.

Nice unit. I would have liked it to toast the waffle more, but I have it on the highest setting. Grill area stays clean.

After buying this waffle maker I have made perfect waffles for breakfast every day! This waffle maker was exactly what I was looking for. I really love that the grids are so easily detachable for washing after every use.

After a few uses here’s my advice for the best waffles: For 1 Waffle 1 cup pancake/waffle mix (I recommend Kodiak Cakes mix, it’s 100% whole grains and adds 28g of protein per waffle, but tastes like regular mix!) 3/4 cup water 1 tbsp olive oil (to prevent any sticking on the grids) Be sure to mix with a whisk for optimal batter consistency! No need to spray the grids before adding batter, I have never had any sticking issues following these instructions.

After putting the batter into the waffle maker and flipping it, I only unflipped when I could no longer see any steam coming out of it. There is a green light that indicates when the waffle is ready, however, I read some reviews about instead waiting for all the steam to be gone and found that to be a much better indicator for a ready and fully cooked waffle! Following these instructions has always made the best, easiest, and healthiest waffles! Enjoy! Now I can’t wait to host brunches and make waffles for all my friends!! A purchase worth the price in my opinion! I’ve probably already saved hundreds of dollars making my own waffles vs ordering in!.

Overall a good waffle maker for the price. I really love that the plates are removable for washing. However, I’m disappointed in the temperature setting—at the highest setting (3) I cannot get my waffles to have crisp edges.

Belgian waffles are supposed to be tall and crispy on the outside, but soft inside. Mine certainly came out tall and soft inside, but not crispy at all.

This unit is very light so easy to move from cabinet to counter. That’s where the good part stops. The plates were not very think and the whole unit seemed to be of lesser quality than I am used to. The handle unexpectedly flipped up when trying to turn.

I did not like the way the waffles cooked. There is no bell to tell you the waffle is finished so it’s a guessing game. I tried different recipes both sweet and savory and was not satisfied with any of them.

What a shame as I was looking forward to getting this. I felt I could trust Hamilton Beach as they are a well known company. Sadly I returned this waffle maker and am on the hunt for another.

I got this for Valentine’s Day and it’s my favorite appliance. Takes about 3/5mins per waffle (depending on the type of waffle). It’s kid friendly! Easy clean up. Wash with soap and water, plug it up to dry the water that gets inside let it cool pack it away.

Honestly I highly recommend getting the other MyMini appliances for your kids sleepover and letting everyone make their own breakfast! If you are allowed to have small appliances in your dorm get you one! You’ll thank me later.

This product does not work. It is very disappointing that nothing comes out. It cost me a lot of money and now I have nothing to show for it. Too bad you can’t get a refund. I bought it at a Walmart and they told me I had to go inside to get a refund.

I teach a little community college class. Non-credit and this was for children on we have bought about seven different styles between myself and the college and we had a waffle making class. We use this gingerbread one with snickerdoodles recipe.

There’s recipes inside a little book that comes with it but I actually just ordered another one for myself cuz that one was the one I picked up for the school and we’re going to have a gingerbread cookie day over and I start with gingerbread breakfast.

The kids decorated these with candies. The snickerdoodle recipe with a big head I told them to wait till the next morning to eat the other ones. We have the tree we have the gingerbread man a heart shaped around on the pumpkin I just love these little dash waffle maker.

The book is so great it must have a hundred recipes in it. I totally recommend it but be careful with children because when you do open it steam comes out and they do warn you about that so you open it from behind.

Kids in my class were about 10 years old I still didn’t let them open it.

This is a great little product but, if you are serious about making pizzelles, get 2. I know. This is my second unit. Using a single unit just frustrated me and took all the fun out of cooking. Using 2 units at the same time made a world of difference.

I load them with batter at the same time, Cook both cookies for 90 to 105 seconds, take them out at the same time and you will be a happy camper. A # 70 squeeze release disher makes perfect cookies and speeds the process.

The pizzelle makers are well built. They maintain a uniform cooking temperature and the cookies don’t stick. (Use a silicone spatula) Very quick and easy to clean up with a soft bottle brush and dish soap under running water (don’t submerge them.

) and leave them in the dish rack to dry. They are small and store easily when not in use and they’re inexpensive. Get 2! On the downside, they must be washed by hand but that is a minor issue.

Makes exceptionally good pizelles with not much space. I didn’t want to purchase a large expensive unit as I plan to make these only once or twice a year. The unit is cute and small, but makes average sized pizelles.

I set a timer for 2 – 2 1/2 minutes, then do something else while they are baking; remove the baked pizelle, add more batter, restart the timer, powder the baked one, and continue doing other things in the kitchen while the next one bakes.

Mmmmm! For the price, If I want to make two at a time like the more advanced Pizelle makers, I might purchase a second one of these. No need for more expensive makers. I’m thrilled. And with it being so tiny and cute, I might just make a small batch every so often.

I’ve only used it once but I like it. It is obviously more time consuming than throwing some frozen waffles in a toaster, but they taste so much fresher when made with this gadget. It’s small and it definitely takes a while to make several waffles.

But in the long run it’s cheaper to buy waffle mix and make my own. Plus they taste better. I just find things to do for the few minutes the waffle is cooking. They cook fairly evenly, and be careful to not overfill it or it will start coming out the sides.

I only sprayed it once with non stick cooking spray and 6 waffles later they still came right up with no sticking. My only issue is the top is loose. Not sure if this to allow for room in case waffle expands to much or if it is a defect.

Will definitely keep an eye on it.

Talk about love ! I absolutely love it !! When I found it , I had to get a red one to match into my kitchen ❤️ Upon getting home it went from box to counter to being used immediately!! So I’ll be honest , I wanted to test the non stick feature first, and having a recipe to cook an egg in it (yummy!!) (Just one egg cracked and beaten , added some shredded cheese, mix.

Add to pre-warmed waffle maker) So the non stick feature worked wonderful!! My eggs cooked so quick and fluffy and yummy. Going to try waffles this week too. I highly recommend getting one. Not only does it take little space, it warms up quickly, and cooks quickly.

I love this product and so does my students. I have a cooking club at my high school where we use these to make different foods. I find these mini waffles makers to be easier to use and safer than some of the others makers I have tried.

The two little grips on the front help to squeeze the maker back down when things rise. This keeps your hand from getting burnt and that’s a plus when you are trying to keep your students safe. They are amazing little cookers and we have made Smore’s, omlettes, cakes, cookies and more.

You name it we probably tried it. I wanted to teach the students and alternative to cooking on the stove. They enjoy watching thing develop. These are very handy and cheaper than some others. They are my favorite and I recommend them for Junior and Senior High aged students.

This is waffle maker is so small and the waffle size is as a silver dollar. Not worth the money. I had to return the 3 I purchased as they were gifts for my grandchildren for Valentine’s Day… Not worth it.

They have others that are better Quality and better waffle size …….

If you have severe allergies like myself this stuff works GREAT!! I get hay fever, which causes a ton of congestion. I have not been able to breath clearly in 3 weeks. I’ve tried every home remedy. I’ve taken allergy medicine & Mucinex daily.

I did the Netti Pot 2x daily. I have a humidifier with oils that help you breath better, but none of it was working. A friend recommended this but I skeptical as I don’t have a cold & didn’t think it would work.

I did 1 spray into each nostril took a deep breath & I instantly felt my nasal passages begin to clear up!!! It’s now been 4 hours & I have had to blow my nose for the occasional drippy nose but other than that I can clearly breathe.

I have not slept through the night in weeks & I am so excited to finally get some good sleep!!.

Of all the nasal sprays on the market the only one I do heck only one I really can use is the vicks sinus. Most dry my nasal passages to the point of painful or they dont work at all, or worse dont work then middle of the night dry beyond belief (waking up to pain with every breath from the throat and nose.

) Regular vicks with the menthol to ot perfect This is horrid It doesnt work at all photos days now and at best it partially clears the passages. If I’m lucky. I will never buy this again. NOT WORTH IT, to call it severe is just wrong.

I’ve had severe congestion or stuffed nose and it doessnt work hardly at all on regular stuffiness and the one day it would be consider mildly severe it did nothing Literally nothing except it seemed to get worse for a few hours.

I’m glad I didnt pick it up when dealing with true severe congestion and severely stuffed nose I would have been furious to have it not work at all when that desperate. Which I usually am a couple hours in.

I will be writing to the company as well this is ridiculous for them to pass off something like this so low quality that literally dripping or sparaying water would actually work better. Would not recomend would not buy again If it were for fact original almost only thing that works at all I would consider not buyingthe brand again.

This right here!!! My nose been clogged up for a day now. Breathing out my mouth feels too uncomfortable and it’s not cute. Went and decided to purchase this. It burned but when I sniffed it it was like magic! Nose unclogged!! This is pretty cool!.

Bought this waffle maker a short time ago. Easy to use and I love the setting. This machine performs consistently every time. I replaced another brand that would not cook the waffles the same each time.

It would cook some too dark and some ok. The one I recently bought makes great waffles every time and is easy to use and clean.

I feel as many do on here that it is a necessary evil to have to constantly purchase this ink that runs quickly through what ever you are printing way too soon before needing to be replaced. Definitely the reason the printers are fairly cheap as they make up for it off the ink.

That being said I use a lot of ink and have tried the 220 and the 220XL, both are consumed just as quick and even with most of my printing being done in black ink the few color items I print use the ink way quicker than the black is used.

Epson has the right idea with individual cartridges but they should allow more bang for our dollar which I have also addressed with them directly. From printing pictures to graphs to children’s projects you need magenta to round out the spectrum and for the printer to function.

I have tried the cheaper knock offs, some work well some jam up the system and I have to reset the printer, so for now Epson ink is the item I must go with. The price offered here is about what is offered elsewhere that I usually look for ink.

I haven’t had any issues with the cartridges themselves but do have issue with the amount of ink that is left in the cartridges that you cannot use when the printer states it is out. Tried shaking it a few times and re-installed to try and get it all used up without much luck.

So options are not many and I will continue to purchase as I need but I am looking for a re-fill ink reservoir option on my next printer. All things considered it does work and it does offer some good prints, but limited number of prints per cartridge, so use your own judgement in considering individual cartridges, next time I will buy the multi pack.

Clearly, we don’t make waffles often since I bought this a year ago and I just used it for the first time. This machine produced 1 absolutely perfect waffle and then it broke. Nothing. Nada, Zip. No green light, no red light, no heat.

Fortunately, I don”t need this for pancakes.

I hardly print on my Epson WF 2750 printer & I have to replace all ink cartridges every 3 months!! If one cartridge doesn’t work you have to replace all of them to get anything to print!! Never again!! This is my second Epson printer.

I thought maybe the first one was a lemon. NO, All Edson printers are lemons!!.

Ich habe die Waffeln auf Stufe 5 gebacken. Dafür dauerte es nicht so lange. Ich öffne ab und zu den Deckel etwas und schaue nach, wie weit die Waffeln sind. Wenn die gewünschte Bräune erreicht ist, hole ich die Waffeln vorsichtig mit zwei Holzstäbchen heraus (um die Antihaftbeschichtung nicht zu beschädigen).

Sie sind innen fluffig, außen knusprig und nicht zu dunkel. Die Kontrollleuchte geht immer an sobald das Gerät heizt. Manchmal ist die Leuchte von innen beschlagen , was aber für mich keinen Einfluss auf die Betriebstüchtigkeit hat.

Reinigung: Nach dem Abkühlen des Gerätes braucht man die beschichteten Backflächen nur mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen, da kein Teig haften bleibt. Ich habe jetzt schon viele Male Waffeln gebacken: meine Freunde und Familie sind jedes Mal begeistert.
